Konal jumped off the desk, and disinfected it while T'Pren was called into the other room.
"You can have it done here if you want... I don't think the Doctor will mind." T'Pren was already gone, however, and it was Cadet Stephens who had turned the corner, surprising Konal when she turned around.
"Oh, I thought you were T'Pren. I'm sorry Mr. Stephens. Just sit tight until I'm finished here. I think T'Pren will go quickly," Konal said, as the lights flickered once... twice... and finally, permanently died. The specimen containment was depowered, and before the backup cells could fire, the tribble escaped. No one would have known except Cadet Isis projected her emotions to all.
In the dark, again, Konal felt her way along the wall to where her Cadets were. She opened a medical tricorder, which gave enough light to see about an arm-length's away, but not much more. It gave everyone a reference as to where she was, and Conner tripped over Dr. Brelev's chair, crashing to the floor, in his attempt to rendezvous.
"I'm OK!" Stephens yelled, to the delight of his scared instructor.
"You poor Cadet... I'll be glad when this training is through. You have been bumped too many times for a Cadet. Let me assure you, it only gets easier."
Konal took his hand and led him into the other room where Cadet Isis was crawling on the floor, tribble hunting, Dr. Brelev was looking for a better light source than her tricorder, and T'Pren sat calmly on the table, responding audibly only if asked.
Konal felt something rub past her leg. She kicked it, and a humming noise came from the tribble as it rolled across the room. "If you don't catch that thing soon, I'll do more than..." Konal bit her tongue. "...let's just say, that thing needs to be off of this ship. The systems were just repaired, and the tribble is causing trouble in them already!"
Commander Brelev agreed, after all it was her sickbay. She was more intent on finding a light source. Konal was intent on getting the main lights to come back on.
"Anyone want to go up with me and see if we can't get hold of engineering...? I have no idea how to repair a ruptured conduit, let alone where the rupture is located. Plus, whatever happened, my combadge isn't working."
<tag>
Each tried their combadge, and each found theirs weren't working either.
One of the Cadets queried, "That wouldn't be from the tribble, would it?"
"Oh, you never know!" Konal knew though. A ruptured conduit would not have effected the communications in the ship... at least not the ones on autonomous power sources like their badges. The tribble, while still a nuisance, was not the problem. However, the immediate problem was needing lights, so off they went.

(OOC: this before Konal/others leave(s))
"I'm sorry everyone!" Cati said. "There you are!"
Cati grabbed an empty hypospray and pressed it to the side of her neck. Out came a cloudy-blue substance.
"Could two of you hold Mr. Stephens please?"
Cati knelt down and let a small amount of the liquid drip on the floor. The tribble rushed forwards and licked it up. Cati took a couple of steps backwards, picked up a box containing empty specimen dishes, took one out, put a few drops into it and put it onto the floor. The tribble zoomed to the dish and Cati put the box on top of it. A pile of PADDs was placed so the box could not be over-turned.
Cadet Stephens was straining to get to the hypospray as Cati emptyed it into the air.
"As you can see, I have an interesting effect on men." exclaimed Caitlin as she put the hypospray away.

S'reena ran after her cadet and caught up with him at the Graeme. "Right, new situation.....I want you, Methos and Kang to devise a rescue plan as soon as they report here. I'll man sensors, while Shinsey and Tovan will fly the Graeme. Any questions?"
"I have one questions. I do not understand this? I have us the Tricorder, there was nothing to see."said Crusser. Befor he entered the Flyer.

"AYYY!!," Stephens exclaimed, as something impertinently threw him to the floor. What a day it had been! First, thinking he would be trapped on the outside of the ship, trying to get in. Then, being stymied by a piece of celery--celery!!--to being nearly decapitated, and now being mercilessly shown the floor! ~Well, I knew StarFleet was tough, but I didn't expect this!~ Checking some of his vital signs, such as whether his appendages were still in working order, and finding that they were, Stephens called out, "I'm ok!" before picking hmself up again. In the sudden darkness, he could see nothing for a moment, then heard the opening of a tricorder and a soft illumination became visible. In a ghostly fashion, a visage appeared. It was the face of Konal Manto.
She searched for and found his hand, and led him back into the room from which he had just come. T'Pren was quiet, and Isis, it was to be presumed, was still mucking about on the floor. ~Shall I join you, Cadet? The floor seems to be a popular destination today.~ Stephens chuckled at his thought.
"Anyone want to go up with me and see if we can't get hold of engineering...? I have no idea how to repair a ruptured conduit, let alone where the rupture is located. Plus, whatever happened, my combadge isn't working," Manto said.
Stephens tried his own comm badge, and discovered that it wasn't working either. Several others confirmed. Stephens was just about to say something, when Cadet Isis rose from her position, and inexplicably said, "Could two of you hold Mr. Stephens please?" That wasn't a logical response to a comm badge not working, and in his bewilderment, he didn't realize what she meant or what she was doing until he heard the hiss of a hypospray. Immediately, every other consideration except the one to get at Isis shut down! What was she doing? Pheromones!! His recently repaired brain, working apparently, instantly switched to primal mode, and the only person in the entire universe was Cadet Isis. He struggled to get to the hypospray before it was too late, but of course, it was too late.
He heard Caitlin's laughter. "As you can see, I have an interesting effect on men," she exclaimed as she put the hypospray away.
Connor Stephens, Neanderthal, could only wait and dread what might come next. What a day!

S'reena watched Crystel settle her cadet at the controls while Methos took his through a series of routines. Crusser listened to them as well but addressed her while issuing his questions. "I have one questions. I do not understand this? I have us the Tricorder, there was nothing to see."said Crusser.
"That's quite possible," S'reena reassured her cadet, "it wasn't any fault of ours cadet. I assume we were cruising without our shields raised as is normal when we don't expect any threats to show up. This cruiser appeared without warning and the ambassador was snatched away without even further warning."
She patted Crusser on the shoulder then nudged him to go to the Klingon and his instructor. "Confer with them on a rescue plan, I want something concrete within the hour. Keep that tricorder of yours at hand, if we need to board that shuttle, we might need it. Also, make sure your weapons are charged and set to heavy stun."
(Crusser/Kang)
The Romulan turned to face the Vulcan cadet and his instructor. "Take us out," she ordered, "maximum speed. I want an ETA on overtaking that ship as soon as possible."

The door had opened, Jason had seen the cadet and her instructor. He tried to make a joke and then all power went out. He heard a small shriek and then the swoosh of the door closing. Jason tried to force it open, but it was no use.
"Lt., Cadet are you alright?" Jason asked.
"Yes, sir, it seems that all power on the ship has gone offline," Rachel responded," we are trying to get you out of there."
"Negative, Lt. I want you to take your cadet and take her to the bridge," Jason ordered," if you cannot make it to the bridge head towards main engineering."
"Understood," Rachel responded," what about you sir?"
"I'll try to find a way to get out of here," Jason responded," this is nothing."
OOC: Well it seems that my dear cadet has dissappeared and I want to stay active. So I've locked myslef in, lol. Will I get out or die trying?

Tiffany signed in on one of her consoles, monitoring the Shipwide Status and the Sensor Readings.
Tiffany asked, "What are your orders sir?"
She was awaiting orders, hoping that she didn't mess up at helms because the crew's lives depended on her keep them out of the line of fire.
She also was once again thinking of her simple life in 2007. She wondered if her family had changed or remembered her. Or know that she had gone. She remembered what the doctor said, to look in the archives, which is what she planned on doing after the mission.
She was worried about the ambassador. ~I hope he is alright. I hope our crew stays safe and that I don't fail the crew on this ship.~

Tovan pushed the engines of the Delta Flyer to their safety limits. Flying at high warp could be challenging, as the energy to keep it going caused some fluctuations in the warp coils. He glanced over his shoulder at Crystal to make sure he was performing adequately.
<Tag Crystal>
He was being slightly conservative, as it would be illogical to risk the destruction of the ship for only a few more minutes off the ETA. While he piloted, he also ran a quick ETA calculation in order to respond to S'Reena's query.
"Estimated time to intercept, 15 minutes 30 seconds ma'am," he reported.

Kang checked his weapons he had his phaser as well as his d'k tahg which he kept on him at all times. He'd had the knife since his age of acension ritual.
Cadet Crusser walked up, the kid appeared nervous "What can we do?" said Crusser.
Kang thought about it for a moment, "Well we don't know the situation, who or what we're up against or even where we're going, so I'd say we wait and see what develops and take it from there."
"Can we use the Transporter on the Ambassador. " said Crusser to Kang.
"Hard to say at the moment" Kang answered "they could have a forcefield or anynumber of things to prevent using a transport, I suggest you just take it easy until we get there and then we'll work on a plan once we know more."
Kang watched as Crusser nodded and then walked over to Commander Hope asking some more questions, before long he returned.
"What do you think about the kidnapping of the Ambassador." he asked
"Maybe it's a political move, whoever took the Ambassador might expect us to negotiate for his return, maybe they'll try to ransom him for weapons, technology, money, you know about as much as I do" Kang replied.

"We trained on similar craft at the Academy, but I've never flown one in a combat situation before, and I am slightly...apprehensive."
“Good for you,” Crystal nodded, noticing that Tovan seemed reluctant to admit that he was nervous. “If you ever get completely used to flying into space combat, you'll use a certain edge you have. So...apprehension helps, because it means you're definitely not complacent.”
Crystal watched Tovan carefully over his shoulder. She was actually very impressed with his ability to pilot the ship, and pilot it well. Not only was he not crashing, which Crystal had hoped everyone learned prior to being actually asked to pilot a ship, he was also successfully intercepting another ship which was also traveling at warp.
"Estimated time to intercept, 15 minutes 30 seconds ma'am," Tovan reported to S'reena.
Crystal certainly didn't want to distract Tovan right now by asking nonsensical questions, not that her questions were ever nonsensical, at least she hoped not. But she hadn't planned on idle chatting anyway, just the few relevant questions to make sure all was proceeding well.
“What's the location and heading of the ship we're following?” Crystal asked.

Sitting in the back of the shuttle Kang examined his phaser once more while his mind drifted back to his days in the KDF, suddenly he had an idea, standing up he announced " excuse me, can I have everyones attention, I think I've figured out how we can pull this off, its a bit unorthodoxed but considering we have no idea how many we're facing aboard that shuttle it's our best shot." looking around the shuttlecraft to make sure everyone was listening he continued. " A shuttle craft can only hold so many people, so heres the plan, we catch up to the shuttle and board her, I go in first, reason being is I can probably sustain more damage than anyone else here, In the KDF part of our training was to see how many phaser blasts we could sustain before being knocked out, mine was seven. We Klingons are built for combat we have multiple organs along with an ectoskelaton therefore with me going in first, everyone else stays behind me like shield I'll take the brunt of the first shots and probably getting off a few in return and if you think about it who in this shuttle would you shoot at first if you were them. The rest of you pick your targets call em out and shoot straight, recover the admiral first secure him onboard and if necessary leave me behind if not then recover me last if I fall, anyone seeing a flaw in this better speak up cause we're running out of time"

"Well, if no one is going to volunteer to come with me, I'll leave you in the Doctor's capable hands."
Konal made her way to the Jeffries tube access. She knelt down, feeling the floor in front of her first to make sure she didn't kneel on a tribble. It took her a couple of minutes to unlatch the panel in the dark, using only her tricorder as a light source. She made a mental note to inventory the ship's emergency gear, and it's location, the next time she had free time.
As she was leaning down to enter the tube, she heard a struggle behind her. Caitlin and Connor were clearly having an interchange, and judging from Mr. Stephen's unusually over-concerned tone, it wasn't something Konal should be leaving for Doctor Brelev to handle in the dark. She turned back around, and her most stern motherly voice, confronted the altercation that was happening in the dark.
"WHAT is going on here? I turned my back for two minutes and you clearly are not working toward a solution." Konal, for the first time since the current mission started, was angry. T'Pren, unfortunately, was guilty by association.
<Caitlin, Connor, T'Pren>
"I suggest, we work together here to try and find a solution to this. This.. This hypospray business-" Konal had found Caitlin by this time, and forcefully grabbed the hypospray from her hand, "-is not going to be tolerated."
Unfortunately, it was going to have to be tolerated. Cadet Stephen's through his subsequent actions, was clearly exhibiting problems associated with the infusion. Without the lights on, Doctor Brelev was having trouble finding something to counter the onslaught of emotions coming from the cadet.
"Cadet Isis, you can expect me to file an official complaint to Commander Hope about your actions. You have purposefully contributed to a chaotic situation. You have purposefully administered medication to a patient without their permission. You have not acted with integrity, and this will not be tolerated." She breathed heavily at her long winded angry discourse. Caitlin responded, however, from behind, having moved since her last vocalization.
<Isis>
Doctor Brelev, probably still in shock at Konal's outburst - even hough it was justified - responded, first turning on the light source she had found.

Stephens felt himself being thrown--what was it with all the throwing around today, anyway? Bulkheads, floors, and now being thrown again--into a maelstrom of emotion whose currents he could not resist. Woman, women, one man, an overpowering need to possess one, two, many, all. He groaned and quivered and shrieked like a warrior after his first kill.

Stephens was astounded at Konal Manto's outburst, but it seemed right, too. Fiery and strong, the way a woman ought to be. There were women in here, and he was hot for the chase. He remembered something about being a science officer, but clearly and more importantly, he was a man aroused for the hunt. The thought of T'Pren sent him over the edge, and he made a lunge to get at her in the darkness.

As he piloted the Delta Flyer, Tovan considered Commander Shinsei's words. Logic would seem to indicate that such emotional distraction would hinder combat flight, rather then help it. However, he realized, the nervousness often released adrenaline, which could improve reaction time and actually clear the mind. Perhaps there was something to these emotions after all...
"What is the location and heading of the ship we're following," Crystal asked.
With a quick glance on the tactical readout, he replied, "Enemy vessel bearing oh-oh-five mark 1-zero. Distance...5 light days and closing."
Just then, Cadet Mek'tor outlined his plan. Although at first it seemed logical, Tovan quickly noticed a few flaws.
"We have no way of knowing what organization the attackers will be in. We could be surrounded upon beam-in. I would suggest using Cadet Kang as a shield initially, but we should all attempt to find cover, as soon as possible after beam in."

Tiffany spoke to the Admiral, "I've lost the warp engines." She shook her head. ~ I can't believe this is my first chance at piloting and I lose warp engines! This is just great. Well I know it was not something I did, which is good that I know the console. And I know when I make mistake, the bad thing is its not me, because if it were me it could be corrected. But its not me. Well, at least I know i won't be getting into any trouble from my instructor.~

As T'Pren registered that she was being held responsible for the situation created by Cadet Isis and her hypospray, she heard a bellow from behind her in the darkness. Suddenly, she felt a flying body slam into her, and they both crashed to the floor. It was Connor. In his uncontrollable lust, he had lunged at her and borne her to the ground. He locked his lips on hers, and gripped her so tight, she began to wonder if she would be able to breathe. Struggling, T'Pren began to fight off Stephens' attack, when suddenly a voice said why are you fighting this? You know you want him. T'Pren realized that the voice was coming from inside her head, and that it was probably Isis. She slammed her personal mental shields down, and redoubled her efforts to free herself from Stephens' grip. He was locked on with a primal lust, and a strength far beyond his normal ability. Finally unfastening his mouth from hers, T'Pren managed to call for Commander Manto. She hoped that either the Commander or the Doctor would be able to pull Stephens off of her. Suddenly, she heard the hiss of a hypospray, and approximately 2.3 seconds later, Stephens went limp. T'Pren was relieved. "Thank you, Doctor." she said into the darkness "That wasn't the Doctor," replied a voice "That was me." T'Pren identified the voice as Cadet Isis. "Were you planning for this to happen, Cadet?" she inquired, "Or was this for your benefit, and it simply got out of hand?" "Oh, I assure you, I was not counting on him going for you, Vulcan." said Isis. "I didn't figure on a Vulcan being his type." "Nor did I, Cadet." replied T'Pren. "Your little experiment is about to land you in some VERY hot water, Cadet Isis." boomed Commander Manto. "Dispensing medications not once, but twice, without a license. Causing this disturbance, and endangering the lives of your crewmates. Consider yourself on report." she said.
<Isis>
"Doctor, I recommend you keep Mr. Stephens here for a while until he's had some time to recover from his ordeal." said T'Pren. Then she blushed a light olive, rare for a Vulcan "Wouldn't you say so, Commander?"
<Konal> <Connor>
"Meanwhile, I will see about the power failure on this deck, and perhaps the Commander and I can rectify the situation."
"Oh, and Cadet Isis?" T'Pren turned to face Caitlin. "Take this back to your quarters and keep it confined to the ship, please." And handed her the tribble.

Stephens' pheromone-soaked brain was capable of nothing except the lusty and passionate desire to possess T'Pren, and to possess her completely. All other impulses were overwhelmed and overridden, and the smell of her, the feel of her flesh against his, were his triumphant right. Howling as he leaped, he found her in the darkness, and, consumed by his desire, enfolded her in his strength and pressed his mouth to hers.
Dimly he felt her struggle against him, and it seemed so right. The hunted fought back, making sport of his need. Her struggle drove him on, feeding his insatiable need for her. There was nothing left in the universe except her body and his.
As if from far away there were voices, but he did not heed them; alarmed, he felt her pull away, and in that instant, he felt a cold metallic sensation at his neck. In his heightened sensory awareness, the touch of the metal thrilled him and caused him to quiver with anticipation. There was a hiss close to his ear, loud in his hot agony. He gasped with joy.
And then everything faded and he felt nothing more.

ooc: moving along our bit...cadets you're supposed to move forward not just wait for your instructors to tell you what to do. And please write more than 3 lines in response....
ic:
It didn't take long before the flyer finally overtook the fleeing shuttle. Kang and Crusser prepared to assault the shuttle, while Crystal and Tovan would keep the flyer level with the fleeting shuttle. Methos would stay with them on the flyer to protect them and man the weapons, while S'reena would go with the two cadets.
"Ready?" she asked them both, knowing that cadets were never entirely ready to act on an assault order. "Crusser, keeps scanning for the ambassador, and warn us when hostiles approach. Keep your phasers on level 3 stun, we don't want them to get up to soon!"
(Crusser/Kang...elaborate on how you feel on doing this)
"Good. Being nervous isn't bad, the first time is always scary. Yes, for a Klingon as well Mr Kang, trust me. If you're not nervous, you get reckless. I've been in that situation and it nearly cost me my life. Now...Methos prepare to beam us over to that vessel after you've disabled their shields."
As Methos deflty rid the vessel of its protection, the three starfleet officers were transported to the other vessel.
(Crusser/Kang, elaborate on finding Davis..and yes you are to find him for it to fit with my next lines)
After a while, S'reena stood face to face with the abducted ambassador. "Take him back to the flyer," she ordered, "we've no time to spare." Beams of fire shot over their heads as they ran off, barely missing the four of them. "Hurry!" S'reena cried as she fired blindly over her shoulder, hoping to slow their pursuers down.
(Crusser/Kang, elaborate on getting back, with Davis, and how our hostiles respond)

The transporter energized and soon the interior of the shuttlecraft changed to the interior of another shuttlecraft, the one they were pursuing, looking around Kang attempted to locate the ammbassador, however one of the kidnappers saw him and turned, while attempting to draw his phaser, Kang shot once, then again just to make sure as the kidnapper went down. The shuttles interior was dark and therefore it was hard to make out the identities of the kidnappers, however one thing was certain they definitely weren’t human. This in itself turned out to be a good thing as it made locating and identifying the ambassador easier.
Tag Crusser : you can locate the Ambassador
After a while, S'reena stood face to face with the abducted ambassador. "Take him back to the flyer," she ordered, "we've no time to spare." Beams of fire shot over their heads as they ran off, barely missing the four of them. "Hurry!" S'reena cried as she fired blindly over her shoulder, hoping to slow their pursuers down.
Covering Crusser and the Ambassador Kang positioned himself behind some crates nearby, anyone heading towards the transporter would come directly in his line of site. “GO” Kang shouted and moments later watched as Crusser with the Ambassador draped over his shoulder dematerialized. Turning his attention back to the corridor he could hear the firefight still raging ahead, Although he’d been ordered to return to the shuttlecraft Kang however wasn’t going to return S'reena or anyone else. Heading towards the firefight Kang reached S'reena, plopping down beside her he looked over at her and said “Crusser took the Ambassador back , figured you could use some help” and started firing back at the kidnappers.

Methos used tactics, instead of brute force, when he disabled the fleeing ship's shields. As soon as he did, he transported the three members of the assualt force over. He kept a transporter lock on them, while the shuttle was evading enemy fire. Every now and again, Methos would target the enemy's weapons array.
After a few shots, his fire was not returned. "Commander Shinsei, their weapons are down, if you can get us closer to the cruiser," Methos said. As he watched his sensors for the away team finding the ambassador, he noticed that there was occasional weapons fire on the cruiser. As soon as the away team found the ambassador and were making their way back to the transport site, they came under heavy disrupter fire. Cadet Crusser and the ambassador left the other two and made it to the transport site without incident.
Methos quickly energized the transporters. The two materialized and took their seats. Methos was still trying to get a lock on the other two, but cadet Kang was engaged in hand to hand combat with one of the crew of the cruiser.
"Crusser, I am going to transport three people back. I want you to stun the extra person," Methos ordered Crusser. As Crusser got up and went to the back of the flyer, Methos energized the transporters again, and as soon as they materialized, he said, "Get us out of here Commander. He heard phaser fire in the back of the fire and an explicit remark from Crusser. Methos grabbed a phaser and went back there.
When he got there, he noticed that there were four people on the ground. One was Commander Hope, one was Cadet Kang, the third was the crewman of the cruiser, and the fourth was Ambassador Davis. Methos quickly scanned everyone for life signs and saw that everyone except Davis was alive. Methos took Crusser's phaser and told him to go to the front of the flyer and wait for further instructions.
Methos took out a medkit and revived Commander Hope. "Commander, as you see, we have a prisoner. However, Ambassador Davis is dead. I didn't think that a phaser set on wide stun would kill a human. I had Crusser go to the front of the cockpit, if you want to question him."

Jenny couldn’t believe it. Her first mission on a new ship, and already all the systems were failing. They had lost power on two decks, and now something had caused the warp drive to go offline. Commander Smith was busy up on the upper level, barking out repair orders, Jenny had been assigned to try to restore power to deck five, sickbay being given a priority status.
She couldn’t understand what had caused the power to go. When they had left spacedock, everything had checked out as operational, but now systems just seemed to be failing left, right and centre.
From what her console told her, power to deck five should have been working. It seemed that there was something on the deck itself interfering with the power distribution. Grabbing a repair kit from the storage locker, and an engineering tricorder, she decided to make her way to deck five itself, and see if she couldn’t find the source of the problem with a visual inspection.
Still in Engineering, Chief Engineer Max Smith was busy cursing the console infront of him. As with all the other systems that had lost power, his console was telling him that the warp engines should be working fine, but the fact remained that the core was offline. Hitting it with frustration, he keyed in another series of commands, attempting to reinitialise the warp core.
Location: Bridge.
“What do you mean we have lost warp drive?” Drew asked as he left his chair and walked down to the conn, “what else can go wrong on this ship?”
“I don’t understand Admiral,” Tiffany replied, “all systems check out.”
Drew looked over the console, and confirmed that Tiffany was correct. According to the computer, everything should have been fine.
Letting out a deep sigh, Drew walked over to the Operations station, which was currently being manned by one of Commander Reynolds assistants. Relieving the officer, Drew logged himself into the system, and began running diagnostic programs. Regardless to what the computer said; there was clearly a problem with the ship somewhere.
Location: Deck Five.
Jenny left the jeffery tube, and pulled out her flash light. The deck itself seemed to be deserted; she presumed that most people were trapped in the rooms, and that anyone who was not had left the deck for one that had power. Using her light to guide the way, she walked towards the power distribution console that she knew was on the far right wall.
Location: Engineering.
Much to Commander Smith’s frustration, the warp core was still failing to initialise. Already he had tried all the ways he knew off to try to restore power, but nothing seemed to be working. It was starting to become obvious that someone had planted a jamming device of some kind on the ship, and that it was the cause of all their problems. They just had to find where it was.
Location: Bridge.
As Drew suspected, the diagnostics all came back positive; everything aboard the Hanson should have been working. That left only one possibility. Someone had sabotaged the ship, cancelling the reminder of the scans; Drew switched to internal sensors, and began scanning the ship deck by deck. If there was anything alien aboard his ship, he was going to find it.
Location: Deck Five.
Pulling back the wall panel, Jenny used her flash light to explore the circuitry. One look at the gel pack told her instantly what the problem was; the usual blue gel was a murky green colour. Opening her repair kit, Jenny pulled out a spare gel pack, and began the process of replacing the faulty unit.
Location: Bridge.
The security scans had got as far as scanning deck seven when the detection alert started to sound. Pulling up the status screen, Drew examined the results; whatever was jamming their power was located on deck seven, section ten.
“Commander Daya, follow me,” Drew said, leaving Ops and moving towards the turbolift door, “Drew to Commander Smith, meet us on deck seven, with a full repair team.”
Location: Engineering.
When the Admiral’s message came through, Max Smith called out to give of his best engineers, and promptly left Engineering. Max was sure that the Admiral had reached the same conclusion that he had; that there was a jamming device somewhere on the ship. The Admiral had hopefully found the location of that device.
Reaching deck seven, Max teamed up with Admiral Drew and Commander Daya, who had just stepped out of the turbolift.
“Commander Smith,” Drew said when he saw the Engineer approach, “I do believe we have an unwanted device aboard.”
“I think you may be right sir,” Smith replied.
“In which case, I suggest we follow Commander Daya here,” Drew said, indicating for the Security Chief to lead the way to where the sensors claimed the device was hidden.
Location: Deck Five.
Jenny took out the faulty gel pack, and after testing the replacement, began to install it. It was a simple process really; the gel pack technology was now standard throughout the fleet and easily replaced. Jenny was unsure if replacing the unit would actually restore power, but much to her surprise, almost as soon as she did so, the lights on the entire deck came back on.
Location: Deck Seven.
“Well, credit where credit is due,” Smith said, picking up the tiny black device they had found hidden inside the power distribution panel on the deck, “I have never seen anything like this, its no wonder our standard scans didn’t pick up on it.”
“Mr. Daya,” Drew said, taking the device from Smith and passing it along to the Security Chief, “take it to the science lab and have them begin tests to find out what it is, Mr. Smith, get me warp drive back online.”
The two officers nodded in understanding, and left. Drew watched the two go, and then with one last look at the panel, left himself for the bridge.
A short turbolift trip later, Drew was back on the bridge, taking his command chair, he spoke to Tiffany.
“Cadet, warp drive should be back online any second now, set a course to intercept our shuttle, proceed at full impulse, and take us to warp as soon as you are able.”
OOC: And we have power! Science, find out what the device is, we need to somehow be able to link it to the Breen, who are our intended villains for this mission. Tiffany, you can post getting the warp drive back, and taking us out to meet the shuttle.
To those on the shuttle, follow Commander Hope’s lead.
