Ah, Ex Astris Scientia, always been the website I've referred to for checking on bridge designs. Thanks for the links, the first one I always go searching for, makes better sense to have it here on the boards lol.

Right, I do too, this way we have it close and anyone else can see our ship.

Does anyone have an idea about which of the three sections (during MVAM) contains the sickbay? I'm guessing it is the first section, with the bridge, considering sickbay is usually quite high up in starships. Is it ever established in canon or expanded universe which section it's in? Could be useful for upcoming mission events edit: Lol I've got it. It's in the second section, on deck 2 just behind the secondary bridge.

Makes sense for all three sections to have a sickbay..though MAIN sickbay is probably on the primary section, main engineering on the tertiary

Studying the schematic at the top of the page, I finally figured out lol that main sickbay is just within the secondary hull (see Hood's post opening this thread). I have a plan to put into action for the next post or two, involving sickbay in particular after the MVAM separation has taken place, while we attempt to evade the Scimitar-type Warbird's cloaked attacks.

Are there any other sickbays or medical offices on the other sections?

Beautiful work, Lieutenant. I've always had beef with the size of the crew compliment on some of these smaller ships (and yes the Prometheus class is considered one of the "smaller" ships). Always seems so skeletal.
Wow! I've got soooooooo many marines. Time for a mutiny bahahaha

You're right, that is a lot of marines... The Athena Specification had 80 marines; I thought that was too many. I assume the Athena had to deal with a large number of hostile situations, so they would have had a larger complement. Say these numbers are the standard complement for a hostile mission. Our own crew complement is presumably much lower at the present time. Here I've collated some of the named crew from the last few missions (M7,M8,Disaster,M9) docs.google.com/document/d/1uxUVhAbesNJ7fs61GYbhwyytYoimC21_bC_A4wz3s7kPM me for editing rights for either document. There have been some other names in some of the posts, which I've missed. On the subject of sickbay, it makes sense that there would be more than one. In the Athena spec: - Deck 3 - Medical Bay (saucer section)
- Deck 5 - Main Sickbay, and supporting medical facilities (upper engineering hull) - central to the ship - as per the image posted by Allan at the start of this thread.
- Deck 10 - Medical Bay (lower engineering hull)
I think: With 12 medical crew on board, they would be based in and around the main sick bay, working in shifts of 4. The smaller medical bays on decks 3 and 10 would have sufficient medical facilities and equipment to treat wounds, maybe with one or two bio-beds. During MVAM, each section of the hull would have access to an EMH: A long-term Mk V in main sickbay, and two-short term Mk IV EMH's (for the saucer section, I created "EMH Sam Reynolds"). The Prometheus class has holo-emitters throughout the ship. Sick bay has a secondary holo-system capable of running independently of the ship-wide system, as do the holo-lab, holodecks, and the two medical bays. The Enzio will have processes in place for non medical crew in each section of the ship to be medically trained using the equipment in each medical bay, in case the medical holo-systems fail. If we were dealing with a large scale medical emergency, we could have a "Hospital" program we could run on the holodeck, or empty a cargo bay, so we could treat a lot of people at the same time.
