.:.U.S.S. Titan/Bridge.:.
James sat in the center seat of the Luna class ship. The Gamma shift was on duty, and he had taken double duty since he was unable to sleep. Thoughts of what the Admiral had told him continued to run rampant in his mind. He couldn't possibly spy on his commanding officer, someone who he had come to respect greatly.
He watched as the ship's bridge quieted down, they wouldn't be leaving until tomorrow afternoon anyway. This was their last night in orbit as the helmsmen in front of him had nothing else better to do but sit there and watch the console.
----------------------------
Jim paced around inside his quarters double and triple checking his weapons and listening devices that he'd yet to plant around the ship. Everything seemed in order all he had to do was bug Park's quarters and office. He knew the man's routine he had studied it. He was also armed to the teeth with a vast assortment of weaponry and poisons.
Jim didn't know exactly where the ship was heading nor did he care. His mission was simple, kill Park and get off the ship via a shuttle in the bay. From there it was a ride to Bajor where his client was to pick up the rest of the money.
In fact Jim was even prepared if the client decided to try and kill him instead of giving him payment. It was well known that nobody tried this on Jim, but you never could be too careful. He had, after all, a reputation for killing the client and taking the funds from their corpse. Some said this was bad for business of course he would have to disagree.

Seth stood with his forehead pressed to the window of the mess hall portal. A cup of Wezean coffee was in his right hand and in the other was a tricorder. He sipped at the coffee and let his left arm hang loose at his side. These readings might have been no problem for him under normal conditions, but some mental block had decided to lower itself.
He felt uncomfortable on the Titan. To have moved to a new starship after so long had jarred his sense of home, something he'd worked hard to cultivate on the Nevada. Leaving his original true home had been difficult enough. Still, it was all the same people, he supposed. Perhaps this was more akin to a holiday. No. It's an assignment, you fool.
Walking to the mess hall counter, he placed his empty coffee mug down. "Here we are," he muttered.
The bartender took his empty cup with a grin and threw it in the replicator. The mess staff had been kept the same over the crew transfer. "Would you like another?"
Seth weighed up the options, but decided to leave the mess with a simple thanks.
The Titan's engineering shone bright before him; the warp core pulsated with a strange rhythm that spoke of modernity and excellence. It was quite an unexpected contrast with the Nevada. "Chief Dunowin?" he inquired of an Ensign, who pointed to a man stooped over a large console.
"Commander?" he said, almost feeling as if he'd snuck up on the CEO. He chuckled, "How are you finding this place? Everything seems... new." Of course, the ship was over ten years old.
<tag Dunowin>
Glinn Butast's quarters, the Locust
"Glinn Butast."
The Cardassian diplomatic officer whirled around to face the doorway. Two Alliance security guards stood there, one with a disruptor in his hand and the other with a pair of bonds. "What is the meaning of this?" Butast boomed.
The guard with the disruptor spoke through gritted teeth, "Our apologies, Glinn, but you'll have to come with us. Gul Freat has ordered your arrest. You're to be placed in the brig, where you'll remain until a decision is made."
"When was this?" Butast lowered his head, closing his eyes and subtly slipping his datapad into his trousers. "What have I done exactly?"
The Cardassians entered his quarters and locked him in the bonds. "The Gul contacted the ship by subspace an hour ago," one said quietly over his shoulder. "Traitor." He felt the guard's spit trickle down the back of his neck.
Karmelo had occupied the mission ops station on the Locust's bridge, and had busied himself learning the manner of its operation. "Surface scanning sensors operational," he nodded to Meylor Paht across the bridge, and worked the console again. As he did so a Terran entered and headed straight for him. The Terran spoke urgently in Karmelo's ear, and then they both left the bridge.
What's he got himself into now? Karmelo thought.

Captain Park walked the halls and got use to the layout of the Titan, It was supprizing the Starfleet only gave then Temporary command if the Luna Class starship. Park was thinking of asking starfleet to make it his Next command.
Park turned and entered Main enginnering, walking the deck he saw his crew and some of the Titan's crew who were placed under his command, they knew the ship better then he did so he wasn't upset having more crew then normal.
Park was sure this mission was nothing more then a standered transport mission and would be back on the Nevada in no time.
--------------------------------------------------------------------
Mirror universe
"Captain" Park was on the Bridge of the Locust and saw the starbase enter visual range of the Locust. Park stood and moved to the console near the turbolift. "All hands this is the Captain, All crew set for mission "relocate." Report to transporter room 2. My team report to starbase transporter room 4."
Park was there before anyone else and had set the crossover device to send them to the Nevada directly. he knew they had only a short time after transport to get the ship out of were it was docked. Park watched as his team arrived and he handed them the most current Starfleet uniform that there Spys in the ather reality have sent back to them.
"All of you have your assinment, when we arrive on the Nevada we have 25 seconds to get the ship secured, and then luanch her." Park steeped on the the transporter "Activate the transporter."
Park and the team disolved and the mission truely begain...........

John sat in the new sickbay on the Titan, everything was just *wrong* he missed Holi, and the BT. But none the less, it had to be. He sat there looking over his PADD, at his crew specs.
He was happy, things were going well; sort of. He looked over his shoulder at the Sickbay, and sighed. "This isn't home" he mumbled to himself.
A Nurse came into his office and he looked up and smiled "Yes Nurse?"
She smiled back at him "The samples from the Nevada are being beamed over to the Cargobay now Doctor; shall I have them beamed here for you?"
He nodded "Please; i need to check the integrity of the samples, ensure none has escaped; we wouldn't want some hemorrhagic fever loose on board this ship now would we?"
She nodded and quickly left, eager to please her new CMO.
He looked down at this to do list, it was growing by the minute. As CMO it was his responsibility to ensure the crew were in fit working order .....
Physicals.
The word that every starfleet officer dreaded to hear. "Start at the top then" He tapped his combadge
=/\="Dr Storey to Captain Park; please report to sickbay"=/\

"Commander how are things coming along down here?"
Dun looked up from his seat to find the XO standing in the door way.
"Quite a bit different from the Nevada, sir." he replied with a smile. "Things on this ship almost seem to run themselves."
He reached to the side of the desk he was sitting at and retrieved a PADD. He than extended it to Cohen.
"Lt Shaw has reported that everything that we were transferring from the Nevada has been beamed over. Engineering is up and ready to go, sir." he reported.

John stood up and moved to the sickbay area; examining his instruments. He hummed to himself an ancient earth classical piece "Hall Of The Mountain King" as he made sure everything was in order.
He turned around as the doors swished open,
"Reporting as ordered." The captain spoke.
John smiled, and nodded towards the BioBed. "Anything you need to tell me before i start scanning?"

So far, the relocated crew's transport operation had passed entirely by routine, and it seemed more or less certain that it would continue this way. Even though their cargo was vaguely interesting experimental weaponry (or some such) it seemed a slight insult that their shore leave had been cut short just to ferry a few goods, while the Titan's actual crew lounged about on Starbase.
The ship's high cruise speed - in comparison to the Nevada - meant they were making excellent time for Fortina IV and the Starfleet installation who were in desperate need of their supplies, as well as whatever other sensitive things the Luna class ship was carrying in its modern belly. Seth looked to the command arena and saw that the Captain was currently off the bridge. It was Commander Cohen who was sat in the command chair. Besides the XO and Seth himself there were only three other people on the bridge.
There was a slight perturbation in the Titan's warp bubble for a miniscule fraction of a second. Seth found himself gripping the edge of the console; the ramifications of what the slight wobble meant were working their way to his console.
"Commander Cohen. We're losing containment of one of the weapons!" The magnetic field surrounding one of the mysterious offensive devices they were transporting was failing. "I have no idea what might happen if it strikes the side of its storage pod, sir."
<Tag Cohen>
Karmelo headed to the transporter room. He was one of two senior members of the second team. Park had taken the primary team and had already transported to the Nevada. The Wezean made one last check with the Locust's bridge on the status of their quarry, also wanting to see if there had been any immediate reaction from the Starbase to Park's team's beaming aboard the Nevada. As far as they could discern, there was none at all.
He scampered to the pad while Meylor Paht had the Terrans, other subjects of the alliance and assorted mercenaries draw their weapons. This was a strange realm; although Karmelo felt no different, he knew they couldn't take their chances - transporting blind across several million kilometres on to a mirror universe Starbase. He and Meylor regarded each other and simultaneously said, "Energise."
The Nevada was indeed completely empty. Helacaan and the secondary team quickly spread through the middle decks, as well as the areas around engineering to the aft. Not twenty seconds after their arrival, alarms started blaring. Karmelo looked down the corridor at Meylor; both of them had suddenly froze. "Park." Karmelo said brusquely through his newly replicated communicator, "We have secured the lower decks. We need to go now, I assume sir?"

Park sat on the Bio-bed as the doctor scanned him. "So doctor am i alive?" Park joked he knew he always hated sickbay and avoided it at all cost's. "Doctor i need to finish a ton of paper work to finish and i need to finish reading the reports from the ship work back at the spacedock."

"Captain" Park tapped the communicator he had on his chest. "Yes i know, What is the status of the Warp core?"
<Tag Dun>
Park sat in the Command chair as they broke out of the drydock. "Set course for Theloc Prime" Park said as he felt the ship move out and headed to the Theloc system. -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Park sat on the bridge of the Titan and saw the shuttle leave the shuttle bay. Inside was Commander Cohan heading to a top secret assignment he had received late last night. Park turned and said "helm resume course. Engage warp."
Park felt the ship turn and headed to the Ready Room and entered and sat at the deck "Park to Engineering, Commander Dunowin please come to the Ready Room."

With the near-disaster of the loss of weapon containment averted, Seth had taken some time off-duty. Their cargo-ferrying mission was continuing to run smoothly, despite that slight hiccup, and hopefully they would be dropping off these supplies and returning to Starbase before too long.
He took the opportunity to have his physical with the still-relatively new CMO. "Doctor, I'm here for my check-up." This was a brave move from Seth; usually he'd never do this voluntarily. He had too many physical and emotional scars. Multiple broken bones over the years from abuse at the hands of the Naal that still encroached on his colonial homeworld, and extensive psychological damage that he was unsure had ever fully healed. Being scanned, analysed and questioned about it was usually more than he could take.
<tag Dr. Storey>
He wrote a personal message to his father, Arnon Helacaan, partly as a response to his patriarch's message earlier in the month and partly to give him news of his promotion. An important communique had come through from Starbase: Seth had been promoted to Lieutenant Commander. It'd shocked the COO, and he hadn't been sure how to take it at first, but after an hour or two he realised that he was pleased. Very pleased.
He'd been on the Nevada for years now, and despite his misgivings towards the Federation and the rebellious attitude he'd always possessed, he couldn't help but be extremely proud and extremely grateful at this recognition.
The joy didn't last long however.
Karmelo cast dark-rimmed eyes to the warp core. Everything here seemed so clean, streamlined, modern, untainted by the darkness of his own universe. But - he also registered - the place seemed unreal, a guise, a falsitude hiding the real corruption by creating a pleasant facade of glitzy shininess, run through with mutual understanding and the fatherly hands of benevolent organisation. Karmelo knew from experience that nothing could be this pure: so perfectly removed from malevolence and the ever-questing knight of corruption. The Alliance... the fate of his homeworld... not to mention local galactic history had taught him this.
"The warp core is running on minimal power at the moment but it's fully operational," he reported back to Park. "We've secured all of engineering." The engineer Terran and his lackeys pushed past Karmelo and set up at the various consoles. "She's all yours, Dunowin," he said snidely, and left engineering with Meylor and co.

Park smiled and looked at his crew, He had to deal with Cohan but he knew that others were dealing with him as he stood on the Nevada bridge. "Understood, Set course for the Titan. Best speed." Park went to the Turbolift and headed for the Lower decks to look for his Prey.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Park looked at the Admiral on the Computer and was in utter shock "The Nevada had been what!" Park was mad and he was going to have to hope star fleet would find his ship. "Captain reading show that the Nevada is coming for you."
Park looked at her and saw what that means, "We will be ready." Park closed the Chasnnel and tapped his combadge =/\= Park to senior staff. Report to the Bridge."=/\=

Seth was 'surprised', to say the least. The possible explanations for the theft of the Nevada from Starbase 85 were myriad, not to mention the matter of who would actually have the nerve to hijack a capital ship docked to a space station.
He worked his console quickly, knowing that they couldn't have much time. He stopped working suddenly, "They are two and a half hours away," he murmured in shock.
"Recommend we go to yellow alert, Captain," Cohen said, having heard the Ops chief.
Seth had a suspicion that this was all to do with the Titan's precious cargo. "Could we try outrunning them?" he suggested, but was aware that this was the Nevada. All of them wanted to know who it was that'd taken their vessel.
The bridge of the Nevada was as sickly streamlined as the engineering area. With Park searching for his rumoured assassin below-deck, Karmelo had decided that he should take the conn. "We are two hours out. The Titan is not moving," someone reported.
"You sound shocked," Karmelo said disparagingly, "If we're right, then the people on that ship are the Nevada's actual crew, and that as I'm sure you're aware is where we'll find the classified weapons." In spite of his words, Karmelo couldn't help but think that Park's real objective was an entirely different one.
* * *
"The Titan's on an intercept course..." the man was sounding more and more disbelieving. "They're prepped for full attack!"
Karmelo stood aside as Park returned to the bridge. Two hours had passed before the Titan had begun repeatedly hailing them, but Helacaan had stalwartly ignored it. Now they were about to come under attack. "We're no match for the Titan," he muttered.
Twenty minutes later, it was virtually all over. The Luna class vessel had forced the Akira class vessel's surrender. Seth was glad they hadn't done too much damage to the Nevada, but the real shock was who had been aboard it.
Like finding a twisted re-creation of one self. Truly, seeing in a mirror, darkly. He'd heard about the mirror universe, but never thought he'd encounter its occupants, let alone his very alternate self. Dark eyes, ravaged and unfaithful, sorrowful, but an extraordinary reflection of his own; there was similar experience there, and similar dreams.
