Back post:Brelev was guiding Dana through the labs when her comm badged beeped. "Ah hello commander, hows is your cadet's training going?" =A=Very well, Cadet Warrick is proving herself to be the makings of a fine officer. I'm just giving her a tour of the ship now.=A= Brelev replied, she was wondering why Daya had commed her, they did not talk ideally very often "Actually there was a reason for me contacting you, you see my cadet and I are working on a drill for the bridge crew, but i wanted to get sick bay involved as well, so i was hoping you could help me out. I was trying to make a vial or something to create a minor wound, not an actualy phaser burn or anything like that, just something to look like one, and give the tricorders the readings of one, but i couldnt quite figure it out, would you be willing to help me?" =A= I Can give you a hand, drop by Sickbay in about half an hour and I'll see what I can do.=A= Last mission she had sat on the sidelines, till off duty form her hiberbation, this mission she seemed to be in constant demand. ----------- Back to the Present: "I'm willing to get my hands dirty too Doctor, if allowed?" Dana asked. "You sure can. Why don't you start with some simple scans. Take the science consol and keep an eye on our flight path, and any anomaly in the area. It can be dull work, but it's the kind of every day job you will be doing a great deal once you graduate." Brelev recammeded. "I'm needed back in sickbay if you need a hand. When you get bored up here, we could use your help getting ready for the supply drop." Brelev insured that Dana was set up with everything she needed and then headed back to sickbay. She was only their a few minutes when, of all people, S'reena arrived. Commander Hope was frightended of doctors, well not Michael, either way Brelev had never seen her come to sickbay willingly. Something was very off about this visit. Yes, S'reena was due for some vaccinations, but Brelev had been prepared to bring her in kicking and screaming. Brelev had never liked the Romulan First Officer very much, and was not careful about showing it. "I am here for my physical evaluation," S'reena reported, "and I need to receive boosters for several vaccinations." She handed Brelev a PADD, though she knew the doctor was quite aware of what vaccinations she'd need.
Brelev took the PaDD, and stared at Brelev intently. "I supose I should take oppertunity of your cooperativeness. I'll get the shots, have a seat on this biobed." She arrived back with the hyposprays and injected them. Vaccinations where a simple affair, but most officers avoided them like the plague. "Alright, your good for that. Now I noticed you are due for a physical, and since you are here I might as well get that out of the way. The physical took less then twenty minutes, but the results where less then adequet. S'reena had been ill several weeks prior along with most of the senior staff. They had managed to cure the illness, caused by a parasitic species, but S'reena had not fully recoverd. Her muscles had lost 10 percent of their previous tone, and her cardio system had had better days. Although S'reena looked fine, a good endurance run would prove otherwise. "Hmm, It's a good thing you came to me. Your body is taking longer to recover from the illness then the other patients. It could be species related, or perhaps something else. Either way I am prescribing an exercise routine for you." Brelev typed up her prescription on a PaDD and handed it to S'reena. "The pool in the fitness facilities will suffice, If you are not sure how to swim, I am certain I can find an instructor. I have found this routine very helpful in the past." <Tag S'reena> In case Brelev did not have enough things to be doing the doors to sickbay slid open and Marine Major Methos entered. After a brief discussion with Commander Hope he turned his attention to Brelev. "Well, I suppose that I should let the good doctor examine me," he paused, "Doctor, if you would be so kind as to get this over with, I am sure that you need to get ready for this inspection, too?""Apparently, I did not even know the captain was holding one." Brelev sighed, so much for doing her research, maybe she'd get the EMH to help Daya or do the research. Having crew members arrive voluntarily for physicals was every doctor's dream, accept today they all seemed to come when she was busy. She pulled out Metho's file and began to run the physical, wondering if anyone else was going to arrive. Usually she liked to check over the cadets as well, but fitting that in was going to be a problem.

Daya had hoped it wouldnt take long for the doctor to get those vials for him, lucky for him a half hour was about all he needed. "Cadet, gather all the security personnel who are non-essential and take them to the holodeck for your program."
<Tag Halthor>
"You've already dont that? well good work. I'll see if Major Methos has any marines who aren't doing anything he would like to have a some extra training for."
=^=Lt. Commander Daya to Marine Major Methos, do you have marines who are free for some extra training? My cadet is running a few battle simulations for mission readiness.=^=
<tag Methos>
Daya looked around his office and nodded his head, everything was good for the moment. Finally thinking of something else for him to do to get ready for his "tests" he headed out the door towards sickbay.
When he entered, he nodded at Methos, who was sitting on a biobed, and moved to stand behind Commander Brelev. "Commander, would you like some help with our 'project'?" he said, inquiring a about his injury vials.

"All necessary preparations are made lt. commander daya, now we can proceed with our training drills." cdt. halthor responded and then waited for the commander to deliberate on a decision to make the necessary people go to what they needed to go to and how the simulation was going to take place.

S'reena nearly choked when she heard the order to go swimming. "Surely the gym will suffice?" she asked, her voice barely a whisper. At Brelev's stern glance, she winced and felt all colour drain from her face. She was fortunate to be already sitting down because her legs wouldn't have been able to carry her weight at that moment.
"Doctor, I can't swim," she pleaded, "and I'm..." She faltered, glancing up at the Denobulan doctor, feeling helpless. "..I'm afraid of water." There she said it; the seemingly fearless Romulan was afraid of something as harmless as water. However there was no convincing the CMO.
S'reena was saved from further embarassment when Methos entered sickbay and started talking to her. The Romulan first officer blinked in surprise. "Inspections?" she echoed, glancing from Methos to Brelev. "Funny, I have no knowledge of pending inspections, and as far as I know it's my job to conduct them. I'll have a chat with T'Lana, but first I need to attend to something else."
She cast a glare at Brelev before slightly unsteadily walking out of sickbay. ~swim?~ she asked herself, shuddering at the mere thought. She'd need a horribly patient instructor to even get her near the pool, let alone in the water. Unconsciously, she had walked towards Salek's quarters. ~ah yes, he'd be the most patient man I know. Let's hope he's willing~
S'reena made her presence known and waited to be called in. "Salek, I have a request to make of you," she started, still looking scared and forlorn, "you can say no as it's going to be a daunting task."
She waited several seconds before continuing. "I've been ordered to a swimming routine," she explained, her voice starting to lose it's usual strength once more, "and I can't swim. You know that, and you know the why of it. Since it's going to be a standing order I can't get out of, I need someone to teach me."
S'reena stood before the Vulcan counselor, apprehensively awaiting his answer.
(Salek)
After talking to Salek, she returned to the bridge, acknowleded Dana's presence, then directly walked up to the Vulcan captain. "What's this about inspections and why aren't I aware of it? It's my job to conduct them, and all departments have recently been inspected. There's no need for another one."

T’lana raised a sharp eyebrow at Commander Hope’s overly emotional outburst. Then standing from her chair, she stared directly into the Romulans eyes.
“Clearly Commander you memory escapes you, perhaps if you had better control of your emotions you would recall that I informed you of the inspections before you left for sickbay, perhaps you should return there?”
Commander Hope stared angrily at T’lana for several moments, anger in her eyes.
“And perhaps you should leave me to do my job!”
Everyone on the bridge went deadly silent, the Cadet’s on the bridge were staring opened mouthed at the argument between the two command officers. The officers were pretending to be busy at their consoles, but all ears were finely tuned to what was happening.
“Commander, I think you should join me in the ready room,” T’lana said in an icy voice.
Without waiting for a response, T’lana marched promptly passed the Romulan, and left the bridge, she was aware of Commander Hope’s footsteps following her. T’lana had to use all of her self control not to explode at the woman when the ready room doors had closed. Such emotional behaviour on the bridge was unacceptable!
“If you ever question me on my bridge again Commander, I will have your commission,” T’lana said in a cold voice, “if you have a compliant, you speak to me about it in private in a calm and logical manner, your behaviour was unbecoming of a senior officer.”
“I remind you again Commander that Admiral Drew is no longer in command of this vessel, he might allow his officers to behave in such a manner on the bridge, but I do not. You are dismissed.”
Commander Hope opened her mouth to reply, but T’lana cut her off.
“I said dismissed Commander!”
With Hope gone, T’lana sat back in her chair, and slowly controlled her breathing. In all her life, she had never met someone like the Commander, it was going to take all of her self control to keep her emotions in check.
Feeling more in control, T’lana tapped her comm badge.
“Captain to all hands, prepare for ship wide inspections.”

Upon arriving on the Hanson, Cadet Kiral Mallen realized that she had arrived much later than the other cadets. She put her things in her quarters before hurrying to the bridge, so as not to delay any longer.
On her way, she remembered the first time she had been on a Federation starship. That had been lifetimes ago; she had been another Mallen. The Hanson was certainly a step up from the Daedalus class ship Torel Mallen had served on. The uniforms had been more comfortable back then, she noted, but the sciences she had a passion for were almost laughable.
She arrived on the bridge, and it didn't take her long to find her instructor. She assumed that the Romulan in the first officer's chair was Commander S'reena Hope. Kiral noticed that she looked quite angry, and hoped it wasn't because she was a little late. She nervously approached.
"Cadet Kiral Mallen reporting for duty, sir," she said. "I was told that you'd be my instructor for this mission." The way she said it, it sounded more like a question than a statement. "I'm training as a science officer."

Salek was in his quarters conducting research on the SEM microscope he had installed there so that he could work on his PhD in immunology. He found the bio-chemical lab too... popular and people always coming or going to be able to work there in peace. But apparently the note about the work hours that was on his door did not mean anything to some people.
As he closed down the microscope and called the person who obviously could not read to enter. When S'reena entered he realized why the person did not hold to the work hours that were on the door... she had more problems than he could fit in his work schedule.
After she laid out her problem, he came to the logical response right away.
"Perhaps you should consider informing the doctor of your problem, which, I should say, is clearly spelt out in the records, and therefore the doctor can prescribe another therapy?", he questioned
But instead of getting a response he got a question if he would be willing to teach her to swim.
"Commander, if you would like me to teach you to swim you will need to let go of your fear of water... and that will take time", he said, "But if you wish, we can arrange a course after we finish this mission", he said, "I understand the new Captain took quite a liking to you and decided to take you under her, wing.", he said, "I believe is the human term for it", he questioned

When he entered, he nodded at Methos, who was sitting on a biobed, and moved to stand behind Commander Brelev. "Commander, would you like some help with our 'project'?" he said, inquiring a about his injury vials.
Brelev broke her focus from Methos physical and looked over at Daya. She was unsure of why exactly the tactical officer felt the need for realistic injuries, and thus was somewhat hesitant about supplying them. He seemed to be very secretive about the whole thing, but as long as the medical team was aware of what was happening, she would give it the go ahead. "Just let me finish up here and I'll be right with you, would you mind waiting in my office."
She turned back to the Senior Marine. "You seem to be in excellent health, I'll update your records once I'm done with your vaccinations. Now, Your artificial eye, has it been acting up? I think it may need an adjustment." Brelev asked as she prepped the vaccinations. She was rather good with implants, not exactly a specialist, but better with them then the average CMO. As she waited for Methos to reply she injected him with the shots.
<Tag Methos>
That done Brelev headed into her office to speak with Daya. "Getting you what you want is only a matter of replicating the vials, Star Fleet medical already had this technology for training purposes. However, I am not going to give them to you untill I know exactly what is going to be done with them. I don't want any mass histeria on board about injuries that are not even genuine. I need to know who is using them, who they will be fooling and where they will be placed. Understand?"
<Tag Daya>
=A=“Captain to all hands, prepare for ship wide inspections.” =A=
Brelev gave an exasperated sigh, why inspections, why now? She looked out her window into the ward two where the nurses and Michael where busy sorting the supplies, which where spread out all over the floor. Ellena's hair had come unpinned, and her sister was busy chatting wildly to Michael, her work suffering in the process. Brelev's desk was a mess, the instruments from both physicals where still sitting out. The research she had been trying to get done was laying out on one of the biobeds. Of all the times for an uptight Captain to make an inspection, this was the worst. On the plus side, they did not have any injured or sick crewmembers cluttering the scene.

S'reena sat in her first officer's chair, glaring at the main viewscreen. They would arrive at their destination in a few hours, but there was still plenty to do. She did know she would be writing a letter of complaint to Admiral McCormick about T'Lana's tactless acting, which would also be copied to Drew.
She felt she was having an incredibly bad day, being bitched at from all sides. Even Salek wasn't very supportive of her, whereas he usually was listening more carefully and taking more time for her. But at least he promised to teach her to swim at the end of this mission, but that still didn't take care of her immediate problem, as this planet consisted 80% of water.
A young woman stopped in front of her, apparently addressing her and reporting in as a science cadet. The Romulan looked up and forced herself to smile. "Welcome aboard Cadet Mallen," she spoke up, her voice showing the held back anger she felt.
S'reena motioned forward to the science console, which was currently occupied by Cadet Warrick. "At the moment Cadet Warrick is busy but in a few hours the station will be free. You and I will take the night shift on science. For now, I suggest you report to sickbay and hand in the results of your previous physical, then report back to me for a tour of the ship. But...have you had time to take a brief rest and find your quarters?"
<Mallen>
She glared up at the Vulcan CO as she approached. "Cadet Kiral Mallen, this is Captain T'Lana. She is temporarily replacing Admiral Drew while he is away on a very important mission. Captain T'lana, our latest arrival. Science Cadet Kiral Mallen."

Crystal was at her station, listening to what was going on. There were numerous reasons that she was happy to be a Navigations officer, and the ones she seemed to be most aware of today were due to some of the responsibilities she did not have. She hardly ever had to give orders, nor did she have a large staff to oversee.
“And perhaps you should leave me to do my job!”
Crystal carefully kept her eyes on her station, as the words seemed to echo. She didn't want to stare after all. But she didn't know that she'd ever heard this degree of disagreement between a Captain and First Officer before. And she felt quite relieved that she wasn't currently directly involved in the disagreements.
Captain T'lar and Commander Hope didn't spend very long in the captain's ready room, but Crystal guessed that they wouldn't really have to. After all, how long could it take for Captain T'lar to tell S'reena not to question her orders. Since that was pretty much what the Vulcan temporary CO had to be saying.
“Captain to all hands, prepare for ship wide inspections.”
Crystal nodded to herself, but she realized she wasn't quite sure what she would need to do for the ship wide inspections. Just make sure her station was freshly polished and that everyone in the navigation department was doing their job? Or was there some preparation she should be doing now that she didn't know about?
Crystal wasn't sure, so she decided to just watch some of the other, more experienced officers, to see if she needed to do anything else, like change into her dress uniform or something silly like that. Crystal was all too aware of her complete lack of experience in certain areas of protocol.

Kiral nodded, paying careful attention to everything her instructor said. The commander didn't act angry, but she sounded it, and it made Kiral nervous. "At the moment Cadet Warrick is busy but in a few hours the station will be free. You and I will take the night shift on science. For now, I suggest you report to sickbay and hand in the results of your previous physical, then report back to me for a tour of the ship. But...have you had time to take a brief rest and find your quarters?" "Yes, Commander, I've found my quarters," Kiral confirmed. She hadn't rested, but she didn't feel she needed it. It was only her first day, and she had never required a lot of sleep to keep her going. She didn't feel the need to delay her trip to sickbay and her tour by taking a nap. "Cadet Kiral Mallen, this is Captain T'Lana. She is temporarily replacing Admiral Drew while he is away on a very important mission. Captain T'lana, our latest arrival. Science Cadet Kiral Mallen." The glare that passed between Kiral's captain and commander was frightening. The Trill didn't need any more information to assume that Captain T'lana was contributing to her instructor's foul mood. It wasn't completely unexpected. Kiral had never personally known a Romulan and a Vulcan to get along completely. "Hello, Captain," she said only slightly nervously. She wasn't exactly sure what to say to a captain. "I'm very excited about serving on the Hepta... Please excuse me. I should... get down to sickbay." She left the bridge as quickly as possible, not willing to be around two angry senior officers any longer than necessary. It didn't take her long to find the sickbay. "Excuse me," she asked the first person she saw there. "Is the doctor here? I need to turn in my physical."

S'reena rushed after Mallen, laughing softly as she caught up with the flustered cadet. "Surely you meant serving on the Hanson?" she asked, as she joined the younger woman in the turbolift, "and while we're going down anyway, I should show you the science labs. We could start some experiments there so I can observe your capability of running them and setting them up."
She waited for Mallen to respond, while they walked towards sickbay. "I'll wait here," she said, nodding towards sickbay's doors while she clasped her hands behind her back and leaned against the bulkhead. "I've just had my physical, so I'll not need to go back in there for a while."

Alanna looked up from where she had been working to discover the source of te inquisitive voice. It was a trill cadet, whose blue teal collar suggested she was either training in science of medical. Since the doctor had not mentioned any additional medical cadet Alanna assumed this cadet was training elsewhere. "We have two doctor's on right now. Commander Brelev is the CMO, she is in her office at the moment. This fellow is Doctor Hope, he's the ship's pediatrician. You look a little old for him, so I'll take you to Brelev."
Brelev had just finished helping Daya when Alanna enterd her office, cadet in tow. "This is cadet... What was your name?"
<Tag Kiral>
"She's here to turn in her physical." Alanna finished.
"Turn it in." Brelev repeated, pondering the wondefulness of this news. "Excellent, then it's already done. As you can see we are pretty busy in here. Where did you say you where training?"
<Tag Kiral>
"That makes two, cadet Warrick is training in Science as well. You may have met her on the bridge. Although she is picking up some additional training in medical. Now let's see that physical." Brelev held her hand out for the PaDD.

"I'm Cadet Kiral Mallen," she told the doctor, who was clearly pleased at the fact that she had gotten her physical over with before boarding. "I'm training in science," she said when asked. Kiral handed the PaDD with her results to the doctor.
"I haven't looked over that myself," she admitted, "But since it's just a physical, I don't know if it mentions my psychological condition or not... I have a medically diagnosed phobia of holodecks," Kiral explained. "I haven't even been able to step inside one since I was very young... I figured that would be something you would want to know about...?"
She stopped, getting shy again. Somehow none of the Mallens had ever been very good at talking to people, and she was no exception to the symbiont's legacy.

Just as T’lana was preparing herself to leave to conduct the inspections, the computer announced that someone was outside her ready room. Retaking her seat, she called for the person to enter.
Cadet Halthor walked eagerly in, a padd in his hand.
“How can I help you Cadet?” T’lana asked, although she suspected she already knew the purposes of this visit.
“Captain, I have the details for the drills ready for your approval,” Halthor replied, handing her the padd.
“Thank you Cadet, please take a seat,” T’lana said. Halthor nervously sat in one of the chairs opposite the desk as T’lana read over his proposals. The work was certainly impressive, and it was obvious to T’lana that the Cadet had put in a great deal of work. Finally, she pressed her thumb print, giving authorisation for the drill plan.
“Most impressive Cadet,” T’lana said, returning the padd, “you may start the drill at your discretion, I shall inform Commander Hope.”
“Thank you Captain,” Halthor replied, taking his padd, and hurrying out of the ready room.
<Halthor, you can take it away from here, I’ll leave it to you to decide what the drill situation is>
Picking up her own padd, T’lana walked out onto the bridge to begin her inspections. The first thing she noticed was that Commander Hope was not present on the bridge. Despite her calls for the ship wide inspection, the First Officer had clearly seen fit to abandon her station.
Much more satisfactory was the presence of Commander Shinsei at the helm. Since her arrival on the Hanson, T’lana had yet had reason to complain about the helm officers performance. It seemed to her that certain other officers could learn from her example.
“Commander Shinsei,” T’lana said approaching the helm station, “While I am below decks, I would like you to please assume command of the bridge. Cadet Halthor and Lieutenant Commander Daya will be conducting some drills shortly, give them your full co-operation.”
“Aye Captain,” Shinsei replied.
Leaving the bridge in the capable hands of Shinsei, T’lana made her way to the Marine offices.
One of the first things that T’lana noticed upon entering the office was that the entire Marine regiment were in full dress uniform. She made an approving note of this on her padd, and then approached Major Methos, who was standing next to his Cadet a young Vulcan named Tarapik.
“Major, it is nice to see such discipline in the ranks,” T’lana said, “most impressive.”
“Thank you Captain,” Methos replied proudly.
Nodding in response to the Major, T’lana turned her attention towards Tarakpik.
“Cadet, we will shortly be conducting a series of security drills on the bridge, perhaps it would of benefit of you to join Cadet Halthor there, I am sure you will both learn something from the experience.”
<Tarapik, join up with Cadet Halthor on the bridge, I am sure we can arrange for an “intruder” to beam aboard for you and Major Methos to track down. Commander Hope is particularly good at such things…>
Leaving the Marines to their own devices, T’lana next made her way towards sickbay, when she walked in, she raised an eyebrow in surprise at the number of people who were currently gathered in the medical ward.
“Dr. Brelev,” T’lana said, spotting the CMO near one biobed with a tricoder in her hand, “I was unaware we were experiencing an epidemic.”
“Captain!” Brelev exclaimed, turning sharply around and snapping close her tricorder, “we are not, all these people are here for physicals.”
“I see,” T’lana replied, making a note on her padd, “tell me, is it usual practice to have so many booked in for physicals at once? This seems to be an unnecessary stretch of your resources.”
<Brelev, I’ll leave you and Cadet Warrick to come up with a pleasing response for the good Captain lol>
OOC:
I have tried to give tasks to all the Cadets where I can. Halthor and Tarapik, you can have a free hand in the security drills, Commander Daya and Major Methos will be able to help you. I will speak to Commander Hope, and see if she is willing to again npc an intruder to give you something else to do. Cadets Warrick and Mallen, you both seem to be busy in sickbay, so I’ll leave you to it for now.

S'reena straightened as she noticed the Vulcan captain approaching, but the woman walked right past her without so much as an acknowledgement. The Romulan had half-expected the woman to snap orders at her, but to be completely ignored was something new. She gazed after T'Lana as she entered sickbay, but she refused to march in after her. No, she'd wait to see what'd happen when the Vulcan returned, if Cadet Mallen didn't return before then.
And indeed, several minutes later, the Vulcan walked out of sickbay and beckoned S'reena to follow. The glare that was shot in her direction told the first officer that now was not a time to argue about waiting for a cadet. Despite the fact that her dislike for sickbay was well-known, there were those who still thought of it as childish and fake. Pressing her lips together to prevent any form of retort, S'reena walked after T'Lana.
"Security and marine cadets are organising a drill," T'Lana informed her, "and they need a target to chase through-out the ship." She gazed down on the Romulan first officer, piercing dark brown (almost black) eyes boring down on her as though gazing into the woman's soul.
S'reena didn't like being scrutinized like this, and she dreaded what was going to come next. The way T'Lana was delivering the news, she feared the worst. "And?"
"Guess who the target is. Your sensor readings have been modified, you will be showing as an intruder as of ten minutes from now and something will be placed in your quarters to show that you are currently resting. Your cadet will be occupied by Lieutenant Rachael D'Oro, who will have approached her by now."
S'reena sighed. "As you wish," she answered, "I guess I'll better start covering my tracks?" She could swear she just saw T'Lana offer a hint of a devlish smile, but convinced herself she'd just imagined it. The Romulan turned her back on the Vulcan and walked away, seemingly in no rush.
Meanwhile, Lieutenant Rachael D'Oro, a tall olive-skinned human, strolled into sickbay and spotted the Trill cadet. "Cadet Mallen? I'm Lieutenant D'Oro. As Commander Hope has been called towards other tasks for the time being, I'm assigned as your instructor. I was told that Commander Hope was going to assess your skills in problem solving and setting up analysis experiments. I'll be performing this daunting task. Please follow me."
The woman led the Trill towards the science labs and set her down at a table. "Here, I want you to set this experiment up, and report back to me when you're done. You've got two hours to think of a hypothesis and a workable way on testing it."
(Mallen, feel free to come up with anything. Halthor, Tarapik, please find an intruder on scanners. You will NOT know you're chasing S'reena. Do as you please, but don't kill her. You may capture, tackle or shoot her, whatever you like...as long as she remains in play)

“I see,” T’lana replied, making a note on her padd, “tell me, is it usual practice to have so many booked in for physicals at once? This seems to be an unnecessary stretch of your resources.”
Brelev took a deep breath, an unnecessary stretch of her resources was having to deal with an inspection right now by an uptight Vulcan. "They came here willingly, I don't turn anyone away from my doors. As for Cadet Mallen, she is dropping of her medical record. The supplies you see are for the relief mission, we are separating and documenting them so that the colony does not have to spend their precious time doing it later."
"I see." The Vulcan replied, sounding more like she did not understand at all, nor cared to make an attempt to understand.
"Well we are on the topic of physicals, I make it a practice of running physicals on any new officer who joins this crew. Although you are here on a temporary basis, I would feel more comfortable if I am familiar with your physical health. That is, unless you feel this is an inefficient use of my time." Brelev made a point to draw out her last sentence, she was walking a fine line and she knew it, but she always had issues with commanding officers who got in the way of their subordinates work.
"My medical file is on record, and was updated less then a year ago. I see no reason why you feel feel the need to examine me personally." T'Lana replied. The Captain leaned forward in an obvious gesture to make her next words more private. "Also Commander, although you hide your emotions better then other officers on this ship, your disdain for my presence has been noted. I would advise against such comments in the future." She regained her previous posture and headed to the door. "Clean this place up, and Crewman." The cast her gaze in Ellena's direction. "Fix your hair, this is a Star Fleet vessel not a cruise ship."
With that, the Vulcan left and Brelev led the occupants of sickbay in a collective sigh of relief.

"Well you heard the captain, cdt. terapik. Your going to come with me so we can do the security drill." cdt Halthor looked at the fellow cadet and enjoyed some company while on the hunt for a intruder. The intruder not known to the cadets was bound to be a wise and powerful adversary who could be a match to a battle hardened arconan and a logical processing vulcan. Meanwhile the cadets got there gear together, and turned on their tricorders and phasers. "Lt. Commander Daya, This is cdt. halthor, and cdt. terapik, we are ready to commence the security drill and we are heading out to take care of the situation, please respond." after touching the comm badge the message was sent and Cdt. Halthor was sure that Lt. Commander Daya was as much aware as the Captain was of the situation.
<tag Daya>
"Its good to hear from you Lt. Commander Daya, the captain gave me the order and we are proceeding to the intruders locations with our equipment ready and will make sure this situation is handled appropriately." cdt. halthor touched the comm badge and then was assured that everything would be okay after the drill was performed.
<tag Daya>
"Thank you Lt. Commander Daya we wont let you down." both the cadets replied and then went to take care of the intruder. Little did the cadets know that what they were against might be someone of important significance, and it was there duty to capture the intruder, and bring them to the brig after the situation had been handled and the captain would relay some words of encouragement to the intruder. After some time the cadets searched the area and the signal was growing. The cadets were on to something and the intruder running away. "Cdt. Terapik, do you have your weapon ready." cdt. halthor wanted to be sure that this was going to be a piece of cake.
<Tag Terapik>
"That's good now we can proceed further on the trail to find this inruder and put it to a stop." cdt. halthor replied and eagerly went through every door nearby and proceeded down the ship decks in which case the intruder would be that much closer. "Were getting a signal stronger then we ever go before keep heading on this path." the cadets after some time went along the guided area that the tricorder has designated for them and in moments they would be before the intruder where they could trap and take hold of him or her and carry them to the brig. "Look what we got here the intruder seems to be trapped in this room. Open the door for us Cdt. Terapik." cdt. halthor responded to cdt. terapik in the hope that this would be the intruders area.
<Tag Terapik>
"Good lets see what we got in here". The cadets looked around the room and to there amazement it was only a transmitter, sending out a intruders frequency. "Damn, we lost the intruder, we now must resort to ship console and ask the computer where we might find a jogging intruder." cdt. halthor responded and then went out the room to the console. "Computer, tell me where i might find a jogging humanoid along the ship and narrow the scan so that we might get something". The computer console did its work and put the scan results on the display. "One suspect on scanners. a romulan," the computer responded and then made out the approximate location of the intruder. "Like they say back in human history, "We will have to piece it out one at a time." cdt. halthor was finished looking over the results and then made his steady approach to the suspect.

Dana was left alone at the science station on the Bridge. She watched as the doctor stepped into the turbo lift and headed back to sickbay. Her fingers moving deftly over the console, bringing up the data required for the scans that had been requested of her.
She was busy working when the new medical cadet appeared, stepping from the lift and going to where Cmdr. Hope was sitting. She only glanced at the two before going back to her work.
A short time later, she left the bridge and headed back to sickbay, the scans having been run and continuing to run. They didn’t need constant supervision and the information that was being collected would be automatically downloaded into the Padd she carried at her side.
She entered sickbay and nodded to the doctor who seemed to be busy with an influx of physical exams. Dana found her way to the science labs, which were situated next to the main area of sickbay and activated the console there.
It didn’t take long for her to transfer what information she’d collected already and to have the scans now going through the console before her rather than just on the bridge.
Once that was done she stepped back into the main sickbay area and moved to join the new cadet and Doctor Brelev.

S'reena knew she had only minutes to prepare for her daunting task. And to elude her chasers she needed to be dressed in something other than her duty uniform. She ducked into the nearest science lab and then into one of the offices containing a replicator. There, she changed herself into a black tight-fitting suit and black hooded cloak. With this, she could scavenge around the ship and hide unseen in the shadows.
Just before her 'time' started, she got herself changed and she darted past several stunned crewmembers thereby upturning several experiments she knew could be easily restarted, and out of the science labs. Pale-faced, crewman first class David Moore tapped his combadge. "Bridge, this is Crewman Moore in science lab two. We've got an intruder, can't tell whether it was male or female, or what species. Black clad, approximately one meter seventy tall I think."
(Vander/Tarapik/Reynolds/Daya)
Meanwhile, S'reena ran as if her life depended on it, leaving a trail of 'destruction' here and there to make sure the ship thought there was indeed an intruder. Then, when she thought she'd given them enough of a puzzle to follow, she ducked back into the shadows aboard the ship and stood waiting, listening intently to crew conversations and shipwide alerts.
Her heart was racing and she felt her blood rush through her veins past her ears as she panted for breath. She stood, back pressed against the wall, making herself as flat and invisible as possible. She'd done this once before, and the result had been extremely dangerous. An overeager marine cadet had her cornered and captured, and only when he started a ruthless interrogation had he discovered who his captive had been. She'd been pregnant with Yarna at the time, but even that hadn't deterred the cadet.
Now, the waiting game began, and she knew she'd have to provoke the cadets into action if needed. They needed to learn that an adversary could be anyone; man, woman, even child. And they had to learn not to hesitate, and she would teach them exactly that: not to hesitate. Still breathing hard, she pulled out her phaser and set it on light stun. This setting would not knock out the victim, but would only temporarily paralyse them. She also checked the hard rubber knife with which she'd replaced her usual trusty weapon.
(cadets, enter the chase! Not too quickly please..take two or three posts....and do your worst!)

While assisting the medical team with "tidying up" Brelev heard someone behind her. She turned to see Cadet Warrick looking at her expectantly.
"Hello Cadet, did the bridge get a little dull?" Brelev asked, not entirely expecting an answer. "I'm glad you are here, as you can see we are a little busy. I have a task for you that involves a little bit in both of your fields. I need you to do some research on the plague that is running rampart on Feta IV. I started doing some delving myself, but was needed elsewhere. You can start by looking at the symptoms, and the treatment that have been attempted. Then together we might be able to brainstorm something that is going to work. With any luck we'll be able to crack the code. You can use the computer in my office, I still have some of the files up from Star Fleet medical on this manner."
<Tag Dana>
With her cadet now engaged in a worthwhile task Brelev turned her attention back to the medical supplies, but before she could make a move the klaxon sounded and an announcement came over the collective comm badges of all in the room.
=A= Bridge to sickbay, an intruder has been reported on board in your vicinity. Prepare for casualties=A=
Brelev taped her own badge =A= Acknowledged, please keep us posted.=A=
She suspected this had a great deal to do with Daya's request for the fake wound, and the drills that they where running. Of course, just because she suspected this intruder was a fake, did not mean sickbay was excluded from the drill. So much for finishing up with the supplies. "Alright, you heard them, let's clear these biobeds. Michael, make sure we have at least one armed person in here encase the intruder would like to pay us a visit, a hypospray of sedative may work, but it's not exactly ideal."
Michael gave her a curt nod and headed off to find the nearest weapon's locker. Brelev headed into her office to instruct Dana on what was expected of her. "Cadet, as much as I'd like to get that research done, this intruder alert is going to have to take priority. I'd like to assist me in treating any injured that arrive."
<Tag Dana>
(O.O.C With a spell check, 3 words corrected, why am I telling you this? I figure it's a good way to bring attention to the spell check feature in the posting screen. Although most of you are doing a great job, it is important to double check these things for the sake of those reading your posts.)

"OH, looking here, my tricorder is messing up from the signal on the computer console, looks like it was an error and the intruder is still on the readings but no romulan. I will have to look over this and see what i can make out of the error. Maybe some kind of tampering or quick fix. I dont know but it was bound to happen anytime on a ship that is being fixed and systems that do change from time to time." cdt. halthor responded with the new information that was being sent to his tricorder, and still kept on his way to the intruder. Both cadets continued there approach toward the the intruder and it was clearly noted that the tricorder had a significant amount of processing power to send out a signal to the area that the intruder may have been in. With the both cadets knowledge of the situation and there knowledge of technology was substantial. Now continuing on there reach of the possible intruder both of the cdts would find out that the intruder was closing in on their location.
"Understood crewman moore, we have the intruder on our signal and we are heading to your location, standby." The cadets went through the hanson very quickly with the news of the possible location of the intruder. It was there duty to get to it quickly and perform drills measure in a secure fashion so that the intruder would be dealt with. The intruder now on the run from the science labs was getting ever closer to the cdts and the cdts getting closer to the intruder. Moments later, "Hello Crewman more, i am cdt halthor and this is cdt. terapik. Were here to find the intruder and from your description its seems that the intruder has taken off on a wild goose chase. Where do you think that the intruder may have gone in our persuit." cdt. halthor responded and then heard the the crewmans response. "Well i dont know if it was a female or male, or the distinct race it was but the intruder was wearing some kind of sleek blackened uniform so that he or she could not be identified by me or anyone. You might try asking some other crewmembers for the location of the intruder, i hope that you do find him or her." The crewman responded while getting things organized in the science labs. "I'll be sure to do that, thank you very much for that information crewman more. Also, do you guys need help with your clean up in the science labs, cdt terapik and i could sure help you out with it and lend you a hand if its only for five minutes." cdt halthor responded and the crewman spoke "Nope im sure we got it from here, but thanks for asking, the captain wouldnt be to happy to have you dissuade from the drill. Continue on with what you have." the crewman responded and then both the cadets and the crewman said there farewells.
The cadets now on the pursuit continued along the hanson until something came up. It wouldnt be long though that the cadets would find the intruder and bring him or her to the brig. The cadets cautiously talked to anyone close by and soon enough there questions would be answers with the most definate area of the intruder. "Crewman Zycho, have you seen a black uniformed male or female run by here while doing your duties." cdt halthor looking very interested in the response. "I did happen to see someone in a black attire, i couldnt make it out but they were jogging pretty fast through the ship. The best place i could say they would be at deck d . Because the intruder went through that turbolift and touched the button to get to the next deck." the crewman responded without hesitation. "You heard the man, cdt terapik we now have reason to believe that many crewmembers have seen the intruder and now if we proceed through the turbolift and get to deck d we could be on to something." both the cadets ran to the turbolift and then walked out on deck d to find the lights turned out and other crewmembers with there hand held lights turned on. Cdt. Terapik make sure you have your light turned on this is going to be very interesting.
<tag Terapik>
"Good, now we can proceed through this dark area and find out which area the intruder has gone to." cdt. halthor replied and turned on his hand held light. The cadets were in disbelief that the intruder could have done any damage to the ship but it was on that thought that the intruder bypassed the systems computer and turned out the lights on deck d. The chase was on!

“Commander Shinsei,” the captain said, then proceeded to hand over the bridge and warn Crystal of impending drills.
“Aye Captain,” Crystal replied, wondering what misguided idea Captain T'lara had that made the Vulcan think Crystal would be a good choice to leave in command, even for only the tiniest fraction of time. Oh well. Even though Crystal knew she wasn't a good choice, she could still try to her best to be the good officer she was expected to be. Though it seemed awfully boring, even more boring than standing at the helm station.
Crystal thought quickly, after Captain T'lara had left, that maybe she was missing a vital part of being in charge of the bridge. There were probably 20 plus things she should be doing right now, but Crystal didn't know what they were. And she couldn't exactly watch other people to find them out.
Crystal forced herself to take a quiet, calming breath. She was supposed to be prepared for the impending security drills, so she guessed that there wasn't terribly much to do before then unless something came up. She didn't wait long before she was informed of an intruder in the science lab two.
Crystal didn't think this sounded like a security drill, but she wasn't sure. But it wouldn't really make a difference how she acted, at least theoretically it wouldn't. She tried to remember where science lab two was, a fair bit away from the bridge and engineering, which was good. But she thought it was near sickbay. She quickly verified it, and tapped her commbadge. =/\= Bridge to sickbay, an intruder has been reported on board in your vicinity. Prepare for casualties=/\=
She tapped her commbadge again, she was sure that security already knew about this, but it was important to coordinate. Or at least she thought that was the case. =/\=Bridge to security, for the intruder, can you please keep me informed if they approach major civilian areas?=/\= Crystal asked, wondering if that was even a reasonable request to ask.

Methos was about to release his marines for the afternoon, after the impeccable job they did on the inspection, when the alarm klaxons started going off. Just then he heard the announcement over the comm.
~Intruder Alert! Intruder Alert!~
"All right marines, I want teams one and two to get into your fatigues. Team one, go to the bridge; team two, go to engineering. The rest of you you have 1 hour of rest, I suggest you use it. Dismissed," Methos said.
He went into his office and quickly changed uniforms. When he was finished, he asked the computer, "Computer, where is the Captain?"
~The Captain is in engineering.~
Methos left his office and ran to engineering. When he got there, the Captain was just finishing her inspection of the Warp Core. HE walked up to her and said, "Captain, I figured that with an intruder on board, the best place for me is by your side."

=/\=Cdt. Halthor here, i have received your message and i will inform you of the situation at hand, if we find that the intruder has approached the civilian areas it will be my honor to report them to you.=/\=
Cdt Halthor replied and then proceeded along with his duties at hand while on deck d, where supposedly the intruder had went to, with the lights out. The cadets had some sufficient light from there hand lights and they could see that some crew members were looking at them with curiosity.
It was at that the cadets were pondering the situation and continued on there way through the darkened deck halls in the hope that the intruder might be found.
