Harash-kyat very quickly asserted his control over the engine room. His first job was to make links to the bridge. At a flick of a switch Engineering could now operate the whole ship from their and take control away from the bridge. Next he ran low level sensor scans of the bridge which unfortunatly revealed very little. Suddenly an Ensign at a console called out. "We have an incoming ship?" "Where" Harash-kyat asked wishing he d set up a viewscreen too. "3 degrees off the starboard bow. Their weapons are hot" "Commander Steve. Hostiles on approach" Harash-kyat hollered. Steve vaulted down from a higher level. "Report" He barked as teh ship shuddered from an impact. "Direct hit" Harash-kyat reported "Shields down to 56%" Steve looked at the readout. "What do we do sir? We could be destroyed. Shall I route command from the bridge here?... Comander?"

Steve took a few seconds to take everything in, he was tired and had been on the go for hours. The ship rocked again and Harash-kyat called out. "Another hit sir, shields down to 50%" "I want emergency power diverted to boost the shields that are taking the brunt of the enemy attack." "Sir, shall I return fire?" "No not at this moment in time, I still want the bridge to think they have control." "Yes Sir" Harash-kyat replied and started tapping away. =^= Steve to Duchek =^= =^= Go ahead =^= =^= Are your teams in place to retake the bridge? =^= =^= Yes Sir, On your command =^= The ship shook again but didn't seem as bad "Commander shields have been boosted but it wont last long if we don't fight back." Harash-kyat stated "Harash-kyat quickly over here now, Duchek you listen to this aswell. This is what I want to happen. I want to be told soon as the next heavy volley of weapons fire comes in, as it hits I want stun grenades beamed onto the bridge, once they have gone off I need your security team to go in and retake the bridge. Understand?" Both the officers agreed and got ready. A few moments passed and then Steve heard Harash-kyat's voice "Incoming, brace for impact." The ship rocked and Steve shouted "Deploy grenades" Walker looked up and saw transporters beams appear in different places all over the bridge... <Tag> Anyone on bridge Off: sanosuke i did read your post as a trick and then when i saw the post made by Harash-kyat i wasnt to sure so i decided to go with it being a real attack and i feel this will make the story very interesting

Sebastian had finally pulled himself into a corner to nurse his wound. Almost half his uniform jacket had to be used to staunch the bleeding. He glanced up and realised he'd missed an oppertunity to re-take the ship and sighed inwardly.
Pretty soon afterwards the ship came under attack and Sebastian dove back to his position at the helm. After a few minutes under constant fire he heard several transporter beams activate behind him on the bridge.
After that he felt nothing.

OFF: Sanosuke is my father's name. I am Gareth. And that idea works just fine for me.
Just as Gareth was able to disarm Zirdek, they came under fire that rocked the bridge and the ship. He managed to keep his balance but Zirdek just grinned. Give me a reason to knock you out, please thought Gareth who was thinking about how to defend the ship. Transporter beams started appearing around the bridge. Gareth turned around which gave Zirdek the chance to leap to his feet and knock the wind out of Gareth. He fell onto his face which broke his sunglasses and then Zirdek knocked him out.

Kurzan was wandering the corridors for a while, just exploring really. A few minutes later, the red alert klaxon came on, and the ship jolted violentely. It threw Kurzan on the floor.
Kurzan: Ah! What in the name of Santa Claus is going on out there?!
A female crewmember ran down the hall, running past Kurzan.
Female: You really shouldn't be on the floor at a time like this!
Kurzan: Oh, I agree completely! Dumb as-
The ship vibrated again and Kurzan rolled into the bulkhead.
Kurzan: I'm being tenderized. I can't take much more!

"Report" Steve cried. "Transport was a success" Harash-kyat replied. "Well what's going on up there?" "Sensors are down, that last hit took them out, as well as the comm system" came the reply "For god sake" Steve muttered "Let me know as soon as we have anything, use who you need to get it back up and running." "Yes sir" The ship shook again and Steve stumbled, Harash-kyat looked up and Steve stepped to his side and signalled that he would take control of the ship wile the commander was busy fixing. Steve bought the ship around and checked the status of the tactical systems. Shields were now down to 35% but both the phasers and the torpedo's were online. The ship shook again and Steve locked phasers on target, he fired. Direct hit the screen showed but their shields were holding. The Victory shook, hard this time and a panel behind Steve exploded sending a shower of sparks down and flames erupted. "Sadler" Steve called "Sort that fire out". "Yes sir" The ship shook again and Steve knew that it wouldn't take much more of a pounding like this. He locked Quantum Torpedo's on target as well as all available phaser banks.. and fired. All weapons hit their target and the unknown ship started to move away. "The unknown ship is pulling away" Steve called out "Now give me some idea of what's happening on the bridge!" Off: I hope every one had a nice festive break and are ready to get back to simming FarloTejharet you are more than welcome to come and join me in the engin room if you want. Glad to have u aboard!

"Now your asking" Harash-kyat grumbled harshly returning, his toolkit in hand. "You realise hes sealed the bridge and disabled internal sensors?" "Yes" Steve replied tiredly, "I m well aware of teh facts. And one of those facts is that you are one of those fabled Starfleet Corp of Engineers - Miracles are your business" Harash-kyat seemed to like this bit of ego boosting and nodded, "Well I ll see what I can do, Perhaps my bondmate can help." "Take whoever you need. Time is limited. He will know by now that we have control of the ship unless the grenades did their work and everyone is on the bridge is stunned." Sadler appeared again, "Its no good sir the Tac Teams tried to storm the bridge when the grenades were beamed in but the doors were sealed. We heard the sound of a struggle but not much more." "So we still don't know if the captain and crew have incapacitated him?" "No Sir." "Okay" Steve said slowly to himself "1. We need to see in. 2. We need to establish a dialogue with the hostage taker - A Counsellor would be handy, 3. We need him restrained and sitting in a brig"
OFF: Okay peeps on the bridge - Whats happening up there now - Did the grenades arriving knock you all out? is Zirdek still captured or does he once more have the upper hand - he does hold a trump hostage card - Sokaths body.

Gareth slowly woke up. His head hurt and he couldn't remember why. He looked around and couldn't see anything. He then heard a beeping and he could see everyone on the bridge. They were all unconscious. He touched his face and realized that his sunglasses were gone and broken on the floor. Great, jus' great, he thought and then he got to his feet and made his way to the nearest console.
"Ensign Sagara t' Engineering" he said groggily.
Steve leapt on the message.
"What's going on up there ensign?" he said.
"We had Zirdek under control when transporter beams started appearin' all over th' bridge. I was knocked ou' and woke up jus' a momen' ago."
"How's the rest of the crew on the bridge?" asked Steve.
"In a word sir, unconscious. I don'..."
Gareth started trailing off when he realized that there were too many bodies on the bridge to just be members of the crew on the bridge. He got to his feet and approached one of the bodies. He rolled it over onto its back and saw a Cardassian face. Steve was getting worried. What had happened to the ensign.
"Ensign? What's happening?" he said slowly into the com.
"May I ask wha' ya did t' knock all of us out Commander? I'll tell ya why I asked in a momen'" said Gareth, not taking his eyes off the face.
Steve became perplexed but he still answered the question. "We sent in some stun grenades."
"Well, then I guess I should congratulate ya Commander. No' only did ya knock ou' all of us on th' bridge, bu' also the people who came t' get Zirdek outta here. I am currently lookin' at a Cardassian face."
"There's a security team outside the bridge. They can take into custody any others that aren't with us."
"How come they haven' come in then ye'?"
Steve acquired a wry grin which Gareth could hear in his voice.
"Because the doors are locked."
"Ah. Tha' would explain it. Hold on."
He stood up and went to a console. There was a beeping sound at the captain's chair. So Zirdek's alarms are still up eh?[/i] thought Gareth. He once again maneuvered around them and unlocked the doors. An armed security team came in and checked all the bodies. One of them approached Gareth.
"You all right?" he asked.
Gareth was about to say that he was fine when he once again felt a trickle of blood make its way down the side of his face.
"I'll be goin' t' sickbay with th' rest of th' group." he sighed.
He was helped to his feet and was taken down to sickbay.

For once things were going right and it was about time. =^= Ensign Sagara, well done, get yourself to sickbay and I will catch up with you later. =^= Steve said =^= Yes sir, thank you. =^= =^= Steve to Duchek report =^= =^= Commander, all of the crew seem to be ok, there are some minor injuries but nothing a night in sickbay wont fix but as the Ensign said we do seem to have Cardassian up here with us. =^= =^= Understood, I want all of the Cardassian's as well as Commander Sokath taken to holding cells under heavy armed guards, I cant take the risk of there being anymore Cardassian hiding onboard. =^= =^= Understood sir. =^= Duchek replied =^= oh and Duchek one last thing, I want all and I mean all of our crew that were on that bridge taken to sickbay, no exceptions, that includes the Commodore and they are to be held their until I say otherwise. =^= =^= I am on it now sir =^= and with that Duchek got to work. Steve looked at Harash-kyat and smiled "Commander thanks for taking over here, its been a great help." "No problem commander, was nice to muck in and help." Harash-kyat replied "I was hoping you would say that, I need you to stay incharge here atleast until everything is sorted and we return to the StarBase." "I think I can manage that" "Good" said Steve relived as he was tired and not looking for another fight with the commander. "There are a few things I need you to sort as soon as possible. I need this ship back to a condition that could take on a fleet of war ships as I think our friends will be back to get their men we have just arrested." Steve was hoping they wouldn't send a fleet but in these times nothing surprised him. "I also want you to take a look at one of these Cardassian's, they where some how shielded from our sensors and invisible to the naked eye, there could be more onboard and I need away to find them." "Understood Commander." Harash-kyat said with a nod. "I will be in sickbay if you need me." Steve turned and tapped his comm badge =^= Steve to FarloTejharet =^= =^= Go ahead commander =^= =^= I need you to report to the holding cells and assist me in questioning our prisoners, I will arrive in about 30mins, meet me there then =^= =^= Aye sir =^= Steve walked off and headed for sickbay. Off: Well does seem a lil slow but I guess everyone ate to many xmas pies and cant make it to the computer Fingers cross it will pick up in the next week.

Harash-kyat smiled relieved that the crisis seemed to be over. He was not a man of action he was a man of the simple quiet life of engines and science. The quiet peace that he had been enjoying was shattered within seconds of Steve leaving the Engine Room. "Harashie? Harashie?" Jalli-tols voice cut through the engine room like a knife through... well like a skull thought Harash-kyat graphically. "Here my dear" he waved and emerged from the small office next to engineering "Whats going on? Are we under attack? And why did you call me?" "All in good time, I ll fill you in later but right now I could do with some assistance. I need this ship operational - I need to co-ordinate from here put I could do with someone going up to the bridge and checking all the consoles are still working. " "Very well dear I ll help you out."
Commander Jalli-tol left engineering and headed up to the bridge. Security seemed to be swarming all over the place. Medcial staff likewise were running to and fro. She saw stretchers being carried out some carrying Sokath, others Cardassians. What was going on!!. She strode on to the bridge and peered through the smoke that was slowly being cleared by the environmental controls. Noticing that the Commodore was one of the people being taken to Sickbay she demanded, "Okay then. Whose in charge around here, and what exactlys going on?"

Sokath was lying, unconscious on a small, and very hard bed in the brig. Opening his eyes he could make out a few large figures in the cell opposite him, and some very large looking weapons on the security guards he saw standing watch. Taking to his feet the XO felt great paint in the back of his head, and a very strong sense of dizziness.
“wher…where am i?” questioned the Vulcan, to anyone who could hear him.
One of the armed guards turned to address him “you’re in the…” at that very moment FarloTejharet walked into the room. As soon as he entered and saw the guard talking to Sokath he stopped him
“that’s enough, no talking to the prisoners, even if he’s the XO” ordered Farlo “At least not until Steve gets here”
A few minutes passed before steve arrived…
Steve entered the brig and approached Farlo. They looked to be discussing something, but Sokath couldn’t make out what they were saying. All he did know was that his head was still spinning and he felt like something very bad had happened to him…

Gareth made his way down to sickbay and just managed to stumble over to a biobed before his legs gave out from underneath him. He was helped to his feet and then helped onto the biobed. He laid down and started chanting slowly to himself to disengage his mind from his body. He thought about his past and how he was teased as a child for being optically "blind". How his father got him sunglasses that were opaque from an outside perspective but allowed Gareth to see. He then went over everything that had happened on the bridge. When he next came back to a conscious level of thinking about his surroundings, he realized that his head had a dull ache but that he wasn't bleeding anymore. He opened his eyes and it took a moment for the sounds to provide him with a picture. He slowly sat up and looked around. He could see people milling about taking care of patients. A nurse approached him and he lowered his eyes to the biobed.
"You really shouldn't be on your feet Ensign," she said.
"I know. I only wish t' know wha' my injuries were," he said assuringly.
The nurse looked at the PADD in her hand and read it aloud to him.
"You suffered multiple concussions and a few lacerations on your hands, face, and scalp."
Gareth nodded and looked around again. The nurse saw his eyes and couldn't help but stare at them. She stepped towards him and he looked at her. She read the PADD and nowhere did it say that he had lost his sight as a result of the concussions. Confusion knit her brows and Gareth smiled.
"I was born blind and with this hairstyle. Some connect those with th' fact tha' I was born on All Hallows Eve as some know it."
The nurse nodded as it made sense, in an odd way. She then gently pushed him so he was lying back down on the biobed. Gareth fell asleep and felt a hypospray applied to his neck. He drifted off into dreams of his childhood training sessions with his father.

Farlo and Steve lead the XO out into the corridor, with armed guards accompanying them. The groups walked about five meters to the next room. The door swooshed open and revealed a desk, some chairs and a rather bland looking room, just what Steve wanted for his questioning of Sokath. Steve gestured for Sokath to enter the room, he then followed. The guards were asked to remain outside.
Taking to their seats Steve instructed the computer to start a voice and video recording of the interview. Farlo had requested to address the XO first and proceeded to ask questions about Sokaths past. The aim of such questions was to ascertain if the Vulcan, they knew and worked with was still in there.
Sokath replies to the questions were quick, concise and accurate. His head was still spinning and he had tried to tell Farlo and Steve that he had no memories of the past 12hours, but his plees fell on death ears.
Steve began with some more direct questioning…
<tag…questions?? Neone??? Steve when your back, ask away…answer for me n’all, break me back in Zirdek again if you want…just have fun!>

Steve looked at Farlo and nodded, Farlo knew this meant Steve was taking over. "Right you said that you remember nothing for the last 12 hours correct?" "That's right." "So what is the last thing you do remember?" Steve asked "I..." The Vulcan closed his eyes trying to remember. "I remember the opps console exploding and crewman T’Gar flew across the bridge." "So you do remember the attack on us, you are lying about not remembering." Steve said with a cold voice. "Wait" Sokath replied. "I remember being under attack, the bridge was rocking but we didn't have any idea who it was, there was no one on sensors." Steve looked puzzled, he couldn't remember any such attack but he let the commander finish telling his story. "We lost helm and weapons, nothing responded." Sokath paused for a moment "This is so hard to remember, everything is so faint." Steve opened his mouth to stop the commander from going on when he was beaten by Sokath's booming voice. "We lost the ship, Walker ordered everyone to abandon ship." He paused "Then he said..." "What did he say commander" Steve asked. "Computer end program." Steve looked at Farlo a little confused "Ensign what he is talking about?" "From the looks of it he is slowly remembering things that happened, but the images are coming so slowly that Commander Sokath couldn't tell it was a drill until the images had stopped." "What do you recommend?" Steve asked "At the moment I think we should wait and let him remember until he cant anymore, if what he says is true and he cant remember anything wile under the control of Zirdek we may be able to find out the moment he was infected, if that's the right word to use." Steve nodded at farlo in agreement. "What else do you remember commander?" Steve asked turning to the XO. "I remember sitting in my quarters, reading a pad, I cant remember what was on it and there was a sound." "What kind of sound?" "A beep, it was my computer" Steve could see in Sokath's eyes the pain at which he was trying to remember. Sokath eyes opened, larger than Steve had ever seen before. "It was a message, a high priority message from Starfleet. I looked at who it was from and it came from starbase Assailant so I opened it and it said...." "It said nothing!" Came a voice screaming out of Sokath's mouth and with that Sokath stood up and threw his arms in the air. =^= Farlo to Security, could do with a hand in here! =^= With that two guards came into the room and grabbed hold of Sokath "So you must be Zirdek, nice to meet you after all this time." "You will know nothing" came Zirdek voice trying to escape from the guards grasp. Steve looked at the guards and gave the order to return Sokath/Zirdek back to his holding cell. After Zirdek had left Steve turned to Farlo. "So what do you make of this?" "Well sir I have a feeling that Zirdek showing his face again right as we were going to find out what that message said isn't a coincidence." "I agree. I am going to Sokath quarters and see what I can make of this message. I want you to go down to sickbay and start taking some statements from crew, see what you can find out that might help, also a few were hurt so some might want to have a general talk with you, remember your main concern is the ship, anything that they say to you that could hurt or harm this ship or its crew needs to be passed on to me, that and order." "Understood sir" And Farlo left for sickbay. =^= Steve to Harash-kyat =^= =^= Go ahead =^= =^= What's your status? =^= =^= We are making slow but steady progress down here. =^= =^= Good, I need you to meet me outside Sokath's quarters as we have a lead on what's going on =^= =^= On my way =^=

Harash-kyat selected one of the more competent Ensigns to oversee the rest of the repairs and grabbed his tool kit. He had got halfway up to the Commanders quarters when his bondmate chimed in. "Harashy dear. I m stuck up on the bridge, in all the exctiement with getting people to sickbay and whatever there are no senior officers around" "Well what do you want me to do about it" "Well your bridge trained, and I am not" "Bah, I can't come I have an assignment. The Commodore is in Sickbay contact him." "Yes dear and thankyou for your help" Jalli-tol replied acidly.
Harash-kyat exited the turbolift and found Steve and Sagara already waiting. "Took your time" Steve commented a slight curve to his lips. Harash-kyat took that as a joke and bit back his naturally acerbic response. "Well I m here now, shall we go in." Steve approached the door and used his overrides to gain entry. "Okay, Gareth start searching the bedroom area look for anything unusual, documents anything" "Aye Sir" "Harash we'll check the terminals its probably encrypted." He ignored the use of his abbreviated name and settled down at the desk. It was encrypted, but Steve certainly fulfilled his role as an Intell officer and very quickly cracked it. "Here we are" He grinned as the screen unfroze and the main menu came up. "Anything in particular we're looking for?" "Yes" Steve nodded "He recieved a message from Assailant." "Right lets have a look." They scrolled down the list of contacts and messages most were from Vulcan and teh Assailant one stuck out like a sore thumb. "There it is, open it" Harash-kyat opened it up to be confronted by a mass of wavy lines in psychedlic colours. "Thats odd" Harash-kyat noted "Must be subspace interfence corrupting teh data file." " I m not so sure" Steve replied, his face grave "I recognise this, its an activation pattern" "A what?" "Its an intell term. Some races basically brainwash people in to being agents for them. They dont even know, they carry on their life until a signal like this is sent. The patterns trigger a release in the brain and an implanted alternate personality emerges with any number of objectives." "I see" Harash-kyat answered appalled at the depths to which people could stoop and wondered if Starfleet Intelliegence employed teh technique. "Where did it come from?" Steve asked pointing at the ID Harash-kyat opened up a diagnostic tool and analysed the message. "Ah yes now it did come from Assailant, ah but that wasnt its source." "It wasnt?" "No. It was routed through what looks like a public terminal." "So where did it come from?" "Thats easy" Harash-kyat grinned uncharacteristically, "Whoever did it was nt as clever as they thought, they left a finger print. It came via the Bajoran Embassy there. Someone routed it to the public terminal." "So it came from there" "No thats the trick. The message has a subspace imprint that is left by warp engines of a particular type." "So?" "The imprint was from a Galor Class Vessel." "The Cardassians! Well that explains their attack on us" "Indeed they sent the message via probably a remote device hidden in the bajoran embassy." "Incredible, but where doe this leave us" "Well we know Sokath has an implanted personality and that the cardassians did it, but why and how to remove it are anybodies guess"

"Wait" Steve said turning to look Harash-kyat in the eyes. "What?" "I do know how to remove it. When I used to work for Starfleet Intel we used this type of implanted personality on high ranking officials." "Starfleet wouldn't do something like that." "They would" Steve replied. "The war with the Klingon's did not go as well as many people think. After the borg attack at Wolf 359 a lot of Starfleet's resources went into combating them and attention was diverted from dangers closer to home. When the war started a lot of predictions were done to the outcome of the war and most of them left us on the loosing side. That's when Starfleet decided to put time and effort into this project we are now facing. "So you can remove it?" Harash-kyat said after a moment of silence. "Yes I can" "What can I do to help?" "I need you to clear sickbay for me off all staff apart from Dr Jones. I will access the shock therapy information from the Starfleet Intel Database and join you soon." <Tag> Harash-kyat, Dr Jones or anyone that wants to get involved

(Walker sat on a bio bed in sickbay. Luckily for himself he didn't get quite the extent of injuries that Gareth suffered but none the less he was very groggy from the grenades that were dropped onto the bridge. Walker was dying to leave sickbay and help out with the investigations but he had to wait for the Doctor to clear him first. After about 15 minutes of Walker waiting for the Doctor to finish up with Gareth he finally finished up and attended to Walker's health)
Jones: Commodore, did you sustain any injuries that need medical attention?
Walker: Well nothing much except a bad headache.
(None the less Jones took his tricorder out and scanned Walker)
Jones: You also have some internal bleeding in your leg.
(Walker looked down at his leg)
Walker: Must have missed that then.
(Jones applied some hyposprays to it and in seconds it disappeared)
Walker: Thank you Doctor, now with your approval I'll go on with my duties.
Jones: Commander Steve ordered that you stay here for now.
Walker: Well do me a favor and have Commander Steve come down here.
Jones: Aye sir.
(In a matter of 5 minutes Steve entered sickbay)
Walker: Commander, would you mind explaining why you've ordered me to stay here?
OFF: Sorry for my absence, midterms have kept me busy, and some illness but I'm back now.

Steve headed to his quarters. Once there he sat down at his computer station and entered his Starfleet Intel code. "Computer bring up information on project Intel84 Bata" The computer worked for a minute and bought up a screen full of information. "Computer bring up and filter the section marked 'removal' and download to this pad." Steve waited for the download to finish when his comm badge beeped. =^= Jones to Steve =^= =^= Go ahead Dr =^= =^= Walker wants to see you Sir and he isn't taking no as an answer. =^= =^= Ok I am on my way. =^= Mean while.... Harash-kyat walked into sickbay and looked around and saw a Commodore sitting on one of the beds with his back to the door. Harash-kyat guessed that this was the CO of the Victory, he had joined the ship after the Commodore had been shot and had never met him. "Commander, would you mind explaining why you've ordered me to stay here?" Walker barked. Harash-kyat stood to attention "Sir" Walker still with his back to the door listen to the 'sir' and realised it wasn't Steve's voice and turned around. "Your not Commander Steve" "No sir" Harash-kyat replied "Then who the hell are you and what are you doing on my ship?" "That's a long story sir and Commander Steve will explain everything when he arrives, in the mean time I need to get everyone out of sickbay." Harash-kyat got everyone apart from Walker and Dr Jones out and waited for Steve. Steve walked into sickbay holding his pad, he was welcomed by Walker with a less than happy face. "Harash did you do what I asked?" "Yes Steve, everyone apart from Dr Jones and the Commodore have been removed." Biting his lip so he didn't comment about the name shortage. "Good. Thank you." "What the hell is going on here Steve" Walker demanded. Steve told walker about everything that had happened, what they had found out and how they were going to fix it. "Are you sure this will work Commander?" Walker said to Steve "I hope so sir." Steve handed his pad to Harash-kyat. "Can you start to set up everything on this pad. I need the shock treatment device ready as soon as possible with everything else on this list. Take the Doctor to help you." "What can I do?" Walker asked Steve "Sir all I need is for the equipment to be set up, if you want to help then join the Commander and the Doctor." Walker went off to help set up as quickly as possible. He wanted his ship back as well as his FO and he would do anything to make that process happen quicker. Steve started to get himself ready and waited for someone to come and tell him they were ready. <Tag> Anyone Off: Just so you know I have no idea about what this shock treatment will do or what needs to be set up so feel free to make everything up

Jall-tol paced the bridge once more. This was not her natural environment and she was not happy, and if Jalli-tol wasnt happy then no one was. The few crewman and ensigns left on the bridge had already had more than an ear full. Despite being a full commander she had never taken the bridge officers training course, and for good reason, she was a scientist plain and simple. Finally her patience ran out and tapped her Comm. "Commander Steve." She requested "Here" "When can I expect someone with command experience on the bridge?" "Not sure we're kind of busy." "Thats not good enough. We have potential hostiles out there and we need a competent person up here." "I m well aware of that but I am tied up here trying to cure Sokath" "Well what about the Captain, isnt he better?" "Yes well he is awake hes here assisting me and Harash-kyat " "Then he'll do. If I m not relieved I m walking off this brige in 10 minutes." "I ll see what I can do. Steve out"
Steve crossed sickbay to Jimmy "Hey Doc, The Captains alright isnt he?" "Well essentially yes, His wound is still sensitive and he is still pretty weak. He needs to rest." "So theres nothing to stop him resting say on the bridge?" Jimmy frowned "Well no. But..." "Thats okay then, we're in tough times we need someone on the bridge" "Well as long as it is rest" "Excellent" Steve crossed back to the Commodore, "Captain. Er about me ordering you to rest and needing your help, consider that order rescinded, They need you on the bridge. We have a potentially hostile ship out there and we need someone with command expereince up there. I cant go Im the only one who can help Sokath and Harash-kyat isnt bridge rated"

Walker: Indeed, sounds like a plan Commander. (Walker was quick to get to his feet. He hated feeling useless just sitting around in sickbay. He left sickbay feeling a little drowsy and weak. It felt a little like having a fever but he shrugged it off and took the turbolift up to the bridge. On the bridge he saw Jalli-tol in the center seat) Jalli-tol: Are you Walker? Walker: No, Commander Steve sent me up to let you know you have to stay in command for a few more hours. Jalli-tol: Very funny.. (Walker grinned) Walker: Yes, you're relieved from Command Commander. Jalli-tol: It's about time. Walker: Anything to report though Commander? <Tag Jalli-tol> (Iv just modified the post to correct a few mistakes - it was Jalli-tol on the bridge not Harash-kyat

"Where do you want me to start" Jalli-tol snorted derisivly "We have a possessed FO, an Injured CO, The ship was attacked by a strange vessel and boarded by a Cardassian landing party. I think that just about covers it all" With that she span on her heel and exited the bridge.
Walker sat back in his chair and called up the logs to review. He had barely got half way down the first one when the familiar didi-doo noise echoed from the aft console behind him. "Sir I m picking up two incoming vessels." "Identity?" "Its the same ship that attacked us earlier and its..." The crewman paused to check the sensor read out "... a Keldon Class Cardassian Warship." "On screen" Walker demanded.
