"Now I know you are all for action ambassador", Saarok said to Ezdreiana, "However right now we have no chance of prevailing in a direct confrontation with the invaders and getting any more weapons or for that matter Starfleet security personnel would only make us more easier to detect and to capture.", he said, "Our best opportunity right now is to maintain a low profile and make our way to the Victory... although I do not believe the Victory will remain safe for much longer", he said

"Our best chance is to let the invaders believe they on and when they relax... then we can see about mounting a counterstrike. And ambassador you should dispose of those communicators you have because right now they are looking for Starfleet and ambassadorial personnel and you are making their job easy... I would not be surprised if we see a squadron of Romulans approaching us right now", he said

"Commander can you order your security teams to meet us here," Ambassador Ezrediana said.
“Of course,” Nika said, and nodded at Sarina, since she would have a better knowledge of which crew members were available. Fortunately the Victory comm system ran independently from the station one, so there was little chance of it having been compromised.
<Tag Sarina>
“Although I do not believe the Victory will remain safe for much longer" one of the two Ambassadors said. Nika frowned, worried. She could see that he had a point though, there was no way to keep the Victory secure, since her shields couldn't be raised people could transport in at any the time, and unfortunately Nika didn't see any way to combat that, besides having security forces ready to take out the intruders until the intruders decided it would be too dangerous to keep trying to take over the Victory. Although Nika was too realistic to think that would actually happen.
“And ambassador you should dispose of those communicators you have because right now they are looking for Starfleet and ambassadorial personnel and you are making their job easy... I would not be surprised if we see a squadron of Romulans approaching us right now," Ambassador Saarok said.
“If that's the case,” Nika said, “They are going to find a ton of Starfleet communicators on the Victory. I'm not sure we should give up our only form of communication just because there's a chance they can track us with it.”
<Tag Everyone>
Nika thought more about what the Ambassador had said, and decided to keep the security team coming down here for the moment, and had another idea. She leaned over to her CTSO, Ensign Bahri, and spoke. “Deploy the security teams regularly around the ship to deal with any intruders, if need be you can send one of those that is coming down here to coordinate it, in case it would be better not to use the communication system.”
<Tag Sarina>
Nika turned back to the ambassadors. “Also, the Victory currently has at least three of the intruders captured and under their own force-fields, two in the brig and one in sickbay,” Nika mentioned, since she thought that could be quite useful, considering the current circumstances.

"If that is the case, then we should leave the Victory, but I think I'm right in saying that the Commander will not order her crew to abandoned ship," Ezdreiana said looking at the Commander who was presently talking to her CTSO
<Tag Nika>
"We need to move from here and take a more offensive stance somewhere on the station," Ezdreiana said as she discarded some of her Ambassadorial robes, which just put more wait on her.
"Our best chance is to let the invaders believe they on and when they relax... then we can see about mounting a counterstrike. "I agree with the Commander, the Romulans will be looking for us either way," Ezdrieana said," if they are looking for us I think it would be better for us two to get away from the ship."
Ezdreiana didn't like the thought of not having any communications with security personal, but she also saw Ambassador's Saarok's point of view. Using the communicators was negligent at best.
"Commander do the Victory's transporters work?" Ezdreiana asked.
"Yes, though they cannot transport much distance," Commander Cir'Kem responded.
"Ambassador Saarok is right about the communicators, but like you said yourself the Victory has many communicators," Ezdreiana said."Commander transport a couple of dozen active communicators through out the station."
"Ambassador that will buy us some time, what us our next move?" Ezdreiana asked the Vulcan, who knew the base much better than her.

Adislo glanced around the room, but there didn't seem to be any reason for her to stay in it, there was no one attacking the station, so no reason to stay hiding. Someone had opened the door, and most of the group had left, so Adislo figured she may as well, she would be far more conspicuous staying in the room alone. Not that she thought anyone would be looking for her, but it rarely hurt to be paranoid, as long as she was silently paranoid, and didn't mention her fears to anyone.
Adislo heard the announcement coming from the station ceilings and her own commbadge. The voice annoys her more than a little, so she mostly ignores, after figuring out it amounts to little more than propaganda. The...'Debrune' might even be willing to keep the promises they had just given, but Adislo wouldn't bet her pet tlian on it, let alone her life. But the intruders seemed to have control of the comm system, which was worrying. Adislo noticed that hardly any people still had their commbadges, which helped her make the decision to rid herself of it. Adislo wasn't sure what she should do now, there were probably places to go in events of something like this, but they were likely known by the 'Debrune.'
Adislo looked around, and decided to start walking with the flow of the crowd. She might end up seeing someone she knew, although she doubted that, since she didn't really know all that many people. But she would, at the least, get a better feel of how strong the Debrune's control of Assailant was, and she might even be able to figure out approximately how many Romulan soldiers there were.

Now that he had the downloaded schematics of the station on his tricorder, he wasn't exactly sure what he should do. "T'Val, I think it will be safer for you to stay here in the infirmary. If the boarders come by, let them think that you are the senior medical person here."
"Where do you intend to go?" T'Val asked with curiosity.
"I was thinking about the lower decks. To get down there and find some help. I can't just sit by and do nothing." Stuart looked at her, hoping she understood.
"You heard the announcements. These are Romulans and Debrunes factions siding with them. They may not treat me too kindly once they meet up with me, much less D'Beren here." T'Val was indicating the fact that she was a Vulcan and D'Beren the 'Chosen One'. "They may very well be looking for us. They would stand more to gain by our capture."
T'Val was right, she usually was. For the first time Stuart saw that D'Beren was a bit afraid. It was obvious that he was processing all of this and contemplating what his fate might be. "You are right. The three of us shall go together to the lower levels. If not for help, then at least for safety. We'll have to avoid the turbo lifts and go through access hatches and maintenance tunnels. It won't be easy. Lots of ladders to climb."
"At least we'll be climbing downward." T'Val was right again. She always found a way to indicate the positive in a given situation.
Before leaving, Stuart and T'Val got rid of their comm badges, knowing that they were traceable. Stuart had a set of civilian clothing in his office closet, and he proceeded to change into those. Then, with tricorder in hand displaying the most obscure routes for them to use, they began to make their way to lower levels.

“Ma’am.” Sarina said to Nika. “I believe we too should rid ourselves of our combadge and find some clothing which is less conspicuous. I would also suggest perhaps replicating some old fashioned walkie-talkies for our teams, so we can keep in touch and not be seen or heard on the stations systems?”
As the security teams from the Victory arrived she turned and began outlining her plan to them while waiting for the Commanders thoughts.
After she finished with the teams and all were assembled she turned back to Nika and waited to hear any further orders.

"Now?", he asked, "Now we proceed to the civlian part of the base and wait for the invaders to make their move... as it is the only logical thing to do now as and when we are grealy outnumbered.", Saarok said
"Of course my dear ambassador this is not an order and if you desire so you may proceed differently, however I and my two guards will proceed to the lower levels for now", he said

Zoilip watched the exchange with interest. "I would take issue with that" he stated, "At present I am the ranking Base Officer still at large. And Commander Cir'kem is the ranking Fleet Officer. I believe the decision is ours." He looked at Nikali. She returned the look and nodded "Perhaps we should discuss this... quickly." she moved to one side where Zoilip joined her. "Our first duty must be to regain control of Operations. From there we can control the whole base."

Zoilip shook his head, "Then what do you suggest. The Victory will not remain untouched for long. Perhaps we should try and get a message out to Starfleet. That would mean going down to the lower levels and shuttle Control or the Master Comm Room." he paused "Technically there is no Starfleet Base here anymore which makes you the ranking officer. I ll will support you but I am giving you the choice with what you do. Your CTSO has the right idea though - what ever we do it will need to be covertly."

"Get a fire control party up here!" Shouted Voran to no one in particular.
The fire raging at the back of the bridge was burning unrestrained so the fire supression systems were obviously not functioning.
The Galaxy had been in space when Assailant was attacked and they had attempted to aid Assailant in fighting the fleet. However, when Assailant went quiet, the remaining Romulan ships had turned on Galaxy and given her a pelting. Voran had given the order to retreat and the Romulans were either unwilling or unable to pursue.
They were now running at a shaky warp three.
"Can we make it to Starbase 47?" Asked Voran.
"No," replied Harris at ops, "and even if we could maintain this speed, it would take more than two months to get there."
"Alright," said Voran as the fire control party extinguished the fire, "set a course for the Betreka Nebula; there are places there where we can hide until we can make repairs."
"Casualty reports are coming in sir," said Harris, "12 dead, 68 wounded and 34 unaccounted for."
Voran sighed and ran his hands through his hair. "What's our ETA?"
"2 days, 8 hours." said Harris.
Suddenly the ship shook violently and sparks flew on the bridge.
"What was that?" shouted Voran.
"An EPS conduit just blew out on Deck 11." Said Harris, "We're down to warp two, sir."
"What's our new ETA?" asked Voran.
"Assuming that we stay at this speed, 9 days 3 hours."
"Do we have communications?"
"No sir."
Voran sighed again, "Okay Harris, communications and propulsion are our number one repair priorities. Weapons and shields are number two. I want you to coordinate with all departments, get me a full damage report in one hour."
"Yes sir." said Harris as Voran left the bridge for his ready room.

“That is right. I can think of few places that will be much safer than the Victory, and the crew is better off if we stay together as much as possible,” Nika replied to Ezdreiana's query as to whether Nika would be willing to order her crew to leave the ship or not. Frankly, Nika found the idea appalling, at the moment the physical existence of the Victory was one of few things to be sure of in this situation, and she couldn't see ordering the crew to just leave and hope they could take care of themselves.
“I believe we too should..find some clothing which is less conspicuous. I would also suggest perhaps replicating some old fashioned walkie-talkies for our teams..?” Sarina suggested.
Nika glanced down at her clothing, as if to make sure it was still civilian. It was, which for the situation was good, though with under circumstances Nika might have been annoyed that she hadn't had a chance to change into uniform before going on duty, but now Nika was far more annoyed with the circumstances themselves. “Walkie-talkies?” Nika repeated, hesitantly; she didn't know what Ensign Bahri was referring to.
“Oh, I see,” Nika replied, after she had received the explanation. She had heard of the things, but under a name, and the translator seemed to have had problems. Nika guessed it couldn't be perfect, especially when trying to index obscure old technology across cultures, as well as languages. “Yes, that could work. It sounds like they could intercept the signal easily enough, but first they would have to be looking for it. I'll suggest it to the others.”
Nika returned to the group, and watched with interest the way the two ambassadors discussed matters, and the fact that their plan seemed to consist of disappearing for a while among other civilians. Nika didn't think she personally would be able to disappear among people to bide her time-she would be rather tempted to go do something, rather than just waiting.
Zoilip interrupted the ambassadors, then turned to Nika to ask her opinion of his plan to regain operations as the key to regaining all of Assailant. “I'm not sure that would work,” Nika replied. “We would be isolated and easily overtaken.”
“Then what do you suggest?” Zoilip asked. “The Victory will not remain untouched for long. Perhaps we should try and get a message out to Starfleet..What ever we do it will need to be covertly ”
Nika nodded, but she was unsure of how to reply to the idea that she was the ranking available officer. She noticed that Sarina was finished talking to her crew, so Nika nodded her CTSO to include her in the conversation. Nika hoped that Sarina might have a different perspective, or a more developed idea of the ramifications of their plans. As Sarina was approaching hearing range, Nika started to talk. “But as things stand we still have the Victory, and if we're willing to keep fighting for it we might be able to retain control of it for quite a while longer. Ships obviously aren't designed to be defended from this sort of situation, but I like to think that with most of her crew mobilized the Victory will be able to remain in our control enough so that we can use it as a coordinating base of operations,” Nika suggested.
“The problem that I see with trying to take over Operations or shuttle control or the Master Comm room or all is that on their own they may be easy enough to keep secured, but it's hard to get from one place to another, and we're more likely to have isolated sections. It would be hard to coordinate our plans, especially without commbadges, even if we do have 'walkie-talkies' to use as replacements. I think our best chance is to stick together and keep as firm a grip as possible over the area we already have, and slowly expand from there. I'm not sure though,” Nika admitted, hoping for feedback from the others, especially since with her idea it seemed that it would be harder to remain covert. Although she had a whole ship's crew, so Nika didn't think it would be that easy to actually be covert if the Debrune were paying much attention.
<Tag Everyone>
“Also, for communications, could we use the Victory's system? It's probably blocked, but there might be a way around it, it should be nearly as easy to do from the ship as from the Starbase.” Nika didn't know all that much about Starbases, having never been on one for longer than a shore leave or the time it took to transfer from one shuttle or ship to another, but she didn't think they would be all that superior to ships. The Debrune would undoubtedly be able to hear a copy of their message, but that was hardly a major control.

Sarina listened to Nika and her thoughts before speaking up.
“Ma’am, I believe one person or a small group of people can keep the Victory out of the enemies hands. I would be willing to take a strike force back to the ship, where I can work on the communications problem.” she continued after taking a breath. “I believe I can realign the array to allow the use of the walkie-talkies, and use the Victory as a relay station for all who need it, as you try to regain the station from the enemy.”
“Without our combadge, we’ll be hard to track on the stations sensors, especially if there are only a few of us and I mask our signatures using the Victory’s sensors.” She didn’t wait for a response but began picking her team from the available security guards. “I won’t need more than a handful to do what needs to be done and keep the ship clear of the enemy.”
She made sure each person had a phaser or a phaser rifle and a replicated walkie-talkie. “Are we ready?” she asked the group, all of whom nodded.
With that Sarina turned back towards the Commander and waited for her response.

Operations was somewhat cramped now. The starfleet officers sat crouched on the floor in a corner whilst Debrune and Romulan commandos stood at the consoles.
Tanok stood smiling broadly, it was a smug and superior smile. "I told you the subtle approach would be more successful" he gloated.
Jak'tel shrugged and turned away to look out the vast window over the dock. "We're not in full control yet" he said pointing to the Victory berthed at Dock A.
Now it was Tanoks turn to shrug, "What matter is it? They are a single crew. We have 600 soldiers on board. They have this station buttoned up tightly. Everything is going as planned. We control the single most powerful installation in the whole sector."
Jak'tel nodded, it was true everything was going to plan. They had taken the station with little loss of life. All starfleet personnel had been beamed in to the cargo bays and sealed in. There were still some at large and of course those on the Victory.
"Shall we proceed - it looks as if our guests have arrived." Tanok turned to a soldier, "But the staff in holding and Magellan and Loskene in his office."
The doors opened revealing a human male, a klingon, a Ferengi and a Tholian. "Ambassadors - Welcome." Tanok greeted, "Romulan P'tahk" the Klingon hissed. Tanok looked disdainfully at the Klingon, "You are here as representatives" Tanok continued, "you have been shown the evidence that Jak'tel was cheated out of his place as Elder - we have evidence that the High Priest killed supporters of his campaign. We are here to over throw this corrupt regime and install Jak'tel as leader."
The assembled Ambasasdors looked nervously between themselves
"So" Tanok said with a clap of his hands "Which Governments will officially endorse and recognise this man as the legitamate ruler of the Debrune?"
"I'll do no such thing" Major R'Kar growled "Not for a Romulan or his puppet"
Tanok grimaced and pulled out his disruptor and in one fluid motion incinerated the Klingon,
"So what about the others."
"Ambassador Kaskrene of Tholia recognises Jak'Tel" The Tholian clicked through his translator
"As does The Ferengi Alliance" Qarek added regretfully staring at the cinder pile that had been the Klingon Ambassador."
"And I" said the Human "As Mayor and representative of the Civilian Population welcome you as the new administrators of this station"
Tanok smiled, "Excellent you may all go."
As they left he stopped the guard, "I thought I asked for the weakling Tedak to be present" the centurion nodded, "I m sorry sir but he has eluded capture thus far."
Jak'tel grinned. Now he was Intergalactically recognised as Leader of the Debrune he just had to persuade the Debrune on Qualinost that he was and to get rid of the Elders and High Priest and the way to achieve that was on the station.
"There is just one more thing we need to secure"
"This child" Tanok sneered
"Not just any child - D'beren - The Divine Child. Whoever is in control of the child will rule our people. It was his support for Ji'Zhan that lost me the election."
Tanok shrugged, "Then we find him. Its the new prioirty now that we control the station. I ll send out teams now"

No logic whatsoever the Starfleet commander had, Saarok thought. She will get them all captured or worse.
"Commander", Saarok said as he walked over to her, "Let us look at the facts here. The enemy has a supreme force and used the element of surprise on us; however this base is large so it will take them days to get it fully under control. Now... let us analyze their last message, they are mentioning the Debrune which means they will need the Divine child under their control, therefore I would suggest we attempt to find out if they already have the child and if they do not we should do all in our power to prevent them from obtaining him. As they can not control the Debrune from the planet bellow without it", Saarok said
<Tag Nika, everyone>
"Secondly... if I remember correctly they took Assailants main computer offline so that we would not be able to trigger the emergency procedures and lock the base down. Now it would be logical for us to reactivate the main computer, get Lily online and trigger the emergency procedures. With that online we'd basically cut them of from their support on the Romulan warbirds and Lily could transmit a distress call on all frequencies and I am certain in a short amount of time help would arrive", he said
"Third... we find out where are they holding the stations security teams and we set them free.", he said
"However these are only my deductions of what the logical course of action from now on should be... feel free to proceed differently if you posses a finer tuned plan as mine is only something I created from my observations of the current situation. And of course should it become necessary to create a diversion at any time... I would be willing to... entertain our new hosts with some logical games.", he said

“The child?” Nika asked, completely lost in the Ambassador's explanation. She hadn't heard a child mentioned before, and if this 'Divine child' was really so important, Nika hadn't a clue why. To tell the truth, Nika didn't even know fully who the Debrune were. She had heard them mentioned a time or two before, but not much, as a science officer high-end politics had not exactly been her top priority. “How would we go about finding the child if the Debrune cannot?” Nika asked, it seemed a valid question. For all she knew the child might glow, which Nika highly doubted, but they could be easily distinguishable. Nika sighed, she didn't see any real way she could win in this situation, the Debrune still had superior force, and whenever Nika tried to make a decision she found that she wasn't capable of making the correct one.
<Tag Saarok>
Nika realized that she was likely not going to be able to understand everything that was going on here, not that she had expected to, but she understood amazingly little. She hadn't a clue who Lily was, or how Lily could be 'gotten online' but it seemed complicated and not all that necessary for the present situation.
“I see,” Nika replied. She could see that some of the officers could obviously help somewhat in the second and third parts, even if their lack of knowledge about the station would be a disadvantage. But as far as Nika could see she would be mostly unable to help with finding the child, since neither she nor the rest of the crew would be able to recognize it. “I'm sure you have better things to do than act as a distraction,” Nika responded to Ambassador Saarok. “For one, we could use your knowledge of the station and recent political events.”
Nika paused, she didn't like the idea she was suggesting next, but it seemed to have already been suggested, so she now tried to briefly get used to the idea. She couldn't, but she supposed that she would act as she had to. “Do you think it would be best if we evacuated and abandoned the Victory and had all members of the crew try to dissipate into the Assailant inhabitants and achieve these goals?” Nika asked, uneasily. “Or we could just leave Ensign Bahri and the few officers she chooses, and everyone else evacuates?” Nika sighed, Sarina's plan was solid, but the evacuation would include many civilians, civilians that it would be hard to protect outside of the ship.

OOC: Sorry for not posting sooner, I've been having a hectic week “The child?” Nika asked, completely lost in the Ambassador's explanation. Ezdreiana had been quiet for some time now, but she felt as if would of been better if she explained D'beren situation. "Commander, D'beren is the Debrune's messiah, who is supposed to lead the Debrune into a time of power and prosperity, Ezdreiana recited almost word for word of what Admiral Lin had told her only a few days ago. "It is said that the child will lead the Debrune and whoever controls the child, controls the Debrune," Ezdreiana said. "They are going after him then?" Nika asked. "I'm almost sure of it, but I agree with Ambassador Saarok, we must find out if they already have the child in there custody," Ezdreiana said trying to remember where the child might be. "Ambassador aren't Ambassador Tedak and Healer T'Val, the child's adoptive parents?" Ezdreiana asked. <Tag Saarok> "Isn't the main computer under heavy guard?" Ezdreiana asked thinking that it would be a logical thing to do." <Tag everyone> "Do you think it would be best if we evacuated and abandoned the Victory and had all members of the crew try to dissipate into the Assailant inhabitants and achieve these goals?” Nika asked, uneasily. “Or we could just leave Ensign Bahri and the few officers she chooses, and everyone else evacuates?” Nika sighed."We cannot risk he lives of so many civilians, it would be negligant of us to even allow it," Ezdreiana said horrified that that they may have to follow this course of action. Without security teams, they would need a good substanial number of personall to make these objectives work. "Ambassador Saarok, Commander Cir'Kem, Ensign Bahri I think it obvious that we cannot allow civilians into the station, the casuatly rate is to high. That being said I think a well prepared strike team can accomplish these goals and they can only be done with Ambassador Saarok's help," Ezdreiana said looking at her superior. <Tag everyone>

"Ambassador aren't Ambassador Tedak and Healer T'Val, the child's adoptive parents?" Ezdreiana asked.
"Indeed they were, or should I say they have a split custody of the child now with Healer T'Val being the one who has custody and Ambassador Tedak having visitation rights", Saarok said
"I believe Doctor Mercy is helping Healer T'Val with the child now... they are as humans say romantically involved", he said

"Isn't the main computer under heavy guard?" Ezdreiana asked thinking that it would be a logical thing to do."
"This I do not know.", Saarok said, "We would need to check this in order to know... but even if it is... we have to get Lily back online. As due to being outnumbered by the invaders we will need the stations internal defense systems to defeat the invaders", he said
"And Cmdr. I believe I had made an error earlier", he said to Nikaila, "By assuming you would know who or what Lily is", he said, "Therefore I will explain now... Lily is our main computer... she is a conscious being integrated with the main computer. You may call her an AI however she is not Artificial. But to avoid loosing time on this anymore... all that needs to be said is that if we get her online the Debrune and the Romulans will loose control of the stations systems and we will regain it.", he said

"Ambassador Saarok, Commander Cir’kem, and Ensign Bahri I think it obvious that we cannot allow civilians into the station, the casualty rate is too high. That being said I think a well prepared strike team can accomplish these goals and they can only be done with Ambassador Saarok's help," Ezdreiana said looking at her superior.
"The civilians... should they be evacuated to the station... would not be at any risk", Saarok said, "The Romulans and Debrune will not harm them. They are after Starfleet personnel and members of the Federation governing bodies not the civilians. However... should you attempt to protect the civilians on the Victory and fail... I am not sure what may become of them. However this is something you, Cmdr. Cir’kem, need to decide what you wish to do.", Saarok said
"I am unsure of how much I can be of help I am a diplomat not a warrior.", Saarok said not wanting to let this wide range of people learn of his true abilities... they would pose a security risk he would not be able to contain any longer
"But however I can assist with logistical support.", he said
"Now I propose we ask the invaders if they have the divine child or not", he said

[Starbase Assailant]
Sarina had received her orders from Commander Cir'Kem and motioned to one security detail, made up of 5 of her best officers. After making sure that each was supplied with a phaser and a walkie-talkie, and lacked their combadges she sent them back to the Victory.
Her first job was to get the civilians left on the ship off the ship and safely hidden among the population of the Starbase. They would be much less obvious there, especially if hidden in the lower decks away from the Starfleet personnel.
For this job she handpicked another security detail to coordinate with those she sent back to the ship. They would work in teams to get the civilians moved off as quickly and quietly as possible.
Her job on the Starbase was completed, after a quick conversation with Commander Cir’Kem she headed back to the ship herself. She was now dressed as a civilian and blended in with the confused crowd enough to get to the airlock.
[USS Victory]
Once inside the ship she opened a comm channel with all the guards on the ship and the station, with instructions. They had to keep the ship free of the enemy so her hand picked team, spread throughout the ship. They would be less noticeable, being only one small biosign on such a large ship. This she would mask using the ships sensors. They also would have a better chance of not being found now that they did not carry their combadges. The Starbases systems were not configured to pick up such old communication devices as walkie-talkies.
She smiled as she closed down the airlock, on the ships side anyway. It would take a while before they realized that the ship was no longer accessible that way and by then the rest of her security ideas would be in place, preventing anyone from beaming in or using the shuttle bays for entry.
She opened a communique to Commander Cir’Kem.
/*/ We’re ready here Commander. \*\

Nika nodded thanks to Ambassador Saarok's explanation regarding Lily, it certainly moved up recapturing the main computer on her inner list of priorities, since it seemed that after freeing it, the intelligence would be able to do quite a lot to help. Nika listened carefully to both suggestions regarding the civilians, and hesitated briefly. “I'm going to evacuate all civilians, and most of the officers that aren't,” Nika said. She decided to go with Saarok's suggestion, since she could tell that the many civilians aboard the station didn't seem to be being harmed, while having them remain aboard the Victory would make them easy targets. She tapped her commbadge, since she didn't care who overheard her words, and it might almost be better if the Debrune did overhear it. =/\=This is Commander Cir'Kem to all Civilian personnel of the Victory=/\= Nika knew that most civilians didn't have commbadges, which meant that this would be broadcast over the Victory comm system. =/\=Abandon ship and proceed to Starbase Assailant. Cooperate with the Debrune and the Romulans. If you know anyone on Assailant, I advise contacting them. Luck and fortune to you.=/\= Nika paused, and took off her commbadge to hand it to either Ambassador Ezdreiana and Saarok, if they had anything to add, some small measure of comfort, without telling the civilians that they planned to do. Nika knew she was completely unhelpful for this kind of thing
<Tag Saarok and Ezdreiana>
Nika made sure to turn off the commbadge, then she turned to Sarina. “I want you to help all the civilians off the ship and onto Assailant. After that, evacuate all the Starfleet personnel, get them into civilian clothing, and tell them to dissipate among the Starbase, or help doing what they can, try to convince them to do the latter. You can either enlist them to aid you or send them to me,” Nika hoped people would want to help, since she could use everyone, but she didn't really want to make them.

"But however I can assist with logistical support.", Saarok said. "Now I propose we ask the invaders if they have the divine child or not", he said.
“Just ask?” Nika replied. She was a little confused, she didn't see that they had high odds of the invaders answering honestly, but she guessed that if this was well managed there was no reason not to try asking. As long as they were careful not to let the Debrune trace the commsignal and attack them... “Do you want to try doing that then?” she asked.
<Tag Saarok>
/*/We’re ready here Commander\*\
“Good,” Nika tried responding, then remembered the instructions for the walkie-talkie. She held in the button. /*/Good\*\ she repeated, correctly relaying her message this time. /*/Did you have any available personnel to send down here?\*\ Nika asked, since the team currently in the Victory port could still use more help. She remembered quickly to stop holding in the button so Sarina could actually reply. She knew this was going to take some getting used to.

[On Starbase Assailant]
“I want you to help all the civilians off the ship and onto Assailant. After that, evacuate all the Starfleet personnel, get them into civilian clothing, and tell them to dissipate among the Starbase, or help doing what they can, try to convince them to do the latter. You can either enlist them to aid you or send them to me,” Commander Cir'Kem said before Sarina moved off.
Sarina turned one last time and nodded. “I’ll make sure they are all safely taken care of Ma’am.” she tried to smile slightly to reassure the Commander. She was nervous herself with the happenings on board the Starbase but knew she would have to keep her head so that they were not caught and could coordinate some sort of retaliatory attack. With those last words she turned and made her way back to the ship.
[On board the USS Victory]
/*/We’re ready here Commander\*\
Sarina had secured the ship, her people were slowly getting the civilians and the Starfleet people off the ship, moving in small groups and in odd patterns, making sure to deactivate each and every combadge on the ship. Slowly the ship showed empty on all the Starbase consoles. The movements of those evacuating the ship so slow that it was not noticed from those watching.
/*/Good\*\ Nika repeated, correctly relaying her message this time. /*/Did you have any available personnel to send down here?\*\ She continued.
She activated her walkie-talkie and reported back to the Commander.
/*/ Ma’am we’re sending people your way in small groups. All have been supplied with walkie-talkies and phasers. They are all also dressed as civilians.\*\
Sarina tapped the console before her as she stood in engineering. Her teams were working on the sensors and the deflector dish. Her teams worked silently, moving through the ship like wraiths, using their walkie-talkies as little as possible, using runners through out the ship and morse code to convey orders. This would not give the Starbase anything to get a reading on, their movements were not enough to attract attention on their sensors. Time would tell if this would work or not.

Zoilip picked up an extra charge for his phaser from one of the Victory Security guards and joined the Ambassadors exiting the ship. "A terminal" he mused, the embassies were out, as were any of their personal quarters but what about public areas, "What about The Fishtank" he suggested. "The Fishtank?" queried Nikaila Zoilip grinned, "Oh I m sorry, Its the officers bar and general meeting place on Assailant, its on the upper layers. At this time of day it will be filled with locals. It has multiple entrances and exits and several function rooms all with terminals. Additionally they won't expect us to travel towards them...Do the unexpected - thats What I say."

Magellan had had just about enough of the current state of affairs but his hands were tied. he paced his office like a caged animal. Loskene sat awkwardly and tensly on the couch obviously uneasy.
"Theres been no counter attack" he noted, "No attempt to retake the station, ne response from starfleet"
"I know I know" Magellan snapped, "It looks as if theyve managed to quell all resistance or at least put a lid on it."
He paced a couple of steps more and then paused, "I guess that means its up to us then"
Loskene met Magellan smile, "You reckon us old Admirals are still up to it?"
Magellan shrugged, "Ive got all these extra memories now - I may as well put them to good use. We just need a plan."
The two officers sat awhile longer pondering their predicament before Magellan had an idea. "Dinas" "Dinas - your firelizard?" Magellan nodded, "They are remarkable creatures, not really sure about them myself and Dinas bonded with my symbiont rather than me but it might just work."
Loskene looked at Magellan, "And how is a small lizard supposed to help us." "Why as a distraction. This door" he pointed to the rear exit "Leads to the central corridor from there we could get in to the jeffries tubes and well go from there."
Loskene looked sceptical, he knew Magellan had very little control of the firelizard at the best of times. "Well I guess its the best chance we've got." Magellan nodded,
"I ll try and summon him to distract the guard outside, then you rush him in your natural form." Loskene agreed and took up position near the door. Magellan took a seat in his chair and tried to focus on the little lizard.

“Yeah,” Nika replied to Ambassador Saarok, asking if she had the comm units from the captured invaders. “They're still on the ship though,” she explained. Nika hadn't seen any use to bringing down all the equipment they'd taken from the prisoners, but she hadn't thought things were so serious that she would be without a commline and transporter network. “I'll ask the doctor to bring one down.”
She took the awkwardly large walkie-talkie, at least compared to a commbadge, and pressed down the button. \*\Nika here/*/ she said. \*\Ensign Bahri, would you mind relying to the Doctor, Ensign Rogers, my wish that he bring down the comm unit that the intruder initially had? I wouldn't normally ask/*/ Nika said, knowing that her assignment would take away for a little bit from Sarina's security efforts. \*\But it's important/*/ Nika continued.
<Tag Sarina, Krythan>[/b]
\*\Thank you,/*/ Nika replied, then turned back to the Ambassador. “One of the comm units is on its way.”
Nika listened to Zoilip's proposal. What he was saying made sense, even if the Debrune were expecting them, which, as Zoilip had pointed out, they wouldn't be, the 'Fishtank' seemed to a place that all sorts would be in. So the Starfleet officers wouldn't be easily noticed there.
“Agreed,” Nika said. “I'll go with you,” she said, nodding towards Zoilip, “Ambassador Saarok and Ambassador Ezdreiana, unless either of you has an objection, and a few of my officers.” Nika kept thinking. “I think some other officers should be sent out just to follow the crowd and try to find out how strong the Debrune's hold over the station is,” she suggested. “They can report back to the Victory for as long as we have it, to coordinate information through, but they'll have walkie-talkies for use in emergencies.”
<Tag All>[/b]
Nika watched the growing number of people coming in from all around the ship. Many of them she did not know, and could not even tell what department they were in without their uniform. She did have a passing recollection of most of the crew though, mostly just from passing them in the corridors or brief conversations. Nika noticed a few people she recognized by description alone, among them the new doctor she had been told had transferred to their ship somewhere in the midst of the confusion. She felt sorry for him, it was a fairly tough time to be new to the ship. But then again, it was a tough time to be in Starfleet, considering conditions on Assailant. “Hello,” she said. “Welcome to the Victory, or some such,” she added, feeling that she should say some slight words of welcome before assigning the new doctor off somewhere. “I'm Nika-Commander Nikaila Cir'Kem, First Officer. Do you have the comm unit?” she asked.
<Tag Krythan>[/b]
“Excellent,” she replied, and accepted, then handed it off to Ambassador Saarok. “We plan to head off to retake a computer terminal, you can choose to either help in that or circulate throughout the station and try to find out information about the intruders. I'll fill you in more on either assignment,” Nika promised, since she knew otherwise Rogers would be missing quite a few necessary facts.
<Tag Krythan>[/b]
Nika nodded, left instructions with one of the staff to direct Commander Parker when she showed up to join the group in the Fishtank, since Nika figured that Sam's engineering skills could be quite useful. Then the group started to head, in a messy, not at all military-procession like way, towards where Ambassador Saarok said the Fishtank was.

[USS Victory, Engineering]
Sarina was busy reconfiguring the deflector dish when her walkie-talkie squawked.
/*/“Nika here,”\*\ she said. /*/“Ensign Bahri, would you mind relying to the Doctor, Ensign Rogers, my wish that he bring down the comm unit that the intruder initially had? I wouldn't normally ask,”\*\ Nika said, knowing that her assignment would take away for a little bit from Sarina's security efforts. /*/“But it's important,”\*\
Sarina was quick to respond, knowing the doctor hadn’t left the ship yet. He was busy arming his people with phasers, walkie-talkies and small med-kits. After acknowledging the request she sent a runner to sickbay and let out a sigh of relief when he replied that he would take one of the comm units with him.
Once that was done she went back to work, crawling beneath the console to continue with her work.
“Come on, let’s get this done.” she murmured, to noone, since she was the only one in Engineering. The rest of her people were spread out through the ship, finishing the evacuation process and preparing the ship for what they were about to do and safeguard it against boarders.

Ensign Rogers had been busy for most of the time that the mission had been started. Alot had happened but nothing really stuck out in his mind since he was not only working on the work before him, but he was also tweaking a new kind of hyprospray that would be smaller and easier to use. Nothing was going his way so he was forced to abandon that work. He was new to the ship and hadn't had the chance to meet anyone except the former CO of the Victory... A living hell for him since Krythan was usually an open person. Since the station was taken and the ship was in danger, he distributed phasers among his underlings and gave them orders to defend as best they could against potential threats. He left the head nurse in charge then went to his next set of tasks. The emergency light to abandon ship was now blaring and Krythan Was packing a bag of medical supplies when a runner entered the sick-bay and addressed him, "Sir, you have been asked to bring the comm units from the captured invaders to the Assailant when you have been evacuated." Krythan nodded to the other and he ran off, leaving Krythan back to his packing. After completing his first task he moved onto the task of getting the captured comm-units into a separate bag and carefully slung the two duffel bags, one over each shoulder and lightly jogged to the docking area and stepped off and into the a growing group of people whome he hadn't the fondest idea who most of them were.. he was already wearing his civilians clothes, a doctors over coat, black pants and a normal white t-shirt. He was now on board the Assailant, ready for the task ahead. [Assailant: not a clue] Krythan Handed the comm of to the Commander and accepted her words, "Hello, Ma'am, I am your brand new fresh off the press doctor, Krythan Rogers, friends call me Kry, Commanders call me trouble." He felt alittle lost in the growing group of people now and was alittle less then comfortable. He looked to his superior and gave off a brave smile, "Ma'am, I would like to help re-take the base, since you will need a doctor on such an endeavor." He really needed to know what was going on since he honestly was abit dazed and slow of late..he'd have to give himself a check-up later.. ((OOC: To all those that are taking part in the sim, I must say how sorry I am for my inactivity, IRL is getting to be very busy and in complete fact I may be grounded again within three days since mid-term reports are going home...Again, I must say how sorry I am that I may have shown my extreme inactivity I am also sorry for how inaccurate my post may be since my inactivity has killed my ability to show that I know whats going on..which I don't have a clue.. Forgith me!!))
