Joan was busy as usual when Leena came bearing a message. She read it, and decided to work right then. Leena didn't like this.
"Don't forget what your mother said. She is there if you need her. Don't work yourself to death like last time," Leena said, and Joan smiled a little for a second.
"If it gets too much to bear, I will contact her. Don't worry, I don't plan to work the whole time like last time," Joan replied, and with that Leena left her be.
Joan sat down behind her desk, and started to work on a couple of reports, and noticed a crew rooster on her desk. ~Now who misfiled that?~ She thought, then noticed out of the corner of her eye out the window a flash of light.
Suddenly three men were in her office. "Can I help you with something?" She said wondering when they snuck in.
"What are you doing behind my desk?" A tall red head said putting his hands on his hips. Joan noticed he was a commander.
"Well, commander, I happen to know this is MY desk. Who are you, and what are you doing in my office?" Joan asked her voice getting a bit rough.
"I am Commander John Reynolds. This is my office. I would appreciate it if you removed yourself from behind my desk," he said, and she wondered what was going on.
"I am Commander 1st class Joan McCormick. What is going on here? Did someone send you to prank me?"
"No, ma'am, this is no prank. McCormick did you say? What year do you think this is?" He asked and she sighed telling him. He whistled.
"Welcome to the 31st century, Commander," the other man said, and she noticed he had admiral ranking. She stood quickly at attention making the older man smile.
"A little young to be a commander I would think, but then again who knows. I am Commodore James Paris, as you were," he said, and she moved from behind the desk.
"Well, if this is the 31st century, then your right, that's not my desk," Joan said and chuckled. Suddenly Leena was back in the office, and she looked scared.
"What's wrong? Leena, your shaking," Joan said going to stand near her friend who suddenly got up to walk on two instead of four. A couple of security men came in, and they had their phasers out.
"Put those away," Joan ordered and they noticed her uniform and rank.
"What is this, are we bringing back a new style, commander," one of them sneered.
"Enough, put those away, don't ever let me hear that from you again. Lt. Paris, I would think you would know better. I raised you better. Is there any word from your sister?" the commodore said looking at the one boy. The other got a serious talking to from Reynolds.
~Ah there, its okay. We have a few friends now, and I won't let anyone harm you, or put you away. You stay with me, and we will see what we can do to figure this out.~ Joan thought to Leena, who sighed and nodded looking over to Joan moving to stand a little behind her. Joan smiled knowing exactly what Leena was doing.
The Paris boy shook his head frowning. "Mom is really worried too. I wish we knew what happened to Angel," he said, and Joan could hardly breath.
"Angel Paris? Female with reddish brown hair and green eyes? Has a scar on one eyebrow? That Angel Paris?" Joan said hoping she was wrong. She had gotten their attention.
"You know Angel? How is this possible?" Commodore Paris said eyeing Joan.
"She is our morale officer. Maybe you should check your station. If I'm here, she might be as well?" Joan suggested.
"Man, I wish I knew what was going on here," Joan said and it seemed all were thinking the same thing.

OOC: This is a JP between myself and Angel Paris.
IC:
He was so happy to be back with his wife and the news that she had just given blew him away. Not only was she the most beautiful women in the universe, but she was carrying not one, but two of his sons. Before he even knew it she was telling him everything that had happened to her in the months that they were apart. To be honest it had scared him a little since he was positive that she had only taken one or two breaths.
Jason had convinced her to leave the store to her employees, and for them to take a walk around the base. They were now walking hand in hand talking about everything that had happened to both of them since the last time they talked. Though this time Jason made sure that she would take the time to breath this time. “So what’s up with not having a sign yet?” Jason asked finally getting to her shop.
"Hey, maybe we should plan a trip like that, have some fun and get that sign, we could relax for a couple of days, and I could see some of the sites," she said excited by this. She knew he had just said something like this, and waited to see what he would say trying not to laugh.
"Yes of course, anything that you want, honey," Jason said as kissed his wife. He realized that this had been the first one he had given her since he had arrived.
She kissed him back, and then leaned on him hoping he wouldn't mind. "So, what did you have planned for when you returned, and don't tell me nothing. I know you better than that Commander," she said smiling with a twinkle in her eye.
“I was planning on us taking a trip towards Risa, where we could relax and spend all our time together,” Jason admitted. He was going to surprise her by packing all her stuff while she was sleeping and mislead her into getting into a shuttle and head towards Risa.
“But now that you know, I’m not so sure,” Jason said laughing now. He resumed there walk, but almost instantly he noticed that something had changed.
Angel chuckled. "Risa," she said and groaned. "I don't like that planet dear. I was there once, and nothing but trouble came my way," she finished and noticed something different too. For one thing an officer she knew rounded the corner.
"Angel?" He said, and she was shocked.
"Yes, its me. I don't understand it, what is going on?" she said hoping Jason would have some sort of answer.
It was clear that Angel knew the officer that had just addressed her, but he did not. In fact his uniform was different than the one he was wearing. As he stopped and looked around he noticed that some major things had changed. He was sure that they were on Conqueror, but everything looked newer and sleeker.
“Oh my, is that Angel Paris!” a women behind them proclaimed which got everyone’s attention.
"Yes, its me. How are you Lieutenant? Do you know where my father is?" She said realizing what was going on a little better now.
"I would recommend trying his office, its good to see you, commander," Lt. Jensick said surprised.
"Ah yes, probably busy too, wait a minute, oh no. Jason we better go find Joan's office. I hope she hasn't had too much of a shock," she said frowning.
It didn't hit him until she had said father, but somewho both of them were in the future. It took a little nudge from Angel to get Jason moving again.
"How is it possible?" Jason asked still not sure how this was possible.
"I am not sure how we got here, but we need to get up there. My father could arrest her for just sitting in his seat," she said, and took his hand heading for the turbolift.
“That to, how is Joan here?” Jason asked questions spinning in his head. Before he knew it he was looking at phaser aimed at his face and an older man coming towards Angel. Jason immediately got into a defensive stance, but Angel told him not to worry.
"Dawks, put that down before you hurt yourself," she said laughing. The man with the phaser looked confused. "Angel?"
"Yup, righto. This gentleman is with me."
"And who exactly is this gentleman?" the man called Dawks asked.
"My husband, Jason Reynolds," Angel said proudly, and Dawks looked even more confused.
"Since when did you get married? And why wasn't I invited?" He asked looking a little hurt.
"Dawks, my own parents weren't even there. So don't play hurt. Its a long story as to how it happened," she said smiling at Jason.
“So we’re definitely in the future?” Jason asked to no one in particular.
“Future what are you talking about?” a Commodore asked behind them.
"Jason, they don't know about what happened to me, they don't know you are from the past. Well now they do," she said chuckling.
"Ah Commodore now, geesh mother we are in trouble now," Angel said chuckling a little more. The commodore shook her head.
"Angel, dear, the past?! Of all the dumb things you could do, but why the past?" Commodore Paris said shaking her head.
"Excuse me, Commodore," Jason said noticing the Bajoran ear piece. That made him wonder why Angel didn't wear it, but that could wait. "I would like to introduce myself, I'm Jason Reynolds and trust me, Angel being in the past is the best thing that ever happened."
Angel smiled, "Yes, a lot has happened since I last saw you mother, but I don't think this the best place to discuss it."
"Probably not. I was just on my way to see your father, why don't you two come with me," the commodore offered.

Brelev had managed to escape the reception being held for the newly graduated cadets and was headed for the Starbase Hydroponic's lab when she decided to stop by her temperary quarters to change out of her dress uniform. She stepped through the doorway to get into the habitat ring and turned the corner.
"Woah, watch it!" a voice yelped. Brelev looked up to see the beaming face of a human engineer wearing an odd uniform. She furrowed her brow, the corridor had been empty, where did this man come from. "Having some fun in the holodeck eh? Let me geuss... doctor in the 24th century solving some huge epidemic. My fiance loves that holonoval."
"Pardon me?" Brelev asked, was this man ill? Maybe she needed to take him to sickbay.
"Holonoval, the one with the 24th century CMO. It's very popular right now surely you've heard of it?" The man pressed.
"No, I have not." Brelev stammerd. Just then another crewmember turned the corner, a women dressed in a similer uniform.
"Oh, Jeffrey there you are. Commander Karel wants us to re-aline the sensors on deck 5... hello, great program isn't it?" she aske'd turning her attention back to Brelev. 'Of course when I tried the crew died tragically, if it was a problem in the engines I could have fixed it in no time."
"Who is Commander Karel?" Brelev asked slowly, either both these individuals where ill or someone was playing a joke. Angel must be back on board.
"Chief of Opperations, are you on leave from one of the ships? I thought with the war they would have everyone running full tilt out there." The women commented. She turned back to Jeffrey. "So anyway, I told him we could finish it by 1300 hrs, do you think I'm being optamistic?"
Brelev wracked her brains, maybe she was not better yet, there might be a side effect to that treatment they'd used... "What.. What year is this?"
"25th century, 2526 to be more exact. Are you alright... Commander." Jeffrey replied looking Brelev up and down.
"I'm fine, something is wrong though. I did not come out of the holodeck, I just came out of a graduation ceremony. This is my dress uniform. My name is Doctor Brelev, I serve, or rather served, on the USS Hanson back in 2392." Brelev tried to explain. The two engineers looked at each other and then back at Brelev.
"Umm, they did not teach us how to deal with this at the Academy, Ahhhh. How about you head to opperations and tell Commander Keral all about it." Jeffrey gave Brelev a sympathetic shrug. "Or we could take you to sickbay."
"I'll go find opperations." Brelev replied flatly.

OOC: JP between Angel and Jason. Like anyone was surprised to see this... lol
The ride felt like it was taking forever, and Angel grabbed and held onto Jason's hand not sure of what was going to happen once they reached her father's office.
"So, are you going to tell me where you have been, or is being your mother not a good enough excuse to worry about that?" the Bajoran commadore said turning to face the two of them.
"I went back in time somehow, I've been in the year 2391. This is my husband Jason Reynolds," she said quickly squeezing his hand a little hoping things would work out.
Jason was surprised when Angel’s mom chuckled. It surprised everyone in the room especially Angel.
“Only my daughter would find a husband in the 24th century,” Angel’s mom said.
"Yes, I would do so. I am also expecting twin sons," Angel blurted out, feeling a little angry at what her mother just said.
It was one thing to know that her daughter had married a man five hundred centuries in the past, but to know that she would now be a grandmother was to much for the commodore. If it wasn’t for the Lt. standing next to her she surely would of hit the ground.
“Commodore I know this is a lot to take in, but I love Angel and our kids,” Jason said as he took his wife’s hand,” so there is no reason for you to worry about us.”
"Just because there is no reason, doesn't mean I won't worry. I'm a mother, its my job to worry about her. I worry equally over all my children. As for this, well, I won't say anything more on your new family, dear, I'll wait for your father. Oh look, our deck," Angel's mother said stepping out when the lift doors opened. Angel followed still holding Jason's hand. She glanced at him before they started walking.
Jason knew that Angel was worried about the meeting with her father, but Jason knew that they could do anything together.
“Don’t worry, I’m hear for you,’ Jason whispered as they walked forward. "I know you are, and that is a great comfort to me," Angel whispered back as they came to her father's office, and she noticed there was voices inside.
"Dear, doesn't that sound like a friend of ours?"
As Jason listened closer to the voice coming from what he took to be Angel’s fathers office, he realized that it indeed sound familiar. It sounded to familiar, but it couldn’t possibly be hear, She to was from the 24th century.
“It does, but that cannot be her,” Jason said. As Jason listened closer to the voice coming from what he took to be Angel’s fathers office, he realized that it indeed sound familiar. It sounded to familiar, but it couldn’t possibly be hear, She to was from the 24th century.
“It does, but that cannot be her,” Jason said. .
"I do believe we aren't the only ones thrown into the future, dear. Let's go say hello to my father and Joan, maybe help her understand things a little better," Angel said smiling towards him.
As they entered the office, Jason realized that it indeed was Joan McCormick. When she saw both of them, she immediately stood and greeted them.
“Guys, is what they told me true?” Joan asked. "Yes, Joan, we are in the future, well I am home. I hid it from you, but this is where I am from. I'm sure with that brain of yours, we should be back in no time though," Angel said and winked. Joan chuckled.
"That doesn't mean it will get us out of this. Just means I've come prepared," Joan said smiling real big happy to see them both.
Jason was confused, but then again he knew that there was more to Joan McCormick than met the eye. He stood quietly next to his wife, ready for the questioning that was to come.
“Angel, welcome home,” an older man said to Angel. Angel stood in front of him, and saluted him, then she smiled and hugged him. "Hello, father, and I see we have my brother in the fleet too now. Well, he has done good, but not good enough. Although my rank probably doesn't count now," Angel said and chuckled.
"Man you have eaten a lot while you were away," her father said noticing her midsection.
“Well James, I would like for you to meet Angel’s husband, Jason Reynolds,” Angel’s mom said. Angel smiled, stepping back to stand beside her husband. Joan chuckled.
"I think I remember hearing how you two met," she said teasing them both a bit.
"I bet you do, and I'm sure that I remember some stories that Matt told me about you," Jason said as he looked at Joan trying to avoid Admiral Paris gaze.
Joan chuckled and blushed a little. "I don't think Matt will ever forget me. I know I will never forget him, and I am glad I met him. Just don't tell him that, wouldn't want his head to grow too big," Joan said laughing a little. Angel chuckled shaking her head.
"Well, well, now we have someone else in the family. How do you like them apples dear?"
"Jason and Angel Reynolds, here in the flesh?!" One of the others said that was standing not too far off with Angel's brother.

OOC: This was a joint post between myself and Angel Reynolds
IC:
Jason couldn't help but feel a bit out of place. It seemed that only he was having trouble being out of phase. He was delighted the he could meet and talk to Angel's family, but in the back of his head he couldn't understand how. It seemed that everyone was accostomed to talking to someone from the 24th century.
"Honey, why aren't they surprised to see us here?" Jason asked quietly.
"No one says they aren't. They are happy to see I am here. They may also..." Angel says but is interrupted.
"We are happy to see her. I won't speak for the rest, but I don't know how you got here. I would love to know more about that, send you and this Joan lady back to your present," Angel's mom said.
“Sorry to disagree ma’am, but I’m not going anywhere without Angel,” Jason said immediately noticing that she hadn’t referred to Angel in her statement.
"You are the one who is mistaken young man. Angel belongs here with us. If she was meant to be in the past, she would have been born there. To let her go back as well would destroy history as we know it."
"Don't I have a say in this?" Angel said looking directly at her mother.
"No, you don't get a say in this. Not only am I your mother, I am also your superior officer here," Her mother said, and Angel sighed.
“Look I know about the Temporal Accord or something like that,” Jason said which caused some to look at Angel with disapproval.”
“Well she was not supposed to,” Angel’s mom said.
“Well she did and that doesn’t even matter,” Jason said,” I will not leave my wife and children here just because you say so.” "Do we have to decide this right now?" Angel said not happy with any of this.
"Look, if she doesn't go back, then history will definitely be ruined. Who do you think our ancestors are?" the Reynolds boy from that time said deciding now was a good time to speak up.
“Well not much I suppose since all of you are in the Paris family,” Jason said,” so there is no way that we can make a difference in your ancestry line.”
James sighed. "He is not a Paris, his last name is Reynolds. Yes, son, I realize how this affects your family, but do you realize how it affects ours?"
Hearing his last name shocked Angel a little. She couldn't believe what she was seeing or hearing.
His hearing must have failed him, because Jason was sure that Angel’s father had said Reynolds. All at once thoughts came to his head. ~There are a lot of Reynolds in the universe~ or ~There is no way that…~ Even as he thought it he knew that he somehow was related to the young man.
“Did you say Reynolds?” Jason asked.
“Yes, my name is Noah Reynolds,” the boy said getting closer to both him and Angel.
"Mother, if you are so worried about history, then prepare me for that time. If I don't have any technology in me from now, then there is nothing to worry about with that."
"How exactly are you related to us? Wait, don't answer that. The Temporal Prime Directive would be in effect on this. It is good to see our line makes it to this time though. Gives some hope to our small family," Angel said taking Jason's hand.
“Well that’s good news, but I’m pretty sure it just wasn’t us,” Jason responded as he thought of his brother Matt and his son.
"Mother, if you are so worried about history, then prepare me for that time. If I don't have any technology in me from now, then there is nothing to worry about with that."
“Will that be enough for you to let her go?” Jason said looking at her mother and then at her. Jason had never asked if Angel had anything in her body that was from the future. He just assumed that most things dangerous to mankind had been erased from existence.
"If you were a parent, you would have the answer to this question already. Since you are not, no its not enough for me. She is my only daughter, and I would like to be around for events in her life. She can have the marriage annulled in a couple of days, then get on with her life here," her mother said, and turned to leave.
"Dear, have a heart. Our daughter is in love. Does that mean nothing to you? Because it certainly means something to me. She is happy for once in her life, and I am glad to see that. I think we should convince him to stay as well," James said smiling.
“Annulled? Ma’am I don’t know what you think about my character and upbringing, but I made a commitment to Angel and I will never allow anyone to even suggest that our love can just be erased and forgotten,” Jason said before he realized what Angel’s father had just suggested. He knew that he would stay with her in the 30th century, but his eyes fell on Noah.
“He has to go back, if he doesn’t go back I won’t be here,” Noah said looking at Angel’s parents and then at the pair. “If you stay, you will be condemning your future generations to death.”
"You don't have to tell me that, Noah, I am going back. I won't be the one to erase the Reynolds line," Angel said looking defiantly at her mother. She realized she hadn't done this since her teen years, but she knew this was going to be a long drawn out battle
“Angel you don’t even know if you two are the ones that started his line,” Angel’s mom said.
Jason had become quiet, as his mind tried to process what was being said. He looked at Noah and saw family. It was strange, only minutes before he had been a stranger from a different century. Jason could never kill one of his own, but he knew that he would do anything to be with his wife and children.
“Angel…. I think,” Jason began to say before Noah’s fist met with his face.
“You’re actually considering it aren’t you!” Noah screamed as he was being detained by some security guards,” you would actually…let go of me!”
“Release him,” Jason said as he got back to his feet,” let him go.”
Angel knelt down beside Jason. "Are you okay?" She was worried, and looked from him to the angry young Reynolds boy. She got up and marched over to him.
"I don't know exactly if you are from my line, but hear this. If we are related, then I am your great grandmother as he is your great grandfather. If you ever pull something like that again, I will take you out of this room, and beat the snot out of you. Do I make myself clear?" Angel said furious that her husband had been hit like that.
“Angel, let him be,” Jason said knowing that she would actually beat the snot out of the kid,” he has a right to be angry. He’s hearing a conversation that can end his very existence.”
“Look I’m out of here,” Noah said as he tried to leave, but Jason quickly got in his way and didn’t allow him to pass.
“Noah you aren’t going anywhere,” Jason said as he looked at his great, great, great, great grandson and then at his wife. “We are not going to kill you, your family.”
"How can you be so sure?" Angel's mom said. Angel groaned.
"What does it matter how he knows? It should be enough that he does," she said, and turned back to Noah.
"I am sorry, I didn't mean to flip out like that. I feel I'm the only one allowed to smack my husband in any way," Angel said and chuckled not looking at her husband just then.
“She wishes,” Jason smiled at Noah making sure that only he heard,” and even if is line doesn’t directly come from me I know that it comes from one of my siblings. Which is enough for him to be family.” There was a moment of silence in the room, they all knew what was going to be asked. “Well, what is it going to take for Angel to come back home with me?”
"You won't be able to convince me. She stays here," Angel's mother said.
"Let's discuss this at another time, please. We don't even know how to get back yet," Angel said feeling she was more apart of the group from the past than the present.
Jason was going to say something, but once he felt Angel’s hand he ceased. He looked at his wife and smiled, “we’ll figure this out.”
"Yes, just not now. We have other fish to fry, and bigger ones at that. Perhaps some quarters for me and my husband, as well as any other guests from the past. I know I am tired."

OOC: JP with Jason
IC:
Angel laid down on the bed and began crying. She had never faced this before, and she hated it.
Jason hated that his wife was crying because of him, but it couldn’t be helped. If staying didn’t effect anyone but him he wouldn’t hesitate, but seeing a future Reynolds made him realize that his family was still strong in six centuries.
“Angel, honey, I’m sorry about this,” he said as he sat next to her on the bed,” I’m sorry that I have to make you choose between your home and me.”
She rolled over. “That’s just it. I have already choosen, I am going home with you. I don’t belong here, and I know it,” she said and put her head on Jason’s shoulder.
He didn’t immediately respond to what she had just said, but instead just held her. “Do you think they will help us get back home?” Jason asked after a minute of silence.
“They will help return you to your time. It is me that they won’t help. Jason, if I am to leave with you, return home that is, we can’t let my parents know about it. Did you check the room for bugs dear?” Angel said not wishing to leave this position they were in, but knowing it was necessary if someone was listening in.
“I don’t know Angel, would they do that?” Jason asked non the less getting up to check their quarters. “Plus we have to take Joan with us, I’m pretty sure she’s not allowed to stay here, either.”
“It’s my mother, she would stoop low enough for that kind of act. Yes, it would be the five of us going back. Plus anyone else that is from our time. Someone needs to do a headcount and see how many of our officers and those visiting the base are actually here in this time,” she said trying to help.
“Your right, but I still don’t understand how this is possible,” Jason said,” I’ve studied a bit in time field mechanics, but this is totally over my head. Which means there could be a lot more of us or just us three?” It wasn’t everyday that Jason felt totally lost intellectually, he felt like he would just be a hindrance in there attempt to get back home, but if it was the only to get back home with his family would learn it all.
“So what are we going to do first?”
Angel smiled. “First you are going to kiss me and make things all better. Second we are going to bed. Thirdly, we will work out a good plan tomorrow. Does this suit you?” She said trying not to laugh at his expression.
It hadn’t occurred to him that they needed sleep. In the few hours they realized that they were in a totally different century. They met Angel’s family and now they were plotting against her family.
“Yes, it suits me just fine, thank you very much,” Jason said with a laugh as he kissed his dear wife. “ It sounds like a great plan.”
Angel kissed back and smiled. “Well you can’t be the only one who comes up with some good ideas for this family. Jason, I have another three months about before they come. I think now would be a good time to start discussing names.”
“You know to be honest, I have been putting that off,” Jason admitted as he looked at his wife. To be honest he thought that he would have more time to make this decision. He always dreamed of having a family, but he failed to come up with some possible names.” What types of names have you been thinking of?”
She frowned a little. “I had hoped we would be able to go back and forth with names. Oh well, I like Benjamin or Jackson. I also think a Jason Jr. would be nice.”
Jason could help but smile at the thought of a Jason Jr. out there, but he also wanted their names to have special meaning. As the baby naming process went on, Jason found it rather difficult to actually choose something. Benjamin, Jackson, Logan, Alex, Louis, and some others that they had come up sounded like great names, but choosing was being rather difficult
These thought brought back a long ago forgotten promise that Jason had made to himself long ago. “Angel, what if we name one of the boys after my brother, Kyle?”
“Yes, I like that. Kyle it is. Now we just need to name his brother.”

“Yes, I like that. Kyle it is. Now we just need to name his brother.”
Jason was overjoyed at her response and couldn’t stop kissing her stomach and her face. “I already came up with a name, now it’s your turn,” Jason said joking of course.
She smiled and enjoyed his kisses. Angel laid back and relaxed. "Well how about Alexander?"
“Alexander, I like it,” Jason said,” is there any particular reason for you choosing that name?”
"That is the name of my great-great Grandpa. I have heard great things about him, and I always liked that name," she said smiling. "So Kyle and Alexander. Seems we are ready for them now."
“Well then it’s decided, our kid’s names will be Kyle and Alexander,” Jason said as he grabbed his wives hands. He knew nothing about parenting, but together they would ready for them. “So how are we going to decide to name them?”
"That's a good question. I say we should look at the boys first. I believe the name should suit the look. I have often thought about my name and look. Do I look like an 'Angel'?" She said smiling wondering what he might answer.
"No name can describe your beauty my love, but 'Angel' is the closest to it," Jason said as he kissed his wife. "How about me, do I look like a 'Jason'?"
"Yes, you do. My behavior might suggest otherwise on my name though," she said and winked at him. She knew she was asking for some trouble, but hoped it would just be some fun instead.
"Trust me, I know," Jason said remembering some of things she had pulled," well I hope you stay like this forever because it what I love about you. Well that and some other things."
Jason couldn't help but look at his beautiful wife. She of course had her faults, mostly her nack for playing pratical jokes, but in the end that's what made him fall in love with her. He was sure that she would try to prank him sooner than later. Though currently he wanted to do something else with his wife than play jokes.
"A piece of latinum for your thoughts," she said trying to make a joke with an old reference. She could see something in his eye, and she thought she knew what it was and what he was thinking.
"Nah, all you need to know what I'm thinking is a kiss," Jason said returning her wink and a kiss.
Angel chuckled, and returned the kiss running her hands through his hair. "When was the last time your hair was cut?"
"When you told me you were expecting," Jason said laughing," I like the longer hair and I think you do to, since you keep running your fingers through it."
She shook her head. "Your too young to worry about the grey hairs they will give us dear," she said teasing him. Angel continued to run her one hand through it, and rubbed the back of his neck with the other.
"Honey, I will never have grey hair," Jason said as he enjoyed her caress." So what do you think, should I keep like this, let it grow somemore, or cut?"
"Dear, I think you need a haircut. I do like to run my hands through your hair, but not this long. So what do you have planned now?" Angel said suddenly feeling them kick her. "Dear give me your hand."
“Are you okay?” Jason asked as he took her hand and waited for the kicking to pass. As they waited, Jason ran his hands through her hair. “Well if you want, I will take off a few inches.”
Angel put his hand on her stomach where they were kick-ing, and smiled. "I am fine dear. As for your hair, I would like to see a few inches gone, but only if that is what you want," she said.
"It's only hair, plus I can just grow it back," Jason said as he continued to feel his sons kick. "They are kickers aren't they."
"Yes they are, maybe they will put that kick-ing power to good use some day. Oh and I bet we could help them find out how when they are younger," chuckles and realizes this is one of the best moments she has had in a really long time.
"Well I'm glad to know that we're going to raise hellraisers," Jason chuckled," and if they get their mother's looks, it won't be long until the girls come calling."
Chuckles at his comment, "Well if they are anything like their father, the girls would be around any ways. All that charm, hmmm, I am sure the boys will know what to do with it, just like their father does. As for hellraisers, surely you knew that was coming." Angel winked and smiled really big.
"Now I'm starting to get concerned, my genes and yours together. That may be to much even for us," Jason said smiling.
Angel shook her head still smiling. "What have we done to the galaxy, my my. Whatever shall we do?"
“Keep them away from each other,” Jason said laughing, “together they could destroy us all.” Jason of course knew that his children would be good people, but he could vividly remember what he himself did as a kid. “Seriously, if they are a tenth like you, I know we did a good job.”
"Well we can't raise our children outside the galaxy, where would we go. Not to mention we have duties in the Academy. Best we let the galaxy adapt like we will with these two. A tenth like me huh? Are you sure you want that?" She said teasing him a little.
"If it was up to me they would be just like you, but not so much pratical jokes," Jason responded with a loving smile.
Angel placed her head on his shoulder. "Well, I think some fun is allowed though."
"Yeah, though I'm pretty sure that I'm going to have limit the fun you and our kids have," Jason said," I don't want ONE telling me that my wife and son's have caused substantial damage to property."
Angel couldn't help but laugh, and ended up snorting a little. She covered her mouth and nose blushing a little.
Jason couldn't help but laugh with her, but when he heard her snort he bursted out laughing. "You know I didn't know I could love someone's snort."
She shook her head at this taking her hand down. She looked up at him and smiled. "You know, I think we have gotten used to this."
"Used to what, honey?" Jason asked.
"Being close like this, and each other. I don't know how long it takes everyone else, but we have it down easy and quick too," she said chuckling a little.
"And here I thought we had this a long time ago," Jason said as he kissed her neck. "Though I'm glad that we both know it now."
Angel closed her eyes smiling at what he was doing. "You certainly know how to treat a girl," she said and yawned after saying it.
"Well that may be, but it seems that you are sleepy," Jason said as he got up to find a change of clothes. He realized that he had totally forgotten about there problems and knew that only she could do that to him.
She opened her eyes when he got up and did the same. Angel replicated some pj's and changed into them. She got under the covers and hoped he would join her soon.
It didn't take him long to change into his sleep pants and he was in bed with Angel shortly thereafter. "I love you," Jason said to her and then kissed her.
She returned the kiss. "I love you more," she said and snuggled up close to him.
He always loved her closeness, but even more in bed. He snuggled next to her and watched her drift into sleep. When he knew that his wife and son's were safely in his arms he was able to relax and sleep. Before he did so he whispered," Honey, you don't know how much I love you."
Angel heard him, but was so close to deeply sleeping that she didn't respond. The next morning, she was first to rise. Angel got up and checked to see if there was anything she needed to listen to, and found a message from her mother inviting Jason and her to breakfast. Angel wanted to groan, but didn't do so not wanting to wake him. ~He looks so peaceful.~ She thought, then headed for a nice shower.
As soon as he realized that he was alone in their bed, Jason's eyes flashed opened. He was positive that Angel was problably in the kitchen or taking a shower, but he had been feeling overly protective as of late. When he heard the shower going he calmed down and waited for her to finish. He was positive that her parents had invited them to breakfast. ~Somethings never change, not even in the future~ he thought.
Angel came out and found her husband awake. She sat on the bed and leaned down as best she could giving him a kiss. "Good morning dear. Mother has invited us to breakfast. I would prefer to skip it if we can," she said hoping he would agree and think of a way to do so.
"Trust me I wouln't mind skipping it, but I don't think we need to anger them anymore than we have already," Jason said knowing full well that she really didn't want to. Though he was also certain that she knew that if she really didn't want to go they wouldn't.
"Considering my childhood and such, I wouldn't mind skipping this. I don't feel they are my family any more. I don't belong here. Going would only be a bad thing, I can see the disaster already, and we aren't even there yet," she said and sighed.
"Well then we won't go, we'll work on trying to find a way of going back home," Jason said secretly happy that she had decided to skip the breakfast.
"I am hungry though, can't think on an empty stomach, besides your sons won't let me," she said and chuckled. Angel moved into the kitchen, and looked to see what she had to work with.
"And I wouldn't allow you to either," Jason said," do you want me to help you with breakfast. I can take my shower later."
"Yes, please, it will go faster with both of us, especially if I end up hurt in all this, then you can continue to make it." Angel watched him come stand beside her, and she couldn't help but smile.
"Hurt, I won't let them happen either," Jason said as came up behind her and kissed her neck," I'll rather cook by myself than taking the risk of you getting injuried."
"Don't worry, dear, I haven't hurt myself in a kitchen in a very long time. I do enjoy your cooking, but I should do something to support us as well," she said and started to cut up some onion.
"Well if your sure," Jason said as he took the station next to her and began cutting up the other vegtables. "You do know that your beautiful when your cooking right?"
"I do believe you would say I am beautiful no matter what activity I was doing dear. You are cute to worry over me, and I am wondering....." she said starting to think a little. She had noticed his behavior lately.
"Are you wondering if I'm being to over-protective aren't you?" Jason said as he stopped a looked at her. He knew that Angel was more than capable of taking care of herself. She was a strong women who wouldn't take crap from anyone, but it was instinct to do anything and everything for her.
"Yes, I had noticed that. I am curious as to why you are so protective right now," she said and stopped chopping putting the knife down to look him in the eye.
"To be honest I think some of it is nature," Jason admitted," and the other part is that I couldn't live with myself if anything happened to you three."
"You are sweet. Know this though, I would never let anything happen to our boys. I love you so much," she said placing a kiss on his lips before going back to the food. She wasn't sure what to put in the omlets, but she looked around and did her best.
"Okay, but that won't stop me from worrying," Jason said as he kissed her and continued to prep his omlet.
"I know, but then again, I don't think you will ever stop. It is good to know you worry about me and the boys," she said and smiled.
"You know what, hopefully that will include another girl in the future," Jason said winking at her and then laughing.
