Welcome Tynil Nurem (and what race might that name be?...) I'll be teaching Science on the USS Hanson, which will most likely be your training vessel. If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask, and feel free to start simming here on the Conquerer, we have both a class room sim set up and a holodeck sim, you can post in both, treating them as different times Right now I have her has betazoid/human.
I look forward to simming here. Where are the class and holodeck threads? I don't want to post in the wrong spot.

I don't want to post in the wrong spot. They're quite obvious in title:D But you're perfectly welcome to create a thread on your own...and hope instructors/fellow cadets will join you. I'm looking for a thread to join as "new life" is kinda getting out dated (just need two responses there, from two admirals one each;d)...so if you feel like creating something new, I'll try to join you there. ~ Commander S'reena Hope, FO USS Hanson ~ (who is too lazy to switch accounts to post under that account ;D)

I am assuming that Class? is the classroom? Might I make a suggestion and sticky the holodeck and classroom at the top of the area? I will be working on my intro post today and see where to put it.
Thank you again.

We already have three posts stickied to the top. We don't sticky threads unless they have permanent importance. I should be pretty easy for all to keep track of them, though.

Welcome Cadet Pride. I don't know what positions you filled out on your join form, but any and all can lead to the Captaincy of a ship.
If I may, would you please be so kind and go back into your profile where you set up your member name and seprate Desertpride to read as Desert Pride. That is if you have two names. Reading your reporting in post, you did seperate it there. This way the rest of us aren't confused about adressing you when we look at your name. Thanks!
You will have lots of fun here. Enjoy...see you on the boards!

Josh got off the shuttle at SB Conquerer, looked at the PADD he brought with him, and asked the computer where Commodore ONE was at. When the computer responded, Josh went to the turbolift that would take him to OPS. When he got there, he went up to the Commodore's office and touched the door chime.
"Enter," was all that he heard. He went in and stood at attention three paces from the only desk in the room.
"Sir, Cadet Josh Reo, CTSO, reporting for duty."

Thank you, Ms. Jerome, and welcome to the Starbase Conqueror! Your request to be an Acting Ensign has been approved, and you will be assigned to one of the main fleet vessels shortly. In the mean time feel free to sim on the Conqueror. Happy Simming!!
P.S. Your join form says "Kaz James" if memory serves. What is your final decision for a character name? Thanks.

Judd stepped off the shuttle, his duffle bag over his shoulder, and looked around in wonder. He'd been off Earth before with his parents, as they worked on one colony or another, but this was his first time on a bona fide Starbase. At first, he wondered why he wasn't being sent to Starfleet Academy in San Francisco, but now that he was here at Starbase Conqueror, it didn't really seem to matter that much.
Well, enough gawking like a yokel. He followed the conveniently posted directions, and soon found the Academy offices. He paused to double-check his uniform, then stepped in. At the desk, he set his duffle on the deck, came to a rather stiff version of 'attention', and announced, in his distinct Tennessee drawl, "Cadet Judd Sandage, reporting for duty, sir!"
The officer at the desk looked up. "What area of training have you applied for, Cadet?" he asked as he keyed the console in front of him.
"I've applied for Engineering training, sir," Judd replied.
"Very well," the officer said. "Have a seat over there, and someone will be along to collect you shortly."
"Yes, sir!" Judd exclaimed. He picked up his duffle, executed a less-than-perfect left-face, and walked rather stiffly to the seats that the officer had indicated, and sat down to wait.

Mr Sandage, just a quick note here, someone else might tell you this, but i am here, so.... Please go to your profile and chaange your display name so that your first and last name are seperate. As i stated before, someone else might tell you this also. Although I am not apart of the academy, I do read the threads. and it makes it easier to find someone's post if there are seperate names...if that makes sence, it did to me while i was typing it...

Welcome Cadet Sandage!
If you click on Profile-Modify Profile, in the Display name area you can change your name as Commander Gonto said. You can also capitalize it.
If you go out with the Hanson (one of the two Academy ships) I believe I will be your instructor, as Iām the Engineering instructor.
As this is more a thread to deal with administrative issues, feel free to join a currently active thread, although at the moment there are few of those, or start a thread of your own. If you start a new thread, it can be about anything you want, and others will join you.
Again, welcome to the Academy and Section 47. If you have any questions, feel free to ask them of me.

Cadet Sandage,
You also have the option of joining the recently started Hepta mission. It is up to you, but please let us know which ship you would prefer.
Thanks,

Noted. Thank you for the clarification, Ms. Jerome. Welcome to the Section 47 Academy, Mr. Sandage. If you would like to get started right away, please hurry over to the Hepta board (right below the SB Conqueror on the list) and report in right away. They are about a week into their mission, but it shouldn't take too long to catch up. Otherwise, join a thread or start your own here on the Conqueror! Let us know if you have any questions.
