*Tiffani made her way to the bridge after a wonderful night sleep, it had been good to feel relaxed again but she knew that time would come to an end once the child was born, she entered the turbolift and commanded it to the bridge*
*she thought to herself as the turbolift swished up the long shaft, she felt the sudden stop as it was becomining all to familar to her, she placed her hand on her stomach and wondered if everything was alright with the child, she would make an appointment to have a checkup soon*
=/\=lt cmdr Savali to Sickba=/\=
<Tag Sickbay>
=/\= Can you please schedule an appoint for me sometime within the next day or two please=/\=
<Tag sickbay>
*just as the finished replying the door came slid open revealing the bridge, to the right you could see some of the engineers working away and Luke was just walking to toward the turbolift as another had just took his seat at Navigations, she smiled as Felix was setting in the Captains chair she made her way over to him and sit in the chair on his right* Problems? *she questioned as she could feel the tension and fustration from around her*
<Tag Felix>

The arrival at the star was postponed for another day, since the navigational systems had a slight malfunction.
J'Leera and Andrew's work could not really continue untill they actually got to the neutron star and begin closely examining it.
He yawned and stretched his arms as he entered the final digits into his report, after which he gave it to ensign Holman who brought it to the acting captain.
''Well,'' Andrew began, ''I guess that's about what we can do before we get there.''
J'Leera nodded. ''Perhaps we could make sure that all systems we are going to need are operational, and that we have all neede equipment,'' she said.
''Exelent,'' Andrew said, ''indeed we should make an inventory concerning the research. If you make sure we have all devices we need, then I'll make sure that all systems, databases and programs we are going to make use off are available.''
''Sure,'' J'Leera said, as she sat down in a chair, and began overlooking inventory lists, marking what they'd need.''
''I'll be right back,'' Andrew said, ''I'm going to get me something to eat. Can I bring you anything?''
<Tag J'Leera>
Andrew stepped out of the astrophysics lab, and greeted a passing officer, while he went to find his way to the messhall.

****Tiger Shark, 1800 hours****
In Wood's quarters, a very loud groan could be heard, which was a certain operations officer waking up. Noticing he was late for duty, Wood quickly put on a uniform (and fell down doing so), and threw a cup of coffee in (mouth burns). This double task of him was too busy for a man like him. Grabbing some PADD's, he ran out of his quarters and into the hallway.
****Tiger Shark, 1839 hours****
"Sorry I'm late," Wood exhaled when he flew onto the bridge, fastening his uniform and dropping his PADD's. "It's quite alright, Commander, don't let it happen again." Sounded the soothing voice of Savali. Wood grabbed his PADD's, nodded and walked towards the ops station.
The night was uneventful, two comets, a message from Starfleet telling them the latest news in the Federation (Trade negotiations between the Vulcans and Tettunians kept failing over 8 micrograms of dilithium), and the regular things. Savali already went to bed, followed by a radiant Tiffani (there was something about her, something was happening). Anyway, when the night shift crew entered the bridge, Wood was relieved it was all over.
"Commander, would you mind locking maintenance room 291? An engineer found it open yesterday, and since it's on your way to your quarters." The Ensign stated. "Alright, I'll have a look."
****Deck 7, 0236 hours****
Wood walked through the darkness of Deck 7, which was a power saving area during night shift. Greeting an occasional crewman, he made his way to maintenance room 291, and found it to be closed. "Someone must've locked it before I got here." Being the control-freak he was, he unlocked it and walked in. It was very dark in there. "Computer, lights."
When the lights came online, Wood looked around the room, smelling something. He walked around the corner, and his face became whiter than the whitest star. Stumbling backwards in shock, he reached for his commbadge. =/\=Wood to Savali. Sir, you had better come down here.
A drowsy Savali sounded over the comm system. =/\=What is it, Commander? Let it wait.
=/\=Sir. Wood paused to take a deep breath. =/\=Get down here!
Wood looked around one more time, and saw Thirteen.... Dead..
OOC: This is the real beginning of the mission, and Thirteen's death has been authorised by himself.

--Deck 1, Bridge, 0930 hours--[/i]
she smiled as Felix was setting in the Captains chair she made her way over to him and sit in the chair on his right* Problems? *she questioned as she could feel the tension and frustration from around her*
"Just a miner problem with the navigational array, which will postpone our arrival to the star, nothing to worry about", he said
Meanwhile he was thinking that he was going to say a few words to the CEO of Bellicose when they are back, if the ship is in for a refit it is expected to have its systems working perfectly.
--Captains ready room, 1100 hours--[/i]
Felix was in his ready room going over the report from Cmdr. Laika and mr. Greenvalley. It seemed complete enough; they appeared to have anticipated all the problems that might arise from the star and its energy levels.
Then he looked at the proposed location for the device, it seemed logical enough and it did not appear to interfere with any of the ship systems. After he was done reading the reports he opened a channel with cmdr. Laika and informed her that he agrees with their plan and that at this time he has no suggestions.
--Felix and Tiffanies quarters, 0236 hours--[/i]
A drowsy Savali sounded over the comm system. =/\=What is it, Commander? Let it wait.
=/\=Sir. Wood paused to take a deep breath. =/\=Get down here!
And the channel closed. What on earth could be wrong now Felix thought as he was getting up from bed? Tiffani woke up and looked at him:
"What’s wrong?", she asked
"Nothing just a small problem go back to sleep.", he said as he went over to put on his uniform, he was done in a minute and then he went out of his quarters towards the turbolift and then down to deck 7
--Deck 7, 0239 hours--[/i]
Felix was going towards the place where Wood told him to come. When he arrived he saw a pale Wood standing by the hatch.
"What’s wrong commander", he asked
"You should take a look for yourself", Wood said
And Felix went into the room. He looked around and at first he didn’t see anything but after a moment he saw it, Thirteen, dead and blood splattered all around. At first he was shocked but after that he went out and joined Wood.
=/\=Savali to dr. Buster, get down to deck 7 right away, and it cant wait=/\=
<Buster>
=/\=Savali to security, get down to deck 7 we have a problem=/\=
=/\=Savali to Lohnen, get down to deck 7 ASAP=/\=
<Lohnen>
=/\=Savali to bridge, intruder alert go to yellow alert=/\=
And a moment later the alarm sounded of, with yellow lights flashing all around.
“Mr. Wood are you feeling ok”, Felix asked not looking much better then Wood himself
<Wood>
“Do you have any idea what happened here?”, he asked
<Wood>

Wood did not reply straight away, but when Felix asked again, he stammered: "It can't be. Who would do something like this?"
Looking from Felix to Thirteen, then glancing back at Felix, Wood was kinda shaking and pale. "I.... I wouldn't know. Starfleet officers... they don't kill." Wood looked around. "I gotta sit down."
While Wood walked unsteadily out of the room, he heard Greenvalley contacting Savali.

Andrew jumped up from his bed, the yellow alert that sounded had woken him up rather unpleasantly.
=/\= Greenvalley to mister Savali, what's going on? =/\= he asked in a yawn.
=/\= We have a situation here, mister Greenvalley, stay in your quarters, in an hour I'll summon everyone to the messhall. Be on your guard, Savali out. =/\=
''Right,'' Andrew said sarcasticly, as he walked over to his closet, where he assembled his clothes which he put on.
Hurriedly he left his quarters. ''Computer locate mister Savali.''
*Mister Savali is located in maintenance room 291, deck 7.*
Andrew flung himself into a turbolift: ''Deck 7!''
He almost toppled out when he arrived, making his way to the maintenance room fast.
Greenvally came to an abrupt halt when he arrived, getting an annoyed look from Savali: ''What are you doing here?''
''I came to check out the situation, you can't expect me to be woken up at half past two and then being told to stay put for another hour, now what's going on?'' Greenvalley informed a bit angry.
''Have a look,'' said a shivering Wood, sitting on the floor resting his back against the wall.
Andrew stepped into the maintenance room. The stench was horrible, and he looked down, into the corner of the room.
There, in the corner, lay a young male ex-Borg, covered in bloodstains. He had a big open wound in his chest, out of which white, squirmy creatures were finding there way in and out of the body.
''I don't know what to say,'' Andrew mumbled as he walked out again and looked at Savali with a shocked look on his face.
''Me neither, me neither...'' Savali said, staring at the ground.
A sleepily looking Buster stepped out of the turbolift, joined by a yawning Danny.
''What's the nighty prob,'' Danny asked.
''Yeah, why's everyone out of bed?'' Buster yawned. ''And why am I out of bed,'' he mumbled which noone could hear.
''I'm afraid you have to see for yourself,'' Savali said with a pale face.
A minute later both Buster and Danny stepped out of the room again with a stunned look on their faces.
=/\= This is captain Savali to all crewmembers, my apologies for waking you up, but you are all required to report in at cargobay two within an hour. =/\=
''Cargo bay?'' Greenvalley wanted to know.
''There is not enough room for the entire crew in the messhall,'' Felix explained, ''therefore the cargobay will be nessercary.''

OFF: I'm still the doctor Miss Savali, let's just pretend you said Buster instead of sickbay. ;D ON: Buster had just finished his meal and was about to go to bed when his combadge beeped. He quickly jumped to his desk and tapped it. =/\=Lieutenant Commander Savali to Buster=/\= =/\= This is Buster =/\= Buster replied. =/\= Can you please schedule an appoint for me sometime within the next day or two please=/\= =/\= Certainly Miss Savali, tomorrow would be fine. Just drop by whenever you like =/\= =/\= Thank you =/\= Miss Savali said, and another beep indicated that the conversation was over. Buster closed his eyes and dropped back on the bed. A few minutes later he was sleeping peacefully. He was awakened another few minutes later though. His badge was beeping again. Buster smashed his head in his pillow and his arm reached to fetch the combadge. After accidentally throwing a small wooden figure from his desk Buster managed to get hold of the badge. He yawned one more time and pressed it. =/\=Savali to dr. Buster, get down to deck 7 right away, and it cant wait=/\= Buster was about to reply, but he wasn't given the oppurtunity. Yawning again, he crawled out of his bed. That was the second Savali this evening. He began to wonder if he would get some sleep. He was alarmed by the sudden yellow alert though. He quickly dressed and exited his quarters on his way to the turbolift. He had a short conversation with Danny, who he met on his way, and then stood before Savali. ---------------------------------------------------- A short while later Buster exited the room, looking pale. There seemed to be little he could still do for Thirteen. Buster wasn't able to think normally. He just wondered who could have brutally murdered Thirteen. He just quietly nodded when Savali said that they would have a meeting in the Cargo Bay. OOC: Sorry for the short post, It's a bit of a hard week. Too much tests. (and too much learning)

Luke, Jeret and Max were in the Astrometrics lab when the alarm sounded. Luke thought that he had finally managed to get the Navigational array online. After much searching Luke had found a small circuit breaker that was causing the wrong info to be sent. He assumed it was an accident during the refit, however he couldn't help have a feeling that someone had wanted to stop them arriving at the Star.
"Whats that?" Max asked.
"Yellow alert." Luke replied, a little confused.
"Computer what is that reason behind the yellow alert?"
=^= A senior staff Level 2access code is required for this question. Please...=^= The computer was stopped mid sentence as Commander Savali's voice came over the comm.
"You heard the Commander you two. Get to the Cargo bay. I'll meet you there." Luke said.
The two officers nodded and headed for Cargo Bay 2. Luke checked that everything was secure and before leaving astrometrics activated a lock on the door. He had a nasty feeling about what was happening and he didn't want to take any chances. With eberything secure he headed to Cargo Bay 2. Nervous about what could require all of the crew to assemble in the dead of night.

Rye Had been in Jeffries Tube 843-71Beta when the call came in. He got up, then, realizing a moment too late that he was in a jeffries tube, Rye smashed his head on an EPS power conduit, which fizzled, and shut down.
"Damn It!"exclaimed Rye.
Rye was wondering what had happenned, so as he continued his work, He contacted Luke.
(=/\=) Fizpatrick to Luke
"Luke here, Rye. Did you hear what happenned?'
"No, did you?"
"Nor have I. I'm on my way to the cargo bay. I'll meet you there."
Ok. By the way I think I've got the last of the errors out of the navigational system, but you can check when you get back to the bridge."
Rye then went to the turbolift, which opened to reveal J'leera's worried face. Rye got in, and the lift to sped towards the cargo bay. The lift stopped, and opened at an adjacent corridor of the Cargo Bay. The two officers walked towards the Bay, and a crowd of the crew were walking in. J'leera and Rye shuffled into the bay, and got a seat in the front row, that had been reserved for the officers. They then sat down next to Luke, and were about to converse, but just then, Commander Savali stepped up to the podium.
"I'm sorry to pull you all out of bed like this, but desperate times call for desperate measures. 1 hour ago, the body of Lieutenant Thirteen was discovered in Maintenance Room 291." Savali paused at this for a moment and let the crew react. He then began again. "As this is an unbelievable occurrance on a Federation starship, I am ordering an interrogation of every man and woman on this vessel. We will not be returning to port or any planets until the murderer is found. We will begin with a thourogh forensic investigation, and the interrogation. Our mission will go forth. You are all ordered to co-operate with Lieutenant Lohnen and Lieutenant Commander Savali. This act will not go unpunished. Return to your duty stations."
Slowly, the crew left the cargo bay. Luke had decided to go to his quarters, and had invited Rye and J'leera to his quarters for coffee, so they told him to wait for one minute while they talked to Commander Savali. Rye and J'leera walked up to Commander Savali and asked him what they could do. He replied just to do what they would normally do, so with that the three friends left for Luke's quarters. As they went, no one said anything. They were still grasping the horror of what had occurred.

Luke was just about to enter the turbolift that would take him to the Deck of Cargo Bay 2. When Rye contacted him.
=^= Flitzpatrick to Luke. =^=
Luke tapped his comm badge. "Go ahead Rye."
=^= Why are we all to proceed to the Cargo Bay? =^=
"I have no idea Rye but it doesn't sound good. A lot of strange things have been happening at the moment. Like just now I found a circuit breaker in the nav. systems. As if someone was trying to stop us from going somewhere."
=^= Odd. When we've found out why we need to go down to the Cargo Bay Ill have a look at that circuit breaker, see if I can identify its purpose. =^=
"Much apreciated Rye. Are you on your way to the Cargo Bay now?" Luke asked.
=^= Yes I will be there as soon as I get this damn EPS conduit back online. It shouldn't be too long. Ill meet you down there. Rye out =^=
The commwent silent and Luke continued on his journey to Cargo Bay 2, wondering what was going to be revealed.

J’Leera was busy at work with the pulsar model when she received the message to report to the cargo bay. She glanced up, rather annoyed at being disturbed from her work. She had finally gotten the holographic star to rotate properly after working on it for 5 hours when the message came. The image quickly faded as J’Leera turned the machine off with a quiet click and she left.
As she walked down the corridor, she was still thinking about the project though. Since the message hadn’t specified why they were to report to the cargo bay, J’Leera assumed that it was something minor. Perhaps some new equipment arrived, she speculated.
As she walked along, her mind began to wander again and she wondered about the energy output levels of the pulsar. She began to go over some of the basic facts about pulsars to try to figure out this problem. (the following is taken out of Astronomy magazine, November issue, pg. 39)
“Well, as the star’s core collapsed to form the neutron star, it had to spin faster and faster, like a figure skater bringing her arms toward her body during a spin,. It’s simply conservation of angular momentum. In this situation, the star’s magnetic filed is compressed and intensified. A neutron star’s magnetic field is more than a trillion times stronger than Earth’s. Such as highly magnetized body becomes a gigantic electrical generator producing trillions of volts that enable engaged particles to race away from the star’s surface. Magnetic field lines channel the particles into two narrow beams that shoot out in opposite direction and emit a stream of electromagnetic energy, in frequencies from radio to X ray. These beams sweep around space, like a lighthouse beam skims a coastline. Radio telescopes, for example, observe each rotation as a pulse of energy, a periodic blip. This “pulsar” marks the spot where the once massive star, too heavy to die quietly, tore itself apart as a supernova. The pulsar then spins a thousand times a second. After millions of years it slows down and then is heard from no more.
She paused for a second and considered this information further. This particular pulsar however, is a very old one and therefore isn’t rotating as fast as it once had. This is good since if the pulsar were rotating at a rate of a thousand times per seconds, placing an array directly over the energy beam in a synchronize orbit would be virtually impossible. Now that the pulsar has slowed to one rotation in 4 seconds, it was.
Just as she was going over this information, she nearly ran into Rye as he was coming down the corridor.
“Oh, Rye! Sorry, I wasn’t paying attention,” she apologized.
“No harm done,” he said.
She gave him a questioning look, “Do you know what’s going on?”
“No, I don’t. I doubt that I know anymore than you do,” he answered honestly.
“I haven’t seen Mr. Greenvalley in a while, do you suppose that he’s down there?”
He shrugged, “Maybe…”

After Lohnen and Buster saw why they were called down to deck 7 in the middle of the night Felix started to speak.
"Mr. Buster, please conduct an autopsy on lt. Thirteen’s body, and try to determine the exact cause of death and the weapon used.", he finished
<Buster>
"Mr. Lohnen you will take over the duties of the security officer, as other then ...., you are the man most qualified for the job."
"I understand", Lohnen said
"Seal of this part of deck 7, and check the sensor logs to see who was in this part of the ship at the time of Thirteen’s death, you will be informed by mr. Buster what is the time of death.", he continued
<Lohnen>
"You will obviously need to interrogate some people and you will be assisted in that by our counselor, as she can sense if someone is lying", he finished
<Lohnen>
"Also coordinate with commander Laika and have her conduct a scan of the ship for life forms or any possible devices or particles that might be used to conceal ones life sign and if something of the sort is found, you know what to do."
<Lohnen>
He stood for a moment trying to remain calm because of the crew he couldn’t allow himself to crack at a time like this.
"Mr. Wood are you feeling any better", he asked
<Wood>
After he was done talking to Wood he turned to the rest of the people.
"Should you discover anything, anything at all no matter how small it might seem, you are to inform Cmdr. Wood and myself, i will repeat this in the cargo bay also."
"Mr. Greenvalley, i believe you have a certain level of expertise in handling and analyzing sensor data so you are to assist ms. Laika and mr. Lohnen in the analysis of the sensor logs. As i am sure if i told you to stay put you would not do so im better of sending you of to do something", he said trying to light up the atmosphere
"I will inform Starfleet of what has occurred and that we will be delayed on conducting the mission, mr. Wood if you feel up to it please walk with me", he said
--Captains ready room, 10 minutes later[/i]
After he was finished informing Starfleet command of their situation he turned back to Wood.
"Mr. Wood i really don’t know what to think of this situation", he began
<Wood>
"I have never seen anything like this happen, on a Starfleet vessel where everyone knows everyone, and i can even less believe that a Starfleet officer would do such a thing", he said
<Wood>
"I know that you are in shock and i am sure that we all are but we owe it to Thirteen to get to the bottom of this. Also i am counting on you to try and help during this investigation as much as you can.", Felix said
<Wood>
--Cargo bay, 0316 hours[/i]
After everyone assembled in the cargo bay Felix started to talk.
"Something shocking and terrible has happened on this vessel today, our own CTSO Lt. Thirteen was found dead today on deck 7", he said looking at the responses of everyone present
"And if you know anything about what has happened no matter how small it might be or how irrelevant it might seem, please come forward and inform either Cmdr. Wood or me.", he continued
"Also if you have noticed anything strange during the last few days, again i say no matter how small it might seem, come forward and tell us, you can contact us at any time, because we owe it to lt. Thirteen to get to the bottom of this, i want you to know i am not suspecting anyone, and this might just be some horrible accident, and if that is the case please come forward and tell us what happened, no one will do anything bad to you if that is the case.", he stopped
"However we can not allow this event to affect the functionality of this vessel, so i ask that everyone who is on duty return to their stations and everyone else to return to bed and in the morning or at any other time should you remember something do not hesitate in contacting either myself or mr. Wood. Also in 1 hour there will be a meeting of the senior staff. That would be all you are all dismissed.", he finished
After he was done the crew slowly started to pure out of the room one by one. Felix went over to Lohnen, Wood, Buster and Tiffani, who were silently speaking on the side.
"Have you sensed anything from the crew, any feeling of guilt anything that might help us?", he asked
<Tiffani>
"Anything new to report mr. Lohnen, mr. Buster?", he asked
<Buster, Lohnen>

Luke walked into the Cargo Bay nd muscled his way through the crew. It was time like this you remembered how big the Tiger Sharks crew was.
The Cargo Bay doors opened again and J'Leera and Rye walked in. Luke signalled to them both and they joined him in a relatively free of crowd area.
Luke was just about to ask J'Leera about what she though was happening when Commander Savali spoke. Luke listened intently to the speech Savali gave and felt as if he was going to be sick. How... who? The questions were endless and Luke's tired mind could not comprehend what had happened. Thirteen dead? How could a Starfleet officer do that, it just didn't seem real.
His thoughts wandered to what Felix had said about any little information and he wondered if the malfunctioning nav. systems and the purposefully deployed circuit breaker could have anything to do with this cold blooded and vile murder. He made a point to himself that he should contact either Wood or Savali as soon as the Senior staff meeting was over and relay his information.
Luke looked at J'Leera and Rye. They both looked equally as shocked and pale. Luke couldn't handle this. Why was everyone he knew getting murdered? Was it hsi fault, was he a curse. Just thinking about it made him want to heave.
The crew slowly left the Cargo Bay and headed for their respective stations or beds. Commander Savali was in conversation with Buster, Danny and Wood so Luke decided to leave. The Cargo Bay now had an unhealthy feeling about it.
"I am going to go to my quaters. I think I need some tea or maybe some coffee before the senior staff meeting." Luke said. Trying to keep his voice level. "You are both welcome to join me if you wish." He said to J'Leera and Rye.

Andrew felt drowsy after this hectic hour.
He'd assist with the sensor logs, something he was indeed good at.
Andrew walked over to Savali after the acting captain was done speaking, ''Would you mind if I attend the senior staff meeting as well, since I'll be assisting with the investigation.''
''Not at all, you are welcome to join us mister Greenvalley,'' Felix replied.
Andrew'd witnessed the shock going through the cargo bay. Losing fellow crewmembers was always likely to happen a few times during service, but, Andrew guessed, it'll be something you never get used to.
He stretched his arms above his head, and followed the people out of the cargobay while he yawned.
Andrew decided to get a hot cup of tea before going to bed, and went to the mess hall where he replicated some tea, which he carefully sipped away, looking out of the windows, into the darkness of the universe.

J’Leera and Rye quickly made their way into the cargo bay and waited. She glanced around the room, but did not see anything out of the ordinary. Luke came in a few minutes later and was about to speak to her, when Savali began to address them.
"Something shocking and terrible has happened on this vessel today, our own CTSO Lt. Thirteen was found dead today on deck 7"
J’Leera quickly tried to stifle a soft cry by slapping her hand over her mouth. How could Thirteen be dead? How? How?
Luke had heard her and glanced over, his eyes saddened. J’Leera did not notice, but instead had her attention focused on the Captain. As she listened, her eyes began to water. She tried to stop them, but soon felt the tears began to roll down her face. Someone touched her arm and she looked to see Rye handing over a tissue. She took it gratefully and quickly wiped the tears away.
She then listened in numbed silence as Savali continued, explaining what they were going to do. The science mission was called of, but J’Leera didn’t care. All she could think about was her good friend being dead. On their last mission, Thirteen saved her life. She only wished that she could have returned the favor.
When Savali finished, he dismissed everyone. They began to slowly wander off, still in shock from the horrible news. Luke approached both J’Leera and Rye and asked if they would like the come over to his quarters for a drink.
Since J’Leera wasn’t officially on duty and since the mission was cancelled, she readily agreed. Hoping that the drink and the company would soothe her.
So the three of them left the cargo bay together and headed out. J’Leera glanced over at Luke, wondering how he was taking this. She felt absolutely horrible and couldn’t even imagine what Luke was thinking.
When they reached Luke’s quarters, they each took a seat after getting their drinks and just starred at one another, not knowing what to say. Luke sat across from J’Leera, starring into his cup and Rye was sitting off to the side, starring up at the ceiling as if studying the paneling.
She sighed and took a small sip of her drink. A horrible feeling overcame her and she quickly put the drink down. Knowing what was going to happen, she stood up and went into the next room to be by herself. She then sat in the corner and sobbed quietly.
After a few minutes, she managed to pull herself back togeather and went back out with Luke. They looked very concerned, but when Rye started to say something, she shook her head. She would rather deal with it alone.

****Deck 7****
Wood glanced towards Savali. "Not really... It's still hard to grasp." He looked down for some time, then straight into Savali's eyes. "I still can't believe a Starfleet Officer would do this... And I will make sure this madman gets caught."
Savali sighed.. "Calm down, Mr. Wood. Anger won't make it any better. I will launch a full investigation. In the mean time, I'd like you to speak with the counsellor."
"Aye."
****Ready Room****
Wood just stood there, staring at Savali. He didn't know what to do either.
"We'll have to interview every crewmember very thoroughly. That includes Greenvalley."
"Yes sir. My training includes a basic forensic examination course. Perhaps I could help with that?"
"If that's not going to be a problem.. I mean, you will have to be inside the maintenance room a lot during such an examination."
"Right now I'm only interested in finding the one who did this, Captain."
****Cargo Bay****
Right after the speech, Wood walked over to Lohnen, Buster and mrs Savali.
"Lieutenant" Wood said to Buster "I will be conducting the forensic exam, so we will have to coordinate the investigation. When will you be starting the autopsy?"
<Tag Buster>
"Lieutenant" Wood looked at Lohnen "Can I be assigned a security staff to help with the investigation?"
<Tag Lohnen>
"Commander, will it be possible to schedule some counselling sessions?"
<Tag Tiffani>
After leaving the Cargo Bay, Wood directly went to the holodeck. There was no way he would be able to sleep right now, and he felt... angry.
"Computer, load holoprogram Pi-6922" After the doors opened, Wood stepped into an arena, picked up a phaser, and started shooting the targets.

OOC: Okay I'm back now. Sorry I haven't posted in a while but university kept me busy. Anyway, I've caught up now and I'll pick up the story when Wood asks for a security detail. Until further notice, I will take over as CTSO. On:
****Deck 7**** "Lieutenant" Wood looked at Lohnen "Can I be assigned a security staff to help with the investigation?" <Tag Lohnen>
"Of course Commander. I'll brief Security on the course I want to take and I'll send a forensics team first thing in the morning." "Thanks Lieutenant.
Löhnen walked away, feeling stunned and depressed. He had liked Thriteen a lot and he would deeply miss the comic questions the ex-Borg kept asking about ordinary human things he had never experienced. He would get to the bottom of this and have the killer's head on a silver platter.
=^=Löhnen to Security. All Security officers report to the Marine Briefing Room on Deck 5 Alpha. Mr Fitzpatrick, Commander Laika, please join us there too.=^=
- 10 minutes later -
Löhnen and O'Connor entered the briefing room. Everyone was already assembled. "Hello everyone. I won't say good evening because it's far from a good evening. Anyway, I'll get tot the point. For those of you who don't know me yet, I'm Lieutenant Löhnen, the Marine CO. This is Staff Sergeant O'Connor, my Marine XO. I have asked you here because of recent events with Lieutenant Thirteen. I will be taking over as CTSO so from now on you report to me. I want to get to the bottom of this and I'm going to need your help. I want every part of this ship checked, every closet turned upside down and every piece of evidence checked, double-checked and then re-checked again. If you need Marine assistance, you can co-ordinate with Sergeant O'Connor."
The Security staff shifted uneasily. Their Commander had just been assasinated and now they'd have to take orders from a Marine. Not everyone was happy about it, but at least a close co-operation of Security and Marine Departments would mean the most thorough investigation possible.
"Commander Laika, Lieutenant Commander Fitzpatrick, I'm going to need your help on this too," Löhnen continued. "Commander Laika, could you do a series of internal scans to see if you can locate any equipment, rediation or anything else that does not belong on this ship?"
<TAG: J'Leera>
"Commander Fitzpatrick, could you run a level 1 diagnostic on all systems to see if there's anything that does not show up on internal scans and could you assist Commander Laika if she finds anything?"
<Tag: Fitzpatrick>
"One last thing. Ensigns Johanson, Andrews and Rogerson, report to Commander Wood in Sickbay at 06.30 to assist in the forsensic investigation. Are there any questions?" No-one spoke. "Very well, dismissed"
The crowd left the Briefing Room and Danny went to his quarters, sad and tired to the bone. While walking towards his quarters, he tapped his combadge.
=^=Löhnen to Wood=^=
=^=Wood here, go ahead=^=
=^=Sir, I have ordered Ensigns Johanson, Andrews and Rogerson to assist you in the forensics investigation. They'll report to you in Sickbay at 06.30.=^=
=^=Understood Lieutenant, Wood out.=^=
Danny entered his quarters and fell on the bed. He was asleep almost immediately.

The three friends left the Cargo Bay in silence. Shock had taken over them. Luke didn't even notice that they had arrived at his quaters and merely stood stirring at the door. Rye gently tapped him on the shoulder and Luke snapped out of the wierd trance. He pressed the door lock and the door sprang open. They walked into the room and Luke went to the replicator and ordered the respective drinks. They sat around the small coffee table, drinking them quietly. The silence was unerving but Luke couldn't bring himself to say anything. He feared that if he opened his mouth he would be sick.
J'Leera dropped the drink onto the table and left the room. Rye got up to follow, but Luke just shook his head. She needed to be alone. He understood that feeling, why so many deaths? What was happening? Would he eventually lose everyone he knew? He looked down at the carpet and watched J'Leera's spilt drink sink slowly into the carpet. He just stared at it until his eyes began to water. He brushed away the tears and heard J'Leera move in the next room. He got up and saw Rye just gazing at the ceiling. He left the room and entered the next. J'Leera got up and the two officers went and sat back down with Rye.
The very feeling of death seemed to hang in the air and Luke began to feel sick again. Was death hunting them? Was it his fault? Did he bring a curse to this crew? He shook himself. NO! He had to keep it under control. His thoughts wandered back to Amy and how he found her just lying there, her blood around her like a rose. He couldn't help bujt wonder how Thirteen was found. It was a sick thought but Luke seemed to have no control over his minds wanderings. Death had entrapped him in his mind, his own thoughts his prison.
Luke snapped out of his daze and looked ar J'Leera and Rye. The simply stood and nodded their thanks. Perhaps words being too much. The two officers left the room and Luke was truly left alone to his thoughts.

J’Leera wasn’t expecting Danny to call them down to the Marine Debriefing room, but she went anyway. Perhaps some work would help her to focus and get her mind off of Thirteen. She only thing she wanted to do now was to find whoever or whatever killed him and to see that it could never happen again.
She and Rye walked out in silence and quietly made their way to the Marine deck to see what Danny wanted. As they entered, they realized that all of the marines had assembled as well as the entire security department. J’Leera wasn’t surprised though. Danny was the logical choice in replacing Thirteen. If anyone could do it, it was Danny and she was certain that he’d do a thorough job.
As Danny began to explain was going to happen, he asked her if she could run some scans for foreign objects aboard the ship. He also asked Rye to run some diagnostics tests and assist her.
“Of course!” she exclaimed to Danny’s request. “I’ll need to recalibrate them though since I had them set up to scan the pulsar, but since we aren’t doing that anymore it shouldn’t take too long to set them back.”
“Good,” Danny nodded.
“Is there anything specific that I’m looking for? Do you have any leads at the moment?”
He shook his head, “No, I’m hoping that scans will find something and give us some of those leads, but for now we have none. Personally I hope that this was an accident and not a murder because that would mean…”
“…that there is a killer onboard,” she finished, looking solemn.
“Exactly,” he answered quietly and turned back to the security officers and the marines. After explaining their part, he dismissed them all, so J’Leera stood up to leave. Danny caught up with her before she left though.
“Commander!” he called, walking up to her.
She stopped and looked over at him, wondering what he wanted.
Danny paused and looked her over. “Don’t take this the wrong way, but you look horrible. You really should get some rest.”
She sighed, she was very tired, but a murderer was possibly roaming free on the ship and that wasn’t acceptable to her. “Look, I appreciate your concern, but I’m fine really. We have too much work to do and I can’t afford not to get started on this.”
“Mr. Greenvalley won’t be leaving anytime soon, or at least until everyone’s been investigated. He can calibrate the sensors; it doesn’t have to be you.”
“I know,” she sighed. “But I’d rather do them myself. Thirteen saved my life on our last mission and this is the least I could do for him. I want to find out what happened and if someone did indeed murder him, then I want to bring that person to justice. But, if it makes you feel any better, recalibrating the sensors won’t take any longer than half an hour, then after that I rest.”
Danny nodded, “I understand what you mean. I’ll let you get to work now,” he turned and left.
She nodded back and headed to the science lab. “Laika to Greenvalley. Could you meet me in the science lab? We have some scans that need recalibrating and I could use assistance.” As well as some company, she thought to herself.

Danny woke up the following morning. He made some coffee and decided to get on the case right away. There was so much to be done and he had no idea where to start. Suddenly, he remembered that he was supposed to interrogate the crew together with Counselor Savali. Danny was slightly empathic himself too, empathy being a property of the Chiss species, but it would always be helpful to have someone else with those abilities present.
=^=Lieutenant Löhnen to Counselor Savali=^=
=^=Savali Here, go ahead Lieutenant=^=
=^=We're supposed to interrogate the crew together. Could we get together first to discuss how we're going to deal with it?=^=
<TAG: Tiffani>
After the call with the Counselor, Danny decided to see how J'Leera was doing, hoping she got any sleep after last night's events. "Computer, locate Commander Laika" *Commander Laika is in Science lab 1*
A few minutes later, Danny entered Science lab 1 and he saw J'Leera already hard at work at this early hour. "How are you Commander, did you get any sleep last night?"
<TAG: J'Leera>

As Rye stood in the meeting listening to Danny, he couldn't help but feel a little uneasy. How could anyone do this to someone.
"Commander Fitzpatrick, could you run a level 1 diagnostic on all systems to see if there's anything that does not show up on internal scans and could you assist Commander Laika if she finds anything?"
"You got it."
Rye went right down to engineering to run the scan. He arrived and greeted Lieutenant Thomson. He initialized the diagnostic, and sat, musing to himself.
Diagnostic Complete the computer alerted. Rye overviewed the results, and saw the problems with the navigation system. He also saw a problem in the holographic subsystems and the artificial gravity system. All of these he reported to Danny.
