"An hour from now I will be making an offical complaint to Admrial Megellan, but I won't do it with out your backing, your the ships second officer."
Paikea had an inclination that Semia would ask this of him. He didn't know why she was asking him though. Semia had very deep ties to commmand and could make this recommendation alone. Though she asked for his opinion and he would honestly give her his answer.
"Semia, why not hold on the complaint," Paikea said," lets wait until this mission is over and if he continues on this absurd course I will fully back you up."
"Okay, Paikea," Semia said," I will wait until the end of the mission."
Paikea looked at Semia and noticed how tired she really was. At that moment she was not the maverick Starfleet officer, but a concerned executive officer.
"Semia everything will be alright," Paikea said before he exited the office and went back into the bridge. He made sure to stop at Katie's console.
"How you doing?" Paikea asked making sure that only she heard.
<Tag Katie>
"Katie, our shifts end in a couple of minutes," Paikea said hoping that she would want to spend some time with him. God knew that he needed to talk to someone he trusted.
<Tag Katie>
"All Senior Staff are to report to Astrometrics in half an hour. Drago out."
Darn it, Paikea thought, as he processed what Commander Drago had ordered. He must have something up his sleeve.
"Hey, lets go for a walk," Paikea said smiling," we'll end up in astrometrics somehow."

Illito was busy in sickbay when she picked up the beeping of the console in her office. She walked in and saw a text mission from Lieutenant Pride. The words scrolled across the screen: Commander Drago is ordering us to the center of the nebula I don't know what effects it will have on the crew but he didn't order not to say anything so I'm taking a chance to let you know so your not caught off guard again I'll do what I can in the future to let you know okay.
Illito smiled, thankful that he had sent her this information. She voice-recorded a response which was changed to text and sent to him. Thank you very much for telling me, I appreciate it.
She then left her office to make a round around sickbay to tell some of the staff that this is a possibility. After she has finished that she takes a few minutes to try researching the nebula. She doesn't find anything about it, except warnings that it was extremely difficult to navigate. Illito frowned at the screen for a few moments, but if she trusted anyone to keep the ship safe through a difficult situation, it would be Pride.
=/\=All Senior Staff are to report to Astrometrics in half an hour. Drago out=/\= came Captain Drago's orders. Illito frowned, she didn't think she could things in sickbay back to normal in half an hour, and she hated to leave things as they were. Unfortunately she didn't have that much of a choice, and while she intended to buy a few more minutes by being a little late, she didn't think it would be a good idea for her to miss the meeting entirely, tempting though the idea was.
Her duty shift was technically over, and she was vaguely aware of other medical officers switching, and of Lt. Avel entering the bridge. But all of Illito's plans to work the normal amount of hours had been squashed the instant Captain Drago ordered everyone to evacuate the ship. Illito knew that as soon as she could get out of the meeting Captain Drago had ordered she would have to come back down to sickbay, to finish fixing the trouble the Captain had begun.
Her PADD went off at twenty-seven minutes, and Illito decided, rather than showing up a little early, she would take care of another patient and be three minutes late. When the PADD beeped again four minutes later, Illito sighed, and, after once again dismissing the idea of missing the meeting entirely, she walked down to the spot it was going to be at.
Illito knew she couldn't wait any longer and although things in sickbay were still hectic she left the rest of sickbay staff with assignments so they could keep everything as in control as possible. She tried to do what she could to prepare the sickbay staff for anything Captain Drago might decide to do, but she wasn't sure she could do so. After all, she wasn't even sure he might not decide to keep the senior staff forcibly off-duty for a few hours to see how the officers under them would do. Suppressing a sigh, she walked down to Astrometrics. “I'm sorry I'm late,” she apologized, her voice sounding regretful, but more about the fact that she had to be here at all, rather than down in sickbay, where she belonged.

Luke arrived in Astrometrics ten minutes before the rest of the Senior Staff were due to arrive. The room had a calming affect on him... Reminded him of the... 'simpler'... times on the Tiger Shark when he and Max would spend hours pouring over Star Charts in their free time, catching up on all that was happening on the Ship, eating, drinking... The better things in life.
He looked round and saw a young Ensign standing at a console. Almost as if he felt Luke's stare he looked up.
"I will be done in a few minutes, Sir." He said. "I am jus recalibrating the navigational array, it's proving to be more than a little challenging."
Luke smiled. "Might I be of assistance?" He asked, walking over to the console.
"I don't want to be a bother Sir. If I don't manage to finish before the Senior Officers arrive I'll finish up after." He replied, blushing slightly.
"I would like to have a look." Luke said. "I used to be a CNO, not so long ago..." He paused. "Well a fair amount of time ago but I haven't lost my marbles just yet, despite what I'm sure many of the crew are thinking right now." He said, with a slight chuckle. The Ensign clearly did not know how to behave. "What's your name?" He asked casually looking over the readouts. "I haven't yet managed to look over the entire crew compliment."
The Officer cleared his throat. "Ensign Matthew Longe, Sir."
"Well, Ensign Matthew Longe. Let's see if we can get this blasted thing sorted out shall we?"
Between the two of them the Navigational Array was operating at peak efficieny by the time the first of the Senior Staff began to arrive. They all looked slightly peeved at being called at being called to yet another briefing and if looks could kill then Cavit would have murdered Luke several times over by now.
"Does anyone know where our good Doctor is?" He asked when everyone else had arrived. As if in response Tintagel walked through the doors to Astrometrics, the same look of annoyance on her face.
"I'm sorry I'm late." She said, standing at ease next to Cavit.
"Not a problem Commander. We had yet to start." Luke said with a smile that was not reflected in his eyes. "Well I imagine that you all wish to know why I have called another meeting, especially after the fiasco of the one before last." He paused and briefly glanced at Xerin Cole. This was not getting any easier. "I am aware that a lot of, how shall I put it, 'discomfort' has been caused because of my recent actions. I am also more than aware that communications of varying sorts have been occurring questioning my capacity to Command or discussing orders issued." He paused and casually looked round the crew as a whole, singling no one out in particular. "I can assure you I am more than capable to Command this vessel and none of you will be put in any danger by myself. This being said I would appreciate it if any issues that may be causing any of you concern be raised with me at an appropriate time." He stopped again and cleared his throat, straightening his uniform jacket at the same time. "Now, the reason I have called you all the way down here is to show this to you." He said, tapping a command on the console next to him causing the large screen in front of them all to magnify a particular patch of the Nebula. "This, is the Urn Zone. Named such... well I'm sure you can work it out. This is where the Scavenger is heading. Doctor I would appreciate innoculations made up for the crew. Lt. Pride, prepare the Scavenger for emergency action. This is the next stage of the Drills. The rest of you will receive orders close to the Zone. That is all."

"How you doing?" Paikea asked making sure that only she heard.
"I've been better." Katie replied. She noticed her hands were shaking and quickly folded her arms to cover it up.
"Katie, our shifts end in a couple of minutes," Paikea said hoping that she would want to spend some time with him. God knew that he needed to talk to someone he trusted.
"Yeah I can't wait to sit down with out having to panic about any more drills."
"All Senior Staff are to report to Astrometrics in half an hour. Drago out."
"So much for that." "Hey, lets go for a walk," Paikea said smiling," we'll end up in astrometrics somehow."
"I like that." Katie replied with a large smile.
Katie smiled at Paikea's comment. He always had a calming effect on her and she liked it.

Pride: Looked up from his data padd he was studying when Illito walked into there briefing. He smiled at her and he thought just for a secound he saw her smile back. Turning his attention to the commander he learned about there next part of the drill.
Looking back down at his padd he realized that this was not going to be easy. Think if the Commander really wants to know what kind of pilot I'am he should just put me in a fighter and send the borg fleet after me that would be easyer then this. Looking back at the Commander trying to figure him out and giving up, one thing at a time right now lets see if I can get us through this first then we'll have a nice chat.
" Yes sir I'll get to work on this right now but I'm going to need alittle help from engineering on some modifications to the shields to handle the stress"

Having entered engineering, she walked over to see what was going on. The chief seemed to be really busy with something. Then the announcement was made.
"Ensign, I want you to go to that meeting in my place," the chief ordered, and then she was dismissed.
Rez made her way to Astrometrics for this meeting, and stood in the very back not wanting to be noticed too much. She felt a bit out of place among these people, and wondered why the chief had choosen her to represent them.
She listened to what the commanding officer had to say, and then heard someone talk about updates to the shields.
"Sir, I will be more than happy to work with you on the shield updates. We should be able to get it done soon enough," she said piping up, and noticed the eyes on her. She felt a bit embarrassed to be here, and wanted to crawl under the nearest console to keep them from looking at her.

"I like that." Katie replied with a large smile. Katie was the only person that could put a smile on Paikea's face when there shouldn't of been one. It was common knowledge to the crew of the Scavenger that they were real close. There close friends knew that they were in a relationship, but they never did bring it up.
The two of them had been through a lot of trying times, from there time at the Academy. Paikea knew that it had been really hard for Katie to continue with her Starfleet career, but he was immensely happy when he found out that Katie had decided to stay and Starfleet. When he found out that they had been assigned to the same ship he was ecstatic
"So what can we do in thrity minutes?" Paikea asked Katie as the turbolift closed around them.
<Tag Katie>
Paikea knew that they wouldn't have much time together at the moment. Hopefully, the Captain's next drill would take a few hours to reach. He knew that many in the Senior staff had been working since early that day.
"You know hopefully the Captain's next drill won't be so crazy," Paikea said finding that he didn't like hearing his thoughts all the time. Since this mission started he had been hard pressed to remember a time when he had spent time with Katie and his friends.

Pride: Looked over at Rezula as she spoke up "Sir, I will be more than happy to work with you on the shield updates. We should be able to get it done soon enough," noticing that she didn't look comfortable and deciding that it was time to change that.
" I would love what ever help you could offer its going to be hard enough getting to where were going and then to be ready for combat drills, I would like it if you could man your bridge station so we can work to gether on this okay" <Tag Rezula> Looking around and seeing the briefing was over and seeing the crew enjoy a brief break he felt a little out place just my luck more work and no break it was starting to take a toll and he felt tired. Closing his eyes and trying to refresh himself and bring his energy level back he knew Illito was watching him studying making sure he wasn't over taxing himself. She would be the only one noticing his action and knowing what he had done. opening his eyes again he felt refresh but knew his body was back in over drive once more.
Turning to Commander Drago " Sir if its okay with you I would like to return to the bridge I have alot of work to do with Rezula and a short time to do it in. If you want the ship ready for combat drills I need to get to work" <Tag Drago>

"Okay, I can do that, I might learn a bit more if I am on the bridge," she said and smiled. He seemed nice.
Rez noticed several of the crew were standing around talking, and she did want some new friends; however she was chomping at the bit to get some of her work done. She knew it would be there when she got back, but she also knew that it was best to get it done instead of leaving it for another time.
Suddenly her commbadge went off, and she disappeared from the crowd to see what could be so important.
"Go ahead," she said, and waited for the response.
"We are having some difficulty with the KLS stablizier, and need your assistance in this," he said, and she almost ran to the turbolift.
"I am on my way," she said, and wondered if this was another drill.
She entered engineering, and noticed the core not looking like it should. She sighed, and walked over to a console.
"I want power cells six and eight checked. Make sure they aren't malfunctioning, and if they are replace them immediately. Move!" She said, and they went to see what was going on. Once one of the power cells was removed and replaced everything seemed to calm down, including the warp core.
"I am going to the bridge if you need me. I have work to do there," she said and left.
Once on the bridge Rez took the engineering station, and ran a few scans waiting for Pride to make his appearance so they could begin. She checked on the shields to see what she would be working with.

"Not a whole lot." Katie replied.
Katie knew she was tired and she hoped it didn't show, but she couldn't help but lean against the side of the turbolift. Katie had closed her eyes for just a second and then she felt Paikea's strong hands begin to massage her neck.
"You know hopefully the Captain's next drill won't be so crazy," Paikea said .
"Let's not talk about work right now. Let's just enjoy this moment." Katie said quietly.

Pride: Exited the turbo lift and noticed Rezula at her station walking over to her and trying to put her a easy " Well its time to go to work but I want you down next to me. You can use the back up station next to me. Besides its the best seat in the house all people see is the back of your head the only thing I worry about is if I"m getting a bald spot and nobody wants to tell me" <Tag Rezula> walking down to the helm to releave the current officer pride looked back to Rezula " Come on down your the next lucky contestant on lets fly through the nebula with out blowing up" with alittle chuckle.

Rez was working on something, and was deep in thought when Pride came up to her. When he said something she jumped, almost out of her skin.
"Sorry, was deep in thought, I am coming," she said and moved to where he was working to see how she could help.
"As for the back of my head, I don't worry too much about that, there isn't much there any ways," she said and he raised an eyebrow. Rez chuckled, and transferred what she was working on up to his station.
"Okay, the shields have some power, but not enough to be useful in the upcoming drills. I suggest we reroute some power from the useless systems like the holodecks to upgrade the shields," she said trying to buy some time to think of a better solution.

Semia found herself under the science station console rewiring the station for the navigational array to be connected directly when she crossed the wrong wires and the entire row of consoles to explode underneath from the inside with a shower of sparks on the outside "Sh8t" Semia cried out and crawled away before the panel she was under whent A young crewman peered down at her ," Ma'am are you alright?" Getting up and dusting herself off she noticed the Commander drago was looking at her , giving him a dirty look , she brushed herself off and headed for engineering , "Crewman come with me please i'm gonna need you" "Ma'am i have to deliver these reports from the Astrometrics -- " he didnt' get to finnish when Semia took em out of his hands and handing them to a passing by Katie Anderson , "Can you hand these to the commander please" Semia said "Yes ma'am" And Anderson walked off. "Now where were we?" , Semia said " Ah yes , comewith me , crewman....?" "Saab" he said Noddign she looked at him and motion to fallow lets go , she headed to the turbo lift and entered with him "Deck 18" she said "Have you ever had any hands on work Crewman ? " She asked conversationally "No ma'am just runniong reports and thing back and forth thats it" he said blushing "Oh ? why not?" She asked "I only wanted to just be on a ship doesnt' matter what kind of dirty work ma'am" He said Nodding slowly looking ahead "Well hey if thats what you want it's at least some ambition but you need to have a little bit more so i'm gonna take you under my wing " "Ma'am? " Saab looked slightly horrified As the turbo lift came to a hald she entered engineering and found Chief Enginner Karigan Mercia yelling at a bunch of slackers "Move faster , We don't got all day you know" Semia walked up behind her and cleared her throat Mercia wirld around and looked at her "Oh commander what can i do for you?" "I need your assistance" Semia said grinning at Mercia she reminded her of herself when she was younger , face covered in grease and eager "Sure Commander I could use a change a sceanery for a bit , lemmie guess the exploding consoles on the bridge ? " "Thats correct ensign the idiots at the starbase wired em wrong when they repaired the ship" Smeia said "Oh tell me about it" Mercia fell in step with her and Saab heading to the turbo lift "Been trying to correct that blunder allover for the last 8 hours, and whos the young guy here? " They entered the turbo lift " Ensign Mercia this is Crewman Saab , Crewman Saab this is Chief engineer Karigan Mercia , she will be also giving you a hands on learning experince , I think your talents are going to waste kid " Grinning at saab who looked like he wanted to faint Mercia looked at him and pitied him " I don't bite" Semia grinned and said "Bridge"

Illito glanced up at Captain Drago, her eyes softening slightly in confusion. She knew he wasn't exactly opening up the meeting for questions, but she certainly hoped he wouldn't mind clarifying an issue or two for her. “Are the inoculations to be for every single person above the Scavenger, or just those who will be working in certain areas?” she asked. Either way would be problematic, but she much preferred the second of the two options. Which probably meant it was going to be the first.
“And how long do we have until it becomes unsafe?” Illito asked softly, her mind already slightly distracted, trying to figure out how quickly she would be able to do this, and whether or not she would need to call up emergency personnel. Preferably the crew would just be able to stay where they were, and have the inoculation delivered through the air, but it depended what it was made up of. It may well require that everyone receive a hypospray, and Illito wouldn't know for sure until she was able to consult the medical records.

During The Briefing...
"The entire crew will need to be innoculated." Luke replied in answer to the Doctors question. "The Zone is extremely temperamental and although not all areas of the ship will be at risk at the same time, the areas that are at risk could change at a moments notice." He paused. "In answer to your second question, as soon as we enter the Zone the crew will be in danger. Some will show signs of stronger resistance but the radiation will effect everyone within a matter of hours. I hope this is sufficient?" He asked.
<TAG Tintagel>
The Bridge - After The Briefing...
Lt. Pride and Engineer Rezula sat at the helm, working on the task set to them. Luke smiled and studied the two officers intently. They were so keen to work hard, to please, to complete the task set to them. Where had that gone in him?
=^= Astrometrics to Commander Drago =^=
Luke tapped his comm badge in response, recognising the voice at once. "Go ahead Ensign Longe."
=^= I have those reports you wanted and the updated cartography. Would you like me to bring them up to you Sir? =^= He asked.
"That won't be necessary Ensign." Luke said. "I will make my way down to Astrometrics now."
=^= Understood Sir, Longe out =^=
Luke stood to his feet and nodded at Commander Cavit who had only recently returned from Engineering. "You have the Bridge Commander." He said before continuing to walk to the Turbolift. He paused briefly and turned round. "Try not to blow anything else up." He commented before stepping into the small cubical that would take him to Astrometrics.
The Turbolift sped off to its destination and Luke found comfort in the whirring sound it produced. Back on the Tiger Shark, both B and C, he could tell what Warp Speed they were travelling at even in the Turbolift. It would take a little longer for that talen to procure itself on the Scavenger.
Just as the Turbolift began to slow the Commander was thrown to the floor, the sound of weapons fire on the Ship's hull was easily heard. The Turbolift shook again, this time the lighting flickered and went out, only for seconds later it to be replace by the emergency system.
He tapped his comm badge. "Bridge, what the hell is going on up there?!" He exclaimed as the Ship rocked yet again.
There came no response. He tapped his comm badge again. "Bridge! Respond!"
In all the confusion he had yet to notice that the Turbolift itself had halted. He attempted to return to Deck 1 but with no effect. As the Scavenger tilted again he looked to the ceiling of the Turbolift and frowned. Somehow he always ended up crawling through the inner workings of a Starship. It was hardly a fun scenario. Before setting off he tapped his comm badge again, just in case those on the Bridge could hear him.
"I am making my assent through Turbolift shaft 2. I repeat shaft 2. Enable evasive patterns to get us out of this Nebula and find out who the hell is firing on us!" He yelled as the Scavenger bucked again.

Pride: Had been shutting down non needed systems in order to get more power for Rezula when he felt the first his from the alien ship. They had been hiding in the nebula outside there limited senor range when the secound volley hit the scanenger. primary power when down and back up came up. Quickly studying what damage had occured to report to commander Cavit " Commander life support out on deck 8, primary weaposn sytem off line trying to switch to back up."
Turning to Rezula " I need a all power thrown into the shields now we wont servive another hit like that one" <Tag Rezula>
Looking back at the senors the alien ship was gone knowing that all that meant was the alien ship was out of there limited range its time to make us a moving target engaging impulse drive pride noticed he didn't have full impulse only a quarter quickly trying to adjust for it.
" Commander impulse drive was also damaged we only have a 1/4 also ships communication are also badly damaged" <Tag Cavit>

The conversation between Katie and Paikea was not a long one, but it had helped him a lot. It had calmed him down and cleared his head. She always had that effect on him and with both of them feeling a bit better they headed towards Astrometrics.
Paikea was surprised to see that they were not the last people to arrive. It surprised him even more that it was Illito that was late. Paikea knew that she was extremely dedicated and that if she wasn't here it was because she didn't feel this would need her full attention.
That of course was wrong, as Commander Drago explained to them that they would be entering the nebula and that Illito would need to inoculate the entire crew. The news of course got worse as the Captain explained that the inoculation would not completely protect them.
Everyone that needed to be on the bridge was no hard at work. Commander Drago's orders were simple, but very precise. In a matter of minutes the Scavenger entered the Nebula. Paikea's sensors were hard at work picking up on anything and everything that was happening around them. The only problem was that the current environment was not very inviting to the sensors.
"You have the Bridge Commander." He said before continuing to walk to the Turbolift. He paused briefly and turned round. "Try not to blow anything else up."
Paikea couldn't help but laugh a bit, but Semia's glare quickly shut him up. "What, I think Commodore T'Mar would of said the same thing."
Before she could respond, the ship rocked violently as weapons fire once again hit the hull of the ship.
"Report!" Semia ordered as she picked herself up.
"Sensor's are having a hard time picking up the ship that the weapons fire is coming from," Paikea reported.
"How many are out there?" Semia asked.
"Just one, but it seems that there sensors have adapted to the interference," Katie reported.
"Get us out of here," Semia ordered," and get me Drago."
"Trying, comm system was hit," Paikea responded," other systems were damaged."
"Commander impulse drive was also damaged we only have a 1/4."
"Lt. can we go to warp in here?" Paikea asked knowing how dangerous it could be.
"We can't do it," Katie reported," to much stress on the hull already. The ship won't survive."
"Semia I recommend you take tactical," Paikea suggested," as long as were stuck here, I recommend we fire back."

Captain Drago explained that Illito had only a few hours to inoculate every single person aboard the Scavenger, more than 300. “I hope this is sufficient?” he asked. Illito looked carefully at her commanding officer, and saw that he wasn't actually trying to put the crew in danger. Illito suddenly liked the new Captain a lot better. She hadn't really believed his seemingly cavalier attitude towards the crew, and was glad to see that her nagging, paranoid subconscious was wrong after all.
“I hope so too,” Illito replied, her light blue eyes meeting the captain's, and she smiled slightly. “But I had better get started soon.”
Illito walked quickly down to sickbay, once again she didn't have time to linger after the staff meeting. She sort of wanted to talk to Lieutenant Pride, but he was busy too, and she wasn't sure what they would talk about. Illito entered sickbay, and saw Lt. Avel waiting for her.
After developing the inoculation the two doctors consulted briefly, and determined that while sending the inoculation through the ventilation might well work there was no way to know for sure until it was too late. “I'll take the bridge,” Illito said. “Do you want to go to engineering?”
“Why not?” Lt. Avel replied, for once his voice's tinge of sarcasm and dislike for the chief medical officer was partially concealed, a definite improvement, Illito decided. Other officers left on various tasks, but sickbay was left staffed with enough people to handle all but the most dangerous situations
Illito set the commands to cycle the inoculation through the air, after informing engineering just what she was doing, so they wouldn't panic and assume there was sabotage occurring. Then she walked back up to the bridge. She realized that no one would be very happy to see her, but she had a duty to keep them all from dying.
As she was walking there, she felt the unmistakable shudder of the ship being attacked. She almost turned around to head back to sickbay to take care of the injured, but she stopped herself. The turbolift didn't respond to her summons, and when Illito tried to use her commbadge she found it wasn't working.
She sighed, and quickly put the bag containing the hyposprays with the the inoculation over her shoulder and climbed the ladder to go up the three levels to the bridge. She realized that this would put her slightly behind, which meant she didn't have time to argue with anyone.
She arrived on the bridge, and took out a hypospray. “I'm going to give you all the inoculation that will keep you from dying,” Illito said, turning to look at the first officer, since the captain seemed to be missing. “Thank you for cooperating.”
Illito approached Commander Cavit first. “I just need one of your hands for three seconds,” Illito asked, before she continued on to other members of the crew.

Pride: Listened to what the total damage was and started thinking there was no way they were going to out run that alien ship and right now they couldn't go toe to toe until repairs were made. Then he noticed the doctor walking in to give injections trying to keep busy knowing that he had already taxed his body to fight off the effects and to stay sharp turning to commander Cavit " I recommend we go deeper into the nebula I dont think they are able to handle it any better the us it would start to effect there systems and give us some time to get repairs done" <Tag Cavit>

Rez hit a few buttons sending things back to her console. "I need to be at my station for this," she said and moved back there. She was working hard on getting more power to the shields, and kept sending and recieving messages to and from engineering. Several repairs needed attention, and she commanded them into action helping from her station as needed.
Rez heard the suggestion of moving into the nebula, and then the doc came to give her the medicine.
"Alright doc, but make it quick, I have a lot of work to do," she said submitting quickly. Once it was over she checked a few of the systems to see what the nebula would do to the ship, and she sighed.
"I wouldn't suggest going too deep into the nebula. The ship can't take even a little too much of the unstablized gas in this condition. Even in the best condition, this ship would be only be at half power in this nebula," she said and continued to work. ~It won't be easy in this, but we will make it. We will pass this test.~ She thought, and continued to work hard bent over her station.

Pride: Listened to everybody's concerns and agreed the it wasn't the smartest move but he didn't really see any other choice
" Commander Cavit I know its not safe but it will keep us on a equal playing field even the alien ship is going to have to adjust and try to compensate for the nebula. I only want to try to give Rezula time to get primary weapons systems back on line and maybe get warp drive working again. Then we can exit the nebula and say hello to our new friends out there and find out what this is all about." turning Apirana looking for some backing on his idea.

"We are now entering the 'Urn Zone'." Came the report from the helm as Luke stumbled out of the Turbolift access hatch. He found himself rolling across the floor as Pride sharply turned the Scavenger to avoid another barrage of enemy fire.
"We can't keept doing this!" Cavit yelled, unaware, like everyone else on the Bridge, that Drago had appeared on Deck.
"It won't be necessary to." Luke said, keeping his composure as yet again the Scavengr bucked dangerously.
"Do you know something I don't?" His FO asked quietly.
"I know lots of things you don't." Luke said with a small smile. "But in this case, Yes. They won't persue us for long in the 'Urn Zone'. Not if they have any sense at least."
"Well you appear to not have any sense then." She retorted. "For bringing us here in the first place."
"You are not the first to question my judgement, and I am sure you will not be the last." He paused. "But you are the first to not get out of my chair when I haven been standing here for at least a minute." He added, as the ship yet again turned sharply, sending several officers flying while the inertial dampeners tried to compensate.
"Sorry!" Pride yelled from helm.
"Not at all Lt." Luke replied. "Hold her steady."
Cavit stood slowly and went to position herself next to Cole, who was on duty at Tactical. Luke was sure this was some sort of deliberate action.
"They are breaking off their persuit." Xerin reported.
Luke grinned. "Not so daft then. Status report!"

Matthew was in Astrometrics when the fire fight started. He had left the Bridge only minutes before to continue his work on the navigational array. The instability of the Nebula meant that updates were needed every hour or so, otherwise Lt. Pride would have very little, or none at all, recent information, which of course would prove a problem when it came to navigating the chaotic region.
The attack itself came of no surprise to the young Officer, he had of course been expecting it. Admiral Oren had warned him of the situation and of course had promised a quick and easy accession of ranks, promising Commander by the end of the year. This had all proved too tempting for Longe, he had snapped up the offer, along with one or two others who's names had not been revealed but Oren had promised he would not be alone on this.
He bent down over the console and pressed a few buttons, a channel immediately opened to the vessel that had engaged the Scavenger.
=^= What is it Ensign? =^= A man snapped from the darkness of the screen. Longe had yet to see any of the faces of those he had been working with. If he had any sense at all he would realise that this was of course suspicious, but often eagerness for promotion and glory clouds the senses. He had been told Drago was dangerous and that Admiral Lin's judgement should be questioned and so he accepted this.
Oh the young and foolish...
"You will not persue the Scavenger into the 'Zone'?" He asked quietly.
=^= Of course not =^= Came another snapped reply. =^= I take it this channel is secure =^=
"Yes, I have made sure of that." He paused. "Not only that the Scavenger is experiencing several crippling disabilities due to the Nebula. They will not pick up on this transmission until this mission is long over."
=^= Assuming this mission is completed that is, Drago is no fool. Nor is the crew he works with. They are not quite ready to accept him yet but he will prove himself to them and when that happens no promises on the safety of this mission can be guarenteed =^=
"There will be no problems." Longe assured the figure cloaked in darkness. "I for one no how this will turn out."
=^= You don't know at all! =^= The man exclaimed. =^= How can you?! Why do you think Drago ordered the Scavenger into the Nebula in the first place? =^=
"A training mission that we took advantage of..."
=^= Don't be so naive! He was well aware that Oren has informants on the Scavenger and he was more than aware of Starfleet's dissaproval of his new position. He is no fool, watch yourself =^=
With that the comm was cut, leaving Longe along with an uncomfortable feeling. One of doubt, and fear... Suddenly the golden promise of promotion was not so golden.

Pride: Watched as the alien ship that had opened fire on them headed back into the nebula. I cant beleave this they had us why did they break of persuite. Looking back down at his read outs he caught something just for a moment. It wasn't enought to go off but it appeared for a few secounds the alien ship had recieved a transmission he couldn't tell where it came from or whom sent. Turning back to Commander Drago and thinking he sent his report to the Commander he didn't say anything just forwarded it.
" Commander automated nav systems are down Astro metrics is updating manual with information all of helm control is now on manual its going to be a bumpy ride I have to manual pilot the ship makeing slight adjustments to keep us on course untill repairs are done" <Tag anyone on the bridge>
