Jamison leaned against the bulk head in a corner taking in his surroundings. Everyone was in place. The security personel and the Marines were all teamed up with each other or with a cadet. Will himself had been working with Marine Cadet Wong and was waiting for his return. He had also heard Commander Chan give orders to Cadet Ardawen and knew that he too was on his way down. He had meet Ardawen earlier in the day and was sure between the 3 of them could handle themselves even if they were only cadets. With the inhibitors in place, there really weren't many options for the enemy if they tried to board. And with all the personel in the Cargo Bay, there wasn't much chance of an enemy exiting the bay either. Jamison finished making his entries into his data padd and sat down and waited. The doors to the cargo bay opened and in walked Cadet Ardawen.

When the cargo bay doors opened Ardawen saw cadet Jamison. He smiled an nodded to greet him. It's always nice to see people who you know.
Quickly he looked around the cargo bay, making sure he knew the area. He saw the different shuttles, and different equipment, and all the rest of the huge bay. For the next hours he had to watch this area carefully, so he did not want to miss one thing. On the other hand, in his day's in the wild he learned him self to take quick notes of his surroundings in order to survive so it only took Ardawen a few seconds.
All looked well, but his feeling said there was something wrong. He closed his eye's for a moment and opened them again. Making almost no sound he carefully walked to wards some boxes. Then he moved one of the quickly he jelled, don't move.
A male and a female cadet appeared giggling, Ardawen checked them, when everything was OK, he send them away, with the warning to never show there faces again around the cargo bay.
Then he walked to his friend Jamison. His pale anything to report? <tag Jamison>
When Jamison repored to him he walked to his commander, sorry for the delay Mame, Ardawen reporting for duty. <tag Chan>

Firestorm darted out of sickbay after dropping his cadet off, then on all fours bounced through the Hepta's corridors towards his own quarters to feed Copper. The little feline was mewing and purring for attention. In the end, he just placed the little cat on his shoulder and felt her claws dig into his fur for support.
Then he bounced out of his quarters again, and he was halfway towards the transporter room when he realized he hadn't been given any command codes of any sort. As a doctor, he at least ought to have some override codes, in the event of an emergency.
"Computer, locate Commander Chang."
+com: Commander Chang is in Cargobay One.
Firestorm grunted. "Display directions to Cargobay One," he requested, as he had no clue where to find a cargobay in the first place. Fortunately the computer panels on the wall gave clear directions.
+com: you have reached your destination, Cargobay One is on your right.
The Sivaoan made a sniggering sound as he stood before the massive doors. When he entered he encountered the petite security officer, who was flanked by at least two cadets. On his way in he was nearly run over by a young couple, who looked extremely embarassed at being caught at something.
"Commander Chang?" Firestorm enquired, gazing at both cadets, "I am in need of a few security and command codes as I seem to have been issued none. And while I'm here, you all have failed to report to sickbay for a physical. Please do so when I beam back aboard."
He paused, gazing at either cadet. "Would one of you be willing to escort me to Vulcan?" he querried, "I am to autopsy the Vulcan who was killed. As he was murdered, I wouldn't mind someone to watch my back while I work."

So big, yet so fragile. Size had never stopped the Artful Dodger. The hijacked Defiant class vessel had been monitoring the Hepta for two days, well hidden under her also hijacked experimental Romulan cloak. So far, not even the most thorough Hepta sensor sweeps had detected the Artful Dodger, while she had been hiding right under the Hepta's very nose. Now it was time to strike.
=^=Commander Jensen, this is Captain Farrel, are your strike teams in place?=^=
A cheerful "yes sir," came back over the comm instantly. Farrel gave the Bridge to his XO. He needed to be here himself.
A few minutes later, Captain Jonathan Farrel, commander of the A.S.S. Artful Dodger, entered the transporter room where ten heavily armed soldiers, led by Commander Serena Jensen had already assembled. A quick nod and a smile were sufficient to inspire the troops and a flash later, they were aboard the Hepta on deck 8. They're initial thought was to land on the Bridge, but it seemed Hepta Security had also considered that possibility and placed transport inhibitors in all critical areas. Farrel made a quiet gesture and the group of 12 moved forward. Commander Jensen tapped into the nearest computer console and started hacking her way through the security data. Three men stayed with her while Farrel led the rest of the group onwards towards the nearest turbolift.
Ten minutes later, the group had reached the turbolift entrance to the Bridge on Deck 2. It was the Hepta's night cycle, so the corridors had been relatively deserted. Five unlucky souls had seen the pirates move through the corridors and they had been killed instantly. Suddenly, alarms started screaming and an annoying computirized voice started staing #intruder alert, intruder alert, intruder alert# Farrel swore loudly and tapped his comm badge as security officers rounded the corner and opened fire.
=^=Farrel to Artful Dodger, get us the hell out of here
Two of the pirates fell dead where they stood and another two were seriously wounded. The pirates took up a position around the curve of the corridor and stood their ground. Serena heard steps behind her. "Captain........" Farrel turned around. A lone officer came running to see what was going on. Farrel stunned him with a single shot and yelled "Grab the wounded!" as he turned on the unconscious officer. He was wearing Captain's pips. As the haze of the transporter beam surrounded the boarding party, Farrel took the unconscious officer in his arms, taking him with him as they were beamed out.
Minutes later on the Artful Dodger, the wounded were hurried to Sickbay. The ship had cloaked and warped out of the system, far out of the Hepta's reach. Captain Farrel entered the Brigg and eyed his new prisoner. After a while, he seemed to wake up. Slowly, Captain T.J. Edwards opened his eyes and surveyed his new maximum security prison.......

Serena was looking forward to their first attack, and hoped it would go well. She looked around and made sure each of her men were well equiped.
"Let's get this done and right. Don't screw up," she said like she did every time they went on a mission, then the captain joined them.
Once on the ship she moved to a computer terminal to see what trouble she could cause them, even if it would only by them some time. She worked quickly, and then motioned for the two men to follow her. Serena knew she would have to catch up to the captain in order to help take over the bridge. 'He will need every one of us, even if it is only the night shift.' She thought, and they entered the turbolift.
It didn't take them long to catch the others. The alarms went off, and Serena groaned. She heard the captain order to get them out of there, suddenly an officer was shot and went down, and they took him with them.
Once in their transporter room, she noticed several of their guys were looking guilty. "Well, we botched that one," she said, then ordered to have their prisoner taken to the brig.
"Make sure he is heavily guarded, since they will want him back."
Later she ordered the remaining men to the gym. 'Time to work them hard.' She joined them.
"Okay, we need to make sure we don't botch the next time. Harkins, you and those three will work with the weights. Tone those muscles, make sure you are not weak. Jessak, you and your two brothers will work hand to hand combat. Lynken, you and those three will work with weapons," she said and sat down on the side lines to check a few things. 'Those alarms shouldn't have gone off. I must have missed something.'

Having been present on the Bridge, TIberian was best placed to see the action on the internal sensors screen. Moments after pointing out the possible cloaked vessel, a security alarm rang throughout the ship. Tiberian worked the console as fast as he could, noticing the intruders had appeared initially on Deck 8, but had begun discharging weapons on Deck 2. Swearing very audibly at the failiure of their plan, Tiberian unslung his phaser rifle and ran towards the turbolift door, grabbing a nearby security officer by the scruff of the neck and pulling him with him. Entering the turbolift, he rapidly selected Deck 2, thrusting his side arm phaser into the unarmed officers hand. Agitated he shouted: "Right, thats set to kill, use it accordingly" Then he tapped his comm badge rapidly as the turbolift arrived: "All marine and security personnel converge on Deck 2 ASAP, shoot to kill" Then with a sudden horrifying thought, he added "Scratch that. All security personnel converge on the Captain's quarters and protect him, marines engage the enemy" Negating all use of covert tactics and wall cover, Tiberian ran pell mell towards the enemy's location, the security officer barely keeping up. As he rounded the corner he saw a pile of corpses, Starfleet officers, littering the hallway, with 12 space pirates standing behind them. Slamming himself in to the right hand bulkhead, he fired two pulse blasts, the first hitting one of the pirates in his right hand shoulder, knocking him to the floor, the second striking his target square in the chest, killing him instantly. The security officer fired several shots from the left hand bulkhead, the first killing another pirate, the rest forcing them to fall back behind the corridors curvature. With no thought for his own safety, Tiberian ran the length of the corridor, throwing himself down to the floor and firing another shot wounding a pirate in the stomach. Then, to his horror, he saw Captain Edwards emerge from a room behind the pirates. He was stunned in one blast, and a split second later picked up amongst the wounded. "CAPTAIN!" Tiberian screamed running at the pirates, firing shot after shot. But by this point they had already dematerialised, causing his shots to impact a bulkhead behind where they had vanished. Stunned for a moment Tiberian stood staring at the empty space in a state of shock, not taking in the tugs or distressed cries of the security officer. Then, raising a numb and quivering hand to his comm badge, he said: "Cadet Wong to Commander O'Connor. Sir, it is my sad duty to inform you that Captain Edwards has been taken prisoner by the enemy. As per Starfleet regulations, I now believe that you have operational command. Wong out" And with that Tiberian walked back to the felled Starfleet officers, withdrew his rosary, and began saying the last rites.

When the young couple had left, the doctor came in. Ardawen looked at him, the doctor looked amazed he found the cargo bay so soon.
He spoke to commander Chan for a moment, something about security codes. Ardawen remembered that he forgot to do his physical, because when he was on his way, he was called for the briefing.
Like the Doctor had read Ardawen´s mind, he told that none of them has had a physical jet. Ardawen was relieved that he was not the only one., and looked around only to see that the others where relieved to.
Then the doctor told them he had to go to Vulcan for the autopsy on the Vulcan who was killed and needed an escort . Just when he wanned to volunteer the ships alarms went of. #intruder alert, intruder alert, intruder alert#
quickly Ardawen taped his badge =/\=Computer locate the intruders=/\=
=/\=Intruders at deck 2=/\=
Ardawen was already on his to the nearest turbo lift. Deck 2 he jelled. The Turbo lift began to move, Ardawen already pulled out his phaser, it was taking him to long.
Finally the turbo lift doors opened, Ardawen wanned to run out of the lift but jumped back just in time for a phaser shot that just missed him.
From the corner of the lift Ardawen firred his phaser to any intruder he could hit a few intruders fell down with a scream. But it was all going so fast, he did not knew where to fire. suddenly he saw the captain appear, only to be shot and stunned. Ardawen wanned to fire and shoot the pirate who had shot the captain, he was so angry at the pirates.
But something was wrong with his phaser, when he wanned to fire a shot he feld his phaser acting strange. He smelled something burn, and suddenly the phaser blow, giving him a hard hit on his chest.
Ardawen fell on the ground, any thing went black before his eyes, he heard some phaser fire and battle screams, and then nothing he lay there all alone unconscious.

When Jamison reported to him he walked to his commander, "Sorry for the delay Ma'am; Ardawen reporting for duty." ”Is no matter; you here now,” she responded.
“And now, we wait. Stay alert.” When [Firestorm] entered he encountered the petite security officer, who was flanked by at least two cadets. ...
“Commander Chan?” Firestorm enquired, gazing at both cadets. “I am in need of a few security and command codes as I seem to have been issued none. And while I'm here, you all have failed to report to sickbay for a physical. Please do so when I beam back aboard. Xin-Ling sighed at the request from Firestorm. She could not comply at the moment.
“Cannot do now, doctor. But you have my word I will come as soon as security issue is settle here. I not make you wait beyond then.
“As to security cadet escort, take one with you, others remain here. If you go after security issue is resolve, then I can spare more.” <Tag – Security Cadets, Dr. Firestorm>It was only a few moments after Dr. Firestorm had exited the Cargo Bay area that the ship’s computers announced an intruder alert.
The Asian Warrior’s face wrinkled in anger as she realized the pirates had somehow managed to board the Hepta elsewhere than where they were supposed to.
“Come with me,” she quickly informed nearly half the cadets in Cargo Bay One. “The rest of you, maintain watch here.”
Swiftly, Xin-Ling ran through the corridors toward Deck Two, taking the turbolifts where she could, and being followed by her cadets.
As she bolted from the turbolift, she saw an intruder lift his weapon toward her. He never managed to bring it to full aim, for Xin-Ling’s right arm shot forward from her hip, there was a whoosh! sound that was heard as the Asian Warrior’s missile of death sped to its target.
The intruder clutched painfully at his abdomen and dropped to his knees as he started flickering, fading away from view, pulled by the enemy’s transporter to a ship he would never see again.
She surveyed the scene, then made her way to the lone survivor, Cadet Wong, meaning to ask what had happened. She did not need to ask, as Tiberian tapped his comm badge and said, "Cadet Wong to Commander O'Connor. Sir, it is my sad duty to inform you that Captain Edwards has been taken prisoner by the enemy. As per Starfleet regulations, I now believe that you have operational command. Wong out"She gasped – this was NOT what Xin-Ling wanted to hear. Her captain – her friend – stolen away by the invaders, facing who knew what. Her brow furrowed in anger. This was not normal for the Asian Warrior, especially in battle.
Someone was going to pay!

“As to security cadet escort, take one with you, others remain here. If you go after security issue is resolve, then I can spare more.”
Firestorm nodded and tapped Ardawen on the shoulder. The young man seemed about to offer to come along. "I'll meet you in the transporter room in five minutes," he spoke softly, "don't be too overly armed, we don't want to scare them Vulcans."
The feline purred in amusement, hoping his joke came across. "Five minutes," he called back at the cadet when he exited the cargobay. He'd barely set a few paces until an energyblast of some sort came flying just past his shoulder, singing his fur.
He tapped his combadge. "Firestorm to O'Connor, I'm taking Cadet Ardawen as my guard and we're beaming down in three minutes from now. I'll endeavour to have this autopsy performed in an hour. If you can wait that long, please. If not, do not wait up for us, I'm sure the Vulcans will be very hospitable towards us. However the cadet seems to have other thoughts right now so on second thought there may be some delay." He watched Ardawen run off towards a turbolift and Firestorm chased after him, scowling under his breath at the cadet's insolence.
They exited the lift and Ardawen continued to fire his phaser at the intruders. Firestorm dove aside then pounced upon one of the pirates, digging his claws into the person's chest. The pirate gave a trangled cry then went limp. Only when he heard the report that the captain had been abducted, did he let go of his prey. After all, felines were and would always be, hunters.
When he looked for the cadet, he already knew something was wrong before he spotted the look of disbelief on the cadet's face. Then the young man's phaser exploded right in his hands, sending him flying backwards against a bulkhead, consequently sagging down to the deck.
"Ardawen!" Firestorm roared, pouncing towards the fallen cadet. "Computer medical emergency, two to transport directly to sickbay." He slapped his combadge once more. "Commander O'Connor, tell those Vulcans I will not be able to make it, I have a medical emergency, Cadet Ardawen was severely injured just now."
He barely managed to finish his line before the transporter beam claimed them and deposited them smack in the middle of sickbay. Firestorm lifted the unconscious cadet in his arms and deposited him on a biobed. He slipped an oxygen mask over the young man's face and injected him with several tranquillizers so that he wouldn't be in any pain when he regained consciousness later.

Jamison had almost volunteered to escort the doctor to Vulcan but if something happened on the ship, he didn't want to miss it. Just as the doc choose ardawen there was an intruder alert sounded and Ardawen took off for deck 2 with the dotor in tow.
Commander Chan ordered several security personel and cadets to follow her. As Jamison was headed out, she ordered him to remain in the cargo bay and listen fo rother intruder alerts. Noone was sure how the intruders got past the inhibitors but if they could do it once they could to it again and they would need Jamison and the others to cover that section.
At first, Jamison try to argue that he needed to be where the action was but Commander Chan, not taking any BS from anyone, put him in his place with a firm "YOU WILL FOLLOW ORDERS,CADET!" and left the cargo bay.
Jamison was furious. his first thought was to follow the commander anyhow but he knew this was not the way things were done. He was given an order and if he wanted to make it anywhere in Starfleet he needed to start listening to them. with that in mind, Jamison set about filling in the others on what they were to do. Basically, sit and wait.
Within moments, word got back that the captain had been kidnapped and Ardawen was in sickbay injured. Still fighting the urge to go to deck 2, Jamison tried contacting his commander.

Ardawen was moving to a bright white light. On both sides he saw images of people, he knew what that was, it was his life flashing by. Then he stooped and everything was quiet,in front of him he saw two people moving closer.
He could not jet see there faces but he could see the they ware 1 man and 1 woman. Slowly the two persons came near, when he saw there faces he was shocked, he knew those people.
(back in sickbay he was heavily sweating and he moved his head left and right.)
Still shocked he was hardly able to speak. mom? dad?, am I?
No son, his father quickly said to him, we are just here to say to you we are so proud. We watched you all the time. His mother took over, and look at you, your a starfleet cadet and what kind of cadet you gave your life for your ship like we gave our lives to safe you. And our captain? We can't tell you anything, his father said, only that his alive and well. Ardawen, listen to us, his mother said, the pirates you are fighting now, are the same pirates who killed us. WHAT!!!!, Ardawen jelled.
(at sickbay Ardawen, began to sweat even more and his heartbeat was getting dangerly high)
Ardawen, his father calmed him, We know that you and your shipmates will be stronger then them, but remember sometimes life is a greater revenge them death. I don't understand Ardawen, cried. You will, his mother spoke. But now It's time for you to go, his father picked up. No I want to stay with you, Ardawen jelled. But he was moving away form his parents. He only could hear his ,mother speak, We love you Ardawen remember that.
(at sickbay his hard was getting calmer, and stopped sweating.)
Ardawen was falling down and down. and as soon he came down he opened his eyes, he looked right in the eyes of the doctor

TJ groaned, clutching at his side as he slowly regained consciousness. The wound he had received was like a painful, burning sensation, but the pain he was experiencing became of secondary importance once it dawned upon him that he was apparently no longer on the Hepta.
TJ opened his eyes and looked at his surroundings. He was in a recessed area, very much reminiscent of Hepta's brig. He took one of the pips from his collar and tossed it towards the opening. As the pip passed the opening to the recess he was in, there was a bright light display and a crackling sound, and the pip fell to the deck on the other side of whatever energy field was at the opening.
Well! He was not going to be getting out anytime soon. He tapped his comm badge.
"Edwards t' Hepta... Edwards t' Hepta... come in."
There was no response. Either the comm badge had been damaged during his capture, or they were out of range.
TJ sat down to think, to see if he could come up with some way to get out of his present dilemma.
It did not look promising...

Xin-Ling, though relatively calm to an outside observer, was a churning mixture of emotions inside. Anger... frustration... wonderment at how the pirates got aboard... concern – personal concern – over TJ's disappearance... all of these pounded against each other.
Suddenly, she heard her comm badge buzz. =^= Cadet Jamison to Commander Chan=^= "Yes, what you want?" snapped the Asian Warrior, not really upset at Cadet Jamison, but very upset at the current situation, and at TJ's kidnapping.

Male eyes watched intently as Xia stretched languidly in the Captain's chair and toyed with a stray lock of her black tresses. She barely noticed their leers. She was accustomed to being the object of desire and her mind wandered elsewhere. As XO of the Artful Dodger, she truly relished these brief times her Captain was away and she could assume the authority she craved. Perhaps it was because she had been a slave for so many wasted years or perhaps it was simply because she was fulfilling her genetic need to have the male gender under her control, but no matter the reason, she often entertained fantasies of making her command opportunities permanent.
Farrel, bursting on to the bridge, caused Xia to spring from her comfortable spot and loudly announce their Captain's return. All the crew snapped to attention, scarcely breathing lest they incurr his wrath, earned or not. He was known for his violent outbursts at little provocation.
"Welcome back, Captain. We missed you," Xia said, the phrase oozing with innuendo.
Long past being distracted by her Orion pheromones, Jonathan scoffed. "I'm sure you did."
"Shall I alert our base of your success?" Xia asked knowingly.
Farrel quickly drew back his hand and struck her hard across the cheek sending her reeling to the deck plate. "One prisoner is hardly a success!" he fumed and searched the surrounding faces for even the slightest look of insubordination, trying to find a reason to continue his tirade.
Xia wiped the small trickle of blood from the corner of her mouth and pulled herself to her feet, never letting on she was injured. "He is a Federation citizen and that alone makes him valuable to us."
The Captain conceded somewhat but ignored her.
"Perhaps I can interrogate him for you?" she purred sensuously. She moved in close and stroked his forearm seductively.
Jonathan gave her a sideways glance. Yes, he was past being distracted by her, but not quite immune. "That, my dear, is probably the smartest thing you've said to me since I've returned." He moved his hand up to wipe another trickle of blood from her mouth and Xia flinched. Sneering in satisfaction he grabbed her arm and jerked her close. Xia felt his warm breath as he whispered. "Go and use your Orion wiles on him and remember... I'll be watching every move and hearing every word."
Xia smiled; her feline-like eyes wide with excitement as her warm breath mixed with that of her Captain's. "I'm counting on it."
Farrel released her. She smiled victoriously as she sauntered away, moving as only an Orion female knows how and slowly exited, all eyes following her as she left.

His duty shift having finished, Tiberian went directly to Ten Forward to think. The remainder of his hsift, after the assault, had involved assisting in the transport and storage of the deceased officers in the ships morgue. He carried in his arms a collection of a dozen or so padds, containing records, sensor logs, schematics, and varying other things that might shed some light on why the transporter system had failed. Two hours and several mugs of raktajino later, and he was still no closer to understanding what had gone wrong, having examined every possible mechanical, physical, and scientific problem. The transporter inhibition field had been functioning perfectly, until a split second before the attack, when a gaping hole had been formed. He then, or no particular reason began reviewing the security access logs for that particular timeframe when he struck upon something extraordinary. The inhibitors, which were fed through both the main computers power supply and control, had been deactivated from a remote location, using either computer re-programming techniques, or valid command codes. Grabbing the relevant padds, and abandoning the rest, much to the annoyance of the bartender, Tiberian rushed from the crew lounge, trying to juggle the padds and the phaser rifle he was unslinging from his shoulder. He pelted for the nearest turbolift, the doors just opening in time. Having selcted the Bridge, he tapped on his comm badge, saying: "Cadet Wong to Commander Chan. Ma'am I know this may be the worst possible time for you, but I've discovered something, would you please join me on the Bridge, ASAP" He paused for breath, then continuing "The transporter inhibition didn't fail. Sections of it were deactivated from on board. This was either done by someone with exceptional computer skills, or...." He hesitated momentarily "Or someone with pretty high level clearance"

Alex was shocked at how little she had progressed on cloaked vessels. It seemed that any information they had was now outdated. "And I thought I wouldn't have much to do on this," she said and chuckled.
Alex was looking up as much information as possible, and finally the Vulcans had gotten back to her. It seemed the vessel was a stolen Defiant class. She was grateful for the information, and thanked them for it.
Alex quickly looked up any and all information on the Defiant class to see what kind of cloak they might have, and how her crewmates would be able to penetrate it. She wasn’t making much headway with the little she had, and started to look up the engines and everything thinking maybe they could get something with that.
Alex had been working hard for the last twenty minutes when she noticed something finally clicked into place. She looked to see how they could slow down their engines, and wasn’t surprised when an idea came to her. She didn’t think it would help locate the ship though, and continued to work wondering if a net could be put in place around their ship, something like the shields.
Alex realized what she needed, and realized she couldn’t do this alone. =^=Nikmud to engineering, I could use some assistance with something here. =^=
=^=Roger that, sending someone immediately. =^=
It wasn’t long before Lt. Williams came to the bridge looking for this Nikmud person. She located her at Ops, and moved to see what was going on there.
Alex looked up and realized the engineer had arrived. “Good, I need help with what I am working on. I was thinking of trying to locate this cloaked vessel using an EM net outside our ship. If we put it about twenty feet outside the shields it will pick up any type of ship’s engines when they get close enough. We would have to rotate the length so no ship out there figures out how far to stay away from our ship. Is this doable?”
“Hmm…. Now there is an idea. I think if we use it like the rest of the scanners we should be able to give it enough energy and boost to keep it going and pick up the ships engines like you have here. I see nothing wrong with this plan, as long as we have enough energy to keep it going, but that isn’t my area, it’s yours,” Lt. Williams answered.
"Yes, and I can keep that going with enough engergy. I just needed an engineer to hear this plan out and help implement it. Might take us about an hour I would think, don't you?" Alex said looking up from the console at the female engineer.
"Yes, we can have this up within the hour."

Jamison had heard Cadet Wong call his commander and ask to meet on the bridge. He left the cargo bay and headed there himself. He was a little shocked at the way the commander had answered him but he knew it was because of the situation and not him. While heading to the bridge, he found himself wondering about the captain and Ardawen. He had not been ordered to the bridge so he went by sickbay first to check on his new found friend.
"How's he doing, Doc?" Jamison asked as he entered.

After getting some answers from the medical staff, he headed for the bridge. He was curious to see what Wong had found out. Jamison knew that the only way the pirates could have gotten through was if an inhibitor had failed or wasn't set right and he was praying hard that it wasn't one of his. He reached the bridge just as Commander Chan did and they both saw Wong at the Tactical station. They headed his way immediately.

As Xin-Ling conversed with cadet Jamison, she heard Dr. Firestorm's voice around a bend in the corridor...
"Ardawen! ...Computer medical emergency, two to transport directly to sickbay."
She knew she could not get there quickly enough to examine the situation surrounding her cadet, but also knew he was still alive. She told herself that, first chance she had, she should go to Sickbay to check on how badly the cadet might be injured. Right now, however, duty called her to the bridge of the Hepta.

OFF: I have changed chronology from Ardawen's and Will's posts to make it more flowing...
"How's he doing, Doc?" Jamison asked as he entered.
Firestorm stood leaning over his patient, awkwardly dressed in a surgical garb. Just now he had managed to stop the young man's bleeding and close the injury. He purred in delight when Ardawen's biosignals picked up from a dangerous low. He had briefly lost the cadet, but fortunately had been able to revive him.
A sterile field snapped back on around the cadet's bed when Firestorm stepped away. "He'll be fine," the Sivaoan assured the other cadet, "you may visit him, but briefly. Cadet Knight is very weak, and it'll take several hours until he may get up."
Firestorm patted the second cadet on the shoulder. "Why don't you go to the bridge and report that Cadet Knight will recover from his injuries? And please let Commander Chang know that I will need someone else to accompany me to Vulcan to see to the autopsies. Unless they will after all authorise me to transport the body and/or bodies to sickbay for examinaton."
(Jamison)
Once Jamison was gone, Firestorm turned back to his patient, to discover that he already had opened his eyes. "Easy now," he urged Ardawen, when the young man struggled to speak. "You were mortally injured, and your condition is still critical. Why don't you get some sleep, and then tell me what you were dreaming off when you've regained some of your strength?"
His tail coiled in happiness as he glanced down on the cadet. "Yes you were dreaming," he confessed, "my instrumets told me so." He eased the cadet back down on the bed, applying a hypospray to his throat, injecting a mild sedative. "Sleep," he ordered, "it'll help you heal."
(Ardawen)

While Ardawen was trieing to sleep, he was thinking what he should tell the doctor. He could not tell his what he really had dreamed, it had to be a secret none should ever know. If someone should find out he would never get have the change to take the revenge he deserved.
He came up with a strange and horrible dream, where the beast that always tried to hunt him down in the past where playing a role.
Perfect he was thinking, now let's get some sleep
But he could not find the rest to sleep, again and again he saw before his eyes the moment his accident happened. Then he remembered, HIS PHASER, his phaser exploded that was something a phaser should NOT do. He had to look at it.
Doctor he jelled, doctor my phaser I have to see it, I must know something. It will help me get some inner peace. please.
The doctor looked strangely at him.
please doctor I can't sleep until I know something, it's important

"Yes,sir. I was headed to the bridge when I decided to stop by here. I over heard Cadet Wong ask Commander Chan to meet him there. He sounded like he found something important. I'll also inform her of your need for an escort."
"Thank you, cadet."
"By the way doctor. I can't remember what species Ardawen said he is but I do remember him telling me that they don't use last names. He prefers to be called Cadet Ardawen. It might make him feel a little more comfortable when he awakens."
"Thank you again, Cadet Jamison. I wil try to remember that."
While walking to thet Tactical station, Jamison reported to his commander.
"Ma'am. I just left sickbay checking on Cadet Ardawen. The doctor says he will be fine and expects a full recovery. He also wanted to remind you that he still needs an escort to Vulcan for the autopsy. Once everything is settled here, provided the doctor can wait that long, I volunteer to be his escort."
"Very well, cadet. I will let you know about the escort detail. And I appreciate you letting me know about Cadet Ardawen. I haven't had the chance to get by sickbay yet."
"Given the situation,ma'am, I'm sure Ardawen would understand. Right now your place is on the bridge trying to figure out where we went wrong and how to get the captain back. And from the sound of Wongs voice and the look on his face, I think he might have something to tell you."

Xin-Ling looked into the eyes of Cadet Jamison as he told her that Adawen would recover, and the sterness of her expression softened a little as relief over that aspect settled upon her. It was welcome news, but still she had to get in to see him in sickbay as soon as the opportunity presented itself.
"He does have something to tell us, cadet," she answered. "It look like inhibitors were shut down by invaders, and they escape us that way.
"Come with me. Let's see what else he may have."
With that, the Asian Warrior walked directly to Cadet Wong.
"Report," she said.

At one of the Science consoles at the back of the Bridge, Tiberian snapped to attention as Commander Chan and Cadet Jamison approached. "Commander, Will" He said, inclining his head slightly to each of them in turn "I was going over the security logs when I found this" He worked his fingers rapidly about the console, causing a list of the ships security logs to appear. He then highlighted a certain section of the logs. "As you can see, from time index 17 Alpha, to 17 Lambda, the security recording devices on Deck 8 have been set on a recurring loop. No alarms were triggered, as the sensor feed was never interrupted, simply repeated" As Chan and Jamison nodded, Tiberian continued: "At time index 17 Gamma, the computer records show access to the main computers control protocols. These were then overridden, allowing the user complete access to the transporter inhbition grid. He or she then could deactivate aspects of the grid at will. When the access was discontinued, the perpetrator deleted the access codes records, overriding the security protocols. Thus we can conclude what was done, due to the data records, but without the access codes records, we've no idea of knowing exactly who did it" Now that the technical lecture was over, Tiberian leaned closer to Commander Chan, about to reveal the most critical aspect of his findings: "I think Ma'am, that its important to mention, that no run of the mill person could do this. Either someone is onboard who is a computer genius, or we have a traitor in our ranks. And if the latter is true, well..." His voice trailed off momentarily, before he forced himself to get a grip "It is my hypothesis that given that this material is of at least mid level security value, no-one below the rank of a full Lieutenant would have the security clearance to pull off something like this"

Having satisfied himself there was going to be no way of escaping his confinement simply by walking out of the area, TJ next turned his attention to a more detailed perusal of his surroundings. That it was not the Hepta was evidenced, not only by the different appearance of the interior of – wherever he was – but by the fact the uniforms worn by his guards were clearly not Federation issue.
Finding nothing he could do to effect his escape at the moment, he thought it best to conserve his energy for whatever lay ahead, and sat down in the corner of his cell.
He couldn't quite put his finger upon it, but there was something weighing heavily upon him – something other than his captivity. And as he sat there, a wariness over his immediate future enshrouded him, troubled him. Whatever it was, he would need all his strength to resist what was to come. This would not be easy!
Suddenly, he heard footsteps approaching...

She studied him as a scientist studies a lab rat.
He tested the strength of his walls. He tested the outcome of objects striking the confinement field and Xia smiled at the look on his face when he heard the distinctive crackling sound it produced. Rightfully, he had ascertained it was more of a pain-inflicting deterrent than a barrier. An ingenious device developed in the Tantalus System, it scanned objects passing through and instantaneously self-calibrated to produce the most intense, non-lethal pain imaginable. Humanoids would do anything to avoid its agony.
For the past few moments, he had chosen to sit in a corner, reserving his strength, no doubt. She decided it was time for their prisoner to expend some energy.
Xia unsheathed her ornamental daggers, one from her thigh and one from her arm. Her prized Varon-T disruptor went to the guard with the most to lose if he didn’t return it to her once she was through with her interrogation. Motioning to them to cut the field, she approached her lab rat.
He rose to his feet and immediately noticed her provocative uniform, if you could call it that, for more of it was missing than present. She didn’t have to pour on any feigned charm for Orion female pheromones did all her work for her. His reaction was immediate. No surprise there. However, he did surprise her by not acting on it. Only in instances where the male is extremely self-willed or have other stronger compulsions can her pheromones be staved off. Usually, with repeat exposure, all eventually succumb. Farrel had come close, but his colossal obsession with pillaging clouded her affects.
Xia circled him slowly, giving him more time to breathe in her elixir. She marveled at his restraint. Only after a single bead of perspiration appeared on his upper lip did she speak.
“I am Xia, First Officer of this vessel and your captor. I would like to be on more familiar terms with you,” she intoned seductively. “You’re obviously human. But, what are you are called?”
