OFF: As some off you know, this is not the next mission I had planned... however several unforseen circumstances mean that mission is just too complicated to do at the moment... so instead something a little easier, but hopefully just as interesting... I'm hoping to see activity picking up around here a little, so come on, make an old Admiral proud!
ON: KezTrek glanced thought the various reports that had come in over the last day, all systems checked out, a few upgrades were currently being completed and Lt Mrad was putting his marines through rigorous training. She'd a feeling it was going to take some work to lighten him up, get him to relax the regime a little. She was all for training, but there was such as thing as too much.
"Admiral a call is coming through from Admiral Magellan," her comm chirped.
"Put it though," KezTrek said, turning to her screen. "Admiral, to what do I owe the pleasure."
"A slight change of plans," Magellan said. "Have you ever heard of Doctor Artim Jiral?"
"Cardassian Physicist. He was a turncoat during the Federation war with the Dominion, he sold out the location of several enemy positions in exchange for asylum. Worked at the Vulcan Science Institute for three years, until he was institutionalised." KezTrek said.
"He was diagnosed with a form of paranoid schizophrenia, or at least what passes for it, in Cardassians, incurable, but mostly treatable. Three days ago he escaped from the care facility he was in on Earth, one of the Doctor's there is concerned, one of his projects on Vulcan was classified, so classified even I can't find out what it was, but they are worried he'll return to Vulcan and destroy or disrupt the work they are doing there," Magellan said.
"And you need someone to find him, stop him and keep the Vulcan's from going loop-de-loo over it all," KezTrek said.
"I need someone who'll think of Doctor Jiral's interests, not just the bottom line," Magellan told her. "And to keep the Vulcan's from going loop-de-loo," he agreed with a smile.
"Just give me a green light and we're gone," KezTrek said.
Magellan nodded. "You'll have clearance in half an hour, and Admiral..."
"Yes?" KezTrek asked.
"Doctor Jiral saved a lot of Federation lives during the war and all but assured he could never go home again, we owe him gratitude," Magellan said.
"Aye Sir," KezTrek responded, closing the channel.
KezTrek stood up, quickly straightening her uniform and heading out onto the bridge. "Helm, prepare to receive departure clearance. All Senior staff to meet in the briefing room at 1600 hours," she ordered, taking her place in the centre seat. Yes, this was right... this was where she belonged.

"Computer, end program", Jamil looked at his Marines from his position behind one of the bunkers, Sergeant Ayoub approach him with a padd; Jamil looked at the padd and start reading the statistic of this training battle. All the Marines were following their orders with efficiencies, some of the new recruit lack experience but with time they will manage to adapt his team tactics.
"Good job Marines, tomorrow we will try another type of training, be prepared for hand to hand training, DISMISSED" Jamil ordered his exhausted Marines and he was the last to leave the holodeck room with the Sergeant. 1 hour later, Jamil was sitting in his quarter reviewing some padds, he was feeling refreshed after the sonic shower he take earlier. Jamil tape his com badge and called for his Sergeant; minutes later, the Lt. and his Sergeant were discussing the structure of the Teams, "i think 2 more training sessions, and i will have a good review on all the Marines available" Jamil addressed the NCO; "tomorrow, i want to try a different approach in the training, i want to try a boarding attempt to a dominion camp and the other training will be defending the ship against klingon boarding attempt" Jamil gave a padd to the Sergeant and ordered him to study the training plans. "and Sergeant, I’m open to any suggestion about these training..." before Jamil continue, his badge beeped and he hear the voice of a bridge ensign "Lt. Mrad, all Senior staff are to meet in the briefing room at 1600 hours", Jamil acknowledge and looked to his watch, 30 minutes until the meeting. Jamil dismiss the Sergeant and check his outfit, and then he exits the room heading to the meeting room.
20 minutes later, Jamil found him self near the briefing room, he recheck his outfit and approach the door, the room was still empty; Jamil head toward his place and sate on the chair waiting for every one else to arrive.

Without the ability to pilot his beloved ship, T'Brel decided to pursue some of his other hobbies. That's why he currently found himself in a bout with a very angry Klingon. The fight had lasted four rounds already and T'Brel was ready to finish it. As the Klingon prepared for a powerful blow, T'Brel quickly placed five punches squarely on his chest. The Klingon stopped in his tracks and fell to the floor unconscious.
"Winner of the bout, T'Brel Peers. Advances to finals."
"Not today, computer end program," T'Brel ordered as he exited the holodeck. It had been a very long time since he had actively pursued martial arts or anything else other than piloting. This change of pace was having other positive effects as well. His physical strength had improved, his need for sleep had diminished, and his neural pathways had began to recover. The effects of the electromagnetic being had affected T'Brel severely.
"All Senior staff to meet in the briefing room at 1600 hours"
Hearing the orders for a senior staff meeting meant only one thing. The Tigershark would be on its way very shortly. It also meant that T'Brel would be doing the thing he loved most, flying a starship.

Kirk could not help but feel paranoid about the capture of the electromagnetic being. It had found a way to remain off their sensors before and even know he trusted Thirteen he still had his doubts about how long the being would be contained. Thee ships normal electromagnetic flocculation only added fuel to Kirk’s already burning fire.
“Computer, give me the results form the last scan.” Kirk ordered from the OPS station.
Systems scans resulted in a negative conclusion
Apart of Kirk was happy to hear the results of the scan, even though it was the fifteenth time he had run that same scan in the last hour. His Borg half would stand at the OPS station until he needed to regenerate before he was sufficiently satisfied for the day.
"All Senior staff to meet in the briefing room at 1600 hours" Kirk heard KezTrek say as she sat in her command chair.
This gives me some time to run more scans, Kirk thought as he continued to keep his mind on the task at hand.

Thirteen found himself to be absent minded as the admiral came onto the bridge. It was not until she notified the crew of the briefing at 1600 hours that he got his grip on reality back. "Are you alright mister Thirteen?" admiral KezTrek asked the ex-Borg, apparently noticing his lack of focus. "I am experiencing a hard time keeping my concentration at level, admiral. Probably a result of the electromagnetic being, it will pass over time." Kez nodded. "Just make sure you're up to your job commander." "I will be admiral." "There's two hours remaining before the briefing starts, and, not that I'd want to interfere in your daily routine, but perhaps it's best that you use that time regenerating?"
Thirteen considered the admiral's proposal, and nodded. "That might work." He exited the bridge, and a turbolift took him down to the deck where he'd find his quarters. Thirteen entered his alcove, and ordered the computer to initiated his regeneration cycle.
When he opened his eyes one and a half hour later Thirteen didn't immediately feel a difference. He still felt somehow distracted by something he was unable to define. It will pass, he said to himself. He looked at his reflection in the mirror, and examined his face. It looked faintly pale, in a slightly unhealthy fashion. His eyes appeared to be darker than usual. He decided to ignore it, and straightened his collar and the pips on it instead. When he was happy with the result he exited his bathroom, and went on his way to the briefing, which was due in ten minutes.

As the senior staff of the Tigershark filtered into the briefing room Keztrek setup up the mainscreen. With a number of quick commands she switched the view to include a bio of a Cardassian man and next to it an open visual link to Admiral Magellan Lin.
The Trill Admiral was sat at his desk in what was possibly his office. If it were it was the messiest officer most had ever seen. Piles of PADDs rose up from the floor and lay scattered on the desk. The man seemed uncomfortable as he waited to begin. He was unsure if news of his recent insanities had spread this far into the fleet. Although he was better now, all his past lives reintegrated, Loran firmly back in her place never again to squirm out and take control, he still felt a great guilt for what he...she had done, attacking the Copenhagen and then seizing the Hanson . It was embarrassing for someone of his rank.
"Shall we begin" Keztrek suggested as the conversations began to subside, "I ve invited Admiral Magellan to sit in as he has more information on our mission. But first let me give you the core of it. Dr Artim Jiral was a Cardassain defector. He worked for us in the Dominion War. His work helped win us that war. He also did some exceptional work at the Vulcan Science Institute until 3 years into his tenure he had a breakdown and was diagnosed as paranoid schizophrenic. He was institutionalised on Earth but has subsequently escaped from his secure facility."
"And we are to find and bring him back, correct?" Thirteen asked
Keztrek nodded, "Yes. Magellan"
Magellan nodded and then said, "Dr Jiral worked on several projects on Vulcan. The minute he escaped Dr Satlik contacted Starfleet convinced that Jiral would come to Vulcan to ruin his work at the Institute. He was most insistent he be stopped before reaching Vulcan. But here is the puzzle. Dr Satlik will not reveal what Jiral was working on. He wont even tell us what he is working on or why he thinks Jirals first effort will be to disrupt it. Secondly is a more subtle fact, scizophrenia is extremely rare in Cardassians and the Doctors on Earth were having trouble treating Jiral, the usual treatments were n't as effective. The Tigersharks mission is two-fold. Find Dr Jiral and satiate my curiosity as to what is happening on Vulcan at the Science Institute. Thats all. If I have anymore luck finding anything out I ll update you. Otherwise Good luck" Magellan reached over and touched a button of screen and his face disappeared,
"Okay People. Suggestions" Keztrek asked,
TAG All
OOC: Please run with this mission as you see fit until Keztrek is back.

The meeting was dismissed but as Kirk started to get up he heard KezTrek halt Thirteen at the door. As Kirk walked by KezTrek said, “Commander could you please get us underway?”
“Yes Ma’am.” Kirk replied.
Kirk walked out onto the bridge and saw that everybody was already at their stations. The junior officer manning his OPS station was just about to leave when he signaled him to stay.
“All right T’Brel, take us out.” Kirk said.
Kirk watched with child like eyes as T’Brel moved the ship away from the docking clamps and began to pilot the ship toward the large docking doors.
This was the first time he had ever sat in the Captain’s chair when they were departing a Starbase, and he found it to be a thrilling experience. He could only imagine what it was like to be sitting at the helm and in complete control of this massive vessel.
"Once we are clear of the Starbase set our course and head out at Warp Eight." Kirk said.

The realization that he was going back to his childhood home brought the equivalent of human goosebumps to his skin. He hadn't been on Vulcan in years and he was apprehensive to go back. His father would be there and his expectations would be to be as Vulcan as possible. Something that he was no longer comfortable with.
His years on the Tigershark and his fateful meeting with T'Pring had raised many questions and answered many of them as well. He respected his father above all others, and he knew that he would be able to help the Tigershark in her current mission, but would his father be able to accept his way of thinking.
These were the questions that were running through his mind as the meeting ended. They were like an obsession, but they immediately ceased when his fingers graced the controls of the Tigershark. It was always a special occasion when a pilot took his or her ship out of space dock. It was always different and exhilarating.
"Keep us safe," T'Brel whispered and took the ship out. It only took a few moments to safely be out of dock and once he laid in his course, the Tigershark was on her way.

Kirk had sat for awhile in the Captain’s chair just waiting for the Admiral and Thirteen to return from her ready room. He figured that Thirteen was giving a lengthy report on what had been happening the last few missions, and thus sparing no loss of details.
As Kirk sat there he noticed the bridge was quieter than it normally was. There was no chatter, especially between him and T’Brel. The more Kirk thought about it the more he wondered if anything was wrong with his friend.
Walking up to the helm, Kirk said, “You are mighty quiet today. Something wrong?”

The meeting with the Admiral was very brief in the point of view of Jamil. ~So, we will go catch a cardassian, bring him back to earth and somehow take a peek on some secret research; it will be a cool mission ~ Jamil though to him self when the Admiral asked for some ideas. Jamil shift his eyes between the senior officer sitting in the room, some of the officers start giving their ideas to the Admiral and in the final, the Admiral gave the order to depart and that she will brief us later on her plan.
Jamil get up from his chair when the meeting was over, he exit the room and start walking toward one of the turbolifts, until the admiral give her orders he has a free time to do what ever he want. The door of the turbolift open, Jamil exit and head to the mess hall to get something to eat; the room was filled with officer and crews of the ship. The Marine approach one of the replicators "One cup of tea without sugar", The replicator start humming and a cup materialized on the padd, Jamil pick the cup and head to a table near the window and sat there looking to the star base where many transport ship are leaving and coming from it.
Moments later, Jamil felt the ship moving slowly and he saw the door of the base open and the ship start approaching the edge of the door and minutes later it start leaving the parameter of the base heading toward the edge of the system. "it is always a beautiful sight when leaving the base", Jamil turned to the sound where he saw a female officer standing near him. "It is my first time i saw the departure of a ship from this side of view" Jamil respond then he get up and introduce him self; "1st LT. Jamil Mrad at your service", the female turned red and respond "Ensign Ericca Maro, nice to meet you". Jamil smiled and before he continue his badge beeped and he hear the sound of the Sergeant "Sir, the equipment you ordered are in the cargo bay waiting for your inspection". Jamil respond that his on his way then he turned to the lovely lady and said, "Sorry ensign but duty called, perhaps we meet again" then he exit the mess hall under the eyes of the shocked ensign who murmured to her self ~is he always like that~ and the she continue her way to her station.

Warp travel had long ago been discovered by the Vulcan people, almost 1000 thousand years before the human race even had a satellite in Earth's orbit. Having been able to travel the stars for so long must have numbed the Vulcan's curiosity about the universe because most Vulcans rarely left there home province. His father had long ago told him that the Vulcan people where becoming more and more isolated in an effort to have full control of their emotions. Since that day T'Brel had refused to go back to Vulcan other than to see his father at there estate.
“You are mighty quiet today. Something wrong?”
"Just got a lot of things on my mind," T'brel responded looking up at his friend," my father is on Vulcan. I haven't spoken to him in a very long time. I'm wondering what he is going to say when we meet up again? Other than that, I hope I don't meet my betrothed"

"Betrothed," Kirk said with a large smile. He could not help but give his good friend some hell, "I never took you for much of a family man."
T'Brel glared back at Kirk but said nothing. That glance only widened Kirk's smile, "You know," Kirk said kneeling down next to T'Brel at his station, "I would like to meet your family. It would be interesting to see how a Vulcan and a Trill get along."
"Interesting?" T'Brel questioned with a confused tone, "Sounds almost like you want to study my family."
"No, it's not that. I just am used to the family interactions between humans." Kirk replied.
"And Borg." T'Brel joked.
"Them too," Kirk said adding to the joke, "You know we have not played poker in awhile. You want to get the old group together and play a few hands when we get off?"

After having reported every interesting and boring detail of their last mission, Thirteen left the admiral's office. She'd asked him to take the bridge, as she wanted to catch up on all the ships reports of last mission. Thirteen came onto the bridge, and noticed Jonathan talking to T'Brel. "I'll take the bridge from here mister Kirk, thank you," Thirteen addressed the chief of operations. Jonathan cast a look over his shoulder to find Thirteen standing there. "Understood sir." "Mister T'Brel, what is our estimate time of arrival?" Thirteen asked now talking to the Vulcan.
When he got his answer he settled himself in the captain's chair in the middle of the bridge. We are off to catch a mental scientist, now that is one for the records, Thirteen thought.

The Ship was traveling at warp speed heading toward its destination, Jamil exit the turbo lift and start walking the path toward the cargo bay; he noticed several people, some are just passing, others were working on some panels, the Marine reach the door of the cargo bay and enter the big room where lot of people working. The Admiral was kind enough to give the Marines a storage room in the bay where the Marines can stock their equipment and other related stuff.
Jamil moved his eyes around, the engineers were working on the shuttles and their was some security officer around. "Private William, bring that craft over here; You two grab that box and put it near the ..." Jamil turned to the sound where he saw the Sergeant standing giving his orders the 3 privates who were putting the crates together on the ground. Jamil approach the Marines who stand in attention when they saw their commanding officer. "At ease men, Sergeant what is our status" Jamil waited for the Sergeant who informed him that all the equipments are on board and that the platoon is accounted for and ready". Jamil approach one of the crates and open it, then he continues his check on all the crates on the ground. 40 minutes later, the inspection was complete, Jamil turned and faced the Sarge "Sergeant, I need these crates load and packed in our storage room; if you needed me i will be on the bridge". Jamil turned and head toward the door while the Marines continue their work in the cargo bay.
The turbo lift was heading toward the bridge, Jamil was standing thinking about their next mission ~search for a mad man, catch him and then gather information on a secret project. this wont be an easy task~, the door of the turbo lift open and Jamil enter the bridge, every officer was working on his station, some turned their head toward the lift to see the new comer. Jamil head to the Captain chair where he saw Lt. Commander Thirteen sitting at the chair. "Good day Commander, where is the Admiral" Jamil asked; Thirteen turned to face the Lt. and respond "The Admiral is busy Lt., what can i do for you”. "I wanted to know what will be the role of the Marines during this mission" Jamil continue

"The only family I have on Vulcan is my father and I haven't seen my betrothed since I was 5," T'Brel said turning to his friend," I don't even remember her name exactly."
~Her name is Tashael~ T'brel remembered thinking about it for a few seconds.
"Why not, I would love to take all your chips again," T'Brel joked," and we could always ask Lt. Mrad if he would like to join us. Hopefully he has a better poker face than you."
(Kirk)
"Understood sir." "Mister T'Brel, what is our estimate time of arrival?" Thirteen asked now talking to the Vulcan.
"At our current speed we'll arrive on Vulcan in 54 hours, 43 minutes, and 23 seconds sir," T'Brel said acting as Vulcan as possible which caused Jon to stifle a laugh. T'Brel let Lt. Mrad finish talking to Commander Thirteen before he asked him to join them at their poker game.
"Lt. would you like to join us in our poker game later tonight?" T'Brel asked," the invitation is extended to you as well sir."

"The role of the marines? Well mister Mrad I think you will find yourself happy to hear that there is quite a role for the marines in this mission. Once we have located doctor Jiral, you will most likely be dispatched to apprehend him," Thirteen answered the marine officer. Just then commander Peers interrupted. "A game of poker?" Thirteen repeated the question, "I am not aware as to the rules of this specific game, however I would like to accept the invitation. 'Fun' would be a nice distraction on this so far rather, yes I think 'boring' is an applicable word, mission."
"Commander Kirk!" an ensign from the operations panel called. "What is it ensign?" Kirk answered as he moved to the console. "Captain!" Thirteen turned his head to face Jonathan. He wasn't the captain anymore, yet he automatically responded to the title. "What is it commander?" "We're picking up a distress signal. It's from doctor Jiral."

"a Poker match, sounds interesting" Jamil replied and then waited for the commanding officer to respond to T'Brel question, then he heard Commander Kirk announcing that there are a distress call coming from Dr. Jiral.
"Lt. Mrad, prepare your team and be ready for my signal" Lt. Commander Thirteen ordered the Lt. who turn and head to the turbo lift. He ordered the computer to take him to the deck where the Marines resident. The Marines were relaxing them selfs, the Lt. approach Sergeant Ayoub
"Sergeant, Prepare Alpha team for an extract mission, we will wait for the captain orders and then we will head toward the transporter room" Jamil then head to his office while the Sergeant start yelling and ordering the Marines to gear them selfs where he gathered Alpha team together. Jamil approach the clothet, he remove his outfit and put the battle gear on his body, he pick his phaser and put the k-bar in his right side. 3 minutes later, Jamil was standing at the door of his office; he saw Alpha team geared and standing in attention, the Sergeant approach and salute saying " Alpha team ready for deployment Sir".
Jamil look at the Marines and then tap his combadge, "Lt. Commander Thirteen, Alpha team is ready for deployment; we are awaiting your signal"

"What is the source of the signal commander?" Thirteen asked Kirk. "It appears to come from a ship, or at least a construction that once was a ship; it's embedded in a meteor, probably due to high speed collision." "In that case mister Jiral is lucky to be alive." Kirk nodded. "Readings show one life sign, though it is weak and fading."
Thirteen nodded as he assessed the situation. =/\= Medical team A1, get your gear together and head for the transporter room immediately. =/\= =/\= Thirteen to mister Mrad. Doctor Jiral is to be extracted from the shipwreck on the meteor. You will be accompanied by a medical team for immediate treatment on mister Jiral. It is vital that the doctor reaches the Tiger Shark alive. I am aware that this is your first task mister Mrad, good luck, I am sure you will perform to expectancy. Thirteen out. =/\=

Kirk had never seen anything like it before; by all rights there shouldn’t have been any survivors on that ship. Stranger things have happened in space, Kirk thought as he continued to monitor the response times of the medical and Marines.
Kirk was pleasantly surprised at the rapid speed in which the Marines had geared up and assembled in the transporter room. He made a mental note to talked to Lieutenant Mrad about it once they got back.
"Lt. Commander Thirteen, Alpha team is ready for deployment; we are awaiting your signal" Kirk heard Mrad say over the COM.
“Your team is a go,” Thirteen said, “I repeat your team is a go.”
“Roger that.” Mrad replied.
Kirk continued to watch the bio signs of both the away teams and the one single survivor. He knew it was only going to be a matter of minutes before the Marines had located the Doctor and the medical away team treated him. He just hoped that nothing was going to go wrong during the Marines first away mission onboard the Tiger Shark.

“Your team is a go,” Thirteen said, “I repeat your team is a go.”
“Roger that.” Mrad replied and step forward to the transporter pad. "Sergeant, wait for the medical team and follow us" Jamil ordered and then signal the officer who was standing near the panel to energize. The body of the Marine dematerialize and moment later, Jamil found him self in the ship with 3 more Marines; the area was dark except for some faint light coming from emergency spots; lot of wreckage every where, the Lt. pick a tricorder from his pad and start scanning the area looking for doctor Jiral. A faint signal was coming from near the cockpit but to reach him was very difficult; Jamil heard the sound of humming and the medical team and the remaining of Alpha team beamed behind him.
"Where is the survivor" one of the medical team asked. Jamil point him to the area, then approach a panel where he check if the medical team can use the transporters to beam directly to Dr. Jiral, but due to the hard impact, the transporter were offline. "Ok Marines, let's work with hand quickly, we need to extract the Dr. quickly" Jamil put his rifle and start grabbing the stuff and put them away.
10 minutes later, there was a path were the medical team were able to sneak through and reach Dr. Jiral. One of the Medic start working while the other turned and asked the Lt. "Sir, we need to extract him quickly from here", Jamil nodded and then 2 of the Marines help in removing the Dr. and head toward the extract point. Jamil tape his com badge addressing Lt. Commander Thirteen "Sir, we have found Dr. Jiral and the Medical team need to beam him directly to sick bay".
"Understood Lt., I need you to download the computer core of the ship and return to the Tiger Shark, Thirteen out"
Jamil watch as the Medical team beamed to the Tiger shark, he waited for the core download and ordered every one to leave the ship and head home. Jamil was heading toward the extract area when he noticed some pads on the floor, he grab one of them where he found the info about experiments and stuff.
~perhaps these pads can help clarifying what the Dr. was working on~ Jamil thought to him self , he grab all the pads and head to the rear of the ship; he tap his badge and "One to beam up". The Lt. found him self back on the tiger shark, he exit the transporter room and head directly to the bridge where he approach the Lt. Commander.
"Sir, the retrieval mission was successful and Dr. Jiral is in sickbay; we retrieved the computer core and some of Dr. Jiral pads" Jamil inform his superior of the mission and waited for the next order

"Sir, I recommend putting a bit more distance between us and that ship," T'Brel suggested as the Marine CO reported a complete success.
(Thirteen)
With the order given, T'Brel moved 50,000 kilometers away from the ship and awaited orders to be given.
OCC: I know this is a pitful post, but at the moment I don't have anything flowing in my brain. I'm really sorry and I'm hoping that it will improve.

"Sir, the retrieval mission was successful and Dr. Jiral is in sickbay; we retrieved the computer core and some of Dr. Jiral pads" Kirk heard over the COM.
“Good, bring the data to the bridge for analysis,” Thirteen ordered, “Post guards at the door way to sickbay.” He finished.
“Aye sir.” Mrad replied.
“Sir, I recommend putting a bit more distance between us and that ship," T'Brel suggested as the Marine CO reported a complete success.
”Agreed.” Thirteen replied.
Kirk watched from the back of the bridge as T’Brel maneuvered the Tiger Shark as if it was a little sports car. Just as suddenly as the Tiger Shark had moved away she stopped dead in her tracks and did an about face.
“What should we do about the ship sir?” Kirk asked.
“We will mark this location in our star charts and report it to Starfleet so they may send out a salvage crew to clean up the mess.” Thirteen replied.
“That’s it?” Kirk questioned.
“I was not finished Mr. Kirk. I want you to lead an away team to recover any more information about what Dr. Jiral has been doing over there, and report your findings to me.”
“Aye sir.” Kirk replied. Kirk tapped his COM Badge and opened a channel to Mrad, “Captain Mrad please report to transporter room one with two Marines.”
“Aye sir.” Mrad replied.
Kirk then motioned to T’Brel to join him on the away mission. Kirk knew from experience that if they ever got into a sticky situation that he could always count on T’Brel to pull them through.

“Kirk to Captain Mrad.” Kirk called out over the open COM
“Mrad here sir.” Mrad replied.
“Meet me in Transporter Room One please.” Kirk said as he moved from his station toward the turbo lift in the back of the room.
“On my way.”
T’Brel had gotten up quickly from the helm and moved to the back of the bridge to head over with Kirk. Just as the two officers stepped into the turbo lift, two other junior officers had quickly taken their stations.
Entering the transporter room Kirk found Mrad and two Marines standing at attention. They were all heavily armed and ready for any situation that might arise. For a moment Kirk felt as if he was ill prepared for what they might expect over there. He quickly checked the setting on his phaser and placed it back into its holster. Kirk saw out of the corner of his eyes that T’Brel was doing the same.
Standing on the transporter pad the team of five Tiger Shark crewmembers were beamed over to the Vulcan Doctor’s lab. Kirk’s eyes took a moment to adjust to the low light levels but the Marines simply switched on the lights they had attached to their phaser rifles.
“Captain Mrad, take your men make sure this is a secure location,” Kirk said, “Myself and Commander Peers will reestablish main power and try and access the main computer.”

Jamil was standing in the transporter room, he was checking the rifle in his hand while the 2 Marines that he picked, Private Rojet Mitri and Corporal Jean Paul were standing by waiting for for commander Kirk and commander 1st class T'Breel to arrive. moment later, the 2 officers entered the room Jamil approach Commander Kirk "Sir, we are ready to deploy".
the 5 members of the tigershark step on the transporter padds and Jonathan looked to the transporter officer and signal him to beam them to the designed location on Dr. Jiral ship. The bodies disappeared to reaper later on on the deserted ship.
“Captain Mrad, take your men make sure this is a secure location,” Jamil acknowledge and start giving his orders. "Corporal Paul, i need you to guard this location and you are authorized to do what ever necessary to protect the commanders" , Jean Paul acknowledge and took a guarding position while the commanders start working to restore the power to the ship.
"Me and Private Mitri will go check the remaining of the ship" ; Jamil said as he ordered the Private to follow him and he entered the next room putting his rifle in stunned mode. The room was dark except for the light coming from his rifle, his instinct always tell him to stay alert for anything. the room was empty and it leads to a small corridor, the corridor was filled with fragment and destroyed panels due to the impact.
"Captain, i think we have something or someone on board" the voice of Rojet come from the badge; Jamil approach the private where he saw something on the tricorder but the signal was very static and both Marines were not able to identify it. Jamil tape his badge and contact commander kirk "Commander kirk, we have a signal coming from the end of the ship but we are unable to identify it because of interference. what do you recommend"

The first thing that came to mind was how un-Vulcan the lab looked. In a traditional Vulcan lab you would be hard pressed to find anything that could be thrown or destroyed. With this in mind, T'Brel pressed forward. The dimmed lights didn't impair his vision which he adjusted within seconds.
"You know, its never easy for us is it?" T'Brel said to Kirk as he stumbled a bit on some debris.
(Kirk)
"The lab's core should be down this corridor," T'Brel said as he took out his phaser. He didn't feel threatened, but he wasn't going to chance it.
