All right everyone, time for a new mission. Admiral KezTrek has given a green light to start with the mission. With Admiral KezTrek having computer problems and Commander Savali being ill, that leaves Commander Wood in Command and he'll decide who will function as acting XO until further notice. We'll weave it into the storyline, saying both Admiral KezTrek and COmmander Savali had a bad case of food poisining. Doc Buster, that ought to give you something extra to do . The "patients" can return to active duty when they are able to come back from their Real Life problems. The crew of the USS Tigershark were having a nice dinner party in the hotel on Risa. Even Tiffni had been able to attend. She had just today beamed down from the Tigershark to enjoy the Risan beach with her small, newborn daughter Amilea. Sadly, their CO and XO had both eaten something wrong, because they had to be beamed up to Sickbay in a medical emergency in the middle of the night. Doctor Buster had lost half his night in taking care of them and he was yawning and slightly drooping over his pizza. Danny and the others looked at him with amusement. Danny and Rye even had a bet standing: what would happen first? A) he would fall in his pizza and wake up with slices of salami in his hair, or B) he would fall off his chair and wake up on the floor. Danny went for possibility A, while Rye had a pretty strong case for his answer (B) because Buster was slowly hanging over to one side.
Just when Buster was about to fall off his chair and Rye was about to win the bet, the call came.
=^=Tigershark to Commander Wood=^=
=^=Wood here, go ahead Tigershark=^=
=^=Sir, I have Admiral Drew on the line for you. It's urgent=^=
=^=Patch him through=^=
After a short acknowledgement from the comm officer, Admiral Drew's voice came over the comm.
=^=Commander Wood. Assemble your crew and return to the Tigershark immediately. I'll brief you once you get there. Drew out.=^=
Angry faces greeted Wood when he gave the order. "All right everyone, you heard the Admiral. Let's go. Assemble your stuff and meet me on the Bridge in 15 minutes."
The crew parted, all cursing or expressing their hatred of Starfleet and it's ridiculous decision to cut their holiday short in some other way. - 15 minutes later - The crew had assembled on the Bridge, still looking angry and feeling cheated. Admiral Drew's face appeared on the viewscreen.
"I'm so sorry to cut your well-deserved vacation short..." At this point he was interrupted by angry snorts from the assembled crew. "...But there is something important that you need to investigate. We have discovered a new planet in the relatively unknown zone between Federation Space and Cardassian Space. You will travel to the area through Bajoran Space, past Deep Space 9 into the area I have just described, to a planet called Tzenketh. The Tzenkethi are a peaceful race of low technology, comparable to the early Germanic civilizations on Earth, think vikings and Saxons etc. This is a great opportunity to observe this pre-warp society in its prime. You can use cloak-suits if you go to the surface to study them up-close and personal and you can conduct further tests from orbit. Avoid contact at all costs. Any questions?" There was no reply from the crew. "In that case, safe journey and good luck! Drew out."
The viewscreen faded to black and Danny exploded. "So THAT'S what they cut our vacation short for? You gotta be freakin' kidding me! Any Starfleet vessel can do this and though this is no doubt an interesting mission, I'd much rather sit in my chair on the beach reading a good book for the next two weeks!" Some of the crew exclaimed angry noises of support, but Wood intervened. "All right listen up. We have our orders. We're probably the closest Federation ship or else the Federation Council has some other prupose in sending us there. At any rate, it will be an interesting mission. No more of that rebellious talk now, we have a job to do. Buster, would you be so kind as to inform the Admiral and Commander Savali of our mission? The rest of you, unpack and prepare the ship for an anthropological mission. Helm, set a course to Tzenketh. You will find the coordinates in the databank. Admiral Drew has just sent them. The rest of you, dismissed!" <TAG: Everyone!>

Buster woke out of his slumber all of a sudden, when a beep was heard, followed by loud talking. He violently put himself back in an upward position and looked around. He was still in the hotel, and Wood seemed to be talking to his combadge. He blinked and suddenly noticed both Danny and Rye looking at him. Danny grinning, but Rye looking dissapointed.
"Did I miss something?" Buster whispered, as to not interrupt the conversation Wood was having.
Wood was done talking over the comm and gave the order to get back to the Tigershark. Buster closed his eyes in dissapointment. He had hoped to be able to get some rest on this holiday, now look at him. Half-sleeping, and back to the ship.
After returning to the Tigershark, listening to the speech and receiving his new orders from Wood, Buster wandered to his quarters to put his bags down. When he opened his quarters he immediately looked at the bed. How he wanted to get some sleep.
Oh well, he put down his bags and immediately left his quarters again. He just needed to inform the Admiral and Savali of the mission. It was time to check up on them anyway. On his way to sickbay he noticed he was still wearing his colourful holiday cap, turned backward, on his head. He really needed some sleep.
Without bothering to take it off he entered sickbay. Savali and the Admiral were both still on their beds.
The admiral was sleeping, but Savali seemed to be awake.
"Hello commander". Buster said. "And how are you feeling today?"
Savali looked up at Buster. He really looked awful. It was quite possible that Savali had managed to get even less sleep than Buster had.
"How do I look?" Savali said, as if he had read Busters thoughts.
"Awful" Buster said, without hestitating. "Are you feeling worse than yesterday?" he asked.
Savali closed his eyes. He really looked in pain. "I don't think there is a lot of difference, docter". Savali rolled around, turning away from Buster.
"I think It's about time for more medicine" Buster said. He increased the lights in sickbay and grabbed some medicine from the medicinal cabinet.
He walked back to Savali and injected the medicine with a hypospray in his neck. "This will help against the pain, and will help you sleep. Which you should.". Buster said. "This is quite possibly the worst case of food poisening I've ever witnessed".
"Be glad you are just a witness" Savali grumbled.
"Do you want to go back to your quarters perhaps? I think you will perhaps be able to sleep better there" Buster said, ignoring Savali's comment.
"I'm fine" Savali said, though he looked everything from fine.
Buster rolled his eyes. "Okay, but you should get some rest anyway".
Savali nodded and closed his eyes again.
Buster looked at Savali for a while. Savali stopped rolling around and relaxed a little.
Buster was about to check up on the Admiral when he suddenly remembered his orders.
"Oh, before I forget" Buster spoke, violently waking Savali up again. "I needed to inform you about our new mission".
Savali rolled around, looking at Buster in a very annoyed way.
Buster ignored Savali's angry stare and continued. "We are going to investigate some planet which holds a pre-warp civilisation."
Savali waited for Buster to continue.
"Just a study" Buster added.
Savali nodded and turned around again.
Buster silently walked away towards his desk. He'd inform the Admiral about the mission as soon as she woke up. He didn't want to annoy any other sleeping superiors...
"Nice cap by the way" Buster heard behind him.
Buster smiled and entered his personal office.

Still wearing a pine-appley hawaii shirt, Wood sat down in the Command Chair. He immediatly noticed how comfortable it was, so much different from the other chairs on the bridge, so much softer and... Suddenly Wood woke up from his day-dreaming and noticed a new face hovering behind him, a young Lieutenant handing a status report. So this was the new assistant Ops officer. Could he even handle a hyper-spanner?
Reading the report, Wood nodded "Quite right, Lieutenant, carry on." The subconscious authority that plagued his voice made quite an impression it seemed, as he heard some smothered chuckles and laughs behind him. "And you people carry on as well, please." Wood said grinning. Even though their shore leave was abruptly cut off, most people seemed to feel more at home since last mission. Almost as if it brought people closer together.
Shrugging those memories off, Wood stood up and gave a generic officer the conn. He was due for a freshing-up..
Before he left the bridge, he made a note in the ship's computer, alerting the senior staff to a briefing next day.

*Tiffani was fustrated, she could feel the tension from the crew and it weared thin on her nerves, she was still recupperating from giving birth and already she was being called back to work, so much for enjoying family life she thought with a chuckle, she listened as they gave the instructions on what to do. as soon as the crew was dismissed she took little Amilea with her to her quarters, she was troubled, cause she hadn't yet got any of the details worked out on who would take care of her baby while she and her husband were on duty then she got an idea*

Thirteen didn't manage to participate in the annoyance of the crew that their shoreleave'd been cut short for their next assignment.
Of course it did hamper his research on human anthropology, yet that could be effieciently postponed according to his calculations.
Subconsciously Thirteen enjoyed sitting at the tactical station once more. It hadn't changed since his unexpected disappearance.
He wondered if this research was of any use to him, considering getting to know humanity.
Thirteen also tried to proces wheter they would find a primitive folk, and if an unfortunate encounter could lead to dangerous situations regarding the away team.
He would surely be tagging along.

Rye was in paradise. Quite literally, in fact. The bar/resort that the crew was staying in was called Paradise. The officers relaxed at a large table in the back hall of the dining lounge, as several attractive waiters would come by, and serve drinks. Danny and Rye were both having shots of scotch. Real Scotch, which was hard to come by in active duty. Without getting too hammered, both men sat back and switched to relaxing coffee. They both stared amusingly at Buster as he drifted into slumber.
"You know what? I'm in a betting mood today. I bet you two duty shifts that Buster'll fall right on the floor."
"No way. He'll fall face first into that pizza of his."
"You're on!" Both men shook on the bet, and sat waiting for one or the other to happen. They did, though, feel sorry for their CMO. He had had to take urgent care of Commander Savali, and the new CO, KezTrek. Rye had been on a mission with her in the academy, and got to know her somewhat well. He had barely been able to talk with the Rear Admiral for a brief period before she had succumbed to her illness. Both of the officers had come down with food poisoning from a bad plate of Gagh. The other crewmembers had already given it a wide birth, and now almost ran at the sight of smell...or sound. Buster began to fall to the right, and just as he was about to topple over, Wood's communicator sounded, effectively waking Buster from his daze. Wood had a short conversation with an "Admiral Drew", which Rye had never heard of, and before he closed the comm, the entire staff knew what was coming.
Murmurs came from all as they were almost forced to pack their stuff back up.
"What a nice, long shore-leave we all get to have..." Rye said as he Danny went to their adjacent rooms. They all quickly packed, and gathered in the main lobby, floral shirts and all, and transported to the Tiger-Shark.
The entire crew came to the bridge, without even stopping at their quarters. They all gathered in front of the viewscreen, and Admiral Drew appeared. He explained the mission, and why they were called away from shore leave. Rye was in awe. While he didn't mind getting back to work, he couldn't believe that they were being sent for a duck-blind that they would have years to set up. What was so urgent that Starfleet pulled them from Risa?
Rye took his bags, and slowly walked down to the turbolift, where he stepped in to deposit his clothes, and change back into his uniform. As Rye arrived in his quarters, his communicator chirped.
(=/\=) "There is a briefing for all senior staff at 09:00 tomorrow."(=/\=)
Rye changed into his black and grey uniform, and set off to see Commander Wood. Before he had stepped into a turbolift, another call came.
(=/\=) "Counsellor Savali to Commander Fitzpatrick."
Rye here Tiffani, how are you feeling?"
<TAG - TIFF>
"Sure, I'll get it up in about 30 minutes. Any preferences on looks, or would you want to come with me to help design her?
<TAG - TIFF>
"Sounds good. I'll be in Hololab 2."
<TAG - TIFF>
"Ok, no problem. Fitzpatrick out."(=/\=)
Rye had designed the new Nanny in no time, and had a caring, controllable woman able to monitor the young child. Rye explained the specifics to Tiffani, and after a short peek at Amelia, he left to go get some sleep in his quarters. Rye slowly entered his quarters, and tripped on the bags he had left in front of the door. After nursing a stubbed toe for a moment, he took off his uniform, and took a long sonic shower. He stepped out of the booth, and cleaned his teeth. He then collapsed into his bed.
"Computer. Play playlist TRT Beta 72." Rye settled into his pillow as the Bee Gees played him to sleep.
***
The next morning, Rye got up to the alert tone produced by the computer. Rye stayed in bed for a few minutes, and then got up. He walked over to the replicator, where he ordered a black coffee, and a breakfast of toast, bacon and eggs. He ate the breakfast slowly, and he put the plate back into the outlet. Rye changed into his uniform, and left his quarters. He went down to engineering, where he relieved Ensign Kouvelous. He sat in his office chair, and ran several diagnostics. After a few minutes, the diagnostic results appeared on the screen, reporting a slight imbalance in the coolant output. Rye got up, and grabbed an artion pulse scanner. He walked up to the coolant tanks, and ran the scanner over the green glowing tanks. After reading the results, he moved to the coolant control panel, and changed coolant output down by .03% He reran the scan, and detected no imbalance. Satisfied, he set his tools back on the storage shelf, and began to leave for the bridge, and the pending meeting.
He stepped onto the bridge, where Thirteen was manning tactical. Lieutenant Bergland was at the helm, and Lieutenant Commander Harkon was at the conn. Rye relieved him, and took command, waiting for the meeting to begin. He had a short conversation with Thirteen, and then got up as Commander Wood arrived at the bridge. He still appeared somewhat tired, but he was cheerful enough. Rye followed him into the briefing room, giving Harkon back command.
Once the staff was in, Wood began the briefing. He outlined the mission details, and handed out assignments.
"Rye. Please prepare several cloaking suits, and portable holographic generators to bring down to the surface."
"Aye, sir. Rye said. Shortly after, the offices were dismissed, and Rye set about the task of preparing the cloaking suits. Testing, and fitting each one to the landing party members, Rye spent the day aligning each field to be invisible, but to emit a homing beacon so that the ship could locate the suit at all times. Fortunately, the Tzenkethi couldn’t detect it at all. After a long days work, Rye went to the mess hall for dinner with Danny. They discussed their mission, and the past ones. Danny regaled Rye with many stories of before Rye was on board. During this time, Luke joined in, and sat down with them. They chatted for several hours, before finally getting tired and returning to their quarters.
OFF
Well, back in the game for another mission. Let's make a good impression on our new CO.

- Briefing Room 09.00 -
The staff was assembled in the Briefing Room. Danny was still yawning and Rye and J'Leera looked cheerful but sleepy too. Thirteen was the only one who looked wide awake. Then again, he always did. His injuries had healed well. There were still a few traces of his recent tortures, but other than that he seemed in great health. Or functioning well, as he would say himself. The staff slowly sat down and Wood stood up.
"Good morning everyone." Danny took a large draught from his double coffee as Wood went on. "We will arrive at Tzenkethi within twelve hours. I intend to get straight to work. We are to study a by our standards primitive alien civilization and the planet they are living on. J'Leera, could you modify the sensors to full scientific capabilities? We need to detect every possible form of particles or radiation in their atmosphere and around the planet." J'Leera nodded. "Will do Commander. It will take me the better part of the day, but the sensors will function at maximum capacity when I'm through with them." Wood nodded in approval. "Luke, since there is no immediate need of a pilot, we can use your skills differently now. COuld you help J'Leera make the necessary modifications?
<TAG: J'Leera, Luke>
"Counselor, Doctor, you two will have an interesting time on the planet. I need you to monitor their fysiology and study their social culture more closely. I want to know what makes them "tick" so to speak. Of course I also need you to determine whether it's safe to send people to the surface."
<TAG: Buster, Tiffani>
"Thirteen, Danny, you two are in charge of the away teams' safety." Finally, Wood turned tp Rye.
"Aye sir," Rye replied. Wood looked at each staff member in turn. "Any questions?" Danny raised his hand. "What can we expect? I assume the species is humanoid?" "Oh yes, they are humanoid, slightly larger than human beings, but other than that we know nothing of them as yet. Any other questions?" The crew didn't respond. "In that case, dismissed."

After visiting Tiff and her beautiful baby girl Luke headed to his quaters. He was still very tired, he seemed to be feeling more and more fatigued at the moment and as he entered his quaters he wondered whether he was getting too comfortable with his role on the Tiger Shark. Granted there never was a mission when something dramatic didnt happen but he still felt like he needed something new. He decided he would get some rest, maybe he was just over tired.
Luke spent most of the night tossing and turning in his bed. Unable to find the peace of sleep and when he did it was filled with disturbing images from the past. Amy's lifeless body in his arms. The Hepta crew gone crazy. His mirror counterpart....
He woke suddenly when the computer announced the time.
=^= The time is 0700 =^= It repeated until Luke aknowledged it.
He climbed slowly out of bed and gingerly stepped into the shower. He was still very tired and as a result was walking slower than usual.
At 0845 he left his quaters and headed for the briefing room. Ready for the meeting.
He arrived to see that everyone was there and ready to start. He took his seat and listened intently to the briefing. When Wood asked him to assist J'Leera he replied that he was more than happy to help but felt he would be little use. He was glad he would be working with J'Leera, they hadnt spoke at all since they left Risa and Luke wanted to know how she was handling everything.
Luke went over to J'Leera at the end of the meeting at sat next to her.
"Where shall we start?" Luke asked.
<TAG J'Leera>
"Ok then." Luke said. "Do you want to make a start on it today?"
<TAG J'Leera>
"Good idea. Maybe we should get it done today. Hopefully we will have it done by this evening." Luke said.

Shore leave had been going very well and J'Leera was enjoying the rest that she was getting. During this time, she had started reading books from the ship's database. She hadn't read anything in a while and had missed it. Since she was in Starfleet now and would probably be on Earth eventually, she wanted to read some of their literature and get to know the culture better. Hmm...what should I pick? she thought as she skimmed through the titles. She wanted something interesting to read, perhaps an adventure novel. Something caught her eye. "War and Peace", she read and then looked at the summary. "Hmm...maybe not now, maybe later," she said, looking at the length. Just as she was about to look at the list again, she received the message about the meeting. She was rather suprised and went up immediately to see what it was about. There she sat listening to the briefing about their new mission. Obviously, no one was happy about it, but they were Starfleet officers after all and had to do their duty. "Oh, well," she sighed. "Perhaps this mission will be fun for a change..." She went back to her room that evening and resumed her search for a good book to read. Their upcoming mission did not sound stressful, so she assumed that she'd have time to read. Finally she found one. It was a series actually and it looked promising. "Hmm...Lord of the Rings," she said and picked up the first book. "The Fellowship of the Ring..." She did not have much time to read though and only managed to read the first two chapters before she had to get to work. After their briefing she found out that she would be remodifying the sensors so that they could be used on the planet. Apparently, due to the high concentrations of certain metal alloys, scanning would be difficult and she would have to find a way around them. She was down at the lab early that morning, wanting to get a good start and waited for Luke while the computer began running through a few possiblities that she had thought of. "Where shall we start?" Luke asked. "First I suggest we run some tests to see that the equipment is in working order. You can do that while I start on the tests to get around those metals." ""Ok then." Luke said. "Do you want to make a start on it today?" "Absolutely," she nodded. "I'd like to get this over with," she said, starting to think about her book. ""Good idea. Maybe we should get it done today. Hopefully we will have it done by this evening." Luke said. OFF: I have read these books and love them all. The length of "War and Peace" don't really bother me, just J'Leera.

Rye and Danny entered the mess hall. It had been a long day full of hard work.
Danny had assisted wherever he could. He had been a former Chief Engineer before he had transferred to the Marine Corps, but to his great annoyance, he noticed that his Engineering skills became a little rusty. Sure, he could still find his way around in Engineering and his knowledge was still up-to-date enough to keep the ship from blowing itself into smithereens, but Danny hadn't kept up with the latest Engineering technology and he found out the hard way. Danny had heard of cloaked observation suits before, but he had never encountered them first-handed. Modifying them for the mission and trying to make them fit the crew roved to be more challengeing then he had thought ad first. After Danny had accidentally modified one of the cloak suits to fit a midget and another one to carry three crewmembers simultaneously, Rye came to his rescue. "Whoa Danny, what are you doing?" He pointed to the midget-sized suit and continued jokingly, "I doubt little Amilea will accompany us to the surface and the other one looks big enough to cloak the Tigershark. Were you planning on taking the entire ship down?" Danny looked at him angrily, still frustrated at his inability to work with the suits, but seeing Rye's smile, he relaxed and laughed with him. Rye kindly pointed out to him how to modify the suits and then asked him to work on the Engineering systems he did still know. Luckily, the technology in Engineering itself hadn't changed too much, so he quickly felt at home again while reconfiguring several systes and running tests on the cloaking devices of the suits.
They sat down at the table that was farthest from the door and ordered a pizza and a coke. About half-way through their pizza, they saw Luke enter the mess hall and motioned him to come over. When Luke arrived at the table he stood there, hesitating whether or not to sit down. "Well come on Luke, sit down and have a bite. How was your day?" Danny said cheerfully.

Felix had been lying in sickbay for a while now. The food poisoning really got to him. He had never had it before and he never thought that it would be this horrible. But from the last medicine Buster gave him, he was feeling a lot better, but the food poisoning was not the only thing that caused his problems.
He did not expect to become a father so fast. But now it happened however he was troubled by this and that did not help him at all. He needed to talk to someone before he explodes. He looked around sickbay and couldn't see Buster anywhere. He was probably getting some rest, Felix thought ad he slowly got of the biobed and started moving towards the door.
As he was about a foot away from the door Buster came to sickbay from his office.
"Where are you going?", he asked Felix
"Well as you earlier recommended that I can feel better in my quarters so i decided to take you up on that and go."
"OK, let me help you to you're quarters then", Buster said
"No, I can manage myself thanks", Felix said
"I insist", Buster said and he looked like he was not going to give up
"OK fine, i need to go to the holodeck and talk to someone", Felix said
"Talk to someone on the holodeck? Are you sure you're feeling fine", Buster asked
"Yes I’m fine, and it is a special program similar to the EMH", Felix said
"Ah I see, so looking for a second opinion", Buster said trying to look serious
"No, I mean ah, never mind"; Felix said as he walked through the door
"Don't forget to come by later for your last shot of the medicine. You wouldn't want me to go looking for you, would you now", Buster shouted after him smiling
As Felix left sickbay he was making way towards the turbo lift meeting a few officers along the way, but not really noticing them. Only thing on his mind was that he needed to talk to someone and Vic was the only one he knew that could help him. After a ride on the turbo lift he made way towards the holodeck.
"Computer load program Savali alpha 129 from active memory"
"Program loaded you may enter"
And the holodeck doors opened it was early morning the last guests were just going out and Vic was sitting at the bar counting his income. When he noticed Felix he went over to him and got him to sit down.
"Aye, aye you look terrible"; Vic said
"Tell me about it, i got food poisoning, and plus I have another problem", Felix began
"Ah becoming a father got to you didn't it? » Vic said
"You never cease to amaze me, but yes you're right I didn't expect to become a father so soon in the day, and I’m afraid, yes afraid of being a lousy dad." Felix finished
"First of i know you will be a great dad, and trust me I know to judge people really good, as for becoming a father so early in the day as you put it, just a little while ago you were here all happy that you were going to become a dad, and now you're scared of it. You shouldn't be and well come on let me show you something", Vic said as he took Felix out of the bar somewhere outside
"Computer, arc", Vic said as the arc appeared
He typed a few keys and the small screen displayed the view of what the holo-nanny saw.
"Look its your kid, Amilea just by looking at her I know you feel you'll be a good father for her, and set an good example for her on what someone can do with their life, so now stop slacking and worrying and get your [word deleted] back to work as FO of this ship and as the husband of CNS Tiffani and as dad of Amilea. This ain't the time for a block as there’s much to be done and if anyone can do it you can.", Vic finished
"You’re right, I don't know what hit me, thnx for this Vic I really needed It.", Felix said
"Don't mention it pall, now get going"
"Yes you're right I should be going, cya Vic", Felix said
"Catch you later ", Vic added
"Computer Store the program Savali alpha 129 into the active memory authorization Savali omega 1-9-9."
"Program stored, exit", and the program disappeared and the exit appeared in front of him. Time to go into new victories, Felix thought as he went out of the holodeck and back to sickbay for the last dose of the medicine.
<Tag Buster>
After Felix got his last dose he was feeling much much better and he was going to return to duty the next day after he said goodbye to Buster and checked on RA Keztrek who still was not doing fine, he went to his quarters to get some sleep.
When he arrived he was greeted by the holo nanny who informed him that Amilea was sleeping and that he shouldn’t wake her up. He approached her crib and looked at her she looked so sweet sleeping like that. He gave her a gentle kiss before he made way to the bed. Tiffani still was not in so he deducted that she still had work to do. He changed into his pajama and then lied on the bed. He fell asleep immediately.

"=/\= Commander, we have arrived at Tzenketh, standing by." A sleepy Wood rose from his bed, "Understood, geostandard orbit please." While the Tiger Shark moved into position, and the hours went by, it became morning. The sun was just rising above the horizon of the planet, while Wood was looking out the window with a cup of coffee and a sandwich. Thirteen walked past. "Commander, wait up. I wanted to talk to you. How are you feeling?" "Commander, I'm sure you are aware that I have no feelings.." Wood sighed, "Well then... Are you within established parameters?" "Affirmative." "It may sound a bit strange, with you just coming back and all, but I need an Acting XO and you're it." "Commander, it is my presumption that Commander Laika, Commander Fitzpatrick and Counselor Savali are superiour in the chain of command, am I not correct?" "Well, yes, but the couselor is busy with her baby, and Commander Fitzpatrick has cloaking suits to worry about. I was going to ask J'Leera as well, since you two are busy with your duties as well." "Understood.. I accept." "Great," Wood extended his hand, which Thirteen looked at with a surprised look. "Take it." Thirteen yanked at Wood's hand. Shaken Wood replied "You may let go now, Thirteen." And the morning became later in the morning, with a staff briefing at everyone's hands. When Wood was about to start (he still hadn't asked J'Leera yet), Felix entered the lounge. As if being one person, those present turned around and welcomed Felix back. "Just kept your chair warm, Commander." Wood smiled. "You may sit on it a while longer, Commander. Please continue the briefing, I am not yet fully up to speed." "Right. We have arrived at Tzenketh, and since you all read Starfleet's report on the Tzenkethi, I'll start giving orders right away." Wood smirked. "Counselor, Lieutenant, I understand you found out the planet was safe to send people too?" They nodded. "Right, Commander Laika, Commander Fitzpatrick, Marine Captain Löhnen and Lieutenant Buster, you will take a shuttle down to the planet. Commander Dowding, if you would drive 'em please. Commander Thirteen, you will monitor their progress. Counselor.. I understand you just had a baby and would most probably like to rest, but I need you to analyse the scans that Buster makes down there. His tricorder will have an uplink to our computer, so you can start the analysis right away. Saves us time." Wood smiled. "Any questions?" OFF: Sorry for stepping on your territory there, Felix, but since you've been sick and all (good to have you back..), you'll probably want to catch up

The shuttle soared out of the Tigershark's shuttle bay. Luke was at the helm, whistling a cheerful tune. Danny was still wrestling with his cloak suit. Damn those things were unconfortable. J'Leera saw him struggle and moved over to him. "Oh stop moving. The way you're doing it, it's never going to fit." She made a few quick adjustments and suddenly, the suit felt very comfortable, like a second skin. Danny smiled sheepishly at her.
The shuttle landed about five kilometres from the village. Luke hid it in a cave and when the Buster saw how anxious he was to tag along, he invited Luke to join them. Luke didn't think twice and immediately put on his cloak suit too. Danny informed the Tigershark.
=^=Löhnen to Tigershark. Don't wait up for Commander Dowding, he's joining us here. Löhnen out. =^=
The five officers walked out of the cave and turned on their cloak suits. It was a strange experience. Danny saw the others disappear into thin air, while his own hands dissolved right before his eyes. It seemed like magic. Then he remembered the special visor. He turned it on and suddenly, his crewmates re-appeared, visible to him, invisible to the world.
They reached the villiage, where the sun was still rising. It was still so quiet and peaceful. Soon, the place would be swarming with villagers, but for now, there was time to observe the buildings.
There were low wooden buildings in which the people seemed to live. They were decorated by elaborate woodcarvings, apparently images from their mythology or heroes. They couldn't be sure yet. Suddenly, there was a sound. The team looked around in distress, but it turned out to be a bell, designed to wake the people up. Slowly but surely, the village came to life.

Off: No problem John, I will want to catch up Now of to the post After Felix woke up the next day it was only a few minutes later then usual. He noticed that Tiffani was already up and was feeding Amilea. He slowly started to get up from the bed when he felt his stomach barking again, only this time it looked like it was from hunger. But he couldn't eat what he'd like as Buster prescribed him a diet. Just great he thought when I’m hungry I have to eat the worse things you can find in the replicator. I still can't manage to perceive that nowadays you still can get food poisoning, like were in the 20th century he thought as he slowly got dressed. After he was dressed he stepped in the lounge. "Morning dear"; he said as he kissed Tiffani on the cheek "Morning"; she replied "And morning to you sweetie", he said to Amilea "And how are you feeling today Felix"; Tiff asked "Much better", he said As he walked over to the replicator and asked for an apple. Oh well not as bad as it could be he thought as he began to eat the apple. <Tag Tiffani>After he finished speaking to Tiffani he made way out of his quarters and proceeded to the turbo lift. He decided he will check on RA Keztrek later but now first thing he needed to do is check on the ship. As he entered the lift and ordered it to go to the bridge. A few moments later the lift came to a stop and Felix went out. When he stepped on the bridge he saw lt.cmdr. Worton sitting in the center chair. "Morning sir", he said getting up "No needs to jump Cmdr. just continue as you were I’m just here to check on things", Felix said "I understand sir"; he said as he sat back down "So where are we?", Felix asked "We have just arrived at Tzenketh sir"; Worton replied "Great, means we can get started with the science stuff. Is the senior staff having a meeting?"; Felix asked "Yes they are, they just entered the briefing room", Worton replied "Good, ill be in there if you need me", Felix said as he went towards the briefing room "Understood sir"; Worton said as he sat back down When Felix entered the lounge everyone turned to see who came in when they saw it was him they all greeted him. "Just kept the chair warm for you sir"; Wood said to him as he began to get up "You can continue doing so"; Felix said "I'm still not up to date with everything that’s happening so you can just continue ill just stand there"; he said, "after all of that lying around a bit of standing will do me good", Felix finished After the briefing was over everyone left the lounge including Felix. The team members went down to the shuttle bay to prepare for the away mission and the rest of them got back to the bridge. "Ensign", Felix said to the man at the helm "After the shuttle departs go to a high orbit we don't want them to see us as a comet and think that were bringing the apocalypse"; Felix said and laughed "Yes sir"; the ensign said "Mr. Wood you have the bridge, I’ll be in sickbay if you need me", Felix said as he left the bridge via the turbolift.

After a long days work on the sensors with J'Leera Luke left the room after saying goodbye to his colleague and headed for the mess hall.
Luke entered the mess hall and ordered a plate of Earth Pasta. He carried the hot plate over to a table and noticed Danny and Rye nearby. He smiled and waved and planned to sit seperately as he was tired and probably no good for coversation.
Luke smiled again. He may as well. He sat down next to Danny and after a forkfull of the pasta he answered Danny's question.
"Im well thanks Danny, a bit tired and the day has been long!" He ate another forkfull of pasta and the conversation continued. They discussed the new mission and how good it would be to have a nice simple - no danger mission.
After a while, once they had finished their meals Luke excused himself as he could feel his eyes drooping.
"Take it easy guys!" He said before leaving.
Arriving at his quaters Luke snuggled up on his bed with his favourite book from Earth, a classic in its own right. He fell asleep and awoke to find his head stuck to a few of the pages.
We climbed off his bed, very stiff from sleeping in such an odd position and got himself ready for duty.
He arrived at the morning briefing and was pleased to hear he would be piloting the shuttle. He hadnt flown one in ages and it was such a liberating feeling compared to a Starship.
He left the briefing, not talking to anyone, feeling more and more distant, and so headed for the Shuttlebay to prep the shuttle.
He enetered the Shuttlebay and was greeted by Lt. Max Bower.
"Hey Commander! Whats hapnin!" Max called, loud as usual.
"Morning Max, everything fine down here I presume?" Luke enquired.
"Yes sir. Everythings fine down here. I live Shuttlecraft Dauntless for you to prep Sir. I know you like to do that for yourself!" Max smiled and walked off whistling to a console in the far right of the room.
Luke moved over to the Dauntless and began the usual sequences to get a shuttle up and ready.
Eventually he was done and the rest of the away team had arrived. They all climbed in and Luke launched the Dauntless after recieving clearance from the Bridge and Shuttle control.
The craft zoomed beautifully out of the shuttlebay. Luke couldnt help buyt laugh quietly to himself. Everything was so real and vivid when you were this close to what you were flying. Luke began to whistle and was vaguely aware of Danny's troubles with the suit behind him. He was quite sad that he would not be joining them on this mission.
Luke landed the shuttlecraft in a cave far enough away from the settlement and shut down all power. He opened the hatch door and allowed everyone to leave.
Buster turned to Luke and asked if he wished to join them. Luke smiled greatfully and said he would be delighted to join them. Putting on a suit and making sure the shuttlecraft was secure Luke shut the hatch and moved some dead foliage around it. It was by far not a perfect disguise but it may fool someone from a distance.
Luke activated his suit and visor and saw that he could see his crewmates wuite easily. They left the cave and headed for the settlement. Luke was nervously excited.

"And don't forget to check up with my assistent every now and then when I'm away, especially if you are feeling unwell." Buster told Felix.
Felix nodded, and Buster injected the medicine.
"Okay, I'm glad you are feeling better" Buster said, and dismissed Savali from sickbay.
Savali was about to leave the room when Buster called him back. "I've also prescriped you a diet", Buster said, and handed a pad over to Savali. You should be careful with what you eat for the short future.
Savali nodded while taking the pad, thanked Buster, and left sickbay.
_______________________________________
(On the planet)
The cloaking suit was really weird. Buster liked the idea of being invisible. Now he could study all he wanted without anyone noticing. As long as he didn't walk into anyone of course.
He nodded to the other cloaked crewmembers, and they entered the village, not by the main road, but by a muddy sidepath.
Like usual when on an away mission, Buster bumped his toe painfully against a rock, lying on the short mud path. He was making a habit of it.
The village was looking really pieceful. He had seen a similiar village back on earth. Though this one looked so much more medieval. Not a sign of modern technology, or tourists with photocamera's on every corner. In fact, there seemed to be no-one up yet.
A bell sounded, almost giving Buster an heart attack. For a moment he thought they were spotted. It turned out to be the morning bell, and the door of the house to the right of Buster opened. A villager came out. It was a tall man, even taller than Buster, who wasn't that small himself. He was wearing strange clothes, but they looked quite comfortable. Must be working clothes, Buster thought to himself.
The man left around the corner. Buster looked at the rest of the group. "Should we follow him?" Buster asked, quietly. (Though the camouflage suits had comlinks and dampened any sound the wearer made, he still wanted to be careful).
The other crewmembers hestitated for a while, and Buster was afraid of losing the man. Then, suddenly, more doors opened, and they were surrounded by numbers of villagers that seemed to mind their own business, not having a clue about the presence of the starfleet officers.
Danny made a small jump aside to prevent a villager from stepping on his foot. Buster couldn't help but grin.
Villagers everywhere... now where to start his research? He decided to start by making some scans of the villagers. Maybe he could find out something interesting about these humanlike lifeforms...

Off: Thnx for the initiative of keeping the mission thread clean of off topic posts Danny After Felix left the bridge and entered the turbolift he ordered it to sickbay. While the lift was going he was thinking about the recent happenings once more. They were not of the simple sort that someone would be able to throw out of their thoughts easily they were more complex and as much as he might have tried to he wasn't able to rid his minds of them. He was much more keen on accepting the facts that aside of everything he did, that aside of it he was meant to be and is a father, he was much calmer with that and happy about it, and if it wasn't for Vic who knows what he might have done. That program got him over some rough times in the past and now it got him over some again. He was so deeply submerged into his thoughts that he didn't even notice that the lift arrived at it's destination till one of the lieutenants from engineering that was trying to get on the lift asked him if he was fine. "Yes, yes I’m fine lieutenant"; he answered And proceeded down the corridor leaving a lieutenant a bit baffled. So he proceeded to sickbay and after a bit more of walking he arrived there. He entered and was greeted by the EMH. Seems like Buster did not want to leave the admiral unattended so he activated the EMH. "Please state the nature of the medical emergency", the EMH said "No emergency I'm only here to check on admiral Keztrek", Felix said "Well she still has food poisoning if you were asking if she’s cured yet"; the EMH said "However I have one request for you"; the EMH said "Yes doctor", Felix said as he was looking at him "Could you please get one of the engineers to sort out my program so that i do not need to say please state the nature of the medical emergency each time I’m activated and someone enters through that door", the EMH said Felix was at first shocked that the EMH wanted this sorted out, but a few moments later he realized that after a number of hours of work the EMH develops its personality and expands it's program. "Not a problem doctor, I’ll sort out your program myself"; Felix said "Yourself? Are you sure you know what to do", the doctor asked looking worried "OF course I do, I used to be an ops officer"; Felix responded "AH,", the doctor replied looking relived as Felix moved over to the console "Let's see"; he said as he was pressing some keys, "ok activation verbiage, patient relations ...", he was saying as he was going through the program removing that sentence that the doctor found annoying. After a few minutes he said: "Ok, there you go, all sorted out, i even added a little something extra, you can activate and deactivate yourself now", Felix said "Thank you"; the doctor said as he went over to give another shot of the medicine to Keztrek who was sleeping "Stop by later when she’s awake then you will be able to talk to her"; the EMH told Felix while he was preparing a hyposprey "Fine doctor", Felix said as he went out of sickbay and towards the bridge. After another walk through the corridors and a short stop to check on his daughter, Felix arrived to the bridge. "Status report, Mr. Wood", Felix said "All is looking good so far"; he replied "The team safely landed and entered the village, no problems so far.", Wood responded "Good", Felix said as he sat down "Counselor, are you receiving the data feed?", Felix asked her <Tag Tiffani>“Mr. Thirteen, everything looking non threatening so far?”, Felix asked the security expert who was scanning the are where the away team was and monitoring the landing place so that the locals wouldn’t find the shuttle <Tag Thirteen>After she informed him that the feed was fine so far he relaxed a bit and began to think of this mission and how it was nice to have a peaceful mission for once.

OFF - Aren't I an idiot...I never saw Luke's post, and therefore, screwed a heck of a lot of occurances up I'll fix up the changes by tomorrow, but I have an exam to study for right now. ON Rye had enjoyed the meal with his friends, and eventually left to check up on things in engineering. As he walked down through the corridors of the Akira-class vessel, he noticed that on of the lighting units on Deck 4 was malfunctioning. He stopped for a moment and looked at it. It flickered unsteadily, and finally gave out, leaving a dark spot in the usually flat light area. Rye proceeded down to engineering, and picked up a toolkit and a replacement LRG. He returned to the corridor, and looked at the light. Active again. Indeed it was very odd. (=/\=) "Wick to Commander Fitzpatrick""Fitzpatrick here, go ahead sakula""The Ops console on the bridge is flickering, and I'm having a hard time controling the vessel.""Understood, Fitzpatrick out." (=/\=)"Wick to Commander Fitzpatrick""Computer, isolate Operations controls and power systems, Authorization TRT Beta 72. Disconnect from primary and auxilliary network.""Authorization confirmed, Operations console offline.""Computer, divert Operations funtions to Science control station.""Controls added to science station. Bridge notified of change."Rye hurrined up to the bridge, and scanned the disabled ops console. The tricorder ran over the systems, and detected a small power surge. The commander picked up, and detacthed the severed console, and had it taken off the bridge. "Lt. bring it down to science lab 1, but isolate the console so it can't discharge itself.""Aye, commander."Rye left the bridge, and went to Cargo Bay 1 to pick up a new Ops console from storage. He followed the roster, and found the container. Rye locked on to the unit with the transporter system, and beamed it on to the bridge so he could install it. Rye returned to the bridge, and connected the new console to its spot next to the helm. Rye ran standard diagnostics on the console, and it checked out. Finished, Rye left the Bridge, and arrived at his quarters. HHe changed into his night clothes, and quickly fell asleep. The next morning, he woke up abruptly at 06:00, and got up. he went to the sonic shower, and shaved. After getting into his uniform, Rye went down to Engineering to get his cloaking suit. He picked it out of storage, and saw that the other suits were sill there. Rye carried his down to the shuttlebay to get prepped. He ate a quick breakfast before getting the cloaking suit on, then helped bring the necessary supplies onboard. They would need to build a small observation base on the surface, and it would need to be well hidden, and not be able to be accidentaly discovered. They would set up a hologenerator, and beam large portions of rock out of the mountainside. the base would be constructed inside the opening, and a hologenerator would camoflague the base. Most of the materials were now onboard the specially equipped cargo shuttle, and Rye began to get the shuttle systems online. As he sat in the pilots seat, Danny entered the shuttlebay, dragging his cloaking suit behind him. He climbed into the shuttle, and greeted Rye. Rye had finished the preflight checklist, and moved over into the co-pilots seat as Luke Dowding came into the bay. He was followed quickly by Dr. Buster, and Commander Laika. they all got their suits on, and climbed into the shuttle craft. Luke sat down into the pilot's seat, and initialized controls. "Morning Luke. How are you?""Hey, morning Rye. Not bad. A little excited about this mission.""Yeah I know what you mean. Hey J'leera, doc."Both acknowledged him, and sat dow in the passenger seats. Rye told Luke that he'd completed the pre-flight checklist, and that they were fully loaded. Luke powered the shuttle's engines, and it began to lift of the ground. (=/\=) "Shuttle Dauntless, prepared to depart, bridge." Rye contacted the bridge. "Understood Dauntless, shuttle doors opening." Commander Savali responded. "Confirmed Bridge, Shuttle Dauntless, leaving Tiger-Shark. Halo out." (=/\=)Luke piloted the shuttle out of the shuttlebay, and into the orbit of Tzenkethi. Rye initialized the cloaking systems, and the lights in the shuttle changed to a dim blue. The shuttle headed towards a village on one of the continents, and thrusted through the atmosphere. Halo went to above tree level, and Luke searched for a preferable landing site. After a few moments, he found the co-ordinates, and set the shuttle down. "Ok, I just ran a scan, no one is close enough to see us get out. Everyone initialize cloaking suits."The 5 officers all engaged their cloaking systems, and left the shuttle to begin scouting around the planet's surface.

Off: YES! I've got tickets to see Queen live in Ahoy Rotterdam (the Netherlands) on their European Tour. I was soooo lucky. The concert was sold out in 8 minutes. I've got wonderful seats! 26 April 2005 is the big day.
*looks around* Just had to say that. *wanders off, back to the mission at hand*
Danny was a little on edge. The villagers seemed harmless enough, though they were taller than the average human being. Danny looked around quickly and he estimated that the average Tzenkethi was about 2 metres in length and most were rather strongly built. Then again, they did everything manually so it was only logical to suppose that they would have strong bodies. They seemed such a peacful people, but Danny's reflexes kicked in nonetheless. After all, he was responsible for the direct safety of the team.
Buster's voice came over the built-in comm-link. ^They don't seem to have noticed us. They're on about their business and will probably soon get to work. How about splitting up into teams?^ Danny wasn't happy about the idea of splitting up but he realised that his fear was baseless. There was nothing to fear down here. He really needed to relax. ^All right,^ he answered. ^I'll take J'Leera and Rye, Doc, you and Luke can go the other way.^ He heard murmered sounds of assent coming over the comm-link and both teams went their way.
J'Leera, Rye and Danny moved further into the village, while Buster and Luke went to the outskirts to watch the people work.
It was still early in the morning, but the entire village was up and running. The morning bell had awakened them and everywhere they could see people walking, talking and laughing. Mothers were feeding todlers and some older children were playing in the streets. Once, Rye had to duck and take cover when one of the children passed a ball a little too close to his head. A pack of screaming and laughing kids went after it and the team just had time to jump aside. Danny's reflexes calmed down. There really was nothing to fear down here and he started enjoying himself thoroughly. He loved kids, had always loved him and he had promised himself that he would one day get married and have at least five of the little wriggeling, screaming creatures himself. A large family was what he had always dreamed of.
J'Leera's voice woke him up and shook him gently out o his daydream. ^Are you coming? There's lots and lots to see here you know^ Danny acknowledges her and tore himself away from the playing children. He would come back day after day to see them play.
The team moved on. Danny got a close look at the houses and other buildings in the town. It was remarkable. The houses were plain and simple and made of wood. They had thatched roofs and relatively big windows, which could be closed with blinds for the night or the winter. They looked decent and comfortable. Danny walked up to one of the houses and peeked in through one of the windows. The inside was simple too. There was a fire place in the middle of the largest room and several doorways were visible in the dim light. A woman was cooking something in a large iron pot hanging above the fire.
The centre of the village was a large, round square with a high, elaborately carved wooden pole, very similar to a totem pole, in the exact centre. The carvings depicted fights between large beasts and humanoid figures with swords and spears. There were also marks which looked like runes. They probably told the stories behind the images. The square was surrounded by benches, adorned with the same elaborate carvings as the totem pole. The place was obviously used as a town assembly area. On one side of the assembly area, a large wooden building towered over everything else. It's fronts and sides were adorned with the same kinds of images as on the poles, but they were also briliantly painted. The work had obviously been done by master craftsmen or women. They had found the perfect balance between the different colors and everything felt so right and was so pleasing to the eye that Danny gazed at it open-mouthed and speechless. He could sense his team mates' astonishment as well. After a few minutes of suspense, Rye broke the silence. ^I guess that's where their chief or chiefs or village elders live^ J'Leera and Danny concurred. The feeling of annoyance directed at Starfleet for pulling them away from their vacation had left Danny the second they had set foot on the planet surface, and now he was even greatful that Starfleet had given them the chance to be the first to see this, to be the first to document it.
Danny tapped his comm badge
=^=Löhnen to Tigershark=^=
=^=Lieutenant Commander Thirteen here, go ahead Danny=^=
=^=Are our camera's working Thirteen?=^=
He could here Thirteen's efficient answer coming back to him.
=^=Yes, they are functioning within normal parametres. We have a clear picture up here=^=
=^=Are you seeing what we're seeing?=^=
Thirteen's efficient voice again came over the comm.
=^=The cameras are functioning within normal parametres, the logical conclusion would be yes, we are seeing what you are seeing=^=
Danny couldn't help but smile and he heard Rye and J'Leera, who had overheard the conversation because Danny had forgotten to turn off his comm-link sniggering. Rye joined in.
=^=But Thirteen, isn't it wonderful down here?=^=
=^=We have a clear undistorted picture and it is indeed.............pleasing=^=
Danny could here J'Leera making a serious effort not to roll on the ground laughing. They could also here several Bridge crew members expressing mirth about Thirteen's semi-emotionless replies. They knew he tried to undeerstand emotion, but he still had a long way to go. Commander Wood took over.
=^=Wood to away team. The picture is wonderful. I can't wait to get to the surface myself. Perhaps Thirteen here would learn from the experience. Gather as much data as you can, I need you back here for assessment and debriefing at 1800, make the most of your time. Tigershark out.=^=
Danny, J'Leera and Rye resumed their studies. Danny wondered how the other team were doing.

Felix was, as most likely everyone else of the bridge crew, observing the video feeds coming from the planet surface. The main viewer was divided in 5 parts and was displaying what each of the away team members saw as the cameras were positioned in such a manner that they would record what the person was looking at. As the away team approached what appeared to be the central square, the surroundings became more and more beautiful.
With each step closer to the central square the view gave them more and more info about the life of these people and it was a sight to remember. When the team started to look at the, what appeared to be, a totem Felix noticed the runes or inscriptions alongside of the pictures.
"Mr. Thirteen make sure you save those inscriptions to a separate file and put it through the universal translator, perhaps we will be able to decipher their writing.", Felix said
"I am already doing so commander"; Thirteen replied
After saying that Felix diverted his eyes back to the main viewer as the team was observing the area. A few moments later came a transmission from the away team which was dealt with swiftly by John.
"I could almost go away on vacation and leave all of the work to you John"; Felix said jokingly
"Well you were ill, no need to get you over worked right away", Wood replied
Felix shocked his head as he smiled and began to look at the view screen again, then something else came up to him.
=/\=Savali to Mr. Löhnen=/\=
=/\=Löhnen here go ahead=/\=
=/\=Try to give as a view of what their houses look like from the inside=/\=
=/\=Understood, we will try, Löhnen out=/\=
Wood was looking at Felix when he finished the talk with Löhnen.
"We might get a better idea of how they live that way", Felix said as Wood looked back on the view screen
Felix diverted his eyes towards the images coming from Buster and Luke. They were heading towards the outskirts of the town where there was a river flowing and fields, on which the people were growing different cultures. There were some plants which were similar like those found on most other worlds but there were some peculiar plants as well.
=/\=Savali to Luke and Buster=/\=
=/\=We're here go ahead=/\=, same the response
=/\=Mr. Buster make sure you get a good scan of the villagers so that we can learn their body structure, and try to get a scan of both the males and the females both grownups and children=/\=, Felix said
=/\=Understood, Buster out=/\=
=/\=And Mr. Dowding see if you can get us a scans of the plant life and any animals you might encounter=/\=
=/\=I'll do my best, Dowding out=/\=
Then he turned towards Tiffani who was analyzing the scans that came in so far.
“How’s the analysis coming up Counselor?”
<Tag Tiffani>.
After giving these additional orders to the away team, and hearing about the scan analysis, Felix sat back and relaxed while looking at the beautiful sights which could be seen on the planet surface.

----In Her Quarters---- After he was dressed he stepped in the lounge.
"Morning dear"; he said as he kissed Tiffani on the cheek
"Morning"; she replied
"And morning to you sweetie", he said to Amilea
"And how are you feeling today Felix"; Tiff asked
"Much better", he said
As he walked over to the replicator and asked for an apple. Oh well not as bad as it could be he thought as he began to eat the apple.
*she smiled inwardly* thats good
After she was finished feeding amilea and eating her breakfast she turned on the holonanny and made sure she knew where all of Amiliea's belongings where she smiled as she watched felix already leave for his shift, she finished telling the nanny what she needed to know then gave amilea one last little kiss on the forehead before heading to the turbolift
As she entered she laid against the panelling of the turbolift and ordered it to the bridge, she was exhausted by knew she had duties to attend to maybe just maybe this mission wouldn't be so rough on the crew she thought. just as she was in mid though the doors slid open and the bridge came to display for her,
----On the Bridge----
*Tiffani had received her orders and was watching the data feeds as they came in when she suddenly heard felix's voice,
"Counselor, are you receiving the data feed?", Felix asked her
Yes there coming in good. seems to be a pretty simple planet she replied, she went back to the data analying as felix went aobut giving out orders, she was proud of him and of herself it seemed as though they had both come a long way sense when the first met on the Victory, for a moment her thoughts drift back to the old victory crew, she wonder how captain riker was doing and if he had heard word of her and felix's baby, she made note to send him a letter later on. as she was watching the data and thinking she heard felix's voice again
Then he turned towards Tiffani who was analyzing the scans that came in so far.
“How’s the analysis coming up Counselor?”
Good, really good, from what i can tell they have a lot of plant life like we did in the early 20th centuries she replied

J'Leera was very surprised once they got down to the surface. She had not really been looking forward to the mission, instead she had imagining all sorts of hideous creatures that would jump out and eat them the moment they materialized on the surface. Much to her surprise though, everything seemed very much at peace, as did the people who lived there. They did not seem fearful of anything and she could not see any signs of weapons in the area at all. Perhaps this mission won't be so bad afterall, she thought.
On their way over to the village, she kept her eyes open and examined the area carefully. There were many large trees scattered about similar to Terran oak trees, but there was very little underbrush. There were no saplings either. She also noted that the soil seemed a little dry due to a high sand content, much like one would expect to find on a mountain.
They continued on and soon reached the outside of the village. There they stopped awhile and observed the people as they went about their usual routines. They seemed fairly ordinary and looked like a peaceful group, but also looked like they could fight if needed. But they weren't here to fight them, so it did not matter.
They then began to move on and she noticed that Danny wasn't paying attention to them. She quietly called to him and he came, then she saw that he had been watching the children playing and she wondered what the game was called. So much to learn, so little time, she said to herself.
Soon they saw a large wooden structure with carved figures on it. J'Leera used her tricorder to make a holo-image of the object for further study back on the ship. She noticed that there were markings on the side and she wondered if this were some sort of writing.
Over to the side of the buildings she saw several small animals and she went for a closer look.
"What is it J'Leera?" Danny asked.
"I'm not sure," she said and began scanning it. The creature looked up in her direction and she froze, but then calmed down when its gaze turned to something off in the distance. The creature was similar to a small deer, but had several boad white stripes runing along its back and side. Its eyes were a pale pink, a feature often seen in albino animals, but this animal was no albino. Pink was obviously its natural eye color.
"I wonder if it's a pet?" Rye speculated.
"I don't know," she said. "It's here for a reason though. It's so close to the center of town." She put down her tricorder. "Come on, let's see what else we can find."

The woman's gaze was fixed on him, her arms outstretched, reaching for him.
*Regeneration cycle complete,* the computer informed Thirteen, whose eyes snapped open.
That was strange, Thirteen's memorycells processed, I must have mister Fitzpatrick look at my alcove.
There had been drones aboard his cube that had similar occurances during their regeneration. It was a failure in the alcove's matrix, causing images from memorychips to be rerouted via the visual nervesystem, causing a sort of dream. The technical difficulty would be solved immediately, and if it happened too often to the same drone they would be 'removed'.
Thirteen did wonder where he'd ever seen the woman before. His database came up with no equivalents.
Exactly on time for duty Thirteen entered the bridge, and gave commander Wood a greeting nod.
He took place behind the security console.
A few minutes later he monitored the arrival of the away team. As expected Luke'd undetected landed the shuttle on the planet's surface.
The mainscreen was now filled with the vision of the officers down on the planet.
''Mister Thirteen, everything looking non threatening so far?'' Felix asked.
''Yes sir, the village appears to be inactive,'' Thirteen replied.
Via the mainscreen Thirteen observed Danny, J'Leera and Rye enter the vilage.
After Danny's commcall Thirteen puzzled why Danny was so keen on implying the 'beauty' of the village.
Thirteen could notice the simple efficiency in the construction of the local establishments, yet saw now rellevance to it's 'beauty'.
Of course he noticed the smirking officers, but he ignored them, not being able to link their behaviour to his response.
''Sir,'' Thirteen began, approaching commander Savali, ''I find myself to be in an inefficient position at the moment, and I would like to be granted permission to join the away team.''
Savali raised his eyebrows and looked at Thirteen. ''You want to go down to the planet too commander?''
Thirteen nodded. ''Yes sir, with your permission. I am of more use monitoring the away team on the planet itself. If I were to discover any form of danger concerning our officers I would arrive at the scene too late if I would need to come from up here.''

Just as the team started to move again and Thirteen finished another scan of the area to make sure the team was safe and unseen from the locals, which was logical since they did have cloaking suits on them. Thirteen had a request.
Thirteen nodded. ''Yes sir, with your permission. I am of more use monitoring the away team on the planet itself. If I were to discover any form of danger concerning our officers I would arrive at the scene too late if I would need to come from up here.''
Felix took a moment to consider, the request Thirteen made did have a certain amount of logic in itself but then again there was the, at first sight, safe environment down bellow. After considering it for a few moments Felix decided it was fine for Thirteen to go down and join the away team.
"Very well Mr. Thirteen, you may join the away team, but you will not be taking another shuttle down as there’s enough risk with having one down there another would only increase the risk.", Felix said
"You will transport down to the safe distance from the village. Get you're gear and report to transporter room 2, and don't forget to put your suit on before you beam down. ", Felix said, with the last part meant as a joke but he was pretty sure Thirteen did not get it
<Tag Thirteen>
As Thirteen went of the bridge Felix moved to inform the team that Thirteen was coming down to join them. After that was done, he again diverted his view towards the view screen. He was glad that there weren't any problems so far and hopped that the whole mission would end in such a manner.
"Mr. Wood, what is your opinion of this new culture which we are here to observe, do you find it interesting?", Felix asked diverting his view towards John
<Tag Wood, also anybody else>

After grabbing one from the armory Thirteen donned the cloakingsuit, and activated it. The result caught Thirteen by surprise; he could no longer detect a visual confirmance of his arms.
A moment later, when Thirteen'd solved his puzzlement, and'd come to the conclusion that of course the suit was working and also the reason his arms were no longer visible.
He looked around and took a phaser rifle from it's canister, and stored it in his transporterbuffer.
He deactivated the suit, and exited the armory to find his way to transporter room 2.
=/\=Commander Thirteen to the bridge, requesting permission for transport. =/\=
=/\=Granted commander, good luck, Savali out. =/\=
Thirteen walked onto the transporter and was carried away by the blue beam, only to rematerialize next to a big stone that lonely covered the outstretching plain of grass.
=/\= Thirteen to the Tiger Shark, I have arrived and my cloakingsuit was activated before transport. =/\=
=/\= Very well mister Thirteen, =/\= Savali said supressing a laugh, =/\= join up with the away team, they seem to have split up, I suggest you join misters Buster and Dowding, they are currently observing the villagers at work. =/\=
=/\=Understood commander, Thirteen out. =/\=
He took out a tricorder, and immediately put it back again. Apparently the cloakingsuits matrix had not been optimised that held tools were also shielded.
Carefully Thirteen scanned the area, but he saw noone. Then he crouched next the the stone, and took out the tricorder. It took only seconds before he saw Mathijs and Luke's location, and he put the device away again.
He got up, stretched his legs, wondered why he did that, and began moving in the direction the tricorder'd just told him to go.
His processors apparently ran smoothly today; just in time Thirteen'd managed to duck and evade a flying object that came straight at his face.
He heard excited laughter and observed two small beings coming his way, apparently running after the object they just threw.
''Here it comes,'' the small being said. He looked like a normal earthern child, yet he was relatively broadshoulderd and muscular for his age. Gray pupils danced inside his eyes as he pointed to something just over Thirteen's heard.
''You'll never catch it! It's too fast!'' a girl said. She stood next to the boy and was watching the same thing. She had very long red hair that came close to her ankles. It danced in the soft, warm breeze that casted over the land.
Thirteen stepped aside and lookd up. An oval formed disk came down with astonishing speed. It was brown colored with red stripes running through it.
In a flash of a second the disk seemed as if it was going to crush the boy it flew straight at, yet in an incomprehendable moment the boy was standing there with the disk in his hand as if it'd never been airborne.
''Wow,'' the girl said with big eyes, ''can I try?''
The boy shook his head. ''It's too dangerous.'' ''Is it because I'm a girl?'' the girl demanded. ''Well no, but...'' the boy stammered, ''alright.''
He handed her the object. And before Thirteen could witness it seared trough the sky again. ''Wow,'' the boy said impressed, ''where did you learn that.''
As elegant as a cat the girl retrieved the disk from the air again.
''Practise is a good teacher,'' she quoted. The boy just looked, and raised his shoulders. ''I guess... want to go for a swim?'' he asked. ''Yes!'' the girl said.
The two broke into a run again and soon disappeared over a small hill.
Thirteen made notes troughout his observement. Incredible enhanced senses and anatomic construction. Very dexterous and witty.
The two children had impressed Thirteen, though he did not realise that.
He moved on while he tried to recalibrate his cloakingsuit. Finally it worked, and Thirteen took a shot at his tricorder. It was invisible now. Completely invisible.
Now I cannot monitor it's screen, Thirteen thought, still going in the right direction. He put it away again and saw the place Mathijs and Luke were supposed to be. He couldn't detect them.
''Hey watch it Thirteen!'' Thirteen heard Buster's voice exclaiming as Thirteen had rudely bumped into him.
''My apologies lieutenant, my cloackingsuit appears not to have been calibrated as it should be, therefore I could not detect you.''
''That's alright, here.'' Buster apparently pressed a button on Thirteen's suit and the two fellow officers appeared in view. As did his arms.
''Thank you,'' Thirteen said. ''You're welcome.'' ''Now let's get back to work,'' Luke said. Thirteen nodded. ''Agreed.''
