“My phaser will hit her before yours hits me,” he said as he entered the turbolift, “and at this range, even a stun setting will kill.”
"Lower your weapons," S'reena confirmed his order, shifting uncomfortably in Drew's strong grip. She could of course try to fight him, but what good would that do? He had the element of surprise, not to mention the weapon pressed against her back and no doubt a finger ready to press down and fire. No, fighting wouldn't do her any good.
At the moment Drew started pulling her backwards towards the turbolift, Cadet Hatchet stormed from a newly arrived car.
"Drew let her go you dont want to do this!!!"
"Indeed," the Romulan agreed, "imagine what this will do to your impeccable carreer. Kidnapping a senior officer, sabotaging the ship..." Drew answered by pressing his weapon harder against her back, tightening the grip on her arm with his free hand. She winced, but didn't fight him. "Hatchet, put your weapon down," she ordered the cadet, pleased to see him obey her order.
"Drew take me let her go i am willing to go freely."
"No," S'reena cried, "no cadet, you are to seek out your instructor. And look to Commander Shinsei for orders. She's in command as of now. Obviously my orders can't be trusted right now for I have a weapon aimed at me."
"why are you doing this drew tell me"
Drew never answered the cadet's demanding question, beaming both himself and his first officer off the bridge. S'reena reeled as she materialised, then found herself shoved down on a container and was told to remain there and not move.
"The cadet's question was valid," S'reena commented, glaring up at Drew, "why are you doing this? And who are you? The Paul Drew I know would not pull a weapon on me like that, not without just cause and I have done nothing to give just cause." She paused as he aimed the phaser at her and for a moment feared he would fire.
"You won't get away with this," she finished, "abduction and sabotage are serious offenses."

“Jones and Shinsei, prep a shuttle and prepare to head out there. I want you to take a good look out the window and report on what you see.”
Crystal wasn't sure that was the best of options, since, if necessary, neither of them would be able to lead the Hanson through evasive maneuvers. But there were plenty of other pilots on the Hanson that could handle things, just usually didn't when Crystal had a student. “Ready to go?” Crystal checked with Jones, before handing off the navigation console to Lieutenant Narith.
They were still running through a quick check that the shuttle was operational, and waiting for Commander Methos, when Admiral Drew transported into the shuttlebay, holding a phaser to Commander Hope's back. “Stay here,” Crystal whispered to Cadet Jones, trying to head out slowly, so Admiral Drew wouldn't notice her and she could catch him by surprise. Apparently she moved too slowly, as Drew didn't wait for long, before transporting elsewhere: maybe to somewhere else in the shuttlebay, or in the ship. Crystal didn't know, but the bridge could find out. Speaking of which, she should be in charge now, since apparently Drew had kidnapped S'reena, for no reason Crystal knew of.
“Change in plans, Cadet,” Crystal told Jones. “We're going back to the bridge.” She weighed briefly the idea of keeping a guard over the shuttlebay, before she realized that the bridge should be able to prevent the launching of any shuttles. Unless they thought the shuttle was her, which she'd have to stop. =/\=Commander Shinsei to...bridge. Don't authorize any shuttles to leave the Hanson=/\=
Crystal would love to know what was up with Admiral Drew, she had never known him to act like this before. But...sometimes people did strange things. Crystal knew that. Crystal was in enough of a hurry that she found herself running toward the bridge. The turbolift forced her to calm down, but only a little. At least it seemed to be behaving itself just now.
“Report,” Crystal ordered, coming out onto the bridge. She was brought up to speed somewhat by people on the bridge, including being informed that Drew had done something in Engineering. “Commander Reynolds?” Crystal asked. “How much Engineering experience do you have? Enough that you'd feel comfortable investigating what Admiral Drew did and how to fix it, or not?” Crystal thought the Operations officer was a logical choice for this sort of thing, but she wasn't sure.
Then Crystal turned to other bridge members. “Are they still on the ship?” Crystal asked, and received the answer that, for now, Paul and S'reena were. “Scan for their lifesigns,” Crystal said. “Try to track down where they are.”
“We've found Commander Hope's lifesigns, and these seem to be Commander Drew's, but they seem a little off,” the officer temporarily manning the science station.
“Where?” Crystal asked.
“I haven't been able to pinpoint it yet,” he replied.
“How so 'off'?” Crystal muttered out loud, not sure what that would mean. But the current science officer didn't know, and was working on finding Admiral Drew and Commander Hope first. =/\=Commander Shinsei to Commander Manto, could you please come to the bridge as soon as possible? There's something I need you to look at.=/\=

Methos was entering the shuttlebay just as Crystal and cadet Jones were leaving.
"Commander any Idea what is going on?" He asked.
She filled him in on what was happening with Drew and S'reena. He nodded and slipped into the shuttlebay. He crouched and duck-walked his way to where he could observe the Admiral. When he got closer, he noticed that Drew had a phaser drawn on Commander Hope. He worked his way around to where S'reena would see him if she was looking and waited for a sign.
He never got one, even though she looked towards him but he couldn't tell if she saw him, Drew and S'reena entered one of the shuttles and, as the door was closing, Methos jumped in behind them.

=/\=Computer, locate... =/\= Konal panted from the jogging, =/\=Admiral Drew=/\=
~/\~Admiral Drew is in shuttle ba..~/\~
Konal's transmission was cut short by a communique from Colonel Methos. After following the Admiral and the Commander into a shuttle, the Admiral had locked the shuttle door and beamed out and raised integrity shielding. Without access codes, all he could do was communique out.
"I'll get security on that right away." Konal knew that it would probably be awhile, with security in hot pursuit, but she didn't want the Colonel to worry.
Ending the communique, she found herself holding a bulkhead, gasping for breath. She never realized how dependent she became on the transporter system. As she turned to leave, the Admiral and Commander materialized in front of her.
"Hold it right there!" Konal yelled, accessing the console to erect a force field around the two. The forcefield erected, but not due to Konal's actions. The Admiral, holding Hope hostage, started pecking at the console in front of the holodeck.
"You're not Admiral Drew!" Konal exclaimed. Not only were his actions not commendable- he was using his left hand to manipulate the console. "I specifically remember the Admiral being right handed." The Commander widened her eyes, acknowledging Konal's comment without letting the false Admiral know she was doing so. Apparently, she had already come to this conclusion.
On the other side of the forcefield, Hatchet approached Admiral Drew as he was distracted by Konal's disbelieving statement.
"Where is the Admiral? And who are you?" Konal was stalling until the security Cadet could remove the combadge from the Admiral. It seemed to be his way of transporting from site to site.
Commander Daya hid around the corner, not wanting to spoil the situation that the Cadet had accidentally put himself into. If he could now use his proximity to his advantage, the crew could get to the bottom of this. He could even get a commendation - he fancied. Saving and Admiral. The thought made him nervous, but determined.
Konal's sites weren't on such glories. She just wanted to get back to work. This mission, although weird, was pretty much the tempo of the Hanson missions. Last mission the Ambassador was abducted. This time, perhaps the Admiral. She would talk to Daya and Methos later to determine what could be done in the future to prevent this before it happens- instead of playing predator and prey when it does.
The Admiral had not responded, but Hatchet's locale had not been uncovered yet either, so Konal continued.
"Well - maybe if you tell us some of your demands, we can help?"
The Admiral -- admiral look-alike - looked up from his work, as if he was considering the offer. He quickly returned to it, keeping an eye on the middle aged Cardassian.
"Maybe if you lower the force field, we can talk..." but Konal didn't get any further in her sentence when Cadet Hatchet made a lunge for the Admiral, removing his combadge, and causing him to drop his phaser. After a scuffle with S'reena and Hatchet, the clone Admiral Drew managed to deactivate the forcefield and make a run for it. Hatched secured the phaser, tossed the combadge to Konal, and went after the false Admiral.

There was never any time for Drew to properly answer her questions. One moment she was told to sit tight, the next she was ushered into a shuttle, only to be beamed out together with Drew to yet another location. There, at the holodeck, they were confronted by Commander Manto, who looked to be completely out of breath.
While still held at the aim of a weapon, S'reena made a mental note to discuss the science chief's physical condition with the real admiral Drew, as soon as he was recovered from wherever he was really held. She made a point of standing absolutely still as she didn't want this wannabe Drew get triggerhappy. Thus, she listened to Konal's comments and she smiled to herself; at last someone else had noticed as well.
What she didn't and couldn't know, however was that Konal was stalling for Hatchet and the Romulan only became aware of the young cadet when he sprang at Drew and snatched his combadge. Together they worked Drew to the ground but the admiral surprisingly shook them both off and made a run for it. "Daya, stay with Konal," S'reena ordered, then pointed after the quickly retreating admiral. "Hatchet, after him!"
As the cadet sprang up, S'reena climbed to her feet and made pursuit also while tapping her combadge. "Shinsei, get your cadet and Commander Reynolds to take a shuttle. I want to see what is out there. There has to be something out there where Admiral Drew can be held prisoner. We have to find him, we've no time to waste! Find him commander and get him back!"

Meanwhile aboard the unknown ship…
Alone once more in his cell, Drew sat against the cold wall and reflected on his situation. He knew it had only been a few hours since his abduction from the Hanson, but what he did not know was where he was. There had been a brief battle, presumably against the Hanson, but for the last hour or so nothing had happened, a high speed ship could leave the sector in that time.
He had not seen much of his captors; they had performed some kind of medical procedure and then returned him to his cell. Since then he had been alone, the humming of the force field generator the only sound he could hear.
After what seemed like hours, that sound was accompanied by another; undoubtedly the sound of footsteps. Rising to his feet, Drew straighten down his uniform jacket, which was minus a comm badge, and waited for his visitor to arrive.
He did not have to wait long, after a few minutes two armed masked men appeared outside his cell. Without the universal translator built into his comm badge Drew was unable to understand what they were saying to each other, but from the tone he presumed it was a disagreement of some kind. Whatever they were arguing about the two seemed to resolve it quickly, while one armed his phaser at Drew, the other lowered the forcefield. Drew did not need a universal translator to understand what they wanted; he was being moved yet again.
As the two guards led Drew out into the corridor they resumed their argument. It seemed to Drew as if they were arguing about the best course of action, one of the guards kept gesturing with his hand as if trying to prove a point while the other shook his head in a mocking way.
“You know, you really should resolve your differences before coming to work,” Drew said sarcastically as he was led into another room, “you are ruining my idea of you having a united front.”
For his cheek, Drew was hit over the head with the butt of one of the guard’s phasers. Crying in pain Drew fell to the ground, clutching the back of his head, however, his suspicion was correct, his captors were capable of understanding Federation standard without a translator; that meant they were connected to an organisation known to Starfleet.
Then something totally unexpected happened, as one of the guards bent to drag Drew back to his feet, the other guard opened fire and shot his accomplice in the back. Letting out a cry of shock the wounded guard fell to the deck.
The attacker looked down at his victim, and then walked towards Drew, leaning offering him. Drew braced himself, fully expecting to also be shot, but then he got his second surprise; the guard removed his helmet and he was human!
“Don’t worry about him Admiral, the phaser is set to stun, now if you would like to follow me, we have to get you back to your ship.”
Drew pushed himself back to his feet and stared at the man in shock, finding his voice he angrily said;
“What the hell is going on?”
“I’ll explain everything once we are aboard the Hanson, for now all you need to know is that I am a friend,” the human rolled up his sleeve to revel a Starfleet comm badge pinned to his glove.
“Fine,” Drew replied, “I presume you have a way of this ship?”
“Just follow me and do what I say,” the guard smiled.
Seeing that he had no other choice, Drew nodded his head in agreement and followed his new found friend.

"Daya this is S'reena," the Romulan replied in the cadet's stead. "We have captured Admiral Drew and are taking him to sickbay. Catch up with Commander Manto and meet us back in sickbay. Something is terribly wrong here, and I want the doctor to figure this out for us."
S'reena nodded at Hatchet. "Get us to sickbay," she ordered.
(Hatchet)
Seconds later the three officers materialised in the middle of sickbay and S'reena and Hatchet carried the unconscious admiral over to a biobed and gently placed his prone form upon it. "Guard him," S'reena ordered as she moved over to the CMO's office, where she met up with her husband. "Admiral Drew was shot, after acting very perculiar. Keep an eye on the rest of sickbay while we take care of the admiral."
Michael regarded his wife with a certain amount of surprise, but he understood the need for discretion even if the misconduct had been announced all over the ship by now. "Of course," he answered, "I'm sure Konal knows what she has to do. Call me if you need my help?"
The Romulan nodded and returned to join Hatchet at the foot of Drew's bed. "Tell me cadet, how do you evaluate the admiral's behaviour? What could've caused it you think? I've never seen him act this way before, certainly not train a weapon on me without cause. I know he has a certain level of distrust of me, but not like this."
(Hatchet and everyone else who ought to get to sickbay, pronto!)

"ok who are you and what have you done with the real Admiral Drew" he asked the impostor.
the impostor glared at him and ignored the question so Paul asked him again "Who are you and what have you do with the real Admiral Drew" he glared at the impostor and tapped his comm badge.
"Commander hes not answering my questions maybe you'll have better luck"
Hatchet walked around phaser set to Maximum he didnt want to take any chances.
the impostor tried to grab the phaser and the security officer knocked him in the head. hatchet looked up and glared at the officer
"dont do that hand the tricorder so i can scan him" he said takin the tricorder he realized that the impostor was Drew but he was perfect clone"
"oh hell Commander take a look at these readings" he said handing the tricorder to her

S'reena, feeling rather ill at ease being in sickbay, took the tricorder from the cadet and glanced over the readings he had taken. She then glanced over at the vital signs as displayed on the monitor at the foot of his bed.
"Computer, display readings taken from Admiral Drew's last physical, and compare with current readings." The Romulan added a string of authorisation codes to get the readings, as she wasn't the CMO. She watched in amazement as patterns were overlain and showed a distinct discrepancy with earlier readings.
"This is not our Drew," she breathed, then grabbed the clone by the front of his uniform, bringing his face close to hers as she glared at him. "What have you done with my commanding officer," she snapped, "and you had better answer or so help me god, I'll skin you alive. And no security officer will stop me from doing so, trust me."
The clone merely smiled and shrugged. "I don't know," he answered, "I am Paul Drew, and I am commanding officer of the USS Hanson."
"Like hell you are," S'reena snapped, tossing the clone back onto the bed as if he were a rag doll. "Keep an eye on him," she ordered hatchet. "Shoot him if he so much as tries to sit up. I'm going back to the bridge."
The Romulan stalked out of sickbay and marched onto the bridge a scant 5 minutes later. "There's a ship out there that possibly holds Admiral Drew captive. Find it and prepare an assault team. We're going to get our captain back."

Daya was running down the corridor to wards sickbay, with Commander Manto close behind him. After meeting in the shuttle bay, they had been told to go to sickbay, where Daya assumed Admiral Drew was being held by Hatchet and S'reena. He entered sickbay, just as Commander Hope was asking for the readings from Drew's physicals, to no surprise from anyone they were not the same. "This is not our Drew," she breathed, then grabbed the clone by the front of his uniform, bringing his face close to hers as she glared at him. "What have you done with my commanding officer," she snapped, "and you had better answer or so help me god, I'll skin you alive. And no security officer will stop me from doing so, trust me."Daya stopped walking forward with a quick jolt, he was actually surprised to hear commander Hope saying something like that. He simply shrugged his shoulders in agreement and showed a one sided smile. He walked forward again and stood behind Hatchet who looked up at him questioningly, Daya just nodded and stepped back a foot, giving Hatchet all the room he needed.
I'm going back to the bridge." Daya had stepped forward in response to Sreena's actions, but stopped just short of pointing his phaser at her. Daya followed her out the door and called to her. "Commander, was that completely necessary?" S'reena stopped and turned on him, stopping just inches from his face. "Completely, commander." she said coldly, looking at Daya from eye to eye before walked off. Daya watched as S'reena turned a corner and left his view, with a sigh he turned back to sickbay and stepped inside. Daya looked up to see everyone watching him, apparently expecting something from him, as he just stormed out after the commander. "Hatchet!" Daya yelled, reaching for his phaser as the clone Drew sat up quickly and snatched Hatchet's phaser from his hands. Daya fired his weapon, hitting the clone in the shoulder, making him drop the phaser and cry out in minimal pain. "Cadet, come over here. Commander Manto can you keep an eye on him?" Daya asked motioning to wards Drew, who was now holding his right arm. "No matter what Commander hope tells you, you know what you must do as a security officer." Daya told the cadet, before allowing him to go back to work. "i would suggest you put up a force field around him, but your in charge in this case, its your choice" Daya said as he was leaving sickbay, holstering his phaser. <Tag Hatchet, Drew, Manto> Moments later Daya stepped onto the bridge, relieving a lieutenant from his station. "Looking for the admiral sir." the lieutenant said before leaving. Daya pressed a few buttons to set up a long range and short range scan of the area, first to search for ships, and then to search for warp signatures. Although neither scan showed anything, he did get readings of a warp trail. Putting it off until he scanned a couple more things, he finally decided it was the only thing left. "Commander, i have scans of a warp trail, a star cluster, and a few other spots were various scans couldn't reach. My guess is the radiation from the stars are creating a blind spot, but after adjusting the scanners, i found nothing. The only thing left is the warp trail." Daya looked over at S'reena, who looked back at him with a different look than he normally got from her. "follow it" she said, as Daya patched in the coordinates to the helm. Daya had continued making scans and patching coordinates to the helm for the past 10 minutes. He decided he should check on Hatchet and how he was doing down in sickbay. Bringing up a messing screen, he typed a simple message to him. Cadet Hatchet,
Progress report on the admiral, keep me informed if anything out of the normal happens, keep him confined and quiet
Lt. Commander Daya <tag Hatchet> A beep from Daya's quiet console brought everyone's attention to him. "romulan vessel ahead, bearing 352 point 95, scanning for life signs" Daya looked down at his console as the scans started working. 'please show me an admiral' he thought to himself, "thirty three life forms, one star fleet comm badge. its not the admiral's" Daya said, looking up at S'reena, semi sadly. With a look of epiphany , Daya started pushing buttons. "What is it commander?" He heard from his right, could have been commander hope or someone else. "I'm scanning for the admiral's bio signature ........got it!" "Get him out of there!" Commander Hope yelled, "coordinates locked, beaming to brig" Daya said, and as soon the transport had finished, he stepped away from his console and ran to wards the turbo lift, Commander Hope right behind him. =^=Daya to hatchet, if the clone is secure, report to the brig. Commander Manto report to the brig, medical emergency=^=. The doors to the brig opened and Daya saw 4 security members on guard, 'probably a shift change' he thought as the officers stood to the side and let him and the commander pass. Daya quickly went up to Drew's cell, "computer full body scan, show the result in the brig console, security clearance Daya bravo 4" the computer beeped and brought up the results from the scan, "now show me the admirals current physical results" With another beep the computer complied and Daya read over the results of both the test. "They are the same, welcome back admiral" Daya said, lowering the shield to the admiral's cell, allowing commander Manto to scan the admiral. <tag Drew>

As the transporter beam claimed him Drew was not sure what to expect next. He knew from the sensation that it was a Starfleet transporter, but given what he had just seen that did not mean it was the Hanson that he was going to materialize in.
However, seconds later his questions were answered, with great relief he realised that he was indeed aboard the Hanson. Then he noticed something that did worry him; rather than being in the transporter room he was in the brig, with four security guards looking at him.
“What’s going on?” Drew asked, just as Daya hurried into the room and began keying in commands to his console.
Drew heard him instructing the computer to perform bio scans and compare results, but he had no idea why Daya would be doing such a thing. Such things had been common during the Dominion War, but standard practice was just a quick check up in sickbay.
“They are the same” Daya suddenly said, a smile spreading across his face, “welcome back Admiral.”
“Thank you,” Drew replied, confused as the force-field faded and Manto hurried in with a medical tricorder.
“He is fine, nothing that a good night’s sleep and something to eat won’t resolve,” Manto said, snapping shut her tricorder.
“An excellent suggestion Commander,” Drew said as he stepped out of the holding cell, as he did so he also pulled Manto out before she could examine the starfleet/human guard who had beamed aboard with Drew. Safely out of the boundaries of the forcefield, Drew reactivated it, trapping his would be saver.
“Now, I think its time that you answered some questions,” Drew said, crossing his arms.
The man looked over at Drew and smiled.
“I guess I should have expected this,” he replied, walking over to sit down on the bench.
“As the mission is now complete, I can explain what has been going on.”
Drew, Daya and Manto all exchanged surprised looks, before Drew told their ‘guest’ to continue.
“I am working undercover for Starfleet Intelligence; we have been monitoring a group of pirates who we believed were illegally developing cloning technology in the hopes of trapping starships and replacing their captains.”
“That explains it,” Manto whispered under her breath, when Drew shot her a quizzing look, she shrugged and said, “I’ll explain later.” “So this was all a set up?” Drew asked, turning his attention back to the operator.
“Am afraid so,” the man replied, “we could not inform any of you about it, it was possible that if any clones were created they would retain your memories and knowledge and ruin the entire operation.”
“And now?” Drew asked.
“Now, I would suggest you get that ship in a tractor beam and send over a boarding party to secure it.”
“You heard the man Daya,” Drew said, as he deactivated the forcefield, “take Cadet Hatchet and secure the other ship, then we end back to Starbase Conqueror.”
“Aye Admiral,” Daya replied, as he left the brig and contacted Hatchet.
“Commander Manto, please sure our guest here to some quarters, no doubt we have something more welcoming than the brig?”
As Manto led the Starfleet Operative away, Drew straightened his uniform, and then left the brig as well. He knew that he should return to his quarters, but there was only once place he wanted to be right now.
As the turbolift doors closed behind him, he spoke one simple word;
“Bridge.”
OOC:
OK, Daya and Hatchet, take the other ship, once we have done that I think we should be finished.

"But I don..." Konal's plea for help was unanswered as everyone abandoned her with the prisoner. Who's idea was it to leave a potential threat outside the hands of security?
As if someone were reading her mind, a security officer arrived, and together they made their way to some temporary quarters. While it wasn't the brig, the quarters were not that great. A main bulkhead ran through the center of the room, making it the last choice for any Cadet wishing to secure optimal living arrangements. It was, therefore, unfurnished, and only had the minimal amounts of furniture per Starfleet regulations to call the place livable.
The Admiral pointed to the greens cultivating on the side of the room. His awareness was minimal. The sedative had kicked in.
"That's the real Admiral's own little project. I suggest you leave those alone." The row of plants, which were just beginning to germinate, were underneath some sort of apparatus administering high energy photons..
The false Admiral ignored the dirt in the corner of the room, and made himself comfortable on the bed, completely lethargic from the sedative given to him in sickbay. Konal had cut her speech short when she realized her dialog had turned into a monologue, and shuffled her aching body back to the bridge, leaving the security detail at the door. The Admiral had fallen asleep and would be no trouble.
A few minutes later, the turbolift doors opened to Admiral Drew giving direction on the bridge. It was so nice to have the real Admiral back, and the ship seemed to be back to working order.
She approached the Admiral. "I put him in the 'ugly' room." The 'ugly room', as Konal had heard it called, was the traditional name for the dreary room.
"Thankyou, Commander." The Admiral said, placing his left hand on the shoulder of the Science Officer. "If it weren't for you, we may not have solved this."
Konal blushed. "It's all in the line of duty."
The Admiral removed his hand, and tapped his combadge with it. "Daya, what's your status?"
The Admiral didn't have time to listen to the response. Commander Hope was standing behind him with a phaser pointed at his back.
"What is the meaning of this?" the Admiral said calmly.
Konal stood on the bridge, confused. This was the real Admiral... not the.. ... his left hand!!.... he had used his left hand again! This wasn't the real Admiral... but the scans.. the..
"I'll take care of things here...you go back and fetch the real Admiral."
Konal quickly left for the turbolift, replaying the events preceding this. The false Admiral must have switched himself with the real Admiral somehow... perhaps overriding the controls in the bio bed. The sedation didn't occur until after the undercover officer had briefed the crew, and after orders were given, otherwise the false Admiral would have stopped Daya and Hatchet wouldn't....
Konal was confused. She gave up on the replay. It would be sorted out later, in the debrief.
=/\= Commander Manto to Medical, you are needed in... in the ugly room... The Admiral has been sedated, and we need to bring him to.=/\=
Konal arrived at the room at the same time as medical, commanding the confused security officer to stand aside. The door to the room opened, and a hypospray was administered. Within a few minutes, the real Admiral came to, just as confused as everyone else. As that happened, S'reena had brought the real false Admiral down. "This is the one we need to keep behind closed doors."
The officers left the newly sedated false Admiral behind security detail and made their way back to the bridge.
Admiral Drew turned to Konal, and extended his right hand in thanks. Konal shook it whole-heartedly, laughing giddily as she did so. The real Admiral was back. He was, indeed, back.

OOC wow, that confused me a bit Konal IC “And now?” Drew asked.
“Now, I would suggest you et that ship in a tractor beam and send over a boarding party to secure it.”
“You heard the man Daya,” Drew said, as he deactivated the forcefield, “take Cadet Hatchet and secure the other ship, then we end back to Starbase Conqueror.”
“Aye Admiral,” Daya replied, as he left the brig and contacted Hatchet=^= Daya to cadet hatchet, head to the bridge we got a ship to reel in.=^= Daya steadily walked back to the turbolift, and narrowly missed making it. He stood for a few minutes waiting for the next one, and then entered. holding the door open in case someone from the brig were to show up and request a ride. He looked down at his feet and put his hands behind his back. "Bridge" he said, and then looked up realizing he had just closed the doors on the admiral. Saying a silent "sorry" he listened the to gently humming of the lift. When the door opened he walked off and took his place at the tactical controls, where he was starting to find the cloaked ship once again. He looked up as Cadet Hatchet entered the bridge, with a nod he waited until the cadet was next to him. "cadet, i want you to make a boarding party right now." The cadet nodded and quickly went about making the boarding party. Daya looked up once again when the admiral walked in, "Admiral on deck" He called out, before going back to his work. After doing a quick scan to see if he could find anything, he quickly changed the degree of the scan, and then isolated the warp trail. "Sir, i have the ship's position, but they are cloaked, I'm not sure we get a boarding party beamed on board, however if i change the spec's again, i may be able to find the exact position of the ship for around 2 and half second, maybe enough time to get one or two people on board." "take the cadet with you" the admiral said, taking a few seconds to think it over. "And we will find away to get you backup" Daya nodded and then left the bridge, with cadet Hatchet close behind. Heading down a few corridors, they reached the armory, where Daya grabbed a chest plate, and a rifle to go along with his phaser. He also grabbed a par of knives, "just in case" he said, handing on to Hatchet. After the cadet had grabbed whatever weapons he desired, he and Daya went to the transporter room. "All set admiral" Daya said, looking at the cadet with a bit of concern. "Cadet, no matter what happens over there, i want you to follow my every direction, whatever i tell you i want you to do it." The cadet nodded slowly, as if to say "but, you wont have to" Daya looked up at the ceiling, "Energize" Feeling the familiar sensation of the beams flowing through him, Daya could have sworn he heard from back on the Hanson the words, Good luck coming from commander Hope's mouth, but it might have been the officer in the transport room. Daya blinked when he felt his feet standing of firm ground once again, and instinctively, crouched down and moved to a wall. =^=Daya to Hanson=^= hearing only the crackling of an unanswered call on the other end, Daya took a deep breath and released a heavy sigh. "Alright cadet, looks like we are on our own here" Daya looked back at the cadet, and then slowly crept forward. Making little to no sound, the pair slowly advanced forward. The ship itself was rather dark, almost as if to make the ship less detectable. 'I might have to put some research into that' Daya thought to himself. Using hand signals, Daya halted the cadet behind him, and the ushered him over across the hall, providing rear protection. 'How are we gonna do this?' Daya thought, trying to think of a way to stop the ship, and get a full fledged boarding party aboard. Moving on down the hall way, Daya led them to what he thought was main engineering, or least a jeffries tube leading to it. "Gotta climb down" He whispered to the cadet. Daya motioned for the cadet to open the panel, Daya provided cover for him. <tag Hatchet(don't be shy use your imagination, just remember we are trying to be quiet)> As soon as the panel was open, the pair slowly climbed downward, as they did Daya could hear the muffled sounds of people on the other side, and then he heard his comm badge, crackling at first, then slowly coming in clearly. =^=.........to Daya.............do you............Hanson to Daya....you copy=^= Daya panickly ripped his comm badge off and throw it down the access way Daya and Hatchet were in, hearing the soft sounds of a voice slowly drifting away, Daya breathed slowly, looking down at the cadet, who was looking back up at him. Mouthing the f-word, Daya motioned for the cadet to keep going down, until they reached the other panel to enter main engineering. Daya waited until he could no longer hear any sounds from the bay, hoping that they had all moved on to find what the noise was. Quickly and quietly opening the panel, Daya crawled his way inside, followed by his cadet. Looking around, Daya pointed at one object, while Hatchet seemed to have found another. "you go there, I'll go here" Daya whispered. <tag Hatchet, use your creativity> Daya quickly moved up to the bulkhead he had found, and after quickly looking over the buttons, he knew he had found the warp drive. 'lets hope the other one is the cloaking device' Daya thought, before he whipped around and stared pushing buttons, 'cmon, simple romulan, you know this' Daya said, after finding himself stuck with a combination of buttons. "Cadet, shoot it" Daya called out, rolling away from his console and shooting the console, he listened as the soft hum of the warp drive quit, "get us out some back up!" Daya yelled, suddenly finding himself in a fire fight with a couple of romulans who rushed in. <tag Hatchet, I'm not going to leave you alone here,> Daya rolled away from a phaser shot, and fired his rifle, hitting one romulan in the shoulder, he dropped his weapon and crawled out of the door. The other, looking back received a blast to the chest and crumpled to the ground. Daya looked over at the cadet, who was having trouble taking care of three romulan security officers. Daya stood and fired once, hitting one officer in the right shoulder, knocking him down, then rushed the other two. "Cadet, backup, NOW!" Daya yelled as he tackled the other two officer, knocking the three of them out of view of the young cadet. <tag Hatchet> Daya quickly got his feet and pulled his knife free, staring down the two romulan officers. "cmon, who's first" he called out, before connecting with a punch to the left temple of the first officer, who fell to the floor. The second officer, rushed Daya who had spent to much time collecting himself from his last punch. Daya fell to the ground and the knife slid out away from him, receiving a punch to the face, Daya kicked the security officer off of him and rolled to his feet, grabbing his phaser, Daya fired at the officer and watched as he fell to the ground. Breathing heavily, he turned back to the engineering bay, where he heard the struggling of his cadet. <tag Hatchet> Running back into the bay, Daya was about to kick the pirate off the young cadet, but was beaten by another security officer, from the Hanson this time. "Its good to see you, Lt." Daya said, helping his cadet up. With the help of the other security officers, Daya and Hatchet quickly managed to find there ways to the bridge, where they subdoed the captain, and Daya received a phaser blast to his shoulder and one other officer was wounded, and then hailed the Hanson. "Lt. Commander Daya reporting, we have captured the vessel, all personnel have been confined" Daya rubbed away from blood from his lip and smiled at the Admiral looking back at him <tag Hatchet, go ahead and post for us reaching the bridge and taking it over> <tag Hanson> OOC i wanted to end it quickly, it was getting a little long

I think this is a good spot to end the mission at. I am going to go ahead and graduate Cadet Hatchet here. At the moment I do not have enough time to write a graduation post or properly write this up, so if any of you would like to, then please feel free.
To Hatchet, the Personnel Officer will be contacting you shortly with details of your assignment. It has been a pleasure to have you here on the Hanson, and the best of luck in S47.
