"I see you're here to train as a tactical officer. Good! We can never have enough security these days. So tell me, what brings you to our ranks here at Section 47?"
"Well Sir, my Father Lt.commander Park was killed after his ship was destroyed on a test flight, but no body was found even though it was reported he got out" Park Stated. "and with what happened with my sister i have wanted to join. One to find out what really happened to my father and to show that starfleet prep isn't a spy school."
"Do you have orders for me sir" Park asked
<Stone>
"Thank you sir" Park said

Konal entered the office of the XO, unannounced, and found a Cadet with him.
"Oh - sorry for interrupting." she said, not realizing he had company. "I was just coming to see if everything is still in order since I left for the latest training mission."
It had been a few weeks, but from what Konal could see, everything was running smoothly on the base.
"If you don't mind me saying, Colonel Stone, this Cadet needs to get to the Hepta. It will be setting sail shortly!"
The USS Hepta, flagship of the academy, was an interesting ship for training. Many eager instructors, each with a personality varying from the next. Konal was confident he would get adequate training.
"Good luck Cadet! She said as he turned to leave. And thanks for reporting in!"
She looked down at her chronometer. "Oh shoot! I'm late for the Hanson graduation ceremony! I'll have to come back another time, Colonel." And as fast as she came, she left.Go ahead and join the Hepta crew, Cadet Park. Good luck on your training mission!

After a little downtime, Noah finally decided to get himself reacquainted with Conquerer, and see what had changed while he'd been gone. Looking down the list, he spotted the entry:
Starbase XO - Lieutenant Colonel Marshall Stone
It would probably be a good idea to report into him, Noah thought to himself. He had arrived on Conquerer just in time to report to Hanson for the last mission they went on. Correction, he was late reporting in. Some formalities went undone. Time to correct one of them.
Noah reached down to the wheels of his wheelchair and moved them in opposite directions, turning himself around and away from his desk. He manuevered himself on over to the XO's Office, of which he found the door to be open.
Therefore Noah wheeled himself right in. "Colonel Stone, I presume?" he asked to the Marine at the desk. When Stone nodded, Noah continued. "Commander Noah Bates, the Hanson's new Chief Engineer. I didn't have time to report to you when I first got here because I was already late in reporting to Hanson."

Having arrived on Starbase Conqueror the egear and new cadet was antisapating meeting a friend of husband. Looking around the starbase there was a lot of activity bumbing into a Lt.in a teal uniform she askes where Lieutenant Colonel stone's office was. Given the directions she heads out to his office. Upon entering the office, she is greeted by Colonel Stone.<Tag Stone> Mdrago83 says "Cadet 4th class MDrago83 reporting as ordered" handing a padd to the Colonel "I wish to train as an ops officer, I was just wondering sir have you seen my husband Jdrago74?" <Tag Stone> "Also do you know a Cadet fourth class Jon Park? He is my husbands best friend. Did he leave anything for me?" <Tag Stone> "Thank you Sir" As she walked around the Starbase she found a little shop where sweets were sold entering the shop she was it was a backery.

ooc: Noah I'll leave a response to you to Stone when he gets back...
The marine colonel peered over his monitor at the young woman who stood at attention before him, then smiled encouragingly. "Relax Cadet," he told her, "there's no need to stand at full attention. Now,what is your name?"
Mdrago83 says "Cadet 4th class MDrago83 reporting as ordered" handing a padd to the Colonel "I wish to train as an ops officer, I was just wondering sir have you seen my husband Jdrago74?"
"I can't say that I have," Stone answered her last question first. Ops officer you say?" He paused, checking his records. "There do seem to be a fair amount of positions available in the fleet for when you graduate. Please explain why you choose to major in operations?
"Also do you know a Cadet fourth class Jon Park? He is my husbands best friend. Did he leave anything for me?"
This time, Stone genuinely frowned as a look of sadness briefly passed over his normally stern expression. "Cadet Park is currently training on the USS Hepta, however we lost contact with the Hepta a few days ago. Rest assured, we are looking for the ship as we speak. So no, I don't think he left anything for you. Now, about your choice of operations? You were going to tell me why this field fascinates you."
ooc2: feel free to give any response.

Marshall had just returned to Starbase Conqueror a couple of days ago. Starfleet had deemed it fit to actually assign him another covert mission, of course no one really knew that. As far as S47 had been concerned, Marshall had been off to some conference about proposed Starfleet academy changes. He was busy making up a report of his findings for Admiral Drew when he felt a presence enter his room.
Looking up Marshall was quite surprised at what he saw. ~Why is this commander wheeling himself about in this antiquated chair like that?~ He kept the thought to himself at first, but then became really curious when he found out that this was an engineering officer of all things.
"It seems to me, Commander, that maybe you could have made a timely entrance if you didn't have this old antique of a wheelchair. I hear antigrav is the latest trend, even powered wheels have been around for awhile."
It just seemed completely beyond Marshall's grasp on why an engineering officer, an instructor of the latest technologies even, would want to get around this way.

Little does he realize... Noah thought to himself. "Oh, make no mistake, Colonel. This chair is indeed powered." He lifted his right hand and arm to reveal the control panel. "But I typically prefer my own muscle power, as it helps keep me in shape. And anti-grav chairs tend to be temperamental. I'm a hands-on man anyway. When I choose to make use of them, this chair is equipped with servomotors to provide the powered wheels of which you speak, is capable of raising or lowering itself up or down short flights of stairs, and..." he said as he turned the chair around to make the back more visible, "a site-to-site transporter. As you can see, Colonel, this chair would not have prevented me from reporting to you before reporting to Hanson if I indeed had had the time to do so."

James had been allowed back to star base Conqueror to finish his training after all he had messed up on the Hepta 3 weeks in to the mission hand had been sent back home. Now he was back again hoping that the commandant or his XO would let him have another go at this.
Whilst he waited for his turn to see the stations XO he thought back to his first time standing outside this office. He thought ‘I hope he does let Me.’ he knocked on the door and waited for him to be let in to the office.
<<XO>>
“Sir, I promise I won’t Fail you “James said as he looked over at the officer as he knew that now he had to prove that he was capable of becoming a Starfleet officer and a good one at that. He stood there waiting for the XO to answer.
<<XO>>
“yes Sir, I am.” replied James as he stood in his Cadet 4th class uniform hoping that shortly he could be a first class cadet and prove his last instructor wrong and that this was where he was meant to be. He thought’ better not interrupt the XO.’
<<XO>>
After the Xo had finished speaking James turned and marched out of the office knowing that he had a lot to live up to this time around but he also knew he was going to be watched this time more closely.

Marshall should have known better than to make his idiotic assumptions. Of course, he was an engineer, and a good one at that Marshall realized. Marshall smiled at the man, “Point taken, Commander. Our engineering cadets are obviously in very good hands.
Marshall and Noah looked at the door when they heard the knocking. “Well Commander, it looks like duty calls. If you’ll excuse me…I’m glad you stopped by.” The two shook hands and Commander Bates wheeled himself out as a new cadet was given permission to enter.
The cadet saluted and reported in to Marshall. Marshall punched up his name on the terminal in front of him before he had the kid relax. “Stand easy while I’m looking at your file. Hm…I see you’re actually a returning cadet. Kinda dropped out during your third week here.”
“Sir, I promise I won’t Fail you “James said as he looked over at the officer as he knew that now he had to prove that he was capable of becoming a Starfleet officer and a good one at that. He stood there waiting for the XO to answer.
Marshall really didn’t have the time to listen to the details of what transpired in this cadet’s past. He simply noted that there were no comments or disciplinary actions in his personnel file, nothing to keep him from going through the academy again. “Well, you certainly sound like you’re ready this time.”
“Yes Sir, I am.” replied James as he stood in his Cadet 4th class uniform hoping that shortly he could be a first class cadet and prove his last instructor wrong and that this was where he was meant to be. He thought’ better not interrupt the XO.’
“Okay, good. Then go make Starfleet proud by becoming one of its finest. Dismissed.”
After the Xo had finished speaking James turned and marched out of the office knowing that he had a lot to live up to this time around but he also knew he was going to be watched this time more closely.

Marshall's thoughts were caught up within their own nebulous clouds as he was staring out of the huge panoramic window that reached out from behind his desk.
There was a time when the mere thought of a woman was just that...a thought. This particular woman however, wasn't just a mere thought. She had been hounding his mind since he had left Assailant and he wasn't quite sure why. That was a lie, he did know. She had been the first that understood where he came from, what his life was all about, and he didn't even have to tell her. She had been around the same circle of 'friends'. Yes, she knew who he was, and what he was all about, and that he didn't have to make any excuses for her.
A loud, boisterous voice caused Marshall to turn quickly back around, forgetting his thoughts for now. He accepted tha PADD from one '...Zachary Wolfe...Oerations cadet...' and perused his file.
"You know, if you put as much zeal into this profession as you have in the way you've reported to me, your next Captain should have no orries at all. Welcome to the Academy!"

Cadet Wolfe Thanks the XO and upon dismissal bolts for the XO's door nearly running nose first into it before it slides out of his way. Outside in the corridor the cadet leans back against the wall and thinks about fresh baked goods and his first mission on the Hanson.

Methos was walking about the starbase looking for something to do. He had heard that the new XO was a marine but had never met the guy. He decided to go introduce himself to the Marine XO.
Walking onto the command deck, Methos noticed that Admiral Drew's office door was still closed. I really hope that he comes back alive, Methos thought to himself. He also noticed that the XO's door was open. Methos walked up and noticing that no-one was in except the XO, knocked and waited for an answer.

After having a cup of coffee with Tiara Kayla the Bajoran he had met on the promonade Crane remembered that he had not reported in to the Starbases XO.
Jack arrived at the Xo's office and stood at attention and said with confidence in his voice.
"Cadet Jack Crane reporting in Sir"
But before The Xo had a chance to reply Jack continued talking.
"I am a Doctor I did my training on earth and after my wife passed away I immersed myself in medical training on the planet Vulcan. I spent two years there at on of there medical institutes"
Jack was still standing at attention as he watched the Xo look for a PADD amongst the neat pile on his desk.

Marshall found the PADD he was looking for and held up his hand to ensure the cadet held his silence as he read through it. After noting the particulars he was ready to address the newcomer. “Yes, you are indeed a qualified doctor. That’s good. Starfleet is definitely glad to have you join up…with the experience and all. A bit of advice, don’t be so quick to point out your qualifications next time. I’m sure you’re already aware that there will be certain protocols to follow in Starfleet medicine, but your service to those around you will be that much more difficult if you come across as someone that is pretentious because of their experience.”
Marshall could see that Cadet Crane wanted to defend himself, when the point must have driven home in his brain as he quickly decided to remain silent.
Marshall gave his electronic signature on the PADD. “There you go. Feel free to acquaint yourself with the starbase until your training vessel is ready to ship out. Dismissed!”

Cadet Marcus was waiting for the shuttle to land in the shuttle bay of Star Base Conqueror he knew his friend Jon was no longer aboard for three weeks having been posted to the USS Nevada as Tactical Chief. He was good friends with him but was always behind him in time that is. Park had gotten his orders from the Academy in San Fransisco and was off. He had waited for a week to open his letter only to find he was accepted. Now that he was on station he was mad He and Jon should have done there training together but oh well.
Heading up to the command deck of the starbase he heads to the XO's office a Lt.stone Jake remembered no a Lieutenant Colonel. Entering the office he Ron's in to another cadet. "Hello I'm Jake Marcus and you are?" The second cadet replies "Jake Crane Excuse me." and leaves the office. Watching him go he wonders if he will be his ship mate.
Going in to the inner office Marcus stands at attain. Cadet Jake Marcus Reporting for Training, Sir." Colonel Stone looks up in a little bit of a surprise he had not received this cadet's info. Checking his computer he retrieves the info.

Cadet Edwin Daris materialized in an old style transporter room on board a Star base named Conqueror. The next few months were going to be a test of his ability to preform the job of a starfleet medical Officer, he had studied the art of mental healing on Vulcan, electro stimulation at Nelvona III, and worked with a field medic on the Romulan Warbird Norexian, during the Tholian incident. 'This should be easy.' he thought to himself. 'A quaint training mission with a bunch of plebes.'
Edwin, (as his folks called him) thanked the transporter chief, and headed out the door to the nearest turbo lift. Vroooo, Went the quiet hum of the lift as it headed for the XO's Office. He thought he might go to his room first and put his bag on his bunk, but he had herd that Stone the XO was a hard nosed, quick tempered marine with a history of chasing the girls, synthahol, and a good time but the last three was only when he wasn't wearing the uniform. Daris decided to skip stashing his stuff and head strait to the office.
The door to the XOs office was open so Ed took a big step across the threshold of the door and stood in line behind another cadet. "Cadet Jake Marcus Reporting for Training, Sir." the cadet in front said. Xo Marshall Stone looked up from his desk with a wild eye. Edwin flinched, his back straitened and his head moved back wile his neck stretched. "Whoa!" Daris blurted. Then the XO's dead eye gave Ed the look, 'Lock it up Mister.' Whether he meant that or not Edwin did Lock It Up. Stone turned back to Cadet Marcus and said..........
Tag Stone
Tag Jake Marcus
Then after Stone had finished with Marcus, he turned to Daris. "Computer close the door." Stone said, and it was shut. Then stone chewed on Cadet Daris for a couple of minits...
tag stone
"Yes sir it won't happen again!" Daris yelped. 'This may be easy but it wont be fun.' He thought, as he handed Stone his PADD.

"Lock it up, Mister" Colonel Bridgeton said to the Cadet. Both Cadets had mistook him for the Executive Officer, and Dunn found the moment amusing. There was no need to inform them of the truth, he decided on the spot. He addressed Jake Marcus first.
"I see you will be starting your training mission in a couple of weeks." Dunn tossed the PADD aside, not looking at either of the candidates for Section 47's Academy program. When the Cadets started to stream in, he was rather surprised. When Colonel Stone left him in charge he did not mention meet and greets with the newly assigned Cadets. Social situations, however, were Bridgeton's expertise. Being a prosecution lawyer had taught him the manipulative skills he needed to interact with these impressionable bodies.
"Have you found your quarters?"
Marcus replied that he had. It was a good thing too... When Stone went away on special assignment, he had not left Bridgeton with any formal instructions. "Watch the office 'till I get back." echoed Stone's voice in Bridgeton's head as he ignored the answered he had queried for. The two officers had been friends since training... Bridgeton eventually going the paper pushing route, and Stone being more dynamic.
"Dismissed, Cadet," Dunn said, sounding uninterested. "Don't get yourself into trouble." It seemed like something he should say. This job wasn't so hard after all.
"And yourself, Cadet?" he asked Daris, noticing that the door remained open after Marcus's departure.
}Computer, close door{
"Well, you were so eager to speak before... aren't you going to say something?" Even though Dunn was getting the hang of the job, it incredibly bored him to play babysitter for new arrivals.
He took the PADD from the medical cadet. "I'll get this into the database, crosschecking your references and all." He didn't even look at the PADD, though, before dismissing the Cadet.
}Giulia{ he said over the communications channel to his secretary. }Please lock the doors until Colonel Stone returns.{
She laughed on the other end, considering the request as a joke. It was a joke, of course, but had she complied with the order he wouldn't have objected.

[Black]--On Andoria--[/Black]
Zhurak Shuarak while on andoria getting his things together, noted that everything was rather pleasant, nothing to worry about and he was rather happy about going to the Starbase Conqueror for Training in the United Federation of Planets because from there he would begin his course work through the academy. He also enjoyed andoria too. The blue icy cold planet as it was known, you needed to have all the necessary clothing on if you were a human, because if you did not, you were going to be frozen to death.
But to Zhurak it was like Summer weather. Nothing really changed, and the weather on andoria was always cold, and he loved the icy climate, he often learned to endure the tempature so much that his body could hold tempatures of -80 degrees fareignheight that was, a record breaker for anyone to accomplish on a normal day. You would often find Zhurak playing outside with his friends while he was a teen, and he would play some of the earthly sports that some know as baseball and soccer, but in colder climates.
Being very good in the sport meant he also had very good hand eye coordination, so he facilitated this skill and used it to his advantage when necessary. If he were to go after a bug or go on a hunting lesson with his father, he would be able to take it out immediately with no thinking back. He would make the coolest of trinkets like ice picks or a leave cutter made solidly of ice.
Thinking fondly of his experiences as a teen brought him back to his goal to be in the United Federation of Planets. Knowing full well, that leaving his parents, and gaining a sense of freedom was something he would be given. He looked at this opportunity and went on his way to the nearest starport. Leaving his parents, Zhurak said his farewells and then found the ship was ready for departure. Waving to his parents, with his mother in tears, Zhurak wished them well, and left his blue home, and left for a new one.
During the flight, Zhurak looking out the window saw the many stars that passed as he had only seen them from the ground, it was truly a great and awesome sight to be seen. Noting this, he dreamed, and would fall asleep upon this end up waking from his slumber to find himself the Starbase Conqueror in view. It was moments the ship would be docking in the docking bay, and Zhurak would begin on the career of his lifetime.
[black]--Arrival at SBC--[/black]
Eching more frequently, he watched as the docking port opened, and he saw the federation ships fly by, and the many ships that passed while in the bay. It was an amazing sight to be seen. Entering the Docking sequence as the ship responded, Zhurak got out of his seat and made his way on to the Starbase to find others like him ready to begin there training.
Finding his way to the nearest reporting area, Zhurak found the XO discussing things with cadets, then Zhurak had to find to chance to meet him face to face. Walking through the crowd. Zhurak met the XO and reported "Zhurak Shuarak reporting for training, sir!"

Bridgeton eyed the Cadet up and down. Lieutenant Colonel Stone had been called on special assignment indefinitely, and until he returned, Bridgeton was forced to fill the Starbase's first-officer chair.
"Zhurak Shuarak, the name's Lieutenant Dunn Bridgeton." He offered no hand in welcome, though. The feeling in the room was strictly that of bureaucratic business, and not of friendly overtones the rest of the Academy presented to new recruits.
"You aren't on the list." the shrewd marine said back to the Andorian Cadet. The list of Cadets that have reported to duty was compiled by the registrar at the base. If one didn't check in through official channels, however, they would have ended up on the list.
"Giulia," Dunn called into the room behind him. "Can you bring me the Cadet biographies?" His Andorian secretary came around the corner, giving a pleasant smile to Zhurak. She was a few years older than the Cadet, and about the same age as Dunn was. Her azure curves were seductive in nature, but Bridgeton did not react.
"I see we have your biography," Colonel Bridgeton said. "And you'll be training as a marine?" His eyes looked up from the padd without moving his head. Dunn sized up the marine cadet. The last marine Andorian he had been in contact with was the Brigadier Zhukarak Hrisvalar, then Colonel Hrisvalar. The terms were not so pleasant, though, as he was the prosecuting attorney administering his court marshaling. His distaste for Andorians was bred in that trial, and carried over now. This job was only temporary, though, and Stone would be back soon. He would just play nice until then and keep his mouth shut.
"If you could report into the "All New Members Please Report In Here" thread on the Starbase Conqueror board, that would get your name on our list. Commander Manto, the base's Public Relations Officer, has popped in here a few times. Rather don't care for Cardassian's myself, but she seemed more than willing to give people a hand at getting started. I suggest you go and find her there."
The inflow of these Cadets was starting to become a nuisance. How did Stone do it?
"You may go now." He didn't look up from his work as he said his final words to the new Cadet.
