Pride: Left the briefing he was ready to get back to work and just worry about piloting for a while. When he took his station he got the request to report to sick bay for a exam. As much as he liked the doctor a little more then he should, he still didn't like exams. It would seem doctors dont like it when you tell them you have never been sick and that you can heal yourself with out help most of the time. " Understood Commander on my way"
Pride: Left the bridge and went to sickbay no sense in dragging it out, besides if she going to make the attempt to be polite about it, I can at least show up. Walking into the sickbay he looked over at Illito office signaling here he was here. " Well Commander where do you want me?" <Tag Illito>

The empty silence of his Ready Room washed over him. His brow was burrowed with the thoughts of the day and his mand a chaotic mess. What he had seen in the Briefing Room was not encouraging, the crew was far from happy and so was he. Perhaps thing didn't get easier with practice... And to top it all off seeing Xerin like that again had completely knocked him off balance. Of course he should be expecting things like that to be happening every waking minute now, him Commanding a Vessel meant he was going to meet many more people now, of all species and ages and some of them he would bound to know from the past... future... whatever it was...
The Scavenger had come to a full stop just outside the Nebula. Luke had decided that the best way to test the crew was a varying number of tasks, of different types and all with the possibility of resulting in many outcomes. The first would happen soon he decided, he knew that Commader Tintagel was seeing to some of the crew for their monthly physicals so he would give it an hour or so and then implement Task 1.

“You can just sit on the biobed,” Illito said. “And thanks for showing up, no matter how useless you probably feel it is.” Illito ran a tricorder over him, and found that he was healthy, then proceeded with the next step. “It will allow me to be able to accurately heal you in the event of an emergency, and to fix any ignored injuries, you would be surprised how many people think they can heal themselves just fine, and they can't,” Illito said firmly. “I couldn't heal myself correctly, I would probably make some kind of mistake with the medical equipment or not be able to handle it properly.”
Illito finished everything. “There,” she said, to indicate to Pride that she was done, she had found patients had found nothing so annoying as not knowing whether tests where still being run over them. “You look quite healthy,” she nodded. “Congratulations,” she said with a slight smile to indicate she was being ironical. While being healthy was certainly a good thing, no one gave out awards for it.
After Pride had left, Illito uploaded the slight changes to his medical record, then took care of a few other small things that needed to be done around sickbay.

Pride: Took his seat on the bio bed and listened to the doctor " Your quite right about that, there are limits to what I can do and it takes alot out of me, if I'm not carefuly I could black out so you have to watch yourself and make sure you dont tax your body to much" Listening to her tell him he was healthy and smiling at him made him blush alittle his attraction for her was strong but he kept him self in check smiling back at her " Well I hope your on shift if I need assistance with fixing myself, sometime's doctors who are knew like to ask alot of question and its hard to answer. It would be like you telling me how to do open heart surgery I just wouldn't get it" a few mins later pride headed back to the bridge.
Pride: walked onto the bridge and releaved the officer covering for him, assuming his seat he did a quick system check everything seem fine. I wonder what the commander has in mind. Knowing the crew wasn't to happy with a trainning mission he didn't mind it gave him a chance to see how the crew did things he was still knew and wanted a chance to try and fit in and prove he could do his job.

Paikea took his station rather heavily, much like the rest of the senior staff that was on the bridge. They were not used to briefings with such hostility and none of them wanted to a repeat experience. At the end of all the words, or unsaid words, they discovered there mission. Tney would be traveling to the Volcheck Nebula for some training. Paikea rather thought it was an insult to give the Scavenger an already veteran crew a training mission rather insulting, but he kept that to himself.
Knowing that this was a training mission, Paikea did as he would be expected to do. He asked for all the available information on the Volcheck Nebula, which luckily for them was quite sufficient. The nebula was extremely active which made it difficult to navigate.
As soon as the Scavenger reached optimal scanning distance, Paikea would start an evasive scan of the nebula. Hopefully he would discover something useful and interesting. Until then he had very little to do.

Luke drummed his fingers on his desk. He was more than a little nervous. The last time he had participated in any sort of 'Drill' was just before the battle of Ex-Vulanis and that didn't exactly end well...
"Computer activate the self-destruct sequence. Authorisation Drago Twelve Charlie Six."
=^= Code One accepted. Input Clearance Codes Two and Three =^=
"Override Clearance Codes Two and Three. Level Nine Emergency. Authorisation Drago Twelve Charlie Six One Alpha Tango."
=^= Auto-destruct primed =^=
"12 minutes silent countdown. Mark."
=^= Auto-destruct in 11 minutes and 57 seconds, there will be no further warnings =^=
The last bit of speel from the Computer would have been heard throughout the ship. Now it was time to see whether chaos would reign or if the crew of the Scavenger really were as good as they thought they were...
Luke strolled onto the Bridge and was greeted by a lot of noise - elevated voices, sirens and just general clatter as everyone stumbled about.
"Please tell me this is a training scenario." Cavit said angrily. Luke ignored her.
He tapped the small comm channel on the arm of the centre chair and straightened his uniform jacket.
"All decks, this is Commander Drago. You have just under eleven minutes to safely evacuate the Scavenger. I would move fast and wisely. Drago out."
The stunned Bridge crew just stared at him. "Move then." He said simply.

Pride: Was study the scans of the system trying to see what he should be prepared for when all Hell broke loose the auto destruct and been activated. Sitting there he turned to see Commander Cavit was just as shocked as everybody else. When Commander Drago walked out of his ready room and took his seat announced.
"All decks, this is Commander Drago. You have just under eleven minutes to safely evacuate the Scavenger. I would move fast and wisely. Drago out."
Not knowing why this was happening thinking for a training mission this was a stupid game to play with a star ship pride started unlocking escaped pods and angling the ship for maxim escape velocity. Returning to scans he noticed the ship was already going to feel the effects of the nebula. If the ship blew up here the after shock would be amplified and some of the escape pods would be destroyed. Sending his findings to Commander Apirana to get a second opinion. Pride started to think someone is going to have to pilot the star ship out of the sector, as soon as the last pod was away the ship would have to jump to warp so the escape pods would be safe from the explosion. Normally the compute could do this but the nebula could effect it and that was not acceptable to himself. I'm not looking to die today thinking to himself but I don't want anybody else to either because our commander lost it.
Relaying His conclusions to Commander Apirana and texting him a message " Sir I don't know what the commander is thinking but for the safety of the crew, I want to lock out helm control to everybody but me and jump to warp as soon as the last pod is away, some people are going to have to stay namely a helmsman and a science officer to let me know when we are clear of the nebula and wont present a danger to the escape pods" <Tag Apirana> watch the crew start there escape everybody wondering what was going on. I hate to be in engineering right now I'm sure ensign Mercia is having a fit.

"All decks, this is Commander Drago. You have just under eleven minutes to safely evacuate the Scavenger. I would move fast and wisely. Drago out."
He's got to be joking, Paikea thought as the claxons on the bridge began blaring at them. In the time that Paikea had been on the Scavenger he had been fortunate enough to never hear those words. Semia was obviously mad at this type of drill, but she began evacuation procedures.
=^=Decks 11 through 20, head towards the closes escape pods. Fighter pilots take your stations.=^= Semia ordered. Paikea was at first surprised at that order, but remembered that the Scavenger had fighters to protect the medical ship.
=^=In one minute decks 2-10 head towards your assigned escape pods=^=
Science stations were of no concern during this type of situation, so he made sure to help out operations and logistics of the evacuation. By his account four minutes had passed and already half the crew had evacuated. By this time, Lt. Pride had sent him some peculiar findings.
According to his findings there was a possibility that the ship would destabilize and head towards the nebula. Without anyone to man the ship, it could possibly explode and endanger the escape pods.
"Sir, I don't know what the commander is thinking, but for the safety of the crew I want to lock out helm control to everybody but me and jump to warp as soon as the last pod is away, some people are going to have to stay namely a helmsman and a science officer to let me know when we are clear of the nebula and won't present a danger to the escape pods."
"I concur, but I don't think it wise," Paikea responded," Commander Drago is still captain of this ship and his authority is still intact."
"Commander all personal have evacuated except for the senior staff," Katie reported," what are your orders?"

Pride: Read Commander Apiranan message he turned in his seat looked and him and nodded his head. He was right the commander was in charege but the next few moments would decided what was going to happen. Returning to his scans and hearing that all the crew was off accept senior staff it was time to say something.
" Commander Drago I recommend we jump to warp and exit the system. If the ship self destructs here there's a chance the nebula will destablize and destory the life pods"<Tag Drago> Every stopped what they were doing and looked at the commander waiting to see what he was going to do.

Rez heard the message, and almost paniced. Lucky for her, the guy helping her out in learning some engineering stuff had her follow him.
"Getting out of the ship is easy. Just stick with me, I won't let you go wrong," he said, and she was glad she couldn't blush. She followed him to an escape pod, and went with what he said about getting out.
A little later, she noticed he was staring at her, but she didn't say anything. They were drifting in space waiting for someone to pick them up since no planet was around.
"Well, now we wait," he said and sat down smiling. Rez didn't like that he was smiling.

Nine minutes, eleven seconds. Not too bad, could do with improvement but for a Ship of this size to evacuate in that time took some doing.
“Computer. Deactivate the Self-destruct. Recognise voice pattern - Drago Twelve Charlie Six.”
=^= Auto-Destruct deactivated. Vessel secure =^=
“That’s it?!” Cavit exclaimed. “You just deactivate it and expect us to pick up the pieces?!”
Luke sighed. “I hope I do not need to remind you of the chain of command on this vessel Commander.” He said plainly. “If you have a problem with the way I handle things then perhaps you should file an official complaint with Command, until then I suggest you remain quiet.”
She opened her mouth to reply but Luke cut in. “Well done all.” He said, addressing the Senior Staff. “The Scavenger was evacuated in just over nine minutes. I am impressed. Now let’s see how you handle the clean up. I want all crew and systems ready to enter the Nebula in 30minutes. Pick up the escape pods and store them until we arrive back at Assailant. The Tech teams there can reintegrate them.” He paused. “Ensign Anderson please inform me of when the Scavenger is fit to go under way, I will be in my Ready Room. Commander Cavit you have the Bridge.”
He left the Bridge slowly, making sure to turn his head and nod to the Senior Staff before the doors of his Ready Room closed behind him. He had barely sat down when his communicator chirped. He tapped it in response.
=^= Commander, there is a Priority One message from Section 47 Headquarters. An Admiral Oren is awaiting your immediate response =^=
“Aknowledged Lt. Appirana.” He tapped his comm badge and brought up the communications panel on his desk. Punching in his authorisation code he was greeted by a stern looking Bolian. This shocked Luke… He didn’t think there was a thing such as a ‘Stern Bolian’…
=^= Captain Dr… =^=
“It’s Commander, actually Admiral.”
=^= Excuse me? =^= The Admiral replied.
“My rank Admiral. Is that of Commander, not Captain.” Luke said, with a small smile on his lips. He knew Command was on top of him but a response this quickly he was no expecting.
=^= You are Commanding Officer of the Scavenger are you not? =^= Oren asked.
“Of course. I believe you were one of the four Admiralty that petitioned against my Command of this vessel. Don’t ask questions to which you know the answers, it wastes time.” Luke said with what could only be described as a smirk. It was clear that the Admiral had no idea how to react to this for he was beginning to blush… well as much as someone with blue skin could blush…
=^= I have no desire to be spoken to like this Commander but your reputation proceeds you so I will not even attempt to reprimand you in your etiquette. You spent several years under the Command of RA KezTrek so I can expect little else =^=
Luke grimaced. KezTrek was an old friend, one he felt particularly close to. “I believe we are here to discuss me, Admiral, not my former CO.” He said potently.
=^= Indeed. Let us get straight to the point then. In the last ten minutes I have received Intel of a rather startling nature… =^=
“Oh please, let’s skip the debrief shall we? Your spies on this Ship reported to your good self that I set the Self-Destruct as a test. Well, congratulations, your spies are not liars.”
=^= You are freely admitting that you placed the lives of your crew and the safety of a valuable Starfleet Vessel at risk for a test?! =^= He was getting angry now. His pupils had dilated and he was clearly put off by Drago’s apparent calm composure.
“Of course the safety of crew and Ship were never put at any real risk! What do you take me for Admiral?! I am not a lunatic nor am I a barbarian. I deactivated the Self-Destruct with plenty of time to spare and even if by some freak of nature I was not able to do so the system itself would cut off due to a safety-catch I activated. Of course if I had informed the crew of this then they would not have reacted in quite the same way, rendering the drill useless.” He paused and straightened his uniform jacket. “Perhaps you need to train your spies a little better Admiral.”
=^= An official report will be filed Drago! No matter what the circumstances of this absurdity were! =^=
“Of course it will Admiral. My monthly Ship report will contain all of this information and more, including the presence of two Night-Bridge Officers with no previous service records. I wonder what Command will make of that as I am sure that not everyone is aware of their activity on this Vessel.”
=^= It is beyond me why Admiral Magellan thought it was a good idea to place someone like you in Command of a Starship! I am speechless at your behaviour! =^=
“Well then perhaps this ridiculous banter can cease and I can get back to Commanding this vessel. Like I have said to my XO and you, if you have a problem with the decision that has been made to give me Command then please file an official complaint. I am more than happy to talk to anyone that may question my capability to Command.” He paused and took a sip of water. “Not if that is all. Drago out.” He tapped the panel to the side of the screen which promptly turned black with the UFP logo emblazed upon it.
=^= Bridge to Commander Drago =^=
“Go ahead Ensign.” Luke replied tapping his comm badge.
=^= We have most of the escape pods onboard now. Eleven took a more interesting course and are currently en route to the Nebula =^= Anderson reported.
“Very good Ensign. We will pick them up on our way. Inform Lt. Pride to resume course into the Nebula, ¾ Impulse. I will be on the Bridge shortly.” The channel was closed and Luke leaned back in his chair and frowned. A small headache was beginning to form which he knew by the end of the day would be causing him hell.

Commander Drago had described it as a ‘very simple mission’. Xerin wondered where he had got that idea from as she left the briefing room slightly disheartened. The general consensus from the meeting had been to let matters lie, and respect the Captains wishes not to discuss his earlier outburst any further in public. Still, the tactical officer remained highly uneasy about the whole situation, and continued to wonder silently what she had done to convene such a reaction in the man. As she returned to her station however her spirits lightened somewhat. The ‘wargames’ scenarios Drago had implied would more than likely involve various actions from the tactical station, and the woman was only too eager to see what she and this ship were capable of.
=^= Auto-destruct in 11 minutes and 57 seconds, there will be no further warnings =^= The computerized voice echoed through the ship as Xerin’s fingers hovered excitedly over her console. This was it: the challenge was about to begin.
The announcement was closely followed by Commander Drago’s appearance on the bridge. “All decks, this is Commander Drago. You have just under eleven minutes to safely evacuate the Scavenger. I would move fast and wisely. Drago out.” Almost at once Semia stood up from her seat and began dealing out the evacuation orders, starting at the bottom of the ship and working her way up.
=^=Decks 11 through 20, head towards the closes escape pods. Fighter pilots take your stations.=^= she directed over the comms system.
Slowly Xerin began to see the grand plan unfolding. The destruction of the Scavenger in the vicinity of the escape pods would cause catastrophic loss of life: she would not be allowed to remain where she was. The fighters were being dispatched to protect the medical ship and escape pods once the ship was no more. Giving her console a quick glance over, she addressed Commander Cavit.
“Sir, permission to join the fighter squadron.” She volunteered, believing she would be more use out with the team. Semia considered her request for a moment before seemingly agreeing with her.
“Permission granted Ensign.” Was all she said. Xerin didn’t need telling twice, and exited the bridge at once. On her way down to the shuttlebay she wondered if the others thought she was doing this purposefully to save herself from the sinking ship. Of course, the young woman had no desire to go down with the Scavenger if it could be avoided, but neither did she want to abandon her crewmates in such a time of crisis. However, with all sides measured up, she decided that the evacuated crew would benefit from her decision.
As she jumped into her jet to set out with the fourth and final squadron, she found something else was bothering her. She had almost expected Commander Drago to object to the Chief tactical officer leaving the bridge at such a crucial time, whether the occasion be drill or otherwise, but he had made no comment whatsoever. And so continues the confusion. she mused as her shuttle darted out into the ides of space.

=/\=All decks, this is Commander Drago. You have just under eleven minutes to safely evacuate the Scavenger. I would move fast and wisely. Drago out.=/\=
Illito glanced up from her work, as if she could locate the voice. She couldn't, so she closed her eyes briefly and her hands froze where they were, in the middle of clenching into fists, then, carefully, she forced herself to relax them and spread them out, then she opened her eyes. “You heard him,” she ordered, then addressed everyone in sickbay. “Inject everyone who is well enough to walk with a small dose of stimulants, beam the most injured patients directly to the shuttles.”
Illito heard Commander Apirana's orders as to who should go where and commended him for giving them, but ignored them, sickbay had designated escape pods and Illito would need every minute available to get everyone to them safely. She didn't, actually, it only took a little over nine minutes, but every single one of them was tense and drained her a little more than the last.
This was probably going to be another drill, and she was probably going to end up strangling her new commanding officer, not the best way to endear herself to him, but her plan wasn't to be charming. Although she did actually plan to avoid murder, she had enough presence of mind to know that it wouldn't actually improve the situation. But she didn't see how an evacuation of all of sickbay was actually necessary for a drill, and it had the potential of causing the patients a good deal of harm.
Fortunately it hadn't, and Illito was able to wait for all the shuttles to be retrieved and her patients back in their beds, with the harried sickbay staff checking up on all the patients to be sure that no harm had come to them. When she was finished with that Chief Medical Officer Commander First Class Illito Tintagel walked briskly up to the bridge.
“Captain?” she asked, her voice calm and soft, so anyone who wanted to hear her had to strain to do so. “Do you have a spare moment?” she requested of him. She smiled at him when he replied that he did. “Thank you.”
Illito stepped a little closer and lowered her voice the barest bit more than it had been, she didn't think people needed to overhear this. “Next time you do something like that could you please inform me ahead of time?” she asked, but didn't let him respond. “I always have people in sickbay, and unless you would particularly like to have to evacuate the ship when you're in the middle of labor, it might have been a good idea to just have let me know it was just a drill. Captain.” Illito waited for Captain Drago to reply, hoping he could say something that would reasonably explain this all.

Pride: Let the breath he had been holding out and started recoverying the life pods. He heard the turbo lift open and saw Illito walk on to the bridge she didn't look to happy something about her mood suggested that the Commander was about to get a ear full. Returning his attention to recovery. Thinking about everything that just happened the way the commander talked to the xo and the drill thing. After the commander was done talking to the doctor he headed for his office when the incoming message from starfleet came in. Now this is really wierd why would there be a message right now. Not knowing who it was or what it was about pride continued piloting the ship for recovery. He noticed some of the pods had headed for the nebula which didn't make sense they weren't suppose to go that way he had angled the ship to keep them clear. Now this is getting stranger and stranger pride heard the order to head to the nebula and finish recovery along the way bring the ship to 3/4 impluse pride set course.
It seemed everybody on the bridge was just as confused waiting for something to do pride started scanning the logs he was still alittle bothered about a message from starfleet all of a sudden. Just when he was about to give up he noticed something, a message had left the ship on a secure channel and had been hidden it was going to take a while for it to be cleared up and see what it said. Thinking it might be a good idea first to let someone know. He had learned his lesson earlyer to not question the actions of the commander he was still angery but Drago was the captain of the ship.
Pride forwarded his findings to the captain ready room with a message. " Sir I just discovered the transmission who ever sent it had a command code which is a little weird. Considering only you and the xo have them and she was on the bridge and couldn't have sent it. I have sent you the message but it is encoded and will take time to break I do not know how we will find out who sent but I do suggest changing the Command codes to make it harder next time I have not informed anybody else of this unless you want me to" <Tag Drago>

Most people avoided Semia on the bridge she was never been soo ticked off in her life , sitting in the command chair Xerin asked if she can Join the fighter squadron she glowerd at Xerin "Permission granted " She said a little more coldly than she intended but right now she was not happy , but when drago deactivated it that really got her steamed even more for activating it in the first place sitting down she began writing out her reports when she looked at pride and noticed and odd look on his face looking at then looking back then why she didn't say anything to him she will never know why but she tilted her head in thought when a ensign came up alerting that her daughter was back aboard.
When Paikea returned he came up to Semia and whispered in her ear : I think we need ot have a talk" , Semia nodded in response

Pride: Sat at his station wondering what was going to happen everybody was tense. He thought about reporting what he had found to the Commander Cavit, but he hadn't heard back from Commander Drago yet. She should know but he noticed Commander Paikea talking to her and thought better of it. Somebody aboard has access to the command code's that was not normal, He kept think everybody has command codes but they had limits they couldn't do everything but this one was a command level and only 2 people aboard were suppose to have them.
Pride: Was recovering the life pods when something else started nagging him. " Commander Cavit there's something I cant make heads or tales of. I angled the ship for maximum escape for the life pods, they were all programed with a course I set for them, I don't understand how they got this far off course, even with all the variables they shouldn't have come this way unless the course was changed by the crew which I don't see happening. I Guess my question is how come I have so many one 1 I could chalk up to malfunction but more then one starts to worry me." <Tag Cavit>

On arriving back on the Bridge Drago noticed that Commander Cavit was less than willing to get up from the centre chair. Luke just stood there, waiting patiently.
"May we use your Ready Room Commander?" She asked, referring to herself and Commander Appirana.
"Of course. Use whatever you need." He replied with a smile that even he wasn't sure about the sincerity of.
The two Lieutenant Commanders left the Bridge and Luke sat down heavily, his eyes were heavy and his head was pounding just as he had predicted. As he began to message his temple with his index fingers Commander Tintagel arrived on the Bridge. He frowned, she did not look happy.
"Captain?" She asked. "Do you have a spare moment?”
Of course Doctor, what can I do for yoy?" Luke said, no expression on his face.
"Thank you." Illito stepped a little closer and lowered her voice the barest bit more than it had been. "Next time you do something like that could you please inform me ahead of time?" She asked, allowing no time for a response. "I always have people in sickbay, and unless you would particularly like to have to evacuate the ship when you're in the middle of labor, it might have been a good idea to just have let me know it was just a drill. Captain."
Luke grimaced at the rank. "Firstly it's Commander." He started. "And secondly, if I were to inform of when a Drill were to take place it would hardly test you would it now?" He sat up a little straighter so their heads were barely an inch apart. "Now if that's all." He stood sharply up and approached Lt. Pride.
"What did you say you had found Lieutenant?" He asked. Purposefully ignoring the shocked look on the Doctor's face.

Rez and the other engineer were drifting now, and wondered how long it would be before they were rescued. She felt really uncomfortable being in this small vessel.
"What do you like to do for fun?" He said, and she realized he must have noticed how she was feeling.
"Well, I like to climb, and sometimes swim. I also like to sing. Why?" She said, and he smiled.
"Why don't you sing, right now," he said and she smiled. She picked an old ballad she knew, and started to sing with just him for an audience as the pod drifted toward the nebula.

Pride: Looked up when the Commander came over to his station. Looking back at the Illito and the expression on her face, He hoped Drago didn't have to go to sick bay any time soon.
"What did you say you had found Lieutenant?"
Returning his attention back to the commander. " Sir I was going through the senor logs trying to figure out why the life pods were heading into the nebula. I programed there course my self to keep them clear of that. I wouldn't even of bothered if it had been one pod but there's to many to just be a accident. When I check the logs there was a coded message coming from this ship on a priority 1 level. It was hidden in the distress beacons of the pods and was sent to star fleet headquarters some admiral to be more exact. Sir I guess the big problem is someone used a command code to do this and not just any command code, one that is reserved for you and the xo. I know she didn't do it and you didn't do it so who did" giving it a few seconds for a pause.
" Sir look at this someone altered the life pods course the only way that can be done after I lock out the system is if a higher ranking officer over rides my lock outs. I'm not talking about a Lt Commander as helm officer I have final say on the course of life pods a commanding officer is the only one who can over ride my lock outs. someone has alot of access right now and its got me alittle worried I would suggest you lock all command codes to your voice only sir at least until we find out who's doing this. You are being set up I know those pods weren't suppose to head to the nebula its to dangerous for them I made sure they would stay clear" <Tag Drago> Sitting back pride kept quite while Commander Drago thought about there new little problem

A drill, it was all part of a freaking drill, Paikea thought incensed. Commander Drago did not the crew of the Scavenger and didn't know their style, but to do something so dangerous was uncalled for. These thoughts coursed through Paikea as he helped pick up all the escape pods. Half of him was finding reasons for the Commander's actions, but the cons outwieghted the pros. He must have had a saftey net, but taking unnecessary risk was not called for.
When Paikea returned to the bridge he was quickly met by Semia, who for the first time since Paikea knew her, whispered something to him. Paikea's eyes immediately flashed in every direction. His loyalty was to his crew and friends, but his training told him that it was not wise to go down the road they were leading.
As Paikea followed Semia into the ready room he couldn't help but look at everyone else. When he found Katie's eyes he was surprised that he couldn't read what she was thinking. As the doors closed behind them, Paikea took a seat and waited for Semia to begin talking.

"And secondly, if I were to inform of when a Drill were to take place it would hardly test you would it now?" Captain Drago replied to Illito. "Now if that's all."
Illito had so many things she could say as a reply, and even a few that she thought should be said, but he cut her off. She didn't think the conversation was over, but she wasn't interested in making a scene, and since Captain-no matter what he said about his rank he was responsible for the ship, so he was Captain-Drago didn't seem to care what she wanted to say, and he obviously had a few prepared things he could reply without even listening to say to her, there wasn't much point for her to continue to talk to him.
She shook her head lightly, then walked, slowly, assuredly, sure not in any way to be stomping off in anger, back to sickbay. She was already good at keeping her emotions off her face. She didn't suppress them the way Vulcans did, she still felt incredibly angry, but no one glancing at her could tell by looking at her unless they knew her very well. And no one on the ship really knew her that well, except possibly Lieutenant Avel, if only because he would have seen the cold anger in her eyes many times before, directed at him.
She strode into sickbay, and checked the status of everyone in it as well as she could tell in a few glances, before looking more detailed into the problems that had, inevitably, cropped up because of the idiotic 'drill' which involved carting injured patients around, which every first-year medical student knew was a recipe for disaster. With most of the problems contained, Illito had a brief moment of rest, and she contemplated calling Captain Drago down to sickbay for his physical, since he would then see all the chaos he had caused. But she decided to keep that as her trump card, she wasn't nearly angry enough yet to make it worth using up that option.
Instead, Illito walked over to the woman she had mentioned to Captain Drago on the bridge. Ensign Lila Keikan held her newborn daughter cradled in her arms. “How's the baby?” Illito asked the nurse hovering nearby ready to leap to solve any problems.
“Completely healthy,” the nurse replied. “Thank god,” Illito thought she heard the nurse mutter under her breath, but Illito wasn't sure.
“Can I see her for a moment?” Illito asked Ensign Keikan. Lila nodded, and offered her daughter up to Illito. Illito cradled the girl in one hand, verifying that she was indeed healthy, as the nurse had said, then Illito handed her back to her mother. “Does she have a name yet?” Illito asked. She had known Lila had stubbornly refused to learn the gender of her baby in the prenatal exams.
“Not exactly,” Lila answered, smiling wearily at Illito. “I know what I want the name to be, but I want Divyesh to agree first.”
Illito nodded. “Of course,” she agreed. “I'm sure he'll be here as soon as his escape pod is recaptured by the Scavenger,” she assured Lila, answering the woman's unanswered question about her husband.

Luke frowned. "That is most troubling Lt. I locked out the Command Codes before the start of the Drill to avoid any nasty surprises... Like the destruction of the Ship." He paused. "Encode what you have found and put it on a PADD for me, then erase all traces from the Main Computer. Give me the PADD as soon as you can."
He walked away from the slightly concerned looking Helmsman and sat back down in the centre chair. Cavit and Appirana were still in his Ready Room and Luke could bet his command comfortably on what they were talking about. He was sure by the end of the day he would be receving a Priority 1 from Admiral Magellan on Assailant. He had dealt with Oren, Magellan was something differently entirely.
"Sir, the last of the Escape Pods are in Fighter Hanger 2. Their crew are undergoing medical scans now."
Luke nodded at the report. Drill one was complete. Now for phase two.
"Mr. Pride remain on course for the centre of the Nebula, full impulse."
"Aye Sir." Came the quiet response.
He rubbed his tired and itchy eyes and stiffled a yawn. Sleep was a luxury that he had been declining himself these last few nights, in any large qualities at least.
He tapped his comm badge. "All Senior Staff are to report to Astrometrics in half an hour. Drago out."
He loved snap decisions.

Pride: Finished down loading the info to Commander Drago's padd and erased the infomoration from the logs. He didn't like the idea but it was a order. When he was given the new course to head into the nebula he didn't like that anymore either. " Setting cours sir full impulse" Waiting for the commander to take his seat pride made a decision. He had not been instructed to relay the orders to anybody so he could still let other sections know about the course change. Knowing that Commander Cavit was in the ready room pride quitely sent a text message about the course and speed. " Commander Cavit I"ev been order to head to the center of the nebula at full impulse" <Tag Cavit> then relaying the same message to Illito so she would be caught off guard sending her a text message as well " Commander Drago is ordering us to the center of the nebula I dont know what effects it will have on the crew but he didn't order not to say anything so I'm taking a chance to let you know so your not caught off guard again I'll do what I can in the future to let you know okay" <Tag Illito>

Katie was just as shocked as everybody else to find out what had just taken place was just a drill. Katie was confused with the actions of her commanding officer but she knew it wasn't her place to question his orders. She could tell that by the way Paikea was looking around the room that he thought differently.
Things were normal on the bridge, as normal as they could be given the circumstances, but Katie tried her hardest to get her mind off what might be ahead. Her decision to join Starfleet was starting to look like a bad one. She wanted to explore, reach new worlds and help close diplomatic deals. She never wanted to get captured by Romulans, stabbed by Amazon women, or have to abandon ship at the whim of the Captain. Katie felt that she was more than a little naive when she joined Starfleet. She hoped it didn't show as much as she thought it did.
"All Senior Staff are to report to Astrometrics in half an hour. Drago out."
