The opps console exploded and crewman T’Gar flew across the bridge. Walker rose from the captain’s chair, and from the middle of the bridge commanded the ship to go to battle stations. Within seconds the ships alert siren was sounding and the whole ship was engulfed in shields. Another strike hit the ship and the whole thing shock. “Report? What the hells out there?” demanded Walker “We don’t know sir, nothing on sensors” replied a somewhat dismayed Lt at the science station. “Well something’s hitting us, cmdr Sokath get me some answers” Sokath hurried over to the science console and tried to help Lt Lasooux. The sensor array was working ok, there was just nothing out there…The ship was stuck again, this time plasma conduits form the ceiling came crashing down into the bridge, crew were flying everywhere, and casualty reports were flooding in. Engineering reported that the warp core was taking damage. “Helm, get us out of here” “Aye sir” The helmsman’s attempts to manoeuvre the ship were met with a series of beeps and sounds as the engines didn’t respond. “Tactical give me something, all firing arcs, NOW!” the same beeps and sounds were heard as the ships weapons refused to fire. “so what can we do?” asked the captain, in a more desperate tone. “Nothing sir, it would seem that the ship’s systems are all off line…engineering reports that the life support is offline, 30mins till our oxygen is gone” informed Sokath, who had moved around various consoles on the bridge. “Sir, we need to get off of this ship before we get hit again, the ship wont survive much longer” suggested the XO “I agree, =^= all crew this is the captain, abandon ship, repeat abandon ship =^=” The abandon ship claxon sounded and everyone made their way to the nearest escape pod. As the last pod left the ship Sokath turned to the exit of his pod “Computer, end program, and note time till all escape pods were away from the vessel, all crew return to your quarters your have a few days’ r&r here at the star base” ****** Back in his room ***** Sokath was resting in his room when the comms console on his desk sounded. Getting out of his chair the Vulcan made hi way over to the active console and opened the message. It appeared to be a high priority message from startfeet. After reading the orders Sokath made his way to the bridge to inform captain walker. Walker was in his room making ready his plans for R&R, because being at a Starbase somewhat limited his choice of things to do, being a captain he had arranged the loan of a shuttle craft to take him to a near by class-m planet. There was a buzz at the door… “Come in…ah Sokath, how can I help you? You don’t have the reports of to days training already?” “Good day captain,, I have come to inform you of our next mission, and we’re leaving immediately” replied Sokath. “Is that so commander, and where do these orders come from? And why was I not informed directly?” questioned walker, he wasn’t used to receiving orders from his XO “My orders come straight from Starfleet sir, I am to take the ship to the Tautlus Prime outpost and acquire some cargo, the details of which are as yet undefined.” “well I want to see these orders, if your to take my ship into deep space I want to see those orders, surly I should command the mission…i…” before he could finish Sokath replied.. “that wont be necessary, captain” the Vulcan grabbed walker by the wrist, and threw him across the room. Walker’s body spun and impacted the far wall of his room. Slowing rising to his feet Walker reached for his comm badge; Sokath replied by grabbing his phaser and shooting the badge, the thing exploded and caused burning to walker’s chest, setting the weapon to maximum stun he shot walker again in the torso… =^= all crew report back to the victory now, we have priority orders from starfeet, we leave in 10minutes. Medical team to the captains room, something’s happened =^= informed Sokath as he left the captain room. Ooc: ok, let’s get this one going, CMO…we still got one right?? Lol…lets have a report on the captain, I’m not sending a mission outline to any members of the crew, so you’ll have to work from this post. Also I will be using an PC to fill our vacant CScO position, a Lt(jg) Lasooux. I would also like to encourage the rest of the crew to make their posts more active by including some NPC’s of there own, red shirt kind of people.

Steve was in his quarters, sitting there trying to calm down, it had been a wile since doing the holo training program but he hated no win situations more than most, even if it was to test to see how quickly they could abandon ship he hated losing! "Computer download latest intel reports from Start Fleet Command" Steve said after adding his top level access code. Steve did this when every he needed to take his mind off something and he would rather catch up on work then go to some cafe or bar aboard the starbase. Steve had arranged to meet up with Fleet Commander Magellan in the morning, they did this everytime Steve returned to the starbase as Steve used to be Magellan's former XO. This once the one and only time Steve planned to step aboard the starbase. "Interesting..." Steve thought aloud still reading the classified intel's. =^=all crew report back to the victory now, we have priority orders from Starfleet, we leave in 10minutes. =^= *Hmmmmm* Steve thought and hopped up. He left his quarters but first making sure to secure the classified files and headed to the bridge.

Jones heard the cal for a med team and ran to the captain’s room with two nurses and his equipment.
Jones burst in and saw the captain on the floor with phaser burns on his chest. Jones got his tricorder out and tapped his comm badge.
=^= Jones to security the captain has been shot. =^=
"His life signs are steady. Prepare to beam him to sickbay nurse."
Jones surveyed the room, something wasn’t right. And why had the xo called him, he would have had to have found the captain to be able to report it and then why would he leave. Jones remembered back to his time in Intel and surveyed the scenes looking for clues while he awaited the security officer’s arrival.
=^= Computer secure line to Cmdr Steve, Steve the captain is hurt, security is on its way, something stinks about this. =^=
=^= roger that doctor I am on my way=^=
Jones ran a dermal regenerator over the captain’s chest to take away the burns.
"Will he be ok sir" A nurse asked
"Yes he has been heavily stunned I will leave him here till gypsy and Steve have looked at the scene then we will get him back to sickbay and try and revive him although in my experience it is often best to let patients recover on there own.
Jones looked away from the nurse not wanting to give away his true feelings that someone had almost killed the captain and the only person who had any knowledge of the events had left and called all crew to the victory.
Out.

Steve was in a turbo lift when he got the call from Jimmy over the secure line "Computer halt turbo life and redirect to the Walkers quarters" With that the turbolift stopped and changed direction. It stopped and the door opened and Steve walked quickly to his CO's quarters. He walked through the door and saw Jimmy kneeling over the body. "Report" Steve barked and Jimmy jumped up. "Commander, the Commodore has been shot, twice." "Is he....?" Steve asked with a soft voice. "No he is going to make it sir, it was just set to stun him, heavy stun." "I don't understand, why shoot him twice?" Steve asked puzzled "Looks like the first shot was to disable his comm badge" Jimmy said as he pointed to the burns on the Commodore's chest. "And the other shot was to stun him." "Hmmm he must have been shot by a good marksman to hit a comm badge and not take down the person." "I agree Steve in all my years I cant say I have seen anything like it." Steve nodded. "Nurse watch the Commodore, me and Dr Jones will be in the next room, call me if anyone and I mean anyone enters the room." "Aye sir" the nurse said as Steve and Jimmy walked into the bedroom "What do we know Jimmy, that the hell is going on here?" Steve asked softly "Well sir, I am not 100% sure what to make of it, I don't want to say anything that could get...." "Jimmy you don't have to worry, just tell me what you know." Steve said putting his hand on his friends arm. "Well sir I was in sickbay working on a project I had going while it was quiet and I heard a call from Commander Sokath." Steve interrupted "I know everyone got it, asking for all crew members to report back to the ship." "Yes sir but what you didn't hear was Sokath requesting a medical team to the Commodore's quarters saying he had been hurt. So I dropped what I was doing and ran to the Commodore's quarters and found him on the floor, pretty much as you see him now, we didn't move him or touch anything in the room, we just made sure he was ok." Jimmy finished. Steve thought for a moment "What did Sokath say to you when you arrived and where has he gone?" "That's the thing sir, he wasn't here, I mean he must have been to know the Commodore was hurt but there was no one here when I arrived and another thing sir, I called security right before I called you and no one from there has arrived either." "This is very strange" Steve admitted "I agree Sir, I know Sokath was gone for awhile but he wouldn't hurt Walker would he?" "Lets not jump to anything here Doctor but lets also be careful. The commander has called everyone back for a new mission so he will be calling a meeting soon and maybe we will find something out then. Jimmy I know this will be hard but I want to you go about everything like normal, report what has happened to the XO but don't say anything to anyone of what you have said to me. I also want you to keep the Commodore under, I don't want him awake until we know more of what is going on. "You mean lie to Sokath about the state of his injuries?" Jimmy asked "Yes, I also want you to report any orders that are out of the ordinary to me before carrying them out. Do you have any problems with what I just said?" "No not at all sir, I understand" Jimmy replied "Good" Steve said as he went to walk out of the door "Oh one more thing, I would pop a phaser under your desk or something, just incase" "Aye sir" Jimmy said as Steve left the room.

Harash-kyat disliked being rushed and Jalli-tol even less so. The two of them dashed across the concourse toward the Victory's airlock. Jalli-tols transport from the Agamemnon had only just docked, she ran with bounding long steps, little Yanni-tol tucked under one arm, her case in the other. Harash-kyat snorted deeply and swerved to avoid a pair of Cardassian Merchants, his case just caught the edge of their pile of cases sending them spilling all over the floor. The cardassians looked up from their conversation angrily but Harash-kyat barely looked back. "Stupid place to leave cases" he grunted nasally They were in sight of the airlock now. A pair of security officers flanked the doorway. Harash-kyat flashed his orders packet at them as he helped his bondmater over the step and on to the Nebula Class vessel. "Made it" Harash-kyat sighed "Bah, Ridicolous if you ask me, who ever heard of a ten minute departure warning." "Now dear" Harash-kyat lowed "Try and be a little more... co-operative this is neither the Hepta nor the Agamemnon, these people..." "These people what?" Harash-kyat sensed he was once more entering dangerous territory. "These people my dear don't know your temperament as I do" "Hmmph" "I m gonna find our quarters, find the creche and then view the labs. In that order." "I best go report us in then" Harash-kyat nodded pleased for a brief respite. He made his way up through the ship to the bridge. He crossed the bridge toward the ready room. He pressed the bell, "Yes? Can I help you?" Came a calm controlled voice behind him. "Harash-kyat realised from the smell that the person behind was Vulcan. "I was looking for the Captain, Walker I understand." "Captain Walker is..unavailble at present. I am the Executive Officer" "Ah. Then I guess you 'll have to do. Commander Harash-kyat and Commander Jalli-Tol Reporting." "I was unaware of any new crew?" Harash-kyat handed over the padd containing orders. Sokath took it up and read it.
Commodore Walker, As of this Stardate. Commanders Harash-Kyat and Jalli-tol are temporarily assigned to teh USS Victory. Jalli-tol is working on new Stellar Cartography equipment and is to be allowed to test this software aboard the Victory. She will require little assistance, her bond mate is an engineer and will fulfill and technical requirements. You are not to interfere in their work and in return may use their services to supplement your crew. They are both competent if somewhat... of an aquired taste.
Admiral Magellan Lin First Fleet Commanding
Sokath finished reading.

Looking up from the padd Sokath quickly surveyed the Grazerite standing in front of him. A tall, thin man with a seemingly poor attitude towards the command structure thought Sokath. He then proceeded to hand the padd back to Harash-kyat.
“Well everything seems to be in order here, please report to your post as soon as your personal items are aboard”
“And the captain sir, where can I find him?” enquired Harash-kyat.
“The captain is…” Sokaths’ face scrunched up as he brought a hand up to his forehead, as if a great pain had rushed through his head ”…he’s busy, I’ll inform him of your arrival”
“Are you ok commander, you seem to be in pain?”
“That will be all commander” with that Sokath rushed off down the corridor. Harash-kyat shook his head in disbelief; he’d never seen a Vulcan storm off before.
Sokath reached the end of the corridor and was once again struck by pain, this time no one was around to see, or hear, as the Vulcan slid down the wall to the floor. After a minute or so Sokath climbed back to his feet, and was met by a feeling or uncertainty. He had no idea where he was or what he was doing.
=^= Sokath to the bridge, report=^= =^= We’re ready to make way sir, all the crew are back aboard and we await your orders =^=
Having no idea what the crewman was on about, and being far to dazed to think straight he closed the comm link and made his way back to his quarters. There he hoped to find something that would explain what he was doing. The feeling of uncertainty was something he’d not felt since he was a child. Part of him wanted to stop, and think, workout what was going on, but something was driving him forward, something inside wasn’t giving him time to think…

Harash-kyat made all haste to his quarters, by the time he had arrived, Jalli-tol had already been dropped of the cases and left. Harash-kyat allowed himself a small smile whilst Yanni was in the creche and Jalli-tol obviously already in Stellar Cartography he could get to the one place where he felt most at home, an Engine room. Nebula vessels had a similar layout to that of their Galaxy brethern and Galaxy engine rooms were somewhat a speciality of his. He swept an eye over the room. He had no idea who had been running engineering up until now, but he was appallled at the number of infractions: Warp Core at only 99.1% of potential, Lock down valves only half locked down, Tool kit left on a seat, dust...DUST left along the sill beside the intermix ratio chamber. "Whos in charge here" He grunted, and waited for an ensign to come lumbering up. "Right you and me are gonna get this place ship shape" And with great relish he began to bandy about orders with very little regard to rank or duties.

Harash-kyat after an hour had finally managed to get the Engine room in to something that he felt resembled order. The rest of the engineering staff however were not so sure, but had quickly picked up on the fact that for a quiet life, you did what the Grazerite said. "There, you see its much clearer with the hydrospanners arranged in head size order rather than handle length" The enlisted crewman just nodded and smiled weakly, Harash-kyat turned his beady pokey eyes on the man. "Yes sir" The crewman replied quickly.
"Where is he?" came a familiar coarse voice. The kind of shrill tone that could turn even a klingon to stone in fear. "Here my dear" Harash-kyat intoned loudly having his arm. Jalli-tol left the ensign she had been abusing and strode over. "I thought I d find you here" "You are the brightest star in the sky my dear" he replied facetiously Jalli-tol wrinkled her face even more but ignored his jibe. "You wouldnt believe the state of Stellar Cartography..." "If its anything like engineering I would Can you beli..." "Yes yes. I m not here to discuss your grubby little engine. I need a greater power allocation to teh subspace telescope." "Then why have you come to me? I m not responsible for that." "You are." "I am not" Jalli-tol sighed "As my engineer" she said slowly and deliberatly "Assigned to make sure all my technical needs are met its your duty to find me the extra power. What do you think that is?" she pointed to the warp core, "A Lollipop? Who else could give me the necessary power?" Harash-kyat reigned in his temper and forced a smile to his lips and then in the same tone as his bondmate said, "I do not run this ship. Power allocation is done through Operations. IF the COO tells me I can I will." "Bah, your just being awkward" "No...no I m not. We are not officially crew here - we are guests. Lets not try and forget that." "Well who is The COO?" "I believe a man named Jameson is covering Ops." "No hes the quartermaster" "Thats still an Ops position." "I want power not a can of soup or a new blanket." "Fine. Your obviously not going to listen to me. I suggest you take it up with the first officer. He's on the bridge." "Fine I will." she retorted as she stormed off. She paused at the door and turned back, "You'll be back for tea?" "Yes about 1800 hrs" "Good I thought we'd have Talik Salad" "Oh yes that would be good." Jalli-tol nodded and left.
Jalli-tol made her way up to the bridge as she passed sickbay she noticed a guard at the door. She noted the odd occurence but thought nothing more of it. The turbolift ran her straight up through the saucer section and ejected her on to the bridge at the rear. The bridge was relatively quiet. A few officers sat at their posts, a man wearing an Intelligence uniform stood at tactical. She walked a round tactical and down the gentle incline to the command area. Only the centre seat was taken, and she knew the occupants species before she even got close, a vulcans smell was particularly obnoxious to Grazerites, a fact many humans felt was a great irony. "Commander Sokath?" "No I am Lieutenant Commander S'Tak, Commander Sokath is off watch at the moment." "Oh I see" Jalli-tol grunted dissatisfied "Well then I ll speak to the Captain then." The man at tactical came down "err no. I am afraid the Captain has asked not to be disturbed." "Not to be disturbed! That surely doesnt count for me. I am guest aboard here." she reached out to touch the door opener to teh ready room. "He is not to be disturbed by anyone. Besides hes not in there." Steve comented "Oh I see" "Perhaps I can help" "I doubt it." Then Jalli-tol relented a little not everyone had the inherent efficiency of Grazerites. "perhaps you can..." she the reiterated at length not only the need for her power increase but the whole scientific project in detail.
<tag Steve>
"Very well then Perhaps it would be best if I speak to Commander Sokath"
<tag Steve>
"Well I wont be disturbing him for an inappropriate reason, this is duty. Good Day to you...Mr Intelligence?"
<tag Steve>
"Good day to you then Commander Steve" Jallo-tol strode from the bridge and made for Sokaths quarters.

Steve looked at Lt. Commander S'Tak and smiled. "Very blunt and forward isn't she." The Commander just sat there and nodded and Steve chuckled. "If you need me I will be popping see Commander Sokath so just get me on the comm." "Aye sir" The Vulcan responded. Steve left the bridge and headed towards the commanders quarters, once he got there he pressed the door panel and waited for a response. "Computer confirm the location of Commander Sokath" "Commander Sokath is in his quarters" The computer responded. Strange Steve thought and tried the door again and again there was no response. Steve tapped something into the panel and the boor whooshed open.
The room was dark, very dark and it took a moment for Steve's eyes to get used to it. Steve stood in the door way and took a deep breath at what he saw...

(Lying on a table strapped down Walker slowly opened his eyes to see a light hanging over his head. It appeared to be sickbay but he couldn't be sure as he couldn't move his head with the restraints. He managed to get out a few words)
Walker: Where.. am I?
Jones: You're in sickbay Commodore, please don't make any sudden movements or it might cause further damage.
Walker: Where is he?!
Jones: Where is who commodore?
Walker: I have to get out of here.
(Walker struggled with all of his strength to get up)
Jones: No Commodore you need to stay here, you might start the bleeding again.
Walker: Let me out of here, he'll kill more!
Jones: Nurse!
(They put some more sedative into Walker to put him out and he fell back into a deep sleep)

Jones felt worried, things were getting stranger by the minute. He knew he needed to get the commodore back to a fit state and revive him; he was the only person who could solve this mystery. Jones wondered what the xo had to do with everything, and hoped that Steve could deal with it all.
Jones recorded what the commodore said on a padd, and placed it on a trolley by his bio bed.
Jones returned to his office and got a cup of tea from his replicator and sat down with a sigh. He was used to running Intel ops not being one of the pawns. He trusted Steve but he knew that if everything went pear shaped the accusations he had made no matter how quietly to Steve could get him in trouble and would effect the relations between the senior staff.
Jones looked at his computer screen and noticed he was behind on a few checkups and treatments. He tapped a few buttons sending reminders to people consoles. He also noticed he ad two new passengers who had gone with out checkups.
"Nurse Jensen, take a med kit and give a full check up to these two new additions to the crew, and run by security and check on Edmondson shoulder, he hurt it in the holodeck again, tell him its doctors orders to put the security settings back up." Jones said passing the nurse a padd with details of his tasks.
"Yes doctor I will go right away."
"Oh and any problems give me a call and either I or Kapoor will come to assist you." Jones called out
"Thank you sir." Jensen replied politely.
Out.

Harash-kyat was not in the mood for being prodded and poked but neverthless realised that it would be better to get it over and done with. By going now whilst Jalli-tol was away sorting things with teh captain of FO or whoever he could have his medical done and then when Jalli-tol was called he would have a break. "Very well Nurse I ll come right away" "Theres no need I can come to you" "No no That won't be neccsary I ll be there in a tick." Before the nurse could answer he had rung off and started making his way to sickbay. It took him about 5 minutes to orientate himself but he managed to find his way correctly. He was stopped at the entrance by a security officer. "business?" "None of yours." Harash-kyat retired sharply The officer stepped in front to block the way. "No one can enter without orders" "Bah. I m here for my medical. As a new COMMANDER aboard, I m sure you as an ENSIGN can understand the need for me to have a physical. Its regulations you know." The ensign grunted. "One moment, wait here." Harash-kyat tapped his foot impatiently as the guard disappeared inside. Hushed words were had inside and then the guard reappeared. "You can go in." "About time." He was met inside by Nurse Jensen. She greeted him perfunctorily with an icy smile and carefully guided him quickly past the main sickbay, isolation ward and into an examination cubicle. After taking a few readings the Nurse made her excuses to obtain a Hyporespirometer. Harash-kyat sat moodily and again impatiently growing tired of the delay he decided to find out what was keeping the nurse. He exited the cubicle and wandered about. As he entered an isolation room he noticed that it was occupied and began to retreat quietly, trying not to wake the patient as he did so he noted the line of 5 pips at the collar poking from under the blanket. "Odd" he thought to himself and started to see a connection between what he'd seen and the guard outside. Deciding discretion was the better part of valour he hastened from the room but barelled into a doctor.

In his room Sokath had begun to try and meditate to gain control of himself again, but he had this pressing need to look at his message console. Uncrossing his legs and standing up the Vulcan did indeed move over to his console. Looking through his mail he found there to be a new contact from the Starbase, priority one again. Opening the message a new set of orders appeared and an unusual sound was, well felt more than heard, by the Vulcan.
Moving back into the middle of the room Sokath began to disassemble his comm badge and a padd. The message detailed some modifications to his comm badge, and he was beginning to make the changes.
Reattaching his comm badge Sokath slowly rose to his feet the sound was now back again, and rite inside his head this time. He staggered across his room, bumping into his table. The sound was getting more intense and rage, an emotion vulcans don’t normally deal with filled his body. His arms moved violently across his desk, knocking various padds and old Vulcan txts on paper everywhere. A glass was sent flying into a nearby wall when the door to his room whooshed open. Standing in the entrance was commander Steve.
A look of shock was across his face as, I the dark room he could make out the shape of the Vulcan XO, now slumped over his desk.
“sir, are you ok?” asked Steve, no reply came, Steve drew his side arm and moved over to the XO “commander?” Turning quickly Sokath was greeted with a phaser pointing towards him “ah yes, commander Steve, just who I needed to see...i have been sent the following by starfleet. Could you take this to the bridge and ensure that they orders are followed to the letter?” ordered the somewhat bewildered vulcan.
“yes sir, but are you ok, you seem dazed, and…I heard a noise?” looking round the room, it was clear that something had been broken along the wall, something had left a shinny residue that was reflecting what little light there was in the room. “and sir, have you heard about the captain?” he thought feeling his way onto the subject of the shooting was best.
“of course I have” replied Sokath, with what appeared to be emotion, and anger at that “how could I have not? I am after all the XO, and was it not I who called the medical team? That will be all commander, good day” with that Sokath moved out of his room and moved down towards engineering.
Steve would have replied and questioned more but was overcome with the shock of being in a conversation with a vulcan that was not, well, not logical…

NPC Deputy Chief of Security Duchek & Security Officer Sadler:
:In The Security Office:
(Duchek sat at his desk in the security office reviewing reports from the week when another security officer Lieutenant Sadler entered the office. Sadler approached Duchek's desk)
Sadler: Sir?
Duchek: What can I do for your Lieutenant?
Sadler: Well I'm just curious, have any leads been found in the investigation of who shot the Commodore?
Duchek: Well you know nothing is official until it goes into the reports but we can really only speculate at this time that it is someone very wreckless and someone who may dislike the commodore.
Sadler: Do you find it peculiar that after the Commodore was shot we're just going on about business as usual even though there could be a killer on board?
Duchek: Well, thats what has me slightly stumped. I mean I suppose there are only a limited number of ships in this area but you would think that if someone would be so bold to shoot the Commodore that they would have no problem shooting anyone else in their way.
Sadler: Hmm.. I hope not.
Duchek: Well just keep your eyes peeled.
Sadler: As always. Well I'm off duty sir.
(Sadler hung up his phaser rifle on the wall and left for his quarters)

Jones rose from his seat, he had been bought out of his thoughts by the security officer asking for permission to allow a new commander in for a check up. Jones had allowed it as long as secrecy was maintained as to the condition of the commodore. He knew it wouldn’t be long before security officers let it slip to the crew. Slowly but surely the truth would soon be out and Jones was hoping that when that arrived Steve had arrived at a conclusion to the events.
Jones approached the isolation ward and looked through the door and paused as a commander walked into him. Jones stretched to his full height and pressed back his shoulders and roared at the commander.
"WHO THE HELL ARE YOU!"
"Your superior doctor so show a little respect." the commander replied giving him an icy stare although it was obvious the shock and fear of facing a klingon who was clearly angry.
=^= Jones to Steve report to sickbay immediately. =^=
The ensign at the door having heard the noise appeared behind Jones as did nurse Jensen.
"Ensign takes the commander to my office and make him stay there."
"Doctor you will not make me go anywher..."
"YOU ARE LUCKY YOU ARE NOT GOING TO THE BRIG, HOW DARE YOU SKULK AROUND MY SICKBAY."
The commander stood down at the second outburst from the enraged klingon and allowed himself to be led to the office by the security officer who looked more than happy to take him away after the rudeness in the corridor.
Jones turned to Jensen and let out a low growl.
"Ask Commander Steve to see me when he arrives." Jones said turning away without waiting for a reply to check on the commodore in case the newcomer had tried to hurt him.
Out.

(Walker woke again from his deep unconciousness. He felt very groggy, tired, and had a splitting headache. He was having a tough time thinking clearly)
Jensen: He is back sir.
(Jones sprinted over)
Walker: Jeez what kind of drugs are you giving me Doc.
Jones: You paniced earlier and tried to escape, I had to sedate you with some pretty strong hyposprays. It's a good thing they worked or you could be in worse shape than you already are.
Walker: What exactly happened Doctor?
Jones: You had phaser burns on your chest, we found you nearly dead. Commander Sokath saved your life by calling for a medical team, five more minutes and you would have been gone.
Walker: Who did it?
Jones: As far as I've heard we still don't know but you'd have to talk to security for that I suppose.
Walker: I'm leaving sickbay

"No commodore you are staying in bed." Jones said putting a hand on his chest and gently pressing him back into bed. "I have no qualms about sedating you again commodore, Commander Steve should be on his way sir and he will be able to fill you in more."
"How does he know I am conscious?"
"He is coming to deal with a visitor you had while you were out sir."
"What?"
"I don’t know who he is sir, I have him in my office, and as soon as Steve arrives I will be going to deal with him. But not before you give me your word you will not get out of bed."
Walker looked at the stern look in the doctors eyes and gave a nod. Jones knew he would be up and put of sickbay of he looked away for a second, but that was the nature of the game between CO's and doctors.
Out.

Steve was on the bridge sitting in the command chair barking out the orders given to him from Starfleet by Sokath. Steve still couldn't get out of his mind what he had seen in the XO's quarters, the commander is acting very strange and in Steve's eyes not fit to command at all and ontop of that Walker was lying on a sickbay bed out cold and helpless. =^= Jones to Steve report to sickbay immediately. =^= Steve jumped up, almost coming out of a day dream. What's happened now, I don't need anything else on my plate today he said in his head. "I am going to sickbay, contact me if I am needed." With that Steve headed off to sickbay.
Steve arrived at the doors to sickbay but there was noone on watch, Steve walked in the door as was greeted by nurse Jensen. "Nurse, where is security?" Steve barked "Sir, I think I should let Dr Jones explaine that to you" "Where is Jimmy?" "Wait here sir" the nurse said walking off. Jimmy appeared from one side of the room and walked over towards Steve. "Sir, we have a situation here" Jimmy said with a low voice, well aslow as a Klingon can get it. Steve muttered "That doesn't surprise me, what's the matter?" "Well the new commander that came aboard came in for his check up and, and well decided to go on a wonder around sickbay and I caught him in the room with Walker." "Is walker ok?" Steve asked "Yes Walking is doing fine and...." "Right where is this commander" Steve said in a voice that not even a Klingon with argue with. "Sir, there's one more thing" Steve heart sank "What else Doc" "Walker has woken up and he is insisting he talks to you." Steve huffed and looked at Jimmy "I thought I told you to keep him under until this matter was sorted.... Never mind I will see to him after I talk to this commander... lead the way." Jimmy started towards his office with Steve right behind him. Just before they got to the office Steve stopped Jimmy and whispered to him "Any more surprises I need to know about". "No sir, I think I have covered it all" Jimmy said with a strange smile on his face.
They entered Jimmy's office and Steve saw both the security officer from the door and a tall and thin man with tanned skin. "Ensign report back to your post" "Aye sir" and he walked off Steve looked at the commander and waited to get it, he knew he would be mad in the same situation and braced himself.

"What is the meaning of this? I m being treated... well I m being treated like some sort deviant, criminal even. I m here for my medical. AS REQUESTED... Is.." "Excuse me Commander. I apologise for the manner in which you were..." "Manner. Manners have nothing to do with that hulking Klingon out there. Who ever heard of Klingon Doctor in Starfleet, probably kills more than he heals." "Now wait one minute Commander. There are some things that..." "No you wait" Harash-kyat snorted "Something smells pretty rotten around here. Something I doubt command knows anything about. I was called for a routine medical and when i accidentally, acicdentally mark you enter another ward I m strong armed here by some thug of a doctor. I can only take it that you didnt want anyone to see the Commodore in there. And with all the guards about its evident something is afoot" Steve looked about to say something but Harash-kyat steam rolled onwards. "I don't give two hoots about your secrecy, I have a job to do here. Play your silly games, But don't start man handling a man for a simple mistake. It appaling and the staff in this sick bay should be ashamed." "Any complaints about this ship should be directed to me. Is that not the correct procedure?" A steely voice came from behind them. They turned to see Commodore Walker framed in the doorway. "Ah Sir I was just coming to see you" Steve replied

(Walker still felt very drowsy but he had the strength to stand up)
Walker: What happened here?
Steve: Well.. We suspect that Mr. Kyat may have attempted to do more damage to you sir.
Kyat: When will you listen? I said I was coming to get a medical check-up.
Steve: Pipe down or you'll be doing the talking from the brig.
(Kyat immediately silenced)
Walker: Well are you sure. He has no blemishes on his service record, he was just an academy instructor.
Steve: Well thats our best lead so far sir.
Walker: Well due to understaffing we can't confine him to the brig.. We will have a guard following him at all times. And he will not be allowed to carry a phaser unless we go to red alert.
Steve: Aye sir.
(Walker looked over at Kyat for a moment)
Jones: Commodore, you really should be in bed.
Walker: Listen, I appreciate your concern Doctor but I have a job to do.

Sebastian had only just assumed his post when they had been ordered out. Good luck he'd gotten there in time. The Victory was sorely lacking in good officers he'd heard and from what his Academy trainers had said he was going to be a good one. He'd been ordered to set course to a set of co-ordinates and had done as the officer had ordered. He'd barely had time to move all his belongings to his quarters. Things certainly were hectic.
He hadn't even seen the Captain but could tell something was up. Then the Security officer, who had until then been in charge, had left the bridge. Sebastina decided to await a member of the command staffs return to the bridgebefore asking questions.

Harash-kyat could barely believe what he was hearing. He had never heard anything so ridicoulous in all his life. He was already mentally preparing a letter to Admiral McCormick, then these arrogant people in the first fleet would feel the wrath of Kyat. "That is not necessary. I do not require a nursemaid." "Those are my orders COMMANDER" Walker replied, "Now if you don't mind I wish to talk to my senior staff." "Mind HAH why would I mind." He stalked from the room in great annoyance. He walked slowly back to his quarters a security guard in tow. He frowned at the dour man who seemed unable to hold a conversation. They reached a small interchange where they met two officers. "You What are you doing?" Sokath asked the security guard. "The Captain asked me to watch this man." "He did. Well thats all well and good but we are severly understaffed. You" the Vulcan jabbed a finger at the other man "Your new here. So you need to get to know the place, how better to do it than to follow a former instructor around." Sokath turned to the guard. "You can stand down, get some rest and you can watch the Grazerite" "Yes sir" Sebastian replied smartly. "And for T'Pels sake less of the Yes sirs I dont have time for it. Well... Carry on" "Yes si..." Sebastian nodded. "Humph some kid for a watcher now, thats all I need Harash-kyat grunted. As Harash-kyat resumed his walk Sokath stormed off towards Sickbay.
"So" Sebastian Asked "Why do I have to watch you?" "The Great Bovine knows" teh garzerite shrugged, "Its all a mix up. A big mix up." "I see" Harash-kyat and his new 'best friend' returned to their quarters where they were met by Jalli-tol. Harash-kyat introduced his bondmate to Sebastian and explained what had happened. "And so?" she asked at the end "And so what?" "Did you ask the Captain for my increased power allocation?" "WHAT! Of course I didnt. He accused me of being an attacker." "Bah, Bulls" Jalli-tol whispered "I heard that" Sebastian wasnt quite sure where to put himself during teh domestic and opted for standing at the edge of the room near the door. "Well do you want to hear what I saw?" Harash-kyat asked "Not really but your going to tell me anyway" "Yes. Somethings very wrong here." "You always say that" "And I m always right. The Captain was being kept from us because someone shot him. Someone from this ship. And yet theres no extra security, no lock down and its all hush hush. And the captain cant recall what happened." "Now that is odd" Jalli-tol agreed. "And whats up with the FO he actually got angry earlier on. Now thats not very vulcan." "No indeed its not and now you mention it his odour is slightly off as if his hormones are out of whack with his body." "You what do you think" Jalli-tol asked Sebastian
<Sebastian>
"I dont care if your new you have an opinion dont you?"
<Sebastian>
"Yes it is odd, and I think we need to do some digging around." "No dear please. Lets just leave it to them" Harash-kyat sighed, "We re here to work in stellar cartography thats all." "Bah, we re Starfleet offciers its our duty." "no its not we're not Security or Intelligence" "Speak for yourself"Jalli Tol quipped Harash-kyat ignored him "We are an engineer and a scientist" "No. We are a CEO, CSO and a CNO" "CNO?" "Yes. Well Sebastian is your shadow, goes where you go etc etc, so hes in whether he likes it or not." "Oh very well, so where do we start."

OOC: Ok this suddenly got confusing seen as there are no senior officers on the bridge and the CNO just got transferred to guard duty.
IC: "Well sir I think it's odd I've been stationed to guard you. Considering I'm the CNO and there isn't a single officer curently on the bridge. If you'll excuse I'll await outside your quarters."
Sebastian moved to outside the quarters and stationed himself on guard duty. He thought it both strange and certainly wrong he'd been assinged to guard duty especially when he'd had limited experience in this field.
"Drauis to Security."
"Security here."
"Please send a security guard to my location. Please escort Mr. Harash-kyat if he leaves his quarters."
"Some-one will be sent to your position immediately."
Sebastian found all this slightly confusing and decided that as soon as the security guard arrived he'd head back to his proper place on the bridge.

Kurzan was resting up in his quarters. After a long journey from the planet Vulcan, he was looking forward to traveling on a starship. The Vulcans were an interesting people. In all his years, and their are alot of them, Kurzan found them to be a highly competent people who were well on the way to attaining full enlightenment. However, Kurzan was quite annoyed by the Vulcan's emotions, or lack thereof. He would often order drinks and challenge the Vulcans to engage in drinking shots with him. The Vulcans considered it an illogical act and a degradation of character. Kurzan gave up on trying to enjoy Vulcan culture and after 15 years of living on the planet, he decided to move on to greener pastures.
Kurzan got up from his chair and went into his pack. He was trying to find something...
Kurzan: Aha. And here they are. Voila!
Kurzan had found a lighter and one of his cigars which he had purchased on Earth recently before transferring to the vessel known as the USS Victory-C. He couldn't put his finger on it, but they appealed to him. They tasted appalling and at times it made him want to gag, but their was something about expierencing an ancient Earth relic that excited him. He placed the cigar in his mouth and began to ignite the lighter, when all of a sudden, he heard a beeping sound and an energy beam appeared in front of him.
Kurzan: ....What The hell?!
In a few seconds, an officer came into Kurzan's quarters.
Officer: Sir, what has happened?
Kurzan: I uh, I was-
Officer: That's a cigar...
Kurzan: Yes I know that, I know.
Officer: Sorry sir, flammables are not allowed in quarters. When the computer detects the flame, it automatically activates the oxygen surpression system, terminating the flame.
Kurzan: So, I can't have it then.
Officer: Please hand me the...device sir.
Kurzan: It's not a device. It's a lighter. Here, I'll show you how it works.
Officer: NO!....I mean...that won't be nessasary sir. I will have to confiscate it.
Kurzan: Sigh. Very well. Where is the captain? I'd like to discuss this with him.
Officer: The captain is busy, and besides, their is nothing you can do about it sir, it's the law.
Kurzan: And I thought the Vulcans were strict!

(NPC Post: Security Officer Sadler)
(Sadler lay in bed, it was 0600 hours and he would begin duty at 0730 hours. The whole night he hadn't gotten much sleep as he was still puzzled as to what was going on aboard the ship not to mention he had a bad headache. On his nightstand was a small phaser. He usually felt comfortable enough leaving it in the draw but in this case he felt it safer to have it near. For a few more minutes he tossed and turned. At 0615 the comm chirped)
Duchek: Sadler, you are needed for guard duty.
(With mixed feelings Sadler got out of bed and stretched. After a sonic shower and a change of clothes he was on his way to the security office for his guard assignment)
Duchek: Sorry I know it's early but hey look on the bright side, atleast you get off duty earlier.
Sadler: Yeah great, hopefully I'll get a better sleep than last night.
(Sadler picked up his phaser rifle from the wall rack and exited the office. Walking down the corridors they were almost empty as it was still graveyard shift. It was almost eery especially with the red alert flashing. Sadler turned a corner to bump into another officer. Being half awake and being caught by surprise he lifted his phaser rifle halfway)
Sadler: Sorry...
(Feeling foolish he was now close to the assignment location. He spotted what was an ensign in a red uniform)
Sadler: Ensign, I'm here to take over. Tell me it's not a Klingon?
(He said jokingly)
