=^= The time is 0600. The time is 0600. The time is 0600 =^=
"Alright! Im up!" Luke yelled.
He was exhausted. He had finally managed to drop off at around 0500. He got up and went about his normal morning business although many times he fell over his own feet. After gulping down a cup of tea, scorching his throat, and attempting to eat some breakfast Luke headed for Astrometrics. On the long walk from his quaters Luke noticed the faces on the crew, the long and scared faces. Their faces asked a queston. Is there really a killer onboard?
Arriving at Astrometrics the lights flickered on and Luke yelled. The entire room had been trashed. Luke ran over to the placed where he had left the circuit blocker, it was gone.
"NO!" He cried and sank to his knees. Why had he been so stupid to leave it there?
=^= Lt. Cmdr Dowding to Security =^=
No response. Luke rose to his feet.
=^= Dowding to Security =^=
Again silence.
"Computer what is wrong witht the comm system?"
No reply. Luke panicked he headed for the doors and pressed the release.
Nothing
They were locked
He spun round, he was sure he heard something. Moving over to a broken console he picked up a broken piece of metal and held it out at arms length.
Something moved behind him, he swung round and the metal collided with a broken console. A discharge went soaring up his arm and he immediately lost conciousness.

=/\= Laika to Greenvalley. Could you meet me in the science lab? We have some scans that need recalibrating and I could use assistance. =/\= As well as some company, she thought to herself.
=/\= I'll be right over. =/\=
Andrew put down his tea and went to the nearest turbolift in a hustle. The computer beeped in acknowledgement when he ordered it to bring him to the science lab.
When he arrived he got out, straigthened his collar and entered the science lab.
J'Leera looked up: ''Hi,'' she said with a sad smile.
''Hi,'' Andrew returned, ''are you feeling okay?''
J'Leera nodded, but it wasn't very convincing.
Andrew walked over to her and put his hand on her shoulder. ''Why don't you go get some sleep, I'll manage recalibrating the sensors.''
''Thanks, but I want to help.''
''You sure?''
''Yeah.''
Andrew took a seat next to J'Leera. Her eyes still looked watery and slightly red.
''We'll find whoever did this,'' Andrew said braking the silence, ''I may not be stationed on this starship, but I'll do everything I can to help.''
The recalibration took about half an hour.
When they were done J'Leera sighed and leaned back in her chair.
''It's not fair, is it,'' she said. ''What is?'' Andrew asked.
''That some people dare taking other people's lives.''
Andrew nodded. ''Yeah.''
They sat in silence for a few more minutes.
''Come, let me escort you to your quarters,'' Andrew said looking at J'Leera, who looked even more tired than before. ''Alright.''
They got up, and together they walked out of the science lab. Arriving at J'Leera's quarters she turned to Andrew. ''Thanks,'' she said. ''For what?'' he asked. ''For your assistance...'' ''Oh that was-'' ''And your company...''
''You're welcome,'' Andrew smiled, ''now go get some rest, you've deserved a good night of sleep.''
J'Leera entered her quarters, and the doors hissed shut.
Andrew turned around, and decided to take the long route to his quarters.
Arriving there he took a sonic shower, after which he threw himself on his bed, causing instant sleep.
Tomorrow the investiagtions would start. This was going to be time of hard work, very hard work.

Danny was on hs way to Counselor Savali's office when he received the call.
=^=Dowding to Security=^=
=^Löhnen here, go ahead Commander=^=
There was no answer. Strange, Danny thought. Again there was the call, now from a rather frantic sounding Commander Dowding.
=^=Dowding to Security, come in Security=^=
=^=I'm right here Commander, go ahead.=^=
There was no response. Danny tapped the nearest pannel on the wall. "Computer, wat is wrong with the com system?" *Nothing is wrong with the com system Lieutenant* "Computer, why can I hear Lieutenant Commander Dowding and why can't he hear me?" *Unable to process, not enough information. Danny started getting angry and nervous now. Dowding had called for help and he couldn't find out. "Computer, locate Lieutenant Commander Dowding." *Lieutenant Commander Dowding is is is is is is is is is*
Danny saw the powersurge coming just in time and he ducked away as the malfunctioning computer panel exploded. "BLAST!" Danny rolled away, got to his feet and started running. There were only so many places Luke Dowding could be.
=^=Löhnen to Bridge=^=
=^Savali here=^=
=^=Commander, is Lieutenant Commander Dowding on the Bridge?=^=
=^=No, he said he went to Astrometics. Why? Is there a problem?=^=
=^=No time to explain now sir, meet me in Astrometrics immediately. Löhnen out.=^=
Danny started sprinting towards Engineering.
=^=Löhnen to Engineering. Commander Fitzpatrick, I need you in Astrometrics right away. Take an emergency Engineering kit with you.=^=
Danny finally reached Astrometrics and, as he feared, the doors were locked. "Computer open the doors" *Unable to comply* "Computer, open the doors, Authorization Löhnen 3993 Red". *Unable to comply* "Computer, why can't you open the doors?"
There was only silence.......
<TAG: Savali, Fitzpatrick, Dowding and anyone else interested> Counselor, I'll be in your office as soon as we've cleared this up.

****The next morning****
In the dark messhall, Wood was recuperating over a cup of coffee. He had been shooting holographic targets, and later aliens. And at the end, he was shooting holographic killers..
"Computer, time?"
*The time is 06 20 hours.*
Wood had been up all night, not a minute of sleep since Thirteen was brutally murdered. He stood up and walked towards sickbay.
****Sickbay****
Buster and Wood exchanged greeting looks, while maintaining a look of sadness and defeat.
"I will be able to move Thirteen at 8 00, Commander"
"Good. The sooner he gets a proper final resting place instead of a closet, the better."
While speaking those words, the security officers walked in.
"Now, if you will excuse me." Nodded the beaten Commander. It was as if he underwent a total change as soon as he stood in front of the forensic experts.
"All right. As you all have learned, no murderer can leave his or her victim at the crime scene without a hint of evidence that leads us into his or her direction. We will find that evidence, and we will find it soon!"
"Johanson, search for energy particles. I want to know which weapon he used, and if Thirteen was transported there, I want to know from where and by whom. Andrews, Rogerson. Molecular evidence. DNA. That should say enough. Dismissed."

Please i keep getting confused on who is talking to who Would it also be all right to refer to you or to hail you as Counselor Savali (like in my previous posts) since it would perhaps be awkward to tap a combadge and ask for Mrs Savali. That way it would be Commander Savali for Felix and Counselor Savali for you. It would be more in line with Starfleet Protocols I think. Let me know what you think all right. DL

Andrew yawned and strechted his arms. He got out of bed and replicated a healthy breakfast.
After putting some clothes on and finishing his food Andrew got out of his quarters and went on his way to the astrometrics lab, where he'd assist in conducting research to sensor logs.
Andrew raised an eyebrow when he arrived at the lab and saw the amount of people in front of the door. Fitzpatrick seemed to be busy with trying to get the door open.
''Goodmorning,'' Andrew greeted as he approached, ''what seems to be the problem.''
Savali briefly explained the situation.
''Great. As if we didn't have enough on our hands already,'' Greenvalley said.
It took Rye another ten minutes before the doors finally started moving.
The security team busted in, and found an unconcious Luke on the floor.
Andrew entered, and kneeled besides mister Dowding.
''For as far as my medical knowledge goes I'd say mister Dowding smashed a console with the iron piece of wreckage he's holding in his hand, and the energyburst caused by that action found a way to mister Dowding via the piece of metal , knocking him unconcious,'' Andrew said.
The burn stains on Luke's arm confirmed Greenvalley's story.
Andrew say that Felix's mind'd wandered off.
''Mister Savali?'' Andrew asked.
''Oh yes, my apologies,'' Felix said snapping to his senses, ''get mister Dowding to sickbay.''
The security officers picked up Luke, and brought him to sickbay.
''I can hardly believe that mister Dowding did this,'' Savali said.
''I'm afraid he is the most likely subject. We literally found him here with a significant piece of metal in his hand,'' Andrew said.
Savali nodded slightly. ''Perhaps recent events became too much for mister Dowding. We'll conduct a research. I'll schedule a session with my wife for Luke.''
''Your research concerning the pulsar will not continue on this ship,'' Savali said to Greenvalley. ''I understand, but atleast let me help with the research on lieutenant Thirteen's death.''
Felix nodded. ''Of course. Mister Fitzpatrick try and get astrometrics back together. Mister Greenvalley, if you want to, see if you can get some consoles booted and perform a sensor scan on what happened here. I think that this is directly related to lieutenant Thirteen's murder.''
''I will,'' Andrew said, ''I'll contact commander Laika and ask if she'll assist me.''
''Alright,'' Felix said, ''I'll get to sickbay and see if mister Downding is adressable.''
=/\= Tiffani meet me in sickbay, =/\= Felix said as he walked away from the scene.
Andrew looked around in the astrometrics lab. Fitzpatrick was working hard, and had managed to boot a console already.
Andrew turned to Rye. ''How long do you thing it'll take to get most things operational again?''

As soon as J’Leera reached the bed, she collapsed on it and was asleep almost instantly. The rest was sorely needed, but it didn’t keep her from dreaming. All throughout the night, all she could think about was seeing Thirteen dead. Even though she didn’t actually see his body, she still imagined it. Every time the image appeared, it looked different as if her mind was trying to figure out what killed him by going over the possibilities.
Finally when she awoke, she found herself on the floor with the blanket entangled around her. She slowly untied the cloth and stumbled over to the replicator and requested coffee with milk. She took the drink and sat down at the table nearby, starring into the mug. After a while she drank it and tried to forget her dreams. She couldn’t though. They were too vivid.
“Computer, time?”
“This time is 0700,” the computer responded.
“Hmm…better get ready then,” she yawned and went off to the shower.
A half an hour later, she came out dressed and ready to go. On her way out the door, she replicated a soft roll with jam to eat for breakfast. She then got on her way down to astrometrics to seek how the scans were coming along.
Just as soon as she had reached the corrider, Mr. Greenvalley contacted her. =/\= Greenvalley to miss Laika, could you meet me in the astrometrics lab? Something has occured and your assistance on the case would be apreciated . =/\=
Instead of answering him, she went straight into the lab and walked behind him. “I’m right here,” she said.
He nearly jumped, “Well, that was fast,” he said, turning around from the console.
As he did, J’Leera noticed the damage. She gasped, “What happened here?”
“We think that Luke did it,” he sighed. “We found him this morning near the console with a large piece of metal in his hand. Whatever he did caused an explosion, which rendered him unconscious. He’s been taken to sickbay. And he’ll be okay, “ he added when he saw J’Leera’s shocked look.
“Well,” she said. “We had better get to work shouldn’t we?” she asked, clearly alarmed, but attempting to focus. “What have you found so far?”
“Well the sensors have been recalibrating and I had them scanning the ship all night. Let’s pull up the display and see what the computer has found.”
“How much will it show though? The lab looks like a wreck!”
“I know, but not everything was damaged,” he acknowledged. “I’d still like to see if anything survived. Then after that, we can start an investigation on what happened here last night.”
“Of course,” she nodded and went to work.
Off to the side, Rye was mumbling about the state some of the equipment was in. Whatever happened, it was going to take a while to fix it all.
“Hey, look at this,” Mr. Greenvalley pointed at one of the consoles, which was barely operational. A small blip appeared in the center of the screen indicating a foreign object on the screen.
“What is it?” J’Leera asked, coming over for a closer look.
“I don’t know,” he answered, trying to select it. “The computer won’t go any further than this. It was able to locate the object, but couldn’t identify it, nor pinpoint its location. We’ve got to get this equipment running again for a more thorough scan!”
“I know, I’m working on it,” they heard Rye grumble.
J’Leera went to one of the cabinets and pulled out a tricorder. She turned it on and began to scan the room. After going over everything, she put it down. “I didn’t find anything unusual here,” she sighed.

Luke regained conciousness briefly and heard banging on the door. He tried to speak but couldn't find the strength. He lifted his head which was a foolish thing to do as he felt the pain flood through his body. He glanced around the Astreometrics lab and grimaced. Who would do this? His vision dimmed again as he fell into uncousiousness.
"GET AWAY FROM ME!!!!!!!!!!! DONT TAKE HER!!!!!!!!!" Luke cried and wrestled with the sheets in sickbay.
Buster hurried over to the bed and tried to calm Luke.
"Luke, It's Buster, everythings alright. You're in sickbay. Take it easy friend." He said.
Commander and Councellor Savali walked into the room and looked at Luke.
"How are you Luke?" Tiffini asked.
"I...I... The astrometrics lab...there was a person there...in there with me...when i arrived the place was trashed... i heard something... movement...." Luke stopped.
"It's alright Mister Dowding. Take your time" Felix said.
"I am afraid we are going to have to ask you spme questions." Tiffini said quietly
Luke sughed. They thought he had done it, after all he had been at the scene of the crime with a possible weapon in his hand. It didn't look good. But surely they wouldn't believe he was capable of such a thing... surely...

The blip still showed up on the console.
''Strange,'' Andrew said.
He gave the console a few commands which were returned with an 'unable to process, not enough system memory available' messege.
Andrew sighed. ''Technology is a great thing... If it works...''
The repairs went slowly, greatly because of the mess that made everything very disordered.
''I'll be right back,'' Andrew told J'Leera. She nodded.
He got out of the astrometrics lab and went to engineering.
''Ensign, would you happen to be able to get me a isolinear material sampler?'' Andrew asked an engineer.
''My apologies sir, but I have never seen you before.''
''My name's Andrew Greenvalley, the so called mission specialist. I came here to assist in the research for the pulsar star. But since that stopped due to lieutenant Thirteen's death I'll be helping in the research.''
The ensign nodded, and came back with IMS.
''Thanks,'' Andrew said as he turned and went back to astrometrics.
J'Leera was still busy with a console, but looked a bit frustrated.
''Is it working?'' Andrew asked. ''Yeah it is, but not in the way I want it to.''
''Hey, you got an IMS, good idea,'' J'Leera said. ''I hope so,'' Andrew acknowledged.
He activated the device, and the screen turned into a chaos of colors and markings.
''Ehm, that's not really good,'' Andrew muttered.
''You want to try that button,'' J'Leera said looking over his shoulder.
The screen cleared. ''Ah yes, now I remember.''
He entered a few commands, and filtered all normal objects in the astrometrics.
''It is not giving a blip, or anything unusual,'' Andrew said handing the IMS to J'Leera.
''Hmm,'' she said, ''strange...''
''Perhaps the console is malfunctioning, and therefore showing things that aren't there,'' Andrew noted.
''Perhaps... But maybe the IMS isn't capable of detecting, and the ship's internal sensors are,'' J'Leera said.
''You've got a point,'' Andrew acknowledged.
''Rye,'' he called over, ''could you have a look at this console first.''
''Sure, why not,'' Fitzpatrick exclaimed, sounding annoyed.
While Rye was busy fixing the console Andrew walked over to J'Leera.
''Ehm, J'Leera,'' he began, ''would you be interested in having dinner with me tonight?''

Rye was sitting in engineering, with a cup of coffee, and a PADD in hand. Rye had been busy recalibrating the quantum flux stabilizer all night, and he was going to get off duty in abot 15 mnutes.
(=/\=)"Löhnen to Engineering. Commander Fitzpatrick, I need you in Astrometrics right away. Take an emergency Engineering kit with you."(=/\=)
Rye was worried. Was there another murder? Rye took a kit and a phaser, and ran down to astrometrics. When he arrived he saw Lohnen and Cmdr. Savali standing outside the door.
"Rye, get this door open, now...hurry Luke is inside!"
Rye got to work immediately, and used his phaser to cut trough the door, however, there was something blocking it. Rye took out a quantum regulator, and shunted power to the door to get it open. It took him 10 minutes, but he got it. As the door opened, Rye smelled burning plastic, and saw nothing but destructtion. Everyone rushed into the lab, where they found Luke lying on the ground with a large piece of metal.
"Mister Fitzpatrick try and get astrometrics back together."
"Aye, sir."
Rye got to work and surveyed the damage. The entire lab had been trashed, and Rye found it hard to believe that Luke had done all of that.
''How long do you thing it'll take to get most things operational again?''[/color] Andrew asked.
Rye looked around for a minute, and turned back to Andrew. "Well, with everyone helping me, I may be able to get it up in about two weeks. I'll need to replicate half a dozen consoles and rebuild the Astrometric Computer."
Andrew looked dismayed, but he nodded, and turned away. With that, Rye began to get a console online, which he did with relative ease. he wanted to get the foundation back up, so Rye continued to get other things fixed. He was then summoned to Greenvalley and J'leera, where he was required to help bring a console back online. So Rye went to work on this.
(=/\=)"Fitzpatrick to Nguyen, Hoang and Thompson. Please report to Astrometrics to assist with repairs."(=/\=)

OFF: Just a small reply to some of the tags I was given. I know I should have done this much earlier, and I'm really sorry. "Mr. Buster, please conduct an autopsy on lieutenant Thirteen’s body, and try to determine the exact cause of death and the weapon used.", Savali said. "Aut- .. Autopsy. Yes... Yes sir." Buster mumbled. Buster was still not really able to believe that Thirteen was dead now. An autopsy on Thirteen was going to be even harder... -------------------------------------------------- Buster was preparing for the autopsy on Thirteen. Although it was his job, he didn't like it at all. Especially an autopsy on a former friend. Buster was determined to find out whoever killed Thirteen. His mind was racing, and he couldn't concentrate fully at times. Who could have killed Thirteen? And why? Thirteen was an ex-borg. He was very polite and certainly wasn't the person to give you a reason to kill him. Maybe he was just at the wrong place on the wrong time? -------------------------------------------------- A short while later Buster was in the cargobay. Attending the meeting. He listened to Savali's speech and just quietly nodded at times. He still wasn't able to think clear. "Anything new to report mr. Lohnen, mr. Buster?", Savali asked. "No sir", Buster answered. "I haven't had much time yet. I'll try to find out what the exact cause of death was. I have everything prepared, but I haven't started yet. So nothing worth mentioning yet." Savali nodded and turned to mr. Lohnen. A while later Wood walked up to Buster. "Lieutenant" he said. "I will be conducting the forensic exam, so we will have to coordinate the investigation. When will you be starting the autopsy?" "Well, like I said, I have everything prepared and I'm about to start. If I find anything interesting I'll be sure to report it to you". Buster answered.

“Dinner tonight? Sure, I’d love to!” she answered, hoping the distraction would take her mind off of what had happened to Thirteen. “Would you like me to bring anything?”
“No, that’s okay,” he shook his head. “I can manage it.”
“Well then, hopefully we can make some progress with these scans or dinner will be very late tonight,” she said and turned back to the console.
Underneath one of the consoles, she heard Rye bang his head on the underside. “Oww!” he yelled.
“You okay?” she asked looking underneath.
“Yeah,” he mumbled. “I can’t get this equipment to work that’s all. Whatever happened, it sure messed it really bad.”
“Well, keep working on it,” she answered getting back to her work. “If it makes you feel any better, we haven’t found anything yet either.”
Two Hours Later
“I’ve got it!” she exclaimed.
“What?” Greenvalley jumped up from his console and ran over. As soon as he saw the screen, he grinned. “Finally!” he breathed a sigh of relief.
“I’ve finally manage to locate the object once Rye got it to work properly. According to this, the object is located in one of the shuttle crafts,” she pointed. “We should check this out further.”
“Why don’t you just do a more detailed scan?” he asked.
“Well, normally I would, but the computer’s not completely repaired yet, so we’re going to have to do this ourselves.”
“Then, let’s get on it,” Greenvalley said as they both began to get their tricorders and sample containers.

"Now mr. Dowding, do you remember what exactly happened it the Astrometry lab after you arrived there?", Felix asked
"I was going down to Astrometrics to scan an object I had found in the nav. systems. This appears to be what the problem was with the nav.systems."
"Ok, then tell us what happened."
"I walked through the doors and found the room to be trashed. The doors closed behind me and I called security. There was no answer so I tried to leave the room but the doors had locked themselves and they were not accepting my codes. I heard a movement behind me but could see nothing because the lights were dim."
"I see, and you are sure you did not recognize this person, and that it was really there?", Felix asked while looking at Tiffani who was trying to sense if Luke really did see someone there.
"I couldnt see anyone, I just heard someone. I AM NOT IMAGINING THIS!"
"Of course, no need to get upset, we just need to check it all since as you are aware the situation as we found it was like you Trashed the lab, but no need to worry i don't think you did it", Felix said.
"Thank you Sir. I am sorry for my outburst."
“Do you happen to remember how that piece of metal ended up in your hand and what you did when you lost conciseness? “, Felix asked
"I picked up the piece of metal to defend myself. I knew someone was there and after Lt. Thirteens murder I was a little on edge. I swung round when I heard something behind me, I must have hit a console or something because thats the last thing I remember." Luke said.

Danny had gone to his office. Lieutenant Commander Dowding had been brought to Sickbay and Commander and Counselor Savali were holding a preliminary meeting with him before Danny would take over and interrogate Dowding. Strange, Danny thought. There had been a look of terror on Dowding's face, yet there was no-one else in the room. Still, Danny could have sworn there were sounds coming from Astrometrics just minutes before the doors had opened. It couldn't have been Dowding, since he had already been unconscious.....
"Computer, display all sensor logs of both the internal and the external sensors on a split screen." The viewscreen flashed to life and Danny started sifting through the data. So far, there was nothing unusual. He would have to ask Commander Laika to keep scanning. Danny started wondering whether Dowding could have imagined things or not, but still, Danny had heard something coming from the Astrometrics lab. Could it be nerves? The crew was certainly on edge and everyone, especially the Senior Staff, was suffering from a severe lack of sleep. Just to be on the safe side, Danny had posted Marines to guard all vital systems and he had also ordered Security teams to patrol all corridors of the ship continuously. Better safe than sorry was his motto.
So far, Danny hadn't really had time to think about Thirteen's death. Until now, it had been a case. His brain had simply taken over from his feelings to ensure that the necessary work was done, but now that Danny was alone, tears slowly came to his eyes. "Damn it! why did this have to happen? It's one thing to lose a comrade in battle, but it's quite another if he is murdered on his own ship during a science mission! This shouldn't be. Why?" As in answer of his desparate rhetorical questions, the comlink bleeped.
=^=Savali to Löhnen=^=
Danny wiped his eyes and pulled himself back together. Again the comlink beeped.
=^=^Savali to Löhnen=^=
=^=Löhnen here Commander=^=

::Tiffani had been enjoying her meal when she got the call to head to sickbay, she sighed nodded to the waitress and made her way to the turbolift, she knew that emotions were high but she did not expect to feel so dizzy as she started to exit the lounge one of the crewmen standing nearby caught Tiffani by the arm::
Crewman Hawkins: "Ma'am You alright?"
"yes, im fine just a little light headed i guess, thank you though" Replied Tiffani
Crewman hawkins: "no problem" He replied
::Tiffani continued on shaking the feeling away she would make note to speak to the doctor about getting something to subdue things a bit, as she arrived in sickbay Cmdr Savali and a few others were already gathered their'::
::she nodded to them to go ahead and begin::
::She listened as Savali began asking Mr Downing questions, it was hard for her to stay concentrated but she managed to keep focused shaking her head or nodding when she felt that he wasn't telling the whole truth::
(OOC: a small post to get things going more, and Crewman Hawkins can be used as a NPC if so desired)

Felix stopped talking as Danny walked throught the doors. Luke groaned, more questions. These ones would be put on record, Danny being the acting CTSO.
"Luke, how are you feeling?" Danny asked
Luke sighed. "A little light headed and woosy, but Im fine."He said.
"I am afraid there are going to be more questions." Danny said.
"Fire away." Luke said. "I'll tell you exactly what I told Commander and Councellor Savali."

- Sickbay -
Danny sighed. He didn't really want to put Luke through this again, especially given his present condition, but he didn't really have a choice. "Well, let's start from the beginning. You walked into the Astrometrics Lab and then what" Danny asked. "Well, it was like feeling a presence, you know, like someone's watching you," Luke answered. "It was really scary."
Danny looked at him closely, straining all his empathic senses, but he couldn't pick up anything that looked like deceit. Luke believed every word he said. Behind him, he sensed Counselor Savali agreeing with him in the assesment. "Was there someone watching you Commander?" Danny continued. "Well, yes, I think. Yes there was. It wasn't someone visible, but there definately was a presence of some kind. It was like, like, I don't know but I definately wasn't alone in that Lab" Luke said, still sure of himself but unable to put into words exactly what it was he had sensed. Danny looked at Counselor Savali and still she cnfirmed Luke believed every word of what he was saying. "Excuse us for a moment Commander. Counselor, could I talk to you for a second? "Sure, we can use the CMO's office" she replied.
- CMO's Office -
"Counselor, I think he believes every word he's saying. "yes, I agree. He's definately telling us what he saw, " Counselor Savali replied, "the question is, did he really see something or were his nerves clouding his judgement?" "I had thought about that too Counselor, but he seems awfully sure of himself. I can't rule out anything at the moment and given the situation with Thirteen, there is a possibility something truly is wandering the corridors" "At any rate," Counselor Savali replied, "I think we should give Mr Dowding some rest for the day. I think we should come back and resume the interrogation tomorrow or the rest could be too much for him." "Agreed Counselor."
Danny and Counselor Savali wished Luke the very best and told him to get some rest. Danny stationed two guards outside of Sickbay to make sure the potential entity that had attacked Luke in the Astrometrics Lab could not reach him and also to make sure Luke wouldn't go wandering the corridors himself.

As Luke's visitors left sickbay, Luke got up and straightened hsi hair. He replicated a fresh uniforma nd was just about to leave when Buster stopped him.
"Where do you think you're going?" He asked.
"There is work that is needed to be done." Luke replied.
"They can manage without for a while. Physically and Psycologically you've been through a hell of a lot recently. You need rest, not work." Buster said.
"Buster, please let me help with this." Luke pleaded.
"You may have a higher rank than me Luke, but I am the CMO of this ship, and I say you are not fit for duty."
"I know when I feel alright Buster! Me sitting around here is not going to do good for anyone!"
"Except yourself." Buster added.
Luke turned and left the sickbay and walked straight into the secuirty officer Danny had placed there.
"Can I help you Commander?" The officer asked.
"No" sighed Luke. "I'm fine" and he turned back round and entered sickbay again.
"I am sorry Buster. I'll try and be more of a co-operative patient." Luke said.
"No need for apologies Luke! Your under pressure and you have just been atacked, I think I would be a little jumpy if that had happened to me. If you want something to do then I can contact Rye or J'Leera to see if there is anything you can do here, under my supervision of course." Buster said.
"Yes, that would be good. Thanks." Luke replied.

Andrew was glad J'Leera had accepted his invitation. He always liked company when having dinner.
With their equiment ready J'Leera and Andrew exitted the astrometrics lab and found their way to the nearest turbolift.
Andrew had downloaded the information from the console to a padd, including the exact coordinates of the object in the shuttlecraft.
They arrived at shuttlebay two, and the doors hissed open.
They walked over to the shuttle, and took out their tricorders. Andrew entered the coordinates in his, and then gave them to J'Leera who entered them too.
The beeping sounds of the tricorders sounded. J'Leera walked over to the shuttle and said: ''It's inside.''
Andrew nodded, and he opened a small hatch next to the door that gave access to the shuttle. He typed a few commands and with a sigh the door opened.
J'Leera entered the shuttle and continued scanning.
''I wonder what it is,'' Andrew said, ''and what the hell it's doing inside a shuttle.''
''Hey,'' J'Leera called. ''What?'' Andrew asked. ''Look,'' she showed him her tricorder, ''it's scrambled.''
She was right. The blip of the object flung itself over the screen like a madman.
Andrew looked at his tricorder, but it showed the same thing.
''This is most certainly strange,'' Andrew said.
Then the blip disappeared. J'Leera gave Andrew a questioning look.
''Now what?'' Andrew asked.

Luke was getting bored. There was only so many times you could count the tiles on the ceiling, and besides he kept getting a different number everytime.
=^= Lasel to Luke =^=
Luke tapped his comm badge. "Go ahead Jeret."
=^= We have a transmission from Earth awaiting your immediate response =^=
Buster looked up from where he was working. "You may use my office if you like Luke."
Luke thanked Buster and told Jeret to send the transmission to the CMO's office. Luke walked through the doors and sat down behind the desk. His father appeared on the screen. Luke groaned. What could he want?
Hiss father simply nodded. Luke decided that he was going to have to start this off.
"Hello father, I trust you are well?"
"Yes I am very good Luke. You look healthy, that is good." He replied.
"OK, enough of the pleasantries. Its great to here from you but I doubt you've called just for a casual chat." Luke said, perhaps more sharply than he should of done.
"You are right. I do not have much time anyway. We must leave soon."
"We?" Luke asked.
"Yes me and my new friend. Giga."
"Who? Where are you going?" Luke was getting frustrated now.
"Giga is an Android of similar design to Commander Data. Myself and him are travelling to Bellicose. He has decided to enrol in Starfleet and I thought it would be good if you two got to know each other." His father.
"You can't just..." Luke started.
"Do not worry, everything is sorted. We will see you soon." He said and the screen went dark, END OF TRANSMISSION flashed upon the screen.
Luke sighed. This was typical of his father. Now he was dreading the Tiger Shark's return to Bellicose.

“Now what?” she looked at Mr. Greenvalley. “We’ll just have to do this the old fashion way then,” she said and clipped the tricorder onto her belt. With a look of determination on her face, she made her way over to the shuttlecraft and climbed inside. She looked back over her shoulder. “Coming?”
“Right behind you!” he called. Seconds later he was standing next to her and looking around the cramped cockpit. “Hmm….where do we begin?”
“Well, you can check the back while I go underneath these panels,” she pointed. “I probably know more about these operating systems than you do…no offence.”
“None taken,” he answered and went to look. “Shout if you need me…”
3 Hours Later
J’Leera slumped wearily next to the ripped out console starring into it. Mr. Greenvalley came up and looked at it. “Didn’t find anything did you?”
She just shook her head. “All of that work for nothing,” she mumbled.
“Well, don’t give up,” he tried to encourage her. “We might find something yet.”
“We’ve been over this entire shuttlecraft. Not once, not twice, but three times!” she exclaimed. “If someone were hiding something here, they sure did do a good job.”
“Of course,” he nodded. “We should get back to the lab then and continue looking. Perhaps Fitzpatrick’s team has the equipment fixed. As he stood up to leave, he suddenly tripped over a slight bend in the flooring. When J’Leera had originally inspected it, she couldn’t find anyway to pry the tiling up, so she went elsewhere. However, when she saw what tripped him, she lunged forward excitedly and jammed a loose piece of metal that she had found earlier into it. The tile came up easily and revealed a little niche.
“Well, what do you know?” he said, peering down into the hole. “Now, how did we miss that?”
“I don’t know,” J’Leera said and grabbed a small light. She pointed it down the hole and they both looked. They were shocked at what they saw. It was a knife.

Andrew raised his eyelids. ''A knife? How primitive.''
''Yet effective,'' J'Leera sighed.
''I'll fetch a containment unit, I'll be right back,'' Andrew said as he hurried off.
He came back and microtransported the knife into the containment unit.
''We should have it examined for fingerprints,'' Andrew said.
''I don't think the subject will have been stupid enough to leave fingerprints on a weapon, but let's try it anyway.''
They walked out of the cargobay and went to sickbay where Buster nodded at them in greet.
''We'll just be using your biological scanner,'' Andrew said as he walked over to the device.
J'Leera placed the containment unit on the platform, and activated the device, which began scanning the object for biological signals.
''Negative,'' J'Leera sighed, ''none detected.''
''Let's see if the cargobays sensor logs will clear anything up,'' Andrew yawned stretching his arms.
''Perhaps we should call it a day, I've had quite enough for one day,'' J'Leera said.
''Good plan,'' Andrew supported, ''I'll give the knife to Danny, see if he can do something with it.''
''Alright,'' J'Leera said, ''I'll go and take a shower, and put on something else. Shall I be at your quarters in about an hour?''
''Sounds perfect, see you then,'' Andrew smiled.
After walking past Danny and handing him the knife, Andrew went to his quarters and dressed up as well, after which he prepared dinner.
Two lit candles stood on the table which was neatly covered with the nessercary crockery. A bottle of Andrew's favourite white wine stood on the table as well as two crystal wine glasses.
At the time they had agreed to meet, the door of his quarters chimed.
''Come in,'' Andrew said.
