Stephens continued whistling as he neared Astrometrics. He was wondering if T'Pren was there yet, thinking he might surprise her with a wink and a bow. But just as he neared the entrance, his mind completely somewhere else, most likely having a picnic with a blanket and some good wine, with the lovely T'Pren being visibly affected by the sparkling waters of the River Shannon, he walked straight into another cadet, slamming his chin on the top of her head. He sprang back as if he had been a cat electrified, back arched and hair standing straight up.
When he looked, really looked, at the cadet who had been the instrument of his suffering, he recognized a classmate from the early years of the Academy. She was certainly unmistakable, exotic in her own right. He managed a smile.
"Cadet....Isis? I remember you...from early in the Academy." And then remembering his manners, he said, "Oh! My apologies. I didn't see you. Did I hurt you?"
<Isis>
"I was thinking of something else." He looked into Astrometrics to see if T'Pren had arrived there. And although he had no claim to her in any way, having just met her a few hours earlier, still he hoped that their meeting would be fortuitous and fruitful. Turning back to Isis he said, "I am meeting my instructor here, Lt Commander Konal Manto. And what brings you here?"
<Isis>
"Ahh, I see. Care to join me as we let her know we are here, then?"
<Isis>
Stephens laughed as he let her go in first. He'd never known anyone like her before. She was a mystery that intrigued him too, although in a much different way than T'Pren did. He wondered what she was really like.
Seeing the Commander, he announced his entry, and in the presence of all three ladies, smiled and bowed low.

The Lt. had infromed Jason to wait for her in the phaser range and he had readily agreed. He knew that she at the moment was helping Cadet Karren as the tactical insturctor. She was doing a find job. Jason was pretty sure that she was feeling sorry for him, but he was okay with that.
The doors opened and like he had thought both cadet and officer walked in.
"Hello cadet, Lt," Jason said smiling," so we're going to do some target practice?"

Tovan noticed that the Vulcan woman he had noticed earlier was approaching him.
"If I am not disturbing you, Sir." she addressed the him, giving him the traditional vulcan salute (\V/). "I am T'Pren. I was wondering if you would join me for a game of 3D or 4D chess later, and perhaps some Plomeek soup?".
"T'Pren," he said, inclining his head in gretting and returning the salute (\V/). " I am Tovan. Yes, a fame of chess would be quite agreeable. Shall I meet you in the mess hall following the end of the shift?"
<Tag T'Pren>
Just then, T'Pren's combadge called her away. As he returned his attention to his console, he reflected that, despite they're lack of emotions, Vulcan's occasionally required social interaction, same as most any sentient species. And if that contact was with a Vulcan, he wouldn't have to worry about dealing with illogical emotions.

Konal was walking the corridor, going through her post-boarding checklist, when she realized that she had Cadets waiting for her in Astrometrics.
=/\= Cadet T'Pren, are you finished yet?" =/\= she asked, hoping the answer was no.
T'Pren answered in the affirmative, but stated she had not made it to sickbay yet. This relieved Konal; she realized she wasn't late. As she turned the corner, she saw T'Pren making her way to the turbolift.
"I'll help you find Astrometrics, if you don't mind." she said, smiling at the young woman, increasing her pace to catch up with the Cadet. She received no smile back, but a sense of approval was felt nonetheless.
Reaching Astrometrics, Konal found one Cadet rubbing her forehead while another, Connor Stephens, was rubbing his chin. They were both laughing at the encounter. Konal and T'Pren exchanged a glance of intrigue.
"Are you alright, Cadet? Maybe I should send you to sickbay?"
<Isis>
"Well, you tell Doctor Brelev that she'll have to wait." Konal knew she needed to get a physical done. Especially with the incident that happened last mission, it would be wise for the Doctor to have her medical data on file.
Softening up a bit, she retried her approach. "I'll tell you what. Give me 20 minutes. I want T'Pren and Stephens here to get a chance to play with the long range sensors. They are a bit fussy, I found, and they'll need to get a handle on their quirks if they want to use them successfully."
Cadet Isis did not seem to mind the delay, and exited Astrometrics. When the coast was clear, Konal let out a sigh, "They are always trying to prod and prick you in Starfleet... You have to resist just a little bit so that the Doctors here don't get too demanding." She smiled, laughing at how ornery she was being. Doctor Brelev was not demanding, nor unreasonable- but it was almost a Starfleet tradition to try and bypass a well-visit to sickbay.
After showing the sensitivities of the sensors, and giving the Cadets a chance to try them out on their own, Konal decided they should all make a visit to sickbay.
Had Konal been strict, she would have asked that her Cadets be less at-ease on the way to sickbay. She found Stephen's constant assault of friendly conversation on T'Pren rather amusing along the walk, and it was not even close to bordering insubordination, so Konal said nothing.
<Stephens / T'Pren >
Arriving in sickbay, Cadet Isis immediately greeted Konal and the others. Doctor Brelev poked her head out from her office and smiled at Konal. They hadn't seen each other, except for in passing, since the blooming of the purple orchid. It was nice to see her friendly face again.

After encountering another Cadet, with whom Mr.Stephens seemed to already be acquainted, T'Pren and Stephens enjoyed a session of familiarization with the longrange sensors. T'Pren found this fascinating. She had known, intelectually that there were scanners capable of sensing objects, pulses and other subspace anomalies at such distances, but until she actually read the distance readouts with her own eyes, she couldn't allow her mind to actually grasp the concept. Now it was firmly rooted in her mind, and she considered it a learned part of her intelligence. The way the Vulcan mind worked, nothing could remove that knowledge from her brain now. After they finished with the longrange sensors, Lt. Commander Manto announced that the team, plus Cadet Isis were all to go down to Sickbay for their post-arrival well-check.
As the Science team walked to Sickbay, T'Pren found she was being engaged in conversation more and more by Stephens. Regretfully, most of it was not work-related, but a light chatter, almost a banter. He kept on going on about subjects that were of little consequence to the average Vulcan, but those which seemed of utmost importance to him. Then, he started to drift closer toward her. There was plenty of room in the corridor, but for some reason he began to move closer toward T'Pren. Occasionally in the telling of some anecdote, he would gesticulate wildly, and touch T'Pren accidentally. T'Pren was filled with conflict. Logically she should not be driven to any kind of emotion by this man and his talk. But for some reason, she could not supress her mind's inner workings where Stephens was concerned. She only hoped it didn't show on the outside.
As they reached Sickbay, the doors parted and T'Pren met what was to her, a new species; a Denobulan. The doctor was a kindly sort, but under that facade, T'Pren sensed a melancholy that was hiding something. She briefly wondered what, and chastised herself for the illogical emotional response. What was wrong with her lately? She waited on one of the sensor beds for her checkup. <Konal/Brelev/whoever?>

Learning to operate the long-range sensors was, for Stephens, quite enjoyable. That T'Pren also happened to be there, working alongside him, might perhaps have been a large part of the enjoyment, but he was a scientist, after all, and scientific things did indeed excite him of their own merit.
They spent the twenty minutes playing about with those, while Cadet Isis looked on. Occasionally, Stephens would glance up from his board and look at her, and in each case, she was watching him and smiling. The time went by quickly, and as Konal Manto herded them from Astrometrics to go to sickbay for a well-check, he allowed the women to go ahead of him in a gentlemanly gesture.
Soon, though, he found himself walking alongside T'Pren. He was feeling playful, and began to engage her in a story about a young man named Jack, who had, somehow, gotten involved with a young princess who had been bewitched. Through a series of comical episodes, during which Stephens waved his arms about expressively, accidentally touching T'Pren in the process, and even more comical characters, which he voiced for each one, the young princess was eventually rescued, and, overcome with gratitude, gave her consent to marry the young Jack. Stephens loved that story, told him at his grandfather's knee, and he sensed that T'Pren, while outwardly showing no response to it, might have taken pleasure in the telling of it, anyway.
As the story ended, they reached sickbay, there to be greeted by a Denobulan doctor who introduced herself as Dr Brelev. Stephens knew from an earlier orientation to the ship that she was the Second Officer, and so he comported himself appropriately, not knowing if humor was a part of her medical regimen. He watched as T'Pren perched herself on a biobed nearby, while he himself hung back near Cadet Isis, waiting for an order to do something. He glanced at Isis, winked at her, and wondered what she was thinking.

Shortly after the loud thud from the door, Methos noticed that there was a slight crack where the doors came together. Then he saw what looked like a pry-bar enter the crack. Shortly thereafter, the doors were open just enough for Daya and Methos to squeeze through. When they got out, they saw that the Admiral and Cadet Kang were the two who seemed to be doing most of the work.
"Admiral I see that you got my message. I hope that Cadet Kang here didn't cause you and grief," Methos said.
<Drew>
After Drew's response, Methos noticed that CPL Taylor was in the group watching. Methos turned to him, "Taylor, I want to see you in Daya's office, seeing as how mine is temporarily out of service." Taylor left and headed down the corridor. While Admiral Drew was asking what happened, Cadet Kang called Engineering to get a work detail sent up, to see if they could figure out what needed to be fixed. Methos then left to go deal with why Taylor was standing around.
After he got back, the Engineering team was just finishing up there scan of the area. They found that there was nothing wrong with any of the systems in the Marine office. Methos suggested that Daya try and find out if this was an act of sabotage.
After everyone, except Methos and Kang, left Methos said, "Have you had your physical, since you came on-board?"
<Kang>
"Well, what do you say that you and I head to sickbay, because I believe that I am about due for one also," Methos said as he lead the way to the turbo-lift. When the entered, Methos said, "Deck 6." The doors shut and the lift headed up. Three decks later, the doors opened and the two stepped out.
They were walking down the corridor, Methos asking why Kang had joined Starfleet, what made him join the Marines, and why he left the KDF. They were just about to the doors of sickbay, when the power went out on the deck. Methos turned on his wrist-light, which he forgot to leave in his office.
<anyone in sickbay...>
He walked to the computer panel on the wall, but it was unresponsive. "Cadet, I want you to go through this jefferies tube and head to engineering, I am going to head toward the bridge. Try and find out if they can send a team up to get people off this deck. Tell them I sent you if they give you any trouble," Methos instructed his cadet.
Kang entered the jefferies tube and disappeared. Methos entered as well, only his destination was five decks up. On deck 5 he saw that there was still power, so he got out and went to the Turbolift. He entered and told it to take him to the bridge. A few minutes later he emerged on the bridge.
He walked over to the Admiral and said, "Sir, the power on Deck 6 went out as Cadet Kang and I were about to enter sickbay."

It did not take them long to resolve the problem with the power to the Marine office. Methos had arranged for someone to go down to Engineering to get them to send someone up to resolve the issues. Drew rather suspected it was due to something left over from the Klingons taking the ship the previous mission. Satisfied that everything was in order, Drew left Methos and Daya to carry on with there duties.
Returning to his ready room, he sat at his desk, and stared at his comm system, wondering how he should reply to the message that he had received. The last time he had seen his daughter, she had told him she was eloping with Starbase Assailants Chief of Security. The two had apparently been having a relationship right under Drew’s nose for months. He had of course had the officer in question drummed out of the service, but it was the last he had seen of his daughter. But as he knew they would, things had gone wrong with the relationship, and now his eldest child wanted her daddy once again.
His thoughts were distracted by the announcement that they would be reaching their destination – Starbase 567, within the next thirty minutes. The peace conference was not going to be taking place until the next day, but tonight the Starbase was going to be holding a reception to welcome all the diplomats. The entire Hanson crew, cadets included, had been invited, and were expected to attend. Drew just hoped that the cadets had all remembered to pack dress uniforms.
Leaving his ready room, and his family concerns with it, Drew returned to the bridge. Taking his seat he put out a call to inform the instructors that they had to be ready to meet with the delegates from Starbase 567 in forty-five minutes.
“Admiral, there is an unknown ship approaching,” Crystal reported from the helm, which Tovan was current piloting.
“On screen,” Drew ordered, turning his attention to the forward viewscreen to see if he could identify the vessel visually. Unfortunately he couldn’t.
“They are gaining speed on us,” Crystal said, checking her sensors, “they will over take us within two minutes.”
“Look’s like we have no choice but to drop out of warp then,” Drew said, “try hailing them.”
“No response,” someone called out.
“What’s their status?” Drew asked, as the unknown vessel now dropped out of warp beside them.
“Sensors won’t penetrate their hull,” Daya reported, then rather more urgently, “sir, we have lost communication with deck six.”
“What do you mean we have lost communication?” Drew asked, looking over at his Tactical Chief.
“They appear to have suffered a power outage; I am getting reports now from all over the ship.”
“Go to red alert,” Drew ordered, just as Methos walked out onto the bridge, informing them of the power outage of deck six.
“You know, its all just far too convenient,” Drew said, “something tells me our friends out there have something to do with this.”
“We have an unauthorised transport in progress!” Daya suddenly called out, “the Ambassador’s quarters.”
“Drew to Hope, S’reena what’s going on down there?”
There was no response.
“Methos get down there and find out what happened, have a medical team meet you there.”
“Admiral, look!” Crystal called, pointing to the viewscreen. Drew turned just in time to see as the unknown vessel disappeared into warp speed. Whatever they had wanted, they had clearly succeeded in getting it.
OOC:
OK, my basic idea is that the Ambassador has been kidnapped. Due to our lost of power, the Hanson will not be able to follow right away. I want S’reena, Wesley Crusser, Crystal, Tovan, Methos and Kang to take the delta flyer and pursue the alien ship and attempt to recover the Ambassador.
Tiffany, with Tovan piloting the shuttle, you are to report to the bridge and take the helm. Caitlin, T’Pren and Connor, you are all in sickbay, and the power has just gone. I am sure that will provide you with something fun to do lol.
I am sorry for not simming all this myself, but it would have turned into a massive post lol.

My advice is for you to do some research in the archives about yourself and see what comes up." Brelev explained, wishing she could do more to help the girl.
Tiffany answered, "Thank you, I will have to look into it, research the archives and see what I come up with."
Ellena popped her head in the door, with a slightly frantic look on her face "Doctor I...Oh sorry." she mumbled, spotting the cadet.
"Just give me a moment." Brelev replied, shooing the nurse away. "As for relatives, we could run a DNA analysis through the system. However family lines are not kept secret, you could just do a little research on that as well. Cadet I have to ask, how is it that someone from such ancient a period managed to get into the Academy? You must be extraordinarily bright to catch up with your classmates."
"DNA analysis or through some research through the archives? I do believe I will chose to look through the archives, if you don't mind. I'm not too fond of idea, needless. I will look through the archives for that information, thank you very much. Well yes I am rather bright. Some things come to me easy, more so than others."
"Of course, and I suspect your Autism may have been somewhat beneficial. That condition is not very common anymore, if you don't mind my asking, in what way does it affect you?" Brelev's curiosity could be excessive somehow, but given her position she felt it was her place to pry.
Tiffany smiled. She knew the doctor was going end up prying information but she however did not mind explaining this to the doctor.
Tiffany spoke "Well, one thing that seems to be most annoying is my hearing is rather acute. The other thing is I find that iI have very strong focus on things more than others do. I also seem to know certin things without anyone teaching me how to do these things.
"I am very organized. I do not like idea of others moving my items out their place. I will know if they have been moved or not. It took some time before my mother was able to get me talk to others and even for me to allow others near myself. You see I was not to fond of being held or touched or really talked to. I was also not very fond of the idea change. There were times where I would rock back and forth or I would hit my head up againest wall. I do these things when I am frustrated or upset, other times without a reason.
Sometimes I find myself rocking without knowing that I was doing it. I still do rock back and forth."
"Also seem to sit for hours in deep thought, think of new ideas to better things or just new ideas no one has even come up with. "Or sometimes i just seat for hours in a dark quite room where I hear nothing but the beating of my own heart or breathing for company.
"I find myself to be rather good at dancing, acting, karate or hand to hand combat, strategies, languages, I'm also really good with music, reading, and so much more.
"Sneaking right behind you without you knowing it, I could be standing there behind you for a good 10 minutes before you know I am there.
"Sometimes more only time you would be aware of me is If I was to make myself known."

After the engineering teams and everone had left Kang was about to head off when Colonel Methos asked him if he'd had his physical yet.
"No, Sir, Klingons rarely see doctors,except in extreme cases, in fact you'd be lucky to find one on a Klingon warship." Kang answered.
He walked to the computer panel on the wall, but it was unresponsive. "Cadet, I want you to go through this jefferies tube and head to engineering, I am going to head toward the bridge. Try and find out if they can send a team up to get people off this deck. Tell them I sent you if they give you any trouble," Methos said.
Kang entered the jefferies tube even though it was a tight fit and headed towards the engineering deck.
Arriving in engineering Kang grabbed the first person he saw, "They need an engineering crew up on deck six, powers out and we need to evacuate everyone off that deck" The crewman turned around and looked up, "Uh, how did you get here if the power was out?" he asked, Kang was growing impatient "Look we don't have time for a question and answer session, let me put it to you this way," Kang said while stepping forward until he was towering over the crewman. "Colonel Methos sent me here with orders to bring back a team to deck six, therefore I WILL bring back a team to deck six!" An ensign noticing the commotion came over. "whats going on here, CADET explain yourself" he said. Kang once more explained the situation "I don't care who you CLAIM sent you, threatening a fellow crewmember either verbally or through intimidation is a court martial offense."the ensign stated although he himself wasn't so sure. "Besides we're very busy at the moment we might be able to spare a team in a few hours. I suggest you return when you have the proper written authorization." Kangs reply was to the point "SIR, I have my orders and I follow orders, now I suggest you get a team to deck six or you can add physical assault to those charges, I don't care right now how it gets done but it will get done if I have to drag the whole team there myself court martial or not."
The Ensign thought it over briefly before turning to the crewman. "Take a team to deck six and see what you can do. " then turning back to Kang asked " Cadet whats your name?"
"Kang Mek'tor, Marines!" Kang replied with a sort of pride.
"Very well, when this is over I shall be filing a report along with possible charges including insubordination, threating a crewmember, threatening a superior officer and whatever else I can think of and I shall be contacting your instructor and reporting this outrageous behavior. In the meantime you are dismissed to help with rescue operations on deck six."
Kang turned around and promptly walked out of engineering, god he hated ensigns.

“Drew to Hope, S’reena what’s going on down there?”
"Sir?" S'reena replied as she acknowledged the page. She was standing outside Davis' quarters, quietly discussing shadowing techniques with her cadet so that he could keep an eye on the ambassador without intruding on the man's immediate privacy. They had briefly excused themselves from the diplomat's presence to do this in quiet and let him attend to some work he needed to attend to.
Her expression hardned as Drew filled her in on the situation. "I knew we shouldn't have left his quarters," she scowled, then tapped Crusser on the shoulder to get his attention. "Security to the ambassador's quarters...see if you can find anything that may help us!"
Again she locked gazes with Crusser. "You're with me, we're going to get our ambassador back, even if it's the last thing we'll ever do! We're taking the Delta Flyer....run ahead to the dock and prep Flyer USS Graeme for take-off." She tapped her combadge again. "Commander Shinsei, Major Methos and Cadets Tovan and Kang, report to USS Graeme for rescue mission! You have five minutes to get there!"
(all mentioned)
S'reena ran after her cadet and caught up with him at the Graeme. "Right, new situation.....I want you, Methos and Kang to devise a rescue plan as soon as they report here. I'll man sensors, while Shinsey and Tovan will fly the Graeme. Any questions?"
(Crusser)
At last, all reported in and after the flight-check, the Graeme left the hangar and jumped to warp as soon as it had cleared the Hanson.

"Huh? What?" Stephens couldn't believe his ears, or what would have been his ears if the message had come that way. She could hear his thoughts?
He had just opened his mouth to reply to her, although it apparently wasn't necessary, whe the lights in sickbay sunddenly went out.
"Oh, hell" said Cati, running to pick up the escaping tribble.
"Oh, hell," said Stephens, not running anywhere for fear of stepping on an escaping tribble. "Commander Manto? Dr Brelev? Do we have any handlights?"
Total chaos ensued. Lots of people were running now, maybe trying to find the escaping tribble. Someone ran straight into his arms, slamming him into the bulkhead behind him. Female, definitely, but she was gone as soon as she had come. His head hurt, and sickbay was slowly filling with stars.

Crystal could tell that Tovan was waiting for new orders from her, but she wasn't sure she had any. Unless she wanted to change where the ship was headed. And Drew technically had left her in charge of the bridge. Still, she doubted that he would be pleased if she changed their destination for the simple goal of giving her cadet something to do. There were probably easier ways, though the 'engaging in conversation' really wasn't working very well for Crystal.
But another Vulcan cadet did talk to Tovan for a short amount of time, until the cadet, T'Pren, continued on her way with duty. Crystal tried not to watch them too closely, but she did notice the hand gesture. She hadn't come in contact with much Vulcan culture at all, although she had read up on it as part of some cultural understanding class or another back when she had been a cadet at the Academy.
Crystal was going to order Tovan to plot what the potential course shift would be so they would be heading to Romulus, when Admiral Drew re-entered the bridge, informing everyone that they would have to be ready to meet the delegates in over half an hour. Crystal just knew this meant she would need to wear her dress uniform. “How long will you need to prepare for the reception?” Crystal asked, but forgot about wanting a response as she leaned closer to the console.
“Admiral, there is an unknown ship approaching,” Crystal told Admiral Drew, and he took firm control of the situation. Crystal had been ordered to go with Tovan on the shuttle. “You know where the shuttles are kept?” Crystal asked.
Tovan nodded.
“Excellent. I'll meet you there then.” Crystal planned to be there at the same time as her cadet, but she wanted to wait until someone took the navigational console over from her. It just seemed like a very bad idea to leave it unstaffed. Tiffany appeared, and Crystal took a second or two to make sure Tiffany could use the controls, before she set off running, her feet pounding the ground, towards the shuttle bay. She arrived a little out of breath, but she had a minute before the Delta Flyer was going to leave to catch her breath in. “Are you ready to pilot a ship like this one?” she asked Tovan.

There was a suspended pause. =A=Dark Mame, I... oh.... just a moment.=A= the lights flickered on, then off and then on again. =A=Cadet working unsupervised, won't happen again=A=
Brelev looked around to see cadet Isis holding a struggling ball of fur. Konal paused were she had been feeling her way along the wall, T'Pren, with her knees drawn up, seated on the biobed looking relatively calm and cadet Stevens holding his head. looking dazed. "Well, that was an excellent drill wasn't it." Brelev laughed dryly. Konal shot her a confused look.
"I must say I am not used to having so many pop in unexpected. I sent cadet Isis to fetch Commander Manto and I manage to get two cadets as well. No complaints though, for a doctor this is like a birthday gift." Brelev helped Conner to his feet. "Cadet Isis, I'll look after Mr Stevens while you give a routine physical to Commander Manto. Cadet T'Pren, I will be with you as soon as I am done."
"I am very sorry about that cadet, I assure you it was not at all on purpose." Brelev insisted, running a medical tricorder up and down the young man's head. "Just a bump. I'll let it heal on it's own if that's alright with you. Sometimes its necessary to let the body do some healing of it's own."
<Tag Stevens>
"Alright, let me just pull up your record...." Brelev muttered as she made her way to the computer console. "I don't seem to have it." She sighed. "One more thing I get to worry about. First they botch up my supply order and now I have missing records. When was your last physical?"

It had been so long since Konal had a physical, she no longer remembered what it entailed. Whatever it entailed, she did not feel comfortable having it done in front of others, especially a male.
"Either he leaves the room, or I leave," Konal said loud enough for Doctor Brelev to overhear.
<Isis>
"It's nothing personal with him, I just do not wish to be probed in front of male company. It is indecent, and well... I don't have to explain my reasoning to a Cadet!" Konal remembered this tactic in her list of ruses to escape sickbay... however, this time, it was for real. She really did not feel comfortable. "Someone my age should not need to be examined in open public."
The Doctor made her way over to Konal's table, spoke to Cadet Isis, and before long the Cadet was resetting her equipment up in the Doctor's office. T'Pren came with. as Konal was not about to leave her female companion alone.
"I suppose this will do. Thank you for accommodating me."
The lights flickered while Cadet Isis was determining reflexive response, and hit Konal squarely on the knee, instead of below it.
"YOAAUUW" Konal yelled, in the most horrific yell a non-Cardassian had ever heard. "Watch where You Are Going With That Thing!"
Konal quickly composed herself, while rubbing her knee better. T'Pren was taken back by the sheer force of Konal's yell, and was recomposing herself.
"I apologize for that outburst, Cadet.. but that really hurt!" Konal shook her head and laughed off the the pain, as if it were a bitter irony of some sort. She felt bad for yelling, mostly because there was no reason to yell. A subdermal regenerator would fix any bruising.
Konal could catch tidbits of audible events in the room next door. Doctor Brelev was looking for Stephens's bio-record, and Stephen's was informing everybody in a concerned tone that the tribble was chewing through a power conduit. Cadet Isis heard Stephen's statement, and ran into the other room, leaving Konal on the desk-turned-biobed, and T'Pren waiting patiently in meditation.

Stephen's head hurt, not only in the back where he had slammed it into the bulkhead, but inside as well, causing a headache to form. It wasn't pleasant, but it wasn't as bad as it could have been, either. In any case, he didn't like the thought of just letting it go away by itself, and he was sure that his feelings about that showed on his face. But if that was the Doctor's recommendation, he'd certainly go along with it.
"Alright, let me just pull up your record...." Brelev muttered as she made her way to the computer console. "I don't seem to have it." She sighed. "One more thing I get to worry about. First they botch up my supply order and now I have missing records. When was your last physical?"
"I am surprised, Doctor, that you don't have my medical file. I had my last physical just before I joined the Hanson." His head was throbbing now, and he squeezed it in both hands, willing the pain to subside.
<<tag Brelev>>
There was a slight noise to his side as the doctor continued to search for his lost file. In all the chaos, he'd forgotten about the escaping tribble, troublesome as they were, and the noise reminded him that the little beast was perhaps still about. It sounded like a tribble chewing through some wires. He just knew that Isis would be delirious to find it, too. And although he didn't feel like turning his head to confirm it, he said rather loudly, "There's a tribble in here, chewing down sickbay!"
He heard Isis squeal with delight, and wasn't surprised in the least to see the Cadet avalanching into the room.

Methos was one of the first to arrive, just after Commander Hope and Cadet Crusser. While Commander Hope and her cadet got the Flyer ready to go, Methos did a quick power-up of the Tactical station. At last everyone had arrived and the Flyer jumped into warp as soon as it cleared the ship.
While they were in pursuit of the unknown craft, Methos let the two cadets come up with a plan. If he liked it, he would run it past the commander. In the meantime, he sat at Tactical and watched the unknown ships course.
<Crusser and Kang; go ahead and talk among yourselves and come up with something wild and crazy. The Commander and I both like that kind of plan.... ;D>

While Tiffany was talking to Commander Brelev, the ship was losing power, seeing the ship's lights flickering.
=/\=Bridge to Cadet Porter. Please report to the Bridge.=/\=
Tiffany spoke Commander Brelev. "Thank you for your help. I must go, it seems I am needed on the bridge."
Tiffany walked out of sickbay, down the corridors to the turbolift. She entered the turbolift. "Computer, bridge."
The turbolift ascended and then came to a stop. Tiffany exited the turbolift onto the bridge.
"Cadet Porter reporting for duty."
Tiffany thought herself, ~It looks like I might be able to have a chance at maybe finding someone who might be related to me."
Tiffany no longer felt the weight of the world on her shoulders. It seemed that Commander Brelev was the cure for her, after all, since now there was hope.
Tiffany's worries faded away. She began to think of her family once again and how much she missed them. She felt that all will be alright now that she knew what to do.

"So you are up to date for your physical then, that's something I suppose. I..." Brelev paused, "Wait a moment are you Cadet Connor or Cadet Stephens?"
"Last name Stephens." Connor replied, still holding his head tenderly. Perhaps he did need treatment. Brelev hated to pamper the cadets, but they still needed to be able to hold a tricorder.
"Oops, let me look again." Brelev turned back to the console. "Yes, here it is." She scanned the file quickly. "No allergies, nothing to be too concerned about. Cadet, do you need something for your head?"
Connor cautiously nodded his head, a movement that Brelev was relatively certain only made things worse.
"Okay, I'll treat you. Just don't go around telling everyone I am going soft." She winked, and began to treat the young man's injury while keeping an eye on Isis.
"There, better?" she asked standing back from the biobed. "Good." she replied, without waiting for his input. "Now, Cadet T'Pren you're up, I'm just going to pull up your file."
T'Pren's file was much easier to find, and the only item of interest was a minor food allergy. "Ah, you are a hybrid of Vulcan and Human. I'll be honest I thought you were pure Vulcan. Canada, I went there once, but found it a bit to cold for my liking. Now to business, has anything been bothering you lately?"

Tovan quickly signed off of his console and headed towards the turbolift. "Deck 9," he said, and zoomed off. This kidnapping was quite a fascinating development. Who would want to kidnap the ammbasador? Apparently, he would be given the oppurtunity to find out.
He stepped out onto the shuttlebay floor and boarded the Delta Flyer. Commander Shinsei wasn't there yet, so he quickly familiarized himself with the controls. With a passing thought, he thought about his plans with T'Pren. They would have to wait until his return, Tovan thought. Just then, Crystal came in.
“Are you ready to pilot a ship like this one?” she asked Tovan.
"I believe so," he replied. "We trained on similar craft at the Academy, but I've never flown one in a combat situation before, and I am slightly...apprehensive."
<Tag Crystal>
A Vulcan was never nervous, he thought to himself. He hoped that none of the others had noticed his lapse in control as he guided the Delta Flyer out of the shuttlebay and into warp. He would have to redouble his meditation tonight.

Stephens didn't really want to make a fuss about his throbbing head. He would have been perfectly willing to do whatever the doctor had recommended, but even as he sat there, the pain grew worse. So even in spite of her reservations about treatment, which embarrassed him a little, he was most glad when she went ahead and began to regenerate his sensibilities and his pain balance.
As she was beginning, Cadet Isis screeched into the room, cooing and looking about for her beloved little tribble. The furry little truant had, however, taken advantage of the interim to move to a new location behind some medical equipment. Quite a comical thing it was, too, to see the Cadet groping about on her hands and knees, oblivious to her positioning or to her reputation. Stephens wanted to laugh out loud, his ringing head out of the equation. But as he noticed that the good Dr Brelev glanced that way herself, disapproving and looking quite stern, he managed to keep his mirth in check and his throbbing head on the procedure.
He glanced at T'Pren, who had merely raised an eyebrow at the spectacle before them. She looked at Stephens for a moment, and he could have, and would have, sworn that he saw a small smile prick at the corners of her lips. She then looked away quickly and began an intense scrutiny of something else nearby. For Stephens, however, that brief moment endeared her to him all the more, and he was overwhelmed with curiousity and a desire to know her even more.
Dr Brelev, now finished with him, called to T'Pren and asked her about her medical condition. Stephens, with one brief glance more at Cadet Isis, wondering if she knew his thoughts just then, and hoping that she did not, turned and left the room, searching for Konal Manto to get further instructions.

"Either he leaves the room, or I leave," Konal said loud enough for Doctor Brelev to overhear. "We will ask him to leave and if he says anything, we can shoot him."
He heard Isis squeal with delight, and wasn't surprised in the least to see the Cadet avalanching into the room. "Thank you!"Cati jumped down next to the hiding place and groped for the tribble. "If you don't come out now, I'll let Commander Manto stroke you!" The tribble slowly wandered over to the specimen chamber and sat in the middle. Caitlin ran over and turned it on. As she went back to Manto, Cati started thinking about what she had seen in Cadet Stephens' mind. <tag all here>
