Please vote yes or no on the rules for the USS Nevada. Non-ship member votes will be ignored. Admiral Lin and Brigadier Hrisvalar may vote if they wish to, since they are the Fleet CO and Squadron CO respectively.
I assume these rules are OK, as I've only had one comment sent to me about them. No hard feelings, though, if you vote 'no'. I'm sure we can have rules that we all agree are fair and productive.
The rules are reprinted below for reference.
The poll will end on November-19, at which time I'll consider a 2/3rds majority "yes" of all who voted as passing. If less than half the crew votes, 'I'll keep the voting open until at least half of the crewmembers vote.
Rules
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1. Leaves of over one (1) week must be posted. If you find you haven't posted in the mission thread for seven (7) days, please post a Leave of Absence (LOA) giving a time-frame for your return. A PM or email to the First Officer or the Captain can constitute as a formal LOA in extreme circumstances, but is not preferable.
2. After one (1) week of inactivity in the current mission thread without posting a leave, the Captain or First Officer will send a PM and/or email to you. If you do not respond within one (1) week of said PM or email, you will be placed to Trivia Only (TO).
* This does not apply to members who have requested special permission to post less frequently prior to their assignment to the ship, or for those who are on a LOA. Inactivity warnings will occur at a proportional time-frame from last post or end of absence for these members.
3. Any complaints of other crew members shall be handled off the boards via PM, email, messenger services, or yahoogroups, and should follow the appropriate chain of command. Positive suggestions and comments, as well as constructive criticisms, are acceptable for the boards.
Guidelines
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- The command staff will not be poking for posts. If you do not post, you run the risk of being transfered to TO.
- Try to keep Out of Character (OOC) comments in the OOC thread. OOC comments in the mission thread should be reserved for plot direction by whomever is driving the main plot, and used sparingly.
