OFF: Wow this is a lot to keep up with. Jordan called the engineer over and showed the console to him. He said that they were all shorting out in the same way. Jordan's brow furrowed. Something just didn't sit right. The same shortout had happened on the Hepta before and it had been considerably larger and more explosive. Her thoughts returned to the present when he asked her if she had a question.
Jordan: I used to just have one but now I have more. On one of my last missions on another ship, the same area of the same console blew but it was considerably more explosive. Yet here there is just a small burn. I'm sorry but this just doesn't make sense to me. The woman who touched the console was just burned, considerably mind ya but still burned while I was shot across the lab. This is just a gut feelin' but I think that this electric jolt was concentrated at the person touchin' it. What do ya think?
He was about to answer when a call came in for a doctor to come down as there was a dead ensign. Jordan looked over at Jason and he nodded his head. Jordan turned back to the engineer.
Jordan: Sorry. For now just fix it and ya can answer my question when ya can.
She grabbed a medkit and as she was leaving thought that something was missing from the sickbay picture but she didn't give it much thought. She arrived at the body 10 minutes later and when she saw the blood, she sighed and bit her lip. Such a young thin' too, she thought. She saw Tony and S'reena off to the side and approached them.
Jordan: Who found her?
S'reena: Cadet Yevar did. Security's questioning her now.
Jordan crouched down by the body and examined it carefully. She examined the wound. It was a blow to the back of the head and by the looks of it, a well-aimed one. She looked over at Tony.
Jordan: I know it's not my place to be makin' suggestions as I am a visitor on the ship but I would search the databanks to see if they caught anythin'. As to the COD, ya can probably guess how she died. It was a blow to the back of the head with a pointed implement.
Tony: That's what I figured.
Jordan: That's not all.
She got to her feet and walked over.
Jordan: She didn't slip and hit her head on somethin' while fallin'. Someone murdered her.
Jordan was now registering the sound of children crying as they left and she kept her composure. She was still very young by some standards and had a strong tendency to empathize with people's pain. Jordan looked down at the bloodstain on the carpeting.
Jordan: We'll get her out of here and to sickbay where we can prepare her for a funeral.
Draco suddenly twirled in the air and chittered rapidly while sending a message to Jordan. S'reena watched nervously as Jordan's eyes started darting around as she was registering what Draco was telling her. Jordan's eyes landed on S'reena, making her even more nervous. Jordan's eyes were a cold gray color and were becoming even more cold by the nanosecond.
Jordan: McCormick is on the bridge?
S'reena: Yes. She said that she had been cleared.
Jordan: I didn't clear her and Black is workin' on the counselor only. That only means...
Tony beat her to the punch and hit his combadge.
Tony: =Captain Marcell to Cadet E'Liana=
At the same time a call came in for Jordan.
Nurse: Ma'am we have a situation and we need your help.
Jordan: Transporter room, two to beam directly to sickbay.
She and the dead ensign disappeared and Jordan saw the nurse that had been shocked convulsing on the biobed. People were trying to hold her down without success. She ran over meanwhile telling a nurse to take care of the body. She looked at the readings and immediately started issuing orders. The woman was having an epileptic seizure. With one swift kick, a nurse crumbled to the floor, holding his gut.
Jordan: Jason! Cadet! I need your help!
Jordan looked at the woman's face and saw blood starting to froth from her mouth. She's bit her tongue, she thought.
Jordan: We need to get her mouth open. She's bitten her tongue.
When no one stepped up to the plate, Jordan stepped forward and tried to force her jaws open with her hands. The mouth opened and before Jordan could stick something between her teeth, they clamped back together on Jordan's fingers. She yelled in pain as she felt the skin break and then she felt a shock go through her body. The jaws opened up and Jordan's fingers were freed. Jason pulled Jordan away as she collapsed and then the woman flat-lined. They were unable to bring her back. Jason looked at the others around.
Jason: She's gone. Let's get Doctor Mackler off the floor.

Damion and Ghost met The captain on the way down to the Medical bay.
When They arrived there were parents ushering children away but Damion went straight on to ask yevar what she had seen .
After a few minuites of explaining he decided that the best people to ask were the children but that would be very difficult so Damion asked the captain If he could ask the parents to talk with them to find out if anyone else had seen the ensign "sleeping" as the children had described.

Michael had been in his quarters tending to little Yarna when the call came through to please pick up his older daughter Kahlan. Yarna squealed happily as he tickled her, while changing her diapers and placing her back into her crib.
"Michael here," he answered after touching his combadge. "I'm not due to pick up Kahlan for a few hours......did something happen?"
The person on the other end of the conversation remained silent for a long time, and Michael frowned. "Please come pick up your daughter," the voice repeated. In the background, Michael could hear the hysterical crying of several children.
"Very well," he sighed, "give me a couple of minutes, I can't leave my other child alone." He walked to the door and yanked the nearest crewmember inside that he could see. "Please watch my daughter," he told the crewman, "I will be back in a few minutes, there seems to be an emergency."
Michael Hope hurried out of his quarters, towards the designated deck and found his older daughter clutching her arms around a cadet's leg. The cadet didn't look too thrilled at that, but she was doing her best to comfort the children. He glanced at the nurse who was going over the dead woman's body, and noticed that she seemingly didn't need any help.
Gently, he disentangled Kahlan's arms from the cadet's leg and the little girl clutched her father tightly. "daddy!" the girl sobbed, "daddy, Ms Carrington has fallen asleep, please wake her up? Please daddy, please!"
Michael gently stroked his daughters hair and locked gazes with the nurse. "Nurse Rachel is trying honey," he said gently, "but I'm afraid she'll not wake up." He glanced at the cadet, who was still looking very unhappy. "Go to sickbay after this has been dealt with," he told her, "and get Doctor Black to give you a mild sedative. You're to go off duty for the next couple of hours." He turned to the nurse. "Make her do what I suggested," he told her. Rachel merely nodded and went on with her task.
Just as Michael had carried his still crying daughter off, both Tony and S'reena arrived on the scene. And soon after both security cadets. Quietly, S'reena ordered Ghost to question Yevar. "Gently," S'reena pressed, "the poor girl is evidently in shock. "Damion, I want you to go over the scene, and collect any evidence you can. After yuo both are done, report to Commander Wesson and discuss your findings with him."
S'reena exchanged a worried glance with Jordan and Tony. "It seems that on top of everything else, we've got a murderer aboard," she said softly. Jordan nodded, then had herself, the nurse and the deceased beamed to sickbay.
While the cadets worked on the scene, S'reena pulled her CO aside. "Something fishy's going on," she whispered, "first a computer virus, and now a killer. What has the poor woman done that had gotten herself killed?" S'reena nearly lost her balance when the deckplates virbrated heavily and the inertial dampeners failed to compensate for the sudden standstill of the USS Hanson.
"Hope to engineer, what did just happen? Did we just drop out of warp and come to a complete and very abrupt halt?"
<Rio......engines won't start up again for a while.....a long while>
S'reena again glanced at Tony. "I'm sure the cadets will do fine, Wesson'll keep an eye on them shortly. We better get back to the bridge."

After the Childern had been taken away by their parents one of the Security officers came to question Fenel.
"Alright, let's try to make this breif Cadet, there's a lot of crazy stuff happening on board that needs attention." He said grufly, Fenel had expected that one of the Security cadet's would question her, but obviosly not. "What where you doing in this lab when you found the body?
"The internal sensors have been acting up, so I was doing an internal scan, you can check my tricorder's records if you'd like. There where childern playing in the cooridor and I recammended that they go to the holodeck rather then get underfoot. Then I went to scan the lab, but the childern cautioned me not to wake the women sleeping on the floor. I went to investigate since the childern's report didn't make sense and I found the ensign lieing on the floor near the main console, with blood on the back of her head and pooled on the foor. I checked her pulse manually and with my tricorder and contacted sickbay." Fenel replied
"Well that answers a few of my other questions, now tell me cadet, why where you here with the childern when we arrived? The Security officer asked.
"Sickbay told me to stay and wait for questioning, they were also going to contat the kids' parents. I kept them with me in case you needed to ask them questions." Fenel wonderd if that had been the right course of action.
"Alright, and would you show me exactly where the body was when you found it?" The Questioning went on for quite some time, and when finished Fenel headed to her Quarters, physically and mentally exaughsted.

Crave kept his eyes closed shut and had his hand folded over them. "Damn," he murmured, as he felt another wave of nausea hit him. He drew deep breaths, but they were not enough. He sprinted to the bathroom, and emptied his already empty stomach. His throat burned, but he drank only little water, afraid that too much would upset his stomach again. He crawled back into bed, and turned restlessly. Damn Andorian flu, he thought. How exactly he'd obtained it he couldn't figure, but it may had to do something with the date right before the mission. At least she had been good looking... but that was probably because he'd drunken too much.
He sighed, not knowing how he could have been so stupid to drink too much. That has to happen once a lifetime Crave, he told himself, yet didn't feel convinced. The flu was keeping him off duty, as he was in no state to instruct anyone on anything at the moment. He placed his hand on his stomach as another wave hit him. You're already empty! he thought, feeling angry. He was incapacitated, a state even weapon fire barely managed to get him in. Crave felt ashamed. The doctor couldn't do much about it, all there was to it was rest.
Days passed, and Crave felt his weakening body cry for food. The doctor came by every day to inject him with his necessary fluids, but that was all he got. It took way too long, in Crave's eyes, before the flu began to take its leave. "Andorian flue can be very nasty the first time you get it," the doctor had said, "and it's hard to tell when you'll be okay again, might take a while." Crave cast a look at the dull gray ceiling above him, and breathed through his nose. He closed his eyes and hoped that sleep would take him quickly. Three hours later, he finally went to the realm of dreams.
He woke up the next morning at around six hundred hours. Another lousy night of sleep. The morning nausea however was less bad than the mornings before. Crave sighed, and placed his feet next to his bed. He got up, and swayed for a few seconds before his vision came into focus. He took a few steps towards the bathroom, and sought support at the wall as his vision blurred again. It took him five minutes to reach the shower. He put it on cold, and let the water drain the sleep, the nausea and the need for food out of him. He lasted for ten minutes before the cold became too much, and shivering he dried himself with a big fluffy towel.
He felt strange when he put on his uniform, it seemed ages ago that he'd last worn it. He searched a drawer for his three golden pips, and found them. He attached them to his collar, and went to the bathroom to cast a look at himself. His eyes stood distant, his hair needed a touch, he looked pale, and not very healthy at all. As fit for duty as I'll ever be, he lied to himself as he straightened his collar.
He exited his quarters, and needed a few seconds to remember whether to turn left or right. Left it was, but another few seconds were needed to focus one corridor out of the two he saw in front of him. The soft humming of the turbolift that was taking him to the bridge caused a spontaneous headache, that didn't leave him alone when he got onto the bridge. "Ah, commander Wesson," he heard S'reena's voice, "fit for duty again?" "You know me ma'am," Crave replied, searching for his place on the bridge. "Are you sure you're capable?" S'reena asked, not sounding all to convinced about Crave's status. Crave gave her a wink and sat down, calling up a report on the two security cadets.
He stared at the letters on his screen, having a hard time not losing his concentration. =/\= This is commander Wesson to cadets Damion and Ghost, I'm supposed to be you guys's instructor these weeks, but this flu kinda kept me busy. So when you're done with what you're doin', please report to me, Wesson out. =/\= That took more energy than Crave'd expected, and he saw the bridge revolving around him. He grabbed the console in front of him with two arms, and drew a deep breath, trying to remain conscious. This is ridiculous, get something to eat, Crave told himself, and without answering S'reena's questioning look, he exited the bridge.

E'Liana looked at the Sickbay around her, tidying up after her last patient. It would've been two patients, but Damion had left without treatment... ~The stupid Targ, I'll inform Dr Black when he returns. He didn't seem to injured, but better to be safe than sorry...~
E'Liana turned to see Dr Black. "Dr Black, I need to tell you that Cadet Damion left a while ago from SIckbay without being treated, I gave him half an hour or so to return, but hasn't done so. I think he objected to being treated by me for some reason. I just though I should tell you."
<Tag Black>
"Ok Sir"
As she went back to the main room, a child came in with a scraped knee and was crying, so E'Liana quickly fixed it with the dermal regnerator and smiled at her. "Do you want a lollipop?" She asked, remembering her mother's old tales. The little girl smiled weakly, but her face brightened when she saw the lollipop being replicated.
"Thank you Doctor" Said the little girl. Her eyes squinted as she looked towards E'Liana's forehead. "Are you a Klingon? My mummy said that Klingons were warriors? Why aren't you?"
E'Liana braved a smile, forcing herself not to roll her eyes and began the tale she had said hundreds of times since she first went to school.
"Well, you see, I'm only 'Half' Klingon. My mum's a human, like you. My dad's a "warrior", but I don't really want - "
"Captain Marcell to Cadet BeTor"
She smiled at the child apologeticaly, the story would have to wait. "BeTor here, can I help, sir?"
"McCormick has stated that she was permitted to leave Sickbay, but none of the other staff were present when this occured. Did you let her leave?"
"No Sir, I didn't. At least, I don't even remember letting her go...actually, I don't remember anything..."

Following his orders Damion went over the Room where the body of Ensign Carrington was found. He found no evidence of a struggle and no weapon. He wondered how the killer could have done this with no mess?
He took out his Tri-Corder and scanned for blood and DNA traces. There was Nothing. Only where the body had been lying. The Cadet couldn't imagine how a murder could happen in this room , leaving the injuries as this did but without a trace... Why would Ensign carrington be here?? This is not wear she works , people don't work in this room everyday ... Maybe thats why the body was here , the murderer was trying to buy time , witch didn't work because of some chance happening by disobedient children. So was the murder in a different room??
--------------------
Damion arrived at the nursery and instantly took out his tricorder. There was evidence here , not visible but there was traces in the fibers of a child's play rug.
He looked around for a weapon and found nothing , it was what he didn't find that gave it away.
On the floor was a neat row of building bricks.24 of them . Then on the table by a book another one . That makes 25. However each of these building bricks had a letter from the alphabet on .. and all were there.. but one. The H was missing.
=A= Damion Jhukat to Wesson. Please report to The Nursery immediately.

This turbolift ride intensified Crave's headache, and he almost fell out of the elevator when it came to a halt. A passing ensign gave him a look, but Crave smiled and got up as if nothing had happened. He got into the messhall, and felt his stomach calling for food. He went over to a replicator, and got himself a big plate full of sandwiches. He sat himself down next to a starport and stared into space as he began shoving sandwiches into his mouth. He couldn't quite care how his stomach would be going to react. His need for food was greater at the moment.
Crave was surprised how well he reacted to the sandwiches, and it even made him fell a little better. As he was about to start on his sixth, a call came in. =/\= Damion Jhukat to Wesson. Please report to The Nursery immediately. =/\= Crave needed a few seconds to figure out who in heaven's name Damion Jhukat was, but then responded. =/\= On my way cadet, Wesson out. =/\= Crave got up, and the dizzy feeling was gone for the biggest part. His stomach rumbled a little, but didn't give Crave the idea that it was keen on emptying its contents via the wrong way again.
The way to the nursery was easy, and a turbolift ride later Crave arrived in the room, where he found a cadet examining what appeared to be a child's building brick. "Wanna build a castle cadet?" Crave asked. Damion turned to face to instructor, and Crave offered the man his hand. "Nice to meet you, at last, I'd like to call my entry 'fashionably late'," Crave said. Damion shook his hand. "So what's going on, can you gimme a quick summary?" Crave asked.

"Well sir" Damion replied to his Trainer "I believe i have identified the weapon used in the murder of Ensign Carrington." the commander let him run on.
"I have found that it was right here that the ensign was .. attacked sir , and i believe that the missing block from this set to be the murder weapon , tho i will take one to the doctor when he is done with the autopsy to confirm."
The commanding officer looked a little wobbly and distracted.
"are you OK sir? Should i escort you too the Doctor?"
"Ill be fine cadet , do you have anything else to report?"
"Yes sir , i believe that the perpetrator has use of command codes ranking ensign or higher , so that they could use a site to site transporter without it being logged"
The commander stared out of a nearby window for a few seconds.
"what should i do now sir?"

The nurse arrived and began to look over the body, soon after Jordan arrived to assist the junior officer.
S'reena joined Tony to watch over the proceedings and assist.
They quickly found that the ensign had been murdered with a small blunt object. After a few moments they also found that neither Jason or Michael or Jordon had let Ms. McCormick come out of sickbay.
Tony became worried and quickly contacted Cadet B'Eliana.
"McCormick has stated that she was permitted to leave Sickbay, but none of the other staff were present when this occured. Did you let her leave?" He asked quickly.
"No Sir, I didn't. At least, I don't even remember letting her go...actually, I don't remember anything..." Her voice trailed of in a confused tone.
"Cadet, could anyone else have released her?"
"No, sir, no one else should have. In serious cases like her collapsing would mean that a senior officer or myself would have to personally say she could go."
"Understood, Marcell out."
"Ghost!" Tony yelled, "Go to the bridge with commander S'reena and apprehend ms. McCormick." He turned to S'reena, "We need to find out what's wrong with her. Go!" They left in a hurry. Tony realized he was being rude but a murder called for quick action. Fenel, exhausted had left for her quarters. She had been off duty anyway.
"Where is cadet Jkukat?" Tony asked Jordon as she was preparing to beam to sickbay with the body of the ensign.
"He said he was going to follow a hunch. He also said something about this not possibly being where ms. Carrington could have been killed. He nodded as She and the body disapeared leaving only the pool of blood.
Someone also suggested that the logs be checked to see if there had been any record of the murder. He quickly accessed the logs and went back about 45 minutes. There was a gap of about 2 minutes. Whoever had deleted the information had been in a hurry or they would have patched the gap together to make it seem like it was still there.
"Captain Marcell to Cadet Jerad."
"Jerad here, captain."
"Cadet, please do your best to see who made an alteration to the visual logs in the science lab. This may be difficult considering the computer is malfunctioning."
"Yes, sir."
"And cadet?"
"Captain?"
"Watch out for McCormick."
"Sir?"
"Just watch your back, S'reena should be there soon. Please get back to me with those results as soon as possible. Marcell Out."
With that, being the only officer left in the lab, he went to the bridge.

For some reason Joan felt dizzy again. This time though she didn't collapse, but instead felt she should leave the bridge. She gave some lame excuse, and left. She knew someone would be looking for her because of her new crimes, but she didn't know where to hide. Joan then remembers she is also a Science Instructor, and finds specs for the ship. She finds the perfect place to hide, a place where no one can find her even if they search for her bio signs, and goes there. Security would be after her soon enough, and she wasn't ready to give up her freedom on this ship. She finds a good idea come to her, and smiles wickedly.
=/\= McCormick to Ford. I have found something wrong where I am, please come to deck twelve section four. I need your assistance. =/\=
With that done, Joan heads directly to the spot, and waits. She doesn't have to wait long before he arrives. She turns around her corner to greet him. The area behind that corner is a dead end, and Joan smiles sweetly as if nothing is wrong.
"The problem is just around this corner. I need help adjusting a few settings while holding up a panel. Something that needs more than two hands, and as you can see that is all I have." They go to where the panel is lying near the wall. Ford turns his back to her, and she lashes out putting her arm around his neck. He starts to fight, and she chuckles. She likes them fiesty, and was disappointed in how easy the first one was.
Ford manages to hit her in the head, which dislodges Joan for the moment. He turns around, and she stands looking at him waiting for his next move. He goes to kick her, but she dodges and punches him in the throat. He falls to his knees as he gasps for breath, and she kicks him in the face. While he is down, she kicks him several times in the ribs.
"That was for the hit to my head, and now the final blow. Good-bye Commander Ford." Joan says heartlessly, and chuckles evilly afterwards. She wraps her arm back around his neck finding he doesn't fight it this time. After he is dead, she leaves him where he is, and heads back to her hiding place via the interal part of the ship. Joan goes to sleep.
Hours later Joan wakes up alone, and wonders what is going on. She looks around her and decides to stay put to try to figure out what is going on.

Kedzie saw Commander O’Connor’s nod and hurried to Science Lab One. Arriving there, she walked up to Commander Ford and started talking. “I’m from Operations, and I was sent to help you find the virus. I’m really not sure quite what to do, but I’m here to help with whatever is possible.”
Kedzie paused, waiting for a reaction, when she realized that she hadn’t yet introduced herself. “I’m Shikako Kedzie, I’m a Civilian, but I’ve been training with Operations, doing pretty much anything I could to help. We are going to try to determine when the virus first appeared and to which systems it has spread, right?” she asked, trying to be certain.
“In which case we want to check error reports to see if there have been any occurrences of malfunctioning equipment, or times that the computer seemed to be acting irrationally, as seemed to be the case as we attempted to access the Aerowing. Perhaps we can track where the virus first appeared in order to find which systems it has infected, as well as how it first got on the station.”
She waited, thinking over her own comments and the implications of them. She still wasn’t sure that what she had said was what Commander Ford wanted, so she paused for a little. “McCormick to Ford. I have found something wrong where I am, please come to deck twelve section four. I need your assistance,” Kedzie overheard from Commander Ford’s commbadge.
“Sorry, I guess I have to go down there,” he told Kedzie.
“What should I do then?” Kedzie asked hesitantly. “Should I rejoin the rest of the operations team that is working on the Aerowing?”
“That shouldn’t be necessary,” Ford assured her. “I don’t think this will take terribly long. For now, you can investigate any leads that you had.”
Kedzie nodded, and carefully studied the logs for about forty-five minutes. She thought she had some sort of an idea as to where the virus had originated, but she wanted to confirm her findings with Commander Ford, since she wasn’t sure that she had been able to access all the logs. She thought that Ford had said he would be back soon, and she was beginning to wonder about him. She waited a little longer, she didn’t want to bother him too much.
“Kedzie to Commander Ford,” she tapped her commbadge. She didn’t get an answer, which made her a little worried. “Shikako Kedzie to Commander Ford,” she repeated. “Computer, locate Commander Ford,” she requested.
“Commander Ford is on deck twelve, section four,” the computer replied.
“Kedzie to Commander Ford, please respond,” Kedzie tried again, the urgency in her voice increasing. She waited, but not getting an answer, she glanced around the science lab, not seeing anything else she could do without his help.
She walked briskly, impatiently wishing the turbolift would move just a little bit faster than it currently did, though she was thankful that it did work at all. Arriving in section four of deck twelve, she didn’t see him, but then noticed that the corridor bent a little. She walked around the corridor, and saw Commander Ford on the ground. Kedzie broke into a run, and tried to find a pulse with one hand, using the other to tap her commbadge.
“Shikako Kedzie to Sickbay, medical emergency,” she said, forcing herself to speak calmly and slowly enough to be understood. “I’m on deck twelve, section four. It’s Commander Ford. I can’t find a pulse, but I’m not sure that he doesn’t have one.” Kedzie sighed, she was beginning to regret her lack of medical experience. She couldn’t do anything for Ford until the medical team arrived.

They go to where the panel is lying near the wall. Ford turns his back to her, and she lashes out putting her arm around his neck.
What the hell...?
William twisted the arm off of his neck and turned to Joan, who had a slightly odd grin on her face. The two science officers stood for a few moments, waiting for the other to move. William decided to try for a head shot. He wasn't strong enough to kill Joan even if he did manage to strike her head, but perhaps he could keep her subdued until security came.
William struck swiftly, but Joan seemed only a little shaken. Perhaps it would have been better to knock her to the ground and pin her there?
Joan was too fast, though, and after dodging his attack, punched William in the throat as he passed by. William gasped. He hadn't thought Joan would have taken personal defense lessons. Then again, she was expressing personal offense... maybe she had some sort of odd alternate persona? But that would have been in the medical record. Not that William ever looked at any medical records, but you'd think someone would have told him...
Joan kicked him in the face, and after William fell to the ground, she kicked him in the ribs multiple times. Black appeared at the corner of William's vision. He heard Joan say something, but couldn't quite make it out. Then she laughed and grasped his neck again. The black around William's vision closed in. He tried to hit his commbadge, but missed. As he lost consciousness, he wondered if perhaps he shouldn't have come on this particular training mission.

(OOC Hi everyone. Sorry I haven't posted lately. It's only been 5 days since my last post, but there sure has been a lot to read. Everyone's fingers must be pulpy, meaty stubs by now from all the typing! Anyway, I'm going to try to keep up with the story)
YrDis' eyes fluttered open. All he could see was the enormous medical sensor suite that was a part of every biobed in Sickbay. He turned his head slowly to scan the room. He could see Dr. Black standing at the medical console nearest his bed, examining it carefully. Then the doctro looked up at him and said "Nice to see you awake commander. How do you feel?"
His eyes felt gummy and YrDis attempted to rub them , but found that his arms wouldn't move. That snapped him to full wakefulness. "I feel fine Doctor. Why am I being restrained?"
<Dr. Black>
YrDis digested what Black had to tell him. He didn't remember any of that, just a weird dream about being chased by...something. "Alright. You asked me how I'm doing and I said that I feel fine. What do you think, doctor?"

(OOC: I have quite a few things to respond to. So if I accidentally leave anything out, I apologize. See what happens when I miss posting for a single day? ) "Let's get Doctor Mackler off the floor," Jason said. But in his sense of loyalty, he chose to lift the limp body of his former Instructor onto the bio-bed on his own, placing her gently down. He knew she probably couldn't feel anything, but he was still careful out of respect. After her placed her down, he moved quickly into action. "Computer, initiate a full bio-scan on Doctor Mackler." The computer beeped in acknowledgement. "Computer, how long with the scan take?" =/\= Six minutes, thirty seconds =/\= Jason nodded, then leaned against the nearby wall. He looked down at Jordan's face, remembering his training mission with her, thinking how similar the two situations were. They had answered a distress call from a Starfleet ship. They found it being consumed by a huge asteroid, which was a conglomerate of the other ships that had the misfortune of running into it. Whatever it contacted, the asteroid, or whatever it was, slowly transformed it to rock. Duranium, ships systems, even flesh; nothing stopped it. It was consuming the ship they were rescuing. At one point, he answered an emergency call, near the front of the ship. A crewmember has been foolish enough to touch the "rock" of the asteroid, and his arm was being consumed. Jason could do nothing but give him a powerful sedative, so that he wouldn't feel the pain. Not one of the highlights of Jason's career. The computer then beeped. "Bio-scan complete." Jason went to his Office quickly, to look at the results. He found the source of her inability to move, or even respond. There was a pathologically agent in her brain, creating a neuro-electric field. The field was presently overloading her neural functions, making her unable to do just about anything, besides survive. Studying the agent, he recognized it.....it was the cybernetic virus. "Dr Black," he heard a voice say. He turned to find E'Liana looking at him. "I need to tell you that Cadet Damion left a while ago from SIckbay without being treated, I gave him half an hour or so to return, but hasn't done so. I think he objected to being treated by me for some reason. I just though I should tell you." "Alright, Cadet. Give him another half an hour to do so. If he doesn't, either call him or go find him. In such cases, you have the surrogate authority of the Chief Medical Officer. Under such authority, if I assign you to do so, you may even order the Captain in medical matters." "Ok Sir," she said, and she went back to Main Sickbay. A young girl with a scraped knee came into Sickbay, so Doctor Black went over to watch how she handled it. She did so quite well. He watched the exchange between them. He then half-listened to the exchange between E'Liana and the Captain. After she was done, E'Liana looked up at him "Doctor, are you alright?" she asked, noticing his partially blank stare. He shook it off. "Not entirely, Cadet." He walked over next to Jordan, looking down at her once more. "I have discovered that the cybernetic virus we have been dealing with has somehow found it's way inside Doctor Mackler. You see, Cadet, as you probably know, she was my own Instructor back when I was a Cadet. This is the first time she's visited the Hanson since I was appointed as its Chief Medical Officer. And now, through means I still don't understand, she is plagued with a virus for which I wasn't yet able to find a cure for. I have to find that cure. I can't let her down. =/\= Shikako Kedzie to Sickbay, medical emergency,I’m on deck twelve, section four. It’s Commander Ford. I can’t find a pulse, but I’m not sure that he doesn’t have one =/\= Jason tapped his comm-badge. "Alright, Ms Kedize. I'll send someone down." "Doctor Black to Doctor Hope. You busy, Michael?" =/\= Not really, why? =/\= "Commander Ford is injured, Deck 12, Section 4. Report is that they can't find a pulse. Can you handle it? I'm a little overwhelmed over here." =/\= No problem, Jason, I understand. I'll take care of it. Hope out." -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- A little while later, he was looking once again at YrDis's condition, checking the hormone therapy's progress. He looked over at YrDis, and noticed his eyes were open. He went over. "Nice to see you awake commander. How do you feel?" "I feel fine Doctor. Why am I being restrained?" "You don't know? You were found wandering the ship, and for various reasons posed a possible danger to the crew. Unfortunately, an overzealous Security cadet found you, and shot you. You were brought here." "Alright. You asked me how I'm doing and I said that I feel fine. What do you think, doctor?" "Well, that I'm surprised you feel fine. One of the things you did, while you were apparently sleep-walking, was go near the Aerowing Shuttle Dock. You somehow came in contact with it, and copies of the cybernetic virus found its way into your body. Since they were originally designed to immobilize Borg implants, the nanoprobes the Drones placed in you have been deactivated. Unfortunately, your body had been growing accustomed to the maintenance they were providing. Your immune system is suffering from their absence, though I am working on repairing that with hormone therapy. Unfortunately, I have no gurantees it will work." He let that sink in with YrDis, but then remembered something. "Oh, and speaking of the cybernetic virus, I almost forgot." He tapped his comm-badge. "Black to Captain Marcell. Sir, I'm not sure how, but the cybernetic virus from the Aerowing has found its way into Doctor Mackler, and she is currently incapacitated."

Fenel didn't want to think about what she had seen, but no matter how hard she tried the Image of Ensign Carrington laying in a pool of her own blood just would't go away. In her qaurters Fenel had a long sonic shower, hoping to wash the memory away. How she longed for the baths of her home on Bolarius IX, cleaning without water was just not the same. After five minutes she realised she was technically still on duty and had neglected to inform Joan that she was taking a break. A wave of guilt hit her and she turned off the shower and slipped on her uniform.
The thought of walking the corridors with her tricorder sent shivers up her spine, the Hanson no longer felt safe. She would speak to Joan about carrying a phaser. On Bolarius IX Fenel had taken a few simple self defense courses offerd by her school, but had always held back under caution from her parents. If someone attacked her on board she doubted she'd be able to help herself.
"Computer Locate Lieutenant McCormick." Fenel Commanded.
"Lieutenant Mccormick is unlocatable." The computer chirped.
"Damn sensors." Fenel cursed. "What was Mccormicks last recorded location?"
"The Secondary turbolift." The computer reported.
"Where was the turbolift headed?" Fenel pressed.
There was a slight pause, as if the computer was pondering the question. "Deck 12"
Fenel took a deep breath to calm her nerves and headed to the turbolift. "deck 12" she commanded, she'd have to scan for her instructer manually.
This deck was nearly empty, which was no surprise since it didn't exactly hold areas of mass activity. Fenel felt the shiver up her spine, She should have paired up with someone else, or at least gone to the bridge first. Her Tricorder came up empty of Joan's signature, but it did show signs that the strange readings from before where growing stronger. "Lieutenant Mccormick! It's Fenel!" she called out, wondering if maybe Joan would hear her.
"Fenel!" she heard from down the corridor, it wasn't Joan but she recougnised the voice. "It's Kedzie, Commander Ford is hurt."
Fenel rushed over to wear she heard the voice and saw the Bajoran musician bent over Commander Ford lying on the ground. He had bruises on his face and was bleeeding from the mouth. "It looks like he was attacked, and not very long ago. The bruises have barely formed, and he hasn't been bleeding for long." Fenel stood up and looked around, scaning her enviroment.
"Do you think we're safe?" Kedzie asked.
"I don't know, however it is probably won't hesitate to attack a cadet or a civilian, but they have never attacked more then one person at a time." Fenel replied.
"But so far Commander Ford is thier secound target, w can't make general observations from that can we?" Kedzie pointed out.
"Maybe, but how do we know they haven't attacked anyone else. How's he doing, did you contact Sickbay?"
Kedzie nodded "They're sending a team. He's unconsouse. I can't tell much for injuries, I don't have a triocorder."
"I'll use mine, How about we stick together for a while okay, I don't want to be alone on this ship." Fenel suggested. "Are you alright?" she asked, remembering the mix of awful feeling she felt when stumbling on the Body of Ensign Carrington.

(OOC: Sorry for the double post, but its necessary. Due to Commander Rio's failure to return from LOA when he said he would, I will be taking over his position until he does)
Bates felt the ship come to a halt unexpected, knocking him to the floor. When he stood, he called out. "Alright, what happened? I hope that was just some Helm Cadet that loused up braking."
Reeve called over. "No, sir, it wasnt. The engines just went offline.
=/\= Hope to Engineering, what did just happen? Did we just drop out of warp and come to a complete and very abrupt halt? =/\=
Bates pressed his comm-badge. "Lieutenant Bates, Duty Officer, here Ma'am. We were hoping you could tell us. The engines just went offline, for reasons unknown to me."
=/\= Can you bring them back online, Lieutenant? =/\=
"I'm working on that, Ma'am." He went to his console, and attempted to re-initialize the engines, but the Computer denied the operation. He tried again, but all he got was "Access Denied." "It appears I can't, Commander. The Computer is denying me access. My guess is that this is the Virus at work again. It's slowly immobilizing the entire ship. I'm even losing internal sensors in various areas. I can't explain it, and so far I can't even correct the problem. I am unfortunately at a loss, Commander."

Black to Captain Marcell. Sir, I'm not sure how, but the cybernetic virus from the Aerowing has found its way into Doctor Mackler, and she is currently incapacitated."
"Okay Doctor, thank you," Captain Marcell said," Marcell to Commander O'Connor."
"Yes Captain," Matt said," the commander is undisposed at the moment."
"Okay, Cadet Reynolds, the virus needs to be taken out, it has infected Doctor Mackler."
"How is that possible?" Commander O'Connor said as he got out of the work station he was thinkering with.
"I don't know, and I don't care, you need to take out that virus," Captain Marcell said.
"Understood sir," Commander O'Connor said.
"So what are we going to do?" Matt asked.
"We're going in," the commander said and hit a few buttons and the door for the Areowing finally open and the two men walked into the ship.

When the call came through that Ford had been injured, Michael was in dubio. On the one side he couldn't leave the kids alone, though on the other side he had a duty to perform with one doctor unconscious, the other busy and the cadet also fairly occupied. "Dr Hope to sickbay, I'll attend to Commander Ford. I'm supposed to go on duty anyway."
He gazed apollogetically at the crewman he'd pulled in earlier, and who had stayed to enjoy a cup of coffee with Michael. "Would you..." he started.
"Go on," the crewman said, waving his hand to shoo Michael, "I'll watch them until the missus gets home."
Michael smiled gratefully. "Thank you," he said and was off. He easily located Ford, thanks to the reports he'd been given. He gazed up at Kedzie and Yevar, his gaze locking with Yevar's. "Weren't you with the dead teacher earlier also?" he asked, staring at her a long moment.
<Yevar>
Michael shrugged and looked the Hepta science instructor over carefully. Too bad his tricorder wasn't giving him anything concrete, so Michael pressed two fingers against the human's throat. "Weak pulse," he muttered, and leaned over him to glance over his chest while feeling with his cheek if the man was breathing. "Shallow breath," he continued, "Computer site-to-site transport, four persons, straight to sickbay on my mark." He gazed at the two cadets. "Security will want to question you soon." He called the mark and the four of them rematerialized in sickbay.
Michael busied himself with looking after Ford, but not before he'd contacted Wesson to send someone to interview Kedzie and Yevar.
~~~
On the bridge, S'reena rubbed her eyes. She was already overdue with going off-duty and it didn't look like she would be going anytime soon. Until Marcell gave her a long hard stare. She nodded quietly, briefed him quickly on what had been happening, and left the bridge.
Once she arrived in her quarters, she was met by Crewman O'Leary, who said he'd been watching the kids. "Would you be joining us for dinner?" S'reena invited.
"No ma'am, thank you," O'Leary replied, "I've got me own missus waiting. Maybe another time." He saluted and left the family quarters. S'reena turned and only just managed to keep her balance as Kahlan came running towards her, ten month old Yarna crawling quite fast right behind her. "mommymommymommy!" the girl shouted, leaping into her mother's arms as if she'd not seen her for ages.
"Hi there honey," S'reena smiled, as she bent to pick up her youngest and gave her a hug. "You hungery?" Both girls nodded vigorously. "Well, it's going to be replicated today, I don't feel like cooking tonight."
She settled the girls into their chairs, and went over to the replicator to order food for the children and herself. She shoved her own plate aside as she spooned up the food for Yarna. All the while she also kept an eye on Kahlan, where more food landed beside the plate on the table rather than in her mouth.
When she was done feeding the girls, she cleaned their hands and faces, and continued to feed herself. When she looked up after she was done, she noticed the girls faces were drained of all colour. Kahlan was starting to moan and whimper, but there came no sound out of Yarna, who sat limply in her seat.
S'reena jumped up, shook her youngest gently but gained no reaction. She yanked the child out of her seat and gathered her older daughter on her other arm. "Emergency transport to sickbay, 3 persons," she screamed. When she emerged in sickbay, she noticed the place was unusually crowded.
She spotted the medical cadet tending to a person suffering from severe bruises. "Doctor!" she called, and the cadet seemed startled at the sound of her voice. "My children," S'reena nearly choked, clutching both girls in her arms, "we've just had dinner and suddenly they're sick. Yarna's unresponsive, please....help me!"
Damion Walked out of the room after crave Wesson gave him further instruction <Crave Wesson>
He walked down the Hallway a little but felt dizzy , then started to remember what the Klingon had said about concussion coming back worse later on.
He decided to walk back to Sickbay just to be on the safe side .
"Deck 5" the turbo lift started moving but it made him feel worse. Just then Wesson Contacted him on comm badge and told him about a new attack.
=A= "should i arm myself sir"
<Wesson> as wesson finished his instructions the door opened and the cadet ran to sickbay.
He realized while he was running that securing the ship was his job. So far two officers were in sickbay and one was his doing and another ensign had died. Guilt washed over him like a cold salty tide destroying everything in its path..
The Doors Of sickbay opened and Damion walked to wards the new patient.
Jared had only just finished working out the reconfigurations for the shield emitter so that it would emit a graviton field around the ship and hopefully hold the crew in place when Marcell had asked him to check for who had put a hole in the ship's logs and warned him about McCormick.
It didn't take long to find out who did it.
'Captain, apparently it was Lieutenant McCormick who changed the ship's logs, however that doesn't rule out YrDis being able to use his Borg skills to hide himself.'
So far Jared had not left the bridge, a good survival strategy he thought. However, he wondered how long he could remain there while everyone else ran around the ship after the killer or was killed themselves. One of the main problems with staying in the one place though was that if the person wanted to try to do him in then they'd know where to find him. Well, better the devil you know, at least the bridge has few entrances and Sprite could keep a watch on them. Currently Sprite had moved from his spot in the corner to on top of a chair to try to stay as far away from any consoles as possible. It made sense, last thing he'd want is to become a zombie to an evil space computer virus. Jared wondered what had happened to McCormick's patchwork pet. If it could be found and wasn't evil then it could provide a link to McCormick. If it was evil then it would be a chance to remove a potential ally of McCormick's. Commbadge time, Jared thought 'Captain, McCormick had some sort of pet with her who seemed to be some sort of telesymbiont. If we can find it then it might give us a clue as to where she is, but it's entirely possible that the creature is helping her or in some way opposed to us finding her. It did seem over-protective and might react violently to an attempt to harm McCormick. If you do want to find it then the creature's name is Leena.'
<tag Marcell>
'Sprite, I need to go and collect something from my room, if you want to come too then don't touch any of the walls.' In a few minutes, Jared managed a record time run to his room and back. He hadn't seen any potential murderers on his way, but then he wasn't going to go looking for them if he could avoid it. Once he was back at his post, he set up a device he had picked up. It was small enough to be held in the hand and its job was to scan for any lifesigns within a certain radius. He hoped that it would provide enough warning of McCormick coming in one turbolift for him to be able to take the necessary measures.
"Well I suggest you get one of those building thingies to the doctor for examination, and see if you can somehow trace the figure that busted into the transporter," Crave said. Damion nodded, and exited the nursery to fulfill his orders.
Crave pondered on what to do next, and decided to head back to the bridge, and see how he could be of help from there. On his way there Damion called in. =/\= You're old enough to figure that out for yourself cadet, Wesson out. =/\= The turbolift came to a halt, and Crave found his place on the bridge. Still agitated by the state of his body he sank down, loudly sighing, and began to run a security system check.
“Are you alright?” Fenel asked Kedzie.
“I’m fine,” Kedzie responded. “I expect that everything may catch up with me later, but for now I think that I’m still in shock. Which I’m not at all convinced is a bad thing, since I think it’s the only reason that I’m not, I don’t know, hiding under my bed?” Kedzie suggested. The very idea that there was a murderer on board the ship was...disconcerting, to say the least.
Kedzie waited for medical help to arrive, and turned to Michael when he came. She watched as he checked Commander Ford over. She felt rather helpless just standing there, but she didn’t really think that she could help. Kedzie knew that she would probably have to talk to security soon, but she didn’t dread it. After all, she might know something that would help.
“Security will want to question you soon.” Michael warned Fenel and Kedzie, just before they transported to sickbay.
Kedzie nodded resolutely, a motion that was not seen, because Michael signaled the transport.
Kedzie stood near Fenel, waiting for security to send someone. “I don’t know if this helps, but I think it’s important,” she said, as soon as the person arrived. “Commander Ford was summoned to where he went by Lieutenant McCormick. And I don’t think that he was moved after he was attacked.” Kedzie then waited for the questions that she knew would follow.
"My children," S'reena nearly choked, clutching both girls in her arms, "we've just had dinner and suddenly they're sick. Yarna's unresponsive, please....help me!"> E’Liana looked up from her patient, alarmed to see the Commander in such a state. She looked at the bruised man, hesitating slightly. “Forget about me, I can wait! Look after the children.” She rushed over to the biobed that the Commander had placed her children on, and scanned each one in turn. Kahlan was moaning. “Where does it hurt? Can you show me?” E’Liana enquired. The child merely moaned again, calling for her mother. “Can you hear me?” The girl, again, said nothing. “Could you try please, Commander?” S’Reena looked panicked, but bent down to make eye contact with her youngest daughter. “Tell Mommy where it hurts…please…” Again, there was nothing. She tried with Yarna, and the child just looked through her, but she was not moaning. However, E’Liana couldn’t tell if the reason she wasn’t saying anything was because she wasn’t feeling anything, or because she wasn’t capable of communicating. She decided against voicing this opinion in front of the child’s mother, however. Continuing to scan the children, and deciding that her results were currently inconclusive, she gave each child a mild sedative which would allow them to rest for a little while. They looked as though they hadn’t slept for days, although she knew this wasn’t true. “Although my knowledge on Romulan medicine is a little sketchy, Commander, I feel I must say that I don’t know what is wrong with them. Perhaps you could help me?” She guided the other woman to another biobed, away from her sleeping children and gently coaxed her to sit down on it, casually scanning her as she did so. “Can you try and tell me what the girls have done today? Where have they been, what have they done, who were they with? I think you mentioned dinner?” The Commander briefed her on the days events, and told her how the dinner was replicated because of such a hectic day… ”And how do you feel, Commander? Please, try to tell me as much as you can, as I can’t get symptoms from your daughters.” <Tag S’Reena> “Hmm, I see…well from what I can tell – which isn’t much – I’d say your daughters are experiencing similar symptoms, but I’m not 100% sure. The reason for that could be as much to do with their mixed physiology as their age…but one thing does appear to be a link. The replicator. There’s a computer virus and people are also behaving oddly. One way of it possibly being transmitted is through the systems which we interact with which are capable of infecting us…Commander, I’d recommend based on current evidence, that we avoid using the replicators and perhaps the sonic showers until we can figure out what’s going on. If my assumption is wrong, the worst that could happen is that we get sick of ration packs, but if I’m right….what do you think Commander?” <Tag S’Reena – again> “Before we make any sort of announcement, I’d better check with Dr Black. Afterall, if it’s any system, it could also be affecting life support…I don’t know how we’d sort that one out, and I don’t want to overstep any boundaries…” <Tag Black>
Before Yevar could answer Kedzie steeped in announcing that the latest victim was lured in by McCormick to where he was attacked , not exactly evidence but a firm clue , and then he heard reports on McCormick from other security officers and realized she was almost definitely the one they were after.
"Computer locate McCormick" - *McCormick is not on board*
No shuttles had left and we weren't in range to transport anywhere so she had to be hiding some where.
"Dr.Black , if you have a Minuit i have an example of what may have been used for the Carrington assault, not the original one but one from the same "set"
<Black>
"Kedzie and fenel , i know this is hard but you need to return to the bridge where you will be most helpful... if you want to go now i will escort you"
<Kedzie , Yevar>
Before the cadets answered if they wanted to go Damion walked to the weapons locker by the medical officer and entered his log code.
He looked down at the weapons and felt a shiver down his spine. He closed the locker without a weapon and turned to see if a nurse was available. Just one . The Klingon.She was clearly waiting for the Doctor. He approached her slowly.
"Excuse me cadet , i need a favour??" she looked at him oddly. With contempt , he had the feeling that she could read his mind and knew the problem he had with Klingon's.. "i need two Hypo-sprays filled with a strong tranquilizer" <Tag Betor>
