~stationed security?~ S'reena wondered, as she inched her way over to her seat on the bridge. She was nauseous and the bridge was spinning around her so she briefly closed her eyes. "Well done cadet," she finally sighed, "and yes you should go with Drew."
Now, she gave him a weak smile, as she reopened her eyes to look at him. She didn't miss the young man's concern, but she waved him off. "I'm fine cadet, or at least I will be. Yes, go with Drew, and look out for him. Admiral Drew's a trouble magnet, if anything else. Make sure he doesn't see you, or you'll be in for it, but make sure any other securty people in the away team do know you're there, and there only to look out for the admiral."

Daya stepped onto the bridge just as Commander Hope was talking to runningwolf, Daya was about to go over to the station, but decided it would be best if he kept an eye out for the commander. "Cadet, come over here" Daya kneeled down and lifted his pant leg up, revlealing a klingon knife. "I want you to take this with you, you might need it more than me. It a d'k tahg, take care of it"

" Thank you sir I will make sure you get it back I dont think these things are easy to come by" Wolf accepted the knife " Sir I'm going to go get changed and get a few extra items to take with me I will aslo take a transponder to stick on the admiral for beam out if things should go bad. I have to admit I dont realy like how things are going a star base comes out of no where offering shore leave. While he waited in his ready room for Cadet Kane to arrive, Drew called up the latest reports that had been submitted to him from Engineering. The device had been safely removed from the ship, although they were still at a lost to explain it’s function, that was going to be something that would keep Commander Smith and his team busy for a while longer yet.
Taking a cup of tea from the nearby replicator, Drew leaned back in his chair, and looked out of the star port, the large window that ran towards the side of his office now showed the large Starbase, where his ship would soon be docking. Although it was risky taking the ship to an unknown installation such as this, Drew felt it was worth the risk, if it might help them understand what was happening here. With any luck, they might even be able to help the Hanson rid itself of whatever was attached to its hull.
Drew’s thoughts were distracted by the sound of his door chim, he quickly straightened himself, and putting down his beverage, called for the visitor to enter.
The doors parted to reveal Cadet Kane, who was looking very anxious, whatever he had to say, it was clearly important.
“Please take a seat Cadet,” Drew said, pointing to one of the two chairs opposite his desk.
“Thank you Admiral,” Kane replied, taking the offered seat.
“So tell Cadet,” Drew began, “what did our friend have to say?”
Kane explained quickly what the prisoner named Tisue Scotch had told him, about the current civil war, and the opposing sides, the High Solar and Presort Standard. How the High Solar wished to expand and make contact with more wishes, while the Presort Standard wished to remain isolated from the universe.
“Well that at least explains the Starbase,” Drew said, casting one look back over at the station, “the question is, which side should we trust?”
This time, Cadet Kane was unable to answer; instead, he too cast a look at the station, then looked back at the Admiral.
“I think we should visit the base,” Drew said finally, “I have already agreed to allow some of the crew to explore it, once we have docked, I will have to go visit this ‘Adrin Porew,’ the prime directive may very well apply to this situation.”
Drew rose from his seat, signalling that the meeting was now over, but just before Kane could leave, Drew had one more question.
“It may be useful if the child could visit the Starbase with us, do you believe she is up to that?”
OOC: Myself and Cadet Kane will now be going to the Starbase, anyone wishing to also go, please feel free to post us docking/leaving the ship. Cadet Runningwolf, make sure you do a good job keeping out of Drew’s sight, he knows S’reena’s tricks lol.

"Yes Sir, I think it would be good for her to come along. She may not think so at first, but I'm sure I can convince her to go. If there is nothing else Sir, I'll go get her now and meet you at the docking port." Matti said with confidence.
tag drew
As he left the bridge, Matti got a strong feeling from the group of people there. He wasn't sure if it was distrust or worry, or possably a mixture of the two.
<I hope they don't decide to do something tragic while we are there.>
After a quick talking with Veranda, Matti led her to the docking port and waited for the Admiral. It didn't take long for the rest of the crew going aboard to show up, the Admiral with them.
A small smile showed up on the Admiral's face when he walked into the room. It was so small and quick that Matti wasn't sure if he really saw it or not.
As the group disembarked and walked through the door to the station, Matti and Veranda stood a little off to the side while the Admiral was greeted by Adrin Porew. Adrin then said loudly enough so everyone could hear him, "Welcome to Star Base Onyx. We hope you enjoy your selves as he try to show our hospitality to our hopeful neew friends. Please walk around and see for yourselves what we have to offer."
He then turned back to the Admiral and quietly said something. By the reaction made by the Admiral it seemed to Matti that he was invited to a tour. It was confirmed when the Admiral turned and said, "Cadet, would you and our friend care to join us for a tour of the base?"
There was a look of great joy on the Administrators face when Matti replied, "Yes Sir."
The tour started off as any would by Matti's standard, slow and boring with talk about what could be offered by both sides, and what was needed by both sides. This ship here and that shop there. This console and that panel. Matti soon lost interest and started to look around to see if there was any suspicious people following them. There was of course curious people who wanted to see the people from the ship. There were children and families that lived on the base. It seemed just like any star base Matti had ever been on.
Veranda pulled on Matti's sleave and when he look down said, "How come they are staring at us? We look just like them except most of them have big noses."
Matti replied, "I know. They just want to know who we are and if we look friendly and if they should really want to be our friends. It must seem scary to see so many strange people at the same time. The want to be reasured that we won't hurt them."
"Oh, ok. I just wish they would stop staring." Veranda said.

Aerial was both thrilled and terrified by the landing made by Cadet Arika. When they walked off she could feel her self shaking a little from the adrenaline rush. She was also wearing a smile she had a hard time wiping from her face when she saw a superior.
She walked briskly to the bridge, hoping that Commander Hope and Lieutenant Daya were both OK. She believed they had made it back in enough time for sickbay to be able to repair the damages to their bodies. The science station was simple enough to locate, but now on the bridge, Aerial felt nervousness creeping up upon her again. The adrenaline still had control mostly, and with the added excitement of the impressive station before her. Some info was being fed into the computer on a creature with acidic qualities. The info was enthralling to the cadet; she had a slight taste for chemistry along with a love of zoology. So this creature seized her full attention. The order to study this incoming information sounded exciting.
After Aerial had studied the material before her, Commander Hope bumped into her, looking rather gaunt. She demanded a report from Aerial who looked baffled for a moment; she was lost in the confusion of being taken from her task. Aerial looked back down and tried to organize her thoughts to tell the Commander.
“Actually, it is a group of creatures. The creatures resemble jellyfish of earth. Except that the mesoglea, the jelly-like part, is made up oxalic acid, which isn’t horribly destructive, unless it can get to human kidneys. They began as a few small organisms probably just floating near the sensors. However, the sensor rays emitted have caused them to over produce the acid, and in a greater concentration. They also seem to like the rays of the sensor so they attached themselves to it as a colony, but appear to function as one organism. Oxalic acid at that amount and concentration can be very corrosive.”
"I see," S'reena replied, "and how do you intend on continuing? I mean, this creature has to come off, what are your plans?"
“Well, they are mostly acidic, so if we used an equally strong base to at least partially neutralize the acid to just bring down the concentration, it may make them more receptive to harvesting… or it may just kill them.”
<tag Hope>
OOC: GREAT SCOTT, that was long. Sorry if you are a chemistry major and my sorry chem Skills have offended you deeply.

Brelev had Nurse Mitchel weel her over towards cadet Fraugg and Commander Hope.
Nice to see you back on board cadet. Cadet Jolim is currently undisposed and unless her situation drastically improves will not be joining us for this mission. Since you have already proven yourself down at the surface, and neither myself nor Commander Hope is in any condition to work I'd like to ask you to man the science consol, and lead the science team for the remainder of the mission. Of course any direct orders from myself or the commander will overrule yours, and Commander Hope still technically runs the team. Brelev typed and handed the PaDD over t cadet Fraugg. She was asking a great deal of the young women, but was certain she could handle it. From the looks of things she had already managed to get a start on the acidic creature issue.
<Tag Fraugg>
Brelev looked up at S'reena and noticed two things. One the commander was holding onto the railing, attempting to look casual but obviosly depending on it for support and Two, she was quite pale. Commander, You do not look too well. Since I don't recall allowing you to leave sickbay and I highly doubt your husband would wish you to futher injure yourself I think you should take a moment to listen to me. Neither of us it in any condition to enjoy shoreleave, everything on the ship is running smoothly and your cadet has everything under control. How about both of us go back to Sickbay and visit with your husband for awhile?

ic: S'reena nodded absentmindedly at frauggs report, not even hearing half of it as she was too concerned with remaining upright.
then brelev walked up to her, suggesting mildly but strongly that they both return to sickbay. s'reena just gaped at the woman, wondering what to respond. she knew brelev was right, but sickbay was the last place she wanted to be.
looking back at fraugg, she saw the young woman sitting confidently at the science station and she now knew science was in good hands. she nodded at brelev. "very well, but do please remember sickbay makes me feel uneasy, i would much rather stay here and just quietly sit in this chair for a while."\\

Crystal hears the order of shore leave and frowns. She supposes everyone can certainly use the relaxation, but she isn't used to leaving what she views as a problem. She guesses that might just be a result of her being used to working on her own or with her former fiancé, so if they wanted to get anything done they had to work on it constantly.
Crystal shrugs though, she doesn't see any reason not to go over to the Starbase. Of course, none of this matters if the ship doesn't dock. Crystal glances at Arika's hands, working on piloting the ship in, and notices his careful adherence to the regulations the station had given. He finishes, and she nods approvingly. “Nicely done,” she remarks.
Crystal notices that Tagert leaves to prepare to visit the base, but Arika doesn't leave as quickly. “Are you planning to visit the Outpost?” she asks. “The ship probably won't need piloting for as long as we stay. And the advantage of being helm is that the Hanson will find it harder than normal to leave without us aboard,” she jokes.

Jason didn't like the idea of Admiral Drew going to the outpost unaccompanied by a security detail. The Admiral was a Flag officer and regulations called for it, but he had insisted against it. Jason realized that he knew best and let it stand. At least he wouldn't have to be in charge. Commander Hope had recovered from her injuries and was now back on duty. She was reading some of the cadets reports, but didn't seem to mind them much. "Commander Hope is there anything that you want done while we wait for Admiral Drew," Jason asked done with some minor repairs that he had finally finished. S'reena motioned for Brelev to please wait for her, while she turned to face Reynolds. "Keep an eye out for everyone on the station," she ordered, "if there is so much as the slightest hint on trouble occurring, you are to order everyone beamed out, regardless of any protest on their end. Capice?"
She shuffled up to Brelev, who offered a supportive arm which she took gratefully. "If anything happens, we'll be in sickbay. You've got the conn mr Reynolds. Ms Fraugg, keep me updated on your findings please." She turned to Brelev. "Let's go."OOC: I know its short, but I got very little to do right now. Now if any cadets want me to help them (or just bug them ) give me a shout. occ from the FO: just added a few liner into your post jason...am still waiting for cadets and brelev to respond and I don't want to post a oneliner just like that. ~s'reena~

Wofl: Got the signal from Lt Daya and left the ship 30 sec after the admiral. When wolf stepped out on to the starbase he was alittle shocked it was full of people. Wolf started scanning the area and found the admiral. He signaled the hanson to let them know that he was on the base and he had sight of the admiral, wolf started to follow but making sure to look like he had a purpose cadet Kane was with him and he knew if he wasn't careful Kane would pick up on him. Wolf hung back and watched everything thinking to himself I dont like this at all.

"Cadet, i hope you remembered to tell the others what you are you doing, so they dont interfere somehow." Daya said to Wolf after he was transported to the station.

Daya turned to look at commander hope, who still looked a bit pale, but Daya knew better than to confront her about it, 'i'll just keep an eye out for her' he thought to himself.
Daya felt an inner joy when he saw that Hope was heading to sickbay, and left commander Reynolds in charge.
Daya had not spent much time with Reynolds, but knew of his brother, who was a good officer in his own way. Daya turned back to his station checking the sensors to make sure nothing was wrong

Drew tried to make a good show of paying attention as Adrin Porew explained in huge detail the various functions and layouts of the Starbase. Tours such as these were one of the aspects of command that Drew hated, but he knew that by him doing this, his crew would be able to enjoy some shore leave. He was already pleased to see that some Cadets had found their way to the Starbase, as had a few of the officers, all of them appeared to be having a good time.
“We are particularly fond of our gardening area,” Adrin said proudly, bringing the tour to a halt, “it grows some of the rarest planets this side of the quadrant.”
“How splendid,” Drew replied, looking around the large green habitat, it was filled with planets that he had never seen before, some were even of colours he had never seen. One planet in particular caught his attention, a large golden flower, that resembled in some ways an English rose, Drew reached out to smell the flower, and was shocked when Adrin violently pushed him back, causing him to fall to the floor.
“My apologises Admiral, but that planet is most dangerous,” Adrin explained, as he helped Drew to his feet, the Admiral had to signal to Kane not to react, as the Cadet seemed ready to leap to his Captain’s defence. Drew couldn’t be sure, but he also thought that for a moment he saw another person out of the corner of his eye, getting ready to intervene.
“Think nothing of it Administrator,” Drew said, straightening his uniform, “I should have known better.”
“Perhaps we should move on,” Adrin said, “we still have much to show you.”
“Wonderful,” Drew said, smiling broadly, “so far your station has been most impressive.”
Behind him, Drew could sense Kane’s reluctance to carry on the tour, but they had to give the impression of being good guests. Besides, this also offered them an opportunity to find out more about the current situation in this system.
“So tell me Administrator, why hide this impressive structure inside a nebula?”
“Ah Admiral,” Adrin said, shifting uncomfortably, “these are difficult times for my people, not everyone we have encountered has been as friendly as your ship.”
“I see,” Drew replied, “you know, one of my away teams encountered some people on the planet nearby.”
“A primitive species Admiral, an annoying ineffective offshoot of my own people,” Adrin answered, his words filled with distaste.
Drew and Kane both exchanged glances, the tone of the Administrators voice had changed completely, and he now seemed much more threatening.
“I feel I must apologise again gentlemen,” Adrin said, returning to his calm manner, “sometimes these subjects can get me a little heated, please, let us proceed to the heart of our station, our very own command centre!”
“Lead the way,” Drew said, following the Administrator towards what looked like a turbo lift. As he was walking behind the Administrator, Drew suddenly had the odd feeling that he was again being followed, he quickly looked behind his shoulder but couldn’t see anything. Shaking his head, he joined Kane and the others in the turbolift, he was probably just seeing things in his old age.

Crystal nods, and notices Cadet Arika returning to the bridge. “Welcome back,” she greets him. “Nice flying out there.”
Ian nodded and said, "Thank you."
“I think you should fly the Hanson now, if you're not too tired,” Crystal says, since while Tagert has experience with both the large ship and a shuttle, Arika just piloted a shuttle, all-be-it rather well. Crystal is impressed with both of her cadet's piloting skills, and feels fortunate to have such skilled cadets. She is sure that all cadets are well-trained, but it feels different when she has to trust the ship to them.
“Oh, and the navigational sensors aren't quite working,” Crystal tells him. “There is some evidence they've been tampered with, so I wouldn't trust them completely. In essence, you'll be flying blind.” Crystal smiles slightly, then adds. “Should be fun.”
He looks at her and says, "Shouldn't be too hard," before he sat down at the seat at helm. He had looked over the control panel and thought, "How will I pull through this?" It was something that he kept to himself, but he's always been afraid of being on an Intrepid class ship. He couldn't allow that to interfere with his orders, perhaps someday he'll be on a ship he likes, like the Akira or Sovereign. He had heard the orders from the Rear Admiral.
“Helm, once we get the information, start docking procedures, be sure to respect their rules and regulations, thrusters only, unless they say otherwise.”
Wolf: Stood at his station on the bridge tactical was not his normal station but he was more then qualifyed to man the station. He watched as Cadet Arika took the helm when the Admiral called up and instructed them to dock with the alien station. Wolf couldn't help himself with a little chuckle "Arika try not to scratch the paint okay, hey at least nobody is shooting at us this time"
He didn't need to be told to use thrusters. He begins to move the ship into docking position, slowly and carefully making sure he doesn't hit anything on the sensors, real or fake he couldn't tell. He had monitored the lights on the panel and once he saw the light that said the ship had locked into docking turn on, he looked at Wolf and said, "Not a scratch."
He shrugs and says, "I'm probably just going to go the the holodeck." He stands up and walks away from the helm and walks over to the transporter room.
As the doors of the transporter room slide open, Ian walks through and stands on one of the transporter pads. The transporter starts and the next moment Ian is aboard the outposts lobby. (or the closest thing to one) Ian walks up to one of the aliens onboard and asks where the holodecks are and the alien shows him where it is. Ian walks into the holodeck and closes the door behind him and starts up a program.

Wolf: Nearly blew his cover when he saw the adminstrator shove the admiral to ground. At the same time he saw cadet Kane heading over to help wolf backed off to see what would happen. It appeared that it wasn't no big deal the admiral got brushed himself off and continued on the tour. Wolf hung back to see where they were going trying to becareful he knew the admiral nearly picked up on him. Wolf noticed that Cadet Kane had his tricorder with and took the time to text him a message telling him what he was doing.
" Kane I'am on the station I've change my looks. I have long Green hair and blue skin. Commander S'reena sent me to be back up for you and the admiral. He is not to know I'am here. I'am your fall back incase things go wrong I have hidden a transponder underneath the bench to the right of you. If things go bad slap it on the admiral and get him out at all cost. I will provide back up to you if needed. I say again the admiral is to be protected at all cost and not to be made aware of it. I will keep in sight as much as I can if you need me signal through your tricoder and I will be there. The Admiral must not know that he has bodyguards on the station if he starts to suppect signal with a hand gesture and I will back off try to keep him off track he nearly picked up on me a few mins ago" <Tag Kane>
Wolf: Watch the party walk off and walked up to the plants they were looking at, He did a quick scan of the plants nasty stuff no wonder they didn't want the admiral touching. Wolf made sure nobody was watching and signaled the Hanson " Lt daya I"m sending over some scans of some plants that might or might not be of interst, They are not friendly to humans the just stopped the admiral from touching it, By the way the admiral is sharp nearly picked up on me when the adminstrator stopped him from touching the planet by shoving him down. I'ev also encode and sent a text message on Cadet Kane tricorder he is aware I'm here and will pick up the transponder from where I have it hidden if things go wrong he knows the admiral to be protected and transported out at the first sign of trouble at all cost" <Tag Daya>
Wolf checked the area one more time and head to the turbo lift he had looked at the plans for the station already and had a pretty good idea where the group was heading ops I guess its time to see if the vents are as easy to access has they appear.

As the group entered the 'greenhouse' Matti took out his tricorder and started to inspect the plant life. Almost as soon as they got within touch of any plants, the Admiral reached out to a plant that looked like a rose. The Administrator instantly shoved the Admiral away from the plant. Instantly Matti was the offensive. As the Admiral nodded Matti off, he was helped up by the Administrator.
Looking again at his tricorder, Matti recieved a coded message from Cadet Runningwolf.
It only took a few seconds to read the message. As the group headed out the door Matti bent down and quickly grabed the transponder from under the bench.
<I had a feeling we were being followed. I knew they would have some sort of detail for this job. I just hope it is just a nessasary precaution.>
As they proceded to the turbolift Matti felt that the administrator had something on his mind and that he wasn't sure he could trust us yet to tell us what it was.
"Administrator Adrin, would you explain what those flowers were for and what they were doing out in the open if they are dangerous?" Matti asked as they got on the turbolift.
"We know how they affect my species but we don't know about yours. Better safe than sorry. I appologize for my reaction. Those flowers have a poison that we Klenix are immune to. That poison is what allows us to make what you call an 'antidote for our allergic reations to humans'." The Administrator explained.
As the turbolift stoped Matti couldn't help but to gauk at the size and design of the control room. It seemed to be the size of the entire ship if not bigger. There were multipul dosens of people at different stations and consols. There was a large blue cilinder running down the center of the room. It reminded Matti of the engine room of the ship, only much, much bigger.
"Wow. This place is huge." Matti said to himself.
Adrin heard him and replied, "Welcome to the center of the station. You now stand in the Source room. He we get the power to run the station, any and all comunications, security panels, command and docking panels. We believe that if something affects one of us it affects all of us. With everything in one central area we can guard it more effectively. It seems to have been working so far. No one has ever done anything to this station that more than an inconveniance."
"This is the last stop of our tour. Admiral, if you would like to join me for dinner, i would be honored. And your retinue is also welcome. It would not be good to show hospitality to the highest but not to the lowest. We have a saying here, 'The whole is made up of singles and singles make up the whole. Without one you cannot have the other.' You are all welcome to the hospitality of the Station Onyx." Administrator Adrin said.

Wolf: Was releaved to see that Cadet Kane got his message and that he retreavied the transponder. Well at least I'll have some help keeping the admiral off track. Wolf was able to access the air vents with no problem he scanned them to make sure there were no hidden security devices so far there were none. When he craweled through he kept as quite as he could. He arrived at ops a few mins behind the Admiral in time to hear that they were going to have dinner together. Wolf kept silent to see what was going to happen next. While he did that he set his tricoreder up to mask his life sign. He wanted to scan the ops room but it was not a good idea he didn't want to set of any alarms it was best just to stay quite and see if anything happens.

“Have fun,” Crystal says to Arika as he prepares to leave. He departs and she stays at the station a little longer, making sure the ship is securely docked, but ready to leave quickly if there is trouble. Content with the arrangements made, Crystal heads to her quarters to change to civilian clothing, and then on to the Starbase. She brings her communicator with her, of course, she knows the value of being available if needed.
She walks around the station, but notices quickly that there is no way she is going to be able to blend in with the native inhabitants. She is not too surprised by this and not at all bothered by it. She doesn't have any particular reason to be inconspicuous anymore.
Crystal triggers the translator component of her badge to only translate if she tells it to. She rather likes the feeling of being lost in a strange place and hearing the alien language flow around her. Using the translator can only create a false sense of security.
Crystal wanders, carefully observing and paying attention to where she is in relation to the entrance back to the Hanson as well as any good defense or regrouping points. She wonders if she will pass anyone from the Hanson, and if she does whether they will recognize her, and if they do if they will want to talk to her.

Back in sickbay Brelev was busy looking at the latest test results on cadet Jolim. She seemed to be slowly recovering, but it was taking an eternity and Brelev desperatly wanted to speed the process up. It was obviose that the Klenix sabateur knew a great deal about the device he had used, and here they where docked at a Klenix station where certainly there was someone who also knew a great deal about the device.
The answer seemed simple, go to the station, find the nearest infirmary and talk to the head doctor. But Brelev was not in any condition to do so, or at least could not alone. She did want to go and explore the station, encountering a new species was always such a treat, but to ignore her own advice to other patients and leave sickbay was to be somewhat hypocritical.
Is she respounding to the therepy? Brelev asked Doctor Hope, still using a PaDD to communicate even though her voice and hearing where gradually restoring themselves. Everytime she tried to speak she got a funny look so she was wuite certain it came out a tangled mess.
Gradually. I'd up the dosage, but it would most likely damage her system. Michael replied
Brelev sighed, and looked over to where S'reena was pacing like a caged cat. The First officer had issues with sickbay, and at the moment Brelev could hardly blame her.
S'reena, I am considering a short trip to the station. Nurse Mitchel can accompany me and I see no reason why you should remain here while I get the freedom to leave. I am going to sick some answers in regard to what is happening to Cadet Jolim. You can join me, or return to your cadet. Either way I would appreciate if you remain in contact with your husband and if you feel dizzy or odd in any way, return immediatly.
<Tag S'reena>
That settled, Brelev instructed Nurse Mitchel to take her to the Transporter room, taking care to grab a Medkit on her way out. It was unlikely she would need it, but old habits died hard.

S'reena frowned but nodded like a good patient. "I think I'll be going back to the bridge," she announced, catching her husband's glance from the corner of her eyes. "I promise to take things easy and not excite myself," she added, smiling slightly, "I'll just be a good little Romulan and sit in the captain's chair, keeping it warm until Admiral Drew returns to the ship."
She caught Brelev's smile before the two women parted ways just outside sickbay. "Besides, someone's got to keep an eye on our bright science cadet," she added softly, "even though she seems to be managing well just by herself."
A few minutes later, S'reena entered the bridge, completely out of breath from the walk she'd taken. "Report," she called, as she settled in the captain's chair. "Fraugg, got any way of getting that creature off our hull already?"
<Fraugg...by all means get it off>
She had barely spoken the words when the bridge suddenly went completely dark, and emergency back-ups didn't kick in. "Jason, what's going on!" she snapped, tapping her combadge. "Engineering, are you registering a power failure? The bridge is out of power, nothing works except the tricorders we have on us."
<Jason/Max.......creature's draining our power.....lifesupport will fail eventually....fix it, but not too quickly>
S'reena gazed at the main viewscreen, which had gone blank with the power failure. The Romulan pondered on whether to recall the away team, then she shook her head. This was just something minor, nothing to worry her commanding officer over.
"All department heads, status!" she finally called.
<any cadet still left behind, all instructors who're left behind....what goes>

=^=Bridge Commander Hope is going back to the bridge, but I want you to make sure that she doesn't excite herself=^=
=^=Understood, Doctor=^=
Jason couldn't help but smile at Doctor Hope's over anxiousness. Jason knew that S'reena would never want to be treated like a child and he would not be stupid enough to do it, but he would make sure that she wouldn't overexert herself.
"Report," she called, as she settled in the captain's chair. "Fraugg, got any way of getting that creature off our hull already?"
Jason relinquished the command chair and took his station. He was trying to get rid of the creature, but he yet had not found any luck. As soon as Jason finished his thought the lights and systems on the bridge went out. Normally back power would of kicked in by now, but that was not the case.
"Jason, what's going on!" she snapped.
"Commander we have no power at all," Jason reported as he found his flashlight," all systems are dead." There was a loud humming sound, which was then followed by a small explosion of sound. Minimal lights and power came back on line and Jason immediately tried to find out what was happening.
"Commander its the creature, its has attached itself to the bridge," Jason reported.
<Fraugg/S'reena>

ooc: if you address me, do please do it correctly. It's Commander Hope, not Commander S'reena.
"Well get it off then!" the Romulan snapped, "instead of stating the obvious, why haven't you two found a way to detach it from the hull."
S'reena was starting to get angry now, wondering just why she had to tell an experienced operations chief how to proceed. Now, if the cadet didn't know it was something else, though she expected more from her this far into the mission too. The cadet had come well trained and with her mentor's recommendation, but so far performance was disappointing.
Yet, she knew the cadet wasn't to blame; this situation was different than holodeck scenarios. The Romulan turned to the cadet. "Any luck yet in finding a neutralizing agent?" she asked, her voice more gentle this time. "If you don't find a way soon, life support will fail. Nothing else is working, we are trapped on the bridge."
To support her theory, she tried to pry one of the hatches open that led towards the ship's maze of jeffries tubes. The hatch wouldn't budge. "Yep, we are trapped here," she emphasized, gazing around at the remaining bridge crew. "Well snap to it people, we have work to do!"
<Fraugg, get that thing off......Reynolds assist her but let her do the majority of coming up with something. Daya if you're on the bridge, I'm sure you'll find something to do without fixing us straight away in one post.>
