"Katie I can always turn this ship around and take you back to star base just let me know."
Katie didn't want to seem like she couldn't take it but the truth was that she couldn't. She had reached her limit and even with the medication the doctor had given her she was starting to feel ill.
"I think that's a good idea." Katie said.
She did her best to try and not sound ill but she knew Pride probably already knew that she wasn't feeling good. Katie felt the ship level off and head in a straight for the star base. The ride back was smooth and quiet which was what Katie needed to get her nerves back.
After a few minutes Pride had parked the fighter and Katie stepped out. She knew that he was going to head back out and finish his test of the fighter but Katie worried that the connection with it might consume him. She hoped that he wouldn't notice but she left a small device to monitor his vital signs just in case something bad happened.
"I hope you feel better Katie." Pride said.
"Thanks." Katie replied with a smile.
Slowly she turned and walked out of the hanger and back onto what she felt was more stable ground. She leaned up against the hallway wall and waited until her stomach stopped doing flips before she would go back to the OPS deck and finish her work.

“Do you still think joining Starfleet was the best decision you could have made?” Maria asked.
“Always,” Illito replied. Losing the Scavenger hadn't really changed any of that.
“Do you have any friends or family still on Cardassia?”
“Just my brother. And, well, his wife, but I've never met her.” Illito had the feeling that the counselor was making up for the fact that the Scavenger hadn't had a counselor, and therefore Illito hadn't seen one since she was a student at Starfleet Academy, by asking more questions than any single counseling session should need. Illito was trying to just answer the questions without second-guessing her answers, but knowing she was being analyzed didn't help.
“How long has it been since you've visited Cardassia? Or seen your brother at all?”
Illito frowned slightly. That was two questions, and she didn't think that set a good precedent. Or else the counselor would just keep tacking on questions without giving Illito a chance to answer them. Illito might have a very good memory, but she still didn't want to have to restate questions just to make it clear which she was answering. However, for this particular question the answers were the same. “Three and a half years.”
And why did Illito get the feeling that Maria disapproved of her answer? Maybe because Illito herself wasn't happy with it, and therefore was projecting her feelings onto the counselor, since Maria seemed to be reacting fairly sympathetically. Illito sighed softly, and tried to focus on just answering the questions. She really didn't need to psycho-analyze herself. “Is anything wrong?” Maria asked.
“No,” Illito replied.
“Do you mind me asking why you haven't been back?”
“No, I don't. Cardassia isn't exactly the most pleasant of places to visit, or to live on. My brother loves it so much, and I think sometimes that I disappointed him by leaving. But sometimes, in our more recent conversations, I can hear in his voice that—while he still loves it as much as he ever has—he doesn't think he can do anything to help the current situation. And that hurts. When we talk he talks more about how he wants to have a family than what he's doing with his job. It feels less like I'm missing a part of his life than that he's stopped caring as much about that part. And it's so easy to get busy and find excuses and reasons why I can't go. Even though we've flown right by Cardassia many times.”

Receiving the "go-ahead" from Parsons, Daya started to work on a program to scramble the information about the Klingon birds of prey and battle strategy. He continually had to look over his shoulder to make sure he wasn't being watched, and hid the fact he was doing so by rubbing his shoulders to indicate they were sore. Working diligently to hide his program he nicknamed "the Wrym," Daya continued to update a few other systems. At times Daya had a few close calls when Lt Koar would look over and ask him about a systems he was updating, to which replied in Klingon in order to practice, if it weren't for his looks as a human he would be easily mistaken as a Klingon.
In the middle of his programming, Daya encoded a message which he sent to Katie, who Daya knew was back because he had been monitoring the craft she and Pride had taken. He hoped that if he sent the message repeatedly on different signal patterns to get the message to her, she would be able to decipher it and help him.

Parsons did his best to supervise the systems enhancements and espionage, while keeping the Klingon officers' attention elsewhere. He had on several occasions now regaled the bridge crew with past exploits on the USS El Salvador. The Klingons' favorite war story, however, was the Scavenger's most recent adventure and the destruction of the ship in that last desperate battle.
Meanwhile, Commander Daya worked diligently on "the Wrym" with the assistance of Captain Hunter.
While the Klingons were once again distracted Parsons discreetly made his way over to Daya. "Commander, how are those updates coming?" Parsons was visibly impatient now and growing annoyed. While there was much about the Klingons that the Scavenger XO admired, he did not particularly enjoy their company, especially while he was spying on them.

With Katie back on star base and solid ground he took the ship out again, This time he wasn't holding back and pushed her to the limit. The ship was like a glove it fitted him well and responded just as quickly. I wanting to check the cloak he engaged and turned around and head back to do a fly by of the station and the klingon ship to see if they picked up on him.
He was pretty sure the base might but the klingons might not and that was worth knowing. This way they would know how far advanced the cloak was to the klingons. signaling katie so she would be aware and head of any alarms from star base he slowed down and apporached the klingon on ship and listened on the com channel, there was no limit to what this ship could do.

Katie had just gotten back to her quarters to lay down for a bit when her computer started to talk to her. She looked longingly at her bed and began to dream about how wonderful it would be to be able to take a nap. Instead she had to settle for just being able to kick off her shoes while she was at home.
In the living room the computer continued its relentless beeping. Katie tried to ignore it but she figured it wouldn’t stop unless she went to check her messages. While walking to the computer Katie let her hair down and did her best to fluff it up as if she was expecting to be seeing somebody later.
Need help........sending information........scattered pieces.........collect all
Katie looked at the message but she couldn’t figure out what it meant. Besides she didn’t know a Commander Daya. Sitting down on her couch with the message in her hand she hoped it might be from the handsome commander she ran into earlier with Pride. But her school-girlish curiosity turned off when she reread the message. That’s when her training kicked in and she started to read and understand the message for what it was a piece of spy communication. She still didn’t know who Commander Daya was and she certainly didn’t trust this random piece of mail.
She knew she was going to have to talk to her handler about this mysterious Commander Daya and she knew she had to keep getting information from him so she replied as she had been taught, “Confirmed.”

Daya knew he wouldnt be able to send out another message for awhile, doing so was risky as always and Daya had neither the time nor the security to do so at the moment. However he had finished "The Wyrm" and was waiting for the right time to let it loose, to do so would mean that he would have to act as both the spy, and the savior. He knew how he would be able to check the progress, without being noticed he would simply adjust the screen to show how much information was still intact, instead of how much had been sent out as scattered debris.
Daya was surprised to see that his message had been deciefered as quickly as it had, and knew that if Anderson could do it as fast as she did, the Klingons would be able to almost as fast. He had to tell her what to look for, without actually telling her, and be able to hide the fact that he didnt tell her, what he had to tell her. Quickly he decided to send her messages, one word at a time, over a matter of minutes, through a direct link to the starbase, a information database that was doing nothing more then monitoring the ships status.
Information He started with just after he started his wyrm program, which would take a few hours to start. After added a few more upgrades, Daya sent another message. encoded he waited only a few minutes before added another message. warp Daya had to spend an hour waiting for a small bubble of "alone time" in order to send the last message, hoping Katie would be able to follow up on the differences between a trail and signature

While sitting off the portbow of the klingon ship undeteced and listening in on there communications, He noticed something well the ship noticed something and brought it to his attention. There was a sercert communicataion being sent to the base, it was short and very hard to pick up on. The ship couldn't break the code or firgure out who was sending it and where ti was going. Still it was there coded and very short, who ever was doing this was very good. The ship was recording and would work on trying to break it but that would take time.
He had to admit it got his attention, who would be sending this and to who. Those were questions he couldn't answer right now. So he sat there and kept coping the systems on the ship were advanced so far nobody knew he was there. He decided he would copy what he could and send it to katie and let her work it out.
Still cloaked he looked to see what else this ship could do and was find many useful tools. Very slowly he backed of the klingon ship and headed to the testing grounds. He felt great better then he had in a long time letting his mind wonder was likeing being at home. Kicking in the warp drive he was underway and gone before anybody had noticed when he was sure he was out of range he opened a comm channel.
This channel was differnt though all of a sudden he engaged autopilot and was standing in katie quarter or at least his image was. He started calling out her name and her jump when she came into the living room area. " Dont worry its just a hologram cool huh, Hey while I was cloaked I went and sat by the klingon ship and tapped into the comm channel. I picked up a coded messaged could tell who or where it was going. But I did copie and thought maybe you could crack it I"m down loading to your terminal now. Sorry you could stay for the ride but I got to go now I'm near the testing grounds I'll talk to you later " <Tag Katie>

"Drago to Parsons"
"Yes, Captain," Adam said disengaging himself from the conversation he had been having with the Klingon First Officer and stepping a few feet away.
"Are you alone," the Captain asked.
"Relatively, Sir."
"Adam, I have received word that there has just been a shooting on the Starbase."
"Sir?"
"I don't have many details at the moment, but it occurred in Sickbay. If you or your team return to the station tell them to steer clear of there until the situation is resolved."
"Understood, Captain, thanks for the heads up."
Parsons then made his way over to Daya and Hunter, who was also nearby. He waived them close, so he could speak in a hushed tone. "There has been some kind of incident on the station."
"An incident," inquired Hunter.
"A shooting in sickbay, we are to stay clear of there until the situation is resolved, should we return to the station before then."
<TAG Daya and Hunter>
"That's really all I know at the moment, but I will keep you posted, now lets complete our mission and get the hell out of here," Parsons said returning to his conversation with a smile.
"Just my Captain .... he nags me like an old woman," Adam said loudly with a large smile. The Klingons roared with laughter.

Katie had looked into the stations roster for Commander Daya and she began to feel stupid. She knocked herself because Daya was a member of the Scavenger and was obviously trying to send her coded information about the Klingons.
Information, encoded, warp, signature,
Katie didn’t understand the messages fully but she had made her way to the operations section of the star base to continue her work on the recovered information from the Scavenger. Her hope was that what Commander Daya was looking for was in the information that was being held by Assailant.
“Back again?” Said the handsome Commander she’d run into before.
“That’s right.” Katie teased.
“You can use the same station you had before.” He said.
“Thank you very much.” Katie replied with a smile.
She walked over to the station and began where she had left off before. This time though she was looking specifically in the ships science logs for the warp signatures that Commander Daya was asking about. She hoped deep down inside that she wasn’t going to get into trouble because of each of her deviations from her own work that needed to be done.

Daya smiled as Parsons talked with the klingons, keeping them occupied while he went to work hiding his wyrm, which had begun sending the information while digiusing it to look like a warp signature. Daya knew there was only a few ways to locate a signature, so he hoped that Katie would be able to find the information quickly, and get in contact with him. Grabbing another PADD to update another system, Daya yawned for amoment, and look towards Lt Koar as he spoke. "you need rest" he said bluntly, Daya shoook his head before yawning again. Finally giving up fighting with both the klingon and his fatigue, Daya walked over to parsons, "im going to hit the slab" he said before turning away and heading towards a guest room they had been given. Daya fell asleep just before his head hit the slab the klingons slept on

Work was what kept Kirk going; it was what he was best at. Even though he more or less felt human he still felt awkward in any sort of social settings. He knew and felt the glances he received when people saw his ocular implant and the only thing he felt he could do was to keep his distance. Tras’ questions only fueled his resolve in staying as socially distant as he could.
Kirk viewed the sensor readings but he could not help but hear how Tras used to be in command of the Scavenger, “Why did you lose command of the Scavenger?” Kirk asked.
<Tag Traz>
Kirk tried his best to listen to Tras as well as keep a close eye on the sensors. The last thing he wanted to do was come under attack while sneaking around in a Klingon shuttle craft.

He had just finished a thirty five hour shift aboard the Klingon vessel and he was willing to go at it for another twelve, but his Klingon counterpart Kurtuk couldn't work anymore.
"I have never met a human with more endurance than a Klingon," Kurtuk said as he walked away from the science lab," I would gladly go into battle with you any day, Paikea."
"As will I," Paikea replied with a laugh," science is a tedious act, but it takes someone with real honor to realise what it brings to the table."
"I can see that now," Kurtuk replied," though if I ever hear that you outlasted me, I'll cut out your throat."
"I'd like to see you try," Paikea said as he saluted his newest friend before turning towards the airlock. He knew that as soon as he reached Assailant, the stench he had accumilated would begin to make people hurl.
"Crewmen, could you please transport me to my quarters?" Paikea asked as he reached the first station.
"Yes sir," was the reply and before he knew it he was in his temporary quarters.
"Computer activate sonic shower, highest amplification," Paikea said as he undressed and walked slowly towards the bathroom. "Computer please send all the information in my data file towards an ops station."
"Data files sent to OPS Station 3 on Command level," the computer said and then fell silent. Paikea didn't really listen to what it had said, he was just happy to be clean from all the glime that lived on that ship.
He finished rather quickly, dressed and made his way towards the OPS station. Even though he had worked for over thirty hours he didn't need any sleep. His assignment in mind he studied all the scientific information that Kurtuk and his vessel had gathered over the years.

"Very good, Anderson should be able to pick it up then," Adam said, half to himself.
"Commander, I am really not comfortable with this mission, is there any way you can program the Wyrm to degrade over time or to delete itself so that we would not have to stay on the ship and risk further exposure?"

Daya awoke with a start, going to grab his phaser to protect himself, until he looked around and saw Commander Parsons standing over him. "sorry, I didnt mean to startle you" he said as Daya rolled over onto his feet, "Its ok, i havent slept that good in a long time. What can i do for you?" Daya asked as he rubbed his eyes and yawned. "How is the Wyrm coming," Parsons inquired. Daya covered his mouth as he yawned again and then answered. "Well, it was working just fine before i went to sleep, i had encoded the informatin to look like a warp signature, and then sent a message to Lt Anderson."
"Very good, Anderson should be able to pick it up then," Adam said, half to himself.
"Commander, I am really not comfortable with this mission, is there any way you can program the Wyrm to degrade over time or to delete itself so that we would not have to stay on the ship and risk further exposure?" "Its possible, but i dont think its ever been done with a program like that, I could have it done only after most of the information has been sent. And right about now i would say that it has sent all the Klingon ship locations, and maybe few of the Tholians. Give it another 3 hours and i could reprogram from there" Commander Parsons nodded his head in agreement and he and Daya headed back out to finish working on the program.

With some time before he reached the testing grounds he located Commander Daya aboard the klingon ship. It appeared that Commander Parsons was with him and they were alone. Searching for the controls he needed with his mind he cloaked his signal and activated the hologram projector.
Soon he was standing in Commander Daya quarters whatching Him and Commander Parsons getting ready to leave. " Uh nice the party is over and nobody invited me." He saw the shocked looks on there faces and the concern. " Dont worry the alien ship has many useful tools one of which besides this projection is a cloaking device for this signals. Nice tool if you ask me. Anyway I needed to talk to commander Parsons for a moment alone if you dont mind Commander Daya" <Tag Parsons and Daya>
Whatching Commander Daya exit the room he was alone with Commander Parsons. " Sir I think you should Know something. There are two signals being broadcasted off this ship both are hidden very well. Its only because of the advance senors on this ship and the mental link with it. That I was able too pick up the secound signal at all, I'll get to ship stuff later. Somebody on this ship is sending a secound signal very slowly and carefuly to somebody on the base. Its coded like nothing I have seen before, even with the advance computer on this ship it can't break it. I'm not sure whats going on but I thought you should be aware that somebody else my have there own mission on this besides the one you have now." <Tag Parsons>

"Uh nice the party is over and nobody invited me." Parsons was startled by the sudden holographic representation of Commander Pride.
"Don't worry, the alien ship has many useful tools, one of which besides this projection is a cloaking device for this signal. Nice tool if you ask me. Anyway I needed to talk to commander Parsons for a moment alone if you don't mind Commander Daya."
Daya left the room to finish working on the Wyrm and Parsons stayed behind to talk to his holographic conn officer.
"Well Commander, I am only aware of the signal Commander Daya is sending. If there is another signal, I need you to find out what it is and who is sending it as soon as possible. It is possible our cover here is compromised. If our true intentions are discovered by the Klingons, it could spark an interstellar incident as well as make a quick end for Hunter, Daya, and myself," Parsons said with the gravest concern.
"Report back to me, as soon as you have something."

" Understood Commander I will do what I can, Although I dont know if I"ll be able to figure out who sending it. I might beable to to break the code and at least figure out what it says. I dont envey you right now, you get the hard part of trying to think who's sending and who you can trust. Good luck with that one personaly I think I got the easy part. I'll report back to you when I do. If you need anything call me on the base I'll beable to monitor the freq and transfer the com channel to the ship and cloak the signal again."
With that being said he found himself back on the ship and entering the testing grounds. He quickly brought the senors on line to see what was in store for the little ship.

“Why did you lose command of the Scavenger?” Kirk asked.
Tras paused, looking straight at Kirk, his jaw set and his eyes flashing. "That, I'm afraid is classified information," he answered coldly, "however, suffice to say that Starfleet didn't like the way I commanded my ship. We did, however complete our mission, and that was the most important thing. Captain Drago trusts my judgement, and I am content with that."
He averted his gaze and stared out the window. Suddenly he reached out and killed their engines, stopping their slow forward motion, and even killed the lights inside the shuttle. "We got company," he warned Kirk, pointing at the now low-lit console. "Tholians...but what are they up to?"

Katie had found herself doing whatever she could to keep from leaving the Opperations area. She thought it was because of the attractive Commander she had run into earlier but when she really thought about it, it was because she didn't want to run into Paikea. She had been thinking about him a lot as of late but what she feared most was getting too close to him again.
She feared it would compromise the work that she was supposed to be doing. She felt the same for the joy ride that Pride had taken her on. Some where between the last time Katie was onboard until now she had grown up a little bit and now things that she felt were important in the past, weren't as important anymore.
As she continued to dilly dally around she wondered if she liked the person she had become. Did she long to be the girl that she used to be, or had all the intense training she had gone through remove that young and innocent girl from her? In reality she hoped and prayed that she could still be both girls.
Maybe that's why she had butterflies in her stomache every time she thought about Pai and the good times she had with him. But he had changed so much in the last few years, turned so cold and distant, had she done the same?
She finally decided enough was enough, she needed to talk with him and the sooner the better. =^=Pai? Can you meet me for dinner?=^=

“What do you do during R&R?” Maria, the counselor, asked.
“Generally I stay—or stayed, rather, I suppose—on the Scavenger. I go—went—over to Assailant a few times while we were docked to visit the promenade and the like,” Illito answered. Pride wasn't specifically mentioned in her answer because, as much as she loved spending time with him, the last few R&Rs they hadn't both been able to get free at the same time.
“What do you then spend most of your time doing?”
“Working. Sickbay doesn't stop having patients just because the ship isn't moving.”
“Do you trust your second-in-command?” Maria asked.
Illito raised an eyebrow. “Avel? Sure.” If the counselor was trying to say that Illito stayed in sickbay because she didn't trust Avel, well, that was ridiculous. Illito continued working because she loved her work. Part of that was the whole directly helping and healing people, but the truly rewarding work for Illito was the research and exchanging of theories and data with other doctors. Many of Starfleet's roots were based in those ideals. “I just don't get any chances as good as shoreleave for research,” Illito explained.
Maria smiled back. “Alright. I think that answers all the questions I have for today. Thank you very much for your time, Commander. I'll see you next week, hopefully?”
“Hopefully,” Illito answered, not a promise for anything more than to not avoid the appointment. Illito left the counseling office feeling vaguely content. She didn't feel she'd been psycho-analyzed or assessed for her ability to perform her duties the way previous counseling sessions, from her early academy days, had felt. Illito wasn't sure if that was actually a change by the counselors, or simply from herself.
After checking with Dr. Carner that he wasn't still in the holodeck, Illito met up with him back in his office. “How did the simulation go?” she asked, still worried that she might have made some mistakes in its creation.
“Congratulations,” Dr. Carner replied. “We have a successful method. Now we give our idea to Starfleet, and, so long as we've done everything right, Starfleet has a new ace up its sleeve.
Illito smiled. Dr. Carner seemed very pleased that they now had a final product. “Would you mind passing this on on your own?” Illito asked. “There's something else I kind of need to do.”
“Of course. If you're sure you wouldn't like to be there.”
The bob of her head was almost a nod. “I'm sure. Thank you. Let me know how it goes?”
“Of course.”
Illito was walking toward the door when Dr. Carner's commbadge chirped. =/\=To all available on-duty Assailant security and medical personnel, there is an emergency in sickbay—=/\=
Before it got any further Illito had to focus on listening to her own commbadge, which was sending a different message. =/\=Doctor, this is Drago. Are you in sickbay now?=/\=
=/\=No.=/\=
=/\=Good. There's been an incident there=/\=
=/\=What kind of incident?=/\= Illito asked.
=/\=A shooting. I think it would be best if you simply steered clear and gave Assailant staff a chance to deal with the issue.=/\=
=/\=Right=/\= Illito replied. =/\=Wouldn't want to get in their way. But if they ask for my help?=/\=
=/\=Just use your own judgment, Doctor.=/\-
=/\=Alright.=/\= The commchannel closed.
Dr. Carner was throwing a few medical supplies in a bag, but looked up when Illito finished. “I've been asked to help,” he informed her.
“Do they need more people?” Illito asked, an offer.
“Not that I know of. But I'll let you know if that is what the situation requires.” Dr. Carner was gone before Illito could make a reply, leaving her in his office, wondering what she should do just now.

As he was entering the testing grounds he brought the ship to a dead stop. He was finding that he enjoyed the communication system aboard the ship. " Computer locate doctor Illito is she alone" the computer replied " Open a communication channel enable hologram"
All of a sudden he was sitting in her office and was trying to hold a grin he caught her off guard. " Dont worry the alien ship has alot of advancements, Not to mention that it has a mental link set up. Right now I'm sitting in the ship with my mind linked to it, thats why I'm her now. I need you to scan the thought patterns and compare them to the ones from my home world. I will grant you access to my medical record there my world uses the same set up and I want to know how close they come to each other"<Tag Illito>
" By the way I miss you right now wish you were here with me" then smiling with a evil grin. " If your not busy right now I could beam you aboard this ship is just amazing but its missing something namely you. I'ev discorved that my great love of flying has be replaced by you and to tell the trueth I'd rather be with you then flying" he waited for answer

After Daya had left the sleeping room he went back to the computer he was working on, hopefull the Wyrm was finished by now, or pretty close. When he got back to the panel he saw Lt. Koar looking at his panel, but he quickly closed a screen and went back to his and with a nodd. "anything interesting?" Daya asked, knowing full well he was looking at the updates, and not the wyrm. "just checking on what you have completed, thats all" With a shrug Daya accessed his panel, and pulled out a couple more PADDs, with actually useless updates and started to download them. When the Lt. got up to gather something, Daya looked at the progress for his wyrm. '99 percent complete, 30 minutes left and we can leave' he thought before he close it out and went back to downloading useless updates.
Daya heard a little beep from the station he was working on when the wyrm was finished, he called over commander Parsons and told him. "The downloads are complete, we can leave whenever we are ready" he said, getting the correct message across. As Daya gathered his PADDs and started to close out the wyrm program, he slowly started deleting it as he waited, passing it off as just looking over the programs he installed to check correct operations.

Tras talked while Kirk half heartedly listened. He could not help but be bored with the small talk that was going on when there were more important things to do done, namely keep an eye out for enemy ships.
“Got something on the scopes.” Kirk interrupted Tras.
“What is it?”
“Not sure yet,” Kirk said as he peered into the Klingon screen, “Looks to be a hostile vessel.”
“Should we raise shields?”
Kirk looked at the sensor information and pondered Tras’ idea. The nebula and its gas should mark their presence but he was not about to stake his life on it. There was also the cloaking device to consider, it was an old design and easily defeated by modern technology.
The unidentified ship continued on a steady approach right for the nebula, and right for them. Kirk did not know why but it appeared as if the heat in the cramped shuttlecraft had just gone up about ten degrees. He began to feel sweat building up on his brow but feared not to wipe it away because he might need his hands close to the consoles.
“Sensors online.” Tras said.
“Confirmed.” Kirk replied instinctively.
“Receiving data from the ship.”
Kirk watched the scope and saw as the ship passed just a few meters away from them. He did not know if they were flying blind and just by dumb luck they had not run into each other, or if they were playing a game of nebula ‘chicken’.
The small craft did not appear to be changing its heading drastically. It was following a very simple flight plan through out the nebula, a flight plan that appeared to be a methodical search of the gaseous substance.
“I think we better get out of here.” Tras said as he looked over the incoming data.
“What is it?” Kirk asked.
“Can’t be sure,” Tras replied, “but what I can say is that little ship is packing more firepower than we are. I suggest an EVAC so we can analysis this data.”
“Agreed.” Kirk replied.
Slowly Kirk turned the ship around. He did everything in his limited piloting experience to move the Klingon shuttle in such a way that it would appear as space debris. He hoped the lessons he had learned from T’Brel would pay off. Slowly they drifted and with in a few minutes they were free of the nebula and the hostile ship appeared to be none the wiser.
“Going to warp.” Kirk said.
Tras quickly confirmed the coordinates, “Ready.”
“Engaging.”
With a few last minute button pushes the Klingon shuttle Dakota jumped to warp, hopefully leaving no indications of their presence.
“That was a close one.” Tras said.
“Yeah.” Was all Kirk could say. He knew he felt the adrenaline rush of the moment but he was not about to show it; he felt he should appear calm and controlled as if he could handle any situation that arose.
“Assailant or bust.” Tras joked as they rushed through the first leg of their trip back to Starbase Assailant.

Once he had been back to work for about thirty minutes, Commander Daya called over Commander Parsons and told him, "The downloads are complete, we can leave whenever we are ready" he said, getting the correct message across. Parsons nodded his understanding of his Tactical Officer's true meaning.
As Daya gathered his PADDs and started to close out the wyrm program, he slowly started deleting it as he waited. It appeared to anyone watching, that the security officer was simply looking over the programs he had just installed to check for correct operations.
Parsons was pleased that Daya, Hunter and he would be leaving the Klingon ship soon said his goodbyes to the ship's senior staff as Daya finished up, with Hunter's assistance.
