=A=Medical officer to the Brig please=A=
"Oh dear." Brelev sighed. "EMH, my cadet should be arriving soon with Admiral Drew, when they do, page me and I'll see if I can return, otherwise pull up the Admiral's medical record and help Henchard to run the standard tests."
"Of course." The EMH replied, he did not sound too pleased at the prospect of 'Babysitting' a cadet, but he'd cope. Brelev grabbed a med kit and headed to the Brig. Why did they need her there, the Hanson was not hosting any prisoners
The doors to the Brig slid open and Brelev stepped inside. Commander Daya stood guard and his cadet seemed to be nursing an injured wrist. He did not seem to be the reason she was called, a Science cadet who had been assigned to Commander Hope was laying still on the floor of her cell. "What happened, why is she hurt?" Brelev asked, heading to the patient. "What is she doing here?"
"She attacked Commander Hope, from what I heard it was not even provoked. Then my cadet tried to get her to sit down and she attacked him." Commander Daya explained.
"And so he attacked her back." Brelev added with an air of disgust "She's an unarmed female, he's bigger then her and is armed. Perhaps this is something you should address Commander"
<Tag Damean for a defense>
"It does not matter now, lower the force field." Brelev orderd. The cadet paused. "I'm fully aware of the danger cadet, but her wounds must be treated.
The two men obeyed and Brelev stepped inside. The cadet had a wounded wrist and a minor concussion most likely recieved when she fell. But what Brelev was really interested in was why a Star Fleet cadet on her last leg of training would attack a senior officer. "Cadet, I'd like some witness reports on what happened, beginning with Commander Hope. Bring her here I'd like, I'm asumming that she needs my attention as well."

"She's an unarmed female, he's bigger then her and is armed. Perhaps this is something you should address Commander"
"Excuse me sir , but she had already attacked an officer , and was sentenced to confinement , my reaction was appropriate to a violent prisoner attempting to escape" Damon pleaded his case to the obviously disapproving medical officer.
"And I did not use any form of weapon"
"It does not matter now, lower the force field." Brelev ordered. The cadet paused. "I'm fully aware of the danger cadet, but her wounds must be treated. Brelev Stepped into the cell , as Damon watched with anticipation. He didn't want to harm her , and didn't think he would with what was a defensive action but sometimes people get hurt by accident. The cadet still wasn't sure where he stood with DAYA , would he have instructed this course of action given the chance? after the reprimand he received from the Doctor a sense of panic filled him , would he face assault charges for this? Had he been to violent?

Crystal guides the ship out of dock, until it achieves sufficient distance to ease into warp. Despite the fact that everything has been perfectly routine Crystal still feels the power available in the Hanson. Crystal senses that the ship is built by the best of engineers. She still can't believe that she is actually trusted to steer this ship, as even though she knows she's only really watching the computer guide the ship.
“So Crystal,” Drew asks, interrupting her train of thoughts, not necessarily a bad thing, “how was your shore leave?”
“Fine, I guess. I talked with-” Crystal starts to respond, when she is interrupted by a sound suspiciously like a punch. Crystal glances around, and her eyes rest on the cadet by the first officer. Crystal takes in the scene, but it takes her a few moments to accept that this is truly happening. She has thought that the years of Starfleet Academy did their best to 'instill respect for superior officers,' and such, they had certainly tried, and, to an extent, succeeded, doing so with her. Which was what made Crystal view the scene unfolding as...unprecedented.
She almost says something to the captain, but realizes that would be repetitious, since he has obviously already noticed the...altercation between the science cadet and his first officer. Crystal silently wonders what will happen to the cadet, since Crystal hasn't seen anything like this happen before.

A call from the brig brought S'reena back to reality. She'd been massaging her sore shoulders and she was certiain her back was covered with glass splinters. It certainly felt that way and she wouldn't be surprised if it were the case, not with the force with which she'd smashed into the panels.
She was also starting to suffer a mild headache but she was determined to ignore it. The Romulan was trying to remember what had sparked the cadet's anger and attack but she couldn't find any fault in her words. She'd been extremely patient in her explanations and she certainly hadn't touched the young woman in any way. She was quite certain of that.
Before excusing herself to go down to the brig area, S'reena tapped her combadge. "Hope to engineering, please send someone up to replace the science wall panels. A little accident smashed them."
<boissey/smith...feel free to use an npc for this ;D>
Once that was settled, S'reena entered the nearest turbolift and headed down to the brig. She nodded politely towards Daya, who for some reason was casting her an odd look. A glance at his young cadet told her that he was mulling over something, as he clearly didn't look too happy.
Moving over to he cell, she noticed Brelev crouching beside the science cadet. "Is something wrong with her?" S'reena spoke up, addressing the CMO, squinting painfully against the cell's bright ilumination. "You paged me to come here, I assume you have questions on what happened?"

OOC : Here's your NPC. I had a little fun on my own, apologies for the length.
IC :
A groaning got back to Commander Hope as first response. Then a deep voice answered.
=^= Chief Kron from engineering, on my way ma’am =^=
Commander Smith delegated the Tellarite chief to this miner repair. Kron groaned again anything but enthusiastic at the idea of glass breaking repair.
=^= Computer locate Commander Hope =^= =^= Commander Hope is on the bridge =^=
“Alright.”
Chief Kron made his way to the storage and prepared an antigrav unit to transport the new panels that will replace the former ones. As Commander Hope had not be really talkative about the nature of the panels which had be broken he took a sample of every component that could be “smashed” or could be damaged by an impact strong enough to smash Starfleet glass panels. He was making his task on a precocious and calm rhythm, humming some tune by the way. The equipment was now ready. Kron pushed the antigrav unit out of storage and headed to the turbolift. In there he met Ensign Sitensky.
“Ah Kron. My sonic shower is still malfunctioning. I can’t have it working right more than a few minutes along…” The young woman began to complain. Kron made what he made the better : he groaned again. “Unlike some people I know I’ve no time enough to cackle or to take long showers. Yours will be repaired as soon as needed.” The turbolift stopped and Sitensky went out. She still continued. “But when ?” “I’ve met many annoying humans but I think you’re the worst of what your species calls females. Give me two hours.” “Thanks” Sitensky began but the turbolift doors were already shut. She smiled and went away.
The Tellarite eventually arrived on the bridge, 20 minutes after he had been called. He headed to the science station, glancing around. Everything seemed to be normal. No rush, no worried admiral, no weird alien on screen. “Still they managed to break something.” Kron told to himself.
Two panels were damaged. Chief Kron started to clean the area to take a look on the underneath components to see if any had to be replaced. Then he replaced the panels and spent the next half hour reconnecting the tactile cells to the fitting circuits. “Here it is.” He said finally rubbing the panel surface with a soft cloth. “New and shining like a Vulcan butt.”

Paul heard the words flow out of Kalens mouth as if in a dream. Kalen was taking the rap for this. Paul didn’t feel he deserved this, true it had been an accident but Kalen couldn’t be too sure. I mean it was a very rare case when an officer forgot to lock his quarters and a Cadet accidentally wondered into it to use the shower. It was very, very rare. The respect for Kalen grew more and more as Kalen started to make up some half truth about how he had not given Paul a proper tour of the ship and the young man had become lost all of a sudden and just assumed he was in the right quarters.
“I hadn’t made sure the Cadet under my charge was comfortable enough to find his way around the ship by himself” Kalen explained Mrs Drew seemed to be buying the story, “He’s only been to his quarters once and when he left my supervision, I didn’t enquire about his welfare as to finding his way back to his quarters or my presence.”
Drew looked at Kalen and then at the Young Cadet. Her eyes though still quite hard, seemed to soften slightly. She looked down at the pad which had been left in her presence and sighed.
“So Cadet how do you explain this?” Mrs Drew asked Paul.
“Well ma’am I didn’t realise I was in the wrong quarters until Kalen hailed me, that is when I saw the picture of your wonderful family and realised I’d made a mistake. Then I left in a hurry leaving behind Doctor Kalen’s pad. So I must share half the blame” Paul decided he would leave out the part about using the showers so as not to infuse the situation.
Mrs Drew looked from the Cadet to the Doctor. The tension mounted as both men sweated it out thinking about weather or not the would be taken to the nearest star base for court marshal or not. Then Mrs Drew opened her mouth to speak…..

“Well,” Drew said, exchanging looks with Crystal and Jason as S’reena left the bridge, “that was certainly interesting.”
“It sure was,” Jason replied, leaning over his console to get a better lock at the now damaged science station, “Kalen wont like that.”
Drew got up from his chair, and examined the damage to his bridge; it didn’t appear to be anything too serious. An Engineer would be able to easily fix it in a few minutes.
“Hopefully there will be a perfectly good reason for all this,” Drew said, walking back towards the command level, “I would hate to have to keep a Cadet in the brig for their entire training voyage.”
Just then, the turbolift doors opened to reveal the medical cadet – Michael Henchard, who quickly stepped out of the turbolift, and looked briefly over at the damaged science station in surprise.
“You’re a little late Cadet,” Drew said smiling, “Commander Hope has already left the bridge.”
“I am not here to see the Commander,” Michael replied, walking down towards Drew, “Dr. Brelev has asked me to take you down to sickbay for your physical.”
Drew silently groaned, he hated physicals, as Brelev well knew, she also knew that he wouldn’t argue with a Cadet like he would with her. Taking a very deep breath, Drew resigned himself to the fact that maybe this time there was no escape.
“Very well Cadet,” Drew replied slowly, “I’ll come with you to sickbay.”
“Thank you Admiral,” Michael replied, “it shouldn’t take too long.”
“Indeed,” Drew replied, “Lieutenant Shinsei, seeing as Commander Reynolds is busy, you have the bridge, let me know the second anything comes up.”
“Aye Admiral,” Crystal replied, hiding her knowing smile at Drew’s hint.
“Very good,” Drew answered, putting his arms to his side, and then behind his back, finally he turned to Cadet Henchard.
“You had better lead the way then Cadet,” Drew said, as he followed Michael towards the turbolift.
OOC: Take it away Cadet Henchard, although I would prefer if you find nothing too serious with Drew, I need him for this mission lol ;-)

Location: Turbolift, in transit to sickbay
"Deck 5." The turbolift began its rapid descent towards the sickbay. Cadet Henchard gave a quick glance in the direction of the admiral, only to find that Admiral Drew was wringing his hands nervously. Henchard also noticed that the admiral was a bit clammy, an obvious sign of some medical trauma. "Admiral Drew, is anything wrong?"
The door whooshed open. "Nothing in particular, Cadet. You wanted me for a routine examination, and you're about to get it." Admiral Drew's reply was calm and collected, but Cadet Henchard couldn't help but notice the flash of a painful expression across the admiral's face.
Henchard led Admiral Drew into the sickbay. Tapping his comm badge, the cadet attempted to call his superior officer, Commander Brelev. "Cadet Henchard to Commander Brelev, where are you? I've escorted the admiral to sickbay, and I'm ready to begin the check-up."
Brelev's response was quick. "Cadet, I've been recruited to treat the participants in a scuffle here at the brig. Go ahead without me."
"Aye, sir," came Henchard's reply. Turning his attention toward Admiral Drew, "Well, Admiral, we're ready to begin."
"Speak for yourself," retorted Drew.
(Why, oh why does everyone hate medical examinations!?!)
Running the tricorder over his patient, Michael Henchard soon realized the ailment that the admiral was suffering from.
"Well," sighed Cadet Henchard, snapping shut his medical tricorder, "You've done a good job hiding it, but you have a fractured scapula."
"What's that, Cadet?" Drew feigned surprise at the cadet's analysis.
"You have a broken bone in your shoulder. It must hurt quite a bit. It's not too serious, but I'd like to treat it immediately. You should be ready to return to duty within the hour. But why did you try hiding your injury?" Cadet Henchard tried to figure out what reasons the admiral would have.

"Is something wrong with her?" S'reena spoke up, addressing the CMO, squinting painfully against the cell's bright ilumination. "You paged me to come here, I assume you have questions on what happened?"
"I do, but first Commander, you are injured and I'd like to attend to that first." Brelev replied. "I know you dispise sickbay so I'll do my best to treat you while we talk. Cadet, could you fetch the internal sensor records of the last hour on the Bridge, I think they may help shed some light on this incident."
<Tag Damean>
Brelev sat S'reena down and checked her over, her back was cut from shards of panel glass, and she seemed to have a impact caused headache. Brelev gave her a mild dose of rexaline and began working on removing the remaining glass from her back. "Commander Daya, if you wouldn't mind I think that Commander Hope might appreciate a little privacy. Oh, and S'reena. I thnk perhaps that my cadet was unable to catch you before you left. Your son is going to be fine, he's dealing with a reaction to his enviroment, as Henchard put it: he is allergic to space. Things should right themselves out in a few days, but I have given your husband some welll deserved time off to take the childern to the holodeck and help your son adapt."
<Tag S'reena>
"You had questions?" S'reena repeated.
"Yes, It seems shocking to me that a cadet like Isis would attack a senior officer so suddenly and from what i heard she was unprovoked. I'd like to explore al possibilitys. Perhaps cadet Isis was not in her right mind at the time, or perhaps she was provoked. I'd like you to be completly honest with me Commander, if I am going to treat this girl I need to know exactly what happened." Brelev explained.

S'reena sighed with relief when the CMO informed her of her son's condition. When Brelev proceeded in removing the glass shards, she dutifully removed her tunic and held up her undershirt, ignoring Daya's somewhat embarassed glance.
The Romulan could care less whether he peeked or not, as long as she wasn't required to go down to sickbay to get this done. She winced when Brelev continued with her ministrations.
"I don't know what got into her doctor," S'reena explained as she struggled to relax, "we were going over calibration of the science sensors and one was malfunctioning. I thought she had forgotten to calibrate it and then suddenly she went in a fit. Before I knew it she had given me a nice punch and smashed me against the panels behind the science station."
She turned around carefully to make eye-contact with the Denobulan doctor. "It could be she isn't in her right mind, I will require a full psychological analysis to confirm your theory doctor. In the mean time, Cadet Isis will be confined to the brig, at least until she issues an apology."
The Romulan gazed up at Daya and Taylor. "Gentlemen, as I said, Cadet Isis is to remain here and will not be allowed to be visited by her peers. I believe you two were running security checks or were going to do holodeck training?" This was a mild suggestion for them to leave.
"Doctor, are you done? I have to return to the bridge."
<and I bet I'm due a physical too at some point.......yuck lol>

Jason was pleased at the ease that his cadet was handling the diagnostic. It was not very hard, so Jason had to make sure to give him a more difficult one in the future. One that would take hours rather than seconds.
As Jason listened to his cadet, a commotion spurred up on the bridge. As he turned around he saw a cadet strike S'reena. His first instinct was to go to his superiours defense, but saw that Daya was already there. Plus Jason knew that S'reena could more than defend herself.
The cadet was escorted from the bridge and S'reena soon made her departure.
"Mr. Richards, remember when I told you that you might have to do the science officer's job," Jason remarked," well that is one reason for it."
"I will call a repair team to fix this," a Lt. on the bridge remarked.
"Don't bother Lt. I will fix this," Jason replied still a bit stunned, but ready to get things moving again," Mr. Richard if you would like to help me repair this console."

"Right, I want you to run battle stress simulations series bravo 2 to Zulu three, and run a random pressures check for an extended battle period."
Charlotte looked confused.
"Right. my bad, that's an old term. Starfleet doesn't teach it anymore. An Extended battle period requires high energy output at a constant rate- Maximum flow that is- with simulated random hits for an extended period of time. That usually comes out to about an hour, they used to have standards that depended on a ship's Tactical abilities. I suppose it got too complicated..." Max trailed off and then snapped back up. "Right, carry on, sorry for rambling."
Boissy walked off, leaving Max to contemplate.
Have I really gotten that Old? He shook his head as he sat in the office chair. It seems like yesterday that I got my commission. But I missed out on a lot marooned on that rock...
He sighed and started running a few tests on the configuration himself.
"Gamma series checks out... " he mumbled. "this could work...."
then something new came up.
USS Sky warning. navigational databanks being remotely accessed.
Max stared at the computer screen. Then he tapped his commbadge. "Commander Smith to the Admiral. Somebody is tapping into my ship's navigational banks, and I have a hunch that it's not anyone on the bridge...."

OOC sorry for not posting, bit busy and what not, no internet working for awhile, stuff like that, anyway, lets see.
IC: Daya had turned around to head back towards the holodeck, after reaceiving his orders to get some practices for his cadet, when he heard a crash, and an obvious groan. Turning around he saw Commander Hope against a console, broken glass around her, and the cadet she was instructing, ready to strike. Instincts allowed both Cadet Taylor and Daya to move quickly to interfere. Taylor went for the cadet, while Daya went to Hope's side, hoping to hold her back.
With a growl Commander Hope turned to DAYA. "Security, please escort Miss Isis to the brig,"
Isis lifted her arm again but The new security cadet reached forward and grabbed it from the air an twisted it behind her back.
"Striking an officer is a serious charge Miss Isis, you will be confined to the brig until further notice, and you are not to receive visitors." Isis struggled a little but then Daya grabbed her other arm and the security personel walked her towards the turbolift. On the way to the brig, Daya kept quiet, as nothing needed to be said at the moment.
When they got to the Brig Daya went to the console and charged the beam for the empty cell while Damion Taylor walked Isis to the empty bunk inside.
Just as he was going to leave Isis wouldn't sit down and attempted to push past him.
"please , don't struggle there is no point" she pushed him into the wall and darted for the exit. Before the was even a word uttered Taylor swung his leg across in between Isis and the exit and she stopped and turned to him swinging her fist. He grabbed her wrist and she fell to her knees as he slowly twisted her arm , then he released it and she fell to the floor. Daya activated the force field.
Damon shook his hand and walked to the wall panel and pressed a button.
=A= Medical officer to the brig please=A=
Daya watched as the cadet lay on the ground for a minute, and Damon rubbing his wrist, "good work, you did what needed to be done" Daya commented as the cadet walked over to his side.
The doors to the Brig slid open and Brelev stepped inside. Commander Daya stood guard and his cadet seemed to be nursing an injured wrist. He did not seem to be the reason she was called, a Science cadet who had been assigned to Commander Hope was laying still on the floor of her cell. "What happened, why is she hurt?" "And I did not use any form of weapon"
"Cadet, I'd like some witness reports on what happened, beginning with Commander Hope. Bring her here I'd like, I'm asumming that she needs my attention as well."
"Commander Daya to Commander Hope, please report to the brig" Daya said, tapping his comm badge, he looked over at Taylor, who seemed a bit shook up, obviously worried about getting in trouble. With a quick nod at the cadet, Daya let him know he did what he should have. A few moments later, Commander Hope stepped through the doors. 'i hope she cooled down a bit' Daya thought to himself.
Daya stood watching as the doctor treated Hope's back, and looking at him asked him to give some privacy. Rolling his eyes at himself, a little embarresed for getting caught, he turned his back away and looked at the wall.
While Brelev and Hope were talking, Daya stood quietly, Damon beside him, they both tried to keep themselves occupied while waiting for the doctor to finish. When she did, Hope confronted them.
The Romulan gazed up at Daya and Taylor. "Gentlemen, as I said, Cadet Isis is to remain here and will not be allowed to be visited by her peers. I believe you two were running security checks or were going to do holodeck training?" This was a mild suggestion for them to leave.
"Yes ma'am" Daya said with a slight sigh, and headed out the doors, leading the cadet towards the holodeck, again.

Drew looked up surprised at Michael’s prognosis that he had a broken collar bone. He had been experiencing some pain recently, but he had put that down to the injuries from when he had been shot during an away mission during the last training voyage.
“Believe me Cadet, I had no idea about it,” Drew replied, in response to Michael’s question, “sure I had some pain there, but I didn’t put it down to a broken bone.”
“Well, it is easy enough to treat,” Michael replied, walking over to one of the small medical equipment trolleys, “it’s a simple procedure.”
Drew watched a little nervously as Michael came back with his tools. Although he had full confidence in Starfleet training, Michael was still only a Cadet, what if he did something wrong?
“Have you done this before then Cadet?” Drew asked, as Michael prepared for the operation.
“Oh yes,” Michael replied, “I preformed the operation during one of my classes at the Academy, of course, that patient was actually already dead, but still, the principles are the same.”
“Of course they are” Drew repeated, trying to force a smile.
“Admiral are you ok?” Michael asked, “Your heart rate has just increased dramatically!”
“I am fine Cadet,” Drew lied, “please proceed.”
“This wont hurt at all sir,” Michael said, as he begin the operation.
Drew closed his eyes, and tried to concentrate on happy thoughts, walking along a beautiful beach on a warm sunny day, the sound of the waves crashing against the rocks. Then for some reason Crystal appeared in his thoughts, saying something.
“Admiral Drew please respond,” came Crystal’s voice over the intercom, bringing Drew out of his trance. He could hear Michael arguing over the channel that his patient needed rest.
“Go ahead Crystal,” Drew said, picking up his comm badge from the nearby table.
“Admiral, we have just picked up a distress call from the Federation merchant vessel Bristol.”
Instantly Drew jumped to his feet, much to the objections of both his body, and Cadet Henchard.
“The ship’s status?” Drew asked.
“According to long range sensors they are dead in the water,” Crystal replied, “Admiral, they are also directly on our boarder with the Ferengi Alliance.”
“Understood, Crystal set a course, maximum warp.”
Changing back into his uniform from the medical garment Drew started to make his way towards the door, fully intending to reach the bridge.
“Admiral, don’t you remember me saying you would require at least an hour of rest?” Michael said.
“I am needed on the bridge Cadet,” Drew replied, “you are welcome to accompany me to monitor my condition if you please.”
Sighing loudly, Michael quickly grabbed a medical kit, and followed Drew to the bridge.
“Report,” Drew ordered as he walked out onto the bridge seconds later, Michael close behind him. Crystal looked up from the centre chair where she had been sitting, and quickly rose to her feet to greet him.
“We will be in reach within twenty minutes Admiral,” she reported, “we have tried hailing them but we have got no response.”
“Any signs of hostile forces?” Drew asked, as he quickly reviewed a ship status report passed to him.
“Negative,” Crystal answered, resuming her position at the helm.
“It’s better to be safe than sorry,” Drew said as he sat down in the command chair, and tapped his comm badge, “Red Alert, all hands to battle stations, senior staff report to the bridge.”
Instantly the lighting on the bridge darkened as power was switched to emergency systems, and the loud alarms of red alert sounded repeatedly.
Within minutes the bridge was also filled with the continued sounds of the turbolift doors opening and closing as people reported to their stations. From one out of turbolift stepped S’reena, Daya and Brelev, accompanied by Cadets Taylor and Katan
“What’s happening?” S’reena asked, as she sat in her chair next to Drew.
“We have picked up a distress call from a Federation merchant ship,” Drew explained, “we don’t know the full details yet, but we do know it’s on the Ferengi boarder.”
“Admiral,” Jason called from Ops, “I am detecting strange readings in the area, almost like the remains of a powerful shockwave, its interfering with our sensors, but I believe it could be the cause of the Bristol’s distress, this shockwave would have been strong enough to cripple even the Hanson.”
“Bridge to Engineering,” Drew called over the comm system, “can you do anything to improve our sensor power?”
“We are trying Admiral,” came Max Smith’s reply, “but its not just sensors, most of our systems are experiencing failures, including transporters, its going to take us a while to resolve the issues.”
“I need those systems back to full power Commander!” Drew replied harshly.
“I can but try, Engineering out,” Max answered, closing the channel.
“Can we detect any life signs?” Drew asked.
“No Admiral,” Cadet Richards replied, “our sensors are still losing power.”
“Right, I am taking a shuttle over there,” Drew said, getting up from his chair, “Crystal, Brelev and Methos you’re with me, as are Cadets Henchard and Katan.”
“Admiral!” S’reena protested loudly, “We don’t know what is over there, let me lead the away team.”
“You always get all the fun Commander,” Drew replied as he and his team gathered in the turbolift, “I will have more than enough support with me to handle whatever is over there.”
Before S’reena could reply, the turbolift door had already closed, and the shift started its decent to shuttlebay.
“Commander Kalen and Cadet Cain, please report to shuttlebay one,” Drew said over the comm system, “suit up for an away mission.”
Minutes later the team were boarding the delta flyer class Graeme and preparing for launch.
“We don’t know what we might find over there,” Drew said, briefing his team, “Methos, you and Katan will provide our tactical support, if tricorders wont work over there, we may need to reply on your stealth training, Brelev, you and Michael will obviously be looking out for any injured, we may need to treat them on the spot if transporters don’t come back, Kalen and Cain, I want you both to try to establish what happened to the Bristol”
“Launch check complete Admiral,” Crystal replied from the helm.
“Then by all means, take us out Lieutenant,” Drew ordered, taking one of the vacant seats, “lets hope we are in time to help.”
OOC: Finally some action! LOL Right, for the away team members, I’ll let you describe conditions on the ship, and what we find. Those of you who read the mission ideas thread will know we planned on some kind of anomaly causing problems. This is not the Admiral’s ship, we will find that later, this is more an introduction to the anomaly.
To the Cadet’s left on the ship, I haven’t forgotten you!
Cadet Richards and Bossiey work on getting back our systems. Bossiey, you could perhaps have some thoughts on how the anomaly is affecting the Hanson and how we could resolve it.
Cadet Taylor, you will need to be monitoring the area, making sure nothing endangers the away team.

Charlotte increased the simulated warp power to the maximum and build a programme which would simulate battle hints randomly. The simulation asked by Commander Smith was now running. The diagnostic programme she had already set was recording every reaction of the updated core. According to the commander she just had to kill an hour now.
She took the occasion to watch the engineering crew working. She glanced to Commander Smith but she dared not engage a casual chat to kill time. The man didn’t seem really talkative, at least with her.
"Gamma series checks out... " he mumbled. "this could work...."
“If the warp core tests are conclusive maybe we should run another series of tests this time around the tetryons containment. They’re more volatile than even antimatter. Conversion of the antimatter containment into a tetryons containment might have to be tested in the same conditions than we’re doing now on the core.”
The conversation was broken by a first alarm about a ship called USS Sky. Charlotte understood a minute later that it was Smith’s. Before the commander could get an answer the ship went to Red alert. Red light was pulsing around. Charlotte’s heartbeat fastened. She restrained herself to ask “what’s happening ?”. This was a stupid question to ask. They’ll know soon enough what was going on.
The engines slowed down as they dropped out of warp. Several alarms started to ring around the engineering. Reports were shouted by different stations : sensors down, transporters down, malfunctions reported on all decks, power fluctuation, yellow alert on antimatter and warp core containment.
Charlotte wished she wasn’t in engineering to hear that kind of reports. Fear was running in her blood.
“Bridge to Engineering,” Drew called over the comm system, “can you do anything to improve our sensor power?”
Commander Smith talked to the admiral, reporting the different failures then hurried his team up. Charlotte was ordered to find what external or internal cause was affecting the power system. She compliantly turned back to her console. Stress was altering her thoughts. Her hands on the board were shaking a little. She took a deep breath then tried to get sensors readings. She didn’t get more success than the bridge. Sensors were not responding or gave error messages. Charlotte kept trying for long minutes, it was getting on her nerves. Actually she couldn’t tell which was the more stressful : reluctant sensors or those alarms that kept ringing around.

On the Graeme Paul and Dr Kalen were going through procedures testing their equipment. Phasers set to stun but online, Testing tricorders were working properly, and also making sure they had enough test tubes between them to bring back samples if needed. Brelev and Cadet Henchard were also going through there tricorder readings and making sure their life preserving equipment was working. Methos and Katen were preparing the shuttle for launch and checking their phasers.
"I think we can get under way now Mr Methos" Drew ordered.
The shuttle craft shot out of the bay and on it's way to the Bristol. Paul began to think, and he was sure he wasn't the only one, about weather something on the Bristol could be causing the faults on the Hanson.
Three minutes later
The Greame began an innitial sweep to check out the structural integraty of the ship.
"Major can you run a structual scan over the interior of the ship" Kalen requested and Paul noted.
Methos began the Scan and noticed that the scanners were not working. He wasn't the only one Paul and the rest noticed the scanners not working.
"What about a subspace scan?" Paul Sugested.
<Awayteam anyone>

Sorry if i got Methos's rank wrong i just forgot to research this time.

Brelev replied, getting Commander Hope to undergo a physical was like pulling teeth from a klingon. =A=Cadet Henchard to Commander Brelev, where are you? I've escorted the admiral to sickbay, and I'm ready to begin the check-up.=A= Brele instructed the capable young man to begin without her. She wanted to check on cadet isis and insure she was properly cared for. "Commander Daya." she addressed the security officer as she left. "If you can please monitor Cadet Isis' condition. I have given her the treatment she needs to recover and a mild sedative. I'd like to look at the internal sensors now and look after my own cadet." <Tag Daya> As Brelev was heading back to sickbay she recieved a comm from Admiral Drew. He needed her on a rescue mission. Brelev's pace quickend, this was why she had joined StarFleet. =A= Brelev to the EMH, you will be in charge during my absence, have Doctor Hope return to duty if anything goes wrong.=A= =A= Certainly doctor=A= The EMH replied. =A= Brelev to Cadet Henchard, please report to the shuttle bay and bring a med kit=A= <Tag Henchard> Brelev was breifed by the Admiral and headed to sickbay with him and the rest of the team. "Don't bother Lt. I will fix this," Jason replied still a bit stunned, but ready to get things moving again," Mr. Richard if you would like to help me repair this console."
Max was going to answer when admiral Drew appeared in bridge. He knew that to repair that problem he was going to be easy, so he decided to listen the admiral.
"Red Alert, all hands to battle stations, senior staff report to the bridge."
Then the lights of bridge became in emergency.
The Commander Jason approached the console, he watched it and said:
"I am detecting strange readings in the area, almost like the remains of a powerful shockwave, its interfering with our sensors, but I believe it could be the cause of the Bristol’s distress, this shockwave would have been strong enough to cripple even the Hanson."
"This will delay the work, Commander" said Max.
"Yes, I see." the commander responded, cheking in the console.
For a moment there was silence in bridge, as if the time stopped for a second.
Soon, the admiral breaks silence:
"Can we detect any life signs?" Drew asked.
Max check the console and he said "No Admiral" he knew that something was wrong, "our sensors are still losing power."
It really felt nervous and also he felt very glad of being able to help its admiral. Now, he had to recover the systems. It is time of which one puts into action.
"Commander, we must go to the place of the problem. I believe that repairing transporters we will recover a part of the system, the other part it must make engineering."
Max wake up of the chair and went to turbolift, the commander followed him.
"Deck 4" he said, the doors were closed and tubolift began his descend.
OOC: I believe that a little fun would come to us well. Some explosion or something. ;D

OOC: I like explosions too, ;D
"Commander, we must go to the heart of the problem. I believe that repairing transporters we will fix part of our problems, the other part engineering will have to take care of."
Jason couldn't help, but be a bit skeptical about his cadets findings. Why would transporters fix there power needs? Jason then checked the transporter system and found that it was draining all connecting systems. Sort of a domino effect. At the moment it had only effected back up systems, but if they didn't stop the transporters every major system on the ship would go dark.
"Lead the way, Mr. Richards," Jason said as he entered the turbolift and quickly made there way towards Deck 4. Once they entered the transporter room he saw that the transporter chief was hard at work trying to find what was the problem.
"Report," Jason said as he immediately began scanning the transporters.
"Sir, it happened just a few minutes ago," Lt. Barker said," all of the system's activated and have been on ever sense."
"Have you seen a power drain?" Jason asked.
"No, my sensor's are reporting power levels are normal," Lt. Baker reported. Jason checked for himself and saw that what the Lt. said was in fact true. Sensor's were getting worse by the second.
"Mr. Richards, have you found anything?" Jason asked.

Damon left sickbay and headed towards the bridge , he had been instructed to monitor the security station as there was reports of a stranded ship nearby and althought there was a detected energy source , it still wasnt clear what caused it so the ships stations would all be on high alert in case The Hanson were to face the same fate.
Arriving on the bridge everyone seemed very tense , The away team had left already and S'Reena Hope was in the chair. He knew he needed an update but was wondering how the best way to ask this without seeming rude was. He decided he would leave it open for anyone to explain to him exactly what happened by stepping in front of the security panel and saying ..
"Report?"
Taylor was new , inexperienced and still shaky with protocol , but had hoped that someone would give him a concise report on the situation.

Cadet Henchard took a seat in the shuttle, ready to participate in the away mission. This job was becoming complicated. Not only did the cadet need to look for the injured, but he needed to pay attention to the physical status of the admiral, as well.
"Commander Brelev... Have you... Done this before?" nervously asked the cadet. Despite all of the training, holo-simulations, and the such, Cadet Henchard felt a little anxious about the upcoming situation. How many injured would there be? What if he couldn't help them all.
"Don't worry about it," replied Brelev. "You'll do fine. I saw how you treated that child in sickbay. Whatever we run into, you'll be ready for it."
"I hope you're right." The shuttle departed, and Henchard sat back in his seat to prepare for the short ride.
(OOC sorry about the short post. I'm in a hurry. Tonight I'll write more.)

"Most likely the ship it'self will have medical facilities, maybe even medics of it's own. If we can we should treat them first so they can help us with the rest of the crew." Brelev explained. "Keep your head up and your hand steady, your training will take over you will see."
"Do we know anything about this vessel?" Cadet Henchard asked.
"Not really, the shockwaves in the area have knocked out our scanners, to be honest I'm not even sure what species we will encounter. Which brings me to another issue. Stay close to the rest of the team, don't wander away. It can be tempted to follow a cry for help, but easy to fall into a trap. If you feel the need to investigate something, make sure you take someone else with you." Brelev paused. "I did that once, wonderd off. I'm lucky that the rest of the team heard my calls for help. I learned a very hard lesson that day and I've decided I want my cadets to learn it a little easier."
The Alien vessel grew closer and Brelev could see it outside her window. It seemed almost crumpled up on one side from where the shock waves had hit it and around it debris floated in space, including what looked suspicously like a body. "Admiral, it might be wise if we use the EV suits, without scanners it's impossible to tell if the air in there is even breathable, or even if there is air."

S'reena sat down in the centre chair as she watched Drew leave the bridge. She wasn't too pleased that he went on an away mission, if something would happen to him they'd put it on her plate rather than his. However it seemed he'd finally had gotten some sense as he was taking the security chief with him as well as the security cadet. And enough senior staff who were able to provide protection. She couldn't really blame Drew for wanting a piece of the action, and she would be the last person to deny him some fun, but this was a dangerous situation.
She sighed as she sat down, making sure she didn't spill the coffee an ensign had generously offered her. She wasn't really a coffee person but someone must've thought she might need the caffein boost. ~I'd prefer a strong tea~ S'reena thought, smiling guiltily as she sipped the hot bitter brew.
Then she tapped her combadge. "Bridge to engineering, what's the status on getting our sensors back? The Graeme has left the ship but I'd really like to be able to follow their progress on sensors...."
The Romulan cast a sheepish grin on the operations chief and his cadet before adding: "And I'm sure Commander Reynolds and cadet Richards wouldn't mind the use of their sensors either."

Max looked at Charlotte. "So much for those tests. I need you to check the secondary systems and if possible, bring them online." Charlotte ayed and Max ran off to the master computer. from there, he locked down all computer access on the Sky, then concentrated on what was at hand.
"Kroth!" Jeff called out to the Andorian specialist who had just come in. "I need you try and increase power from the Impulse Engines while I track down what happened to the core."
"How much sir?" Kroth quickly asked.
"As much as you can get. The bridge needs more power, or so they say."
Kroth nodded and moved off, as Jeff isolated any abnormal readings in the Reactor system. He found one on Deck 15, antimatter feed.
that means I need a mobile shield. he thought to himself. Walking over to the storage locker, he got one. He grabbed it and ran for a turbolift.
"Deck 15, Junction 2c."
the lift started moving when a loud blast, accompanied by a violent shaking, arrived. A few seconds later, the turbolift opened- Right next to a hull breach!
beach! must get out! max tried to close the doors to the lift. they hissed partially inwards....
Then stopped. a piece of debris had fallen inside the doors when they opened. max grabbed for the portable shield, opened in as it started slipping from his grasp. In his last effort before he passed out, he leaped out reaching for the activation pad....

Location: Bridge Crystal sits uneasily in the bridge chair, she knows she doesn't belong here. And now she doesn't even have the little lights from the console to look at. She figures she want to have a reason to call Captain Drew up the bridge almost as much as he wants to get out of his sickbay physical. Unfortunately nothing seems to be coming up, and Crystal gazes uneasily at the viewscreen, searching the screen for any asteroids, even though she knows by the time she would see them on the viewscreen the ship would already be safely past them. The Hanson is perfectly capable of taking care of itself, at least against asteroids, a fact Crystal feels unjustifiably proud of. Suddenly a stranded vessel's distress call is picked up, and Crystal quickly taps her commbadge to inform the Admiral. Even though she directs the comm system to Admiral Drew she finds herself arguing with a medical cadet, who claims Admiral Drew has to stay down in sickbay. “I'm afraid this is important,” Crystal informs the cadet. She knows she can handle most things on her own, but this is one of those that she could handle, but shouldn't. When Admiral Drew arrives on the bridge, Crystal gratefully leaps from the center chair, and returns to her spot at the navigation console. She is a little surprised that the Admiral will be accompanying the away team, she had thought that against general Starfleet policy. “Then by all means, take us out Lieutenant,” Drew orders, “lets hope we are in time to help.” “Yeah,” Crystal adds quietly, as she works on piloting the ship. There had been no way to tell if the distress call from the Bristol had been prerecorded or just recorded by someone still alive, and although either way it could mean someone was alive, it might be helpful just to know. “Do you think we should dock, sir?” Crystal asks, as the ship approaches transporter range. While they could transport over, Crystal prefers the idea of docking, because that way if shuttle transporters fail the away team will still be able to leave the other ship. “Can you do so without sensors?” the admiral answers, and Crystal nods. She works on docking the ship while the rest of the team struggles into their EVA suits. When she has finished she is the only one not yet in an EVA suit, but everyone else waits for her before they leave the shuttle. She opens an air-lock door, overriding the Federation merchant vessel's weak objection, and the group enters. <Tag Away Team>
