"Ma'am. your report." Ensign Dunowin said as he stood at attention. It was short and to the point.
Cmdr. Grey thumbed the padd on then read the brief message.
Turbolift 7 malfunction was due to the installation of a Ferengi manufactured Programmable Systems Bypass Circuit. The unit was removed and taken to Engineering for analyzes. It was discovered that this unit was programmed to activate upon voice recognition of both Commander Parks and Colonel Runningwolf. the unit also has a build in system that allows it to go undetected by hand held scanners. There is currently a team working to solve this issue. Once done, a scan of the entire ship will take place in an effort to see if there are any more aboard. This is recommended since this circuit had to be placed in the location in which it was found. There would have been no other way for it to have gotten there.
”Good work, Mr. Dunowin. Notify security for follow-up.” Lucy glanced over her shoulder at the security officer standing by the turbolift doors. She waved the padd to get his attention and turned back to the engineering chief. “As for your department, follow through with your scans then put everything on hold until we get back to Starbase Assailant. I’ll inform Colonel Runningwolf of our situation.”
Just then the call came in for the Acting First Officer to report to sickbay. Now, that was welcome news. At least the doctor would be back on her own familiar stomping grounds.
=sickbay=
She wore the uniform Lucy had only seen in history class but the color of it was the same as she’d seen so very recently. Elric Devon, the trauma nurse, handed her the tricorder, his arm reaching up to swivel the overhead bio cluster in the doctor’s direction. Dr. Grey read the vital signs within a tenth of a second. “Minor concussion,” Lucy muttered. “To be expected since the woman did make direct contact with a tree.”
Jon stood by his mothers Bio-bed as he watched the team work on how there Guest was hurt. After a while they finished and Doctor Grey came over to him. "Yes Doctor what have you found?"
“Nothing that won’t heal given time. Be easy on her, Jon. You’ve been through similar mishaps. Draw on your own experience here.” Lucy’s voice had taken on a soothing tone, one she hoped would be accepted as she meant it. And apparently Cmdr. Park understood perfectly.
"That’s great, Can I speck to her now?" Jon asked.
“Sure. I don’t need to tell you to keep your voice level, do I?” Grinning, Dr. Grey made a sidestep to allow Park to move.
Runningwolf turned to doctor Grey " Whats her condition any side effects from her little trip through the door. Also what about contamination from germs and stuff from the old time line. More importantly are we exposing her to anything she might have had to deal with back then"
Lucy sighed. This is why marines should never be allowed in a naval sickbay. “Starfleet medical procedures have filtered out any harmful bacteria,” the doctor said softly.
In the CMOs office, Lucy stood behind her desk wondering if she should offer the main chair to her commanding officer.
" Doc this is going to raise alot of red flags at star fleet. I need to be sure on everything before we start answering her questions. Also I know I'v asked you in the past and I hate asking but since we don't have a counselor on board. I'm going need you to interpret her mental state, she seemed far to calm to me when she heard the star date"
Dr. Grey nodded. “I agree.” She quickly looked into the colonel’s eyes, continuing - probably a bit unnecessarily, “That’s an Intel uniform, sir. She’s been through a lot of training to get that collar.”
The look in the COs eyes let Lucy know that he understood all too well what a Black Collar meant. He walked out of the office " Doctor Grey, Commander Wolf is in your charge and care until the all clear."

"Sir, I wanted to tell you... I did not tell you the whole truth earlier in the holodeck. There's more."
Jon looked at the COO and kinda figured there was." I had a feeling, i looked into the matter a short time ago and saw the report that was written, However i have been able to have any investigation my the former CSTO Held due to the fact no he was on ship for a short time so tell me the whole story."
<Tag Seth>
Jon nodded as he listened, Park knew he was going to talk to Crewman Abby he was looking for why it was thinking on how he can defuse the issue."Seth what would you like to do? Crewman Abby is a good officer at what he does, But you know i need a smooth working ship."
<Tag Seth>
Jon wanted Seth to make a choice but he would make the correct choice if he couldn't. Jon was going to talk to Crewman Abby but first he wanted to visit there guest in sickbay as well as his mother.
Jon entered Sickbay and headed to there new guest. "Commander Wolf how are you doing?" Jon smiled as she spoke there was something about her he just couldn't figure it out.

Sharon rested, her eyes were closed but she could hear all the sounds of sickbay, this sickbay was not the same as the sickbay on the Challenger, it was newer and better then she heard Seth approach.
"Commander Wolf," he offered a quick handshake to the person who was - according to her birth date at least - much older than him. "A quick question, this may seem out-of-the-blue," he started, sure that he wasn't breaking timeline protocol any further than it had been, "I was born on a colony world. In your time, the colony was yet to be settled... it took another, uh, forty years or so, perhaps for the first settlers to arrive. However, it is unknown how far back people were aware of it before it was settled. Tell me, have you heard of the Canis Major Delta system, and its one habitable planet?"
Sharon opened her eyes and shook his hand and gave him a small smile. "I have, before I became armory officer, I was also the ships navigator."
<Seth>
Sharon thought, the Co is a colonel, this is interesting, myself and the exec outrank the Colonel. She thought if I'm going or remaining I would not have a problem serving under the colonel, he maybe a marine butin this era he was recognized him as the ships commanding officer and the respect that brings. Seth left without another question that gave her a chance to sleep when the nurse appeared.
"Commander, can I get you anything?" She asked.
"Yes water would be fine." Sharon said, she was not feeling to hungry then she saw the commander walk in.
"Commander Wolf how are you doing?" Jon smiled as she spoke there was something about her he just couldn't figure it out.
"I'm doing pretty good for a old woman. Commander, don't let that ugly black uniform fool you, I' am not a intel officer nor ever will be one. Intel in my time are not ones to mess with, I would assume its the same in this time." Sharon said.

Seth nodded, blinking at Sharon Wolf's information. She had heard of his home system. He ended up staring into the distance and then down into his interlinked fingers. "Thank you," he said, his face screwed up in concentration. The preoccupied Wezean exited the sickbay.
* * *
" I had a feeling, i looked into the matter a short time ago and saw the report that was written, However i have been able to have any investigation my the former CSTO Held due to the fact no he was on ship for a short time so tell me the whole story."
"That's difficult, sir," he looked up to the marginally taller XO. "The reasons behind it are difficult to explain. I'll try." Seth paused. "I've been having.. numerous personal difficulties that I've kept from the crew. It makes everything a little bit more difficult to take. The broken replicator in my quarters, fixed now mind you, and the uncertainty over my future - not in Starfleet, but my life in general. I'm a long way from what I would call home.
"These frustrations got the better of me when Crewman Abbey said that it would take a while to get someone to fix my replicator..."
"Excuse me, Crewmen," Seth said as he entered the main ships' stores area.
"Lieutenant Helacaan. What can we do for you?" one of the two men said; they were both standing by wall displays with PADDs in hand, taking down some inventories probably.
"Two things," said the Ops chief. "Firstly I'd like you to repair the uniform cycler in my quarters. It is getting ridiculous.. malfunctioning for a week now, if I didn't know better I'd think I was on Ascension." The man he was looking at blinked slowly in confusion, Seth recognised him as Crewman Abbey. "Secondly can you get me a uniform jacket? Those Klingons enjoyed tearing it up too much I think."
"Of course," the other crewman said, bounding off to the adjacent store to fetch a jacket.
Abbey turned back to Seth, "That takes care of that, sir.. about the other thing, I'm afraid we can't do it 'til the day after tomorrow."
"What? What are you saying?" Seth asked the man, a bad feeling of what was to come settling on his shoulders.
"Well, we do have a full schedule and in addition the maintenance repair you require is not entirely possible at the moment for a number of reasons -"
That was enough for Seth. This man did not seem to understand that what he was telling the Wezean was precisely what he didn't want to hear. Why was it that when things went wrong in life they always got worse and much more depressing, before they got better? He grabbed Abbey by the throat, backing him against the wall and for an instant seriously considering throttling him to death; until the man could no longer get sufficient air into his lungs, until his neck was crushed beyond repair. "Do you not understand me!?" Seth said shakily, blinking through stinging eyes and feeling polar-opposite emotions course through him; this was wrong he knew and he utterly excoriated himself for it; at the same time the overbearing emotions forced him to take action, any action to quell the unfathomable thoughts.
The other crewman came back with the uniform jacket; Seth sensed him stop in the doorway, of course he'd be shocked at what he saw. Instantly Seth released the man, letting him sag to the floor. "You're a madman," Abbey croaked, rubbing at his neck possessedly, now that it had been released from Helacaan's prehensile grip.
Seth took the jacket, "Thank you," he told the stunned man and then promptly left. Stopping in the doorway he wanted to say sorry, but knew that it would not be right. He also knew there would be severe penalties for him should the target of his rage decide to report the assault.
"So you can see sir," Seth said after finishing relating his tale. "I have a problem. And now that the nearest Starbase and eventually the judicial branch of Starfleet are informed, I fear for my career as a Starfleet officer."
Park was nodding, seemingly taking time to think on these revelations. Eventually he spoke again, "Seth what would you like to do? Crewman Abbey is a good officer at what he does, But you know i need a smooth working ship."
"Yes, sir I understand. And I'll continue with my duties as normal for the time being 'til we reach Starbase." He paused once more. "Again, as the authorities have been informed, there is little I can do at the moment except wait. When we arrive at Assailant.. things should reveal themselves. I only hope they don't delve too deep into my record, something like this happened before but I was acquitted." Seth looked out of the portal of Park's office in sadness. He watched the stars go by before speaking again, "To tell the truth, I wouldn't be surprised if you wanted me off the ship, sir."

Dunowin had just reentered Engineering when he received the call from his CO.
" Mr. Dunowin sorry to interrupt but it seems I have a nother job for you. Report to sick back with all the equipment you need to scan somebody who's just done some time traveling report to Doctor Grey and work with her. Until both you and the Doc can assure me this person is the real thing and wont be pulled back, she is not to leave or be informed of anything that has happend since her last know star date"
"Aye, sir. I'm on my way." he replied.
He stood there for a moment wondering exactly what he might need to take with him in order to complete this task. He finally decided on a standard scanner before leaving to head for sickbay.
A few minutes later, he arrived at his destination and walked over to the CMOs office.
"Dr. Grey. Ensign Dunowin reporting, Ma'am." He said somewhat nervously. "Begging your pardon, Ma'am, but do you have any idea why and with what exactly the Colonel would want me to assist you with? I mean, wouldn't you just need to pull the patients records from the computer library and match them against new scans?" he asked.

Jon understood what Seth was saying about if he wanted him the be put off the ship, However he was a Senior officer and this person who he had the issue with was a Crewman. Thats not what Jon was thinking about because for one it was his job to make sure the ship is run best no matter what.
Seth did risk his life for his father and him in the last mission and if Jon kept him because of Crewman Abby, it would show favoritism, But would Jon let the career of a good person be destroyed because of another who had a misunderstanding and thats what is sounded like to Jon.
"I will speck to Crewman Abby about this Seth and have a report and a recommendation for Stafleet when we reach starbase, I hope we can come to a choice that would benefit all of us, And just so you know i would never want an officer like you to have to leave unless we have no choice.
<Tag Seth>
Jon left Seth and headed to sickbay to speck to Commander Wolf, he had a little over a day about 28 hours until he was back on duty.
"I'm doing pretty good for a old woman. Commander, don't let that ugly black uniform fool you, I' am not a intel officer nor ever will be one. Intel in my time are not ones to mess with, I would assume its the same in this time." Sharon said.
Jon Smiled thinking~if she is old then i know someone who is older.~ "Well yes Intel is just about how you remember them from your time. You said you jumped into something like a Guardian of forever, we have no recorded of your encounter with one." Jon was holding back more so he followed his Commanding officers standing orders. "Do you remember exactly what the guardian said to you?"

"Dr.
"Said like that, it seems rather simple," Lucy responded, "but it's a bit more difficult." Dr. Grey tilted her monitor around so the CEO could see it. "Current records don't go back to the 22nd century. So, you will need to do your engineering magic to pull Cmdr. Wolf's last known medical records. I want the psyche evals, too, if you can get them."
<Dunowin>
"If you can't, then you can't. I'll do the best with the information I have at hand." Lucy stood, not so much as a signal the meeting was ended as to get on to the next phase of her duties. "Meanwhile, I'll be on the bridge. As far as I know, I haven't been relieved of that duty yet."
<Dunowin> (I'll backsim more if you want)
Lucy looked up in time to see Dr. Story walking by, a padd held in front of her. The ACMO seemed oblivious to everything around her as she studied the padd.
"Dr. Story, I have a job for you if you have the time."
Lisa Story stopped in mid-step and looked up at her boss. "Of course, doctor. I was reading over the supply list. We need quite a few things when we get to the base."
"Good job, Lisa. Right now I need you to get a history of our newest crew member, Cmdr. Sharon Wolf. She's confined to sickbay until we can find out who she really is." Lucy waved her hand in the air, saying, "Oh, we know she's the commander she says but we don't know much else. She supposedly came through a time portal from the 22nd century. Get as much verbal medical and psyche history as you can. Then cross it all with what Mr. Dunowin finds out. I'll be on the bridge. I left our navigations officer at the conn. Cmdr. Reylf is probably getting antsy about now."
At Lisa's smile, Lucy walked quickly out of sickbay and across to the turbolift, saying into the air, "Bridge."

The uniform Commander Wolf was wearing had sent alram bells off in every part of his brain. He had worn one him self for a great part of his career and knew exactly what it entailed the good and the bad. If she was the standard intell officer she would obey her orders to the letter. It wouldn't be a shock that intell would send somebody into the future to gather data and bring it back and thats what worried him.
He made his way back to the bridge to see his acting first officer assuming her station. He smiled a little he enjoyed catching his officers off guard. He would make sure that she got her chance to get even and have Mr. Park work in sick bay for a few shifts.
He entered his office and already there was a message from Star fleet intell. In short they wanted to know why classified information was opened and for what reason. He knew once he reported back they would want Commander Wolf shipped off to them. He was not to happy about that idea either. Intell was not a pleasnant place to be debriefed.
"Tapping his combadge Doctor Grey please join me in my office for a moment"
a minute later she was in his office and taking a seat he looked up into her eyes and got the feeling that everything would be alright. Thinking to him self its what makes her a good doctor that calming effect.
" First off your doing a great job as acting XO just want you to know that. You haven't crashed the ship or scratched the paint just a little humor there. But you are doing a great job especialy with our new guest. You are right about the uniform more so then you know Commander I have spent a great deal of my career in that uniform and i"m not proud of it. I have done things that could be seen as a violation of the prime directive all in the name of the saftey of the federation"
" I'm concerned that we might have a intell officer who's jobs it is to gather intell from the future and return to her own time line. I'm hoping against hope that this is not the case, its just her reaction is sending alarms off in my head. She didn't respond the way somebody might have when they realize everybody they know is since long dead. Doc I'm going to need your to help me decided what type of person she is and what her motives are." <Tag Grey>
" As you can see I"m stuck between a rock and a hard place right now. I'ev already gotten a call from Star Fleet intell about our recent record search asking what we want. I haven't responded yet not until I know more. If Commander Wolf is just somebody who got stuck doing a mission for intell then I don't want throw her to the wolves so to speak. If she is then I want to make sure she can't make it back to her own time line with any info that could change the time line. I'm personally hoping she just got dragged in against her will which I know does happen from time to time as you your self should know already" <Tag Grey>

Sharon leaned back and watched the commander, her red hair lose and went over her shoulders and down her back, she knew she was a mess from everything that has happened then the Commander spoke.
"Well yes Intel is just about how you remember them from your time. You said you jumped into something like a Guardian of forever, we have no recorded of your encounter with one." Jon was holding back more so he followed his Commanding officers standing orders. "Do you real exactly what the guardian said to you?"
"Yes, it said that I would not be changing history at the point where I jumped. I had the thought that the possibility stood that by me jumping, I was not sure when or where I was jumping to or would it have an affect on history." Sharon stated.
<Jon>
"I need a favor, I don't think the doctor wants me walking without help, and I need to go to the head." Sharon said her cheeks reddening.
<Jon>
Jon helped her with her balance and walked her where she needed to go in sickbay, he waited outside while Sharon went inside, she did what she had to do and slowly stood up. "Commander, please come in, the door isn't locked, the room is spinning a little."
<Jon>
He helped her back to bed, Sharon got under the covers and got comfortable. "I know you cannot tell me about the future, but I don't see any harm in you telling me about yourself." Sharon said giving him a smile.

"Yes, it said that I would not be changing history at the point where I jumped. I had the thought that the possibility stood that by me jumping, I was not sure when or where I was jumping to or would it have an affect on history."
Jon smiled and understood and again without breaking Runningwolf's standing order Jon said, "From what we have seen from the guardian if it said history wouldn't be affected then this maybe permanent." Jon trialled off on that last part but he thinks she might haver heard him.
"I need a favor, I don't think the doctor wants me walking without help, and I need to go to the head."
Jon saw her cheeks go red but he understood, Jon helped her off the bed and walked her to the head as she leaned on him for support, As they passed his mother she looked with consern but Jon gave her that look. ~I got her but thanks~. Jon helped her into the head and then stepped out to give her the respect she deserved.
"Commander, please come in, the door isn't locked, the room is spinning a little."
Jon entered and rushed to her and graped her just before her knees went on her. Jon supported her until she was able to stand and her went and took her back to the Bio-Bed.
"I know you cannot tell me about the future, but I don't see any harm in you telling me about yourself." Sharon said giving him a smile. Jon thought about it a moment and figured she was right if he kept things about his past that could change in her time.
"Well i was always a kid who would defend his friends, once in grade school a butch of kids were attacking a friend who wasn't mine at the time. His name is Paul Marcus, Now we were young about 12 years old. We became fast friends and when we both applied to starfleet we were both accepted."
Jon watched as she listened with alot of interest. "When i was in starfleet prep school a bunch of rouge Klingon's kidnapped my sister, but myself and Paul went after her and stowed away on the ship. After we attack and freed my sister we were able to contact a Starship to assist us."
Jon finished telling her that part and said. "Thats enough for now Commander, I have a few things to do. I have about 10 hours till i am officially on duty."

"Thank you, sir," Seth said softly, unable to hide the surprise evident in his voice. He turned from his vantage point to look at the first officer. "Commander. This ship has become important to me. Just as I did not hesitate in putting myself on the line in the search for your father..." He paused. "Your help is appreciated, sir. And it may sound corny, but I have found recently that I hold similar values with this ship just as I would back at home. The Nevada and her crew are family, sir."
<tag Park, if you want>
Without a further word except a nod and salute of acknowledgment, Seth stepped past Park and exited the FO's office. Preoccupied as he was, a part of Seth was caught up thinking what the Commander could've been doing in his office, when he was supposed to be on allocated leave. There were less than thirty hours left of it. In other words, he was not yet half way through. Time moved quickly though, he'd have to manage it well if he was going to explore the cave like he intended to.
Looping the rope back around, Seth fixed the pulley into the rock face and for a second released his hands, testing his weight and making sure he was secure. If there was just a bit of give, then he'd have to reset the harness. Again, the safeties would save him from the fall, but Seth wanted an authentic experience; and if he were on a real climb, there would be no transparent barrier to circumvent the fate of ultimate gravity, no pun intended.
The rope's fix into the wall took his full weight, allowing him to place his trust in physics. Slowly his fingers worked the rope and he lowered himself into the abyss...
It did seem as if the cave was infinite in its depth, no end to the blackness. It pressed in around him and the approximate circle of white that was the cave's entrance shrunk away above him, 'til it was big enough just to provide a piercingly thin ray of light in the black, cavernous space.
After having stopped for a while, Seth kicked himself off again by releasing the catch on the rope - just enough so that he'd resume a gradual drop to the anti-zenith. In an unfortunate circumstance, his foot hit on an unseen outjutting of rock that was just below him - impossible to see in this darkness. He lost his balance somehow and was nearly tipped upside down.
"Damn it," he cursed. Bits of equipment fell from him, releasing themselves from the Wezean's utility belt and dropping away fast. Seth didn't hear them strike the bottom. Quickly he righted himself and secured the catch, holding it tight and putting the redundant lock on in a little bit of a panic. Looking around wild-eyed in the darkness, he looked for another place he could attach a rope, one couldn't be too careful in this situation.
=/\=Hasak to Helacaan. Seth are you there?=/\= Fortunately or unfortunately, however he looked upon it, the comm had interrupted him. Impatiently, he slapped a hand at his commbadge
=/\=Yes I'm here...=/\=
=/\=Sir?=/\=
=/\=I'm fine!=/\=
=/\=Yes, sir.=/\= Hasak replied, unconvinced. =/\=Sir, can you come to the bridge. It's important.=/\= Seth sighed as the channel closed, patting his leg in frustration as well a little bit of relief that nothing bad had happened. He thought of what Runningwolf had said about the holodecks offering "more in the way of climbing and caving", and wondered if the Colonel knew that one of the caves had no bottom. Laughing at himself, Seth looked up to the hole of light in the cavern's roof, deciding if it was worth making the ascent or not. - TBC

Sharon nodded in understanding, she knew he had to get some rest before going on duty again she sat up and kissed him on the cheek.
"Thank you for saving my life, lets hope the Captain can keep me out of intels clutches." Sharon said with a smile.
<Jon>
Sharon watched him go, and sighed. She laid back and was about to close her eyes when the nurse came up. "If you need anything just holler, I'll turn the lights down for you so you can sleep." She said.
"Thank you." Sharon said.
The nurse turned the lights down and Sharon closed her eyes and fell asleep, she dreamed of the challenger and the friends she had made there, she missed her family and her cat boots that she will never see again. She started crying quietly as she thought about the past and everything she has to move on past, including her parens, who must be worried sick about her.

|Captain's ready room
At the colonel's request, Lucy vacated the Center Chair once more, allowing Cmdr. Reylf to move into it. Once inside the ready room, Lt. Cmdr. Grey sat, crossed one knee over the other and relaxed while the CO voiced his concerns.
"I'm concerned that we might have a intell officer who's jobs it is to gather intell from the future and return to her own time line. I'm hoping against hope that this is not the case, its just her reaction is sending alarms off in my head. She didn't respond the way somebody might have when they realize everybody they know is since long dead. Doc I'm going to need your to help me decided what type of person she is and what her motives are."
"Understood, Colonel. From the preliminary reports, she's in excellent health. Medical scans show two cracked ribs that healed with minimal calcium deposits. No other injuries visible." Lucy paused, placing her fingertips together against her lips. Her imagination had run a little wild after seeing the Intel colors but she had no real facts to go on. Then, in a decisive gesture, she uncrossed her legs and commented, "Sir, without concrete evidence that she is Sharon Wolf, a commander in Starfleet, I think we should treat her as an intruder onboard the ship."
"As you can see I"m stuck between a rock and a hard place right now. I've already gotten a call from Star Fleet intell about our recent record search asking what we want. I haven't responded yet not until I know more. If Commander Wolf is just somebody who got stuck doing a mission for intell then I don't want throw her to the wolves so to speak. I'm personally hoping she just got dragged in against her will which I know does happen from time to time as you your self should know already"
Nodding, Lucy said, "We're over 200 years into her future. There's no way for us to know what kind of intel she could take back that would be of benefit to anyone. I would imagine not very much. She'd have to have access to the entire computer system and it's changed since she learned it. She has no security clearance, is confined to sickbay..." Lucy paused again.
She'd gone off with her own thoughts on the matter and realized she hadn't really responded to his.
"Sir, if she is going back to her own time, it won't be for another five days at least. It'll take that long for us to determine if she poses a threat to this timeline. If she came through time at all. I'm not convinced she did. I'm also not sure she's Starfleet. There are no signs that she suffered a traumatic event. Not physiologically, that is."
<TAG: Runningwolf>
"I have my people investigating, sir. Going out on a limb, I'll venture to say that I'll have something concrete for you by 1800 hours."
The words went from her subconscious past the pons and out her voicebox before she could wrest them to the ground. Once said, they wouldn't come back. So now she had to have "something concrete" by that evening.
<TAG: Runningwolf>
"If you'll excuse me, I'll get right on that." Standing, Lucy turned to leave then turned back, saying, "Just because she somehow secured a black ops collar doesn't mean she earned it."

Looking at Doc Grey he smiled a little he was impressed that she was taking this job seriously which made him smile. It would be a learning thing for both of them working on this issue, still he didn't want to treat commander wolf as an intruder just yet.
"Doc I understand your reasoning for wanting to treat the Commander as an truder but I don't think we have reached that point yet. She's in sick bay and by your accounts of her medical condition she's not much of a threat yet"
"Also you are quite right about the computer system and her clearance but lets look at it from another point. The libarary on this ship is public knowledge and can be accessed by any one. All a person would need to do is ask the computer, all she needs is a history of what happened and what took place after they day she left her time line. Think about just a year or two past her current year she would learn out come of battles inventions. She doesn't need out technology just thing that will be invented in her's and by who there out of date she could down load plans and take them back and invent them her self years before they happend''
" Still I'm enclineded to believe she's wearing that uniform against her will, can't put my finger on it but I believe thats the case. Just like you were pulled into there service against yours for me it I had a choice and dumb enought to accept. I hope you are right and she didn't earn that black collar she was wearing. You also have a point about proving who she is, I will leave that to you"
" Your orders number 1 are to confirm or denie her identy, give me a working mental profile and see if you can find any living family members who might confirm wolf is who she says she is also you might want to run a deep imaging scan for anything out of place. Intell officer's some times have locators or storage devices hidden inside there body. " chuckling alittle " With that being said I might have you remove some things from me one day. I'm going to pay our Ms. wolf a visit and see what I can learn from her was well" <Tag Grey>
Tapping his combadge " Mr. Park by my count you have 10 hours lefts I'm reducing that to 8 hours I want a up date on Mr. Seth when you return to duty. Aslo I want computer lock outs on all information that is not accessed by a member of our crew. I do not need anybody decideding to read a history book I will be in sick bay if you need me"
a few minutes later he was entering sick bay the lights were dimed. He saw the nures and put her at easy turn to face her " I dont want to be distrubed while I talk to commander wolf"
Walking over to where she was resting " Sorry to wake you Commander but you seem to be the center of attention right now by my crew and star fleet intell. I haven't updated them yet and what I do tell them will depend on what you tell me. You know that uniform you were wearing hasn't changed much at all I have spent over half my career in one."
" Then I got lucky and found a captain who pulled me out and showed me what star fleet was really about. The chances of you going home again are very slim star fleet does not like messing with the time line for any reason. So it would be fair to say your stuck her the question is what are we going to do with you now ship you off to star fleet intell or find a reason to keep you out of there reach. The advantage of being a former intell officer is I now where all the body's are buried so to speak. You have to let me know what it is you want and convince me you are for real" <Tag Wolf>

Sharon was sleeping off her cry, she had wiped her face with the sheet and was resting but not as comfortably as she would have thought and it was probably because she was tired but not sleepy. The Colonel came in and spoke.
" Sorry to wake you Commander but you seem to be the center of attention right now by my crew and star fleet intell.
You have to let me know what it is you want and convince me you are for real"
Sharon opened her eyes andlooked at the Colonel and pushed back the covers some. "Colonel, I was never an intel officer nor had any inclination as to being one, i was basically drafted into helping them on a mission to explore a world that was causing problems with space. The team and I took a shuttle down to the planet and while checking a object the team was attacked by Klingons, with the exception of myself, everyone else was killed. I had to options, either let the klingons capture me, and god only knows what would have happened to me, or jump into this , for lack of a better term, time machine, I jumped. I do not want to go to intel, I wou;d just assume to remain here, Commander Park said I'm 236 years into the future, it would be highly unlikely that a family member who would recognize me would be alive. I had one brother and one sister, my mom could not have any more children after my sister." Sharon said in honesty.
<Runningwolf>
"I don't know how to prove who I'am Colonel, but I miss my cat boots and my family but I also have to face facts, I'm stuck here without a way back and if you want to ship me off to Intel be my guest, I will never trust you again if you do so. I remain here and you have a place for me, even though I outrank you, it doesn't matter, you are the Commanding Officer, and I will serve the ship in anyway you seem fit. I may have to be trained on what has changed in that time, but believe me I miss my time period and my family but if I cannot go back I will stay here." Sharon stated as a matter of fact.

"Thank you for saving my life, lets hope the Captain can keep me out of intel's clutches."
Jon smiled and replied "I will endever to stop that. I will talk to the Colonel in the morning." Jon went and kissed her on the cheek and headed out for bed. "Computer wake me up at 0630." Jon said when he entered his Quaters.
Jon woke up at 0615 and got up,He was glad he would be back on offical duty as of 0700. Jon went to the bridge. The helm officer was sitting in the Command Chair, "Lt.Mortan how is the big chair?" Lt.Mortan jumped from the command chair. "Commander sir, I thought you were still on R & R?"
Commander Park smiled as he moved the side of the Command Chair, "I still am Mr.Mortan, you may stay in the Command Chair." Jom said but added. "Only for about 30 more mins, Is the Colonel in his Ready Room." Lt.Mortan looked around at a few crewmen ."Sorry sir i don't know." Jon nodded and headed to the Ready Room, He pressed the Chime and heard from inside "Enter."
Commander Park entered and stood "Colonel I am ready to resume my duties." Jon said. "I felt we should have a little time to talk and get me back up to speed." Jon was going to inform him of what Mrs.Wolf said to him and let him know we shouldn't give her to intel."
<Tag Runningwolf>
"Sir i have had a chance to speck with her and she keeps telling me she isn't a member of the intel section and from what i saw from her service record she wasn't. I doubt she would go from serving as Armory officer to Intel officer, She doesn't strike me as that type." Jon said. He had a gut instinct she was a true starfleet officer. Maybe it was becuse the Armory postion evolved to the current postion of CSTO, well the Tactical side of it anyway.

After 4 hours in front of a computer, Dunowin decided that he had done all he could. While Starfleet did update it's ships, the medical records for back in Commander Wolfs days simply weren't available. He had found several articles mentioning her by name that corresponded to mission from her vessel but that was all. The only information that he was able to obtain was that of all of her deceased relatives. There were absolutely no other members of her family out there.
"Wow. I couldn't even imagine that." he mumbled. Though he discovered that it was little more loudly than he intended when an ensign just off to his left responded.
"Sir?" she asked.
"Uh? Oh nothing. Sorry. I was just talking to myself." he replied.
As he began putting his report together for the doctor, he thought about his own family whom he hadn't seen since joining Starfleet.
He loaded everything onto a PADD and headed for sickbay. He wasn't sure if Commander Grey was there or on the bridge but it seemed like a good place to start. He quickly discovered that it was the wrong choice when he entered, asked for her and was told that she was on the bridge. He made his way there.
As the lift doors opened, he saw her once again occupying the center seat.
"Commander Grey." he said as he approached. "My findings on Commander Wolf, Ma'am."
(Basically says the same as above. I'll do more when I'm back @ 100% Need sleep for now.)

He listened to what she had to say and for once he felt real emotion coming from her. He kept this thoughts to himself until her identity could be confirmed. Still this thing about rank was starting to get on his nevers just a little, but she was right they really didn't have Marines in her time line like they do now.
" Commander I'm not going to sit her and tell you I know how you feel. Don't get me wrong I have lost family and friends but never all at once. I can't imagen what you must be feeling right nore would I want to try. If you check out and we can prove you are who you say you are please be understading on that issue. Records from that time period are not always easy to find. So when we confirm everything then we will sit down and see if your ready for the challenge off playing catch up. Technology has changed alot tatics haven't changed so much if anything you would be a great asset todays crew rely on technology not so much on tatics."
" We will futher our discussion after we get confirmation if you check out and you want to stay I'll pull a few strings to make it happen. I will make a suggestion in the mean time I would brush up on star fleet rank structure alot has changed since your day Commander. In this time period I out rank you and my rank is equal to a captain. There will be alot of things to catch up on but somehow I think you will get into the flow of things quickly. We are a family on this ship and thats they way I would like to keep it."<Tag Wolf>
Leaving sick bay he went back to the bridge and his office no sooner had he taken his seat when his first office appeared. He didn't need to guess what the topic of conversation would be Commander Wolf he sat down and let his number one speak after he was finished he colleceted his thoughts.
"Commander I too have spoken to Commander wolf if she checks out then we will see about giving her a home on the Nevada. As of right now Doctor Grey is in charge of proving she is who she claims to be. As for intell Commander you have a lot to learn and I would ask you to remember the events with your father. Intell are good at there job while I agree Wolf doesn't seem to be one I have and will not rule out that until Doctor Grey is done and I confirm a few things through some friends just to be on the safe side."
" Since we are the subject of Commander Wolf I would advise you up date her on Star Fleet rank structure. I don't take to kindly to Commmanders telling me they out rank me call it a pet pea I'v worked hard to get this silver bird on my collar. She is still confined to sick bay until Doctor grey gives the all clear not just because of the security issues she has medical concerns as well she took a hard fall"<Tag Park>
" Now lastly seems to me alot of focus has been placed on wolf and that Mr. Seth has fallen to the back burner. Your the XO every crew memeber is your responsability so while your dealing with wolf don't forget about everybody else Mr. park now if you excuse me I have a few calls to make to clear up a few things is she checks out you can offer her a job if she doesn't you will be escorting her off my ship" <Tag Park>

Jon nodded and added. "I think she would after hitting a tree, she did jump threw a guardian, As for the issue of your rank i know how hard you worked as we all did to get our ranks,I will work with her sir. When and if you give me the OK i will also get her up to speed on everything else, but only on your orders."
Jon hoped it would be a go and a go soon, Jon listened about Runningwolf and Seth, "Well sir no i haven't forgot about Lt.Helacaan problem, However there is nothing i can do until we get to starbase.I used all my influence to get it withheld but Ensign Borgus got it filed just before he left."
<Tag Runningwolf>
Jon listened to his solution but as he knew he would have to take it to the Command staff on the Starbase. "I will be in sickbay talking with Commander Wolf and Doctor Grey. I think i should thank her for taking over for me in the last 48 hours." Jon was thinking about doing some shifts in sickbay,but with limited medical knowledge he wouldn't be much help.
Heading out of the Ready Room he went to the computer that was open. "Computer download Chain of command chart show the difference's with Marines and the Starfleet Command Chain of command." Jon said. The Computer beeped. Download finished into Padd one. Jon headed to turbolift. "Sickbay."
Jon got off the lift and headed into the main sickbay, looking around he was his mothers bed was empty and said to a passing nurse. "Where is Commander Park?" The nurse looked at him, "She was realised to guest Quarters." Jon nodded and headed to the section that they made for Commander Wolf, all he had to do was walk past a privacy screen. "Commander Wolf, are you awake?"
<Tag Wolf>
"Commander i have download the New Chain of Command, things have changed since your time...." Jon stopped and realized what he just said. "Sorry Commander i know that this is hard and i want to help.

Jon nodded and took a chair and sat down. "Do you have any Question about the Padd? Jon wanted to make it easier for her no matter what the outcome will be.

Seth had been heading straight for the bridge, until he'd realised he wasn't supposed to be there yet. Instead he arranged to meet Hasak outside of the latter's working office. He found Hasak inside, sitting at his workdesk with a somewhat concerned look on his face. That was, if it was possible to tell a look of concern on a Benzite. The COO had shut the holoprogram straight away - without climbing back up again - in order that he could be here, so it had better be good.
"We have a problem," Hasak reported, his eyes meeting Helacaan's, "Or rather, two problems."
"Perhaps give me the worst first," Seth requested. "I like to finish conversations on a high note."
"Very well," Hasak commented. "Of course, it's subjective which is worse, but from your point of view I think this one is less favourable." The Ops assistant worked his desk display, calling up the appropriate page of data. "We have a priority message from Starfleet HQ for the sector. I took it on the bridge and notified the acting first officer, of course I had to come here to tell you."
Seth's muscles tensed, became twitchy... Instantly he was nervous, it was obvious what this was about. Hasak looked at him, he was also pointing at his display for some reason. "Sorry to say, sir, but following what our former CTSO reported to the Sector HQ, the Starfleet judicial branch in this sector are calling a preliminary hearing."
Seth's heart proverbially sunk. So it was happening, he was going to be prosecuted, or at least investigated, for his 'incident' with Crewman Abbey. "What else does it say?" His voice was barely audible.
"Not much, to be blunt, they say it's a serious matter. They know they don't have the full facts. They..um, say that all the usual consequences are still possible, court martial included. Proceedings will begin when we reach Starbase Assailant, they're fully equipped."
It was bad, Seth admitted to himself. Nothing small whatsoever. "Just the preliminary hearing though?" he questioned, "It's not that bad, yet, isn't it?" Hasak's eyes rose from the screen to Seth's, he was blinking slowly. "What? When I first confided in you with this, you always told me things would come out fine. So you were just trying to make me feel better as well."
Hasak paused, in the end nodding minutely and returning his sight to the screen. "It's true, Seth. It is just the preliminary hearing. But I'll tell you now if I didn't tell you before, there is a real possibility this could go all the way. I can't rule out a.. court martial." Hasak turned off the display and steepled his fingers, his eyes resting almost as if he was falling into a meditatory sleep. Seth couldn't blame him if he was contemplating recent events.
"Hasak." The Benzite reawoke, looking as if he'd been in a deep coma. "You said there were two problems," Seth stated as his assistant turned to him.
"Yes, indeed..." Quickly Hasak reactivated the display, getting it to show a schematic of the Nevada. He extended a blue/grey finger, hovering it over the the warp nacelles and engineering section. "We have intruders."

Dr. Grey felt the full weight of command as she sat once again in the Center Chair. She was depending on CEO Dunowin and Dr. Story to get her the information she needed to validate the identity of the red-haired woman in sickbay. That information was coming through on the XO’s secure channel as soon as she keyed in her temporary codes.
She was also getting reports about Seth and some incident with a crew member. The entire report was somewhat cryptic in her view.
One bright point of the day was the Commanding Officer’s approval of the way she was handling being on the bridge. A small grin creased her lips. Maybe one day it would be a permanent position.
|Sickbay
After introducing herself, Dr. Story stood next to Cmdr. Wolf’s bedside fingering the small computer display there. Partial sentences scrolled by slowly. They confirmed that a Cmdr. Sharon Wolf had graduated Starfleet Academy. Preliminary investigation established a DNA, eye scan and fingerprint match. Lisa nodded several times in Sharon’s direction. Should I be thinking of her in such a personal manner? Lisa asked herself. Once more she agreed with herself. Of course, I should. We’re getting into the psyche eval phase next.
“Cmdr.... Sharon, how do you feel about suddenly being so far from home? I mean, time-wise.”
<TAG: Wolf>
“It’s natural to feel sad about the loss of loved ones.” Lisa frowned, her eyes watching the commander’s reaction carefully as she asked the next question. “You don’t seem very upset about being in the 24th century. Or are you just very good at hiding your emotions?” Dr. Story’s eyebrow went up as she finished speaking. It was not the question she’d intended to ask but it seemed appropriate somehow.

Sharon nodded to the colonel as he left, she had alot to learn about the 24th century, she knew that she upset him, it was obvious from his eyes that the rank thing bugged him, maybe she was wrong and he did outrank her, if so she owed the colonel an apology. sharon had just closed her eyes when the first officer came in.
"No, I'm just a bit tired but will live I suppose." Sharon stated with a smile.
The first officer handed her a padd and told her this was the current rank system, her eyes went quickly down the padd and found she had been mistaken, Colonel in the marines was the equivelent of a Captain.
"Commander, I owe the Colonel a apology, back in my time,marines were macos, they did not outrank anyone commander and above, seems that has changed, the Colonel seems a good man and if I'm going to remain here and theres any chance I can be trained in this centuries version of what I was, I will work my rear off for that man." Sharon said with a smile.
<Jon>
Jon soon left leaving her with the padd then the Doctor came in and brought in a computer, Sharon sat up and crossed her legs sitting indian style
“Cmdr.... Sharon, how do you feel about suddenly being so far from home? I mean, time-wise.”
"I miss home, your my time, I miss my cat and my parents, I have never been married, Boots, my cat was my only child you might say." Sharon said wiping at her face.
Sharon looked between the Doctors noticing the others reaction to Doctor Greys question. "Doctor, I was thrown into a mission that I had no choice but to go on, to a planet I had never heard of that because of time displacement, intel could not figure that out. I think the line, "It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure that out," comes to mind. I knew it was in all likelyhood a oneway mission, because if somehow word got out about this doorway into the past, present or future was discovered, think of what would happen if it fell into the wrong hands. I knew that once the mission was over, I would most likely disappear, but the klingons changed that by killing the team. Yes I'm not happy about being stuck in the 24th century but its a whole lot better then if I had remained." Sharon said.

He listened to his first officer report on Lt Seth he was still a little loss because nobody had detailed what the incident was. He knew he was going to have to talk to seth soon very soon reports being filed with out his knowledge or his xo was not going to go over well with star fleet command.
Then there was the issue of Commander Wolf he knew his staff would solve that problem soon. He hoped for Commander Wolf sake it came out positive and not the other way around. He sat down at his desk as Mr. Park left to talk to Commander Wolf again, he knew the rank thing was small but it wasn't very often Marines got a command and that was not her fault either.
He had paper work to file and he needed to put a entery into Doctor Greys record commending her on the outstanding job she was doing as acting Xo. Still it was good to have his permantent one back.
He opened his computer terminal and got to work on the paper work that never seemed to end. He had a message from star base ordering them to report in and change course for a hearing on Mr. Seth he head was realy starting to hurt. He opened a com channel to his operations officer " Mr. Seth please report to my ready room on the double"
All of a sudden the internal senors went off again screaming they hand intruders aboard. Automaticaly he Called for red alter " All hands report to battle stations sections chiefs secure your departments, Security we have unwanted guest aboard please secure them. Commander Park assit the security detail" <Tag all>

Seth grimaced upon being presented with the evidence. That particular area of the ship was heavily shielded by the warp plasma grids and matrices. As a result, the internal sensors' detection of intruders could occasionally be hampered.
"The irregularities in the power matrix confirmed it," Hasak explained. "When they got in there... however they got in there, two of them were caught in the conduit's matter stream. It caused a fluctuation in the flux of the plasma, which only corrected itself once their vaporisation was complete."
"Lovely," Seth grimaced again. "What are they doing now?"
"Hmm," Hasak shook his head; Seth got the impression it was hard to tell from his limited office display. "It looks like they're just sitting there," he reported.
"Biding their time maybe?"
"Perhaps."
Seth scratched his chin, his impending preliminary hearing had, for the time being, been forgotten. He had to wonder why these intruders hadn't been detected before, but Hasak had already said that near engineering it would be hard to pick them up, what with engineering being virtually next to the PTCs. "So you're sure now?" he asked Hasak, who confirmed it.
" Mr. Seth please report to my ready room on the double"
"Aye sir," Seth replied, caught off guard a little at this sudden call from Runningwolf. He pointed to Hasak, nodding, "Give the signal," he said, then turned his back in a pivot and briskly walked from the office. As he did so, intruder alert claxons started going off.
"Colonel, I suppose you're wondering about the intruders," Seth said into his commbadge en route. He explained all that Hasak had told him, then, once he'd reached the Colonel's ready room said, "They're Orions, sir." He placed a PADD on Runningwolf's desk, it detailing the biological scans that Hasak had managed to get meaningful information from.
"I'm afraid I have no idea how they came aboard, sir. It obviously happened while we were in the Taris system. But when exactly... I do not know."
<tag Runningwolf>
While the Colonel seemed very interested and doubly as concerned about this, he was also watching Seth. He looked at the COO with a measure of mystification, and with perhaps some hidden anger; it seemed as if he was trying to calculate something, discover something in Seth that he couldn't see on the surface. The Wezean had half an idea for the reasons behind the Colonel's search. He was well aware of his own issues.
"That wasn't the reason you called me of course, sir," he said, "The intruder alert occurred after your call, so, what else did you want to talk about?" Seth asked the question although, in truth, he knew exactly why the Colonel had called.
