Having completed his little meeting with the Captain, and having received his further orders, Tiberian stormed from the bridge, ordering the team to re-assemble in the transporter room. Hee emerged from the trubolift to be greeted by Martinez who handed him back his rifle and pakc that he had abandoned to speak to the Captain. "He complained about my language!" Tiberian exclaimed exasperatedly after a moments silence "We lost two dead and three wounded, only recovered just over twenty people and were forced to retreat, and he brings up something that he heard over the comms chatter!" "He's Starfleet, we're UFOPMC, we're bound to have our differences" Martinez rationalised quietly from the Captain's point of view. "Still" Tiberian muttered moodily as they entered the transporter room where a fifteen man team including the doctor had re-assembled. "Alright people listen hard and fast. We are going in to destroy the impulse engines. We will beam directly into the engine room, and from there proceed to destroy the impulse manifolds, power relays, and their driver coil if we can get to it. We will be beaming in under fire people, and we are going to lose a lot of people very quickly unless we take them out fast. So shoot first, shoot all of them, and be ruthless. If they're not in our uniform, kill 'em on sight. The Sergeant Major will take three men and seal the entrance once we have secured the area, whilst the rest of us set spatial charges on the necessary systems. Move fast, move smart, move safe, and move like marines. Let's go" A chorus of "oohra!" went around the room as they took up positions on the padd, forming a full 360 degree wall of phasers. "Any last words?" Martinez joked as he and Tiberian adjusted their rifles to maximum setting. Tiberian snorted a laugh. "Semper Fi!" He grinned, looking down the sight of his rifle as he once again felt a transporter beam grip him. The element of surprise and firepower was with them this time, and within less than a second of having beamed in all fifteen of them had opened fire inside the transporter room simultaneously. Eight Nekori on ground level were felled, and another seven were shot either on or off the gantry above. The circle formation split, with groups of three running back and forth, firing in unison before the shocked Nekori could even draw their weapons. Tiberian shot one man on the above gantry, and another man by what appeared to be the Nekori warp core who was frantically working a console. Within twenty seconds it was all over, and nearly forty Nekori lay dead or under heavy stun about the engine room. Tiberian gestured to Martinez, who led his team to secure the main door. "Charges people" Tiberian called out. Removing the case of spatial charges from Corporal Jones' pack. The team went to work, their tricorders leading them to the appropriate devices to be destroyed. Within three minutes both good and bad new had occured. On the up side, the charges were all placed. On the multiple bad sides, the Nekori had arrived outside and seemed adamant to batter the door open, the heavy interference around the warp core meant that the charges would have to be detonated at fairly close proximity, and the console Tiberian was currently reading indicated that the Nekori were quite close to regaining warp power. "Is it shielded?" Martinez asked Tiberian about the warp core, worrying that the resultant blast might destroy everything and everyone. "One way to find out" Tiberian levelled his phaser rifle and fired three shots directl at the core, all of which were absorbed by it's defence shield. "Thank the Virgin" Both Martinez and Tiberian crossed themselves, exchanging those smug grins that men share when they were just a hair's breadth away from death. "Alright ladies and gentlemen, upstairs and into the ante chamber" Tiberian ordered the team, who trooped up the ladder and onto the gantry, then passing through a solid blast door and into a control room. The door closed, and Martinez scanned it with his tricorder. "It's a neutronium composite, so it'll hold" "OK, we blow the charges and then contact the Olympia and tell the Captain we may have to eject the warp core as well" Tiberian informed his team "Get away from the bulkheads and prepare for a bang" The entire team congregated in the centre of the room, crouching down and bowing their heads as they gripped their rifles tightly. Propping his rifle between his left shoulder and head, Tiberian withdrew his tricorder with his right hand and armed the spatial charges. "Jones" He called "Did anyone actually detonate those charges we planted earlier" "Hell no" the Carribean corporal replied "Brothers all to busy getting the hell out of there...sir" He added seeing the look on Tiberian's face. "OK then, I'll tie those in on the same frequency. The bang may be a bit bigger, but the holes will at least stop them from developing a stable warp field for a few more minutes" He primed all the charges "We should have left a joint down in the engine room, it's going to cook in their in a second flat!" Some of the men laughed at the weak joke as Tiberian bowed his own head and braced himself along with all the others. "Fire in the hole!" His finger was a millimetre away from the detonator.
<TAG anyone on the Olympia who doesn't want me to blow up that weapon and kill us all!>

Bezan had gone back to the engine room after, having a break from the excitment of scientific research. He was more an hands on person. Hence his return to the engine room.
"Jansen full report please" Bezan requested.
"Yes sir " He replied handing him a report padd.
Bezan sat back looking over the reports, thinking how the boarding party might be doing on the Nekori vessle.
OOC: Guys sorry had no time to follow story, will catch up, i've had family stuff to deal with.

Daniel choose to remain on the Olympia as the away mission would not require him as much as those they had just rescued, he had spent the past 20 minutes moving between the groups of survivors making sure they were comfortable and ensuring that they knew they could talk to him if they wished too. Most of the children were silent but that was to be expected, but it troubled Daniel what they must have seen and gone through. Walking onto the bridge he moved quickly to take the seat left of the captain, as he was about to report on the condition of the rescued personnel Crystal spoke from her station.
"Captain Tan, sir. I think they are storing the unactivated weapons somewhere near their engines. Major Wong and his party should be careful. I don't know if a hand phaser could set it off but I am pretty sure a charge or an explosion would do it, as could the Olympia's phasers"
Daniel quickly turned to look at the Nekori ship then back to the captain, there was only one course of action to take but it was not his place to tell him his job. ~Well offensive strategies seem not to be working today~ watching the captain he hoped David would say something soon or there might be a big explosion going off outside.

OOC: I hope no one feels I'm being too presumptuous by posting this.
Captain Tan indicated that Crystal should make the necessary communication, she was the one with the data at her finger tips.
=/\= Ensign Rose to Major Wong. Sir my readings indicate that there are a number of unactivated weapons near the Nekori ship's engines and I believe that a charge or an explosion could set them off=/\=
There was silence of the comm link for a very long moment. Crystal wondered what was going on on the other ship. Then the Major's voice came over the link in response.
<Tag: Major Wong>
Crystal scanned the ship again and then gave him as much information as possible about the devices location relative to his. It seemed that fortunately there were none in the room the XO and his team were currently in although there were a couple that Crystal felt were too close for comfort. Of course she realised that the Marines might have a different definition of 'too close for comfort'

=/\= Ensign Rose to Major Wong. Sir my readings indicate that there are a number of unactivated weapons near the Nekori ship's engines and I believe that a charge or an explosion could set them off=/\= The communication interrupted Tiberian a fraction of a millesecond before he hit the detonator button. He breathed out heavily for a minute before replying to the ensign. =/\=You sure as hell pick your moments ensign. How close are these weapons?=/\= The science officer told him about the weapons proximity, and Tiberian was agreed that the next room was a little too close for comfort. =/\=Thanks for the heads up ensign. You keep your scans up, and if those weapons start fluctuating, let us know. Wong out=/\= He stood up. "Well ladies and gentlemen, we have a reprieve from the demonstration of the big bang theory" He deactivated the charges in the engine room "I want those charges pulled and stowed asap, then get about dismantling, depolarising or discombobulating whatever the hell they were attached to. I want a clean sweep and job done in five for evac, so let's move it or lose it" The team ran from the room and dropped down the ladder with great swiftness, running about the room and recovering all the unexploded munitions, before going to town on the machinery with all manner of tools and weapons. Within a few minutes only Tiberian and Martinez remained at work, blasting away the last bits of viable impulse driver coil that could be accessed. The remainder of the team were congregating by the warp core, and noticing it slowly approaching its peak power output. The main blast door into the engine room was fast being breached by what looked like a very large bipolar torch, and time was of the essence. Tiberian and Martinez rejoined the group, just as a nearby Nekori officer slowly regained his feet holding his head. A marine raised his rifle to shoot him, but Tiberian raised the weapon quickly with his free right hand, then approaching the officer himself. Tiberian tapped the Nekori on the shoulder, and when he turned to face him bleary eyed, hit him square in the face with the butt of his rifle, sending him unconscious to the floor. Lifting the heavy alien over his shoulder, Tiberian walked back to the group. "We could probably use information, or a bargaining chip" He reasoned. Just then the door finally caved in, and the Nekori on the other side came charging through. The marines rapidly withdrew around the corner firing, and moved back into yet another antechamber, this one filled with surplus engine parts. The door was sealed, and Tiberian tapped his comm badge. =/\=Wong to Olympia, we need evac now=/\= =/\=Roger that Major, we'll have you in just a minute=/\= =/\=That had better be a damn short minute=/\= Tiberian retorted as the channel closed and the Nekori began hammering on the door. A brainwave crossed Tiberian's mind, and he withdrew his tricorder, activating the spatial charges. Martinez interrupted him. "Sir, all those charges are back in Corporal Jones' pack. Blowing them up might not be the best idea" He joked. "Hell yeah it's not a good idea" Jones added, wide eyed with terror over what he had not gather to be a joke on the part of the Sergeant Major. "As much as I do love a good suicide attempt, these are the charges we placed earlier" He activated them all "Fire in the hole" From the outside of the Nekori vessel the space was motionless. Then, in a sudden flash, a small eight or nine explosions burst form the sides of the Nekori at irregular decks and sections. Whjat the effect was like inside was unclear, as on that moment they were transported back to the Olympia, safe and sound. Stepping down from the transporter padd, Tiberian dumped the Nekori officer on two privates. "Take him to sickbay and secure him on a biobed in a restraining field. The doctor can help you" He nodded to Mallen "Go with them Sergeant Major. Make out guest as uncomfortable as is necessary to make him co-operative. i'll be back shortly with the Captain and Commander Smith" Tiberian left them there and moved out and into a turbolift, going to the bridge where the Captain and Commander were both conveniently sat. "Captain Tan, Commander Smith" Tiberian drew their attention "We have a prisoner down in sickbay who could give us valuable information, if you would like to accompany me to the interrogation, I will brief you on the mission on the way"
<TAG Smith and Tan>
As the three left the bridge, Tiberian looked around, only to realise that the young acting ensign was the only member of senior staff present. "It would appear that the bridge is yours Miss Rose. Try to keep us in one piece 'til we get back" He laughed as the turbolift doors closed.
<TAG Anyone>
OOC: Don't worry ensign, something like this isn't being presumptuous, it's just good writing. Now, writing a sudden explosion killing the heroic and handsome first officer, that would be being presumptuous. Anyway, the bridge is yours, so let those creative juices flow.

Kiral led the marines with their alien prisoner to sickbay, and supervised them as they dumped the unconscious body on a biobed. They stood off to the side, then, and let the doctor work. She erected a restraining field all around the Nekori. It wouldn't be able to move more than a micrometer in any direction, though she did leave its head and neck free.
She began to prepare a dosage of Netinaline, to wake the alien from unconsciousness when the Captain and First Officer arrived. She had just finished when it began to stir on its own. Suddenly, the Nekori opened its eyes, red and menacing. Mallen watched with interest as it looked around sickbay. The bright red eyes focused on her for several seconds, observing her face, before moving on.
Then it realized that it couldn't move.
Mallen jumped back in surprise as it started shouting in its alien tongue, spewing what were clearly obscenities that the universal translator had no words for. The marine guards lifted their weapons, ready to blow the Nekori back into unconsciousness. Mallen shouted over the noise for them to relax, and they uneasily lowered the guns.
=/\= Mallen to Captain Tan and Major Wong. The Nekori has woken up... It's REALLY angry. If you're going to... interrogate it... you should get down here quickly. =/\=
=/\= We're already on our way, =/\= was the reply.
Mallen approached the alien and attached a device to its neck to monitor its life signs. Because of the restraint field, it could do nothing to prevent this except snarl and give her a glare that could probably have killed. She felt no sympathy for it, knowing what its kind had done. The glare that she gave it in retaliation was so furious that it actually fell silent for a moment. Then, when it realized that she wasn't going to kill it, it resumed the cursing with a vengeance.
Kiral would probably excuse herself to her office when the interrogation started. No matter what the Nekori had done, interrogation made her feel queasy. In the meantime, though, she just sat back and waited, shutting her eyes as if it would block out the noise. She would let it yell itself hoarse until the captain arrived.

"It would appear that the bridge is yours Miss Rose. Try to keep us in one piece 'til we get back" He laughed as the turbolift doors closed.
Crystal could do no more than nod in response. She wasn't at all sure what to make of the XO's comment. She shivered slightly and looked around, Crystal was sure Lt Biers had been here last time she had checked but he seemed to have stepped out somewhere. If he came back then he could be in charge. Although she supposed that the Counselor would probably have about as much idea of what to do as she did.
She swallowed hard and thought for a moment, this wasn't the time to do something silly. She turned to the ensign at tactical.
"I want to know if that ship" she gestured vigorously at the viewscreen although it was perfectly obvious which ship she was talking about "moves so much as a micron, powers up so much as a millijoule of shield or weaponry or does anything else that could even be vaguely described as hostile or attempting to escape."
The ensign looked perturbed for about half a second and then nodded an answer. It was what he was doing anyway. Crystal also nodded. She knew she was supposed to be in charge but he was higher ranked than her although she was senior staff. Crystal hadn't really thought about rank protocols until this moment, her policy was to call every single officer 'Sir' and to generally keep her head down. Now though it was making her head spin.
She looked around the bridge, the outer stations were manned but it seemed very big and very quiet with the central chairs all empty. She knew she could technically take the Captain's seat at this moment but decided that attending her own station was a much better option. Although the big centre chair did look very comfy.
Crystal went back to the science station, keeping half an ear open in case the Ensign called her or someone else came onto the bridge. She was running yet more scans of the Nekori vessel it was really in bad shape now, the XO's explosives had done their work and the lighting was off in half the vessel. She narrowed the focus of her scans, she was going to go over that vessel atom by atom which is why it was important that someone was keeping an eye on the whole ship.
She could do this.
She wondered how things were going down in sickbay and then decided that perhaps she didn't really want to know.

When Daniel heard the major confirm he was not going to be blowing himself up, he decided it was best he continue with his duties elsewhere, taking the turbo lift he made his way back to the temporary quarters that the rescued people were housed in. Walking in he got that same fearful look they gave anyone who came through the door, sitting on the floor near the door he watched as the people around him physically relaxed. He began discussing what they would need while on the Olympia so that he could be collected for them, the list was fairly short.
“well I will have these things sent to you, do you want the crew to bring them in or leave them outside and let you bring them in when you think it is safe” Daniel knew if the crew kept coming in they would be jumping out of their skins every five minutes. The oldest woman who seemed to have taken charge asked if they could leave it outside and they would bring them in. Nodding he left slowly he handed the Padd to the first ensign that crossed his path as he headed for sickbay.
As he came in he saw with shock a Nekori on a biobed throwing a fit at anything that came near him, seeing doctor Mallen in her office he made his way over and knocked on her door. “Commander, I just would like to ask that for the time being could you avoid sending any medical staff to the quarters where our rescued people are staying, they seem very nervous about any crew member especially blue shirts” he watched as Kiral looked worried about the idea, “or at least only one at a time, and do not take them out unless it is necessary, they would probably have a panic attack otherwise” this seemed ok to the doctor, before he could ask what a Nekori officer was doing here Steven, David and Tiberian entered and turned towards the Nekori.
Daniel walked out and he realised what was about to happen here, and why Kiral was nervous they were going to interrogate him. Walking to the captain he asked “Sir, may I be of any help to you with this” quickly looking at the Nekori.

Steve got out of the Ops position on the bridge and proceeded to follow Major Wong and the captain into the turbolift. He passed 'his' command chair and paused, wondering if this was all such a good idea after all. Not that he doubted his crew at all, but not one of them was prepared for this, himself included. Also with a relatively new crew, they didn't have the experience either. Steve had faith in them all, and knew that they would pull through for him....and more importantly, for David, who was their commanding officer for this mission.
Steve had to admit to himself that he was starting to feel a small urge to re-take command....but he thought back to the promise he made to David that he wasn't going to jump in at the first sign on trouble. There was a long way to go yet. Mistakes or bad decisions WILL happen...that's all part and parcel of being a Captain.
Steve looked to the turbolift and saw the CO and XO waiting. He turned towards them and entered, with the doors closing behind him.
"Sorry," He said, to both of them. "I was just thinking about something. Not that important." He added, taking a long deep breath and sighing.

The Nekori was seemingly hurling abuse at the medical staff as Wong, Smith, and Tan entered sick-bay .. David motioned for everyone to more aside as he approached the alien ...
"I'm Captain David Tan ..." he began. But received a barrage of shouting from the thing strapped to the bio-bed before him .. David just watched him, thinking he'd go quiet once he knew his tactic wasn't working ..
"I am Captain David Tan." David said again once the Nekori went quiet, "I want all the informa ......."
"You will get NOTHING from me !" the alien interrupted, "Send me back to my ship .. NOW .. Or every human on board will be mutilated beyond recognition."
"Oh I really don't think you will have time to do anything more to our people .. On the other hand I am more than capable of destroying you and your vessel." David said with a calmness he definitely wasn't feeling.
The alien grinned .. Speaking quietly in his own language for a few seconds. everyone in the room thought it was yet another threat ..
It was ! ..
Three bodies, one a child, appeared in Sick-bay .. Or to be more precise, parts of three bodies, because most of the limbs and internal organs were missing .. It dawned on Tan and Major Wong in the same instant .. Sub-dermal transmitter ! ...
Wong stepped forward, landing a blow to the aliens temple .. It went still instantly ..
"Keep it unconscious." the Major ordered, "Run whatever scans you need but get that transmitter out of him before we wake him !" he finished, glancing at David, but not intending to apologize for his actions .. Nor did Tan expect one ...
David and Steven looked at the newly arrived bodies .. Tan knew that his CO must be worrying about his Command, and his ship, as well as the people they came to save .. But he stayed silent, obviously willing to see what Tan did next ..
Tan turned to look down at the now sedated Nekori .. He hated this race with a passion .. He knew that now .. He was convinced he would do anything, go as far as necessary, to get the hostages back .. Regardless of his Command prospects ! ...
He looked up at Tiberian .. Locking eyes as if trying to figure out what his XO was capable of, but it didn't matter, he wanted answers ...
"Clear Sick-bay." he ordered, several of the medical staff looked uncertain, he repeated the order, this time more slowly, and with a menace in his voice he didn't much like, "Clear sick-bay .. NOW..."
Everyone, with the exception of Major Wong and Steven Smith left the department .. Tan looked at Steven for a few seconds, wondering vaguely if he would take Command back after what David was about to order ...
"Major .." he said, then hesitated as both Wong and Smith looked at him, "Major .. I want all the information this .. Alien has .. I don't want him killed .. Do you understand me .. But i MUST know how to get our people back !"
Wong simply nodded, but David could see something in Steven's face. He wasn't quite sure what, disappointment maybe, he didn't know.. But the COO simply looked from the alien, to Wong, then Tan himself. Then, with the minutest nod, seemingly agreed with what David was doing ...
Leaving the Marine Major alone, both Officers silently left sick-bay ...
David felt sick to his stomach ..........

As the Captain and the Nekori traded a heated exchange, Tiberian turned to address Lieutenant Biers. "There's not much you can do now Lieutenant. But if you wouldn't mind sitting in on the questioning, perhaps an idea of the Nekori mindset might be useful" At this point the mutilated bodies of three people were transported into the sickbay, the Nekori having quietly muttered something. Both Tan and Tiberian gauged the same idea at the same time; a subdermal transmitter. Tiberian stepped forward, landing a blow to the aliens temple .. It went still instantly. "Keep it unconscious." Tiberian ordered, "Run whatever scans you need but get that transmitter out of him before we wake him !" he finished, glancing at David, but not intending to apologize for his actions .. Nor did Tan expect one ... He looked up at Tiberian .. Locking eyes as if trying to figure out what his XO was capable of, but it didn't matter, he wanted answers. Tiberian responded to this look, showing the dark fire that burned behind his eyes, one which he released when put in the right circumstances. "Clear Sick-bay." Tan ordered, several of the medical staff looked uncertain, he repeated the order, this time more slowly, and with a menace in his voice "Clear sick-bay .. NOW..." Everyone, with the exception of Tiberian and Steven Smith left the department .. Tan looked at Steven for a few seconds, wondering vaguely if he would take Command back after what David was about to order ... "Major .." he said, then hesitated as both Tiberian and Smith looked at him, "Major .. I want all the information this .. Alien has .. I don't want him killed .. Do you understand me .. But i MUST know how to get our people back !" Tiberian simply nodded, understadning what must be done, and having no regrets about it under the circumstances. Leaving the Marine Major alone, both Officers silently left sick-bay. Tiberian stood silently for a moment, staring at the Nekori, then touching his comm badge. =/\=Wong to Martinez. You can come back in now Sergeant Major=/\= Martinez entered the door, and took up a position to the right of Tiberian. "Same as Dalsan" He asked, remembering a similar episode in their past. "No. This is information gathering, and it's sanctioned by the powers that be. As such, it's off the books" Tiberian spoke perhaps a little too calmly and matter-of-factly about this, possibly in a way which would unnerve most normal people. Martinez shrugged. "So what's first?" "First we get the transmitter out. Grab a medical tricorder" Tiberian removed his jacket and tunic, placing them both over the console as well as his equipment belt, leaving him stood in his green standard issue T-shirt. He pressed the private comms button. =/\=Wong to Lieutenant Trul=/\= =/\=Trul here sir=/\= =/\=Mr Trul, I believe that you're having some trouble with the sensors in and around sickbay. You should probably shut them all down and run a full diagnostic=/\= =/\=I don't understand sir, sensors seem fin...=/\= Tiberian cut across him. =/\=Who is the first officer here Mr Trul, get it done asap=/\= He closed the channel abruptly, then withdrawing his marine issue knife from his belt. "Computer, seal sickbay" Martinez approached with the tricorder, scanning up and down the Nekori, before settling on a spot on his jaw. "Implant's here" he said "About two centimetres in. Do you want a laser scalp..." He stopped as Tiberian drove his knife into the Nekori's face, drawing a moderate amount of greyish blood. The implant was teased loose, and Tiberian closed the wound haphazardly with a dermal regenerator. "No exactly professional" he said as Martinez removed his tunic and belt as well "But we don't need it to hold for long. Get me two cc's of atronephrine to wake him up, and something that will hypersensitise his nervous system" "Seftraxin is pretty good" Martinez informed him as he applied both hyposprays in turn to the Nekori's neck. He began to stir, though still groggy and disoriented. Tiberian resheathed his knife and drew his stun baton, flicking it out to it's full 18+ inch length, and activating it's electric charge end. "I'm going to lower the restraining field" he warned Martinez "You'll need to get him stood and still" "Don't worry" Martinez had flicked out his own baton "I know what I'm doing" The field went down, and the Nekori was hoisted up. As the bluriness in his vision cleared, he saw the imposing figure of Tiberian stood smiling at him. Then a crushing blow from his baton struck straight across the Nekori's face, shattering his jaw, and sending him to the ground with a scream that must have been audible outside the room. Tiberian and Martinez closed on the Nekori, batons raised. "We can do this one of two ways" Tiberian warned him "The hard way, or the worse way" He lay in another blow, this time on the Nekori's knee. The screams were terrible to hear.
OOC: I'm going to drag this over into another post before I get some information. If anyone wants to, there could probably be some concerned chatter outside as to what's going on.

Taking care of some of the things in his compartment, Halthor was in bewilderment of how he would set his nearest bookcase to the side or whether it would be better to set it near his bed so that he could just reach out grab a book, then read it and then after he got a bit tired he could be able to just put the book right back on the book case. Immediately after he had made some adjustments to his compartment a communique was being made to Halthor's combadge, "Halthor come to sick bay immediately we have a prisoner who needs handled with"
He then responded "Understood sickbay ill be on my way, dont let the prisoner do anything rash i can handle it when i arrive" Halthor was ready for this prisoner, even though he didnt know his or her name he was bound to find out. Getting his equipment ready Halthor got some of the item's that were needed in the case this prisoner were to strike back. Halthor finished getting all that he needed and then walked out of his compartment and proceeded straight towards the turbolift, "Sickbay" The turbolift shot off with amazing speed then stopped.
Halthor watched as the doors of the turbolift opened and then halthor proceeded immediately towards sickbay. As he had arrived he noticed a UFOP Marine Corps unit stationed right next to the door of sickbay. Halthor then motioned "This must be some crazy imposter, none the less i will be able to handle it." He then motioned again "Marines stand by and open the door to sickbay, i will be coming in to see who this imposter is."
The door swung open and Halthor walked in and the door shut behind him with the shield engaging. He looked around to find Lt. Biers, Smith, and Major Wong of the UFOP Marine Corps, and the imposter. "Looks to me like you all wanted to make sure i arrived safely and this imposter would not get out of control." Halthor chuckled a little and replied "I was just kidding, anywho lets see what we can get out of this Nekori".
Halthor walked towards the Nekori while seeing him lay on the ground screaming, Halthor spoke "i will handle this from here major you just make sure he doesnt escape", walking towards the nekori he offered his hand to pick him up and watched as the nekori grabbed Lt. Commander Halthor's hand and walked towards one of the sickbay beds. "Lay there and be still, i need to ask you some questions, because we want to know what is the meaning of why your here." The nekori looked at Halthor "Tell me what is your name first and foremost", looking at the nekori respond "My name is Garthan Shrivo" Halthor nodded, "Looks like were getting somewhere"

As Daniel watched Steven and David leave he waited outside a few moments before forcing his way into sickbay, after convincing the marine on guard to let him back in he walked in to see the Nekori on the ground taking a beating. He moved to one side to wait till they started asking questions, he began to feel odd but could not tell why ~I am never sitting in a interrogation like this again~.
Eventually Wong stopped and moved back slightly, Daniel did not remember when Vander Haltor entered sickbay, but he somehow got the Nekori’s name. Moving forward he looked into the Nekori’s eyes to see what was going on in that head of his, as he looked he felt that strange feeling again only stronger. As he focused on the feeling he saw images of the things the Nekori had done. The experiments on humans and races Daniel had never seen before and heard the screams of them as they were slowly killed.
Jumping back into the wall very quickly both senior officers looked at him thinking it was the integration, “I’m sorry sir, I have to get some air” turning he left sickbay and staggered outside, Daniel collapsed onto the wall next to the sickbay, nursing his head he went through all the memories he had absorbed looking for a reason the connection had been so difficult to break.
After a few minutes he found nothing to help the captain, not that he was going to admit that this even happened, he would rather be thought of as weak then as an intruder of the mind. But it was obivisious that the only explanation was that he was telepathic and had thrown those images at him to keep him away, he would have to tell them that when they came out. He wasn’t going in there after that.

The bridge stayed quiet and Crystal kept working. None of the other members of the senior staff had returned and she wasn't about to interrupt whatever they were doing unless it was important.
Her scans had finished and at this moment she probably had more information the Nekori vessel that it's captain. She stretched slightly working a knot out of her neck. She had pinpointed the precise areas where the weapons were stored. There was a lot of activity in the ships engine room by so far no sign that they had managed to get anything running again. As far as she could tell the only thing running on the Nekori vessel was life support and that had to be running on back up. There was nothing wrong with their comms either. They could talk they just chose not to. Of course the back ups wouldn't last forever and then there would be a lack of air to worry about. Crystal scanned the ship once more the oxygen concentration was the same as it had been earlier.
She checked her data over again. She could see where the hostages were, two big groups (about 30 in each) and one smaller. Now that she had gone over the ship with a fine toothed comb she had also picked up trace biological material from five other races. She knew what that meant but forced herself not to think about it too much.
"Ensign Rose, We're receiving a transmission." the Ensign at Tactical, she still didn't know his name, said.
"Put it on speaker," Crystal replied. Her hand was moving towards her comm badge to notify the Captain when the voice started. She stop moving. This didn't seem right. She listened.
"Return our engineer or face the consequences. We will execute the remaining hostages. Return our engineer or face the consequences..." The message continued.
"Cut the sound and record that message." The ensign nodded.
=/\= Bridge to Captain Tan. Sorry to interrupt sir, but the Nekori have sent us a recorded message. They aren't happy that we have a prisoner. =/\=
Even as she listened to the reply Crystal set the scanners going again. There had to be something else, sending the message now made no sense otherwise.

Nearly an hour into the interrogation, Tiberian and Martinez were making little to no progress. The Nekori lay on the floor, bleeding from a variety of orifices, and still cursing the men quietly. As Martinez circled him, twirling his baton, Tiberian leant on the medical console near the Nekori, cleaning the blood from his own stun baton with a rag that he had found. "What now?" Martinez asked "Something a little more inventive?" "I don't know why" Tiberian replied as he straightened up "We should carry on with this method, it'll work eventually. Pain is the great motivator" Martinez scanned the Nekori with a medical tricorder from a distance. "We've already broken thirty seven of his bones and ruptured two main veins. He can't take much more of this type of punishment" "Do you hear that" Tiberian shouted at the Nekori "You can't take much more of this" He threw a padd at the huddling Nekori, on which was drawn a deck plan of the Nekori vessel, created from the various scans which had been performed. Tiberian walked close to the Nekori and crouched down, looking the Nekori in his red eyes, now spattered with blood and puffy with pain induced tears. "Just show me where the people that you took are, that's all I need. Do that and this can all stop" The Nekori wavered, and Tiberian pressed on "Just point to start with, point where they are. Then tell us about you defenses, and maybe your access codes. Once I've got what I need, then it can all end. We'll get you patched up, let you sleep a little. That'd be nice, wouldn't it?" The Nekori seemed to consider for a moment, but then, in a fit of defiance, spat in Tiberian's face, the blood dipping slowly down his face. Tiberian wiped his cheek and stood up. "We're going to carry on now, and then when you've got a few more broken bones, I'm going to offer you the same thing again. And then you're going to accept it" He nodded to Martinez, and then planted a successive number of sharp kicks in the Nekori's stomach, setting off a fresh bout of screaming. It was at this point that the doors to sickbay opened, admitting Commander Halthor, Commander Smith and Lieutenant Biers. Tiberian looked back angrily as the Andorian overtook him and tended to the Nekori. "Looks to me like you all wanted to make sure i arrived safely and this imposter would not get out of control." Halthor chuckled a little and replied "I was just kidding, anywho lets see what we can get out of this Nekori". Halthor walked towards the Nekori while seeing him lay on the ground screaming, Halthor spoke "i will handle this from here major you just make sure he doesnt escape" As the tactical officer tended to the prisoner, Tiberian looked on in diesbelief. "Did he just..." "Interrupt your interrogation. Yes" Martinez knew how to finish his sentence. Both men grabbed their tunics and belts from the console and stormed from the room. As he turned left, he saw Lieutenant Biers collapsed on the floor, having left the interrogation some minutes earlier. TIberian couldn't imagine what it would be like to be a Betazoid right now, with hundred of conflicting emotions of pain and fear coursing theough him. He kicked Biers gently in the shin to attract his attention. "Mr Biers, you've done enough for now, thanks for your time and effort. You get off duty now, go and have a nap. I'm sure the doctor has something for a dreamless sleep. I'll wake you if things kick off"
<TAG Lieutenant Biers>
Having left the Counsellor in the corridor, Tiberian marched onto the turbolift. Here he entered, though gesturing at Martinez to remain. "You go and get another strike team put together. Rest up after, but I want to know that people are ready to go when we need them" The doors closed, and Tiberian ordered it to the bridge. A moment later he snapped his fingers, remembering somethng. =/\=Wong to Captain Tan. Me and the Sergeant Major have finished now sir, and Commander Halthor has go the Nekori talking in sickbay if you want to ask your own questions=/\= Tiberian emerged onto the bridge, looking around and noticing Ensign Rose to be sat at the science station. "Well Miss Rose, we're not dead, we haven't come under attack, and the Captain hasn't been kidnapped. You're doing better than my first time in charge" He laughed and moved round to the centre seat, listening to the recording. He opened the comms. "All available senior staff to the bridge please. I say again, all available senior staff to the bridge" He looked at the viewscreen to the crippled Nekori vessel, hoping that halthor was making as good progress as it had looked earlier. He was furious with the Andorian for not only walking in on his interrogation, but more inportantly for walking in on his immoral and unsanctioned interrogation. He would have to have a word with him later. "Send to the Nekori vessel, all channels and frequencies, that we are willing to trade their engineer in exchange for our people. After that, we have no further quarrel with them" This was a blatant lie, but at least if their people weren't on board, they could blow the Nekori to hell without having to worry about it. As the message was sent, those available senior staff members arrived. Tiberian stood. "Well gentlemen" he said "I think we need a new game plan"

Halthor looked at the Nekori and asked him where he came from. Listening to the details halthor was focused on getting the nekori back to normal and treating his wounds, because who knows there might be a transmitter in the nekori clothing that could be touched and Garthan could transmit to his fleet out in space that he has been tortured and with that a unsanctioned battle between the United Federation of Planets and the Nekori Peoples would ensue. "Garthan i will need to make sure these wounds are taken care of and have a medical officer in here immediately" Halthor touched his combadge "Lt. Comm. Mallen do you hear me, this is Lt. Commander Halthor the intruder is badly damaged and he needs your medical help can you assist."
<tag Mallen>
"I see i will just get some of your assistants to help out, Lt. Commander Halthor out" Halthor heard her response and then approached one of the sickbay personnel. "Excuse me, but this nekori needs some medical attention, i have laid him on one of the beds where you can then do what you do best." Watching the medical team Halthor assured the nekori would be fine after that was done the Nekori was healing up and looked back at Halthor. "In the Nekori Peoples name we commend you for your assistance and being able to treat one of us with such respect. I will look fondly on the next time we meet, but for now i know you have some questions that must be answered."
Halthor responded "Why yes we do need to ask you some questions but i will leave that up to the Captain, im just glad to have gotten your name and make sure you didnt have the nekori shooting down our backs and starting and all out war." Walking out of sickbay and touching his commbadge "Captain Tan it would be in the best interest that we get Garthan back to his ship, i fear if we dont, then a battle will ensue and a all out war might take place, also i have asked that he get medical attention and have him treated before he gets back to his ship. There is also something i must tell you, as i walked into sickbay i found Major Tiberian Wong treating the intruder as though he were trash, i found it unjust of a UFP Officer and i didnt tolerate it so i wanted to inform you of what had happened."
<Tag Tan>
Halthor then proceeded on his way towards the turbolift to get to the bridge. Walking in he motioned "Bridge" and then it shot its way up.

"NO"
"Sir." said Vander, puzzled, "I've managed to get the Nekori talking .. He's almost offered to give our people back if we were to get him to his ship."
"I appreciate your effort Commander .. I'm also grateful that you have brought Major Wong's methods to my attention." David said, looking at his Tactical Officer, "But there is NO way in hell i'm going to send him back over there !" he finished, pointing defiantly at the Nekori vessel ...
"But I don't unde ......." David held up a hand to silence Halthor.
"Open a channel to that ship."
"Channel open."
=^= Nekori Captain .. We have got your Officer .. I want all our people back now =^=
=^= You will return Garthan =^= It wasn't a question, but a demand.
=^= Your ship is disabled .. There is no escape from here .. Free the hostages and we will allow you to contact your Home-world for assistance .. Otherwise .... =^= Tan said, leaving the option open-ended.
On the screen, the Nekori Captain motioned to someone. A subordinate appeared, dragging a young man with him, one of the hostages obviously .. Casually, the Captain grabbed the man by the neck from behind. The captors eyes bulged in sheer terror at what was happening ...
=^= Send my Officer back .... =^= The Nekori said, then after a few seconds, began to tighten his grip ..
=^= Send him back .... =^= he repeated, squeezing a little more. The man tried to shriek, but the claws were now cutting off all oxygen the his lungs. he was slowly being choked to death before them .. Blood ran down his neck as the claws now broke through the skin .. He didn't have much time left ..
Tan .. Feeling helpless, could only watch the scene playing out .. He couldn't return the Nekori, but couldn't condone what was happening. But before he could act, the man went limp ... The Captain turned the body to face him, looking the lifeless form up and down before looking back at the screen ...
=^= Send my Officer back .. Or this ..... Will happen again and again ! =^= the Nekori said, throwing the lifeless body aside ..
The screen changed back to a view of the ship as the Comm was closed ..
"You 'still' want to send your friend back over there Vander ... Get all the Senior staff in my ready room in five minutes !" Tan finished, getting up and leaving the stunned Bridge crew in silence ..........

Mallen chose not to wait outside of sickbay. She had seen the ways marines extracted information from prisoners, and had no wish to see or hear any of it. Instead she (and the other doctors that had been kicked out of sickbay) went to the mess hall for a much needed drink, a hot coffee for once.
She didn't dare return to sickbay to see how things were going. Some just returned to their rooms, so Kiral dismissed many of the nurses from their shifts. The more experienced doctors were free to go as well, but she asked them to be on call in case she needed them.
She was alone (and on her third cup of coffee) by the time she was contacted-- by the Chief of Security rather than the First Officer, which surprised her. He asked her to return to sickbay to help out their alien captive, so she left her coffee on the table and took the nearest turbolift.
Halthor left her with the Nekori when she arrived. It was badly injured, but Mallen still felt the need to resurrect the restraining field before treating it. It's jaw was shattered, and many bones were broken. The doctor assumed that she was observing Major Wong's work, and a chill ran down her spine. The Nekori must have noticed, because it grinned wickedly, pleased by her discomfort.
She turned around to get the osteogenic stimulator, and he spoke, startling Mallen and causing her to drop several tools.
"It bothers you, doesn't it?" he asked her.
"I don't feel sorry for you," she said sharply, quickly.
"The fact that you have to heal me after everything my people have done. That bothers you." It wasn't a question this time so much as a statement.
"Don't talk to me," she said. The Nekori laughed dryly, and Mallen suddenly realized how completely alone she was in sickbay. She ceased her treatment momentarily and tapped on her combadge.
"Doctors Saris and Casey, report to sickbay. I need some assistance up here." She waited until both doctors affirmed that they were on their way, and then tapped the combadge again. "Doctor Mallen to security. Could you send someone-- or a couple someones-- up here to keep an eye on the Nekori?"
She could tell from his expression that he saw her request for assistance as weakness, but she didn't care. He continued his mocking attempts at conversation, but she ignored him, blocked him out, and continued mending her enemy's broken bones while she waited for others to arrive.

Tiberian listened with shock as the tactical officer seemingly wanted to send the officer back over to the Nekori, trusting entirely in the word of a member of a species which condoned mass slaughter. He was relieved to hear the Captain's unconditional refusal of the proposal, but his relief vanished as the image of the Nekori Captain filled the screen. The execution took place, and the screen went blank, with a poignant absence of remorse or pity. "You 'still' want to send your friend back over there Vander ... Get all the Senior staff in my ready room in five minutes !" Tan finished, getting up and leaving the stunned Bridge crew in silence. "Well you heard the man" Tiberian called out loudly, ending the silence, and sending the bridge crew scuttling. He approached the Andorian tactical officer, grabbing him by the upper arm, and whispering in his ear. "A word to the wise, Mr Halthor. Two actually. First, never, ever, interrupt an interrogation, ever again. Second, never be so naive as to think that the enemy are as nice and civilised as we are. Until they've got their hands behind their heads, or a phaser blast in the chest, they're the enemy, and this is war. Remember that!" He let go of the officer roughly and marched round to the tactical console, looking through the ships manifest. He tapped his commbadge. =/\=Wong to Martinez=/\= =/\=Martinez here sir=/\= The Sergeant Major replied. =/\=Assemble the marines in cargobay one, full kit and weapons=/\= =/\=Which marines sir=/\= Martinez asked, enquiring about the appropriate detatchment. =/\=All of them, the enitre company=/\= Tiberian closed the channel and marched back round to the centre circle, heading for the Captain's ready room. He talked loudly as he moved. "Commander Halthor, co-ordinate with Commander Smith. I want all off duty and non-essential personnel armed to the teeth. I want two ten man tactical teams in the shuttlebay, prepared to launch the shuttles with experienced pilots. The remainder are to be assigned to the transporter rooms and cargobays, anywhere where there is a transporter. Give them basic storm and siege protocol training" He looked back to see the crew staring at him "Sorry" Tiberian continued, his temper rising "But I was under the impression that when the ship's First Officer gave an order, it meant NOW!" The crew sprang into action at Tiberian's angry outburst, and he turned back to the ready room, smiling at his first use of his new title. He entered without being invited and stodd before the Captain's desk, as the Captain himself sat rubbing hsi eyes. The stress of the mission must have been hitting him harder than the others, especially given that the buck stopped with him. "The hostage is dead, not you, so quit acting like your number's up" The words were harsh, but Tiberian new that a man's strength lay in his confidence, and that confidence could do with a kickstart right now. "We aren't finished yet" Tiberian pressed on, leaning on the Captain's desk with his knuckles and looking Tan in the eyes "I've assembled the entire sixty man marine company, as well as roughly forty off duty and non-essential personnel. My recommendation is storm and siege, lay in with all the troops we have and attack the ship in force. We could attack at five different locations at once, secure all key points and search for the hostages at our leisure. This would mean one of two things though. Firstly, the men would have to know that this falls under the umbrella of all necessary measures. I'll do this myself, free of the chain of command so it doesn't come back to you, but it has to be done to ensure that we beat the Nekori, hard and fast. Secondly..." Tiberian sighed "You would have to accept that civilian casualties may, and probably will, happen. We'd try to move as fast as possible, but when it becomes hopeless, the Nekori might just butcher them all. Also it could be out tactics to beat the Nekori that might put some of the hostages at risk. It is my recommendation though that the plan go ahead, with this being put down as one of those necessary evils, sir"

David had literally just sat down when Major Wong walked in .. The headaches were getting to be annoying now, but he'd handle them, like he hoped, he was handling their current situation ..
He sat in silence as Wong lectured him on how to conduct himself during the mission .. Finally, he'd had enough ...
"Sit down Mr Wong."
"But we need to be getti ....." Wong began, only to be interrupted ..
"SIT Down .." David said, standing to emphasize his point .. Wong silently sat in the chair oposite..
"OK ..." David began, "I have no idea what you think the Executive Officer of a Starship does .. But condoning mass murder isn't one of th ......" Tan raised his hand to silence Wong as he tried to interrupt, "You will NOT order civilian members of my crew into a conflict .. You will NOT suggest deny-ability for me or any other member of my crew .. and you will not walk into my ready room without permission .. Do we understand each other ?"
"Sir .. If I may ...." Wong began, but again Tan cut him off ..
"No .. You may not .. Frankly .. How Commander Smith wants to let you operate when he takes back Command is his business .. But while i'm Captain .. You WILL do as you are told !" David said, sitting back down .. Wong was about to speak when Tan started again ..
"Assign someone to lead any away mission we set up .. You will be staying on the Bridge .. Further more .. Following complaints from other staff as to how you have been treating our 'prisoner' i'll be placing a reprimand on your permanent file once we are safe."
"Captain .. I'm in Comman ......." Wong began ..
"YOU .. Are my First Officer .. You will do as you are told .. If you prefer I will relieve you of your position and have you confined to quarters .. Now get out and see to the away-team."
Wong looked at Tan with stone cold eyes .. He almost erupted, before regaining his composure ..
"As you wish .. Sir !" he said through gritted teeth, "If there is nothing more ..." he finished, standing.
"Dismissed !" Tan said ..........

Kiral Mallen continued to work on her alien patient, and the Nekori eventually gave up talking to her. She wasn't sure if she preferred this-- the dead silence may have been just as bad. Combined with the bright red eyes of the Nekori and its evil smirk, it was enough to make her heart beat faster. But she kept working, and it watched every move she made. What was taking her doctors so long to arrive?
As she finished, the computer console controlling the restraining field started beeping a warning. The doctor rushed over, and watched the screen with shock as the field failed completely.
The Nekori pushed itself off of the biobed, and Mallen realized with horror that it was positioned between her and her phaser. Stupid, STUPID Mallen, she thought. As usual when she began to panic, the emotional control that she had learned in the past kicked in. Her heart was racing, and she was completely terrified, but she managed to speak slowly, without emotion. "Your bones are still weak from the treatment. You should get back on the biobed and let me finish."
"My own doctors are perfectly capable of restoring me to health," the Nekori said, picking up Kiral's phaser and adjusting the setting. The Nekori slowly walked towards her. "I need you for a different reason, though."
"Cutting me into pieces and studying my internal organs?" Kiral's hand subconsciously moved to her stomach where her symbiont was.
"I was going to say 'getting me off of this ship,' but I suppose that can come later."
Without another word, Mallen bolted for the sickbay door, but the Nekori was taller and had the advantage of longer legs. Before she was even close, he had caught her, wrapping a strong hand around her neck and squeezing until her struggling turned to nervous shivering. He carefully placed the end of the phaser behind her ear. "This is set to kill, Doctor," he whispered. "Don't try anything else."
"I'm not going to help you."
"Yes, you are. Do you know why?" The Nekori asked. Mallen didn't answer. "Because, if you refuse, I'm going to kill you. And then, I'm going to take this weapon, set to kill, and I'm going to go looking for your shuttlebay. I don't know where it is, so I imagine it will take me some time... Oh, and I'm going to kill everyone that I encounter between here and there. Do you understand?"
Mallen took a moment to absorb everything that she had just been told. "If you reset that phaser to stun, we'll take the Jeffries Tubes."
The Nekori let go of her neck, but kept the phaser (readjusted, as promised) trained on her as she opened up the wall and led the alien inside. She had memorized how to get to several important areas by way of the Jeffries Tubes in case of emergency, and this could be classified as an emergency.
About halfway there, when the Nekori had started to ease up a little, Mallen made the quick movement to tap her combadge. =/\= Captain, the Nekori-- =/\=
She didn't get any further before the alien ripped the combadge off of her uniform and flung it behind them. He grabbed her by the shoulders and shook her. "Do you want to die slowly?"
"This isn't going to work."
"Keep moving."
The rest of the trip passed uneventfully, and before she knew it, Mallen emerged into the shuttlebay. The Nekori scrambled out of the tube and stunned the security personnel standing guard. He darted to the closest shuttle and shoved her inside. "Can't have your friends shooting me down," he explained. He fired up the shuttlecraft, and launched. Mallen sat down and watched the Olympia get farther away, wishing she knew how to fly a shuttle.
"Olympia, this is Garthan Shrivo," the Nekori said, opening a hailing channel to the ship. "Since you failed to return me to my vessel, I have taken matters into my own hands. I have your little spotted doctor here with me, so you might want to reconsider shooting me out of the sky. Nice try, though," he added as an afterthought before he cut communications to Olympia and hailed the Nekori ship.
Mallen just sat there shivering, listening to her captor speaking to his people in a language she didn't understand.

Crystal was still working, there had to be some way to get the hostages back and keep the Olympia safe.
The XO arrived back on the bridge."Well Miss Rose, we're not dead, we haven't come under attack, and the Captain hasn't been kidnapped. You're doing better than my first time in charge" He laughed.t She smiled, it sounded as if there was a very impressive story behind that statement. Whether he would want to tell it was another matter.
The XO sent his message to the Nekori. The Captain and Tactical Officer returned to the bridge. She couldn't help hearing the 'debate' they were having. This she had noted was an advantage and disadvantage of wearing blue, people tended to forget you were there.
The Captain opened the channel to the Nekori vessel, Crystal kept her eyes on her screens. There was nothing on that ship that she wanted to see. She caught a glimpse of the Nekori Captain and his prisoner in the reflective edging of her console, she turned, finding herself unable to pull her eyes from the grim horror on the screen.
The Captain retired to his ready room leaving orders for the senior staff to join him in five minutes. Crystal set a timer for 4mins 30 in case she got caught up in her next set of data taking. The XO followed the Captain off the bridge. She could make out the faintest noise of raised voices. She had heard what the Major had done and was all set to be scared of him, or hate him or something... Then that man had died, Crystal shivered, she didn't know how long it would take to get that image out of her head.... She thought she understood what had happened and why, she couldn't have done it but that was no reason to blame someone else for doing it.
Crystal's timer went off stirring her from her reverie, a quick glance confirmed that the scans were still running. She gestured to one of the crewmen at her side. "I've got scans running. If they beep, notify me." The crewman nodded "Yes, sir"
Crystal went to the ready room, she was just in time to hear the Captain dismissing the XO. Neither looked happy. Crystal swallowed and stood in silence waiting for the others to arrive. This wasn't the best time for the Captain and XO to be at each others throats, although fortunately it wasn't literal.

Daniel looked shocked as the XO told him to get some rest, he wanted to but he needed to know how he gained the images. Walking into his office down the corridor, he wondered what the images contained. Sitting down behind his desk he moved all the Padds onto the floor and layed his head onto the desk, closing his eyes he began to remember what he had seen.
He saw a male child being held down as a Nekori moved over with a blade and began slicing open the child’s body, Daniel held his concentration and continued to sieve though the images. He watched as the person he was moved over to a consol and brings up a display and set off what Daniel thought was a weapon at the Olympia. Daniel snapped up to think of what he thought he had seen, the display had contained a lot of information. Daniel had not scanned the thoughts of the Nekori but yet he had gained these thoughts from him, then a horrifying thought came to him, the Nekori engineer was telepathic.
Jumping up he made his way quickly to the bridge to inform the captain to his findings. =/\= All senior staff to the briefing room in 5 minutes =/\= ~well that will do~ continuing to make his way to the bridge. Walking out of the turbo lift onto the bridge he could not see the captain so he walked into the briefing room. Looking around he saw the captain talking to the XO so Daniel moved to David and began.
“Sir, I have something I would like to report quickly before we start” as David nodded Daniel started “well during the interrogation the Nekori looked at me oddly, well he seems to be telepathic as he threw a lot of images of things he has seen. I am concerned that he may be able to read other crew members and hence returning him may not be wise” Daniel still did not know if he had gained anything useful from the display, he would need to speak to either rose or Bezan and see what they thought before he told the captain.

Tiberian stormed from the office in a ragin temper, moving wordlessly past all the staff on the bridge and into the turbolift. His anger must have been evident on his face, as crewmembers deliberately avoided him on the corridors. He moved swiftly to deck seven, and entered the crew lounge, drawing some nosy looks from around the room. He sat at the bar moodily, and gestured to the bar tender, a middle aged black man with dreadlocks, that he wanted service. "So, what will it be tofay mon brave" the bartender asked cheerfully. "Whisky, Earth variety, double" Tiberian spoke abrubtly and monosyllabically, giving no false impressions that he was talkative. The bartender shrugged and served him his drink, putting it in front of him. Tiberian picked it up and swirled the amber contents, then replacing it on the bar. "Bad time wi' ya woman, o' wi' the Captain" the bartender smiled, Tiberian stared back coldly, cueing him to exit. Martinez, as if from nowhere sat down to his right. "Computer said you were here" he said plainly, staring at the mirrored wall of the bar. "He threatened to relieve me of duty because of my suggestion to storm the Nekori ship" Tiberian muttered, venting a small measure of his pent up fury "And I'm getting a letter of reprimand in my file for torturing that Nekori to get information HE wanted" "New brooms" Martinez replied. "I have a longer serving commission, I've got more combat experience, I'm still technically the senior officer, and I'm sure that there's some regulation that says in times of crisis, the military presence takes command" He finished and stared at his drink. "You going to drink that?" Martinez asked, also looking at the glass. "Still on duty" Tiberian said, remaining unflinching in his strict code of duty to the end "What's your excuse?" "I've nothing better to be doing. All the preparations are made, I'm just waiting for the good word" "Yeah" Tiberian snorted "Well it's not gonna come from me. I have to stay on the bridge and watch. I'll probably assign the marines to Smith and the tac personnel to Halthor. I'm going to send over Mallen and Biers again to help though. Keep them safe for me" "Semper Fi" Martienz took Tiberian glass and raised it in a joking toast. Tiberian tapped his comm badge. =/\=Major Wong to Doctor Mallen=/\= No response.=/\=Wong to Mallen, please respond=/\= Still nothing. "Computer, please locate Doctor Mallen" Tiberian asked, curious. "Doctor Mallen is not onboard" Tiberian's blood ran cold. "What was her last location, who was she with/" He hads stood up and drawn his phaser, Martinez doing the same, and had begun to walk towards the exit. "Doctor Mallen was last seen in the lower shuttlebay, with Nekori Garthan Shrivo" Tiberian was now in a full run, heading through deck seven to the lower shuttlebay. =/\=Wong to marine teams alpha and beta, meet me in the lower shuttlebay=/\= He arrived just to see the shuttle departing, two security personnel lying stunned on the ground. The shuttle sped up and passed away from the Olympia. Less than a minute later twenty marines in full kit ran in, looking around at the missing shuttle. Tiberian ran to the Delta Flyer class shuttle still in the bay and opened it up, activating the generator and doing a flight check as the marines clambered on board and closed up. =/\=Wong to the bridge. Our Nekori fried has been patched up it seems, and as a reward to Doctor Mallen, he's taken her over to view his medical facilities. I've got twenty mariens here in another shuttle and we're going after her. I'll need the rest of the marine and tactical force to be transported over to the ship once we dock=/\= =/\=Major Wong=/\= Tan's angry voice could now be heard over the intercom =/\=Don't you dare launch that shut...=/\= Tiberian cut across him. =/\=With all due respect, SIR, will you please belt up=/\= Martienz banged his head on the wall as Tiberian figuratively shot himself in the foot. =/\=At this point sir, I don't care if you burn my commision, throw me in the brig, or see to it that I get extradited to the Klingon Empire and sent to Rurapenthe. All I care about is getting the doctor and the other hostages back, right now. So, under General Order 24, I'm going to do that to whatever extent I see necessary, and hang both myself and the consequences if needs be=/\= He exhaled and continued =/\=Mr Halthor and Mr Smith, would you please lead the other assualt teams at your convenience. I'm going to try and intercept the shuttle before landing on the Nekori vessel=/\= =/\=This is insurbordination Major=/\= Tan shouted =/\=I order...=/\= =/\=Might I recommend what to do with your orders, SIR=/\= Tiberian finished his statment =/\=Wong out=/\= The shuttle rose and then sped from the shuttlebay at full speed in pursuit of the shuttle. "You're dead" Martinez said, grabbing himself and Tiberian phaser rifles. "At least those hostages won't be" Tiberian replied, manouvering the Delta Flyer class within weapons rang of the shuttle. He fired two phaser bursts, making the shuttle vear away from the Nekori ship. "Prepare to activate the docking clamps. I'll try and get us into position" Tiberian called out, his fighter pilot training coming in handy as he dodged a variety of phaser beams and tachyon pulses, edging ever closer to the shuttle. Suddenly the shuttle faltered. Mallen must have been fighting her captor.
<TAG Doctor Mallen to do something heroic>
The Flyer easily gained on the shuttle now, and soon engaged her dorsal docking clams with the ventral side of the still rocking vessel. Tiberian led two other marines down the connecting hatch and into the shuttle, where the doctor and Nekori were engaged in a fearsome struggle. One of the marines rushed forwards and jammed his stun baton into the Nekori's side, sending him convulsing to the floor. They then assissted the doctor back up into the Flyer. As Tiberian turned around to secure the shuttle, he saw that the Nekori had crawled to the console, Tiberian drew his phaser to stun the man, but it was too late. As the beam hit him, the Nekori just managed to activate the impulse control and portside thrusters, sending both conjoined shuttlecraft to the right, straight towards the Nekori vessel. Climbing back into the Flyer and sealing it off, Tiberian shouted. "Can we disable the docking system" "No" a marine replied "Jettisoning the shuttle at this velocity would make them crash into us" "We'd better do something quick" Martinez yelled as they sped towards the Nekori's side. "Prepare to blow out the entire docking system" Tiberian ordered, moving to the front seat "And stand by full forward impulse on my mark. Three, two, one, mark!" The shuttlecraft separated, and the Flyer lurched forwards, but not before they smashed the shuttle with their port nacelle. The Flyer hurtled sideways, the crew being flund about as the pilots tried to maintain level. They regained equilibrium, seconds before the full gaping side of the Nekori warship came into view. "Brace for impact!" Tiberian shouted, as the mammoth engulfed the small shuttle in it's side. The crashed through thirty or forty metres of decking, the outer hull of the Flyer being ripped to shreds. Friction eventually slowed them down, and in a trial of sparks, the Flyer came to a halt. "Everyone alright" Tiberian called form the floor that he had been flung to. He stood, dazed and needing the wall for support, but in one piece. The sound of retching could be heard at the back of the shuttle, but a rumbling of chatter and assent indicated everyone's survival. Activating the emergency shuttle transponder, Tiberian levied his rifle and addressed his beleagured men. "Alright lads, let's do some good" He led them out of the shuttle.

Crystal stayed silent and leaned against a wall. The senior staff meeting had never really happened. Dr Mallen's aborted communication had come through closely followed by the rather chilling message from her captor; then there was that small yelling match that the Captain had had with the XO. Crystal's ears were still ringing. It had left her and the Counselor dumbstruck and more or less ignored.
Crystal glanced at the Captain but didn't say anything. He told the pair of them to leave. Crystal headed back to the bridge. Lt Biers didn't follow her immediately.

Crystal was back at her station when the Counselor approached, he seemed very ill at ease.
"When I saw the Nekori in sickbay he threw a lot of images into my head. There's one or two that I think might have useful information for you about their capabilities." Crystal swallowed hard, no wonder the Counselor didn't look on top form. Part of her wanted to go into shock, but she was on duty and was still looking for any way possible to defend the Olympia. She took a deep breath, figuring that he wouldn't have mentioned it if he didn't want to do something with it.
"Do you want to come down to the Lab and draw me some pictures and then we'll see what we've got." He nodded, she grabbed her PADD with her list of currently unanswered questions on it and the two of them took the turbo lift down the Labs. Crystal settled the Lieutenant at one of the terminals in an axillary lab guessing that'd he'd probably want some quiet.
As monitored her scans and experiments Crystal watched him transcribe whatever had been pushed into his head, a nasty thought struck her.
"Um, Sir. If the Nekori pushed images into your head that means he's probably telepathic doesn't it. " He nodded "I don't know much about telepathy but is it possible he messed with anyone else's head while they were with him?"
<TAG Lieutenant Biers>
That really wasn't good Crystal thought. The Counselor continued his illustration but the silence was uneasy and very heavy. 'have to lighten the mood' she thought. 'I know this is bad but nothing's gonna get done if we lose it' She glanced round the empty room.
"Um, Sir. That is Daniel. Feel free to call me Crystal or better yet CJ, my parents always hated that one." Crystal was aware that she was babbling but felt it was needed. "Um, I'm gonna get a coffee, can I get you anything?" he looked up and gave a half smile that Crystal couldn't read.
