OOC: Whoa, you got here quick
IC: Steve looked at Kevin.....something seemed different about him, but he couldnt quite pinpoint it.
"I agree. I think we should wait until we can reach the Jefferson and ask them to assist us, or vice-versa."
He looked round the bridge, and pointed to Lt Lucas. "Everyone up here, including the Lt has been working hard on getting some power back to the bridge. We havent had much progress, but things are slowly coming together."
At that moment, the Bridge lights flickered on. "Well, thats a start." Steve added. "If we keep going, I am sure we can get the communications back online and get in touch with the Jefferson."

Turbo lifts or impulse engines? Max was thinking to himself. Max: "Hmmm....inny minny mini mo......IMPULSE ENGINES WIN! WE HAVE A WINNER!" Crewmember "Righ....t. Beginning impulse engine ingination sequence." Max, in a deep tone "Beginning ingination sequence." Crewmember "Um...well...we need your security clearance." Max, still in a deep tone "Sequence commenced. Insert security clerance." normale voice "Max..Alpha pie...hmm pie....11 18...pie...hmmm gotta love pie." Crewmember "That wont work!" Computer "Clearance granted." Max "Gotta know something about me. Food." Crewmember "o...k" Max "go...check the status." Crewmember "Everything seems to be running smoothly. All we need is navigation control on the bridge." Max "I will head there right away! try to restore power to the turbo lifts. I will see if Mr Johnson, our chief navigation officer, could use with some pie. I will bake some on the way. Tell Mr Gibson about our break through if you meet him...and his torn shirt " Crewmember "Understood" Max raced through the jefferson tubes singing to himself "Imma going to get pie! Pie pie pie! Me going to bake pie!" It made the trip go so fast! He arrived on the bridge. "Mr Johnson" Max said, as if he was Mr Smith from the Matrix. Johnson "Uh...hi?" Max "We meet...for the first time. I've come...with pie" Johnson "Oh...ok?" Max "Shall we...eat now...or fix the navagational systems? The Impulse engines are online." Johnson "You must be Max. Pleasure to meet you." Max "The pie is all mine." A awkard silence followed before they got down to some work, with Max looking to see if he could fix the navigational controls.

"There!" Aral gave a shout of success. He did a little dance behind his console.
"Mr. Gibson?" Commodore Loskene said, raising an eyebrow. Aral felt his face go red.
"Sorry sir... but I fixed the sheilds and phasers! There was a malfunction in the conduits, causing the power flow to be impeded. I was able to find the malfunctioning conduit and redirect the power through a different area!" Aral said proudly. He might not be an engineer but he could certainly repair his sheilds weaponry.
"Um... congratulations?" The commodore said curiously.
"Thank you, sir!" Aral said, unusually pleased with himself. After calming down a bit he went to work on the torpedoes. A few moments later the plating in the wall opened again and an unfamiliar woman crawled out. She was wearing the blue of a medical or counselling officer, and the pips of an A/E.
She nodded briskly at Aral as she walked by towards Loskene. After a word with the captain she looked a bit lost on the bridge. Aral hailed her over.
"Hello," He said holding out a hand covered in grime from the inside of the burnt console, he smiled apologeticly when she gave it a reluctant look before shaking it, "I'm Aral Gibson. Second officer on this broken down bucket we have here."
"Hi. Acting Ensign Joni Kel, newly assigned CNS."
"Welcome onboard, I know you're a consellor but I could use some help going down to the torpedo launchers on deck 4. Would you care to give me a hand?" He said hopefully.

Her talk with the captain had been short. She had wanted to inform him that, if and when the Comm was working again he should let the rest of the crew know they were okay. They could all use some reassurance. Nodding her thank you Joni had turned, just in time to see the small dance of the man. With an amused smile she had walked to him as he called her to him.
Trying as un-noticed as possible to wipe her hand on her uniform she listened to him. She grinned and answered: “Well, before I was joined I couldn’t even be trusted with an electric toothbrush, but with all those past hosts and with that 200 years of experience with starships I think I can manage. I’d love to join you commander, maybe you could give me an update on the way?”
“I think I could do that counselor, I think I can do that. After you.” He said and directed her to the plating she had just crawled though. She nodded and made her way through, patting herself on the back for making it look at least a little bit elegant.
“Oh and great job on the shields and phasers” She said as she gave him a hand to pull him up.

As he began to crawl along behind her, he chuckled, "Thanks.... I'm not usually that over-enthusiastic... its just I'm not exactly skilled around engineering, science, and navigation.... Makes me wonder how I ever made it into starfleet... Well anyway, I actually fixed something!" He heard her give a small laugh.
"Anyway... about the torpedoes- Our engineer, Max Power- told me we have the capability to fire 2 torpedoes."
"OK." Joni agreed.
"But we have to find out if, like the sheilds and torpedoes, its a problem with connections or if something is going on down with the actual torpedoes... following me?" He said as she opened up the plating to exit the jeffries tube.

“Following this part.” She answered as she worked herself out of the tube. “Just still not sure what caused all of this, I mean… Comm failed as well and it’s been a wile since I’ve been on the bridge. I managed to get some bits and pieces from the crew, but that doesn’t exactly give me a full picture.” She added, offering her hand once more.
As he joined her on the floor she released his hand and looked down to her dirty suit. She sighed softly before focusing back on the conversation.
“And you are a lot like me. I am completely a-technical by myself, but I cheat. I’ve got four previous lifetimes to help me. Honestly that is what got me though engineering exams. And my sense of direction is hiding somewhere too and is refusing to show itself. That is why I choose medical in the first place.” She said laughing a little as she hit her clothing softly to get rid of some jeffries tube dust.

Max leaned back...and he fell over. Johnson "Are you ok?" Max "yeah. Wow! Shields and phasers are online! beats working i guess. Can i eat your pie?" Johnson "Shouldn't we be working on navigation controls?" Max "Yeah...but im hoping it will fix it self like the rest of the other problems...maybe we could eat pie!" Johnson "NO PIE FOR YOU!" Max "Sorry...um, you pretty much set up for the rest of the repair work? im going to work over here on the comms and turbo lifts." Johnson "Understood." Max headed over to the science bit of the bridge and pressed a few buttons. A report on biology that a science officer submitted a week ago appeard. "Well, thats not the turbolifts" Max thought to himself. He got up and headed to the bit where the engineers worked off the bridge. Max "Hmmm...mmm...HMMMM...intresting." Max pressed a button. "Turbo-lifts are online" Max said, looking at the console. He pressed another button "Comms online" he said. =/\= Acting Engins Max Power to...Mr Ripped Shirt Gibson =/\= =/\= Go ahead Ensign...and its Commander Gibson =/\= =/\= All the pie to me sir. There goes my dream =/\= =/\=(with a bit of a chuckle) Understood Ensign. Thanks for telling me Half-way through a jefferson tube. Still hanging in front of the panel, Harrias withdrew a few more technical pieces of equipment, that he was sure a few of the new engineers coming through the fleet didn't even know existed. He took out a laser slicer, and after some amount of wondering, and not so little guessing, he cut straight through one of the wires. His mind was flashing something at him, but he ignored it, and kept working. He figured it must just be one of those annoying things, like you haven't eaten enough.
Fifty minutes later, he finished the job, and started to reattach a few sockets, that would finally reinitialise this system, and get the turbolift working. As he slotted the last one in place, and slightly green one, that looked as if it was burning out, something he made a note to repair when he had a spare, the warning suddenly clicked into place, as he heard the turbolift start to move above him. Quick as a flash, his gloved hand reached down to the rope and yanked it out from the karabiner, allowing himself to fall rapidly down the vertical shaft. Still he knew that the faster lift would catch up wiht him, and he just prayed that he could reach the bottom in time. The doors were flying past his eyes, too quickly to read the numbers, but just slowly enough for him to count them, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6... he knew he could fall to 10, and then he would have to yank stopped, so he would slow down in time to stop at deck fifteen at the bottom of the ship ... 8, 9, 10. He let go of the rope, which fell back into the stop position, and he came to a painful halt, the rope cutting into his back, and causing him to arch around in pain, but he was now laid in the bottom of the ship, having cut the rope without even noticing that he had done so.
He managed to tap his commbadge.
=/\= Harrias to sickbay. One injured Chief Engineer, lying at the bottom of the main turbolift shaft. =/\= He felt a transporter grab hold of him, and then sickbay materialized around him, or more accurately, he materialized in the middle of sickbay.

And my sense of direction is hiding somewhere too and is refusing to show itself. That is why I choose medical in the first place.” She said trying to pat some of the dust off herself. Aral gave a miniscule grin, remembering how she had looked at his dirty hand.
"Glad to know I'm not the only one. As for what caused all of this... its a long story... weren't you paying attention?" He said giving her a look.
"Well, yes, but it's sort of hard to pay attention when half the crew is running around and the ship starts falling apart."
"Alright then, well you know our original mission, right?" He flipped open his tricorder and made a scan of the small, compact room.
"Yes- Rescue the Ronaok in Sector 256, I think it was."
Aral nodded not removing his eyes from the tricorder, "Is that as for as you know." She nodded, "Well did you ever look out the window's yesterday?"
"No...."
"That might explain some of it- we were stuck in a different phase of space at a point yesterday. If you had looked out the window you would've seen either completely blackness or a beautiful nebula. Then somebody kidnapped Mike Pasek..." He said, trying to demonstrate how the series of events was so strange. He scratched the back of his neck, as he looked at the tricorder reading...according to it most of the torpedoes were fine.
"Can't imagine how I missed that..." Joni came over and peered over his shoulder.
"Well to keep the rest of it short. We then encountered the nexus, which decided it had a liking to the El Salvador, and so we rescued the Ronoak survivors and the El Salvador tried to shake the nexus.... unfortunatly we didn't have the calculations right, and instead of the nexus stop following us it exploded.... causing this." With his free hand he gestured around the room, which wasn't in as bad condition as the bridge but in worse shape than some other places. He gave gave a sharp nod of finality.
Joni looked impressed at the whole story. <Joni>
"Acting Engins Max Power to...Mr Ripped Shirt Gibson." Aral's combadge said, Max's voice communicating how funny he thought his comment had been. Joni gave him a funny look at the address.
Aral tapped his combadge, tring very hard not to roll his eyes, "Go ahead Ensign...and its Commander Gibson."
"All the pie to me sir. Comms and turbolifts are online. I don't know what you did, but most power is being restored all over the ship. Hmmm...your right...you have to be smart to be commander. There goes my dream."
Aral chuckled at the inside joke, "Understood Ensign. Thanks for telling me right after crawling through a long jeffries tube. Gibson out." He turned to look at Joni, who had an amused expression on her face.

OFF: Harrias, I though Communications were out on the ElSalv, along with transporters... unless you fixed that without the computer core? ON: Kevin was bored. It was one thing to have a broken ship, but when you had done everything you possibly could, and you just had to wait, the excitement sotr of wore off. Crewmember: "Sir, we have the pressurized suits ready and waiting." Kevin: "How many?" Crewmmeber: "24, sir. More than enough." Kevin: "All right. Anything else?" Crewmmeber: "No, sir." Kevin: "All right. If there isn't anything else to do, I'm going to try and configure my comm badge to the Jefferson's frequency." Crewmember: "How, sir?" Kevin: "I'll hook it up to a tricorder. It probably won't work, but you never know." The CScO set to work.

Post by Savot on Jul 31, 2004 4:20:39 GMT
Savot and Deis Irae, having trudged through the innards of the ship, found themselves at Sickbay in fairly good time considering. The doors had already been pried open to the main medical area and several people were there having minor crash injuries attended to, just as the Doctor had predicted.
Several of the med techs looked up at the new arrivals, and their faces lit with extreme relief as their leader in medicinal salvation stood before them once more, which was rarer and rarer as First Officer duties had begun piling up.
As Deis dove in to help where she could, Savot walked over to one of the main consoles and began punching away at the panel keys. Sickbay, as were all hospitals since the days of 20th century Terran culture, had its own emergency power backups which were much quicker to reinitialize than other ship systems. Savot manipulated the controls and got the emergency medical transporters re-powered through the backups, so they would be prepared when intra-ship comms were repaired.
*******************************
For the better part of the next hour, Savot aided Deis and her crew as best he could with his limited medical experience, often being merely a gopher for hypospray containers of different medicinal doses. Then, a hope-inspiring noise came over the intercomm.
=/\= Harrias to sickbay. One injured Chief Engineer, lying at the bottom of the main turbolift shaft. =/\= He felt a transporter grab hold of him, and then sickbay materialized around him, or more accurately, he materialized in the middle of sickbay.
Savot aided two techs in carefully lifting the Engineering Chief onto the nearest biobed, to which the Doctor hustled over quickly. The remnants of rope around the midsection had cut into the skin pretty badly when the rope went taught in the turbolift, so there was a significant amount of blood already lost.
"Savot, go to the back room and see if'n we've got any prepacked blood matchin' the Commander's DNA.", the Doctor ordered quickly, assessing the situation with a cool professionalism. Savot grabbed a medical tricorder, took a scan of Harrias, and headed back to the supply room.
Upon entering the disturbance was already noticeable, and a fair number of packs were obviously missing. Raising an eyebrow, Savot shut off the lights in the room, and initiated a sort of black-light pulse through the tricorder, with which he scanned the entirity of the room. As he expected, there were indeed fingerprints to be found, and he scanned them into the tricorder and began a database search through the personnel files of every crewmember, since it was logical to presume that it must have been someone onboard that seized the packs. However, for the moment Commander Harrias was in immediate danger so Savot located the appropriate blood type, thankfully omitted from the theft, and headed back out into the sickbay to present the pack to Deis and await the results of the print scan...#nosmileys

OOC: See, even the great Harrias makes mistakes sometimes. Indeed Zimmerman, the comm system and transporters should have been out. However, I'll get around the fact by claiming that some kind of emergency back up is created for this kind of case. It's complete rubbish, but let's go with it huh? Coz I don't want to be sitting at the bottom of a turbolift for ever.
IC:
Laying on the bed, Harrias mumbled before passing out. "Be careful of the symbiont..."
In his now comatose state, he started to dream. He had little idea of the relevance of it all, but he could see a red hot desert world, all he could see whichever way he turned was arid desert. No rocks, no plants, nothing but desert.
The dream Harrias walked forwards, in no particular direction, as there was no way to tell directions from here. He kept walking, slowly, aimlessly, not heading in a straight line, but in a kind of wavy but progressive line, as he were searching for something on the floor, and wanted to cover the ground quickly.
His mind started working, and he tapped the space where his commbadge would be, but found it wasn't there. Instead, he was wearing a civilian outfit, very reminiscent of his native Trill. He shrugged, and then stepped once more. As he did so, he fell done what appeared to be a trapdoor in the sand. His arms and legs flailing, he fell downwards, into a never ending darkness.
OOC: I got bored, thought I'd post while I could. No idea what's going on, just something to put while I'm waiting to be fixed up.

OFF: Hey, no problem; I really screwed up a few pages ago. Let's suppose you and I rigged up a temporary comm link to all the senior staff, the Bridge, Sickbay, and Engineering. It'll make things go quicker, and it'll keep you alive. To justify it, we could have taken all the reserve tricorder (especially the medical ones - they have an extra boosst of power), and used their power to attune all our (the senior staff's) comm badges and the aformentioned rooms, and supplied them with suficant power. Any objections, anyone?
ON:
The only subspace messages Kevin picked up was the El Salv's own. Most Federation starships had combadges set to a single frequency, but since Kevin had no idea what frequency that was, he'd have to keep searching - and with tens of thousands of possibilities, it was highly unlikely Kevin could find the Jefferson before the El Salvador ran out of air. Zimmemran had set the tricorder to halt and notify him whenever it picked up any transmission, or reprecussions of a transmission. That way, if anyone on the Jefferson was communicating at all (without direct contact, off course), Kevin could alert them to the situation.
OFF: I, too, was bored, so I just filled in a little more details.

Joint Post by Captain Smith and myself <<USS El Salvador, Bridge>> With everyone working frantically to get the ship up and running again, Agalacticae was trying to see what could be done to get the ship moving again. The most natural thing for him was to open a comm-link and scream at the Chief Engineer, but as they for now had more pressing problems at hand he choose not follow that thought…
Ever since the dazzling ride through the strings Agalacticae had been on the bridge and couldn’t help smiling on several occasions about what was going on between his Captain and the CTSO. Although they both tried to hide their affection for each other as good as they could, Agalacticae - especially while he couldn’t pilot the ship - picked up the constant attempts of both to be close to each other.
Just when he was about to contemplate on the fact that working close together and being in stressful situations often could conjure up deep emotions for each other, he was surprised by an incoming message.
=/\= Jefferson to El Salvador. Do you copy? =/\=
Apparently the Jefferson had succeeded in getting their communication system running and as they were able to receive the message Zimmerman and Harrias must have succeeded in some way to make communication available on the El Salvador as well.
Agalacticae, excited to hear a friendly voice from the other ship only turned to his Captain.
Agalacticae: “Captain, we just received a message from the Jefferson. It is audio only though”
Suprised by his CNO's outburst Captain Smith turned around and immediately responded to the Jefferson's call.
Steve looked at his CNO. "Thank you Commander." He replied, with a slight smile. He pressed the comms button on the side of his chair.
=/\= Jefferson, this is the El Sal. We copy you. Am I glad to here from you right now. We are having a bit of trouble over here. Virtually all of our systems are offline, and up to this moment, I didnt know that we had comms either. Our computer core needs to be restarted so we can work our way out of here. Are you able to assist in any way? =/\=

"You and him seem to have an unique working relationship." Joni said. Aral could see the counsellor in her was kicking in.
"Indeed." Aral stepped forward waving the tricorder toward each torpedo casing, "This doesn't look too bad...none of the torpedo's have actually been damaged...its the launching equipment."
"Aral Gibson to bridge, can you run a internal scan of the torpedo launching equipment?"
"Bridge, this is Fos, running sc-" Came Dimitrij's voice but it was cut into by some one elses.
"Jefferson? This is the El Salvador, we are trying to communicate using combadge frequencies- do you read?"
Joni gave a shap look at Aral who tapped the combadge, "Gibson to the bridge, tune the communication system into the combadge frequency. The El Sal is trying to communicate."
"Understood." Came the bridges response.
"Should we get up there?" Joni asked.
"Probably, the torpedo's aren't very urgent." Aral agreed.
"Lets get up there then." Joni said and Aral began to move towards the jeffries tube opening. She cleared her throat and he looked up to see her standing in the turbolift.
"Right, good idea." He said, laughing, and joined her in the turbolift.
~On the bridge~
"We've sent a message to the El Sal over combadge frequencies." said Loskene as Joni and Aral took their stations.
"Jefferson, this is the El Sal. We copy you. Am I glad to here from you right now. We are having a bit of trouble over here. Virtually all of our systems are offline, and up to this moment, I didnt know that we had comms either. Our computer core needs to be restarted so we can work our way out of here. Are you able to assist in any way?" Came Smith's voice.
Loskene gave a look to Max before responding, "This is Commodore Loskene. We are just repairing guidance and we should be able to assist." He waved at Max to get working on the guidance system. <tag=Max>

Down at the computer core, Kevin heard all the coommunications. He was relieved that something had worked - either the tricorder/comm badge operation he was working on had succeeded, or Commander Jira had done something to help communications. It looked like the Jefferson could get to the El Salvador and jumpstart the computer with plenty of time to go. Kevin knew Max Power would be able to fix the guidence system fast, so he gathered a science team (he'd sent most to Engineering and their quarters, as there was no more work to be done at the computer core until the Jefferson made contact with them), and waited for Captain Smith to give him and Commander (can't remember if you're a Lt. or not) Mike Pasek the go-ahead to jumpstart the computer.

Continuing to fall slowly down through the blackness that he had managed to find, without really meaning to. As he fell, he saw a bright light at the bottom. To start with, it was only a pin-prick, but it started growing slowly as he grew nearer to it. While he was dropping his mind wandered to the ever thrilling theory of calculus. He started wondering how the heck it worked.
Suddenly, his mind having been elsewhere, he smacked heavily into the source of the light. Which surprised him. He had always expected two things. Firstly, that there was no such 'bright light at the end of a tunnel', and seoncdly, that if there was, it would be soft and no painful to land on.
As he looked around the place that had provided the light, he found it was in fact very different to what he had been expecting. In fact. It was the bridge of a starship. Now he was confused.
OOC: Don't worry chaps... still dreaming here. If someone will just wake me up?

Max was working hard with Mr Johnson to get the navigational guidance system online. Max was amazed at how the Commodore waved to him when he was in engineering. All this thought was making him hungry.
"No" Max thought. "I will not eat!"
First time Max has said no to food since the Africian Food Championships back in 78, after he threw up in the 3rd round. He still went on to win though.
Max finally got the navagtional fixed and sent the data to Mr Johnson to put into the computer so the USS Jefferson could fly.
"Now the torpedoe tubes" Max said as he got 3 crewmembers to follow him to the tubes.
Off: Yeah, quick post...gotta go to bed. sorry.

"Open communication to the El Salvador!" Loskene ordered. "Transmission open, sir." Aral said. "Please send us your plan." <Tag=El Sal crew> Loskene turned to Johnson at the helm, "Please fly us closer to the El Sal, Ensign." <Tag=Johnson>

OFF: Joint post with me and Lt Lucas!
ON:
Remeti was very glad to hear from the Jefferson. She backed away from her panel. She noticed the that the CNO was on the bridge now. And just as she was enjoying Steve's company.
Steve tapped his commbadge: =/\= Mr Zimmerman, this is the Captain. Are you still at the computer core? If so, you have my permission to co-ordinate with the Jefferson and get us kick started. Smith out. =/\=
At this moment in time, now that they were out of immediate danger, Steve wanted to take a short rest in his Ready Room, and take a certain someone with him to talk to, but he had to keep focused.
Remeti nodded . The sooner they got storted back up the sooner they would get out of here. The sooner they got out of here...well for that Remeti had no ideas.
She stood up and went to her console and leaned against it. She hated not having anything to do.
Steve go out of his chair, nearly fell over, steadied himself and hobbled up to Rem. He put his arm around her and whispered in her ear.
"Now that we are waiting for the Jefferson, I think I'll go and get my leg checked out down in Sickbay. Fancy taking me?" He asked, with a smile.
Remeti grinned. "Of course." She paused. "Really think you are up to crawling through Jefferies tubes?"
"If you are with me, I am able to do anything." Steve replied.
Remeti blushed. "Alright." she finally got out. She wrapped and arm around his waist and helped him to the nearest jefferies tube. "So I go first and you follow?"
"Well, I think first I need to say where I am going, and why I have a beautiful woman on the other end of my arm." He said, the last bit being quieter than the first.
She gave a chuckle. "Yes don't want anyone to think anything inappropriate now do we?"
Steve let out a small laugh. "Well, in our current position...." Steve indicated how they were standing "...I think people already ARE thinking!"
He hobbled back down to towards the front of the Bridge. "Mr Agalacticae, seeing as we are currently in a bit of a lull, I am heading off down to Sickbay to get my leg sorted. Lt Lucas is coming along to assist me. If I am not back with a few hours, dont worry.....I most likely will have fallen over somewhere." Steve said, smiling. "You have the bridge."
Remeti shook her head in amusement as Steve walked back to her. She climbed into the Jefferies tube. "Coming?"
"Of course." Steve replied as he entered the tube after Rem. "If I go quiet and you hear a thud, its me hitting the deck."
Remeti chuckled. ""Well you had better be careful." she said. "I really don't feel like dragging your butt all the way to sickbay."
"And if I find you have dragged me anywhere, you can pay for a new uniform!" Steve jokingly replied.
Remeti glared, even though she knew Steve wouldn't be able to see it. "We'll see about that!"
"Is that a challenge?" Steve asked. Now that the crew couldnt see or hear them, he wasnt bothered.
Remeti laughed. "You bet it is."
Steve smiled, and wanted to have a joke. He held an arm out and grabbed hold of Rem's leg, and stopped her from moving it.
Remeti stopped and looked over her shoulder at him." Yes?"
"Trying to go somewhere?" He asked
"Well. I thought we were going to sickbay. But apparently we aren't."
Steve winked. "Well, we could go to Sickbay, or....." He trailed off.
She smiled "Or?"
Steve opened hid mouth, "Or..." He slid up towards her, got close and kissed her gently on the lips. "....this?"
Remeti kissed him back. "This is better than sickbay"
"It... sure....is....." He managed to say between kisses. "You know we ARE on duty though." Steve said, before placing a long kiss on Rem's lips.
She smiled. "Well you started it not me, sir."
Steve glared for a bit. "That doesnt mean that I want to stop....and please dont call me sir...al least not here."
Remeti nodded. "Alright, Steve I won't." she leaned forward and kissed his cheek.
After another long kiss, Steve looked into Rem's eyes and smiled. "Well, I think we had better get going, otherwise I will never get my leg sorted."
Rem reluctantly nodded and turned back to face the way she was going, and then she, followed by Steve, set off again.

OOC: Fine. That's it. I'm waking myself up. Whoever is in sickbay can write about how I get revived, but I am just going with be being awoken.
The bridge on which he had just appeared was still fuzzy, and he was having difficulty getting any details, other than the fact that he hardly recognised anybody there. He frowned fuzzily, and then nearly cried out as everything started to go dark again. This time when he opened his eyes everything was even more fuzzy, and a lot brighter.
"Please tell me this is the El Salvador. Please?"
There was some quiet polite chatter above him, and then a louder reply. "This is the El Savador."
"Really? You're not just saying that to make me happy?" He had always thought that someone would do that at least once in his life, although he supposed that that was presuming that people were kind enough to care whether he was happy or not.
"No Commander, I am saying that as it is the truth. This is the USS El Salvador-B, NCC-750029-B."
"Okay, yeah, I believe you. Mainly because Commander Savot wouldn't serve on any other ship in the fleet."
In his clearing vision he was sure he saw an eyebrow raised, and then dropped in a fashion that seemed to show his approval of the statement. He then saw Dr Irae next to him, waiting impatiently.
"Lemme guess, you want me stay overnight just to make sure I'm okay?"
"Ah would have said for overnigh' tests, but aye."

Smith out. =^= Kevin::muttering to himself:: "Well, that was fast. Must be busy." Crewmember: "What, sir?" Kevin: "Nothing. Standby to jumpstart the computer." =^= Commander Pasek, this is Lt. OFF: For anyone who hasn't heard, Tepes just bit the dust, so Kevin, who was infected, had some sort of spasm.
Kevin had just finished jumstarting the core. He was getting thirsty again, and decided to hunt once more. As he begain to climb into the nearest Jefferis Tube, looking for an unsuspecting crewmember, he shuddered. Then Kevin lurched forward, knocking off his commbadge as he fell into of the Jefferis Tube. The CScO grew dizzy, then lost conciousness.
