Jamie looks around and finds someone has the ability to translate, which amazes him. He had no idea this would occur, and decides to head away from all the eyes to find out where they have the cloaking device hidden. He finds it in no time, and decides they shouldn't be able to hide from their enemies so easily. He decides to damage it, so they can't find a way to use it again. He takes several of the components out smashing a very small one. When he is done he puts them all back, but in the wrong order, all except the broken piece, which he takes with him hiding it in an inside pocket he created for himself. The pocket is so well hidden that no one would be able to find it. He hides one section of the broken part under a pannel no one is working with, in fact no one is even in this sector of the ship yet, and he wonders why not. He continues on, but finds he has eyes on him now, and looks up to find an engineer looking at him. He walks over to a panel to get more work done, but finds he needs to have it translated. He takes out a padd and writes a few words down heading for someone who can translate.
Meanwhile, Joan looks around the new station, which is now translated to some extent, and finds it isn't the worst looking station around. She runs a few scans on the ship to see what is working, and decides to keep herself busy until she hears anything otherwise. "Sir, we have just come out of cloak." She hears from someone nearby.
OOC: Don't fix the cloaking devise too quickly.

While Daya was working on the weapons systems, he heard the familiar beeping of a failing system coming from the console he was working on. " no.....this isn't good, nonononononono!!!!! dammit!" He slammed his fist down against the console, and then looked at Akleth "Sir, we just lost cloaking."
Without hesitation, Daya went back to work, replugging wires, and stripping a few more. He ended up prying the console apart, just so he could get at more wires, by the time he found any useful wires, the entire console was spread around on the ground behind him.
"i hate this thing," he said in a monotonously voice " i really hate this thing" while standing up to stretch his legs out a bit, he stepped on a smooth piece of the console.
The slim under the console part caused Daya to slip, and land on his back, hitting the side of his head against the console box itself. He had enough time to spit out the words" i really, really hate this thing" before he lost consciousness and his body went limp.
<Tag bridge crew>
Being knocked out, Daya dreamed of his past once more. He remembered playing games with his two older brothers. Daya had especially liked to play chess, the old way. He and his brothers were good at the game, and spent many hours playing it.
The thought of how he was dreaming didn't seem to cross his mind at all while he played the last game of chess of his life. The next day, both his brothers went off to join the armed forces of the planet. He never saw either one of them again. He received a few letters from them, but soon they drifted apart, all of them.
4 years later, he joined the Federation, having hopes that his brothers would get the chance to see him in his uniform one day. His father had told him that he was sure his brother's were proud of him, and that his father had sent them both a letter informing them of what he did.

Richard Parson pressed another key on the power distribution console, and heard the characteristic shudder of a ship coming out of cloak. "Damn," he said alound, looking down at his injured Lieutenant, "I think I just killed the cloak. The whole EPS conduit has been locked out...AGAIN. I'm sorry sir, I just don't think I can do this without you."
The Lieutenant cringed with pain again, but looked up at the cadet sternly. "Come on, Cadet. You CAN do this. Just take it one step at a time. Back track a little. And make sure you take note of everything...no detail is too small. If you can think outside the norm...the abnormal problems will pressent there own solutions."
Cadet Parson rolled the words of Lieutenant Bates inside his head for a few moments, and stared again at his Klingon console. He shifted again, and considered. "Perhaps...we're going at this wrong. The EPS systems are the issue, that's a given. They're all working on their own protocol, their own settings. If our power console here only lets me change the values, maybe the computer's power distribution system is the issue. I'll be in the core."
And with that, Parson was up the ladder to the computer core room. Bates sat, and cringed in his silent privacy. A few minutes later, and Parson was back down, smilling. "That should be it. The computer is running an auto recalibration protocol, the Klingon's use it to quickly regain power harmonics during battle, to allow there cloak to be more effective. Main power will be restored in about 5 minutes, and hopefully cloak and weapons will be online as well. Also, the flow regulators have been fixed."
The Lieutenant smiled, "Abnormal problems, Cadet."

Kirk was squatting in the cramped life support main control unit's room when he felt the ship shutter as it the cloak come offline.
"We were cloaked?" Kirk asked looking towards Harash-Kyat who was trying hard to move about in the cramped quarters. He did not respond he was too busy trying to get himself comfortable.
the Klingons must have sent the biggest and fattest of their engineers to repair this stuff. Kirk thought. It does not make any sense that any normal size Klingon would want to come down here. Maybe it was just that, nobody wanted to come down here to repair anything, it was either do or die. The ship either holds up or explodes. How foolish.
The room was square in design with red grated metal all around the room. There was a slight drop from the access door to the floor of the room, about 2 feet. Once in the room you could only move in a circle around the life support unit itself. It was not the best designed room in the ship, if the Klingons could have just sealed off the life support system they probably would have.
Remembering he had brought along the PADD with him he pulled it out and checked out the PADD itself thing to to look for a socket to connect transmission cords to. He found two ports on the very bottom of the PADD, there was no doubt in his mind that he had found what he was looking for. Now he needed to find the input cord or at least input ports on the life support system.
Scanning the life support system he could not find any cords, but Kirk spotted a few ports that could be use as data ports. Kirk was suddenly stopped in his tracks by the little voices inside his head, his Nano-machines were talking to him again. Caution, CO2 levels now entering condition yellow.
Kirk turned to Commander Harash-Kyat with an alarmed look on his face. "Commander we are running out of air and faster than we had originally thought. The hard work everybody is doing is eating away our oxygen supply and causing the CO2 levels to climb drastically."
Commander Harash-Kyat looked down where Kirk has just been looking, he was looking for a gauge or some sort of tell-tale signs as proof that what Kirk has just said was indeed true.
"How do you know that Cadet?" Harash-Kyat said confused.
"My Nano-machines have been sampling the air since we got on board and discovered the problem with life support. They just issued me a warning. We need to work faster!"
Kirk continued to walk around the life support unit and spotted some loose wires that were sticking out of the top of the unit. They appeared to not be important since they looked as if they had not been connected in about a hundred years. Grabbing a handful of the broken wires Kirk tugged them from the top of the unit and snapping them into two equal length pieces about 6 inches long each.
"Hold these please Commander, and please don't be afraid."
"Afraid of what?" Harash-Kyat said looking at Kirk with a little bit of dread as to what is to come.
"I need to check to see if these wires have continuity or not."
Kirk rolled up his right sleeve to just under his elbow. Taking two deep breaths Kirk's face wrinkled with pain as two assimilation nodes tore out of the top of his right hand. The action took Harash-Kyat by surprise, he was indeed afraid of what would happen if Kirk stabbed him with those things. Kirk held his hand in the air close to the wires and one node attached itself to each side of the wire. They let go and grabbed the second wire that Harash-Kyat was holding, again they let go in a matter of seconds. Looking satisfied Kirk retracted the nodes back into his arm. Once they were back inside of his hand Kirk rubbed the top of his hand for a few moments and the open wound was now gone.
"These wires are OK to use." Kirk said casually.
Squatting down Kirk found plugged the wires into the bottom of the PADD and into the life support unit, both the PADD and the unit lite up bright, the connection had worked.
"Good, this is good." Kirk said. "Commander, since you are on that side of the unit would you please check the power to life support again, and try and amplify the power to match the amount of crew members on board? I am going to finish downloading the life support program onto this pad and get our stand alone system functioning."

Mike Bates sat on the floor, considering what to do next. A tone went off on the console above him. "What is that, Cadet?" he asked to the knees of Parson, who was standing next to him.
"I don't know, Lieutenant. It's a transmission, apparently coming from the Raven, but it doesn't make any sense. It's just single, long tone, in the low range of human hearing," Parson reported in puzzlement.
Surprised and suspicious, Mike struggled to lift himself off the floor. "Help me up, Cadet," he said as he force himself up.
Parson leaned down, and lifted him up. "Do you know what it is, sir?"
Bates supporting himself on the console with his good hand, looking at the frequency of the tone. "Yes, indeed I do. This is a secret signal used among engineers. It means that Commander Bates is alright. You see, the frequency corresponds with one of the frequencies that's washed out by engine noise. He chose that frequency because the Romulans wouldn't have been able to detect among the background noise."
A warning tone went off on another panel, and some readouts dropped. "Looks like the cloak just died again," Bates noted forlornly. But just as that display was dying, the one before him lit up. "Looks like that recalibration subroutine is taking up," he said, leaning on the Cadet to free his good hand.
"Life support, internal sensors....but nothing else. Only the most basic systems to a Klingon ship. Remember how we didn't manage to fix the power distribution net yet? It being out of whack is hindering power to other systems," Bates said, looking around. "But let's see what we can find out about the cloak."
He spotted a door in the corner. "Over there. The cloak must be through there. It'd have to be near the engine, give the amount of power it takes. A ship this old wouldn't have had a very power-efficient cloak. Help me over."
Parson pulled Mike's good arm over his shoulder, and together they worked their way over to the door. In a wince of pain, Mike tapped the control, opening the door. Inside was a small room, including another door, and a large exposed set of circuitry.
"Here we are," he said, and they worked their way over. He looked at the circuitry. "Well I can see why this isn't working."
"Why is that sir?" Parson said, while supporting Mike, yet staring cluelessly at the circuits.
Mike reached up with his bad arm, and pulled out a cylindrical piece of the circuitry. "Look at this piece, and its socket. The piece is round; the port is rectangular. I suspect many of these pieces have been switched into the wrong place," he said, then noticed an empty socket. "And theres a small piece missing entirely as well."
Mike slipped out from under Parson's shoulder, and sat and leaned against the opposite wall a meter or so away. "See what you can do about getting that panel back in proper order, then we'll start figuring out what to do on that missing piece."
(OOC: For those around Daya, please note you must first tell Doctor Black he's injured, or bring him to Sickbay. A concussion, which he probably has, that knocks someone out, causes a brief period of unconsciousness, and confusion and memory-loss concerning the event once they wake up. These facts/symptoms may be helpful to you in writing what happens to him.)

Harash-kyat sat there frozen. The Grazerite fight or flight mechanism was particularly strong. They were herd creatures and tended to go with the flow. Fight never came into it. For a Grazerite two things kept them alive, flight freezing. Harash-kyat was firmly in the latter. Like a rabbit caught in the headlights the grazerite was frozen beyond his own ability to pull out of it. Slowly the realisation dawned, the odd smell. The very methodical and some may say cold way in which the cadet worked. He had thought the cadets single mindedness came from efficiency but in fact it was born from total efficiency, that born of the hive mind, the many making the single powerfull overmind. Kirk continued almost oblivious, his platitudes about not being afraid fell on deaf ears, all Harash-kyat could here was the rusing of blood though his veins and the thumping of his own heart. All four of his stomachs were churning before conscious control returned common sense to the hapless instructor. "I...I...I m...m fine" he finally managed to stammer, "Just a bit of a...shock." Harash-kyat cursed himself for not checking the cadets pesonnel dossier earlier, but then things had been hectic and then there had been their kidnap. He should have guessed by kirks aroma. Ithad always had a hint of the artificial about it. Finally the full rationalisation that Starfleet would not allow a borg in the service kicked in. The cadet was fine, in fact the cadet was somebody to be pitied, how long had he been in the collective, from birth? childhood? Days? months? even years? "The console?" Kirk prompted Harash-kyat looked up and away from the assimilation tubules, "Huh? oh yeah" he turned round to look at the console, with a moment to focus and then began to equalise the life support requirements, "That should do us. Failing any further damage I reckon we have life support stabilised." "Excellent" kirk beamed and brandished the PADD, "I ve linked the computer to this PaDD we can use it to monitor it from where ever we are." "Well done Cadet. Now lets got out of here and back on to the corridor" The two men wriggled their way out of the jeffries tube and back into the engineering deck. "So whats next?" Kirk asked, Harash-kyat was less eager and preferred to tred more cautiously, "Operations is a wide discipline. Now we have Life support, Parsons and Bates can probably cope with the rest of the repairs." "Yeah? Then what do we do?" "We have other matters to attend. We need to search the ship deck by deck, room by room. We'll need the rest of the Ops staff for that" "What are we looking for?" "Anything and everything, we need to inventory weapons, food, water, working replicators, find suitable quarters to berth us off duty." "I hadnt thought of all of them, I just guessed we wouldnt be aboard for very long." "That" Harash-kyat said with a raised arm "That is up to Commander Savali. The prudent course would be to return to Conqueror and despatch a ship to recover the hanson. Humans however are rarely so clear headed and I expect us to try and retake the Hanson ourselves, for that we need to know what resources we have. Additionally I believe we will need to devise a crew roster, so far we have all been working flat out. That cannot last or we will all collapse from exhaustion."
<TAG Kirk>
"Indeed lets get to it. And perhaps as we go you could explain your borg nature?"
OFF: No not at all, simming is all about having inspiration and giving it a shot, Your here to learn and have fun I can adapt to the storyline, besides its an interesting diversion, something you can definietly develop.

Cadet Parson moved around the cloak, surveying the damage. "I agree lieutenant. Everytime the computer tries to reinitialize the power distribution protocols, the cloak tries to engage, dies, and brings the whole network down with it. I figure some of these parts of are from Romulan cloak technology."
"Why do you say that cadet?"
"Well, the Klingons shared tehcnology with the Romulans, and vice versa. Cloak for the Klingons, battlecruisers for the Romulans. With the Klingon's research and improvments in the cloak, the design may have changed, like with this square peg in a round hole...but it seems like the function remained similar enough that the two were interchangable."
The cadet went over to the other door in the cloak room, and found it filled with spare parts. He picked up a cylindrical circuit bank, and began pulling it apart. "I figured as much...the isolinear chips in the original unit have been overloaded, so they just replaced the whole unit with a contemporary Romulan part."
The cadet removed the Romulan isolinear bank from the cloak, and did the same. He removed a power transfer relay and then secured it in the used Klingon part. He then began securing it in place. "That should do it for the power relay module. Problem is, I think it blew because of this missing part. Far as I can tell, it's the photon emission control."
"See if there's a simialar unit in that storage room...maybe you can replace any of its damages circuitry with the other spare parts."
The Cadet did as ordered, and 15 minutes later, he had an aceptable part. "Without a tricorder, I'm working blind. This is about as jury rigged as they come," the cadet said, "Now let's cross our fingers." Parson slid the piece into the cloak, and then activated the power controls on the cloak's console. The warm hum of power began flowing through the cloak's relays, and Parson seemed pleased with the work. "That should do it sir. I don't know if the cloak will work, or for how long, but the computer will be able to restore main power and power harmonics within the hour. If all goes as planned, we should have at least 95% power effiency, which will give us nearly full warp capability, and a cloak that might actually fool the Hanson's sensors."
"Hopefully that'll be the only ship we need to fool. I'd really hate to come across a Ferengi salvage ship like this."
"Or the Romulans....sir." The Cadet began helping the Lieutenant to his feet, but with the words of late having been already spoken, Parson himself felt a bit unsure on his own.

Daya mind swam with mixed emotions and vague memories. One memory that seemed to break apart from the rest, was when he recieved word that his brother's would not be able to see him for years.
His parents had to sell their land and house, to pay for hospital bills for his older brother. He had been wounded during a suicide bombing, the bomb had taken his eye sight, and paralized him from the waist down. The docters were able to repair his vision, but he would never walk again.
His middle brother was stationed far away from the rest of his family, and they had no way of knowing where he was, last they knew, he still had 10 years before they would let him leave.
Daya had been sending as much money to his family as he could, he hoped he would one day be able to go back to earth, and visit his family once more, but he wasnt sure if that would ever happen, it would have to be a miracle for him to go home.

"I agree. I would say then we should head to bridge and check in there and pick up some other crew members to assist in the search."
Kirk smiled, he knew the topic was going to come up sooner or later, it always did and Kirk felt it was better to get it right out in the open.
"I was assimilated at the age of 16 while on my way to the Academy. I was aboard a transport that was taking 30 new Cadets to the Academy, we all ended up being assimilated. Only a select few people actually know there is a ranking system in the Collective, myself, Seven of Nine, Captain Picard, and anybody else who has been freed from the Collective. I, well i should say the drone was just about to be 'promoted' from a Combat Drone to a Engineering Drone."
Kirk looked over at Harash-Kyat who was listening with actual interest. Most times Kirk would be asked about this it was more out of sympathy, which meant they really did not care.
Kirk continued now knowing he had a interested listener, "I was rescued when when the Borg ship I was on attacked a convoy. I was beamed into the closest ship along with the other drones. A woman and a man both armed with phasers killed the two walking next to me, then something happened, something that saved my life, she recognized me. I don't know how but she did. The woman reset her phaser and fired at me. Everything went black. She was lucky because after I was hit the collective has a lock on her phaser frequency. The Borg ship then took what it wanted from convoy and left. That woman was my mother and after two years she had her son back, sort of." Kirk paused to take a breath.
"I had spent two years with the Borg and Star fleet medical found there were parts with in my body that could not be removed," Kirk said pointing at the large ocular implant that was fixed on the left side of his face. It covering his left eye brow wrapped around his temple and ended on his cheek bone, "I do have complete control over the nano machines that live and work with in my body. Star fleet Medical also found that since I was a Combat Drone so the nano machines in my body primarily work to keep my body in peak physical condition, my senses are all highly enhanced, and I am a lot stronger than I appear to be. Secondary functions were never programed, so I have to take it upon myself to learn new things to do with the nano machines. I would give it all up though, in a heart beat; just be 'human' again. Not labeled like I am now as 'human/Ex-Borg." Kirk said
Kirk did not tell him about the worst part, the sleepless nights, the dreams he would have of the faces he killed and or assimilated. Those were thoughts that Kirk did not even tell the counselors back on Earth. Those thoughts and images drove him to work hard, be a good man, and maybe one day he will be forgiven for the things he did.
Kirk and Harash-Kyat entered the bridge to find it a rather calm when compared to what it was like earlier in the day. Kirk smiled when he spotted Commander Akleth, for some odd reason Kirk found it fun to get a rise out of Klingons, but this time he did not get the drop on him like he did before, Akleth saw the two coming.
"Commander, we require a list of names and the area in which they are working for a duty roster myself and Cadet Kirk are putting together."
Commander Akleth handed over a PADD to Commander Harash-Kyat who Looked it over quickly and he handed it to Cadet Kirk to take a look at.
"Lets go find a working replicator." Harash-Kyat said leaving the bridge.

With Parson's assistance, Mike hobbled back into the Engine Room. It was still hard to do it, but with practice, walking was getting somewhat easier. He went over to the power systems station, checking the readouts. "Unfortunately, the ailing cloak wasn't the only reason the power distribution net was down it seems. Look," he said, moving over to the Master Systems Display, using consoles to support himself. "These red pulsing lines are what I'm guessing to be the power distribution. And as you can see, there's still something blocking it. The problem seems to start shortly after the power leaves the reactors. We have life support because that is rather near to us, but the internal sensors are all over the ship. Any ideas on what's causing all this, Cadet?" he asked, looking over at the bright young man. <Tag Parson> ------------------------Elsewhere-------------------------------- "But I promise you if she had nothing to do with it, no harm will come to her. But for now we must consider her as a traitor," Felix said, though Jason wasn't so happy with it. "Yes sir. I am indeed hoping she had nothing to do with it. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'll be in Sickbay," he said, heading back. As he neared Sickbay, a couple crewmembers came toward him supporting a barely-conscious Cadet. Jason wasn't sure, but he thought the man's name was Daya. "Doctor," one of the supporting crewmembers called to him. "He hit his head, and was unconscious until a few moments ago." "Bring him inside," Jason said, waving them in the door as he reached it. They carried him in, and Jason followed. Michael looked up from what he was doing, whatever it was. "What happened?" he asked, coming over. "Bump on the head, knocked him out. Possible concussion," he said, as they lifted him onto a bed. "Wha...Where am I?" Daya said, dazed. "You're in Sickbay, Cadet," Jason said. "Can you tell me what happened?" "Well um....I'm not sure. I don't remember. But I've got this splitting headache," he said, rubbing his forehead. Jason held up his thumb and first two fingers, in front of Daya's face. "How many do you see?" he asked. Daya squinted. "Three." "Follow my fingers," he said, and brought his first two fingers together and moved them back and forth across Daya's field of vision. Daya's eyes followed them back and forth. Jason lowered his hand. "Looks like you've got a concussion, Cadet. One strong enough to knock you out leaves you confused and you forget the accident that caused it. Your vision is slightly impaired at present, but time will correct that. You'll have that headache for a while, as there's nothing I can do for it. You may have trouble concentrating, and may feel drowsy on occasion. If you have any of these symptoms, come tell me immediately. You're free to lay here as long as you like, as it will give time for your head to clear." <Tag Daya> (OOC: I decided to go ahead and move along, so I wrote Daya as being brought to Sickbay. Daya's mind finally came back to him, as well as a massive head ache, he moaned in pain as he was supported by some of his crew mates. He could make out just barely where he was going, he wasnt sure the name of the place, or how he was getting there. When he arrived, he was propped up on a table. "Wha...Where am I?" Daya said, dazed. "You're in Sickbay, Cadet," Jason said. "Can you tell me what happened?" "Well um....I'm not sure. I don't remember. He had the vague memory of falling, that was all that came to him. After Dr. Black left the computer core room, Felix waited a few moments more before he left. There was nothing more he could do there; it was time to go to the bridge and check on the progress of the repairs and to see if Cmdr. McCormick got her sensors working. When he descended down to engineering he saw lt. Bates and cadet Parson working on a console near the master systems display.
"Lieutenant, cadet", he said when he approached them
"How are the repairs progressing", he asked
<Tag Cadet Parson>[/b]
"I see, I'll be on the bridge, report in if there are any new developments", he said to the cadet and the lt. before he left
While walking towards the bridge he encountered several crewmembers working on different systems and he stopped by each one of them to offer them some comfort end encouragement. After a longer walk he finally arrived to sickbay, which looked more like an old butcher shop then a sickbay he thought.
Although he had only seen Dr. Black a few moments ago he decided to stop by in case there were any more injuries. And he was right there was Cadet Daya laying on one of the beds in sickbay.
"Hello again, doctor", Felix said as he went over to him
"What happened to cadet Daya", he asked
"I see", he responded after Dr. Black told him what happened
"Well cadet, feeling any better", he asked him
<Tag Daya>[/b]
"I see, well I'm sure that a young man like you will recover in no time"; he smiled
"And please, feel free to take all the time you need to rest, thereβs no use of having you collapsing while you're repairing something.", Felix told him
<Tag Daya>[/b]
"I see, well then I will see you on the bridge when you're feeling better.", Felix said as he left sickbay
Well, all in all not many injuries, Felix thought. And that was just about the only good thing in this whole situation. Then he remembered his daughter again, and he knew there would be consequences to his suppressing his true feelings about the matter, the desire to blast all the Romulans out of the sky to hurt them even kill them yes kill them. But no he was not going to give in to those urges. He was not going to descend to their level. While the fight for dominance was fought in his mind between the urges of a father and those of a Starfleet officer, he arrived to the bridge.
When he arrived he saw officers and cadet running around taking consoles apart then again putting them back together... It was a real hornetβs nest he thought. After he quickly scanned the bridge he located Cmdr. Akleth and went over to him.
"I am back now, commander", he said to the Klingon
"Thank you for supervising all of the repairs while I was done in the engine room", he said
After he finished his small talk with the commander he turned to face that what he considered a primitive view screen. It still displayed empty space.
"All stations report in", he said calling out to the cadets and officers on the bridge
<Tag Cadet T'Brel,Cadet Nokomis>
He was glad to hear the cadets who were doing repairs on the bridge giving him the progress report rather then their instructors. Even tough the training mission was not what it was meant to be he still intended to finish training them. After the cadets delivered their progress reports he went over to the science station where Commander McCormick was doing her best to get the sensors working.
"Any luck in locating the Hanson yet", he asked her

Michael watched Black tend to Daya, and decided that there was a bit of a crowd in the Klingon sickbay. Quietly, he walked away, continuously feeling his feet slithering away on the slippery deck. Despite falling flat on his face a couple of times, he reached what was passing as bridge in one piece.
Just as he stepped on, he heard Commander Savali ask for all positions to report in. Waiting until Cadet Nokomis had delivered her report, he then stepped up to her.
"Cadet, we need to talk," Michael stared, "it has come to my attention that you've questioned my wife on her involvement in the Romulan spying issue, but you've never even approached me on the subject. Wouldn't it be sensible to ask me too, since I know her better than anyone else on the crew does?"
<nokomis>
Michael frowned. "So you believe she's guilty too then huh? Whatever happened to innocent until proven guilty? I tell you cadet, she's innocent. My wife would never spy for the Romulans, she would sooner die."

Joan's scans showed nothing out of the normal, but she didn't want to take a chance. She excuses herself from the bridge heading down to see how she can be of some service in another area. She sees an ensign moving off on his own, and follows him. She tries to be careful, but then looses him. She goes to round a corner she thought she saw him disappear behind only to find she is being confronted by him. She knows nothing of his strength, and goes down fighting. He makes sure no one can find her at the moment, and drags her off to his little area. He ties her up with some rope he has, and then continues on with his work not worrying about her as she is currently unconscious. He thinks about life support, but remembers he doesn't want to die right now, so he leaves it be. He sees several other systems he would rather take out at the moment. He first works on engines with the thought of disturbing transporters, turbo lifts, and weapons. He gets to work, knowing he doesn't have much time.

"Lets go find a working replicator." Harash-Kyat said leaving the bridge.
Kirk followed Harash-Kyat off the bridge with the crew roster in hand. Walking down another identical corridor Kirk and Harash-Kyat had already checked a few rooms when an unknown Ensign approached them walking rather quickly.
"Working hard Ensign?" Commander Harash-Kyat asked.
"Yes sir, very hard." the Ensign replied wiping the sweat from his brow as he walked on by.
Unknown to Kirk and Harash-Kyat this was the same Ensign who had just assaulted Lt. Commander McCormick. With out incident the two men went back to what they were doing. Walking down the corridor some more they approached one of two doors left to check for a working replicator.
"Lets go this way," kirk said walking through the door into a small dinning hall.
Harash-Kyat walked up to the replicated and sure enough they had found one replicator that was working. It figured that the last room they were going to check before heading back to the bridge would have had the working replicator. Sitting down kirk pulled out both the Life Support PADD and now Duty Roster PADD.
"Life Support still looking good."
"Good." Harash-Kyat replied to the Cadet as he stood up.
Walking over to the replicator Harash-Kyat ordered drinks for the both of them, Kirk was unsure what it was. It was dark red, and very thick. Harash-Kyat drank the thick drink down quick not giving it time to soak into his taste buds.
Kirk did not follow suit, instead he sipped at the drink and to his surprise it was not half bad. Harash-Kyat could tell the young Cadet was expecting something entirely different.
"Let me see that roster again." Harash-Kyat said.
Handing off the roster to him, Kirk watched as Harash-Kyat went up for a second round of the red slush drink.
"Lets get this worked out before we have to go repair another system. What do you say Cadet?"
"Sounds fine to me sir." Kirk said taking another slip of his drink.
Outside the dinning hall the mysterious Ensign had returned to check if Kirk and Harash-Kyat had found his prisoner. He was pleased they had not, and at the same time he was worried that they might stumble into the next room and find the helpless Lt. Commander. He listened to their conversation for a moment and came to the conclusion that these two gentlemen would be going right back to the bridge once they were done with their break. Feeling safe he check the condition of his prisoner once last time and went back to work.

"Tha.....thank you sir," Daya said, seeming to try to look at some point behind Jason. "How.....how did i get here?"
At this point, one of the crewmen that brought him in chose to speak for the first time since entering Sickbay. "You were standing up and slipped on something. You hit your head on a console. You had just enough time to say 'I really, really hate this thing' before losing consciousness. Valdez and I brought you here."
Jason turned to them. "And we both thank you for that. You may go now."
A few minutes later, Commander Savali walked into Sickbay, coming towards him. "Hello again, Doctor. What happened to Cadet Daya?" he asked.
"Welcome to Sickbay, Commander, if you can call it that. As for Daya, he slipped and hit his head on a console. He has a rather significant concussion, which I'll fully treat when we return to Raven," he said, trying to keep his stress, frustration and sadness from showing.
"I see," Savali responded, then asked Daya himself about how he was feeling.
While he was doing so, Jason meandered somewhat around Sickbay, stopping as he reached the now-covered bodies of Helena Cruz and her son. He couldnt stop thinking about the moment when her eyes closed and her body went limp. The subsequent injuries to the crew had been less severe, but as with the body, even little problems become daunting when the immune system is weakened.

T'Brel had been working on the helms station for as long as he could remember. Well not that long, but long enough. T'Brel by now was able to read the controls, much to his delight. Once Commander Gordon saw this he personally congraulated T'Brel.
"Thank you sir," T'Brel said thinking that the this basic accomplishment was not worth mentioning. By now he had also become used to the stench on the ship. The color that that the consoles gave, which was a Klingon red. T'Brel was so hard at work that he didn't even noticed that Commander Savilli had come in from engineering. T'Brel never heard him ask for reports. Thankfully Commander Gordon heard him, and gave T'Brel back to reality.
That little push made him realized that the Commander was waiting for the report.
"Sir, the engines are not at full power, but we can move for now, but not much. The most I can give you his half impulse power," T'Brel said as he re-read his status reports. The commander just nodded at the reports and walked towards Command McCormick. T'Brel then returned his attention back to his work at hand. Even though he could now read the basic information given to him, T'Brel knew that he was know where capable of totally taking advantage of the Raptor's qualities. It was disconcerning for him, because he felt that his piloting skills were above average. T'Brel at that moment came to realize that if we wanted to be succesful in Starfleet, he would have to apply himself not only to flying, but to everything else. Then all of a sudden his station starts beeping at him and T'Brel sees something on his sensors. He could not tell what it was, but hoped that it was the Hanson.
"Commander Gordon, what do you think that is?" T'Brel asked hoping that he could tell.

Harash-kyat sniffed the drink in disgust, "And thats edible?" "Seems okay to me" Kirk replied with a grin, "You humans, you ll eat and drink anything." With a shake of his head he ran his hand over the replicator frontage and had a sickening thought - what was the likelihood that a klingon ship operated by Romulans would have vegetarian meals programmed into the replicator. He would not doubt be getting hungry before they took back the Hanson - this gave hima reknewed vigour. "Right then Cadet lets leave this - rosters and replicators are all very well but we need engines, weapons and transporters if were going to take back the Hanson" Kirk looked up surprised at his instructors sudden enthuiasm and change of direction, "Okay sir whats first then?" "Bates and Parsons are on the cloak and engines. Hmm. Hows your knowledge of transporter operations?" "Not bad. I went to all the lectures" "Good Lad. Lets try and find us a transporter bay on this rust bucket."
Kirk and Harash-kyat paced the decks awhile and then recruited Ensigns Lovell and Tormak to assist in their search. After an hour and down on the third deck they found what seemed to be the proper room. The two officers entered the room. Harash-kyat paused and wrinkled his broad nostrils. He gave a small cough and looked about him. The transport pads were caked in rust and mud and the console seemed equally delapidated. "This could take awhile" Kirk noted with a mixure of eagerness and despair. It was good to be working but this could take hours if not days. "Okay then start the diagnostic." Kirk checked the console - Commander Savali had converted the interface to binary and he had little trouble in defining the current status. "The pattern enhancer seems to be broken." Harash-kyat looked over the pad and noticed a small recess, "It ll be in there I reckon" Kirk crossed from behind the console and bent down. He pressed a pair of release buttons and a draw slid out. He bent his head to analyse the problem and then looked up in bewilderment. "Sir the enhancer isnt broken." "Then that can't be the problem. You must have misread the diagnostic" he moved round to the console to double check. "No you dont understand. It is nt broken because it isnt here" "Nonsense" Harash-kyat snorted irritably, "The transporter wont work without it and we know the romulans beamed them on and us off." He could feel his trademark bad mood returning and stomped round to look for himself. Except there it was, or more to the point wasnt, the niche designed to take the enhancer was empty. "You re right" "But how can it be. The only way for it to be gone is if someone removed it." Harash-kyat nodded and then frowned deeply, suddenly linking the smell of the room to their discovery. "We have a major problem here, with comms down I m going to charge you with a very important task. I think we have an intruder on board." "An intruder!!!" "Yes and shush - You must go and find Commander Savali. Tell him what you discovered, tell only him and no-one else, then follow his orders." "Okay but what are you going to do" "Well the transporter is dead until we find the enhancer. And if I were going round disrupting the ship I d focus on engineering so I ll head there, I should also be able to smell the hostile, that if the faint aroma I pick up here is in fact them. Either way be careful and take this" Harash-kyat pulled out a small laser welder they had taken from the engine room, "Keep this close to you." "What about you sir what will you use." "Bah - I abhor violence, I never use a weapon. I ll be fine. Ive been through more crises than you ve had foul smelling meat dinners, now get going and watch your back, teh Commander must be warned."

OFF: this is were i get to have fun "Yep" Daya said in a quick reply, when Commander Felix asked if he was alright, then lost his attention once again "I see, well I'm sure that a young man like you will recover in no time"; he smiled "i dunno, i've never had a concusion before" he replied in a drowsy voice as he looked around, dazed. "And please, feel free to take all the time you need to rest, thereβs no use of having you collapsing while you're repairing something.", Felix told him "What is it that i am repairing" Daya asked in a confused voice "I see, well then I will see you on the bridge when you're feeling better.", Felix said as he left sickbay "Bye" he waved lazyily as the commander left, then looked at the docter. " how long will this take? i'm hungry" <tag Docter Black>

Kirk and Harash-Kyat split up, Harash-Kyat was heading down to engineering, and Kirk found himself leaving the transporter and heading towards the bridge a rather quick pace.Rather Incognito Kirk. He thought to himself slipping the welder into his left cargo pocket as he slowed his walk down to normal.
It was hard to not run into somebody on this ship, it was grossly over populated right now and people were bumping to him as he walked through the main corridor to the bridge.
I would say I just found one thing I liked about being on board a Borg ship, order. Kirk thought to himself as another officer bumped into his shoulder, Kirk adjusted his shoulders and continued to walk through the mad house. I am taking the secondary corridor next time!
Walking onto the bridge Kirk spotted Commander Savali. Commander Savali was taking reports from the bridge cadets and officers. Choosing not to interrupt him just yet decided to take the time to scan the transporter system.
Kirk approached what he though to be the OPS station on the Klingon ship. Noticing it had been changed to binary just like the rest of the ship Kirk could work quickly in his scan. He ran the highest level scan available which was not as detailed as he had hopped, but it did register something. The scan said the transporter buffer was working at 100%, it obviously wasn't. Running the scan again the computer spit out the same response.
"Somebody has put sensors into a feed back loop." Kirk whispered to himself.
It was time to act, Kirk walked up to Commander Savali.
"Here is my report Commander."
Savali looked over the PADD and then back at the Cadet. Kirk had written a message on the PADD, it stated simply: 'We have got a problem, I need to talk to you in private.'
"Very Good," Replied the Commander, "Commander Akleth you have the bridge."
Kirk and Commander Savali walked off the bridge into what used to be a Klingon Captains ready room. It was small but clearly proud place to wait for battle. The room still smelled of blood wine. The door closed behind Kirk and he stood face to face with the Commander.
"Sir, we have a intruder on board," Kirk said bluntly trying to get to the point, "Harash-Kyat and I were in the transporter room and somebody took out the pattern enhancer. I ran a scan on the ship and the computer is in a feed back loop. It tells me that the transporters are working at 100%. This person has been very busy trying to keep us here."

Joan wakes with a groan, and finds herself tied up and gaged. She hears people in the next room, and tries to make some noise. It is too late though, as they are heading away from her.
Meanwhile, Theice heads back to engineering to cause more problems, if he can. When he arrives he heads to an empty part of engineering, and looks to see that sensors are being used heavily, and those can help them still. He decides to go to the main sensor array to fix this problem.
When he arrives, after putting on a pair of gloves, he removes several of the chips, breaking several and throwing others around. He makes a royal mess of the sensor array before leaving. He stoes the gloves making sure there is no way to trace himself with the array mess.

Akleth heard a thud and looked down to see Daya, uncouncious on the floor.
He rolled his eyes, "Careless. Hey you two!" He said yelling at a pair of teal uniformed cadets that seemed to be at a loss of what to do. "Take Daya to sickbay. Carefull with his head. We don't want to make him stupider."
Soon after the pair had taken Daya away Kirk and Harash-Kyat entered the bridge. They requested a duty roster and Akleth had a few names on hand from their search and head-count.
Akleth was just about to connect the last relay when the bridge door opened and Hannides an Nokomis walked in, "Where have you guys been? Report!"
<Tag: Nokomis and Hannides>
After they gave their report, he instructed them to begin work on the repairs being careful to leave the cloaking console alone. Savali soon came and relieved Akleth and asked for a report. Akleth turned to Nokomis, communicating he expected her to give a report.

"Do you know what you are saying, cadet?", Felix said to cadet Kirk after he informed him of a possible traitor
"Yes, sir", Kirk responded
"This ship was checked and there is no one on board except the crew of the USS Hanson. Which then means that one of the Starfleet officers is a traitor.", he said
"But then perhaps it is not so unusual seeing as we already have one spy among our ranks, the formed FO commander Hope", Felix said
"But perhaps her husband is in on it with her", Kirk said
"You mean, Michael Hope being our saboteur? Well I guess it is possible and would explain why he's been acting weird", Felix said
"I think you may have a point here cadet.", Felix said
"I want you to assemble a security team, yes I want you to lead the team, cadet.", Felix said
"Go to commander Akleth, and get him to give you some of his security cadets to go with you, you then go and arrest lt. Hope and escort him to the brig. This ship has got to have some sort of a brig. After you're done get up here and let me know and then we will go and interrogate him.", Felix said
"And cadet, if cadet Daya has recovered enough, get him to help you in finding Lt. Hope and get commander Akleth to get you some weapons even if it has to be a couple of metal plates I want you to be able to defend yourselves. And cadet, take Akleth with you just to be sure. And good luck, cadet.", he said
<Tag Kirk>
After cadet Kirk left, Felix returned to the bridge to resume listening to the reports that were incoming from all decks. But due to the lack of the comm. system, he could see ensigns and lieutenants running around carrying messages from their commanders. He turned to the science console in an effort to finally receive an update on the progress of the sensor systems repairs when he realized that Cmdr. McCormick was gone.
"Cadet T'Brel", he called
"Did you notice where did Cmdr. McCormick go?", he asked
<Cadet T'Brel>
"I see, never mind, keep up the good work.", Felix said to the cadet as he turned to Akleth
"Commander, did you see where did Commander McCormick go?", he asked
"No, sir", the klingon replied as he went on his way to assist cadet Kirk
Great Felix thought. Another problem, just what I needed he thought. He sat down on the captainβs chair for a few moments to think. He had to find Commander McCormick, but where could she be he wondered.

ooc: place this post after S'reena has left Karynn's quarters. I will post getting S'reena to Bates after the admiral has questioned S'reena....
ic:
Meran ir-i'ramnau tr'Ahnk watched the children in a small room aboard the Hanson. At first, he had been delighted at being given that specific task, but the children would not stop crying and they demanded more attention than he had bargained for. At last, he stalked back onto the bridge, momentarily leaving the trio unattended.
"I can't take it anymore," Meran announced, beelining for Subcommander Tr'Ellian, "they won't stop crying and they smell. I have no experience in dealing with babies. Have someone else care for them, I won't do it anymore!"
"You won't?" Arrhae queried, "very well then you may attend to the disabled human and tell him to increase the speed of this ship to warp five, or he'll have more to worry about than his disabilities. Understood?"
"Ie khre'riov," Meran replied, bowing ever so slightly, and went to engineering to do as he was told.
"You," Arrhae barked, pointing at a very junior officer. "Take those children, and get them to the human admiral. She may care for them, lest she gets bored and might try to break free. And find me the traitress."
The youngster nodded and went to fetch the children. Unannounced, she marched into the admiral's room and set the children on the couch. "Their names are Kahlan, Yarna and Amilea," she announced, pointing at the child as she spoke the name, "we have gotten their names from the database. You are to care for them." Without further ado, the youngster left the quarters and went in search for S'reena.
1-Year old Yarna continued to whimper and clutched her arms around her 3-year old sister Kahlan. 9-Month old Amilea joined in and promptly started crying too. Only Kahlan remained silent, and with big frightened eyes, she gazed at Karynn, waiting for whatever was to come next.

"Aye sir" Kirk said leaving the Commander standing in the old smelly ready room by himself to contemplate what had just happened.
Stepping back onto the bridge all eyes were on Cadet Kirk, he suddenly had the feeling of command pumping through his veins, giving him a energy and confidence. He had not felt this way since he was prompted to Cadet Captain at the Academy. He dreamed of commanding and now he was about to get his first taste of it in the real world.
"Commander Akleth," Kirk said walking towards the Klingon,"I have been ordered by Commander Savali to take a team of your Security Cadets to arrest Lieutenant Hope on grounds of sabotage. Commander Savali wants me to lead this team, but strongly recommends you coming with us."
"OK Cadet, what do you need?" Replied Akleth.
"I need two of your Cadets, the location of the brig, and some weapons would be nice."
"Cadets Nokomis and Hannides you will be joining us." Ordered the Commander.
<Tag Nokomis and Hannides>
"The brig is one deck directly above us, and the Cadets here," Akleth points to Nokomis and Hannides, "Were good enough to secure us some phasers."
"Excellent," Kirk said pausing to look his 'crew', "We are going over to sickbay first, if he happens to not be there we are going to split up in teams; Akleth and Hannides you will take all decks above the bridge level, and Nokomis and myself will take all the decks below the bridge. Understood?"
Everybody nodded and grabbed a phaser from Commander Akleth who already programed them for stun.
"Lets move." Kirk said leading the way to sickbay.
Off: I am going to have to finish this post later when I get the OK from Joan McCormick to use my idea involving her mysterious Ensign.
