Update ... the guy I have working on Lt. John's ship is ... still working on it ... I have two other people who started on the same ship last week ... so maybe we will have three or at least two to choose from (the other two people are a father son team so .. one may draw the ship and the other work on textures ??) anyway ... just remember that a 3d model, a good one anyway, takes allot of time ... please hang in there with me ...

I know that this ship isn't the mammoth that we all had talked about ... however, I would just ask that everyone keep an open mind as I believe that a smaller ship would better lend it self to great simming (just my opinion). If S47 still wants a large ship .. .then maybe this project will produce two ships ... (what does that do to your budget Elron [glow=red,2,300][/glow] ;D )

no, blow up an older s47 ship to put this into use, but not as the flagship. I really like that design, and it's too good to go to waste.

And I think we should forget the foldy (Engineering term there!) nacelles as well.

Narsil, I agree, they do look very similar. I really like the first one, It would be incredibly close if the nose was blunted. More realistic for that size too, I would think...

I like both.

Another note- Star trek Australia is back online if we like anything there.

Any updates on how the model for the new class is developing, yet? Would be good to be able to offer some criticism as it progresses, so that it's easier to make amendments.

I don't think we decided on which model to use.
I can obviously redraw the model that I did to suit any new ideas, etc, (and due to finding phone cable, upload pictures) but I thought we weren't decided to use that one yet.
