Tiberian understood the commanders orders, and, once he had signed off, pulled a backpack from the wall and began filling it with portable transporter inhibitors. ((OOC: The smaller kind, not the big ones from Star Trek: Insurrection)) Given that no one else had turned up yet, he left a message on the pad he was holding, telling his fellow cadets to equip themselves with the appropriate equipment, and to deploy in the key areas of the ship. Securing his phaser on his waist and slinging a phaser rifle over his shoulder, he exited the armoury. His first stop was Engineering, where he set about securing the transporter inhibitors in all the key areas of the room. Next he proceeded via turbolift to the bridge, where he continued placing transporter inhibitors, much to the amusement of the present bridge crew. As he arrived on the sickbay deck he paused, suddenly realising something he had failed to ask the commander. Tapping his comm badge, he said: "Cadet Wong to Commander Chan. Ma'am I'm sorry to bother you again, but I've just thought of something. I've begun setting up transporter inhibitors in key areas, but you never actually told me which area to leave unprotected. Should I leave an empty cargo bay, or do you think the target needs to be more appealing, like the battle bridge"

Should I leave an empty cargo bay, or do you think the target needs to be more appealing, like the battle bridge?" "Not battle bridge," answered Xin-Ling. "We may need later, and I want it kept available.
"Instead, I like cargo bay location. Keep non-security personnel out of chosen cargo bay... only armed and prepared security and marine cadets be there.
"Work with Engineering to see if they can make all other transporters appear not operational to scanners on pirates' ship. That way, we avoid suspicion about location of cargo bay being only usable access point to Hepta.
"Chan out."

-At the Briefing-
Jerri shook her head at their instructors words. "I'd like to see you still laughing after I've shown you cadet Ballar," he shot back, "report to holodeck one after this briefing for instruction."
"I didn't mean any disrespect Sir, I really want to see what you consider a proper autopsy." she said simply before following the doctor from the briefing as it ended.
-On the Holodeck-
Jerri and the other cadets followed their instructor to the holodeck and they all entered where he loaded the program.
"Computer, load program Autopsy training Ennien one. Interpret results as cadets work individually and enter their data into computers."
She looked at the body before her as their instructor spoke again. "You are to determine whether these three people died of natural or unnatural causes," Firestorm explained, "please ask for assistance if you aren't certain what to do. After all you're here to learn; to make mistakes on this first class is understandable. By the time you graduate however, you are expected to do this unassisted. Please commence your autopsy and refer to your manuals on how to proceed."
“Yes Sir.” Was all she said as her nose wrinkled as the smell of the bodies permeated the holodeck. This was one thing she would never get used to, the smell of dead flesh. She moved to the side of the slab which held the body which she was to examine, her eyes roaming from head to toe, taking in everything she could see or smell emanating from the body. It appeared to be an elderly woman, her body bruised and battered.
She began her examination, moving slowly and meticulously, verbally taking notes of what she observed knowing that the computer would automatically record anything she said during this time.
=/\= Computer begin recording =/\=
She bent over the body and began speaking as she worked her way over the cadaver.
=/\= The deceased appears to be an elderly woman, approximately 60 years old. =/\= she spoke clearly as her hands moved along the body observing several bruises and fractures. =/\= It appears she’d been beaten due to the evidence provided in the form of severe bruising and several fractures. =/\=
As she moved down the body she grimaced. The wounds were not made by nature means and that concerned her. How had this woman ended up on this slab in this condition? It was her job to find out and she would do her best, even though it was a hologram and a training program. She glanced up at the other students and her instructor before returning her attention to the body before her.

Jamison made it to the armory and discovered Cadet Wong had already left. There was a PADD on the work bench. Jamison picked it up and followed the instructions. He loaded his cargo bag, grabbed his phasers and headed out to the designated spots that Wong had suggested.
"Jamison to Wong. I have my inhibitors and I am on my way."

Firestorm looked up from his rounds among the three cadets when O'Connor walked in, immediately looking as though he was going to be violently sick. Yet he was pleased to hear that Vulcan authorities, if any, would allow him to perform the autopsies on the bodies of the unfortunate Vulcans. "Thank you commander," he answered, "that is indeed good news. Now, I suggest you depart this holodeck before I am forced to carry you out."
The commander had gone to looking quite pale and he seemed to be swaying on his feet. He looked rather relieved when it was suggested he depart and did so without further suggestion.
The Sivaoan doctor turned back to his three cadets, who were all working very hard on figuring out how their victims died.
=/\= The deceased appears to be an elderly woman, approximately 60 years old. =/\= she spoke clearly as her hands moved along the body observing several bruises and fractures. =/\= It appears she’d been beaten due to the evidence provided in the form of severe bruising and several fractures. =/\=
||The computer beeped an affirmative on the fracturing conclusion, but additionally beeped a negative when it concluded that the bruises were in fact not the result of a beating.||
Firestorm chuckled when he heard the computer's response and walked over to Ballar. "Bruising does not always result from taking a beating cadet Ballar," he said softly, "think of any other causes that may cause bruising. And what was the cause of her death? When did she die?"
Leaving the only female cadet to mull over his suggestions, he moved on to the other two. "How are you two doing?" he querried, gazing from Wolfram to Vayne.

Having heard Commander Chans orders, Tiberian moved out of the main corridor and down an empty corridor to his right. Stopping he said: "Computer, locate and identify for me the ships Chief Engineer" A few moments later the computer replied: "Chief Engineer Commander Samantha Parker is currently located on the bridge" Turning on heel Tiberian returned to the turbolift that he had exited moments ago, and headed for the bridge. As he exited the turbolift, he walked directly over to Commander Parker and snapped to attention, saying: "Ma'am, Cadet 4th Class Tiberian Wong. Permission to speak ma'am" A curt nod signalled Tiberian to go ahead. "Commander, myself and the other security cadets are installing transporter inhibitors throughout the ship in order to constrict the enemy's point of entry. In order to trap them we're leaving Cargo Bay One unshielded. Commander Chan has asked me to liase with you inorder to find someway of making the transporter inhibition field look natural, possibly due to radiation leaks etc, so as not to arouse the enemy's suspicions" All this was said very quickly, and after a short pause for breath he continued. "I have also been asked to ensure that all non-security personnel are evacuated from Cargo Bay One, ma'am"

She entered looking around. She saw a man who looked a lot like Commander O'Connor. SHe approached him. "Commander." she said, "Cadet Korra reporting for duty, sir. I apologize for being late, but my shuttle had a. ..malfunction." Her eyes, which always seemed like on fire, glistened.

Jamison finished distributing the inhibiters he had and headed for the cargo bay. CommanderCchan had informed him that that was the designated location in which they were going to try to lure the enemy. Jamison could fell the weight of the phaser on his hip and rifle on his shoulder. He hadn't been aware of them until this very moment. He had never actully had to use one on a live target before. He was use to the hand to hand that he endured as a child. He rounded the corner and spotted Cadet Wong coming the other way. The only thing left to do now was wait, be it for further instructions or the enemy, whichever came first.

"Bruising does not always result from taking a beating cadet Ballar," he said softly, "think of any other causes that may cause bruising. And what was the cause of her death? When did she die?"
Jerri nodded as the instructor moved away "Yes Sir." she said, simply before turning back to the cadavor before her.
The computers beeping caused her to bite her lip as she began mulling over other causes for such bruising.
As she looked over the womans body she noted the location of the bruising and spoke once again to the computer.
=/\= Location of the bruising isn't consistant with the beating. =/\=
She muttered under her breath because she hadn't seen that at the first look over.
||results||
She continued to study the body and take notes.
=/\= Cause of death still uncertain. =/\=
Jerri commented to the computer .. the fact that the beating and the bruising didn't mesh made her uneasy.
||results||
"It's almost as if the bruising was caused by someting interal." she said in a low voice almost to herself.
She glanced up at her fellow cadets to see how they were faring.

=/\= Location of the bruising isn't consistant with the beating. =/\=
The computer beeped an affirmative to Jerri's conclusion and made record of the correct conclusion.
Firestorm stood to the side, nodding in approval. The single female cadet was on the right track it seemed and he was keen on finding out what she would come up with in the end.
Meanwhile, the other cadets were starting to lag behind and one of them eventually walked out of the holodeck. Wolfram eventually walked out too, leaving the Sivaoan alone with Jerri.*explaining Cadet Vayne's LOA and Wolfram's failure to report in*
=/\= Cause of death still uncertain. =/\=
This time the computer made a negative sound, indicating that the cause of death could be easily determined.
Hearing the computer make the negative sound, Firestorm sighed. "Computer, delete additional corpses and make note of departure of cadets Wolfram and Vayne into their records. Remind me to talk to them later on." The computer acknowledged the order and Firestorm walked up to Jerri.
"What seems to be the problem?" he enquired, struggling to get gloves on that were specially fitted for his claws. "Have you determined when this woman died yet? This you can do by determining body temperature. Have you examined her skin? Yes? Good, now then I want you to open her abdomen, so that we can have a look at her insides. Look to your instruction manual on how to proceed."

“Your workstation is fine,” she said following Alex towards the turbolift. A young cadet exited the turbolift as she approach.
The cadet addressed her, introducing himself and then quickly getting down to business, explaining about the transporter inhibitors and how they need to look natural.
Sam thought about the cadets idea of making it look like a radiation leak and what kind of radiation leak would cause a transporters to unable to rematerialise in it and how could they foul the pirates sensors that it was onboard.
She turned to Alex.
“Go ahead, I’ll catch up with you once I’ve done this,” Sam said as she moved over to a workstation.
“Computer bring all up all radiation and chemicals that could cause transportation to disrupted,” Sam asked. A list appeared on the screen.
“Eliminate any that can’t be created from the chemicals presents onboard,” Sam ordered. The list reduced again.
She looked though the shorter list. Then turned her attention to ensign, she pointed to one on the screen.
“This looks like the best one,” she said, “We could foul them that there has been a leak of this.”

Tiberian left Commander Parker working on her theories on the Bridge, and headed down to Cargo Bay One. As he exited the turbolift and rounded a corner, he saw Cadet Jamison walking towards him. As he reached him he said: "Inhibitors are set up everywhere. We're pretty much ready for them. You'd better inform Commander Chan, she's your instructor after all, and then get back here with your security team. I'll inform Captain Lohnen, and wait here with the marines for you" Nodding to the Cadet, he set off into the Cargo Bay to give the area a quick once over. As he entered the Cargo Bay, he tapped his comm badge, saying: "Cadet Wong to Captain Lohnen. Sir, we're ready and waiting at Cargo Bay One. I'll send you updates every five minutes, Sir" He walked around the perimeter of the stocked Cargo Bay, full of varying stocks and supplies, hardly the most ideal place for a fire fight. He then tapped his comm badge again, saying: "Cadet Wong to all marine personnel. Those of you currently on duty, and not assigned to a key area, report immediately to Cargo Bay One, after acquiring full tactical gear. All off duty personnel remain on standby" He reached the ladder leading up to the control gantry, and climbed up. As he entered the office he tapped on the console, bringing up a list of the cargo present, searching for anything potentially hazardous.

Alex noticed when the cadet came, and did her best to stay out of the way of that knowing it had nothing to do with her or the cadet would have gotten her attention as well. She waited for Sam to see what they were going to do.
"Go ahead, I'll catch up with you once I've done this," Sam said as she moved over to a workstation.
Alex moved to her station at Ops to see what she could accomplish. Upon entering it she noticed an ensign leave with a nod to her. She smiled and nodded back. Alex checked the power grids and messages finding nothing to pressing going on there. She then transferred the files on the padd to the console.
Alex was busy working, but then she realized there was a cadet talking to someone in the center seat. She continued working on what she was doing hoping something would come up good for a cloaked ship.
Suddenly there was a figure standing over her station, and she looked up to see who it could be. She saw the cadet who was talking to the person in command of the bridge a few moments ago.
"May I help you cadet?" She said not sure what was going on.
(Korra)
"Oh, my cadet, I didn't realize I had one assigned to me, welcome. If you will step over here to this console, I will show you what you will be doing. One thing to do is make every message we get gets the correct attention. Some messages go to people, and we deliver them. Other messages come directly to us asking for power or something else we do. The next thing to do is to watch the power grids. We can't have systems lose power, like lifesupport or the engines. We also can't have consoles blowing up because there is too much power given. The ship knows what it needs, and will tell you if something is wrong. Watch this console and do what I have told you. I will be here if you need anything, and don't hesitate to ask questions. If you don't ask, you don't learn. Do you have any questions so far?" Alex said realizing it was a lot of information in one setting.
(Korra)
After the cadet was settled Alex returned to her work to read up on some of the procedures that were found on discovering a cloaked ship. She couldn't believe the intel they had on cloaking devices, and wasn't happy with what she was finding.
The cloak can be used while the ship is firing a weapon. It has also been found that when cloaked ships no longer give off antiprotons or tachyon emissions.
Alex sighed when she read that, and had hoped this would be easier than this. She looked up the components of a cloak hoping this would give her some ideas.

It was about an hour before TJ was due on the Bridge of the Hepta, and he was taking some time before duty hours to catch up on some time with his two close friends, Dr. Barbara Johnson, Ship’s Counselor, and Commander Chan, in Ten Forward. OOC... To help in visualization, this is the avatar of Dr. Johnson, whose writer, due to personal reasons, could not be aboard on this mission: IC...The three were sitting at one of the tables, sipping coffee – Commander Chan being the only one differing, hot tea being in her cup – and conversing. Near the end of the hour, leaving topics of lightness, the subject turned to the current issues facing Hepta.
“Many cadets, Security and Marine, now limit incoming transporter access to one area, TJ,” said Commander Chan (the three had an arrangement amongst themselves to be on a first-name basis during off-duty hours.). “This good-type plan. It give us great control if enemy boarding parties use transporter to beam aboard Hepta.”
“But is it safe as yah can get it, Puddin’?” drawled the Counselor.
Commander Chan said not a word, but looked over to her friend, her face a blank expression. It didn’t take Dr. Johnson long to realize she had spoken without thinking – something she did not often do.
“Sorry, y’all,” she said, as she blushingly withdrew the question. “I sorta lost my head for a minute there.”
Commander Chan’s expression softened, as did her deep, brown eyes, as she responded, “No matter. Yes, non-combatant personnel will be evacuated from area.”
“’Tis thinkin’ I am that it might be a good idea if ye were on th’ scene of entry, too, Xin-Ling,” mentioned TJ. “When – an’ if – we have unpleasant an’ unwelcome boarders aboard th’ ship, ‘tis invaluable your skills would be.”
This time it was Commander Chan’s turn to blush. Being Asian, she didn’t seek out the spotlight, and was often uncomfortable when it was thrust upon her by someone else.
“I plan to be there,” she said.
TJ glanced at his chronometer...
“Well, for th’ two o’ ye, ye have your schedules. Mine’s callin’ me t’ th’ Bridge. So, if th’ two o’ ye will be excusin’ me...”
TJ stood to his feet, bidding his two companions adieu, and left Ten Forward for the Bridge, and the two remaining occupants of the table turned to each other.
“He right. I need to be on duty too. Need to pick up preparations in Security Office before going to Cargo Bay. I see you later, Barbara?”
“You can count on it, Puddin’,” Barb smiled as Xin-Ling rose from the chair and left. “And duty is calling fo’ me too,” said the doctor as she left for her office.

She cleched her fists as she entered the room. Whoops, sorry you lot, I blew my Internet connection last week so i've been rather slow in responding to everything. looks like it's working again James turned around. A Klingon woman was waiting for his reply. "No problem Cadet. I was informed of your delay well on time. So, you want to be a diplomat? You'll probably be able to make yourself quite useful on this mission. Please find your quarters and meet the other Cadets. Report back when you're settled in." <TAG: Korra> Korra left the Bridge when Commander Bern turned from his helm controls. "Commander, we've reached the Vulcan system, I'm taking the ship out of warp." James nodded an approval. Finally they could get to work.
Not long after the ship had been taken out of warp, the Vulcan High Command hailed the Hepta. The Vulcan on the screen looked as impassive as all his kin, but this was quite probably the one James disliked most. He was cold and logical until it could pretty much be called rude.
#Hepta, this is Commander t'Klang. You will enter standard orbit. Your medical teams are to beam down to the surface. They coordinates have been transmitted to your ship's computer. Do you understand these instructions?#
James usually had a problem with authority, especially if he disliked the one who actually gave the orders, but to be ordered around on what he considered to be his own ground........ For a second or so, James enjoyed the thought of aggravating the Vulcan by asking him to spell it out, but he decided against it.
"Of course we understand the instructions Commander, you will be informed when we finish our autopsy. Hepta out." It wasn't the most diplomatic reply in his career, but somehow he couldn't resist. He hated the arrogance and the belittleing tone of Vulcans in general, but he hated this one in particular. This could be a very long mission. James tapped his comm badge.

=^=Bridge to Doctor Firestorm, you are cleared to perform the autopsies=^=
Firestorm looked up from his observations and tapped his combadge. "Acknowledged commander," he replied, then looked at his cadet.
The both of them were covered in blood from performing the autopsy; Firestorm from showing his cadet how, and Ballar from following his example. "Well done for now," he praised her, "computer, end program."
The corpse and examination table were exchanged for the regular holodeck grid and the blood disappeared from Ballar's clothing and Firestorm's fur.
Together with Ballar, the Sivaoan doctor exited the holodeck, the both of them heading towards sickbay. "When are we due for beaming down?" Firestorm enquired over the still activated comlink, "I believe my cadet would appreciate a few minutes to get herself freshened up and something to eat. I also still have to feed my cat...as well as myself. Would fifteen minutes be acceptable?"

Having ascertained that there was nothing particularly threatening present in the Cargo Bay, and with his plan of defence laid out, he decided to comprise his plan report for submission into the logs. He sat in the observation gantry office, tapping meticulously on the padd in front of him, whilst the marines filed in and began setting up around the Cargo Bay. Finsihing his work, he exited down to the main Cargo Bay level. After coorecting a few of the marines positions, he informed them that he was going to the Bridge and that he would return shortly. He then exited the Cargo Bay, taking the nearest turbolift to the Bridge. He smiled slightly as he approached his destination, thinking that personally delivering his report to the XO was bound to show his dedication. He exited the turbolift whilst Commander O'Connor was talking to a Vulcan diplomat on the viewscreen. Knowing better than to interrupt, he moved round behind the tactical console, briefly looking over the panels. As the XO concluded his conversation, and the viewscreen returned to normal, Tiberian caught sight of something unusual on the console. Unnoticed by the on duty tactical ensign, who had proceeded to the back engineering station to perform some unknown task, Tiberian quickly worked the console, focusing the scanners on something detectable by motion sensors, but not by conventional scanners. After a few moments he drew his conclusion, either the sensors were faulty, or there was a cloaked ship out there. His report flying from his mind, Tiberian called out: "Commander O'Connor, Sir. I'm sorry to bother you Sir, but I think that you'd better see this" He punched up the sensor logs on the viewscreen. "Sir, unless I'm very much mistaken, those are the hallmarks of a cloaked vessel, Sir"

Serena was troubled by this new ship, and she wondered what might happen if anyone figured out what they were planning. She did her best to keep a good distance while cloaked.
"This can't be good," she muttered to herself in the small vessel she had stolen. She loved working in it and was glad it was there for the taking three years ago. She was looking for some way to get rid of this annoyance when she saw nothing so far. She continued to scan them hoping to find a weakness, maybe even something worthy of her cause. Suddenly someone had sent her a message making it look like subspace junk.
Serena sighed when she read the message from her superior. “Again with the nagging.” She decided to stay close to the vessel for now not wanting to lose any time in finding some way to cripple them giving the others enough time for their plans.

It did not take her long to reach her destination of the Tactical/Security Office of the Hepta from Ten Forward, and once there, Xin-Ling opened her private supply, took out and placed her weapons of choice in ready position for entry into battle. It was almost with a loving touch born from long familiarity she placed each one into position.
For a moment, her mind went back to her father Chan Chor Hing, former Xioalin warrior-monk, who had trained her in the martial arts from the time she was age two.
Having placed her preferred weapons upon her person, she then strapped a hand phaser to her side, left the office, and made her way down to Cargo Bay One, where she stood momentarily, surveying the preparations made by the cadets.
If the pirates used the transporter, they would be ready for them!

Jamison was still in Cargo Bay 1 when Commander Chan entered. He quickly rose to his feet and came to attention.
"Report Cadet." Chan said.
"Ma'am. Tha cargo bay area is secure and all inhibitors are in place. Marines and other cadets are in position and Cadet Wong went to the bridge to give a status report."

Jamison: "Ma'am. The cargo bay area is secure and all inhibitors are in place. Marines and other cadets are in position and Cadet Wong went to the bridge to give a status report." Looking up to the cadet, Xin-Ling nodded her approval.
"That good. Now we wait."While walking out of the hollodek Ardawen tapped his badge "Cadet Ardawen to Commander Chan...Commander I'm reporting for my shift, ma'am. Where do you want me to be?" Xin-Ling responded to the beeping by answering, "You with us here in Cargo Bay One, Cadet Knight.
"Though not only possibility of boarding, this most likely place. We see you soon. I have other security teams stationed throughout Hepta, but majority of force here in Cargo Bay."

for a moment Ardawen was thinking to say something about his last name, but at the last moment he did not (not to his commander he was thinking)
Be on my way mam Ardawen out.
And he was speeding him self to the cargo bay. People looked ignored while he was running, but thanks to that (and the turbo-lift) he arrived 5 min before his sift began.
