"Computer open secure link to Lt James Daniels, London UK"
<Channel Open>
The face of a young security officer appeared on the screen.
"Commander its been a while"
"Indeed it has. I was wondering if you would be able to help me with something. I'm sending you some data I would like you to look over. I recieved it a few days ago before we left spacedock. I need to know whether I should got ONE about it. Ofcourse I dont want to needlessly go around alarming anyone." Jack said nervously.
"I just now recieved it I will analyze it and get back in touch with you ASAP. Usual code?" James asked knowing what that asnwer would be.
"Yes. Code: Red-1"
Jack's motion alarm went off telling him someone was approaching his quarters.
"Gotta Jay, Speak soon, Good news I hope."
"Aye. Sir"
Jacks door chime went off and before he could acknowledge it, Nurse Harper was in his room.
"Jack time for your medication, and if your lucky you might even get a massage."
"Well your know you always welcome Janice, I need the once over so that the Captain will let me return to work. Tiberian Flu or whatever I had after my mountaineering accident aint much fun, and my shoulder still hurts."
"Well let me see to that." Janice said getting her tricorder out.
"You know if the captain finds out, hes gonna kill us both" Jack said laughing.
OFF:
Apologise for my absence I am as you can tell returning to work. Xin-Ling if you could continue to do the brillaint job you are doing. And I will be in contact with my cadet with the next few days.
Adios
Jack

Cadet J'Ka was looking at the way the hollowdeck created the class of a planet and the first thing that came out of the mouth CAdet J'Ka was that a Class- H Planet also "have very little moisture and, although occasionally habitable, are generally far too dry and desert-like;and sometimes have an oxygen-argon atmosphere, and can have high levels of lethal radiation. which is very dangerous for normal human skins, bodys." and he procced to follow his instuctor hanging on every word he is saying and also paying very close attion to the hollowdeck planet. Still unsure what to expect from his instructor Cadet J'Ka just followed behind and observed the other Cadets that were there and was trying to learn from them also.

OFF: Well done Jamey! You made a very good "first" post!
Seth was astonished. "Well done cadet! He said to Jamey. "That was a flawless run! Are you sure that you haven't done this somewhere before?"
<<jamey>>
"You can do what you like for a moment, this way I can show cadet O'Connell the details of the helm. You are free to stay here, but if you want some time to relax you are free to do so." Seth said.
<<jamey>>
"Report back to me in four hours cadet Parker. Dismissed" Seth concluded as he turned his head towards Brandon O'Connell. "Ok cadet O'Connell, after you are seated in this chair, could you share with me the experience you have with piloting a ship?"

”Thank you. I have been around ships for a while now … its just … this is the first time on a star ship of this size.” Jamey responded pleased with the compliment from Seth.
Jamey wanted to stay on the bridge with Seth and Brandon but was worn out. “Thank you sir, I believe I will go and relax in my quarters.”
“Yes Sir”, then Jamey turned and walked to the lift and pressed the call button. The doors to the lift opened as he stepped in and said, “Deck number”
OFF (where is a list of what is on each deck for our ship?)

OOF: If you can't wait, don't! But I'm afraid Omicron will not get down to the Hepta for a while. We're going down the list of ships as they appear on the proboards home page. So right now we are working on the Jefferson, and next will be the El Salv and so on. Happy to hear about the successful surgery. ON: Commander Ford took his place at the Science Station. With no science cadets, William decided he would pay some of them a visit when they were off duty. Perhaps he could even visit sickbay, since the cadets there were training in a department similar to that of science. For the moment, William manned his station quietly.

Stuart had finally finished treating all of his holo-patients.
=/\= Cadet Stuart to Dr Mackler. =/\=
There was no response.
“Computer! Locate Dr Mackler.”
*Dr Mackler is located in her quarters.*
Stuart took a moment to think this over. ~ Mmh, what do I do now? ~
“Computer! End program.”
Thinking that Dr Mackler might just be taking some personal time, he didn’t want to bother her.
~ She surely doesn't need any beauty sleep. ~ Stuart thought with a slight smile.
Stuart decided to return to sickbay. Dr Mackler could review the results later. Once at sickbay, he wanted to familiarize himself with the location of the medical instruments and medications. This way he would be prepared when he would need those particular items.

Jordan had gone back to her quarters to sort out a few things there. She laid down on her bed and fell asleep by accident. She awakened a while later and looked around. She yawned and heard Draco chittering about something. She then realized she had fallen asleep and sat straight up.
Jordan: Computer, what time is it?
Computer: The time is 1600 hours.
Jordan ran into the bathroom, made herself look normal again as her hair had gotten messed up while she was sleeping, and ran down to sickbay. She ran through the doors and came to a stop in front of Stuart, who luckily had his back to her. He turned around, saw her, and smiled.
Jordan: I am sorry for disappearin' on ya at the holodeck cadet. I had somethin' to sort out back at my quarters and I lost track of the time.
Stuart: That's fine.
He saw that her eyes were still a little blurry from sleep and succeeded in not laughing. She had fallen asleep. Jordan pushed her hair back behind her ears and went into her office. She sat down in her chair and picked up her PADD. She read the results of the holodeck exercise that she had put Stuart through and nodded, impressed. Stuart came in and looked at her.
Jordan: Ya did very well on the holodeck exercise. I'm impressed. Now, we should start gettin' the away team down here so we can check them over. But first, I'd like to run a physical on ya since it is likely that you will be goin' on the away mission to the planet. Go sit on one of the biobeds.
Stuart was still surprised but did as he was told. He sat on a biobed and Jordan came over to him and ran a tricorder over him. She didn't find anything out of the ordinary. She closed the tricorder and smiled.
Jordan: I find nothin' wrong with ya cadet. You're cleared for the mission, at least from my end. Any suggestions as to who to call down here first?
<tag:Stuart> OFF: Remember you do need to report in to sickbay people.

Seth gathered his cadets around him. "Cadets, I have been informed that we are to report into sickbay to undergo some medical tests. Miss Torban will be on her post while we get our scan. <<tag Jamey, Brandon O'Connell>>The three of them walked to sickbay and found the cmo instructor and cadet there. Seth and Jamey had met them before, and after a short welcome Seth introduced his second cadet. "Lieutenant Seth Bern reporting for his medical scan" Seth said, as he said down on the biobed, fully confident that he would pass the physical. However, he was able to detect a disapproving look on the face of Stuart. "What's wrong cadet?" Seth asked. <<tag Stuart>>"Well, that doesn't sound too good. Mr Parker, Mr O'Connell, it seems that I will be spending some more time here. Would you be so kind to report to our first officer, Commander TJ Edwards? He will be able to guide you while I'm not in a state to do so." Seth said, as he sat on the biobed, thoughts running through his head. OFF: Ok Cadets, I will be gone untill 21 march. Enjoy your time here ! Cadet Mercy, have fun with your diagnostic for me, but be carefull that you don't chop me up too much for medical experiments ! I would like to be in one piece when I return !

William started. He just realised he had never gone to get his medical check-up. His shift ended very soon, and as soon as it did, the science officer headed for Sickbay.
"Sorry I didn't check in earlier, Dr.... Mackler, right?" said William as he entered the room.

Jamey walked down to sick bay with Seth for his check up.
“Which bio bed should I sit on”, Jamey asked Stuart. “Please remember that I’m a joined Trill”, Jamey said with a smile.
<<Tag Stuart … I remember in one of your last posts you wondered if I was a Joined Trill>>
“What shift do you want to take”, Jamey asked Brandon
<<tag Brandon O'Connell>>
“It does not matter to me … I can take the night shift; I don’t sleep very well anyway”, Jamey said. Jamey looked around sick bay to see if he knew anyone but he was really looking for the fire lizard. He wanted to see it again, he had been around one for a while on a cargo run, he found that they were very fascinating.

Jordan saw a number of people suddenly starting to show up for their physicals so they could be cleared for the away mission. She was approached by an older man that she didn't recognize but came to the conclusion that he must be the new science officer.
Ford: Sorry I didn't check in earlier Dr... Mackler, right?
Jordan: The one and only. Don't worry about not comin' to see me earlier. I'm used to sitting here in sickbay by myself. I think this is the first time that I've gotten people to come down here willin'ly where they haven't been injured in some way.
Jordan smiled and Ford laughed.
Jordan: Sit on one of the biobeds and I'll be right with ya Commander.
Jordan went into her office for a moment then came back out and approached Ford, who was swinging his legs back and forth. He sat up straight when she reached him. She scanned him up and down and then looked at the results.
Ford: So is it bad Dr. Mackler?
Jordan smiled and shook her head.
Jordan: You're just fine Commander. I find nothin' significantly wrong with ya though ya are a bit dehydrated. I suggest you drink plenty of water and you'll be fine.
Jordan turned when she heard her name called and she saw TJ walk into sickbay. She smiled and put a hand on her hip.
Jordan: I was wonderin' when you'd be gettin' yourself down here.
TJ: Can I speak t' ya in private Jordan?
Jordan's smile faded and she nodded. She showed him into her office and told Draco to keep her posted on what was going on outside and to tell her if there were any problems. Draco chirped and disappeared to the main room. TJ smiled at Draco's departure.
TJ: He does come in handy doesn't he?
Jordan: Yes, he does. Why don't ya sit down? What did ya want to talk to me about?
She leaned against the doorway and crossed her arms and one leg in front of the other. She was concerned. She hardly ever saw TJ and when she did, he didn't call her by her first name unless it was important. TJ sat down in a chair facing her and started talking.
TJ: I was wonderin' if ya had run those tests on th' captain after tha' little ordeal we had last mission.
Jordan: I did. There was no physical damage to him but I don't know about his mental state. ONE hardly shows emotion as is but it's nearly impossible to read him when he doesn't want to show anythin'. So I think he's fine but I still might keep an eye on him anyway just in case.
Jordan relaxed a little.
Jordan: Now why couldn't we have discussed this outside?
TJ: Th' officers who were onboard last mission know about what happened and they have been told t' keep it t' themselves unless someone on the base or higher up asks about it. However, I don't think it would be wise if it got out to the rest of the ship that our captain had a little ordeal last mission.
Jordan: Understandable.
TJ smiled and rose to his feet. He put a hand on her shoulder. Jordan smiled and they went back out into the main room. There were fewer people now in the room and Stuart was still talking with Lieutenant Bern. She turned to TJ and got a bit of a mischievious look in her eye, which made TJ pull back a bit.
Jordan: Since you're here already, I say we do your physical now.
TJ: Oh no. I have t' get back t' th' bridge.
He started to walk towards the doors when Jordan put a hand on his shoulder and turned him around.
Jordan: Would ya like to come back later for it then?
TJ: I don't need a physical exam. I'm perfectly fine.
Jordan might not have been able to read ONE's emotions but she could read the emotion in TJ's eyes clear as day. She was able not to laugh but she took her hand off his shoulder and stepped back.
Jordan: Very well. Then ya are not goin' on the away mission.
TJ: What?
Jordan: Those are the rules. Ya either do the physical exam or ya don't go. It's harmless and will only take a few minutes. I'm sure ONE will excuse ya for a few minutes.
TJ ran his fingers through his hair and sighed. It was difficult arguing with her.
TJ: All right.
TJ sat down on a biobed and Jordan scanned him. She glanced at the results and then at TJ with a feigned worried look on her face. TJ became worried.
TJ: What is it?
Jordan: Nothin'. Just wanted to make ya squirm. You're cleared. Remember to drink plenty of water though.
TJ laughed and walked out of sickbay, headed back for the bridge. Jordan stretched momentarily then went back to her work.

Jordan: I find nothin' wrong with ya cadet. You're cleared for the mission, at least from my end. Any suggestions as to who to call down here first? Just as Stuart was about to open his mouth the sickbay doors swished open. The lieutenant and cadet that Stuart had met earlier had walked in, along with a second cadet that he didn’t know."Lieutenant Seth Bern reporting for his medical scan" Seth said, as he said down on the biobed, fully confident that he would pass the physical. Dr Mackler replied “Normally I would do the officers and let you take care of the cadets, but I’m pretty sure that Lt Bern will be in competent hands if you were to go ahead and do his physical.”
“In the meantime, cadets, go ahead and seat yourselves on any of the other biobeds. Cdt Mercy will be with you in a minute.”
While the cadets had placed themselves, Stuart was performing his scan, which indicated that not all was well with the lieutenant. He gave a disapproving look.
“What’s wrong cadet?” Seth asked.
“Have you been feeling well lately?” Stuart inquired.
“Well, now that you mentioned it, I haven’t really slept too well and I have some drainage through my nasal cavity.”
Stuart tapped on his PADD for information and asked another question to help in his diagnosis. “Restlessness and drainage. I bet you also have a slight cough every now and then.”
Lt Bern looked at Stuart with surprise and replied “Why yes. What does all this mean?”
“Nothing too serious, lieutenant.” Stuart reassured him. “It seems that you have the Arethian Flu. I will have Dr Mackler go over my readings and confirm. You will require what are called tryptophan-lysime distillates. The bad news is that with your Bajoran physiology, it will take approximately four days to overcome this flu. That means four days of rest. If Dr Mackler concurs you will need to be placed on medical leave during this time.”"Well, that doesn't sound too good. “After I do their physicals of course.” Stuart concluded with Lt Bern. “Other than that, you are in good health. If you would just wait for Dr Mackler to finish with the commander (Cmndr Ford), I’ll have her recheck your scans.”
Stuart then went over to the cadet he had met in the corridor earlier.“Please remember that I’m a joined Trill”, Jamey said with a smile. “I was wondering that very thing earlier.” Stuart answered. He started his scans. “Your scans look good, of both you and your symbiont. isoboramine levels are where they are supposed to be. You’ll be able to go to the surface if you join the away team.”
Cdt Parker jumped off the biobed with glee, “That’s great. I mean I had no doubt, but it’s great nonetheless. I hope I am on that away team.” Cdt Parker left sickbay in sheer happiness and delight.
In the meantime another commander (Cmndr1 Edwards) had entered and disappeared with Dr Mackler into her office. Stuart didn’t really take note of this as he continued his scans of Cdt O’Connell. He was also cleared with good health and was sent on his way. After completing the holodeck training Cleburn had heard the order to report to Sickbay for a check up. McLeod walked into sickbay, and saw some other cadets getting checked over. He walked over to a medical person and said, "Cadet Cleburn McLeod reporting for exam." Just when Stuart thought he could take a short break.
“Have a seat over here on this biobed.” Stuart proceeded to scan Cdt McLoed. He was also very healthy and cleared for the away team. “You’re good to go. McLoed.”
As anyone who hears good news, Cdt McLoed was happy and left to return to his duties.
Dr Mackler had reappeared with the commander and performed his physical. She had finished and sent him on his way with a clean bill of health.
Dr Mackler noted that Lt Bern was still here and approached Stuart. “Why is he still here? Did he not pass?”
Stuart handed over the PADD with Lt Bern’s physical results for Dr Mackler's opinion. “It seems that he has Arethian Flu. If I’m correct about the treatment, he will need to be placed on medical leave for four days.” Stuart observed while Dr Mackler looked over Lt Bern's scans and Stuarts' diagnosis of treatment.
OOC: Sorry if it seems long, but you guys gave me lots to do.

Remembering the commander saying we needed to get together with engineering, she sends a message to them. "We have found three bugs. What can we do to help eliminate them?" she says. <<tag: engineering>> Off: Sorry it took so long for me to reply. I've been extremely busy with my studies, but that's of course hardly an excuse for an Instructor. I'll keep up from now on. My apologies. On: James had been working in the jeffries tubes rewiring some replicators so they would stop producing old shoes. He had almost forgot about Cadet Janeway when he suddenly realized he had asked her to take care of some bugs in the sensor system. "Computer, locate Cadet Janeway." #Cadet Janeway is in corridor 4b proceeding to corridor 4 c#. "Aaah that's on her way to Engineering." It took a second for the computer to reply. #Extrapolating her current trajectory is pointless as there are several different corridors Cadet Janeway can take, Engineering not necessarily being her final destination# James shot the computer an angry look, mumbeling something about hanging the person responsible for inventing talking computers.
A few minutes later, James had caught up with Cadet Janeway. "Well, how did it go? How many bugs did you find?" Cadet Janeway looked up. "Three bugs in th sensor system sir. I was just on my way to Engineering to see what they can do with it." "Perfect. Only three? Are you sure?" Cadet Janeway nodded. "Quite sure sir. Is there something wrong with my analysis?" "No no! That's good, that's good. It just means the damage isn't as bad as I thought it would be." James took her PADD and reviewed the results. "Perfect! Good work Cadet."
Moments later, they entered Engineering. Cadet Janeway walked over to the "pool table" in the centre of Engineering. She fed the computer information and started recalibrating the sensors to weed out the sensor glitches. And hour later it was completed and the crew was ordered to Sickbay for their general check-up. "You go ahead Cadet. They can't examine us all at the same time. I'll meet you on the Bridge after your check-up.
James went up to the Bridge and re-checked the new sensor configurations. Cadet Janeway had done an admirable job. Everything was now up to scratch. The ship would soon be arriving at their designated coordinates and now the ship would be ready for its scientific mission. <TAG: Janeway, anyone else. Doc, I'll be down in Sickbay soon>

Off: Sorry it took so long for me to reply. I've been extremely busy with my studies, but that's of course hardly an excuse for an Instructor. I'll keep up from now on. My apologies. Off: What he said! On: MacHeath was still on the holodeck with Commander Chang and Cadets J'Ka and McCleod. After a short lecture on what it would be like on a J-Class planet, he had re-initiated all the weather effects and shown them how to move across the surface without completely exhausting yourself in the first five minutes. The weather was bad and they all got soaked within the first ten minutes of the training. Lightning illuminated the sky every few seconds and it was hard to hear each other over the howling wind. Mac could see despair rising in his Cadets. Would they really have to go out in weather like this? Yep, they most certainly would.
An hour later, Doctor Mackler came over the comm.
=^=Marines and Security, please report to Sickbay for a general check-up=^=
MacHeath at first didn't hear it.
=^=What was that Doctor?=^=
He could almost sense Doctor Mackler's irritation and he certainly heard it loudly and clearly as she yelled over the comm.
=^=SECURITY AND MARINES REPORT TO SICKBAY FOR A GENERAL CHEK-UP!!!!!!=^=
MacHeath could hardly conceal a smile.
=^=Understood Doc, on our way.=^=
He turned towards the rest. "Computer, delete weather effects." A few seconds later, Hell closed its terrible mouth and things quieted down. "All right, we've been ordered to Sickbay for a physical. Get to your quarters and put on a clean uniform, then report to Sickbay. Dismissed!"
MacHeath looked at Commander Chang. "Well, at least they now what they'll be up against once we reach the system," he said casually. "Indeed. I'm curious to see what they will do when actually placed in the situation," she answered.
Half an hour later, MacHeath reported to Sickbay. <TAG: Medic!>

At the dismissal from the holodeck, Security Chief Parker and Xin-Ling left to their prospective quarters to prepare themselves to report for their physical exams.
Mr. Parker, accompanied by Cadet O'Neill, was first to arrive at Sickbay.
"Mr. Parker reporting as ordered, SIR!" he said to Dr. Mackler with a grin, which was mirrored by the Security cadet. <RSVP: Dr. Mackler> Almost immediately thereafter, Xin-Ling stepped through the Sickbay doors and caught Dr. Mackler's eye.

Brandon O'Connell had agreed to take the day shift and Jamey was just fine with that … he like the night watch. You expected things on the day shift; the night watch could be either way. Sometimes it was just that … a watch; then at on other nights things could get interesting.
Jamey was just walking around the ship heading for his quarters but not really wanting to get there fast. ‘I would really like to run into someone who wanted to sit and chat for a while’, Jamey thought to himself. He liked being alone, however not all the time.
He ran into some other cadets in the corridor, and stopped to talk to them. Most he had never seen before, however then he remembered how big the ship was and how the cadets he had already talked to were just a few in the class.
“Are you off duty now”, Jamey asked
“No,” one Cadet answered, “We are on our way to sick bay for our check up.”
Jamey explained how he had just come from there and some other small conversation came and went and Jamey found himself walking to 10-Forward.
