February Roll Call and LOAs

Okay, you all know the drill. So who's gonna be here for the final stages of the mission?

Commander Frek Thelev is here and will be for the rest of this new and short month.

Commander 1st Class Lorre Melain, MD and Acting CO reporting for duty and thinking she should change her title to "C1C, LM, MD, ACO"

I will be here all month, however due to an insane RL (so insane that my lunch and supper have been combined into one meal to save preciose time) I may not be as active as you have all come to expect. That said I will still post regularily and fullfill my duties as CO, I just might complain a little more in the process.

Some of you may have heard that Hannah has left us due to her own very busy RL. This means we are now down to 5 active members, more then half of which are on semi-LOAs. This makes me sad

However, we will have Josh Reo joining us in character as soon as I can figure out how to make that work and there is a large amount of promising cadets going through the academy!

Now I need to go write the ship report before Zhuk hunts me down and holds a phaser to my pretty head

I lied, I need to go on a short LOA this weekend from tomorrow until Monday since I will be on Campus all weekend working hard on theatre stuff

Contrary to all the evidence you have, I'm getting my head round my free time a little more. So provided I can keep my concentration levels up I'll be around all month.

I'm here, but I may need to be on a sort of muted LOA until the end of the month. I will do my best to post once a week though and more than that when time allows. I'm catching up with the story right now, so you can expect a post from me very soon.

Okay so it looks like next week I am now Stage Manageing 2 shows, Assistant Stage Manageing/running crew of another show AND now I am running the lighting board for a fourth show

This is all of coure happening in the late afternoon/evening. Since all my classes are basically in the morning that means I have early afternoons to myself. Ideally I will be able to keep my activity up on the Hanson and post here at least once given that I eat in my room, get no major assignments, I am not distracted too much by MSN and forgo all TV.

Just letting ya all know I love you enough to stick around

Oh, trust me, Melain, I feel your pain ... lol. I just got shang-haied into polishing two short scripts while still working to finish my feature length script and working to promote my school's entry in the up coming film festival ... Also, I've said it once and I'll say it again ... my Adv Screenwriting teacher is a Nazi of the highest order, she gave us less than a 6 weeks to write a feature length script ... whereas it can take professionals anywhere from 6-18 months. She's a wench ... plain and simple ...

I just found out that my step father is in the hospital so I will be heading home this weekend so I will be on LOA from this upcoming Saturday til ... probably next Tuesday. Hopefully, I won't be taking any more time, but there is no telling with my stepfather's condition.
