Jon was sitting sickbay next to his mother's bed, Commander Jane park was hit when she took a fighter and tried to help divert the orian ships.
Jon knew he had to meet with his Commanding officer and as if he was right there in Jon's mind, his combadge chirped. =/\=" Mr. Park when everybody is cleared from sick bay I expect to see you and Mr. Seth in my ready room for a mission debrief. Also you are going to have to schedule a debrief of Mr. Park as well when he's able. Good work Mr. Park I hope and pray you get the answers you are looking for"
Jon tapped him com badge =/\= Understood Sir, My mother is no longer in any danger so i will be up shortly. As for my father he has not shown any signs he knows he is a Star fleet Commander and with out a doctor or counselor i am not sure what we are going to do i just hope before we get back to starbase we can get something."
Jon moved from his mothers bed and then he steeped out and ran into his father. "Hello..." Jon wasn't sure what else to say. "I know that there is something more to me then just a transport officer." Jon was looking at him thinking in his mind ~should i tell him~. "Well your my Father thats one, Your wife is in sickbay she will be fine but will need a few days to recover." Jon figured he would go for broke. "And your a Starfleet Lt.Commander."
Jon waited and looked for any signs he was going to snap, He saw none. the man who once was his father just made on request. "I would like to see my service record but after i see my wife and speck to your Commanding officer." Jon motioned for the man to follow him into sickbay. He watched as his father walked over to the Bio-bed where his wife and Jon's mother was. Jon moved out of ear shot. =/\= Park to Runningwolf, Sir my father remembers everything and i have a odd feeling he was working a Black Ops mission. All he asked was to see his wife then his service record, and of course think you may have to call in a favor to find out."

After Seth had cleaned up, including shaving off all of his built up stubble and having a long sonic shower, he headed to the mess hall for some food. He was off duty for the next seven hours and intended to make the best use of it possible. That meant filling his stomach and relaxing for the first time in two or three weeks.
He couldn't remember the last time he'd had a concerted length of time away from the bridge or other important duties. He supposed it went all the way back to the end of the rescue assignment, when they had recovered the USS Bartlet from Magnus Prime. The Wezean had wandered the starbase for a while, and that had been relaxing, but before they knew it they were on another hunt and rescue at the whim of Admiral Magellan Lin, and that mission had led virtually straight into this one.
Earth had been an experience, Seth admitted. He had never envisaged travelling there while serving as a crewmember of the Nevada, which in retrospect seemed like a ridiculous assumption to make.. but there it was.
To the COO's surprise and slight disgruntlement, Crewman Bovois was present in the mess hall, along with... Nayunski, Seth thought her name was. It was a slight embarrassment not to know the names of all the members of his staff, but then, he did spend a large proportion of his time on the bridge.
"Crewmen," he nodded, moving to join them, and pulling out the third seat at the table without asking if it was occupied. The crewmen moved to stand but Seth waved them down again. He got himself comfortable and then got the instinct to look around on the tabletop.
"Looking for something?" Bovois asked amusedly.
"No," Seth replied. "Well, just looking for a menu. This place reminds me of an establishment back home. Counterfeit credits were rife, they didn't hesitate to charge for their food. Hence they had some culinary menus."
"You don't come in here very often, don't you?"
"No," Seth repeated, "I don't. I suppose I'll have to order from the replicator."
Bovois flashed Nayunski another look of amusement, both of them chuckled a little at their Chief's odd mood.
Eventually the call for Seth to make his way to the ready room filtered through. Sighing, Seth dropped his half-finished Wezean coffee. "It's a bad approximation anyway," he told Bovois and Nayunski offhand, "Try it if you like."
Minutes later he was chiming on the Colonel's ready room door. Accepted in quickly he noticed that Park was already present. Seth nodded to both the first officer and the Colonel sitting at his desk, then held up a PADD. "My mission report," he explained, handing it over the desk to Colonel Runningwolf.

Looking at both the officers standing in front of him, he held them in high reguard for the short time he had known the. It was odd thinking of them as his officers but he was still getting use to the changes that came with commanding a star ship. Not many Marines rose to the rank of commanding a ship only a handful that he was aware of.
" Well I'm glad to have you both back in roughly the same shape you left. First out standing job no injuries which is not a easy task."
Picking up the Data Pad Mr. Seth had hand to him. He was starting to get the feeling there was more to him then he let on. He would have to work on getting to know him a little better when time permitted. " Mr. Seth I will read your report but I want to her an answer to to of my questions from you. First did you figure out the energy spike? and last what does Mr. Seth do to relax you can answer them in any order but before your dismissed you will answer them"<Tag Seth>
" Mr. Park I'm glad that your family is back together but I hope you keep in mind that it will take some time. You and your mother as well as your father will have some healing to do. As for your private request I have already placed a call. Somebody will meet us at star base to help your father and make sure he's debriefed" He smiled hoping Mr. Park would know what he meant he called in a huge favor to make sure his father would be taken care of with out reprecussions.
" Also Mr. Park I will read your report but you to have two questions to answer first what was your impression of the base. Last what is it you do to relax both questions need to be answered before you leave"
While he waited " As for this mission I hope that the next one is not as strained as this, I still have a crew to get to know and a ship to get a feel for. As for what I do for fun I like to hike its quite relaxing with no technology just going where the trail leads"

Jon nodded "Thank you sir." He decided with Seth with them he would leave it at that. "As for your other questions, After a bit of sleep i plan to use holodeck 4 and run a program. Then visit my mother in sickbay until my next shift." Jon had a feeling that Runningwolf was going to relive him for a while but waited to see what he had to say.
<Tag Runningwolf>
Jon nodded and he said " If there is nothing else then i will send you my full mission report with a few things, One i would like to place a member of the securty team on report. Ensign D'north was not with us for much of the away mission i am glad we had Lt.Nos with us. Two i would like to have Lt.commander Salfer and Draco have letters of condut becoming of an officer for duty above and beyond, And third Lieutenant Karmelo Seth Helacaan also place a letter in his file from me for service to the Park Family for helping them resolve a long standing issue.

" Mr. Seth I will read your report but I want to her an answer to to of my questions from you. First did you figure out the energy spike? and last what does Mr. Seth do to relax you can answer them in any order but before your dismissed you will answer them
Ah, the energy spike, Seth thought. He had nearly forgotten about it, which was surprising and worrying considering the level of importance it held. It had been forced out of his mind, along with many other things, when the transporter beam had grabbed him from the surface of the Orion planet. It was in the report, of course.
"Well, sir, the spike seemed to originate from one of the large buildings down there, according to the information in the computer banks I managed to access. The report on the PADD goes into fine technical detail, but on the face of it, all I know is that every time our transporters activated, there was an irregular spike of energy on the surface, like it was reacting in some way to our transportation signal. Perhaps a resistant force against the transporter, but I can't conclude it as that in any way. I'll keep looking over the transporter logs, sir."
There was a pause during which no one spoke, with only a nod from Wolf, and slowly Seth realised with the smallest of shocks that he hadn't answered the Colonel's other question. His personal life was something little delved into by anybody.
Before he could answer though, the Colonel and the first officer had already gone on speaking. Seth's mind was left in somewhat of a blur of shocked feelings for the time being, as if his brain was a chamber full of stored paint, and someone had shaken the chamber up and spread the paint in great flicks on its interior. He thought of what he could say to Wolf as to allow him to escape the ready room, but he was shaken out of his personal reverie by the mention of his full name...
"And third Lieutenant Karmelo Seth Helacaan also place a letter in his file from me for service to the Park Family for helping them resolve a long standing issue."
Seth turned slowly to Park, taking in the first officer and knowing he'd heard him right. "Sir.. Thank you." He knew it was a fairly rare thing for a lower-rank officer to be noted for resolving such an issue, but it did make sense. He shook Jon's hand quickly but very gratefully, thinking that he was gaining a reputation for resolving family issues, whether they were his own or otherwise. <tag Park>
" As for this mission I hope that the next one is not as strained as this, I still have a crew to get to know and a ship to get a feel for. As for what I do for fun I like to hike its quite relaxing with no technology just going where the trail leads"
Seth turned back to the Colonel, dropping his hand to his side, and cracking an amused leer. It was a little out of the blue for his CO to be saying that, sitting at his desk. The Colonel had always seemed slightly detached from everyone, even though Seth had already recognised him to be a generally pleasant fellow. Now he seemed to really want to get to know the crew on a personal level.. And his comment gave Seth an excellent lead on something he could say.
"Ah, well Colonel, if we're on to the subject of outdoor pursuits, I like to go caving and rock climbing. I haven't been in a while actually, perhaps only once on the holodeck since being assigned here. It was a good simulation," Seth was on somewhat of a roll, "For walking at least. I had to walk five miles to get to the climbing spot."

The door closed with a sigh. Dr. Grey let out her own sigh of relief. She'd been plucked off of the USS Nevada and straight into the arms of Starfleet Intellegence. Urgent business, they'd said. Now that the ordeal was over, Lucy could honestly say she never wanted to work with SFI again.
The transporter hummed into action putting the doctor on the USS Nevada without fanfare. She wondered if her captain had been notified then decided that SFI didn't normally tell anyone anything about nothing. Taking a deep breath, she clutched the data padd tightly and aimed herself for the bridge and the captain's ready room.
Fifteen minutes later, Dr. Lucy Grey pressed the chime and heard Colonel Runningwolf's voice bid her to enter. As the door shooshed open, Lucy allowed a smile to cross her face. "Hello, everyone." Walking foreward, Lucy handed the padd to Runningwolf and said, "I hope this will explain my absence. Trust me, I'm really looking forward to getting back to work."

He smiled when he saw Doctor Grey enter is ready room it was nice to have almos all his senior Staff present. " Ah Doctor Grey I'm glad to see the SFI didn't try to keep you. I would have played hell on them if they had. Sorry I wasn't able to prevent them from borrowing you but they seem to keep to there own agenda and rules. Something I can relate to I will not ask the nature of your mission I"m sure it was.... enlighting as they always seem to be"
" Now lets back back to things at hand"
" Mr. Park you will report to holodeck 4 and run your program for no less then 4hrs sometime tomorrow thats order. I want my officers to relax and escape there duties at least for a short time. You are relieved of your duties for the next 48hrs to spend time with your family and to make time for you self" he saw that his first officer was going to object" Mr. Park it was not a request I believe my officers need breaks and after this mission you are in need of one. The ship will be fine with out for 2 days, I will also check the hololog to make sure you took time for your self" <Tag Park>
He turned and looked at Seth who he was still trying to get a read on but something was amiss " Mr. Seth you are also relieved of all duties for the next 48hrs my orders are as follows you are to make time for your self and doing something relaxing. I will schedule a hollow deck for you with a little more to offer for cave climbing. I will check the logs to make sure you were there as well."<Tag Seth>
" I repeat to both of you unless I summon you to the bridge you are banned from duty for the next 48hrs. You are to relax unwind if you chooose to do something else other then the holodeck then I want a report on what you did to relax. I believe that a well rested officer is always on his game."
Finally he turned to Doctor Grey and smiled, he felt comfortable around her she had a soothing effect on him. Although he would never admit it to her or anybody else he wasn't attartced to her in a romatic way just that she seem to bealbe to calm him.
" Doctor grey I promise to make time for you to relax when Mr. Park and Mr. Seth return to duty. Until then you are act first officer for the next 48hrs we also have a new crewman on board Mr. Dunowin our chief engineer he hasn't had time to check in so you might want to get to know him. As for the Acting first officer I believe in making sure every officer knows the bridge to a degree. Since we are just heading back to star base it should be quite. You will not have the paper work I'll take care of that. I just want you to have a shift or two on the bridge in the center seat."
" Why we ae at it I want to be the first to say congrats to Mr. Park when you return from your R&R in 48hrs you will no longer be acting first officer the position is permant. Your orders have been confirmed Number 1. I will hold a little get together at 1800 hrs for everybody to celebrate Mr.Park new position in holodeck 4 please bring who ever you want. Just alittle get to know you and you to get to know me. It is not formal so please come dressed as you please and most importanly relax" <Tag All>

The Colonel had dismissed Dunowin from the bridge and he had went to his quarters to shower and to change into a fresh uniform and unpack his gear that the transporteer chief had been so nice to have delivered. He knew the Nevada was on a rescue mission when he departed tio meet them but he really hadn't expected to be thrown into action upon arrival. He was really nervous and was glad that he didn't screw anything up. /he suddenly perked up at the thought of his engineering department. He could hardly wait to get down there and start working. But first, he decided that a proper report in was due. He quickly checked his uniform and when he was satisfied that all was right, he left for the Colonels ready room.
"Bridge." he said as he entered the lift.
A few seconds later, he was departing the lift and turned toward the ready room. The arrival chime sounded as soon as he reached the doors.

Jon looked at his commanding officer but didn't argue he was right he needed time with his mother and father, "Aye sir, Doctor Grey i will see you in 2 days for a status report."
<Tag Grey>
Jon turned and walked out heading to his office first to get a few things. "Computer open personal file, access personal file for Lt.Commander Grey Lucy." The compuer replied ."File open." Jon was thinking, then changed his mind. "Computer Access file Commander first class Jon Park." the computer replied again. "File open." Jon knew what he was going to say this time. "Restrict access to all files for 48 hours unless ship goes to red alert, aturosation Park Alpha 2." The computer replied "Command code accepted, all access to command file will be restricted in 1 hour."
Jon turned and headed out looking for Doctor Grey, The ships "New" first officer, Jon didn't see her so he headed to the turbolift and ordered. "Sickbay." The lift went down until the doors opened and he was not on the deck that held sickbay. "Odd. Computer Sickbay." The computer beeped "The turbolift is currently on deck 7." Jon tapped his combadge. "Park to enginnering, Ensign Dunowin i have a malfuction in turbo shaft one i am on deck 4 but i am trying to get to deck 7. The computer says i am on deck 7."

Lucy's mouth almost dropped open in surprise when the Colonel placed her in the Center Chair for the following 48 hours. Just until Cmdr. Park returned, of course, but still.... Then the chime was sounding and a new face was looking at her. Nodding, she said firmly, "Ensign, I'm Dr. Grey. Good to have you on board. I take it you've had your physical?" Her eyebrows lifted in question as she waited for his reply.
<Tag: Dunowin>
While the doctor listened to the chief of engineering respond, she mentally started scheduling everyone for their post-mission checkups.
"Don't forget to pick up your dental kit, Ensign Dunowin. Everyone gets one. Take two or three if you feel you can use them."
Nodding to her teammates, Lucy sidled around Dunowin just as Cmdr. Park let her know he expected a status report in 48 hours. She let out a heavy sigh and nodded her agreement then made her way to the main bridge and that Center Chair.
Lucy's rear had just made contact with the softness of command when she caught the call from the First Officer, now on R&R by order of the commanding officer. Her eyes remained fixed on the viewscreen as Park spoke with Dunowin, her ears aimed at the internal speakers.
"Ensign Dorvin, are you tracking this?" the acting First Officer asked softly.
<Tag: Dorvin> (OOC: Seth, I'm assuming you're posting for all of OPS)
"Stay on it." Lucy's head turned only slightly as she pressed the communications button at her fingertips and spoke quietly, "Dunowin, keep me apprised of your findings. Cmdr. Grey out."

He over heard Doctor Grey conversation when he exited his office. It was strange but nothing to be overly concerned about besides he had to let her handle it her self. He was hoping the chance to command would give her some experince in the futur and he would listen to her idea's of change. While being in command she could see the strain the crew was under and possible recommend changes in order to relieve that strain.
" You have the bridge Doctor I shall be on the mess deck she's all your's try not to double park or scratch the paint. Just a little humor Doc relax your bridge training training will come back quicker then you realize, after words we'll talk about making Mr Park pull a couple of shifts down is sick bay with you so he can get a taste of what you have to deal with" <Tag Grey>

Lucy Grey's arrival was certainly a welcome surprise, especially in a place like this, the Colonel's ready room. He smiled along with Park, while the Colonel himself vocally welcomed her back into the fold. A mission for Starfleet Intelligence sounded ominous, Seth was glad nothing bad had happened to the medical officer.
" Mr. Seth you are also relieved of all duties for the next 48hrs my orders are as follows you are to make time for your self and doing something relaxing. I will schedule a hollow deck for you with a little more to offer for cave climbing. I will check the logs to make sure you were there as well."
Something about the Colonel's look at him suggested he was eyeing his COO carefully, looking for something in him.. a reaction? Seth didn't know, but as he wasn't going to figure it out - except perhaps by asking - then there was no point in trying.
"Aye sir, I'll certainly be there." He realised he really meant the words. The Wezean was actually surprised of himself that he hadn't been to the Nevada's holodecks more often. They had seen rare usage, if any, the last time he had used one was admittedly on the last mission, but that was to run a simulation which was part of his work.
Seth exited the ready room once he was dismissed. He gave his congratulations to Commander Park on his XO-ship, then headed for the turbolift. As the doors shut and the last glimpses of the bridge were seen through that ever-closing gap, Seth was hit with the realisation that he was effectively locked out of the bridge for the next forty-eight hours. Barring an emergency of course.
The lift stopped unexpectedly on deck three. Seth didn't move. It was fairly obvious that a person was entering the lift. The door slid open and in stepped a crewman. Seth was instantly sweating... This wasn't any normal crewman.
"You!" the crewman barked at him.
It was him, Seth thought, the crewman from ship supplies that he had attempted to throttle. Helacaan didn't say anything, merely stood in the corner of the turbolift. He did look the crewman in the eyes though. The man was expecting a response, but he wasn't going to get any right now.
Perhaps it'll be forced from me... he mused as the crewman in a sudden movement, pushed him up against the wall. The turbolift doors had closed.
"I'll have you know I told the tactical chief about your attack," he hissed in-close at Seth as he gripped the COO's collar roughly.
"The tactical chief?"
"Yes! Ensign Borgas. Unfortunately he had to leave, but he made it clear to me that he would tell Starfleet about your attempted murder."
"I would hardly call it that," Seth eyes' flamed, he may have been in the wrong, in fact he knew it, but that would not stop him from engaging in a war of words.
"Say what you want," the man said. "Either way your career is over, Lieutenant."
The turbolift stopped and the doors opened again. The man got out on the deck which happened to be deck 7. "We'll see," Seth said to him, and had just enough time to see the man look back before the doors shut again completely. The COO shrugged in spite of himself, and took the turbolift the few extra levels down to the holodecks...
Brian Dorvin ran his scans as quickly and proficiently as possible, which was difficult when he was considered by many to be somewhat of a funny, bumbling man who had a reputation for slowness. "Ensign Dorvin, are you tracking this?" The Doctor, whom'd been put in charge for a while, inquired.
"Uh, bear with me a second, Commander." He cursed himself silently and found the appropriate set of analytic internal sensors. "Aye, sir, there is some problem with the turbolifts in that section. Seems one of the lifts was halted for a while between here and deck 7. A computer error occurred and now the system's confused about the Park turbolift's location. But I'm not sure why it should malfunction. Hopefully Chief Dunowin can enlighten us there."

After meeting Commander Grey and informing her that he had just arrived and had not yet had time for his physical, he was immediately ordered to report to sickbay. He was almost there when he got the call on the malfunctioning turbo lift.
"I'm on it." he replied as he silently cheered for getting out of the physical.
He quickly made his way to Engineering and when he entered, he made his way to the first available console and began running a diagnostic on the system.
"May I help you with something, sir?" a crewman asked when he walked up beside Dunowin.
"Ensign Dunowin, Chief Engineer." he told the young man. "I'm running a full diagnostic on the lift system. We had a malfunction with one between the bridge and deck 7 a few moments ago and I want to know why. I've shut down power to the lift in question. I want you to grab another man and get down that shaft and see if there is anything physically wrong with that lift."
"Aye, sir." the man replied as he moved off.
=^=Dunowin to bridge. We're running diagnostics and scans now and I have people in the shaft as well. We should have an answer shortly=^=

Seth had by no means abandoned the idea of going to the holodeck. In fact, he fully meant to go through with it, the opportunity to climb some of the more imposing rock-faces around was not one to be missed. And of course, there was the small issue that if he didn't go to the holodeck, the wrath of the Colonel may well be incurred.
Stepping up the rocky, uneven terrain, Seth eventually came out on to a plateau, overlooking the site of the climb. He sighed in happiness. The Colonel had been true to his word, the holodecks had been expanded to include some weird and wonderful new locations. This was an unfamiliar climb to Seth and, he suspected, that it didn't actually exist. He also saw that there wasn't much of a walk to the climb.
Fortunate in a way, he thought, as he started to traverse the short distance to the lowest rocks, he had considered inviting the Colonel along if there had been a walk, the man had professed to like hiking. It might've been an opportunity to get to know the man better.
Solitude was the way of it though, Seth mused grimly. He lifted his arm and gripped at an outjutting of rock, the first step on the steep part of the climb. Slowly he made his way up the first few tens of feet. He was rusty, he realised, but knew that the climb wasn't one of the hardest, and it seemed that the hand holds were conveniently placed to allow the face to traversed with ease.
Seth used no harness; not because he considered himself to be a proficient enough climber, but because he knew the holodeck safeties would intervene should he fall. That is, he assumed they would.
Paranoid delusions and runaway theories briefly dominated his head. Images of that supplies crewman deactivating the safeties, knowing Seth was inside, gripped him, and all the worry and uncertainty wormed their way back in to his mind, the thoughts of which, he had so far successfully banished for this climb.
He paused, securing himself in a small inset of the rock while gripping on to a horn above him. "Computer, confirm holodeck safeties are at one hundred percent."
~Confirmed, holodeck safeties measures are at one hundred percent.~
The female voice of the computer helped. Its neutral expressionless voice providing an objective viewpoint, removed from prejudice and irrational worries. Seth realised how ridiculous his paranoia was, it served no purpose right now. Again he banished the thoughts and continued the climb.
He stopped halfway up, being almost completely exhausted. He grinned at his sillyness and wiped his brow as he stepped from the rock face. Instantly as he planted his foot in mid-air a transparent barrier, like perspex, materialised beneath his boot. He stood on it and looked up the rest of the way, making plans in his head to return here the next day. Forty-eight hours off meant ample free time. And there was something else to get to at the top of that rock face; besides the satisfaction of achieving the goal there was also a great cave... hollowed out in the cliffside, and deeper than the height of the cliff itself.
[OOC: I'm assuming this next part takes place once Park's turbolift troubles are sorted.]
Seth stepped out of the holodeck and those paranoid fears came back to him slightly. It wouldn't do.. he'd have to take action like he'd promised himself he would do eventually. "Computer, locate the first officer."
~Commander First class Jon Park is in holodeck four.~
Seth harrumphed and stepped to the next door over in the corridor. It opened, which meant it was ok to enter. Park was running a simulation. He walked in but could not see the first officer immediately.
Now the first officer was responsible for issues among the crew, and if they were of greater scope than those which the first officer was able to fix, then they were elevated to the Colonel. But Park was the 'first port of call' (there weren't many seas on Seth's home planet, but the old phrase from Earth hadn't been lost). While it wouldn't make much difference if he was available or not, Seth hoped that he could find Park somewhere in here, someone needed to be told what had happened.

Jon knew since he had informed the enginnering department and he wasn't traped he just went on with his day. That ment off to the holodeck so his Commanding officer would know he can follow orders.
Jon headed to the nearest jeffiers tube and opened the hatch, he moved into them and headed to the holodecks. Jon enetered Holodeck 4, "Computer activate program Robin hood. Make my Robin Hood but make my outfit all blue." The computer beeped, "Program altered." Park spoke again "COmputer run program and show access to Colonel Runningwolf's computer."
Jon watched as the holodeck changed into the woods of the famous story, Jon moved into the trees and headed to where he knew the merry men would be.
----- 3 hours later-----
Jon was standing on a tree branch after there mission and adressed his men. "We have defeted that evil Sheriff and won the land that is right fully mine, Now we wait to defent these woods from our enimies. Good work and resume your work."
Jon turned and saw someone so out of place in this era. "Computer Pause Program." all the charectors froze in there spots and Jon jumped from the tree. "Seth, what program were you running." Jon looked at him he saw something was wrong. "I have a funny feeling you have come to me not to join my holodeck program."

R&R. Everyone was getting some rest while Cmdr. Grey was stuck on the bridge. Not that she minded the position. Oh, no. She didn't mind at all. She was getting real close to making full commander and this little 'training' stint was welcome.
" You have the bridge Doctor I shall be on the mess deck she's all your's try not to double park or scratch the paint. Just a little humor Doc relax your bridge training training will come back quicker then you realize, after words we'll talk about making Mr Park pull a couple of shifts down is sick bay with you so he can get a taste of what you have to deal with"
That last statement brought a smile to Lucy's lips. She'd had Mr. Park in her sickbay on several occasions but he'd never really hung around long enough for her to involve him in the finer details of her duties. Leaning back in the chair, she imagined his expression when she set him in the surgery theatre.... No, no. First he should witness the full morgue process. From autopsy on...
"Doctor... uh, Commander Grey, I have Starbase Assailant on long range sensors," Cmdr. Reylf stated from the navigations console. "We should arrive in approximately 33 hours."
"Thank you, Mr. Reylf." Lucy's view of helm showed her only the Bajoran's earring which moved with his actions. She was still nodding when information started scrolling by on the armchair viewscreen. She pressed the communications link, saying, "Mr. Dunowin, I still don't have a report on the malfunction in the turbolift."
<Tag: Dunowin>
"No, I wouldn't want to do your job if my life depended on it. Just get that report in as soon as you can. We're not too far from home."
<Tag: Dunowin>
"Very good, Mr. Dunowin. Grey out."

Before
Sharon had piloted the badly damaged Challenger back to drydock, they had recieved some help from another race for exchange of information. Once the ship had docked Admiral Brint came aboard, he looked the place over and told the crew the ship was to be decomissioned, it was beyond repair. Sharon was not happy about it but not much she could do about it. she decided to take boots and go home and stay in her apartment, she put in for teaching at the academy, she was not so willing to go back to space for awhile.
Sharon had just finished a class on astrophysics when a man in a black officers uniform approached her. "Commander Wolf?" He asked.
"Yes, can I help you?" Sharon asked.
"I believe you might, would you come with me please." He said.
Sharon out of curiosity followed the man through the academy to headquarters, down several halls and into a room where sat one man.
"Commander Wolf, former armory and security officer of the now decommisioned Challenger please have a seat." The man said.
Sharon narrowed her eyes but took a seat. "Ok, you know who I am, now who are you?"
"Who I am is no matter, we are starfleet intel, I need a officer that is a excellant pilot. Your skills as a pod pilot and ship pilot are of the best. I am sending a team to a planet, I cannot tell you the name, because at this point it is unknown but sources have revealed that this planet shows odd spatial disturbances emanating from the planet, would you be interested in going?" He asked.
"I suppose, I assume I really don't have a choice do I?" Sharon asked.
"No not really but I had to ask anyway, Shawn will escort you to the ship that is waiting, you will remain i n quarters until escorted to the shuttlebay then you will recieve further orders, dismissed." The man said getting up and left.
Sharon followed Shawn out without a word, they headed to the main transporter room and she was beamed to a dark room then the lights came on and she was in quarters. There was a black uniform with commander pips on the bed waiting for her then the door opened and a kman in black walked in.
"Commander Wolf, I'm Captain Scott, I will be your commander for this trip. sorry to keep you like this but its the rules. There are two men outside the door, if you need anything or myself tell them, we will arrive at the planet tomorrow morning at 0900, you will be escorted from here to the shuttlebay enjoy the ride." He said and stepped out.
The trip was not boring, she was allowed a pda that had books on it and music as well. She relaxed and sat back enjoying the ride, her meals were brought in to her, pretty much what she wanted generally by her habits they knew what she liked.
The next morning she changed into the black intel uniform and was escorted down to the shuttlebay, the shuttle was different then the pods she was used to but the controls were similiar, Captain Scott filled her in on anything she wasn't sure of. The shuttle carried a total of 8 people and looked like a matchbox with engines. Once they left the ship she could tell that there were definitely shifts in space coming from the planet, she checked the heavily rocked ground for a landing place and landed the craft.
Sharon was given something called a tricorder and a phaser not a phase pistol. They left the shuttle and headed due east for about a mile until they reached a slope.
"Captain, what are we looking for?" Sharon asked.
"I'm not totally sure, its large that much I know and its not far from here." He said.
Sharon nodded as they continued then they found it, it did not look like much just a object with a whole in the middle but her tricorder told her that this was where the disturbances in space were coming from. She and the captain approached it and walked around it.
"I have a bad feeling about this, this doesn't make sense, how could this object be causing such a fuss?" Sharon asked.
'I honestly don't know, I wonder what it is?" He asked.
Then a voice and the circle changed showing history. "For millenia I have awaited a question."
Sharon and the captain exchanged glances, so Sharon spoke up. "What or who are you?"
"I am what you see, a doorway to the past, present and future. I can show you events from your own time period and before you were born." The voice said.
"I assume then you are a gatway or a guardian of forever." Caprtain Scott stated.
"I am." It said.
"Sharon are you recording this?" He asked.
"I' am. not sure what but I'm recording as much as I'am able to.
The captain was about to say something when his communicator chirped, it was the ship. "Captain, we are under attack by the klingons, we have to leave will return with reinforcements as soon as possible." then the comm went dead.
"Klingons, thats all we need we need to..." The captain stopped when red energy beams went all over the place.
They ducked and returned fire the, it became a standoff and it was fairly obvious that it was them agains her and the captain when they heard the screams of their people.
"Throw your weapons down humans and you won't be harmed, it's you two against 8 of us, you do not stand a chance." The deep voice said.
The Captain stood up and yelled. "Never." He fired blindly and was taken down immediately, Sharon was now on her own. She would not surrender to the klingons and had one choice.
"Guardian, I need to get away from here, send me to the future, or to earth, I do not have time to explain but do not let what I do upset the time continuum." Sharon said.
"Your loss here will not have an affect on the future." It said.
Sharon nodded and moved quickly, she dropped her tricorder and set the phaser to overload, she threw the phaser in the general direction of the klingons and ran, she had no time to find out where in time she was going but jumped through the portal as a phaser shot missed her by inches.
Present
Sharon was propelled through time and hit a tree landing in grass, she did not know where she was and had no clue what it was then darkness over took her.

Jon was listening to Seth with his problem and running in his mind who the Crewman was and where he worked. Jon was going to go to his Department head or his Section Commander when Jon said. "You know i will get yelled at for this, However Relived of duty or not i am the first officer of this ship and all crew issues are my responsibility."
Jon was about to tap his combadge, when they heard a huge whine go around the Holodeck, "Computer what is the source of this whining sound." The Computer was taking a little bit of time but replied. "Holodeck 4 is working within normal parameters." Jon looked at Seth. "Look around for any damage."
Jon went left and he saw Seth go the other way, after 15 minutes of looking around Park found nothing. Tapping his combadge he said, "=/\= Park to Helacaan, I am shutting down that holodeck."
<Tag Seth>
Jon looked into the sky "Computer End program." The computer beeped and the Trees rocks hills and all disappeared, All but a lone figure laying about 4 feet from the north wall of the Holodeck. Jon saw Seth but the Holodeck doors also looking at the figure. Jon moved to this figure and knew right away there was something wrong. His father was gone a long time but he had seen this uniform in his database. "Oh my god, This is a Starfleet Intel Uniform." Jon knew the all Black uniform of intelligence.
Jon knew this was wrong in another way, "Seth get a medical team down here, And our acting first officer too." Jon knew the next words would sound really weird. "This person is from the Past, The NX program Era."
<Tag Seth>
Jon knew Seth was right. "Yes your right but have Colonel Runningwolf join us in sickbay." Jon waited as the Medical team came in and did a basic work up. As the team left with there new guest Jon followed with them.
--Sickbay--
Jon stood by his mothers Bio-bed as he watched the team work on how there Guest was hurt. After a while they finished and Doctor Grey came over to him. "Yes Doctor what have you found?"
<Tag Grey>
"Thats great, Can i speck to her now?" Jon asked he had only one real Question, But wasn't sure if the acting First officer would mind if the Official First officer took an interest in there guest.
<Tag Grey>
Jon walked over to the Guest and looked her over she looked better with the skin fixed from the hit with the tree, but she had her eyes closed. "Commander Sharon Wolf from the Starship Challenger, Is that Correct?"
Jon looked at her as she opens her eyes and looks at him, "I am Commander First Class Jon Park. First officer of the Starship Nevada."

Sharon felt herself being lifted up off the cold floor, she heard voices she did not recognize and slept hearing it was a medical team tending to her, her head hurt like hell from whatever she hit. She was taken to sickbay and felt herself being placed on a bed and then a doctor and a couple of nurses undressed her and put a gown on her, then covered her with a sheet and the doctor tended to her head, she felt a hypo at her neck and soon the pain was gone. Then she felt the presence of someone else and he spoke.
"Commander Sharon Wolf from the Starship Challenger, Is that Correct?"
Jon looked at her as she opens her eyes and looks at him, "I am Commander First Class Jon Park. First officer of the Starship Nevada."
Sharon stared at the man for a moment his uniform was different it bothered her a bit, she yawned. " Commander Park, I hate to be blunt, but where the hell am I and when am I?" Sharon asked.
<Jon>
"I see, so I'm years into the future, well before I hit whatever I hit I was on some planet assisting starfleet Intel, they found some sort of doorway to history, or in my case the future. we were attacked by klingons, and it was either give up or jump, I talked to this doorway, it told me that I would not change history by stepping through, whatever that means, then I ended up here." Sharon said.

Jon understood why she asked that first, Jon would if he was in the same spot. Jon was thinking how to answer that question, he figured once she knew she was in the future then just come out with it. "Well you know your in the Future and i have already tome you your on the Starship Nevada, as for when it is Stardate 950909.56."
Jon dd the math in his head, "I believe that makes it around 236 years into your future." Jon was watching to see her reaction but saw none. "If you excuse me i will return." Jon went to the closest console and ran a check. "Computer bring up Star fleet profile on Wolf, Sharon Commander. Ship Starship Challenger." The computer worked and replied. "File is restricted, Security code required." Jon was smiling because of the Black Uniform she was wearing when he found her on the Holodeck. "Security Code Park Alpha 3 Beta 2." The computer beeped, "Code accepted Second Code required." Jon was at a loss but felt a person was there. "Computer Commander First Class Jane Park Security Code Park Omega 3 Alpha Charlie 7."
The computer worked and said "Access code Accepted File Open." Jon read the data but said over his shoulder "Thanks mom." He kept reading the screen and saw that she was the one of the only few members of the Starship Challenger that served her final Mission. Park knew how that was given he was on one of the final mission on his training ship.
Park kept reading but saw a classified mission was just after the ship was officially Decommissioned, Park saw no reason for it but heard the doors open and the People he had asked to arrive did so. Hitting the control he locked the file and returned Mrs. Wolf's Bedside.
"Commander Wolf my i introduce the Commanding officer of the USS Nevada Colonel Runningwolf ." Again he watched he reaction but again saw none. "This is Lt. Seth Helacaan he was with me when we found you." Jon motioned to each officer as he introduced them and waited form what was to happen next.

He got the call and heard the alarm of intruder alter which was quite odd since he knew there were no ships near them for at least 2 light years. He made his way to sick bay to see his acting first officer looking over somebody wearing a uniform that he was more the familure with a little out of date but no mistaking it.
He noticed Commmander Park already acessing information and his operations Lt Seth just as well trying to figure things out. He already heard her name mentioned and something about a door way through time. Which was already sending alarm bells off in his head not to mention once Park accessed her personal record star fleet intelligence was going to know something was up. That was not a call he was looking forward to still he would have some say in the matter.
" Well everybody seems my plans for rest will be cut short accept for the 2 of you Mr. Park and Mr. Seth my orders still stand."
He didn't say anything to Commander wolf yet he turned to doctor Grey " Whats her condition any side effects from her little trip through the door. Also what about contanmination from germs and stuff from the old time line. More importanly are we exposing her to anything she might have had to deal with back then" <Tag Grey>
Finally he turned to face the officer from the past the way past by his book " Commander Wolf as my first officer informed you already I'm Colonel Running wolf Commanding officer of the U.S.S Nevada. I'm afraid for the moment information" he stopped and eyed each of his officers to make sure they understood his meaning " will not be very forth coming in case we have to try and send you back or your pulled back on your own. As soon as the science team and my Chief medical officer can assure me of that. All information about this time line will be with held, also you will be confined to sick bay for the interm until things are cleared up. While I may not be your direct commanding officer, you still wear a star fleet uniform if you give me your word to obey my standing order. I will not place security her I'm sure Doctor Grey would also like not to have any extra bodies in her way as well" <Tag Wolf>
Turning to face Mr. Seth and Mr. Park " Gentleman by my count you still have about 40 hrs left on R&R how you spend is up to you. If you decided to stick around make sure you don't get in the way and try to keep you questions to only a few hundred I'm sure Commander Wolf needs time to adjust to her new enviroment" <Tag Seth & Park>
He walked over to Doctor Grey " Can I have word with you in your office for a moment"
They entered her office he didn't take her seat after all it was her office " Doc this is going to raise alot of red flags at star fleet. I need to be sure on everything before we start answering her questions. Aslo I know I'v asked you in the past and I hate asking but since we don't have a counselor on board. I'm going need you to interput her mental state, she seemed far to calm to me when she heard the star date" <Tag Grey>

Jon understood what he meant right away, however he knew what "marines" or Marco's were considered in her time. "Captain i understand your the Commanding officer of the Nevada, but you have to consider what your uniform means to Commander Wolf. No offense meant sir, But Marines in her time were considered Civilian personal and they answered to Starfleet not the other way around. That being said i suggest we turn direct care over to Acting first officer Doctor Grey." Jon knew it was a long shot but he had to put this new thing in play.
<Tag Runningwolf>
Jon nodded "Very good sir, I will retire to my office but if you would like i can make my self open to the good Doctor and our guest given this unique situation." Jon knew he officially hand to ask even with Doctor Grey as Acting first officer all crew and guest issues went threw him, And no matter if he was off duty or not a guest from the past was not going to be tossed off his radar so to speck.
<Tag Runningwolf>
Jon knew he hadn't done anything about Seth's issue yet but as a good first officer Jon was going to inform his CO this was something that he had to inform him due to the fact a Crew member and Senior member of staff has been threated with harm. "Sir we have one other thing i believe we should talk about in private, Doctor Can we use your office.?"
<Tag Grey>
Jon entered the office and motioned behind the Doctors chair as First officer he would always make the seat behind a desk to the Colonel first. "Sir i will take care of this issue when i return to duty, but i felt you needed to know right away. Lt. Seth Helacaan has been threatened by another crewman..." Jon had to think about the crewman's name due to the fact Commander Wolf appeared in the way she did. "At the moment sir i don't recall the name but when it comes to me i will inform you."
<Tag Runningwolf>
Jon walked out of the Office and headed to his Office, Shortly about 2 hours later his door chimed. "Enter." There stood a security officer Lt.Riker from Beta Team. "Lt.Riker can i help you?" Riker looked at him. "No sir this man asked to see you, your father." Riker moved to allow Michael Park to enter. "Dad whats wrong?"
Michael Park entered and looked around, "Your office is bigger then most standered starship Quarters son." His father smiled and sat across from him and Jon ran a search for any family members in or out of Starfleet who may be related to Commander Wolf, and monitoring the Science team to see how there research was going. "Dad you know back then it was always business and not on pleasure on ship." Michael nodded, "It's good to see that both my kinds went into starfleet and not only one but two members of the Park clan became Commander First Classes, How is Marcy doing?" Jon smiled and said. "Dad if you wanted to you can find out you are a Lt.Commander and her father..." Michael cut him off "They have suspend my authorization codes and access until we arrive back at Starbase." Jon understood and accessed that info. "My sister and your daughter is currently an Lt. Junior Grade and stationed aboard the DS9 as part of the Defiant Crew as Chief Helm officer." Jon's father smiled and stood up. "I believe i will go see my wife now, thank you son." Michael walked out
----5 hours later -----
Jon was now 35 hours until he was first officer again well able to be on the bridge again, he was watching a report about kirk and the guardian of forever when his Office door chimed. "Come."

"Mr. Dunowin, I still don't have a report on the malfunction in the turbolift."
"With all due respect, Commander," Dunowin began. "I've only been on the ship less than an a day. Just give me a little more time to familiarize myself a little more with the systems, please. Unless you wanna come down and give us a hand?" he added jokingly.
"No, I wouldn't want to do your job if my life depended on it. Just get that report in as soon as you can. We're not too far from home."
"Yes, Ma'am. I'll have it for you as soon as possible."
"Very good, Mr. Dunowin. Grey out."
While Dunowin was running his program tests, Ensign Malloy's voice chimed in over his comm badge.
=^=Hey, Chief. You might want to come down to the shaft. We found something here that doesn't belong.=^=
=^=On my way.=^=
Dunowin grabbed another tool kit and headed out. When he arrived, he quickly climbed down and joined his men.
"What have we got?" he asked.
Malloy just pointed at the open junction box. when he looked, Dunowin immediately saw what had alerted the other man. He quickly pulled out his scanner and began running it over the box. When he was done, he held it up for Malloy to see. Malloy in turn, did the same.
"Exact same readings I got, sir. According to the scanners, that isn't in there."he said with a nod of his head.
"Okay. Remove it and get it down to Engineering. I wanna see what's inside." Dunowin ordered as he turned and began crawling out of the turbo shaft.
"Aye, sir." was the last thing he heard as he headed back down to Engineering to ready the equipment.
Ten minutes later, Malloy and the other Ensign, Damn. I gotta start remembering names. Dunowin thought, entered.
"Over here." he called to them. They placed the item on the console and Dunowin began analyzing it.
"Well. It's Ferengi made." Dunowin said. "You haven't had any on board lately, have you?" he asked his men with a grin. they both shook their heads no. "Didn't think so. Let's see who it's programed for." he added. "Wow." he exclaimed a couple of minutes later. "Whoever installed this isn't playing around. They go big." he said as the readouts flashed across the monitor. All three men looked as if someone could have steeped on their bottom lips from the jaw drops they all wore.
"Okay. Nice work. I'll write this up and get it to Commander Grey. If you two still have some shift time left, why don't you run some more tests on this thing and see if we can make a way to scan for them. If there's one, there may be more." He turned on his heels and went to his office. He sat at the desk and began keying in his report. 30 minutes later, he was ready to return to the bridge.
When the turbolift doors parted, he made his way over to Commander Grey.
"Ma'am. your report." he said as he stood at attention. It was short and to the point.
It read:
Turbolift 7 malfunction was due to the installation of a Ferengi manufactured Programmable Systems Bypass Circuit. The unit was removed and taken to Engineering for analyzes. It was discovered that this unit was programmed to activate upon voice recognition of both Commander Parks and Colonel Runningwolf. the unit also has a build in system that allows it to go undetected by hand held scanners. There is currently a team working to solve this issue. Once done, a scan of the entire ship will take place in an effort to see if there are any more aboard. This is recommended since this circuit had to be placed in the location in which it was found. There would have been no other way for it to have gotten there.

He looked at his first officer and smiled he was proud of the fact he spoke his mind, yet he was upset about who was in charge because he was a marine. Still he had a point but he was going to go all the way with it.
" Commander Park you are quite right to a point, for her taking orders from me would be hard. Still she is a star fleet officer and I will not back down because of the time line she came from. I might have if she wasn't wearing the uniform she's wear right now star fleet intell. I once wore one for a long time. Until we learn what she was doing I will not be keeping hands off, I don't doubt her story but thats just it a story until proven if her last order was to keep her mission secert then by telling a story she's obeying that order."
"But since we are on the subject and we are giving each other some advice, then let me give you some. You ever see that uniform you play it safe take it from personal experience remember what it cost your family already. Next since when do we give the star date to someone we suspect is out of the past. The last and most importan thing when you access classified information you come to me first. Your little research set off every alarm bell at star fleet intelligence we are going to have alot of explaining to do with out knowing all the facts first, we could have this pulled from us before we even get started"
pausing for a moment becuase he knew he let his pride get in the way " Commander Park I'm the Commanding officer its my job to look out for all of you. With that being said you are right about who should take the lead on this for the moment. I already asked Doctor Grey to watch over her and try and find some answers. I'm also going to send for Dunowin and have him do some scans as well. Time travel just great" chuckling alittle " Why is it Mr. Park ever time I think we are going to have a nice normal day we seem to have suprise. You can visit with our friend from the past but under no circumstances are you to reveal any information about this time or anything beyound he last know star date until both Doctor Grey and Ensign Dunowin can assure me she's here to stay is that understood can you live that" <Tag Park>
He watched his first officer leave " Oh Mr. Park up date me on the Lt Seth matter as soon as you have all the facts. Something has been amiss about him since I came aboard, I want to make sure he's not forgotten about with all that is going on"<Tag park>
He tapped his combadge " Mr. Dunowin sorry to interrupt but it seems I have a nother job for you. Report to sick back with all the equipment you need to scan somebody who's just done some time traveling report to Doctor Grey and work with her. Until both you and the Doc can assure me this person is the real thing and wont be pulled back, she is not to leave or be informed of anything that has happend since her last know star date" <Tag Dunowin>
He walke out of the office " Doctor Grey Commander Wolf is in your charge and care until the all clear"

OOC: Going right back up to where Jon first asked what my problem was!
"No sir, I did not," Seth replied to Park's question. He made a quick show of looking around at the odd surroundings. Park's clothes and the appearance of the other characters in the simulation were unfamiliar, and the general setting was confusing. "This is definitely very different to my simulation," he observed.
"As to why I'm here, sir, I have something of an issue to bring up. A member of the crew... has made personal threats, against me. The individual isn't an officer, it's Crewman Abbey, one of the enlisted personnel from ship supplies." Park's face turned very serious as Seth spoke. "I had an encounter with him before we started the search for your father and a couple of hours ago we had another run-in, where he made the threats. My career in Starfleet may be under threat."
Park asked some questions and they talked some more, Seth telling the first officer that the departed Ensign Borgas had apparently taken Abbey's complaint back to Starfleet HQ for this sector. Of course, Seth wasn't telling Park the whole truth, wasn't telling him how he could've killed Abbey with the attack that he hadn't properly revealed. Seth wasn't deluded though, he knew that should the truth reach back to HQ and be escalated to the higher authorities responsible for judging these cases, then the Wezean could be in a lot of trouble, and more so that he already had not told Park the full extent of the problem.
That was then the whining sound came; well timed too, Seth thought. They deactivated the holo-simulation and realised that there was a person present, lying still on the floor of the holodeck.
"Seth get a medical team down here, And our acting first officer too." Jon knew the next words would sound really weird. "This person is from the Past, The NX program Era."
"Are you sure, sir?" asked the COO as they leant over the prone form. Seth thought that that was some conclusion to reach but he guessed that Park knew the era's uniform well. This man is someone whose family has a history of Starfleet service, he reminded himself. "About the medical team, sir," he said as they looked over the black-uniformed human female, "may I remind you of regulation and protocol. We should be careful not to reveal too much of this century if you're right her."
"Yes your right but have Colonel Runningwolf join us in sickbay." Park replied.

Seth walked with the Colonel to sickbay, having gathered him up at the request of Park. They entered and again Seth saw the woman from two centuries ago, this time however she was awake. Park was there also. He introduced the CO and COO to the new arrival and Seth nodded to her.
The Colonel talked to Commander Wolf, with Seth realising that should the 22nd century officer stay with them for a while then the issue of similar names could arise. Eventually Runningwolf turned back to Park and Seth, stating that they should resume their leave. "With respect sir, I think -" Seth began, but the CO was already off talking to Doctor Grey (returned to sickbay by request to deal with Commander Wolf).
Seth was hard-believing that he was being returned back to his leave. Another big event had happened - and objectively there were not many bigger than time travel - but now he was to pick up his relaxing again as if nothing had happened.
As officers left sickbay once more, Seth remained behind. Just for a short while though, for he had a question to ask.
"Commander Wolf," he offered a quick handshake to the person who was - according to her birth date at least - much older than him. "A quick question, this may seem out-of-the-blue," he started, sure that he wasn't breaking timeline protocol any further than it had been, "I was born on a colony world. In your time, the colony was yet to be settled... it took another, uh, forty years or so, perhaps for the first settlers to arrive. However, it is unknown how far back people were aware of it before it was settled. Tell me, have you heard of the Canis Major Delta system, and its one habitable planet?"

There was something important about Seth's question; it was a mystery whose exploration thereof was well-hidden by the Helacaan family and associated others, and there were wide-reaching implications for its discovery.
Later, with much deliberation and wondering if it was the right thing to do, Seth made his way to a particular person's office. He rang the chime, half expecting it not to be heard, the office unoccupied but no, sure enough there was a voice from inside. "Come."
Seth entered Park's office and faced him at his desk. Park swivelled in his seat to face the Operations officer. "Sir, I wanted to tell you... I did not tell you the whole truth earlier in the holodeck. There's more."
