Location : Engineering
Commander Smith asked her to look after the secondary systems. She answered by an uncertain aye. She couldn’t even get the sensors back online, how was she going to get all secondary systems back working ? She loaded the reports list concerning secondary systems failures. Every functions were fluctuating between none or faint power, just like the sensors.
Charlotte noticed that Smith was going out engineering leaving another officer working on the impulse engines. She focused back to her own work. Stress was mixing with frustration and agitation. “I’m not an engineer” was coming again and again to her thoughts.
“Some airlocks have been unlocked on port bow” she heard across the room “I’m getting the next shift team on duty and on it” the engineer added.
“I got to focus on my own task even if I don’t know how to sort it out!” Charlotte thought to herself trying to forget the shouts and activities of the engineers. Another few lines appeared on the back of the list she was studying. All she could try was deducing what was going on by crossing the failures data.
“How good” she let out loud as her panel screen was now crackling. All she needed was her last instrument available to get down.
The comlink beeped.
“Bridge to engineering, what's the status on getting our sensors back? The Graeme has left the ship but I'd really like to be able to follow their progress on sensors…" Commander Hope’s voice sounded in engineering.
Charlotte tapped her combadge to take the communication. But the badge fell in her lap. Charlotte lowered her head and stared the metallic thing with surprise.
“And I'm sure Commander Reynolds and cadet Richards wouldn't mind the use of their sensors either." Commander Hope continued.
She took the badge in her hand still staring at it, wondering. Her voice finally get out, disturbed.
“Cadet Boissey here madam. Commander Smith had an emergency outside the engineering. He got someone working on impulse engines to give you more power. I’m trying to get an answer on what is going on. But antimatter containment and all systems are under power fluctuations, warp core is unavailable for now.”
“Keep working cadet, as fast as possible. Hope out.”
With Commander Hope response the communication was over. Charlotte was left to her wonders. The badge was still in her hand but she wasn’t looking at it anymore. Her thoughts were going on tiptoes…. The ship antimatter containments, like every antimatter containments, and like the warp core itself had their own power system to support the containment field even if the engines were down. If something was going wrong with the ship’s power system, it wouldn’t have to affect these containments. It had to be something that could affect both then it was not related to the power grid. Maybe the simulation she had been running at first could help her figuring out what it was.
She tried to get her combadge back on her chest. She failed at first but the second try was the good one and the piece of metal finally held in place. Charlotte turned her eyes back to the screen. It had got back to normal, no more crackles. Something was playing with her thoughts but she couldn’t pinpoint it yet.
She reached the simulation programme. It was after all programmed to check what could affect a warp core. A list of the core reactions appeared, each was a consequence of an attack or a physical alteration. Charlotte read the list with interest, hoping that could help and she wasn’t just loosing precious time. A line drew her attention. EM radiation – containment field fluctuating – warp core could be compromised Yes that was a thing that was not specific to the tetryon simulation. Charlotte could remember her basic engineering lessons and much more her physics lessons. Electromagnetism was interfering with energy particles. It could have altered the plasma charges. And sensors were extremly sensible to strong EM fields.
Suddenly she lifted her hand to her combadge. Then she turned to the engineer who had read out the airlock report. Those three things were concordant. That was enough for the moment.
Charlotte tapped her combadge again.
“Boissey to the bridge.” “Go ahead cadet.” Commander Hope answered. “Commander I think I could have a clue about the phenomenon. I’ve got some hints that this could be the result of an EM disturbance. I’m going to check it the way I can. At least we’ve a direction to look in.”
She was speaking loud enough to be heard above the alarm noises. Some engineers looked at her as they heard what she was telling.

OOC: Cadet, you are on the Hanson, manning the Tactical station to make sure nothing bad happens to the away team, and also checking to see if any other ships enter the area, and yes that is a big hint that something could happen if you so write it - Drew ic: S'reena listened with increasing worry to Boissey's report. "Shut down the warpcore," she instructed, "at least until the problem is solved." She looked around at Reynolds. "Commander, please keep this seat warm for me, there's something I need to attend to." She got up from the seat and patted it while motioning for the COO to step down from his console. Once Reynolds approached, she walked away and called up a turbolift. "Brig," she ordered and felt the car pick up speed. She exited the car and walked into the holding cell area, motioning the two guards on duty aside. With one fluid motion, she disabled the forcefield. "Come with me," she told Isis, who looked up in sheer surprise, "we're going back to the bridge and finish what we were doing. Though I do expect an explanation from you." <Isis>

Location: Merchant Vessel
Cadet Henchard exited the shuttle and entered the merchant ship's docking bay. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary. All was quiet, and nothing seemed out of place. None of the vessel's crew members were in sight.
The cadet scanned the air with his tricorder. "I'm detecting low levels of radon in the air. Almost nonexistent, but I still wouldn't recommend breathing this stuff in until we clear the area of it. It's not lethal, at least not for several hours, but you never know what kind of situation we'll find ourselves in."
The others didn't seem to paying attention to Henchard's remarks. They seemed more preoccupied with the open commlink to the Hanson. The cadet could see that the other members of the away team were quite agitated.
Strangely enough, this docking bay contained no other shuttlecraft. Most merchant vessels would need a shuttle or two to conduct proper trades. Henchard noted this as proof that at least part of the merchant vessel's crew had evacuated.
"Has anyone found out what this ship's name is?" asked Cadet Henchard to the rest of the crew.
<tag anyone else in away team> (Let's get this mission on a roll! As a cadet, I don't feel that I should be wandering off on my own, so maybe we should split into teams?)

Max lay there Breathing. the forcefield had flickered on, not at his touch- he had missed the pad- but when his reach had knocked the pad into a wire jutting out from the wall. He slowly came back to consciousness, and as he did...
"Wha?" A compressed EM wave had ripped through there. that wasn't natural. A shockwave could change the frequency, but only a pulsar could come close to that level, and then only at a close distance.
"mhach..." He trailed off. His voice wasn't in very good condition after being exposed to vacuum. he tried again. "Smith to Bridge. Compressed EM wave.... Not natural." he breathed hard. "Deck breach on 15" he paused, his voice still hurting. "My location"

Stepping out of the shuttle’s airlock, Drew was surprised to find no obvious signs of danger around them. The lights on the deck were flickering on and off, a clear indication that the ship was experiencing power problems, but that seemed so far to be the extent of the problems.
“Look’s like we will be needing our flash lights,” Drew called out, activating the small device on his arm band, “I want us to split into two teams, “Commander Brelev, take Major Methos and Cadet Cain down to the lower levels of the ship, Dr. Kalen, you and Cadets Katan and Henchard, are with me, we are going to the upper levels. Crystal stay with the shuttle, there could be a hostile force here so be prepared to get us out in a hurry.”
There were multiple versions of “aye sir” from the gathered crewmembers, as they all started to make there way towards the only exit from the room they were in.
“And remember, no one take any chances,” Drew called out, as the Away Team split into two.
“This place looks deserted,” Kalen commented, as they walked slowly down the corridor, “my tricorder is working only on minimal power; it won’t scan far enough to detect life signs.”
“If something like this happened on the Hanson, we would all gather in one place,” Drew replied, using his flash light to guide the way, “I can’t see any signs of a struggle, so maybe whatever happened was natural.”
Finally they reached what appeared to be a turbolift of some kinds, but when Drew tried to enter the doors wouldn’t open. The doors wouldn’t respond to repeated pushes of the control pad either.
“I guess we need to find this ship’s version of the Jefferies tube,” Drew said, disappointment in his voice, he really didn’t fancy crawling about in an EVA suit.
“Anyone got any ideas where we might find an entry point?” Drew called out, as he started to look round for any tell tell signs.
OOC:
Not much I know, but I want to give everyone a chance to explore things, especially our Cadets, this is after all their first away mission. I don’t mind what we find on the ship, if we do encounter hostile forces, then they do need to be a Ferengi salvage team, but that is about the only certainty, apart of course from the discovery at some point that an anomaly is causing this. We may also find injured crewmembers, or one of us could become injured, please feel free to do this however you want.

As soon as she stepped off the shuttle Brelev could tell the vessel was not a battle cruiser. The corridors where linned with decorative furnishings from across the sector, the away team passed two full cargo holds and a set of richly ordaned quarters. Brelev found it difficult to ignore the "visual clutter" and focus on her tricorder. She was reading faint lifesigns, but so much interferance made it impossible for her to determine where they where from. her cadet was doing a good job, noticing the radiation and insuring the rest of the team was well aware of it. So when Admiral Drew split them up, she was slightly less nervouse then she might have been in the past.
"Major, Cadet." Brelev adressed her team. "I suspect the lower levels will house engineering among other areas. This is a likely gathering place, but the large cargo holds in a vacinity also attract trouble, I don't want to split my attention between scavangers and injured so Major as always keep watch. Cadet, perhaps as we walk you can see about getting through the interferance."
<Tag Methos and Cain>
Brelev led the way towards the nearest turbolift, it was broken, she had a feeling that the Admiral's team would encounter the same problem. "Luckily for us, going down is much easier then climbing up. Cadet, Major, help me find a Jeffries tube."
As they searched around Brelev found something else that intrested her. A computer panel that seemed to display the Ferengi stock exchange, but more importantly the body that lay underneath it. Dressed in a rather expensive outfit Brelev suspected that this was one of the head merchants, it also happened to be a Ferengi with very large lobes. Of course it could also be a scavanger killed for booty he could not exactly answer her questions. His death seemed to be caued by a heavy blow to the head, however he had also been shot by a phaser on stun.

SCENE: Merchant Shuttlebay
After Brelev had given them instructions, Methos began looking for the Jefferies Tube that most Starfleet vessals had. As he got closer to the door, his tricorder began beeping. he looked at it and noticed that there was something in the 'air'. He wasn't sure what is was, but his tricorder said it was poisonous to humanoids.
"Commander, I think I know what killed the Ferengi. There is a poison gas in the air," he said.
<Brelev>
When she commented, Methos head back to the door. He found the Jefferies Tube entrance and opened it.
"Commander, the Jefferies Tube is open and we should be able to get through," he stated.
OOC: Sorry about my inactivity. I was at camp for a week and then had computer problems. I will also be gone from Sunday to Sat.

Location: Merchant Vessel/Corridor
Cadet Henchard scanned his surroundings for this ship's version of a Jeffrie's Tube. He knelt to examine a metal hatch, but upon opening it, he found that it was simply an access panel for the area's automated sytems.
"Found it!" came Cadet Katan's exclamation. Henchards eyes moved towards Katan, who had already unfastened the hatch. As the hatch opened, a limp body tumbled out.
This was his chance. Cadet Henchard rushed forward, his medical tricorder drawn. He ran the tricorder over the body, apparently an elderly Vulcan man in traditional outfit, but was dismayed when the tricorder failed to function.
Uttering a small curse under his breath, Cadet Henchard put away his tricorder and felt the Vulcan for a pulse.
"Admiral, this Vulcan is alive but in a state of coma. He's suffering from prolonged exposure to toxic elements. We need to get him back to the Hanson!"
Admiral Drew shook his head. "Negative, Cadet. The Hanson is experiencing problems of its own right now. You'll have to treat this man on the spot. I remind you that this man may be our only link to what happened here, so it's quintessential that you don't let him die."
"Aye sir," Henchard replied. "In that case, I'd like to take him back to the shuttle, where I can establish a clean environment to treat him."
Although the cadet didn't know why, the admiral grinned when he said "Make it so."
As Cadet Henchard carried the Vulcan back toward the shuttle bay, he shouted back to the rest of his team, "And remember, Admiral, take it easy on that shoulder!"
<Tag anyone else on away team>
(OOC I'm going to try to save this Vulcan. I'd really like to, seeing as how it's my first serious case, but seeing how I'm equipped with only field equipment, that might not happen. At least I can try to contact Brelev if I really need help (and hope that my communicator works!). Plus, it would be a nice bonus to find out exactly what happened.)

Isis looked around carefully, making sure no-one was listening in.
"Well, the last time someone said that I had done something wrong with the sensors was when I was 15. I was living on-board my 120-year-old grandfather's vulcan freighter. He was ill. I was just trying to help around when the CO pushed me aside just as, no offense mean, a bloody great D'iredex warbird uncloaked and disabled us with one shot. The CO of course blamed me for signalling them, because (I didn't know this at the time) my vulcan mother and I were held on Romulus, in a prison camp, accused of being spies. I was only 3 at the time when we escaped. Whilst there we were both subjected to testing. I still have the scars on my arms and back. They can't be removed without killing me because of the implants below them."
Isis saw the look on the Commanders face. " don't worry they have been deactivated!" Reasured Isis seeing that S'reena knew what she was talking about.
"Anyway. The attack. They boarded us and we evacuated. I was in an escape pod when my mother was shot from behind by the Romulan captain. A device in her foot was a tracking beacon. It was the prison warden who, it turns out, let us escape as part of the testing. She was taken to Romulus and publicly executed as a traitor. They saw her not as a vulcan, but as a romulan, which would be the opposite for you when you joined starfleet. An Excelcior class starship picked us up, and i discovered my father (andorian) was the captain. 3 weeks before I came to the starbase, he told me all of this and the CO of the freighter (human) apologised and said to me the logs had been looked over by starfleet command and they are now sending my techniques to all the starbases so we can get past the cloak. If I hadn't been pushed away for a minute longer I would have found the warbird and we would have escaped and 157 people needn't have died. So you can see why I hit you."
The Commander looked shocked and asked "How long ago was that?"
"About 30 years."
(OOC: I had to put the question like that so I could understand it myself)

S'reena stopped walking and just stared at the cadet. Regarding her more closely she found that she could not take an honest guess about her age. If the incident had been 30 years ago, then how old was she? Having an Andorian father and a Vulcan mother certainly made an interesting mix; S'reena had never heard of such a particular mix.
Sure enough the cadet seemed to have pointed ears as well as antennae. "Thirty years?" S'reena echoed, "yes I can understand you holding a grudge against Romulans but I tell you my youth was not easy either."
She gazed at the science cadet. "My parents are both full blooded Romulans, but they fled the empire when my brother was a mere infant. I was born on Earth, on the Australian continent but since as early as I can remember I was taunted for being who I am. People despised me without making the effort to get to know me."
The Romulan first officer paused again. "Now, why don't we get back to the bridge and see what we can do about fixing our sensors? I won't have this incident put into your record, just don't do it again hm? I will not be so lenient a next time."

Charlotte talked to several engineers to try to find a way to counter the EM radiation effects at the immediate moment. The warp core was set to minimal functions. They were under red alert but not under attack. They agreed that lowering down the power a little could help stabilised. The engineers went back to word and Charlotte was left to try to sort out the real problem. She tapped her combadge. “Boissey to Commander Max Smith. Sir, we think we’ve found the source of the problem. There is a massive electromagnetic disturbance. We’ve got to find a way to shield ourselves or to neutralise the EM field back to normal. Any idea how to depolarize the ship, or at least the hull ?” She could hear that the Commander breathing was heavy. “Sir, are you alright ?” Ooc : A quick post in the middle of revisions rush. "Mr. Richards, have you found anything?" Jason asked.
Max observed his around. He watched consoles. He approached one of them and observed the back part. Soon he manipulated the circuits of the console and finally he smiled. Max remembered since he had been trained in the school in his native home, and then he thought the right words and said:
"Here is something strange commander. Somebody manipulated the controls ." he said, without turning his glance of the circuits.
"Manipulated?"
"Yes, commander. I will explain you, a network of quadritonic optical subprocessors is distributed throughout the ship's sections. All know that. Well, manipulating the circuits, a subprocessor can be isolated of the main computer, causing that this one independently works of main to computer. What I mean is that somebody manipulated these controls for personal use. Thus, the computer would not have registries of its use, but it seems that the systems detected it..."
There was a silence in the room. Then Max said:
"What I want to try to say is that somebody sabotaged the controls."
"Sabotage!?" said the commander surprised. "That is impossible!"
Max back to the circuit console and manipulate him again. He change two board controls and he said "Ready"
Max continues speaking "I am not so sure that is sabotage, I only say that somebody manipulated the controls. I fixed the problem. The systems are now full operational, Commmander."
At that one same moment:
=A= Commander Reynolds, this is bridge... =A= =A= Yes? =A= =A= The sensors are now functional =A=
<Tag Reynolds>
OOC: Sorry by the delay, I'm back. About sabotage: it was first that I thought. This he is my first post without using the translator, hehe. ;D

Jason couldn't believe what his cadet was saying to him, but the proof was right there in front of his eyes. The most pressing problem was that someone must of done this after the Hanson left dock because crews went over all systems before leaving.
"Lt. I need you to run multiple scans on your systems and then send me the results," Jason ordered," we will be on the bridge."
Once they reached the bridge, Jason was suprised to see Cadet Isis back on the bridge. He was about to say something, but S'reena stopped him. He then noticed they were also working on the sensors.
"I thought we already fixed the sensor problem?" Jason asked.
"No, commander it seems that we only fixed a part of our problem," Commander S'reena responded.
"Well lets get working," Jason said as he joined his cadet at the Operations station and scanned the ship deck by deck hoping to find the root of there problem.

Bridge , Tactical Console.
While trying to concentrate on internal security and listen to the bridge chatter about the strange events unfolding , Damon Taylor was also trying to keep a close eye on the away team.
The Shields on the Hanson , and her shuttles were all working fine. However they hadn't tested the weapon systems since they last left the space station and Taylor would have liked to check the feedback himself.
Just then there was a beep from the console , but before he could check what it was it stopped. He looked down and it started again . then stopped again.
The signal was showing a ship , somewhere about 20 kilometers above the bridge of the Hanson. He focused a scan on it but couldn't get a lock.
It appeared to be a vessel about half the size of the Hanson and of unknown makeup. It definitely had some form of warp engines but beyond that the computer couldn't identify anything.
"commander , I'm not sure but there may be a ship nearby , the computer is having trouble locking on to it"

"Yes ma'am!" Isis answered
Isis walked on to the bridge and noticed one of the other cadets find something above the ship. Her curious nature took the better of her, so she rushed over to see the sensor data.
"No! This can't be!" She exlaimed. "Commander! Your father didn't say he was working on anything whilst still in the empire?"
"I don't think so." S'reena answered. "Why?"
Isis looked around.
"Can we have a visual?"
(OOC: assuming very like the Voyager) The officer at Operations looked at the commander who just nodded.
"There is you visual!" she said.
"Oh no!" exclaimed Isis.
(OOC: lets see what you make of that!!!!) (2nd OOC: hint on what it is-->armada's shadow)

She could hear that the Commander breathing was heavy.
“Sir, are you alright ?”
"fine now." Max relayed over the intercom. "but that EM blast was not natural. I'd come up to engineering to help you if I could, but transporters down, an explosion and a hull breach down here that I was lucky to survive. I missed the explosion but the lift opened in time for me to get caught up in the breach."
"How are you alive?" Charlotte asked.
"I had a personal shield for working on antimatter. Standard operating procedure. Anyway, the hull should automatically shed polarity. If it doesn't do it fast enough, there are some hull polarizers for last ditch shielding."
Charlotte paused. "Umm... What good will those do us?"
"They might have the opposite charge ten the current hull charge. you can check..." he coughed. "and if not, they can be turned to a negative value as a normal procedure. That'll get most of it." Max paused. "One more thing, and if you fail this one I'm flunking you." He paused again. "get me out of here."

"Commander! Your father didn't say he was working on anything whilst still in the empire?"
S'reena glanced sideways at her cadet, wondering what she was trying to suggest. "That was well over forty years ago cadet," S'reena answered, "if he was working on anything I doubt he'd remember today, but I can certainly contact him and ask him. Any information would help. All I remember him telling my brother and me was that they had barely any time to pack anythng. My mother picked up my brother and then my father ushered them into a shuttle and they left Romulan space. That was well before I was born at that. T'Rell might remember something, even though he was only a scant two years old when they left."
The Romulan realised she was starting to babble and focused on the visual that was now appearing on screen. "Oh no!" exclaimed Isis beside her and S'reena echoed that sentiment.
"A Shadow-class vessel," she murmured. "Taylor and Daya see what intel have we got on this type of vessel. I doubt they're up to any good."
She turned to look over her shoulder. "Reynolds and Richards, see if you can hail the away team. If this vessel is as dangerous as I think it is, I think Admiral Drew should be warned."
S'reena shook her head in dismay. "I shouldn't have let him go off and have his 'fun' as he called it. Romulans are always after flag officers, and this wouldn't be the first time they'd abduct a flag admiral!"
She continued to gaze at the screen, while patting Isis on her shoulder. "Well done cadet, keep tracking them. Warn me if they move so much as a millimeter. For now, let's play ignorant. We don't want them to know that we know that they are out there....yet."

"The fact that we know that they are there is an accident." said Isis. "They have thier phase cloak on, but its on a certain setting, hence why we can see them. But! they dont know that because of the setting and they think that we think it does not exist...... What?"
The bridge crew was looking at her with suspision.
"I just know it for some reason!"
The crew were carrying on with their tasks when suddenly the operations officer shouted, "Sirs they are sending out a message on a previously unknown subspace channel!"
The commander(s) looked around to see what the officer was talking about when Isis fell to the ground yelling and scratching at her back.
"Oh gods, not now!" she screamed "get me to a holodeck so that I can't see any data about this!"
S'reena was surprised at the sudden change but held her sense of calm.
"Send us both to holodeck one!" she commanded.
When they arrived she said, hoping that she would never say this again, "Computer, run "Queen-Isis-Alien-Queen-One!"

Drew watched Michael hurry down the corridor, supporting the injured Vulcan. Although he didn’t like the crew separating, he had to admit the Cadet was right, they had to know what had happened, and the shuttlebay was on this deck anyway. Finally finding an entrance hatch, Drew led Kalen and Katan through, using his torch to gather his surroundings. As he had expected, the Jeffery tube was rather cramped with the three officers all in EVA suits, but then, that couldn’t be helped. “Here’s a ladder,” Drew said through his comm channel, “we should be able to reach the bridge this way.” Wishing he was just in his standard uniform, Drew started the difficult climb upwards. He wasn’t sure just how many decks this ship had, or even what deck they were on. At the moment, he could only hope it wasn’t too far to go. About half hour later, Drew and his team finally reached what appeared to be the command level for this ship. Pushing open the hatch, Drew shone his light around the deck as he stepped out onto the metal plating. Like most Alpha Quadrant ships, the bridge was circular in design, with risen chairs in the centre, and various stations positioned around it. Unusually there were three viewscreens, one at fore, one on the port side, and one on the starboard wall. At the moment, all three screens appeared to be offline, and were merely flickering in various colours. As with the rest of the ship, the lighting on this deck was poor, although the various blinking lights on the consoles provided increase lighting. “Let’s see if we can’t access the ship records,” Drew said to his two team mates, “sensor logs might be able to tell us what happened.” As Kalen and Katan both moved off to different stations on the bridge, Drew walked on towards what he presumed was the command chair. In the poor lighting, he could see a shape that appeared to be crumpled over the chair, and he had a terrible feeling he knew what it might be. Shining his torch around the chair, he was saddened to see a body. It was a Bajoran male, wearing a fine garment similar to those worn by the other crewmembers they had encountered. A quick scan of Drew’s tricorder confirmed that the man was dead. Drew looked across to the other stations, where he saw yet more bodies all of different species. “All the crew seemed to have remained at their posts,” Drew said to the Katan and Kalen, “perhaps this was an accident of somekind.” =/\= “Hanson to Away Team” =/\=, came Jason Reynolds voice unexpectedly over the comm channel. “Go ahead Jason,” Drew replied. =/\= “Admiral, a Romulan ship is approaching” =/\=, Jason reported. Drew exchanged worried glances with Katan and Kalen, as all three moved there hands to the phaser attached to their belts. “What’s their status?” Drew asked, a hundred different scenarios running through his mind. However, instead of the expected reply from Jason, there came only silence. “They must be blocking communication,” Drew cursed, “Drew to Brelev, do you copy?” =/\= “Loud and clear Admiral” =/\=, Brelev replied, =/\= “We heard what Reynolds said as well” =/\=. “We need to regroup,” Drew continued, “Kalen and Katan have already downloaded what they can from the ship records, let’s meet back in the shuttle.” =/\= “Understood” =/\=, Brelev replied. “And be careful Commander,” Drew cautioned as he closed the channel. “Right, gather everything you can, we need to get out of here,” Drew said to Kalan and Katen, “and Cadet, make sure to keep an eye on those tactical scanners of yours.” OOC: OK, everyone on the away team should start to make their way back to the shuttle. We may encounter boarding parties from the other ship along the way. I know transporters are online, but Drew might not know that To the Cadets still on the Hanson itself, excellent work so far, keep it up!

"Well lets get working"
Max came near to ops console, he seated and he began to operate it. He thought about making a complete diagnostic, but that would take a few hours, reason why he decided to recover the vital parts of ship.
"Commander, make a complete diagnostic of the systems would be loss of long time, and time is what less we have now." said Max.
"Yes, I agree cadet. Then what you would recommend to do?" asked.
The Commander Reynolds was a very noble person. Throughout the course of the training, the Commander had left Max made the decisions. That on the one hand was good, but Max sometimes felt pressed.
"Well Commander. What I would do is to recover the vital systems of ship, distributing the energy, we could have greater control and a good defense against a possible encounter."
There was a silence among them. Perhaps Max knew that that was an option, but was not within the plans of the Commander. After all, he was a single cadet who was being trained.

OOC: I will be on LOA this weekend but I will be update with the mission.

The bridge was exchanged by the holodeck and S'reena had only barely given Reynolds command of the bridge before the site-to-site transport beam claimed them. She watched with interest and worry when Isis activated her program and she wasn't quite sure whether what she was seeing was actual, or just a figment of the young woman's imagination.
"What am I looking at Isis?" she asked, gripping the woman firmly by her shoulders, forcing her to look up at her. "Isis look at me!" she ordered, "what is this, where are we?"
The Romulan tapped her combadge. "Computer, activate EMH and transfer his program to sickbay!"
Seconds later, the EMH appeared looking far from pleased. "Monitor her," S'reena ordered, pointing at Isis, "something is happening to her and it's worrying me. A strange ship class appeared on sensors and suddenly she collapsed in hysteria and wanted to be beamed to the holodeck."
The EMH nodded, for once without protest, of which S'reena was glad. "Isis," S'reena repeated, calling the cadet's attention to her, "explain to me why we are here?"
<Isis....remember the PM I sent you>

“And be careful Commander,” Drew cautioned as he closed the channel.
=A=When am I not careful Admiral?=A= Brelev replied. "Cadet, Major, you heard the man." Brelev had to admit she was eager to get off the ship and out of the EV suite, especially now that she heard about the Romulans. She led the way with Major Methos keeping an eye out for pointy eared boarding parties. It seemed like the trip back to the shuttle took longer then expected.
"Commander, did you see that?" Cadet Cain asked, Brelev shook her head, she wasn't sure what he meant.

A flash of light was immediatly followed by a blast on the wall next to Brelev. she threw herself back behind the corner "Romulans!" she exclaimed, although she was not certain if this was true. 'Major, this is not my area of expertise."

(O.O.C I'm going on an LOA till monday, feel free to write in a bit for Brelev to keep things moving if you have to)

"This program is meant to be one that I was tested in on Romulus. Part of the testing was the downloading into my memory of certain holodeck programs. The memories included the entire code for this program. The program is safe to use in everyday holodecks, but, the content proves overwhelming for non-romulans, non-vulcans and non-andorians due to settings used by the holo generators. The program helps me think, but whilst under the control of the implants I cannot "see" it in the conventional sense, because the optical ones cut the link from my eyes to my brain, so I am blind for the moment. The program is designed to test the ability of the person in it. As there are two of us the captain will assume that I was showing you the program when the implants were activated and the Doctor here will be seen as an addition to the program by me. The people on that ship would not have come off that ship for over 30 years and have been keeping silent since they left Romulus. They will have no knowledge of the Borg, the Dominion, even the existance of the Reman's warbird class. The program itself is based on when there was an uprising by the Remans about 300 years ago. The place we are in is the main capitol of the Reman people of the time."
S'reena looked shocked at this responce and wondered where her father fitted in with all this but decided to keep the question until later.
"What else do the implants do?" she asked.
"I can interface with the shadow by being able to hear and see what is happening on board...... What?"
Isis heard the commander gasp in shock.
"Your eyes are changing colours!" screamed S'reena.
"Ah. the interface is nearly compleate...... What on earth? Ma'am they are talking about the rites of acquisition!"
