Luke stepped into the turbolift and ordered it to the transporter room.

He smiled to himself glad it would soon be over.

He tapped his comm badge.

=^= J'Leera here. Glad to hear from you Luke! You on your way to the transporter room to say goodbye to our guests? =^=

=^= Yes I am on my way now! =^= Luke replied. =^= After this is all over do you want to meet up and have a drink? We havent talked in ages and we have a lot to talk about, especially with this past mission and a certain person you left behind after the academy. =^=

J'Leera had been resting when Luke's message came in. She sat up and listened, happy to have something to do at last. When he asked her if she wanted to get togeather and do something, she began to get off the biobed, but she stopped when she saw the disapproving look from Buster.

"You're not going anywhere," he frowned. "We need to keep you under observation in case we run into any problems from the poison."

"I feel fine though..."

He shook his head, "Sorry, but you're not going anywhere. At least not for now. Tell him that you can meet him tomorrow perhaps. I think you'll be ready to leave once you've had sufficient rest."

"Oh, okay," she said, sounding rather disapointed. She contacted Luke immediatly. "Sorry, Luke," she said through her comm. badge. "I'm not going to be able to get out of sickbay until tomorrow. The doctor won't let me go."

" Oh..." she heard him say. He sounded a little disapointed, but then his voice suddenly became more cheeful. "Then we can plan on doing it tomorrow then? Maybe I can stop by sickbay for a quick visit this afternoon."

"That would be really nice! It's getting a little dull here since the Doctor really won't let me do much."

After the mirrors had left the ship and Luke’s plans with J’Leera’s had been confirmed he walked back to the bridge. It was time to head back to the Starbase.

After Luke stopped the computer running a self-diagnostic he bought the sensors back online and set a course for the Bellicose.

He sighed. His career in Starfleet certainly was eventful and it seemed such a long time ago that he was in the academy and shortly afterwards considering his resignation because of his mother, but now he was here with Jeret, his new friend and the love of his life Amy...

"Amy!" He cried. With a few startled looks from the bridge officers he handed hem control over to an Ensign and ran to the turbolift ordering it to the deck where his quarters were.

=^= Amy, are you there? =^=

"Computer locate Amy Krentuckva." Luke ordered the computer.

=^= Miss Krentuckva is in Lt. Jg Luke Dowding quarters on deck ... =^=

Luke began to panic. Why wasn’t she responding? What had his mirror done to her?

****5 mins later****

He ran to the door of his quarters and was devastated to see the security code had been changed, the work of the mirror no doubt.

"Amy!" He yelled banging on the door. "AMY!"

"COMPUTER OVERIDE DOOR LOCK. AUTHORISATION DOWDING 6716 THETA!" Luke cried.

The doors slowly hissed open and Luke walked in and slipped on something. Water he assumed, she must have spilt something he said in his mind. He walked a little further in and ordered the computer to turn on the lights.

He wished he hadn’t. The lights flickered on, it seemed, in slow motion. He spun round to where the 'water' had been and cried out in dismay when he saw it was blood. He slowly turned around and saw Amy lying peacefully on the floor, a wound to her head. The blood around her mad her look like she was in a bed of roses. Luke collapsed besides her, sobbing. He lifted her head and hugged her close. Her blood staining his uniform.

=^= Security and medical….” He stammered. =^= to my quarters…=^= He stopped. He couldn’t possibly speak any more instead he just hung on close to Amy, crying into her hair.

Ok, I'm back now (as you have probably seen on the General Board) but could someone give me a summary of what has happened and where I am at the moment? That would be a lot easier for me to get back into the mission.

Off: A joint post by Tiffani and myself

After the mirrors were beamed off the ship, the ship put under control and course set for Bellicose Felix finally found some time to relax. He was walking down the corridor when he saw Tiffani coming down to him.

"Hey", he said

*she had just got done with some last minute counseling work when she spotted Felix walking down the corridor and she smiled as she approached him*

*hey your self* she replied

*how is my favorite first officer, she gave him a wink as one of the ensigns walked by*

"A bit tired out after all the entertainment from the mirror universe", he laughed

"But really, i think i could use some counseling after all that", he said, » that is if you got any free time on your timetable", he winked

*she gave a smallish grin* well *she said* i think i can work you in now If you have the time.

"Sounds great", he said as they started walking towards the turbolift

"SO how have you been doing after all this?", he asked

*she gave a small shrug* Still a little surprised at few things *she smiled at him as the boarded the turbolift, she then gave him a quick kiss*

But *she paused momentarily afterwards* for now i need to concentrate on others *she smiled* Im sure allot of the Tiger shark crew will need my counseling in the next few days *she awaited his response*

"Sounds like you’ll be busy, isn’t it good that i have a connection in the counseling office", he smiled

"So think you’ve got something that’ll relax me", he asked with a grin

*she laughed and smiled back* well i might have *She gave him a wink as she ordered the turbolift to their quarters* I'll have to see what i can find *She grinned mischiefly*

"Now im worried", he said as they made way to their quarters

"I hope they cleaned out anything that might be left inside by the mirrors", he said as he typed in the code and the door swung open

*she smiled faintly as he mentioned the mirrors again* Yes let hope *she paused for a moment* you know this is our first time entering our quarters as husband and wife *she smiled recalling the wedding and placed her hand on her belly as she recalled the new she shared*

"You’re right", he said as he grabbed her and brought her in over the doorstep

*she held on as he grabbed her as he took her through the doorstep and shared a kiss with him as the doors slided shut* Mmhm *she softly said* it’s so nice to be able to finally relax

"Indeed it is", he said as he kissed her back and put her down on the sofa.....

Some time had passed and Luke still didn’t show up. I wonder where Luke is? she wondered, looking around as if expecting him to pop in at any moment. He probably got busy, she decided and started to eat her dinner.

She slowly picked up her fork and knife to cut a piece of her *yoko bird and sampled it. Considering it had come from the replicator, she very impressed by its strong flavor. Sometimes it’s difficult for the replicator to get the taste right, but this time it came out just right.

In addition to the meat, she also had some *bukeny, which is a vegetable similar to celery, but tastes more like a beet. This vegetable is almost always eaten with yoko bird and sometimes with *frill, which is a thin stringlike pasta that is very popular on New Fabrina.

After Luke had contacted her, Buster asked if she had wanted something to eat. She immediately agreed, since she really hadn’t had much to eat while they were on the mirror Tiger Shark. Because Fabrini food tends to be a little different from Terran food, she had to carefully explain what she wanted to eat while Buster copied it down on a PADD.

She was very pleased with what the replicator gave her and finished it in no time. When she was done, she rested again and waited for a visit from Luke. She couldn’t help but to wonder what was taking him so long, but shrugged it off. Instead, she tried to focus on what they had learned from Fern and about the technology that had been stolen from their ship. She wondered if Thirteen had finished with the interrogations and if he had learned anything new.

After a while she began to get sleepy and started to drift asleep. Eventually though, she just gave in and allowed herself to fall asleep. She didn’t sleep long though because she was woken up by Luke’s alarming message to sickbay.

“Security and medical...” she heard him stutter, “to my quarters.”

Her eyes widened as well as everyone else’s when they heard sobbing coming over the comm. system. She started to get up, but she quickly realized that the pain medicine had worn off while she had slept. Her hand immediately went to her comm. Badge. “Luke! What’s wrong?” she called.

She was alarmed when he didn’t answer. “Luke! Answer me!”

Luke could here a voice. He ignored it. He didnt ever want to hear anything again, he wanted it all to go away, he wanted Amy.

"Help..." Was all he could say. He wasnt sure wether the voice had heard him but he didnt care anymore.

J'Leera! She can help is mind was saying.

"J'Leera! It's Amy! The mirror, hes killed her...."

=^= OH GOD! Wait there Luke, keep still Ill come down with Buster and a team. Everything is going to be O.K. =^= She replied.

Bright light, a bright, hot-white glaring light and above all, a very sharp pain in his right leg were Danny's first sensations. "Where the hell am I?" was his first thought, closely followed by "What the hell am I doing here and why can't I move?"

Slowly but surely, Danny's vision improved and he could see he was in Sickbay. At the moment, he was alone. All alone with a lot of pain in his right leg. "Doc?" he called, not sure if anyone would hear him or not. When no-one replied, Danny started looking for the alarm button and he found it. "Well, if no-one's here, this seems like a good way to get them here. Let's see if I can get them here to give me some answers as to wat I'm doing here and what the hell happened to my leg," he said to himself right before pressing the button.

Buster came walking over to Danny.

"Ah I'm glad to see you are back to the world of the living too" Buster said, with a smile.

"What do you mean? Did I die or something?" Danny asked.

"No, but you weren't far from dying either, everything is going to be okay though. Don't worry" Buster answered. "How is your leg?"

"Quite painful" Danny said. "What happened?"

"Well, Fitzpatrick and you were looking for th..." Buster was interrupted by a communicator-call from someone that sounded an awful lot like Luke.

"Could you hang on a second?" Buster asked Danny. "I'll explain when I get back"

Danny didn't even have time to answer before Buster ran away, grabbing some medical supplies.

Buster was about to exit the room when J'Leera shouted to get Buster's attention, and she began running towards him.

"I'm coming too" J'Leera said.

"You need rest, I suggest you stay in bed. I'll handle this" Buster said. But when J'Leera refused, he didn't say anything else, exiting the sickbay and heading for Luke's quarters, letting J'Leera follow him.

When Buster was near Luke's quarters, he halted. "Should we wait for security?" he asked J'Leera.
But J'Leera didn't stop running. "No time" she replied. "Amy has been attacked by the mirrors".

Buster gasped and followed J'Leera into the quarters.

When they entered, they both gasped. Blood was everywhere. In the middle of the room was Amy. Next to her was Luke, who was holding her.

Luke barely looked up when Buster and J'Leera entered the room. Buster quickly kneeled next to Amy and grabbed some medical equipment. He scanned Amy. "She... she doesn't have any life signs".

Luke moved away from Amy, slowly, looking how Buster did his best trying to revive Amy. J'Leera sat down next to Luke and tried to comfort him without words...

J’Leera ran as best as she could down to the turbolift following the doctor. The reached Luke’s location within a few minutes and ran into the room. She came to a dead stop and gasped, trying not to scream at the sight that she saw. The room looked like someone had dumped blood on the floor and had smeared it around.

She saw Luke sitting on the floor, cradling Amy’s limp head in his arms. Buster went up to them immediately and began to check on Amy. The results were very bad.

Buster slowly looked up, “She…she doesn’t have any life signs.”

Luke nodded and moved away from her as Buster began to work on her and perhaps have her revived. He went some distance away from her and sat down. J’Leera went over and sat down next to him. She could barely break her gaze away from the horrific scenes, but she forced herself to look at Luke.

His eyes were locked on Amy’s still figure as Buster continued in his futile attempts to revive her. J’Leera could tell by the look in his eyes that he knew Buster’s attempts would fail and that Amy was already gone. He didn’t cry, but instead just starred off with his eyes beginning to glaze over.

J’Leera moved closer to him and placed a hand on his shoulder. “Luke?” she said gently, attempting to get his attention. “Luke?”

He didn’t answer, but instead continued starring at Buster and Amy.

J’Leera sighed and removed her hand. She had no experience in counseling and didn’t know what to do. I had better contact the counselor, she thought and tapped her comm. badge. “J’Leera to Commander Tiffani Savali. We have a situation in Luke’s quarters that requires your immediate attention. Could you please come down?”

*Tiffani had been asleep in Felix's arms when she got a sudden cold sensation over her,she set up in the bed just as she received in an incoming message from J'leera*

“J’Leera to Commander Tiffani Savali. We have a situation in Luke’s quarters that requires your immediate attention. Could you please come down?”

*she tapped her comm badge as she picked it p from the table* =/\= Lt cmr Savali here, i'll be their right away =/\=

*she did not bother waking Felix as he was sleeping peacefully instead she got dressed and made her way to Lukes Quarters as she got closer she could sense alot of pain, she tried to shrug the feelings away it was sometims hard being a half betazoid she could only imagine what it must be like to be fully betazoid, she soon arrived at Lukes quarters*

*she entered to find blood everywhere and Buster examining Amy's lifeless body* *She then looked and seen Luke starring off into space, frozen in fear*

What happened *questioned Tiffani not really needing an answer as she had a fairly good idea as to what* Has anyone informed the captain? *she questioned as she made her way over to Luke*

Luke *she said softly looking for a response*

When he heard this he was fully awake he jumped of the bed in surprise.

After he finished the talk with the captain he made his way down the corridor. He saw the security team standing there with Tiffani and J'Leera and Buster and Thirteen.

Tiffani was trying to comfort Luke. He took a look inside and saw blood splattered all around. Then he went over to Tiffani and Luke and silently suggested that she takes him somewhere quiet and help him as much as he can.

"Cmdr.", he said walking over to J'Leera

"What has happened here?", he asked

"I don't know, sir," J'Leera answered and took a deep breath to calm herself down. The sight of all the blood around her still make her very upset and she wanted to get out of there soon for breath of fresh air, but that would have to wait since the Commander wanted answers.

"I had just finished dinner when Luke called into sickbay requesting help," she continued. "When I tried to get into contact with him he didn't answer right away and I began to get nervous. Finally he did answer and he said, 'the mirror, he killed her."

Savali's eyes widened in shock. He knew that Amy meant a lot to Luke and he couldn't imagine what he must have been going through at the moment. He knew that he too would be upset if he were in Luke's position. He nodded at J'Leera to continue.

"Well, basically I came down with the doctor and a few members from the security team and found this," she pointed towards Amy and then turned around to wipe the tears from her eyes. She felt so aweful about it. Luke was a good friend of hers and to see him hurting like this hurt her too. She was also saddened by the fact that she barely got to know Amy.

"Commander?" Savali asked.

"What..?" she asked, spinning around. "Did you just call me Commander?" she asked in surprise, still wiping a few stray tears from her face. "I'm a Lieutenant, sir," she sniffed.

"Oh, I apologize," he said. "I thought that you had heard about your promotion. The Captain informed me earlier today."

"Oh..." was all she could say. Normally such news would have made her happy, but not today. "That's very nice."

Savali nodded slowly and turned to talk to the doctor.

Luke began to shake and then vomitted, narrowly missing Tiffini.

"Buster could you come over here please? To give Luke someting to calm him down and then I think we will find a spare room to have a chat." Tiffini said.

Buster walked over and forced a smile onto his face and administered a hypo to Luke's neck, the shaking stopped and Luke looked around. He glanced over to where Amy was being strpped to a stretcher and covered. He sobbed quietly, he soulders shaking again. Why was all he could think. Why?

"Luke. I tink we should go now. Lets go get a nice cup of tea and we can have a chat. Ok?" Tiffini said.

Luke just sat there. Staring at Amy's lifeless form.

"I...I...I can't leave her....not...not again. I....I left her before and now l..l..l..look at her..." Luke stammered.

"Luke this isn't your fault. You werent to know anything like this was going to happen. Come on lets move somewhere else." Tiffini said.

She was worried. Any person spending any amount of time in this room that was haunted by the stench of blood and vomit wold become mentally unstable, especially someone who had just lost someone close to them.

Luke just closed his eyes and sat silently.

"J'Leera! Would you come over here please and see if you can help?" Tiffini asked.

J'Leera cautiously moved over and sat next to Luke.

"Hey." She said. "Hey, its me J'Leera. Luke, remember me. I'm here to help." She didnt know what to say. She hadnt known Amy and so she didnt know the correct way to go about comforting him.

"Some one should contact her family and Luke's too." Tiffini said.

"I will do that." Savali said. It wasn't a pleasant job to tell family that their loved one has just died but this kind of thing came with the job. "As soon as everything is sorted here I'll make the call." He added. Savali turned to leave but sopped and crouched next to Luke.

"Mr. Dowding." He said. "Luke." Luke looked up and noticed the torn expression on the commanders face. "Everything will be o.k. You understand? This will be sorted out." He said and stood up.

"Yes Sir..." Was all Luke could mutter. Savali walked out of Luke's sight and the young Lt. closed his eyes again.

"Luke we should leave. How about you me and Tiffini go and find a nice empty room. Does that sound good?" J'Leera said.

"Yes..Yes maybe we could do that." Luke managed to say.

"Come on then." Tiffini said. "Lets go." And with the help of J'Leera and Tiffini Luke managed to get to is feet. He looked around the room and noticed Amy and Buster had gone.

Probably for the post mortem he tought and shudderd violently again.

"It's O.k Luke. It's O.k" was all J'Leera could say.

In Luke's absence, Rye had been ordered to take the helm. The ship now travelled at Warp 8, to return to Starbase Bellicose as soon as possible. The base had better medical facilities than the TS, so it was hoped that the Starbase would be able to save Amy.

Rye enjoyed being at the helm. It felt natural. Almost as natural as being an engineer. He glanced at the monitors, and hit a few controls for different systems.

"Lieutenant. When will we arrive at Bellicose?" Savali said, as he quickly stepped on the bridge.

"We will be in transporter range in 7 minutes. I've fed the co-ordinates of the Medical Bay, and sent a message ahead informing them of our arrival." Rye said

"Good." Savali said. He looked down for a moment, and stepped back in the turbolift.

"Buster here, go ahead."

"Buster, we'll be at base in about 6 minutes, we'll transport Amy to the Medical bay immediately.

Before leaving the room. Luke pulled away from J'Leera and went to cupboard to the left of his quaters and removed a small box from inside it, he opened it up and Luke down inside. A ring glittered from its ruby case. The ring he had planned to give to Amy after Tiffini's and Felix wedding, Luke had planned to propose. Funny how things change and can never be changed back. Luke closed the lid. He walked over to J'Leera and Tiffini again and nodded silently. He was ready to leave and he never wanted to come back to this dreadful room.

*as the three left the room and headed to the Counselors office where the 3 could sit and talk in private she watched as he grabbed a small box from the cubboard she knew that it had sentimental value and it was why he had grabbed it, She nodded* Lets go then

*They 3 arrived soon at Tiffani's office, the entered and she motioned for them both to take a seat* Please feel free to make yourself at home *she gave a warm smile* Do you want anything to drink? *She questioned curiously*

Luke shook his head to Tiffinis request. He didnt feel like he could swallow anything. His throat felt inflamed and he could harly breath, its just the shock he told himself.

She smiled at him but Luke could not return the gesture, he merely looked at his feet and noticed that his trousers that were usully spotless were soaked in a dark crimson. blood he thought her blood and he began to shake again. But it wasnt just the thought of Amy's blood that made him shake, his leg wound from the previous mission was hurting again. Forgetting anyone else was in the room, he slowly rolled up the leg of his trousers and was dismayed to see the leg had bruised again and was slowly swelling up. The familiar pain beginning to resurface.

"Luke. Your leg. Are you alright?" Tiffini asked.

"I...I...I must of..of twisted it and opened the wound again when I...I.. when i found her lying there." He said.

"We should get the doctor to have a look after he has seen to A.." J'Leera but realising her mistake almost to late.

Luke didnt seem to notice and merely continued to look at his feet.

"May I get a fresh uniform?" Luke muttered.

"Yes of course Luke, theres a replicator over there and a spare room next door, come in when your ready." Tiffini said.

Luke went to the replicator and recieved a fresh uniform he went to the next room and collapsed to the floor, breathing hard he began to sob and curled up tightly hugging the now blood soaked new uniform, wishing it all away, wishing it was Amy he was hugging, wishing his leg would stop the eternal aching, wishing, just wishing....
