I love the pictures Captain! I got a bit confused at first though, is this what Nack looks like? ;D Seth, I am intrigued by your character. There should be someone like Seth Helacaan in Starfleet yet I've never seen one before. I think Lucy should notice Seth's attitude somehow.Ok, I'll have him run into you somewhere and you can do what you want there perhaps? I'm glad at your interest in his character. I'm trying to make his personality as interesting as possible, although recently I've been needing new inspirations which have lacked slightly, but I think it's picking back up now which is OK.

I think there may be a bit of confusion with my post on 25th April, i.e. today (yesterday, my local time).
Commander Trek, what I meant with the warp trail changing position is that it simply doubled back very sharply in almost the opposite direction. I didn't intend to suggest that it jumped somehow.
As a consequence of still going forward we have gone away from the warp trail. And also, my estimate IC of half a parsec (approx. 1.6 light years) in about ten seconds was probably a bit too fast!

My apologies. I had indeed misinterpreted the intent of your post. I'll correct it later this evening when I have time.

I think there has been a few posts lately that are contradicting what was already posted. Just so we are on the same page, here is what I have currently:
We are about to converge on the ship that is leaving the ion trail.
We left Commander Waterson quite awhile ago, she left when we started chasing the ion-trail ship. If we are 'watching her', it's on long range sensors.
Nack, in the meantime, has relented to getting counseling.

Don't worry Captain, I read your posts! ;D Lucy, just in case you want to respond to my tag once you've sorted your new house out, I will leave my post ambiguous to the outcome of that exchange. You can write your reply as a back-post to me if you like.

Hey, all! The offer was accepted and we will be at the home inspection next Wednesday. The closing will take place in another couple of weeks. I should be available next week after Tuesday. At the campground here, we don't have wifi so all we have is my wireless and are passing it back and forth. Tuesday we move to a campsite with wifi, cable tv and all the goodies until those people get out of our house. ;D For your viewing pleasure: ** Link removed until further notice. There's no pic of the front of the house for some reason. But the front is landscaped with a care-free rock lawn. All the furniture we have is a bedroom set that is in storage in Denver. So, we are searching for furniture as well as washer/dryer. The house is in excellent shape. We won't have to do a thing to it other than make it our own. I'm soooo happy! Seth, I'll do a backsim as soon as I can. ** I removed the link since it contained your address, and I didn't know if that was your intent. Probably not a smart thing to do on a bulletin board. Just let me know, and I can add it back in if you were aware of that fact. -- Captain Nack

Beautiful home! Being an owner is going to be exciting. I don't think I was ever so excited to mow a lawn as the first time I mowed my lawn. It got old pretty quick, though - but having a house of your own definitely won't get old . Congrats again.
See my edit comments in your post above. I didn't know if you purposefully wanted your address to be shown or not, so I figured I'd err on the side of safety.

Quite alright, captain. I did know that the address was there but didn't pay it no mind. Should have thought of that and in the back of my mind the idea was there. Thanks for saving me from myself.

Oh boy, here we go again... someone get the hose for Lucy - she's going boy crazy again!
I'm going to go ahead and continue the story on Sunday-- if I fast-forward past anyone, I apologize. Trying to wrap this story up in the next week or so.

Go for it, Ensign. I don't mind.
For future reference, any and all discussions of the mission, or of any other ship matter, should take place on this thread.

Aye, the NPC thread is generally kept 'clean' so it is an easy reference. All questions, observations, etc.. are usually placed here.
Don't worry about it... As Section Admiral Nova called me yesterday, "picky picky picky"

Captain, not sure just what kind of heart problem Lucy should be finding. IF there is a problem, it should be something that doesn't keep the captain from his duties.

If you are looking for a heart problem that would not keep someone from their duties try Wolfe Parkinson White Syndrome. This makes the heart beat way to fast in attacks, people often feel as they are having a heart attack, it attacks sparingly but the longer you live with it the more likley you will need surgery becuase the attacks get more frequent. it cuases sweating light headidness and sometimes fainting spells. the heart beats up to 250 beats per minute when the norm is about 80 today it is treated with medication and eventually a pacemaker but in the 24th century you can use your imagination

This mission will be completed by Monday 26-May (Memorial Day for us U.S. folks.) Start thinking about things you want included in this chapter of the story. As usual, we will then transition into a shore leave... The story never ends on the USS Nevada!
For those who were not around for the previous shore leave, they are generally a time where the posting requirements are not enforced, although LOAs are still appreciated. That is to say, it's a good time to take a break, character build, and/or catch up on your other characters since there isn't necessarily a planned plot line.
This shore leave is going to directly tie into the next mission, so I advise everyone to at least keep up on the reading. In case that isn't possible, there will the usual briefing before the next mission starts.
Positive comments and constructive criticism of the current mission are encouraged. Please write them here, write them to the yahoogroups, or PM them to me. I want to know if there is anything I can do to make your assignment on the Nevada more enjoyable.

Quite understandable, Tiffani. Just let us know next time you're too busy to post . Glad to hear the semester went okay for you. (Still waiting on grades myself) Let Captain Nack or myself know if you need any help jumping back in.

I have locked the mission for archiving. I feel we are at a good chapter-close. I'll leave it up for a week or two for reference. Feel free to continue the story in the shore leave thread.
We still have to get Waterson back, and see what happens to her in her hearing.
Next mission starts June-15. Thank you everyone for making this last mission completely enjoyable!

Image my surprise when I wrote up a perfectly wonderful post only to be told that the thread has been locked and an error had occurred (not in that order).
Well, I simply went to the shore leave thread and posted there. So you all can't get away from me no matter how hard you try! ;D
Best news: I have moved into my new home. We have bought new furniture but it's not delivered yet -except for the bed. Got tired of sleeping on the floor.
Good news: I don't need to get out and get a job. I'm working from home. A vacation with an additional week's moving allowance. Next Monday I start working again. This week they're setting me up with the company network.
*sigh* It was great not working.

Due to the site issues this past weekend, I am a little behind on updating the mission stats. Please excuse the delay while I catch up on board activity.
