Stepping out of the airlock, Drew was struck by how busy the Hanson was becoming. Since arriving on the ship a few weeks ago, the vessel had been all but empty, but now Cadets were arriving, and cargo was busy being uploaded.
“Make’s a difference doesn’t it?” S’reena said behind him, noticing Drew looking around the ship.
“It certainly does,” Drew agreed, “I had forgotten how busy a ship waiting to get out could be.”
“Excuse me sirs,” a young Ensign, leading a large anti-gravity unit forward. The two command officers both stood apart, letting the young woman past. Along the unit were positioned a number of cargo containers.
“We seem to be taking on a lot of cargo,” S’reena commented, as she and Drew continued to walk towards the turbolift.
“Starfleet wants us to drop off supplies for Starbase 28 on route,” Drew explained, “apparently, they are short on everything.”
“Believe me when I say we here on the Hanson know the feeling,” S’reena replied, as the turbolift cart arrived. Stepping inside, she directed the lift to take them to the bridge.
“Do we have mission specs yet?” S’reena asked, as the lift travelled upwards, although she was Romulan, Drew could see the keen interest in her eyes, anxious to know what awaited them.
“Simple enough really,” Drew replied, “re-supply the Starbase, then Starfleet wants us to patrol along the Gorn boarder, while also mapping a few close by systems.”
“I thought everything near the Gorn boarder had been mapped before,” S’reena said, confusion evident on her face.
“You know how it goes S’reena,” Drew smiled, “long range sensors have detected some ‘unusual’ readings, we are to investigate.”
As the turbolift doors opened to revel the bridge, Drew and S’reena were both approached by a group of officers, all holding padds requiring there attention. Taking a handful each, the Captain and First Officer make a quick exit for the ready room.
“The paperwork seems to increase with each voyage,” S’reena sighed, piling the padds on the desk.
“Tell me about it,” Drew chuckled, taking a seat behind the large silver desk, “all this just to take a ship out of space dock.”
“Well I can tell you the first task,” S’reena said, reading from a padd, “we need to arrange a tour for the Cadets, as well as a general briefing.”
“Have the Instructors gather at the airlocks,” Drew said, “they can meet and greet the Cadets, and show them to there quarters, then we can arrange a small get together in the mess hall, give them the tour, then back to the mess hall for briefing.”
“I’ll make the arrangements,” S’reena said, keying in some commands to her padd, “everything else just seems like route paperwork.”
“Thank you,” Drew replied; reading his padd, which contained more detailed instructions from Starfleet Command, it seemed the Hanson would be meeting up with another ship halfway through mission, as well as making a drop off on another Starbase. It was certainly going to be a busy few weeks Drew reflected, as he picked up another padd.
OCC:
First let me just once again welcome everyone aboard the Hanson, and say again that if anyone has any questions, please feel free to ask.
From this post, people can reply arriving on the ship, and meeting with there Instructors, meeting up with other Cadets, getting to know the feel of the ship etc.
The Instructors will also all be posting, giving everyone something to reply to, maybe setting up a few sub-storylines to run over the mission, and of course myself and S’reena will be posting regularly.
If anyone wants to talk about the mission, or Section 47, or anything, then I can be contacted over msn, or with yahoo.
The Instructors for this mission are:
CO: RA Paul Drew FO: Cmder S'reena Hope CEO: Cmder Noah Bates CNS: Cmder John Graxon CMO: Cmder Jason Black COO: Cmder Joan McCormick
Cmder Hope and myself will also be covering the Security/Tactical/Marine training as well
Once again welcome, and I hope you enjoy your time on Hanson.

Serrith looked at the Hanson as he walked over the Airlock. He saw that all the lights were on, the ships engines on and people moving all over the vessle.
Interprid Class, hmmm. Fast, maneuverable.
Serrith thought of the ship for a moment as he entered it. It was busy, like he expected, fellow cadets and ranked officers were running and walking all over the innner airlock. Moving supplies and cargo, as they made their way to the crowd.
Serrith entered the busy ship. He looked at a computer console, walked up to it and asked for a map. The map appeared on screen, showing where the cadet needed to go.
Good, my quaters arent that far away
Serrith walked up to the TurboLift ann entered it. "Deck 6, Cadet's Refugee." He said and the lift started to move.
He hoped he shared his quaters with someone he knew. It wouldnt really matter, he was here to learn. Not to play.
Although, its playtime once I get behind the wheel.
The lift stopped at deck 6, doors slid open and a large noise came to his ear. The whole area was filled with cadets trying to find their room and mates. Serrith breathed in for a moment, focused himself and entered the crowd.
After some minutes of struggling through the madness they called fell fellow cadets he managed to get to his designated Quaters..
Time to settle down, the briefing should be soon enough.

Jason walked happily towards the Hanson. It was good to be setting off into Space. He loved the rush, the challenge of it all. The pressure of being the Chief Medical Officer when you're out in the middle of nowhere was invigorating. Granted, on occasion it was overwhelming, but all in all, it wasn't too bad.
He walked through the airlock, being waved past the security checkpoint outside of it. Stepping onto the decking of the Hanson itself, he felt it vibrating beneath him. Although he wasn't an Engineer, he enjoyed the feeling.
He went to the turbolift and headed for Deck 5. As he stepped off it, he had to quickly move out of the way of an anti-grav unit going past, carrying supplies to Sickbay. "Sorry, Doc!" the Starbase medical techs called as they went by.
He shrugged it off, and continued to Sickbay. It happens. He walked into Sickbay, and was greeted by beehive-like activity. The main thing he noticed was the unusual number of Engineers present. There were supplies being, and equipment being checked. The main thing he noticed was Michael, standing over by the surgical bed, which was surrounded by a team of Engineers. He went over. "What have we here?" he asked, looking at the bed.
"Upgrades," Michael said with a smile. Jason looked at the bed, and realized it was all new.
"We're all finished," the lead Engineer said, packing up their equipment. "Try it out, Doctor Black," he said, gesturing to the new bed.
Jason went to the diagnostic console, and marveled at all the tests it was able to do. "This is incredible," he said in awe. "Most of these tests I usually have to program the computer specially on how to do them," he said, looking over at Michael.
"Glad you like it," the Engineer said, and he and his team left.
"You know what would be good to break in this bed?" Jason said, looking over at Michael. He then tapped his comm-badge. "Sickbay to Commander Hope. I need you to come down for a check-up, particularly if you wish to return to full duty."

ooc: joint post Jason Black & S'reena Hope. Warning, massive sized post!
"Hope here, I'm on my way doctor, just give me a minute to finish quarter assignments for the cadets." S'reena sighed in annoyance; always when she was busy with something, something else came between it. She was particularly annoyed if this something else had anything to do with going to sickbay for check-ups. "As if I've not been prodded enough for the past two months," she muttered to herself as she stacked her PADDs. Ten minutes later, she walked into sickbay. "You called?"
"Indeed I did," he said, motioning her over. "It's time for your final check-up, or what should be your final check-up, if all is going well. Also, by now I should be able to tell the gender of your baby. And I just got a new surgical bed installed and wanted to try it out, and figured I'd test it on you," he said, waving her over to it.
"Oh jolly," S'reena said, in mock happiness, "so I get to be the guinea pig huh...really nice of you." She climbed onto the biobed. "Things have been going well. Thanks to a few training programs during shoreleave, I've been able to reduce the amount of discomfort I'm experiencing when walking, and I've rarely felt the need to use that darn chair."
"Excellent," he said smiling, bringing up the test he wanted. "Then I'm sure this will go well. Intiating scan."
"It better be," S'reena growled, "otherwise I've been doing all this exercise for nothing, and I'd hate it all having been for nothing. This one program from Cadet Soaringstar was really good, a month or so ago. Though that was a little too much for me, I've used it again some time later to practice my fighting skills. I must say it didn't go too bad but I suppose it'll be a while until I got my old skills back, wouldn't you agree?"
"Indeed. The muscles in your arm have atrophied a bit, due to the rest I've forced you to give them," he said, reported the beginning results of the scan. "But with exercise that will go away. But yes, you'll have to re-train the muscles a bit."
"Naturally," S'reena replied, "what do you think I've been trying to do? I can't just go around and ask people to please arm-wrestle with me just because I need to train my arms now can I? I've been going to the gym, but so far I'm having a little trouble even lifting the weights." She gave the CMO an annoyed look. "At least I can still quite accurately use my trusty blade," she smirked. "Now, what's the verdict doctor?" she asked impatiently.
He looked over the results of the scan as they came on the screen. "Well, your muscles have healed quite well, and the swelling in your tendons has gone down sufficiently. I'd say you're fit to return to duty," he said with a smile.
The Romulan smiled back. "Well, that's a relief. I'm sure Drew will be pleased to hear that too, he's been nagging me about it ever since he came aboard. Aside from muttering about cargo and such of course." She gazed at the panel too. "And what about the baby?" she asked, suddenly axious. She had been assured that her injuries hadn't harmed her baby, but she could never be reassured enough about it.
"That's next. Initiating fetal scan," he said, bringing up the test he wanted and having the computer start it. "This new surgical bed is wonderful," he commented. "It can do just about anything I can think of!" He then turned to her again. "Not that it will have any effect, but any particular wish on the baby's gender?"
S'reena was perplexed and she gawked at the CMO. "Wish?" she querried, "as if you could change the gender upon my orders. I have no particular wish, but I'm sure Michael would be rather pleased if it would be a boy." She smiled. "Not that he'd particularly mind another girl," she added hastily. "So, what's it gonna be?"
"Yes, I know he would like a boy," Jason noted. "He told me himself." He then looked at the results of the scan, and his eyes widened. "Oh my...."
"What is it?" S'reena asked urgently, worry clearly visible on her face, "something wrong with the baby?"
"No, not exactly," he said, and pressed the key to remove the sensor hood from above her. "Come into my office. I'll get Michael. He needs to hear this too."
S'reena frowned at Jason, but obediently hopped off the biobed and walked into the office, while he went to get her husband. She sat down and waited impatiently for the CMO to come back. Once Michael had settled down, looking equally worried, she stared at Jason. "What is it?" she finally asked, somewhat nervously, as she reached for her husband's hand.
"Well," he said, stepping over to the wall panel, he activated a display, showing the fetus. "S'reena, Michael, meet your son."
The couple gazed at the panel, and Michael got up to stand behind his wife to give her a careful hug. "A son," he breathed, smiling down at her.
S'reena however wasn't too convinced everything was just fine. She did smile, but the look of anxiety didn't leave her face. "But he is healthy right?" she asked anxiously.
"Oh, he's just fine," Jason assured them. "What surprised me was this," he said, bringing up a second fetus. "Meet your other son."
It was fortunate that Michael was still holding on to her, otherwise S'reena would've toppled out of her seat from amazement. "Twins?" she exclaimed, then laughed with relief. Her laughter echoed through the office, and caused several nurses to stop and stare in the direction of the office. The Hope's were oblivious to this, as they stared at the two foetuses.
"Twins?" Michael echoed, running a hand through his hair. "Honey, we need to ask the admiral for larger quarters!" He smirked at Jason. "At least we're evenly balanced now."
S'reena got up from her seat and walked over to the CMO, giving him a tight hug. Then she poked him between the ribs rather forcefully. "Don't you dare ever scaring me like this again!" she exclaimed happily.
S'reena stopped dead in her tracks, turning back towards the CMO. "You've got to be kidding," she said faintly.
Michael stopped smiling as well. "Three?" he added, now rubbing his eyes to be sure that his chief wasn't playing a joke on them. "Now I've always wanted a large family...but three at once?" He turned to his wife. "Three?" he repeated.
"Don't look at me," she retorted, "you were there when they were created." She turned back to Jason. "I want regular check-ups," she said, "because I've a history with difficult births, and haemolytic disease of the newborn. And I want your help in making sure the babies stay healthy during gestation." She gave him a weak smile. "As well as the occasional reminder to take it easy. I'm what, four or five months pregnant now?"
"You are," Jason confirmed. "20 weeks to be exact, which puts you at five months. Now, there's a couple things to note. This is what their sizes look like in relation to each other," he said, and tapped a few key. The first son became larger than the other two.
"As far as I can tell, the reason I was never able to detect three children before, and why you aren't showing as much as you should, is that two of your children are smaller than normal. The first son is the proper size though. I don't know yet what this will mean for their adult heights, but I can run some projections."
"That would be great," S'reena said, still looking rather confused, "but as long as they're all healthy, I'm perfectly happy." She gave him a faint smile. "I suppose I should go inform admiral Drew now that we will need larger quarters. Our current one is not spaceous enough for such a large family." Then she paused again. "He'll need to know, also because I'm the first officer." Then she gave both men a smirk. "But as thank you he can become godfather. Oh! I need to tell admiral McCormick too that she'll be godmother of three instead of one!" Then her smile brightened. "Ah....and of course you'll be a godfather of one too doctor. And don't you dare say no!"
Michael now smiled too. "I concur, we won't take no for an answer."
"And nor would I dare refusing," Jason said, smiling. "I miss all my nieces and nephews anyway, living out here. Being a godfather to one of these three would be wonderful."
"That's settled then," S'reena laughed, "now if you'll excuse me, I've got a CO to ambush....." With a laugh, she walked out of sickbay, looking more radiant than ever.

ooc: posted as Lt Jarod Arakkis, NPC Security instructor.
Jarod yawned as he opened one eye to peer at his old fashioned alarm clock. The antique digital item had been a gift from his father, who in turn had gotten it from his own father. The black object had been in his family for generations, and over time it had been modified to work with ship's power, rather than needing an old fashioned socket to plug it into in order to get it working.
Another yawn and stretch and he swung his legs over the edge of his bed. Beside him, his Bajoran wife still lay sleeping peacefully. Gently, he kissed her on the cheek and girl thingy-footed out of the bedroom and into the bathroom. After a quick shower, he pulled out a fresh uniform and wandered over to his computer terminal to check his itinerary.
Smiling to himself, he noticed that he had ten minutes before he had to go meet his charge. ~too bad I've just had the late shift~ he thought with mild annoyance ~it's 0800 and I've barely had any sleep~ With his coffee in one hand, and a pack of sandwiches stacked in a plastic bag in another hand, he walked towards the docking bay, where the cadets were due to arrive. The information he'd gotten informed him that he was looking for a female cadet of Klingon descent. ~this could be interesting~ he thought, remembering the Klingon cadet that had served in sickbay a few missions ago. "Goody, I still have to meet Admiral Drew as well," he suddenly realized, "might as well introduce myself when I go introduce my cadet."
Jarod gazed at his PADD. "Nicole Soaringstar," he muttered, "doesn't sound too Klingon too me. Oh, she's half human, that explains." He craned his neck, looking over the crew that was walking in and out with cargo. Then he spotted his charge and walked up to her. "Cadet Nicole Soaringstar?" he asked her, holding out his right hand to her. "Lieutenant Jarod Arakkis. I'm your instructor for this mission."
<Soaringstar>
"When you're ready I'll show you your quarters, and introduce you to Admiral Paul Drew and Commander S'reena Hope, as well as everyone else you need to know."
<Soaringstar>
ooc: he doesn't know you've already met Paul and S'reena.

Nicole took his hand and firmly gripped it, but not too hard that it would break his fingers. " It's an honor to meet you, sir," she replied in a proud but pleasant tone, " I have met the Admiral and Commander while I was on Starbase Conquerer. We even did a holodeck program together, which ended up to be more interesting than I hoped for." "So Cadet," Arakkis inquired, "tell me a little about yourself." "Well, sir," she replied, feeling a little repetitive, " I was born on Dorvan V. My mother is Klingon and my father is Cherokee. It was my father's idea to name me Soaringstar, but my mother calls me mach puq," she explained with a smile on her face with the memory. After walking a little while she asked, "Where are you from, sir?and who will I being sharing quarters with? ooc: try and modify later. I've got Spanish class:) Great posts!

Calvin hated to pack and unpack, but he knew if he wanted to go over to the Hanson he would have to. So, he did. As he packed all the little belongings that he wanted to into a small shoulder bag he thought about the up comming objectives he has set for himself. Calvin always believed that he was a well organized person and he always like to have his own objecives to get him to his goal in life. He always thought that his cleanliness and organization could get him into trouble as well. Sometimes if things were not as organized as he likeds them to be it could decrease his working ability. He has always tried to overcome this small OCD, but it seems to trump him most of the time.
30 minutes later Cadet Capps was stepping on the USS Hanson. The ship that would train him with live ship missions. Missions that hopefully give him hand expeirence, and a taste of what serving on a ship is like. After walking several steps in the same direction everyone else was including other cadets they came upon a turbolift. Not everyone there could fit on this particular one at this time, but Calvin was able to get inside with plenty of room left.
While inside the turbolift Calvin took his PADD that he had and looked at the direction that were set for him. His quarters were on the same deck as the other cadets in the turbo lifts were. The Cadet felt the turbolift move upward and once or maybe twice it went horizontally. After the short ride, and queit one too the doors opened up and all the cadets includign Calvin dispersed from the turbolift.
He walked down to cabin 14 of the deck and walked up to the door. The computer has already been programed to notice Calvin, so the doors opened for him. The new Cadet was now in his quarters and all he could do was stand in the middle of what seemed to be a small living area and he looked around. He turned on his heels and head to his left to what seemed to be the sleeping area.
Indeed it was and he noticed that there were four beds. Two sets of bunk beds. He then noticed that downward from the beds there were four desk. Obviously they were there for the cadets to use for studying and other various objectives. Two of the desk were already filled with nic nacs that Calvin had to guess was owned by the other cadets that he was sharing this quarters with. Each desk also had a portabal computer hardware console.
He took the desk that was closet to the right wall and set his shoulder bag on the desk. He opened it up and slowly took out each item he had placed in it. He carefully and planned each item to where he wanted them on the desk. Each item was close to a 90 degree angle to most of the other items that made Calvin feel that his desk was clean and well organized.
Calvin then took out his most important item he always brings with him. He called it his memories. His sad and happy ones. His was his data chips that he had saved from his earlier life up until present. They each were well organized in side of a homemade Isolinear chip holder that is best suited for Calvin. Each chip was first placed in order of area. And then each area the chips were in alphabetical order.
Each chip had different things on them. One area was happy memories that included birthdays, mariages and much more. Others were sad memories. Pictures of his parents funeral. And yet others were his favorite music. There were also numerous misc. chips, but they were his memories. They were so important to him that the homemade chip holder that he had created hat its own forcefield and passcode to access them.
The forcefield ran independtly of the ships power so it wasn't taking any power away, and even it did it would be a fraction of any power needed. No, the holder had its own small generator that continued to flow electic currents into power to power the force field.
Calvin opened his computer console to see if meeting or briefings were starting that he needed to attend to.

Jarod smiled at the young woman. "I was born in Teheran, on Earth. My mother is an Iranian woman, though my father is Greek. I've been raised according to both traditions. My parents weren't too pleased when I signed up to Starfleet to train as security officer. My mother cried when I left for the Academy, and my father was furious. Especially so when my twin sister, who serves as a pilot, also left for Starfleet."
He paused a moment, as they entered a turbolift and he had to call of their destination. "Anyway, my father expected me to become a lawyer, like himself, or a teacher like my mother. And here I am, a teacher of sorts at last." He checked his PADD to answer her next question. "According to the information I've been given, there is only one other female cadet, so you'll be sharing with her. I believe you've already met Cadet Hannah Stevenson?"
<Soaringstar>
"Yes I'd imagine you already have." He smiled again, showing perfect white teeth which contrasted nicely to his bronzed skin. Deep brown eyes peered intently at the half Klingon cadet, and he raked a hand through his sun bleached golden hair. "How about you cadet? How did your parents feel about you signing up with Starfleet?"
After exiting the turbolift, they stopped at a door. "Here we are cadet. Please get yourself settled and report to me on the bridge in two hours. I've got to pick up another cadet who'll be training as a marine. As we've yet to find a marine instructor, I'm taking him on for now. Please excuse me."
<Soaringstar>
Jarod hurried himself back to the dockingbay, waiting for Tyrron to show up. ~Good grief, another Klingon~! he thought with awe ~and tall too...gee I feel dwarfed with my one meter seventy-five centimeters. The girl already was quite tall.~

Tyrron grabbed his stuff he prepared himself to finaly go aboard on the USS Hanson, after a while he was packed and ready to go. He didn't knew to wich person he needed to go to assing himself, he just knew that he needed to go to the ship.
He was also thinking, with who should I join quarters, there were only to people he know, his good friend Serrith, and the good looking Klingon girl he had met,
Tyrron was thinking about this girl, She doesn't look like a real Klingon, she lokked better. Maybe she is not a full blood klingon, maybe half human, she got some looks of a human. Tyrron thaugt it would be the best to ask her, if I will see her again.
Tyrron arrived at the ship after a short while. When he stepped aboard he heard someone cal his name, he looked to where the sound came from. He saw a man standing in the opening. Are you Tyrron? he asked.
"Yes, I replied."
Good I am Jarod, youre instructor I heard you wanted to become a marine.
"Yes that's right sir, nice to meet you."

Noah lay under a console, making some upgrades to it. His feet stuck out from under it, lifelessly. He then found the problem that was shorting out the console and causing it to flash.
He found it. He sat up from under the console. "Alright, who's the genius who put the geodyne capacitor in a J-14 outlet?" he called through the Engine Room.
One of the new young technicians came forward. "I...I did sir," he admited timidly. "I was trying to increase power efficiency."
"A J-14 can't handle the amount of current put out by a geodyne. Good attempt, Crewman, just use a thermodyne capacitor next time," he said, trying not to be too negative.
He laid back down to remove the geodyne, when the younger Lieutenant Bates crouched underneath. "You held your temper well that time.' He looked around a bit under the console. "Unusual to see you down on the floor like this," he commented.
"Just because I can't use my legs doesn't mean I never get out of that chair," he said, gesturing to it with his hand. "Did you need something?"
"Well, actually the new Commanding Officer does. Change in policy; he wants you to meet the new Cadets at the airlock."
"Can't you do that?" he asked his Assistant CEO.
"Nope, they said Instructors specifically," was the reply.
"Oh well," he said, pulling himself out from under the console. "Theres a geodyne in a J-14 socket. Replace it with a thermodyne for me, would you?"
"No problem, boss," he said, bringing Noah's chair closer. Noah pulled himself up onto the chair, and a couple PADD's were promptly handed to him. "The Cadets' bios. We've got two this time."
"Two?" he replied, picking up the PADD. "I've only met one. Ah yes, here she is, Cadet Hannah Stevenson. Good lass," he said, then looked over the other one. "Cadet Jebadia Shelby. Well, we'll shall see what he's like. Be back soon, I hope," he said, placed the PADDs in his lap, and pushed the wheels of his chair forward, and out of Engineering.
He went down to the airlock and parked himself, watching the incoming Cadets and checking Stevenson and Shelby's potraits to make sure he wasn't missing them.

Realizing she was very late in getting to the Hanson, she sighed. She was sure that the xo was going to chew her out for this, and not to mention the tedious court martial she had just gone through, and on top of that her memory wasn't what it should be. She just sighed again as she got onboard and to her quarters, where she gets a message from the commander about meeting the cadets. She leaves her bag on the bed, wanting to unpack and not getting to do so, and asking the computer where her cadet was, she sets out to meet the young man.
Finding he was in his quarters, and not wanting to go into male quarters, she heads to the bridge to familiarize herself with her new station. She hadn't been at it before, and she didn't like surprises. She finds the turbolift ride very nice and quiet, which is something she prefers right now. She was completely taken off-guard earlier, and she just wished she could forget what happened this morning. She shakes her head hoping to clear it, and finds the door swish open.
She steps onto the bridge to report in, and once that is taken care of she hurries to her station. She steps behind her station, and then is hit with a bit of vertigo. She sits down to steady herself, and then the memories come back, as if someone had just opened a flood gate. She closes her eyes remembering exactly what happened the last time she was at this station. The console had blown up in her face, and then she couldn't really remember any more. She felt very nervous about it now, and opened her eyes realizing she had a set of eyes on her. She gets to work, remembering she had yet to talk to her cadet while being on the ship.
=/\= Cadet Capps, please report to the bridge.=/\= She says over the commlink, making it very brief. She bends over her station again looking to see how the power is distributed at the moment and if any messages are coming in.

Cadet Capps was still looking over everything in his cabin. He was currently scrolling the numerous items in the replicator when he heard his name on the intercom.
=/\= Cadet Capps, please report to the bridge.=/\=
"The Bridge," Calvin quietly whispered to himself even though there were no one else in the room with him. He quickly turned to the bath and checked his dress code and appearance in the mirror before he went to the bridge. After he was satisfied he left his quarters.
For the first time Cadet Capps was going to get to see the Bridge of the USS Hanson. The ship that he was about to serve on for the up comming mission. He hoped this bridge was everything he hoped it would be.
Calvin stepped off the turbo lift and enterd the bridge. Calvin paused just after a few steps onto the bridge. He looked around amazed at the magnifisant bridge. He knew he would be proud to serve on this bridge.
He took one last glance around and noticed his instructor. The instructor was also looking back at him. She must have heard the doors opened and looked in that direction. Both of them walked toward each other.
"Cadet Capps reporting to the bridge sir."

Hannah had packed all her stuff back into the suitcase and headed to the airlock. The corridors on the way were packed with people trying to get on and off and the moving of cargo. Hannah negotiated her way though the crowd of people and onto the Hanson. Hannah looked around trying to see though the sea of people to find Noah Bates. She looked over people’s head noticing a few familiar faces.
Hannah hadn’t been on a real starship since was a child when her parent had been assign to the U.S.S. Young. She had done tons simulations. She had loved her time on the Young, it was like on big adventure, a least until the last month. The pain full memories appeared in her mind and she tried to block them out by forus on something else.
Then she saw Noah sat staring at a PAD. Hannah walked over.
“Hannah Stevenson,” she said introducing herself again, “We meet before in the heather on the hill.”
< Noah Bates >
“Do you know who I will be sharing with?” Hannah asked.
“Nicole Soaringstar, a tactical, security cadet,” he answered, “Have you meet?”
“We meet on the starbase and a participated in an interesting holodeck program with her,” Hannah explained remembering about the gladiator.
“Do you know anything about our mission?” Hannah asked.

Seeing her cadet again, she walked over to greet him. "Hello, cadet, and welcome aboard. I am sorry we didn't get to meet earlier like we were suppose to, but I was busy elsewhere and haven't been aboard long. If you will follow me, we will start with your training now, unless you have some place else to be?" She says, walking back to her station turning to see if he followed her.

Calvin followed Cmdr McCormick back to the station while he spoke. "No need for apologies sir." Calvin had hoped the instuctor did not take his statement as if he gave her permission not to aplogize. Putting that social note to side he stopped infront of a console that the Cmdr had brought both fo them to.
"It is nice to meet you Cmdr McCormick and I am looking forward to training with you." Calvin half smiled. "I won't have alot of places to be after this ship leaves dry dock. I might as well star the training."

Nicole went into her quarters and placed her things up against the wall, "Hannah must be elsewhere," she thought and left to explore the ship since she had to hours to kill.
On her way to the Airlocks she saw Instructor Arakkis and Tyrron talking to one another and approached them with a confident, but graceful aire.
"Greetings," she said to both of them, and then with a mischievious smile asked, "will Tyrron be your charge as well?"
"Yes," he replied pleasantly, "why do you ask?"
"Well," she explained looking at Tyrron, "it should be an interesting class is all I can say."

“Hannah Stevenson,” came a voice in front of him. “We meet before in the Heather on the Hill.”
Noah looked up, and indeed there was Hannah standing before him. He put his PADD down. "Yes, Cadet, I remember you. I'm not that old yet," he said, then chuckled.
“Do you know who I will be sharing with?” Hannah asked.
“Nicole Soaringstar, a tactical, security cadet,” he answered, “Have you meet?”
“We meet on the starbase and a participated in an interesting holodeck program with her. Do you know anything about our mission?” Hannah asked.
Noah shook his head. "Unfortunately not. I have not been forewarned about our mission, only that I will be needing to maintain the engines to stay at high warp for long periods."
"Can we go to Engineering now?" she asked.
"Not yet. I'm supposed to be meeting another Cadet, Jebadia Shelby. And from the looks of it," Noah said, looking between the other PADD and a young man coming towards them, "he's coming this way."

Arakkis nodded. "Yes I will be in charge of both of you, until Admiral Drew has found us a marine instructor. You see, I'm just a plain security officer, I've never had any marine training. Now my sister is different, before she enlisted in starfleet, she trained in the Greek marine corps for two years, before deciding she wanted to be a pilot. However her training isn't sufficient to take on the role of instructor. That and she doesn't aspire to become a teacher either, she loves flying too much."
He paused. "At any rate, I believe the two of you have met?" He gazed from one Klingon to the other, where he had to actually gaze up at Tyrron. "My, you are tall! And strong built too I see. Any good at running?"
<Tyrron>
"Well, I'll leave you two to get settled. Tyrron you're roomed with Wuir, I believe. I'll see you both on the bridge in an hour. Now...run along you two!"
<Tyrron/Soaringstar>
Chuckling, Jarod found his way to the bridge. "Lieutenant Jarod Arakkis reporting for duty," he announced.
S'reena, who had only just arrived to the bridge herself, acknowledged him with a wave. Jarod noted that she had a perculiar expression on her face, but put it down to her probably being allowed back on duty.
On her part, S'reena was waiting impatiently for Drew to get back to the bridge. She was eager to share the news with him, both of having been allowed back to full duty, as well as expecting triplets. ~some surprise that was~ she thought happily, though she wondered how she was going to manage three infants at once. At times having two young daughters already was a handful.
She looked up when Drew finally entered the bridge, noting that he looked a little glum. "Most cadets have reported to their instructors," she reported to him, as she got up. "Admiral, could I have a moment please? In private?"
At his curt nod - he obviously still hadn't forgiven her for her little trick in the holodeck - she followed him into the readyroom. "Doctor Black has cleared me for full duty," she announded, then smiled brightly at him, "and I've had some other surprising news. I'm not expecting one son, but two and in addition to that, also a daughter. And...I'd like you to be godfather to one of the boys."

Cadet Jack Whillis quickly packed his bags and ran for the Hanson fearing he would be late and it might leave with out him. He had woken up late and had been running at top speed since. He paused at a window where he could se the ship. 'Wow,' he thought. Jack loved the look of the Intrepid clas. It was a great science ship put if handeled correctly it could be a deadly War ship.
He made his way past the oficers, crew, and cadets making their way off and on to the ship. once onboard he looked around for some one to report in to.

Serrith looked at Tyrron as they both walked off towards their room.
Hmm on the bridge in two hours, hope I get to fly the ship.
He looked at Tyrron, wondering what his big friend was thinking. Serrith reached his room, Tyrron walking in from behind. He sat on his bed and started to read through the scematics of the ship.
"I need to review it one more time." Serrith said, softley mouttering in himself. "What?" Tyrron replied. "on how to steer this big ship! Im so exited!" He looked at his pad and nodded...
I'm going to love this!

John was sitting in his counseling office reading over some reports from Starfleet Medical about new advances in the Psychology field when a request came in from the Commanding Officer. Walking over to his desk he activated his computer and started to read. As the words scrolled by a smile appeared on his face. This mission needed a navigations instructor. John was not only an accomplished counselor but also a darn good pilot as well. He called up the Cadet list and went over some records and then reported to the bridge.
***************************************************
Walking on to the bridge he saw the CONN and sat behind the panel to look over the status of the ships navigation systems. John saw that all the systems were ready and waiting for the word ‘go’.
Hitting the communications button on the panel he called for the navigations Cadets, “All navigation Cadets report to the Bridge, Commander John Graxen out.”

"Yea, i bet you do" Tyrron said with a smile to Serrith. "Just be cool Serrith and don't try to hit something, I know you I hope that I will survive."
What, Serrith replied you kow I'm a damn good pilot. I trained a lot, I was one of the best students!
"Haha I know that Tyrron laughed, I was joking, I know you are one of the best... It's good to have you around now I know that the ship is in good hands."
Thanks Tyrron,
"Hey no problem Tyrron replied."
There was a silence for a couple of minutes.
Tyrron? "yes, Serrith."
Are thinking of something?
"No... well actualy yes, have you noticed that klingon girl? There is something strange about her she looks different then all the other Klingon ladies... I mean this one looks more Human, exept that even if she looks more Human she has the fighting spirit of a Klingon.... And I haven't got the time to ask her about it, well I met her a almost an hour ago but I didn't get the chance, maybe i need to go and search for her I will be back in a couple of hours."
And Tyrron left the room in order to search for the Klingon Soarinstar. And he was hoping that he could finaly ask her his question, he didn't knew why he wanted to ask her this... but there was something about her, he couldn't get her out of his mind he didn't knew why...

A few moments later the doors opened onto a busy bridge and Jack quickly made it to his Instructor.

John turn to see a Cadet step onto the bridge and over to where he was sitting.
"Cadet Jack Whillis reporting in, Cmdr. Graxon," Said Whillis
"Hello Cadet, John Graxon ... good to have you aboard. I'm waiting on another navigation cadet to report in, but in the mean time have you found your quarters?" John asked.
<Tag Whillis>
"We should be called to a briefing soon where we will get our orders and for a navigation officer, that is when you will get any known information about where this ship is headed. You will need to take a PaDD with you ... unless you have a good memory ... but even if you do ... I would still take one along." John was looking at the Cadet with a smile while saying this remembering the time he went on his Academy training missions. "Cadet, have you ever piloted a ship of this size out of space dock before?"

Joan saw the half smile and started to relax, but not too much.
"Okay then, training it is, and you would be surprised how many times in a mission you are somewhere else. I remember last mission, what that was a couple of missions ago, oh well. As I was saying, we were all over the place, cadets and instructors that is. It is fun, and sometimes you can get training in other areas. As an Ops officer we attend to power distribution for each of the different areas, like engineering. We also are usually the first to get data from sensors, and we get messages from all over, which we have to direct to the correct people. I think that is a good start for what we do, at least for now. I have things set up with three of our consoles here, the one on your left is for incoming messages. The one in front of you is for power relaying, and the one behind you, if we need it, is for sensors. Right now we don't have to worry about those though, as no one should be using them, but you never know. A good ops officer can keep an eye on everything at once, but I don't expect that of you just yet, maybe when we are done with the mission you will be able to. Until then, I will assist you in keeping an eye on things. Let me know when you think you are ready to run this by yourself, and we will have a test run. Okay?" She says watching him and the console to the left at the same time.
"Alrighty, you take the forward console, and I will watch for messages. I am doing this because I want you to get the feel for relaying power to the different areas right now, and I can watch you do so while waiting for incoming messages. I don't think you are incompetent or anything, but sometimes it can be overwhelming just watching an ops officer. Okay?" She finishes as she moves over to the left side.
