Breath hissing between her teeth, S'reena knelt down beside the unconscious counselor. She cursed the Vulcan captain and her actions, and she would be certain to file a complaint about her with Admiral Drew, once they were safely back aboard the Hanson.
She stroked the damp hair from his face then laid her hand flat on his forehead. Salek's skin was clammy to the touch and S'reena feared that he may be developing a fever. She leaned in closer, hissing again as the broken ribs stabbed her viciously. Fortunately, her nose had stopped bleeding but she still felt ill-balanced due to the nasty feeling it was giving her. She felt nauseous, but had little choice but to carry on. Leaning closer, she listened to his breathing and frowned in concern.
"Salek wake up," she whispered at him, shaking him gently. When the Vulcan did not respond, she slapped him sharply on the cheek. "Commander Salek, you wake up this instant," she snapped, hoping he'd react to a strong-voiced order. When again he didn't react, she slapped him with all her might, not once but twice. On the second swing, he caught her wrist. S'reena glanced down in surprise then cast him a pained smile.
"That is enough," Salek told her as he slowly sat up. He stiffled a groan as he did so, but accepted S'reena's assistance in getting up.
S'reena yelped as her muscles tensed on Salek's added weight, but she didn't let go. "We'll support eachother, while T'Lana leads the way," she told him, "we must get you Vulcans out of here before you two fall ill." The Romulan hadn't missed T'Lana's now laboured breathing, even though she was doing a very good job of hiding it. "We have to find the rest of the crew...and the cadets. The Klingons said something about mines...I overheard that much."
She cast Salek a somewhat sheepish grin as she stuffed the fallen Klingon dagger in Salek's hands. "You nor I are in any condition to fire a disruptor. You're too ill to even aim properly, and I am injured." She pulled her own blade from her boot. "But we're not defenseless." Now, she nodded at T'Lana. "Let's go!"

OOC well, i missed alot.
IC
Daya smiled as he looked over at Methos, who had used a knife to kill the klingon, with a quick twist he snapped the klingons neck and slowly let the body fall flat. "show off" Methos said as he turned away, to speak with Brelev.
Daya knew how it would end, so he kept quite and let them argue for the few moment, all while he thought things over. He stared at a smooth rock for minutes at a time, thinking about what to do and how to get out, but nothing would come to him, but just incase he kept his eyes open for anyone to get an idea.

As S’reena worked on Salek, T’lana studied the Klingon disrupter she had taken from the fallen guard. When she had fired it at the other, she had been startled to discover that it was set to disintegrate, unfortunately, Klingon weapons tended not to have very many settings, unlike a Starfleet phaser. Her understanding of Klingon script was only basic, but T’lana now hoped she had set the weapon to a stun setting.
T’lana nodded her head at S’reena’s comments about them now being armed. Neither Salek or S’reena were in a state to be able to put up a fight, T’lana had not intended to injury S’reena so badly, but the First Officer seemed to had fallen at a rough angle. Thankfully the two officers were able to support each other, and just about walk. Holding the disrupter in a defensive position, T’lana led the way out of the cell.
The corridor was eerily quiet, which T’lana knew was logically a good thing, it allowed them a greater chance of escape. However on another level, she had to admit that it also un-nerved her slightly, it was surely too much to hope that the Klingon did not have them under some kind of observation. Unless of course there were not as many Klingons stationed here as what they suspected. To her knowledge, no one had yet been able to identify the extent numbers, whereas the Hanson crew numbered close to one hundred and fifty, perhaps they would be able to overpower their captors.
Further down the corridor, T’lana spotted the cell that the reminder of the crew had been held in, as the cell was still empty, T’lana presumed that the crew were still at whatever new location the Klingons had taken them.
“Our first priority has to be to find the crew,” S’reena said from behind her, as she and Salek hurried to keep up.
“Normally I would agree with you Commander,” T’lana said, still walking forward, “but at the moment we have no idea what sort of situation the crew is in, we first need to establish our position, at the very least find more weapons.”
S’reena paused for a few moments apparently considering the answer; finally T’lana heard her grunt in agreement. It would highly foolish to try to take on all the guards with just one disrupter.
“Captain,” Salek said, speaking for the first time, “over there!”
T’lana looked to wear the Counselor was pointing, and raised an eyebrow in surprise when she realised what he had spotted. Further down the corridor there was a large hangerbay door, from the glass windows, they could all see that a Klingon Bird of Prey.
“If we can capture that ship,” S’reena said, standing next to T’lana.
“Then we can escape,” T’lana finished, “We need to find a weapons locker, and the reminder of the crew, quickly.”
“Agreed,” S’reena replied, “the question is, where do we start?”
“They led the crew in that direction,” T’lana said, indicating another corridor turning off towards the right, “Let’s start there.”
“Works for me,” S’reena grunted, as she hobbled back over to Salek for support. T’lana resumed her position in the front, and led the other to down the corridor, hoping that they could accomplice there tasks before it was too late.
OOC:
Okays, a slight change in my plan, we are going to escape from the prisons ourselves so that we can ensure that the Cadet’s graduate in time. I have promised the Personnel Officer I would have them graduated and ready for assignment this week lol.
The general plan is to capture the Bird of Prey; I don’t mind how we do it, or what happens.

Methos stood near the entrance to the mine and noticed that there were a few birds flying in the sky. He walked over to the force field control device and said, "Alright people, prepare yourselves for a little pressure change." He tapped a few commands into the console and the field disappeared. There was a noticeable change in the amount of oxygen in the air, but everyone was still alive and breathing.
He walked over to Daya and suggested that they take a small group of people and explore the immediate area. Daya agreed and they set off with 2 Marines and 2 Security officers. As they came over the top of a nearby hill, Methos saw a Klingon Bird of Prey.
"Daya, would you look at that? A Bird of Prey and it looks like it is still operational," Methos said.
He looked down towards the ground and saw that the Klingons did not take his commbadge. He quickly tapped it and said,
=/\=Col. Methos to anyone who can hear me.=/\=
The reply came almost immediately and was a little distorted, but Methos could tell it was Captain T’lana.
=/\=Yes, Col. I can hear you. Report.=/\=
=/\=Shortly after the Kilingons took us into the Mine, all but two disappeared back to the surface. Commander Daya and I took those two out and a small group of Marines and Security Officers headed to the surface, but stayed inside the cave. I noticed that there were some birds flying and decided to open the force field. Then a total of 6 of us left the cave to explore. We found a Bird of Prey and then I tried to contact anyone.=/\=
<T'lana>
=/\=Yes, Ma'am. Right now we are on a hill approx. 50 meters from the Bird of Prey. I am going to send a couple of runners to get the rest of the Crew, while the rest of us wait for your arrival. Methos, Out=/\=
Methos pointed to a marine and security officer, "You two go back to the cave and get the rest of the crew."
They both nodded and ran off.
~~~~~~~~~~A short while later in the cave~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Commander Brelev, Col. Methos made contact with the Captain and sent us down here to get the rest of the Crew," Sgt. Taylor said gasping for air.
"Okay cadets, im going to get this show on the road, and you hear me, i will not tolerate anyone to fall behind me, while this situation is grave it is imperative that i assure the success of all of you and prove to our commanders that the cadet squad can handle any job thrown at its mercy. So i want you all to stand up, even if you injured work together and we will proceed to the end of that tunnel so as a team we can all get out of this mess. Cadet Tarapik i want you to keep at the ready, stand in front of the team and provide cover, Cadet Mallen, i want your medical expertise put to the test, we have injured people who need help and people to get to safety." Cadet halthor gave the commands like he took upon himself to act as a natural leader in this instance as he felt like he could perform well in his duties.
Looking over at the cadet who had aimed the phaser at Konal Monto, Cadet halthor immediately approached the cadet and told him to drop the phaser and holster the weapon. But the cadet was ready to fire without recognition. "Drop the weapon cadet or i will have to use appropriate measures on you to take care of what you are perhaps going to do shamelessly." Cadet Halthor was about to knock the living daylights out of the cadet, but then he felt sorry and was not going to do what he originally had planed. "Thats better cadets, now hand that weapon over to the commanding officer in charge of this group while we head out towards the entrance of that cave" The cadet handed the weapon over and relinquished himself.
"Doctor Brelev we are heading to the surface with Lt. Commander Daya and Lt. Colonel Methos. I believe it is our only method of solving this catastrophy once and for all." Cadet halthor mentioned to doctor brelev before proceeding to the entrance of the tunnel. Before heading out he assured doctor brelev would be safe would the cadet that had almost endangered Konal Monto, and he was sure that she would be safe with him and some of the party that had stayed behind to help doctor brelev. Cadet halthor gave a reaffirming nod and if anything was going to happen he would sure make his trip back to save her and bring her with the other partners alongside to safety.
After giving brelev some reassurence cadet halthor and his team proceeded through the cave and found that T'lana, Salek and Commander Hope were badly injured, so they all proceeded to go help in the struggle the group was having, as they proceeded they could see that Commander Hope had been armed and it was going to help in the case klingons were to show along there path. "Well it looks like T'lana has a better approach to this whole thing, so we'd be best to go along with the captains orders." Cadet Halthor mentioned with his tendrils held up high and body sternly in fashion with his response.
"Thats sounds like the best plan we have right now, lets get on with it." Cadet Halthor looked over at Captain T'lana and agreed with her plan of exercise of and knowing of the klingon bird of prey it was even better knowing that it would get them off this planet. Looking over at Lt. Col. methos and daya, they both were at ready to be able to take care of the ship. Likewise they had also sent a sgt down to go help doctor brelev to get her and the team that was with her to safety. After being rescued by the two members sent down to help everyone, the team was assembled and the plan would take action.
"Thank andoria you have done this for us. We are at your discretion, If you need us to take care of any klingon opposers aboard that ship, the more the merrier." Cadet Halthor with his tendrils pointing at the commanders as they made there careful plan, was ready to help and if need be risk his life to protect all of the team in order to accomplish the mission.
OOC: I am very sorry this has taken too long for me to actually get the clue as to what has been happening. I cant apologize because i know it was shameful for keeping this from going on. As a cadet making a transition from cadet to officer it is better to leave the past behind to, and to really concentrate on what is more important. I feel that all i can do is owe you guys that much and say that i am sorry for the lack thereof. Now i hope that this post has measured up to those of you who want this story to continue and i want to continue working as a team and i will not let you down.
Cadet, you have been consistantly one of the most active Cadets this mission, and probably the top of the class. You have nothing to apologise for, if anything we should be thanking you! It's been a pleasure having you on the Hanson with us.
Once they had met up with their crew, who surprisingly were in reasonable good spirits, and reasonably well armed, S'reena handed Salek over to Cadets Mallen and Warrick, then hobbled back over to T'lana and Brelev. She felt an arm slipping around her waist and glanced over to see Jason smiling down on her as he supported her. She cast a rather painful grin back as she tried to hear what was going on now.
"Are we taking that bird of prey?" she querried, then received nods as answer. She noticed their Andorian cadet was quite ready to move and pull the garbage from the barely spaceworthy vessel.
S'reena tapped Brelev on her shoulder. "Commander, as neither Captain T'Lana nor I are in any condition to command this vessel, I suggest you remain in command until we transfer to a Federation vessel." She ignored the glare T'Lana cast her, knowing she was correct. The Vulcan had been behaving rather irrationally, and they couldn't depend on an irrational Vulcan commanding a ship she was unfamiliar with. And she herself was very clearly not in any shape to take command.
"Oh and doctor....have you got any painkillers on you? My ribs are near to killing me." Her face contorted in pain as she moved gingerly, so not to jostle her broken ribs too much. She feared the jagged edge of the broken bones would soon penetrate the pleura if she moved too much and she couldn't afford to lose consciousness right now. The strain was making her feel light-headed, but the adrenalin coursing through her veins kept her going for now.
"Let's take that vessel!"
Not much later, the bodies of the unconscious Klingons were piled up outside the vessel, and the crew was slowly filing in, finding a place to stay on the vessel as long as it was out of the way of the command crew. "Brelev, the vessel is yours. How are you going to name him?" S'reena smiled sheepishly. "May I recommend Liberation?"
Despite herself, Kiral smiled as she exited the mines and breathed fresh air again. She knew she hadn't been down there that long, but between the ship and the caverns, it had been too long since she had breathed real air. She, like everyone else, was delighted to notice the Bird of Prey. The beautiful ship was practically begging them to rescue it from the Klingons, and Kiral knew that the stroke of luck would not be wasted.
Commander Hope left Salek with her and Cadet Warrick. Warrick performed most of the treatment, having more experience, but Mallen helped out whenever she could. Studying biology had given her a basic medical education, but only basic.
Moments later, they began their assault on the Klingon vessel. When their patient was well enough to be left alone with Warrick and other medical staff, Kiral rejoined the rest of the crew and fully engaged herself in the firefight. The ferocity with which she wielded her weapon (set to stun, of course) surprised even her.
The battle for the Bird of Prey was over surprisingly quickly. Kiral helped move the unconscious Klingon bodies outside, then boarded, taking care to stay out of the way of the command crew. The excitement of the day suddenly caught up to her, and she felt the overwhelming urge to lay down in her now nonexistent quarters and take a nap. But, of course, that could wait until later. Figuring she'd make herself useful, she made her way down the the Klingon science labs, just in case she was needed.
"Brelev, the vessel is yours. How are you going to name him?" S'reena smiled sheepishly. "May I recommend Liberation?"
Brelev's train of thought had been on the blood stains still marking a nearby consul. The fight for the ship had been easier then she'd expected. If a full complement had been on board, the Hanson crew would have been doomed. Throughout the fight she had kept to the back, she had a decent enough shot for a doctor, and could defend herself weaponless. But she was a doctor, and the idea of shedding blood never sat well with her. Just looking at the klingon blood marking the consul made her heart quench.
Brelev looked over the classic klingon bridge and smiled thoughtfully. "I believe that most vessels are spoken of in the feminine form Commander. Although I am certain this vessel has a Klingon name, Liberation is very fitting so that's what we will go with." She took the seat in the bridge's center. It was not very comfortable, and she felt like the foreigner in it. She rarely sat in the center chair on the Hanson, and this was not even a Federation ship. "Crystal, can you pilot this thing?"
<Tag Crystal>
Brelev nodded "Alright, let's get this thing off the ground. If you know how to and are physically able to, take a station. I want weapons primed and see if we can figure out the cloak. I suspect we may have visitors soon."
<Tag All>
She looked around the bridge once more. "We are going to have a lot of explaining to do when we arrive back at the station in this."
Once again playing nanny to Commander S'reena's children, Konal rounded them up in preparation to board the Bird of Prey. It was a lot larger on the ground than on a viewscreen. Konal accidentally gave a vengeful kick to one of the unconscious Klingons on the way bye. She said something, seemingly angry, under her breath but nobody could make out what was muttered.
Michael took the children to the living quarters. Perhaps "barracks" would be a better word. Either way, the children were forced to either find content with the lack of visual stimuli, or complain. They chose to do the latter, but Konal felt her expertise were better spent on the bridge, and not tending children. She politely excused herself, and Michael, being stuck with a room full of discontents, thanked her for her help.
"It was my pleasure." Konal responded.
"I suggest you all take a seat along the bulkhead over there." Konal pointed to the back corner of the room. "The inertial dampers aboard a Klingon ship do not have the same resolution as a federation vessel." Konal was drawing from her previous experiences aboard a Klingon ship... experiences she was barely willing to revisit in her own mind, let along share with new shipmates.
Konal left the room only to run into Cadet Mallen. Kiral was walking very slowly, but deliberately, looking at each doorway. Konal asked her where she was going, and gave a small smirk when she got an answer. The naivety of the Cadet was mellowing toward the tenseness Konal had been experiencing since the start of her trip off of the starbase.
"Well Cadet, it's going to be hard to find a science bay on this ship.. Klingon science.. well, let's just say that the waste regeneration units are the closest thing that the Klingons have to what you are looking for."
The Cadet looked embarrassed, but Konal ensured her that there was nothing to be upset about. The only reason she had known this was that she, too, was going to make the same mistake. Luckily, Commander Hope informed her of the impossibility of completing such a journey.
"I think we would be best suited on the bridge, Cadet."
OCC: Don't worry Bro, I'll help you out.
I.C: Methos and Daya took their 'stations' on the bridge. Daya was working on getting weapons opperational, while Methos was working to figure out the cloaking device. He understood the written language a little and was able to use a little logic to figure out how to turn the cloak on. Shortly before Commander Brelev ordered the engines on and to take off, both Methos and Daya reported that they were ready.
<Brelev>
"Aye, ma'am. Cloaking Device is operational and is now on-line," Methos said as he pushed the buttons to turn on the device. The lights all around the ship dimmed as the cloak engaged.
Brelev took a deep breath. "Crystal, put us into orbit and lay in a course for Federation space. Once the course is in jump to warp, fastest speed possible." Brelev directed. "Methos, keep an eye on our clock, Daya keep a hand on those tactical controls."
The ship rose into the sky of the prison planet and headed to-wards space. Once in orbit there was a small fuss about the fastest route to Federation space, which was soon settled. Brelev felt the familiar tug of warp, they where going home.
"Mame, I am detecting Klingon vessels on an intercept course." Methos reported. "Estimated time of arrival, 7 minutes."
Brelev furrowed her brow. "How can they detect us?"
"Ion trail perhaps, or there is a tracking beacon on the ship." one of the cadets offered.
"They are hailing." Methos reported.
=X= This is Captain Olog of the H'gath, identify yourself=X=
Brelev swore in Denobulan, they had no klingons in their company to answer the hail. "Tell them we are experiencing trouble with our comm system, that should buy us some time." she stood up and looked around the bridge ."How much further till we are in Federation space?"
T’lana raised a sharp eyebrow at S’reena’s insistence that Brelev assume command. While T’lana agreed entirely that S’reena was unfit for command, regardless to her present condition, she did not agree the same was true for herself.
However, before she could object, S’reena had already hurried her off from the bridge, and was taking her to what apparently passed for a sickbay on this Klingon death trap.
“What do you think you are doing?” T’lana demanded, “I am the commanding officer.”
“No, you were the commanding officer of the Hanson,” S’reena said coldly, “and you lost that ship.”
T’lana raised both eyebrows at that comment, but before she could rebut the First Officer, a medic had approached her, and was insisting she allow herself to be examined.
“Fine,” T’lana said in an icy tone, consenting to the examination. Before she left to go behind the privacy screens, she turned to S’reena one more time.
“Starfleet Command will hear about this you know.”
“Oh yes, they most certainly will,” S’reena replied in an equally cold tone.
S'reena left T'Lana behind in the make-shift sickbay and staggered back to the bridge. Her injuries were made painfully clear to her when she jarred her shoulder against one of the sliding doors that didn't open properly. "Bloody piece of space-junk," she swore, her Australian accent all the more evident because she was both annoyed and extremely exhausted.
When she finally did reach the bridge, she swore under her breath again as she collapsed in one of the vacant and rather uncomfortable chairs. "No decent seating either!" She listened to the discussion that was presently going on, then waved to get Brelev's attention.
"They are bound to be able to track their own ships," she answered, "would be rather bad if you can't home in on your own ships while they're cloaked wouldn't it?" She looked thoughtful on how to respond to the hail.
Tiny beads of sweat were forming on her forehead, matting her hair against her face. She was truly exhausted and running on final reserves and sheer force of will now. "We must answer in Klingon, can't we tie in the UT? We're a military vessel on our way to respond to a call of war. Klingons were attacked and now we respond to fight. However this ship is old and obsolete, communications are mostly malfunctioning." She gave Brelev a painful smile. "How does that sound?"
Tarapik kept looking at the klingon guards that were moving towards him, with expressions on their faces that definitely didn’t meant that they just want to tickle him. The tactical properties of the situation weren’t promising to the Vulcan. Suddenly a blue storm came over the guards. It was cadet Halthor that was coming to the rescue, with illogical tactics, as always. Nevertheless, he gave Tarapik the necessary time to make a counter-attack. He threw himself to the nearest with his shoulder and kicked him in the head, grabbing his disruptor and setting it to stun in the air. Then the Vulcan quickly took three short shots making three of the guards fall. Two more shots and two guards less. Tarapik looked at the ball of dust the fighting officers was, and was surprised to se that there was only one klingon left to fight Vander Halthor. The rest were rolling about around the Andorian. One more shot and they were all gone. “Although you attacked without any logic in your actions, I should confess that you fought well.” – Tarapik said to his Andorian comrade. And the group carried on running. Suddenly Tarapik felt someone behind the corner. He had gained that instinct during training days at the Academy. “Tactical manovre Beta 3-7-1” – he shouted, forgetting that he’s the only marine, flattished behind the corner and fell on his stomach, firing the disruptor. "Drop the weapon cadet or i will have to use appropriate measures on you to take care of what you are perhaps going to do shamelessly." cadet Halthor screamed. Tarapik stopped firing, realizing his mistake. “I am sorry, lieutenant.” – he said – “I thought you were foes.” --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Later, as the crew was now reunited, they started walking towards the Bird of Prey. As they took over the ship and entered the bridge, Tarapik took the damage control station. He didn’t know klingon, but he had studied about klingon systems at Starfleet Academy. “The ship is undamaged, and is ready for duty, sirs” – he reported after he made the check. Soon they were in space and at Warp. A klingon ship was reported following them. Tarapik raised his eyebrow surprised. The cloak was on. Apparently there was tracking bacon on the ship. =^= This is Captain Olog of the H'gath, identify yourself=^= - sounded through the intercom. Brelev nodded. "Ideas anyone?" "We must answer in Klingon, can't we tie in the UT? We're a military vessel on our way to respond to a call of war. Klingons were attacked and now we respond to fight. However this ship is old and obsolete, communications are mostly malfunctioning." commander Hope gave Brelev a painful smile. "How does that sound?" “Logic dictates they will not believe us – our klingon probably isn’t at it’s best, and they would have got that message too. I suggest we engage at reverse warp 1 for…” – Tarapk said, making some measurements on his console – “… 0.48 seconds, then disengage and open fire when we are behind them.” <tag anyone on bridge>
Brelev thought about the cadet's suggestion. "Engaging in a firefight is risky, we are already risking war over this. Cadet, your idea will be plan B. Methos, try to link the UT through the translator. Tell then that we are..." she looked around frantically for the name of the ship "The Ghresh, that we are a military vessel responding to an act of war. This ship was pulled out of dock, it is old and has not been upgraded so our communications system are out of date." Brelev thought about that for a moment. "Try to make it sound more klingon then that and add in some static to cover any errors in the UT."
"Alright, Crystal I want you to give us the best speed possible. Methos, if they ask why we have increased our speed, it is because we do not want to miss the fight. Daya, prepare our weapons in case they don't bite." Brelev sat down in her chair, feeling suitably nervous.
"Mame, they are asking us why we are heading in this direction, when the firefight against Star Fleet is no where near those coordinates." Methos explained.
"Fire fight...." Brelev furrowed her brow, she did not like the sounds of that. "We have been given an order and are following it through. The specific details of our assignment cannot be shared. Daya, Crystal, get ready for plan B."
"They are pulling away." One cadet reported.
The entire bridge breathed a sigh of relief, having to go against a Bird of Prey in a ship they where unfamiliar with was not Brelev's idea of a good time. "Crystal, what is our ATA?"
Konal stood with Cadet Mallen out of the way on the bridge. Without a science station present, she did not know where her services would be needed. Not wanting to look inexperienced in front of the cadet, she found Brelev, who was barking orders to the crew. Perhaps barking was too harsh... after all, the doctor was a much more pleasant Captain than the female captain she had seen earlier.
Cadet Mallen was a step ahead of Konal. They took their position in time for the confrontation with the other Klingon vessel.
"You got it Commander," Methos said as he began punching buttons. Shortly thereafter, Methos transmitted a message, using the Basic Klingon he learned at the Marine Corps Basic Training.
"Commander, Just before they left they did send us where the firefight is. However, my Klingon is a little rusty, so I don't know where exactly it is. If anyone knows some Klingon, your more than welcome to look at it," Methos said.
"I'm not sure we need to be worrying about a fire fight in this ship, especially with our limited knowledge, we just need to get to StarFleet space and get out of here, we can pass on the coordinates to another ship when we get there" Daya said as he leaned over his console, waiting for a reply
Brelev turned to see Konal enter, she gave the older women a curt nod. "Your Klingon must have past Major, they do appear to be heading away."
"Mame, they may be moving into a better position to attack." Methos warned.
"Then we will take this opportunity to slip away. Crystal, full speed to the Federation border." Brelev directed. She felt the familiar tug of warp as the young women at the helm followed her orders.
"We've passed the border, there is no sign of the Klingon vessel." Methos reported.
"Excellent. Plot a course for the Conquerer, we have a graduation to hold." Brelev let a smile slip onto her face as she at back down in the poorly made chair. ----------------------
The trip back to the station had been uneventful apart from a few incidents caused by unfamiliarity to the vessel. The resulting wounds where minor and easily repaired. The cloak had allowed them to avoid other vessels, which saved them the trouble of explaining why they where in a BoP.
Of course, to dock with the Conquerer they needed to decloak. That had been rather entertaining. Thankfully someone on the Star Base thought of opening a comm before firing. The Hanson crew had been vacated extremely fast and the senior officers where immediately debriefed while the cadets got ready for the ceremony.
(O.O.C and that's all folks, sorry to rush things, but your new ships are jumping to have you on board and your characters can't be in several places at once)
