Fleet Representative Candidate Rules

The CSS has granted temporary authority to me to begin the Fleet Representative election process.
Please read the FR Rules located on the main site. To get you started, however, I'm pasting a few of the pertinent rules here. This is not an all inclusive list so please do read the complete rules on the main site. www.section47.semper-exploro.org/index.php?page=database&entry=20
3.2 All applicants must include a charter and details of a sponsor.
3.3 All applicants must obtain sponsorship by a Commander Grade Officer. A Commander Grade Officer may be anyone with the position of First Officer or higher with whom you have served. They may NOT be a member of the Command Staff. Sponsors may only support one candidate in an election.
3.4 The Charter submitted must be no longer than 500 words and include details of your policies and why you wish to stand.
3.5 Once a candidate has a sponsor, they should send their application for candidacy and Charter to the Returning Officer stating: "I, (Officer's name), hereby give notice of my request to serve as Fleet Representative. I promise to abide by the rules of the election and any choices made by the Returning Officer. My application is being sponsored by (Senior Officer's name)."
3.6 The Candidate's sponsor should email the Returning Officer with the following: "I, (Sr. Officer's name), confirm that I am supporting the nomination of (FR candidate's name) for the position of Fleet Representative."
3.7 Any person who puts themselves up for candidacy fully accepts the Section 47 Constitution, the CSS meeting rules and the rules and regulations contained herein.
3.8 The rules concerning the position of Fleet Representative are in the Section 47 Constitution.
3.9 All Fleet Reps should understand and agree to having their email address made visible on the site.

2. Who can stand:[/color]
2.1 Any member may stand as a candidate for Fleet Rep if they have been a member of the site for a minimum of a consecutive (6) months and hold a minimum rank of Lieutenant or equivalent civilian rank.
2.2 The following circumstances and members are ineligible to stand:
Voting members of the Command Staff
Fleet Commanders
CCS Notetaker
Returning Officer
Head of the Diplomatic Corps
Vote Counters
Cadets who have joined after the debating period has begun
JAG Chief Justice
Any member under investigation by JAG
Any member who has had any disciplinary action taken against them (2) months prior to the elections
Any member under suspension
Trivia only members or members on LOA
3. How to apply for candidacy:

Monday, August 30 - Sunday, September 5.............Debate open
Monday, September 6 - Saturday, September 11......Voting
