(Previous thread will stay open for a day or two to allow for any final thoughts people have. Aside from that, here we go. First full mission of 2396!)
Savot returned to the bridge; the exchange with the Founders had taken less than an hour and it was time to head home, retrieving Commander Jackson from Deep Space 9 on the way of course. "Helm, set course for the Wormhole and engage at Warp 4. Commander Hope, signal Commander Jackson upon our return to the Alpha Quadrant and inquire as to whether she is prepared to rejoin us."
***************************************** [Upon Return to Alpha Quadrant]
The Bajoran Wormhole swirled open and closed again, depositing the Prometheus class starship back into the Alpha Quadrant within proverbial spitting distance of DS9. Savot, rising from the center seat, spoke, "I'm issuing a 12-hour pass for the senior staff and department heads; return to the ship by precisely 2230 hours ship's time. Colonel K'ratak, you have the conn. Supervise docking procedures and then you may partake of the pass as well."
The vulcan entered his Ready Room and upon doing so was met with an incoming personal communication chime. Raising an eyebrow at the timing, Savot sat at his deck and brought the message up on his terminal. It wasn't live, apparently sent from Vulcan and it hit the ship's comm system once they'd returned from the Gamma Quadrant which helped to explain the curious timing. Savot activated the message sent by his sister Saevalis.
His sister's face looked slightly worried and for a moment Savot feared something had happened to their mother, before chastising himself for rushing to assumptions rather than calmly listening to the message to determine for certain what had happened. =^=Elder brother I hope this finds you well... but I am concerned about you. The forensic files of our father's death were accessed 2 days ago by a Starfleet computer=^=, her eyes narrowed and her face became visibly worried, =^=There is no logic in dwelling within that which cannot be changed, especially trying to keep such action from mother and myself. Please contact me when your duties allow; Live long and prosper brother.=^=
Savot's brow furrowed in confusion. Savot had been trapped in the Mirror Universe when his father suffered an accident that claimed his life; his katra had been lost because Saevalis and their Mother alone weren't able to reach his father's fleeing mind in the depths of his instinctive healing trance and that had to break contact lest theirs be lost as well. But he had not accessed his father's files since shortly before the U.S.S. Angel mission years before, which had probably been part of the reason that the hallucination he'd suffered under the alien artifact's influence had been of his father.
An almost imperctible impact flowed through the ship as they docked with one of DS9's pylons. As some of the crew made to enjoy their 12-hour pass, Savot dove into Vulcan's medical databases to try and backtrack wherever the inquiry into his father's files had come from.

Looking up at his captain he smiled it had been along time since he had docked a ship. He was more then able to do the job but still it was nice to have command even for just a few minutes he gave up alot coming back to star fleet but it was for the better. He grown tired of the klingon way of life and as Lynn had told him there was hope for his world if given time.
" Understood captain I will try to not scratch the paint or dent the hull." he was joking of course but had found humor could lighten the mood on almost any given event.
As he took the con he started to hand out orders and begin docking proceedures. He deactivated the computer controls and looked at the helm. " We are in for a challenge today we will do this manual inform DS9 to of our intention. Its always good to have pratice incase automated systems go down everybody"
Looking around he saw a few of the bridge crew smile and a few with worried looks. That will change when we have completed our docking he thought to himself. A few moments later with no damage to either the ship or DS9 the ship was docked. Looking around well you heard the captain if you are off shift enjoy your pass. Tapping his comchannel " Captain we have docked with DS9 and repair crews are boarding now to help finish with the minor repairs we have left" <Tag Savot>
There was one last thing he had to do it was more for respect of rank then anything else other wise he wouldn't have bothered opening another comm channel to commander Jackson.
" Commander Jaskon the El-Salvador is docked and docking port. Commoder Savot has granted a 12hr pass to of duty personal. I have taken advantage of DS9 offer of help with minor repairs to allow more personal of shift to enjoy the pass."
He hoped he had been able to sound netural when talking to her issues would have to be resolved non the less she was first officer and he would treat her position with the respect it deserved.

" Commander Jaskon the El-Salvador is docked and docking port. Commoder Savot has granted a 12hr pass to of duty personal. I have taken advantage of DS9 offer of help with minor repairs to allow more personal of shift to enjoy the pass."
She looked out of her guest quarters window and looked out into space before letting out a sigh, she tapped her comm. Badge.
“I already know Colonel, I will oversee the repairs myself make sure you take advantage of the twelve hours Colonel, you and the other department heads will have a lot of work to do afterwards Jackson out.”
The comm. Channel closed and Jackson turned around to face the bed with a small bag that she had packed earlier, picking it up she walked out of the quarters not wanting to spend another moment on Deep Space Nine.
Upon return to the El Salvador Jackson made her way straight to her office on deck two, not in the mood to make small talk with any of the crew nor explain why she had to go to Deep Space Nine in the first place. She sat behind her desk and activated her computer. Her eyes scanned the screen as she pulled up duty rosters and past reports from department heads. A new transfer caught her eye a new senior officer she raised her eyebrow as she read quickly.
Standing up she said. “computer is ensign Dawson on the vessel?”
The response punctual as usual “Ensign Blaze in turbolift one destination bridge.” She tapped her comm. Badge again. “Jackson to bridge when Ensign Dawson reports in send her to my office Jackson out.”
<Tag K’ratak / Dawson>
Sitting back down she continued to read and make notes on a small padd.

Looking at there new ensign and all of a sudden hearing commander Jackson call. That was quick he thought to himself what ever happened on DS9 to Jackson she wanted off quickly and back to the El-Sal.
Facing there new Ensign " Well Dawson you heard the First officer so you might want to get moving. Permission to come aboard granted and welcome. Now if I were you I would get moving not a good idea to keep her waiting to long"
Looking back at the view screen he to a seat the 12hrs were his to do with as he pleased and right now this is what he wanted to do. Things are going to be very wierd around here he thought. Everybody has secerts and it seemed they were going to come to light sooner or later. The only question was what would the effect be on the crew.

Stacey looked up as blaze walked into her office, with a slight nod of her head Jackson replied. “Yes Ensign, please sit down.” Jackson motioned her hand to the chair in front of her desk.
Jackson eyebrow rose ever so slightly at blaze as she walked closer to her desk, her surface thoughts that Jackson could hear the moment she walked in might have been amusing were Jackson in a better mood.
“First of all Ensign let me welcome you aboard, it has been far to long since the Tactical station were filled permanently, I read your Academy reports most impressive for someone of your age you should be proud.”
<Tag>
Opening her top draw in her desk Jackson pulled out a Padd. And slid it across her desk toward Blaze. “As you may or may not be aware you recently ran into trouble with mercenaries that boarded our vessel.. and while they were unique circumstances I would like you to see that it isn’t so easy for hostile forces in future, without a permanent head of security training has been allowed to slip.”
She took a deep breath. “Confer with Colonel k’ratak after your twelve hours of shore leave and have the Marines and security run through some training exercises nothing too heavy just enough to get the cobwebs out.. seeing as your new here I will leave you in charge of it perhaps it will help you familiarise yourself with your new staff.”
<tag>
With a slight nod, “Good, well now you have twelve hours to do with as you please, you may visit Deep Space Nine if you wish or take the chance to get to know your new crewmates.”
<Tag Blaze>
Just as she was about to dismiss Blaze her door beeped again, sighing she said. “Enter.”

"The commander was about to dismiss her when the door beep, "Blaze thought about how the Commander raised her brow at her an she seem some what short with the briefing.
'Which left her to think she must be in some awful mood. 'But yet somewhat amused by her but said nothing to the commander. "Oh for the love Pete she can't be telepathic can she?? does that mean she new what I was thinking boy did I ever step Into this time.

He left the bridge after a short time long enought he believed that Commander Jackson would have time to read status up dates on security. Luckly with the addition of there new crew memeber he wouldn't have to pull double duty anymore and focus more on his department.
Walking to Commander Jackson office 2 of his Marines joined him incase there was trouble. After recent events all crew were checked to makes sure they weren't founders. It was just a back up safety but one could never be to sure.
Standing outside he chimed her door and entered followed by his security team. He noticed there new ensign again and nodded in her direction. " Commander Jackson after recent event security protocal 09-367 has been activated. All personal who were present on the last mission are to be screened. Since events took you away from us you missed that until you have passed the screening to make sure you are who you say you are. You will have not authority on this ship per the regulation. Command codes are on hold after screen and prood of your identy they will be restored." <Tag Jackson>
Pausing for a moment because he was unsure of her respones he was hoping she might say no and agrue with him. luck for him there was no away around the regulation all personal had to comply reguardless of rank and position.
Turning to there new ensign " Ensign Dawson you are also required to be screened, while you were not present during the last mission it would help to establish your identy as well. Since this would be done in medical as part of your check we might as well do now" <Tag Dawson>
He waited or his first officer's reply he was sure she was not to happy " Commander if you check your message you see this come direct from star fleet command. After reviewing our list mission they agreed with the recommendation of the screening and its signed off by the fleet admiral himself. I'm sorry for any trouble this may seem to cause but orders are very clear on this once your clear it will be business as normal"
In trueth he was not sorry if it screwed up her day he was happy about it. He couldn't say that but right now thats how he felt. There was tention between them and it wasn't going to go away any time soon.

Commander Stacey Jackson was many things but a fool she wasn’t, even without being a Betazoid she could tell K’ratak was immensely enjoying his power trip over her, she fought back the urge to argue and stepped towards one of the Colonels marines. She held out her arm waiting for the hypospray.
“Well hurry up then I’ve not got all day.”
The Hypospray was painless and was of little annoyance the smug look on K’rataks face however was. After her blood was extracted and observed for ay signs of changing gold in colour she smiled at the Klingon colonel and said.
“Well now you know for certain who I am and my authority is restored my dear Colonel, I have orders for you… Ensign Dawson here will be running drills with security and your marines, She will be in complete charge of the drills.”
Stepping back behind her desk she looked up at him and continued. “Dawson is fresh from the Academy her lessons no doubt fresh in her mind.. including all the protocols and exercises that have changed since you were there.. it would no doubt be very good for the both of you.”
Looking to Dawson she said. “Ensign your dismissed.. and you two as well.. K’ratak you stay”
<tag Dawson>
Waiting until it was just the two of them she looked at him for a moment.
“Colonel I will say this and once only, whatever your problem with me deal with it.. I have far too much on my plate to be concerned as to whether you will decide to play games with me.. I have known many Marines in my life and one thing I learned was that when one is given an order they have two choices obey or resign.. so listen closely You will address me as Ma’am every time we speak I am your superior officer.. You will carry out my orders to the letter.”
She sat down but her tone remained firm. “Your conduct will be befit an officer of your rank no more arguing your orders in front of an audience.. you will set a good example for the junior officers Or I will find a Marine commander who will… and the next words out of your mouth will be and ONLY be Yes Ma’am… you are dismissed.”

He looked at her square in the eyes, admittedly he did enjoy the last few minutes, more so then he should have. So he was not shocked at the very least with here orders that Dawson would be charge of drills for awhile and he would answer to her. It made sense things had changed and there a good deal he might learn.
The last part did catch him a little off guard maybe he pushed her to far. Then again all he had done was take pleasure in making her uncomfortable he didn't abuse his position but still there were issues that needed to be resolved and it appeared they would not any time soon. What ever had happened on DS9 had put her in a bad mood and his timing and personal feelings had just pushed it over the edge.
Looking at her he thought about it for a moment his rage his klingon blood boiling over. He wanted to yell and scream but star fleet training to over. Quitely he removed his rank from his collar and his combadge from his chest and placed them on her desk. He only had 3 words to say all of them he said with a profesional tone " I resign Ma'am" turned and left.
Heading back to his office to submit his formal letter to the captain and star fleet command. Since meeting Commander Jackson there had been differnces, and now he felt relieved and a wieght of his shoulders for the first time in along time. This was not how he pictured it or how he wanted it to go but there was very little choice. He had hoped he and Jackson could work it out, it wasn't about arguing orders it was about making sure all points of view were taken in. He had never disobeyed a order in his life and would not but the need to remind him show just how far apart they were on this.

She was not surprised she had sensed it before he said it, she merely replied in a cold tone. “Then write your letter of resignation and present it to the Captain. Have your badge and phaser turned in before you leave, now get out.”
Watching him leave Stacey portrayed no sign of disappointment or anger. After he had exited her office, she looked at the door for a moment and said to herself. “Foolish child.” She could not help but think of his reaction akin to that of a small child denied a treat, thus she intended to treat it as such. Much as with her son when he threw tantrums in his youth ignore him until he got bored of the tantrum, giving him any attention would only encourage such behaviour in the future.
She continued to make notes on her personal computer updating minor reports and approving or denying requests that department heads sent to her; she was yet to lay eyes on a full report of the damage sustained to the ship only preliminary ones. She had no doubt it was due to the fact a full damage report was yet to be completed.
Standing she ran her hand through her hair and let out a small sigh and exited her office. With a slight severity in her eyes, she walked down deck two occasionally replying to a passing crewmember who greeted her. K’ratak’s resignation real or said only in the heat of anger made her think of the time she herself considered leaving Starfleet.
Although the situations were vastly different, she had just given birth to Dean and she had considered leaving to give him all of her attention. She had even filled out a letter of resignation at that time addressed to the Head of Starfleet Medicals counselling division. She still had that letter stashed in a drawer somewhere she kept it as a reminder of all she gained and sacrificed because of her decision to remain.
She still did not fully know if it was the right decision, her son Dean had grown into a fine young man himself very close to finishing his time at the academy. However, she often wondered if things might have been better if she had the luxury of more time to be a mother rather than an Officer and a Counsellor.
Now she did not know if she would ever leave service... She had often thought of late that she would simply be in service until she dropped dead, perhaps not as active as she was now but never the less in service.
Though as she thought about it more and her Grandchild yet to be born, she was more determined that she would one day leave Starfleet. Constant stress and roaming the galaxy was a game for the young.
Stepping into the turbolift she made her way to the bridge, it would no doubt be relatively empty. Nevertheless, from there she may be able to get a better idea of how long the repairs would take. Moreover, she had no doubt that if K’ratak decided to present his letter to Savot that he would wish to speak to her. Though she had no regrets with how she dealt with him to begin with, Sometimes a Commanding Officer had to be tough such is what it took to lead, and those who can’t handle that really had no place on a Starship.

"Mommy, I can't find my shoes." Jeisen tugged at his mother's hand, looking up at her expectantly. "Can you help me find them?"
"And I can't find my favourite car.." Jayvee cut in, pitching his tone to match his brother's. Both were vying for their mother's attention, and both were still too young to realise that their mother was visually handicapped.
Kahlan walked up to them, casting Daen a very wary look as the Founder rose from his seat on the couch. "Jeisen, Jayvee, I'll help. Mommy's going out in a few minutes. Perhaps Daen will help you search." She chuckled, trying to lighten the mood. "He can get to places you can't you know. Perhaps he'll turn into something nice for you. If you're pleasant."
S'reena smiled, patting her oldest daughter's shoulder. "You're a good girl Kahlan," she whispered confidently, "go help them find their things."
"I'll help," Daen offered, "and I'll meet you in your office later this evening, provided Michael has no other plans to get me settled here. I do want my own quarters eventually, but I'm grateful you're letting me stay here until the crew gets accustomed to me."
Again, the Romulan woman smiled, quietly stroking the golden creature in her arms. Auric warbled happily, nudging her bondmate for more attention. "I'm not quite sure when I'll be home, I'm going to see the captain." Her smile widened into a grin. "He still owes me a small favour, and I intend to collect it."
Auric took wing and chirped a warning as the woman started to walk. She appeared confident, and those who didn't know her wouldn't take her for a blind woman until they came closer and realised the winged creature acted as her guide. Several minutes later, she found the captain in his quarters. "Captain, I hope I'm not intruding? If so, I do apologise..."
[Savot]
S'reena straightened, tilting her head slightly to listen more closely. "I wish to continue combat training," she continued, "a while ago you offered to be of assistance. I was wondering if you would be willing to engage in a sparring session." She held up her hand to stall his answer. "I'm not too concerned about my inability to see, and I trust you. You'll challenge me, while being careful, but you won't spare me. I would like you to test my limits if possible. Armed or unarmed combat, I will leave the choice to you, should you be ah...willing."

Arriving at his office he packed a few things that he brought with him and typed his letter for the captain. As he sat typed he thought about everything that had occured and he knew that some events were his fault not all. The last one was for sure he honestly knew in his letter he need to address that. It wasn't fair to blame Commander Jackson for everything but on the same token she share some of it.
Computer find Ensign Dawson a few moments went by " Ensign Dawson I have effective now resign my commission my badge and side arm are in your office. My Marines have been instructed to follow your orders to the letter. There a good group and will do what ever you ask" <Tag Dawson>
with that done he open his computer and typed his letter.
" Commadore Savot,
Effective this star date please accept my letter resignation and apolgies for conduct unbecoming a star fleet officer. Since our last mission with the founders Commander Jaskon and my self have been at odds on almost everything. I can honestly say that I have carried out every order but have not shown proper respect for Commander Jackson. It appears that Commander Jackson confuse respect for her rank for respect for a person. She also believes that facing the facts of a misson and risk involved should not be voice as it might scare the younger officers. At every turn I have felt insulted and belittled by her. As a klingon I would have simply killed her. As a star fleet officer I'm not allowed on the same token I must admit my own faults. Instead of trying to work it out with her I have gone out of my way to anger her and push her buttons. The last incedent in her office was unacceptable for my behavior but given a choice I have to choose what I believie is right.
If we never question our orders in the right time a place if we never go to the one area we hate to talk about. If we simple just follow them then in a sense we are no better then the borg. I have put myself on report for the incedent in Commander Jackson office and made sure it was noted in my offical log. Futher more the issue of respect is a two way street I'm not Col. Wolf your former Marine Office I'm Formely Col K'ratak, I believe ever since I have come a board tha somebody might be comparing me to him I'm not him.
With respects Col. K'ratak " <Tag Savot and Jackson>

Needing somewhat more computing power than the standard desk console could provide, Savot re-emerged on the bridge. K'ratak had left, leaving the vulcan solo as he took his... rather the, Ops station to use the ship's computers to perform his query.
Bringing up the station, the transfer orders for the El Salvador's new Security and Tactical officer were displayed. Nodding to himself, pleased at the filling of another billet, Savot asked the computer, "Computer, current location of Ensign Blaze Dawson?"
=^=Ensign Dawson is in Commander Jackson's office=^=, came the swift reply informing Savot that not only was his first officer back aboard but already attending to ship's business once again. With the knowledge that Dawson's settling in was well in hand Savot continued working the Ops controls to send out a self-designed tracer program. After he'd enabled it and sent it on its way he looked at the ETA of completion... 7.2 hours. Instructing the computer to route the results to the personal console in his quarters Savot stood from Ops and entered the turbolift, just missing Commander Jackson's return to the bridge unbeknownst to either of them.
******************************************** [Captain's Quarters]
The vulcan captain figured a logical use of his time would be to engage in some exercise. Logic bouts with powerful entities and firefights with pirates notwithstanding, Savot had had little time for his usual regimen over the past few weeks. Changing into a sleeveless Starfleet workout shirt and loose-fitting pants of similar hue, he sat cross-legged on the floor with the lights dimmed. Some time later his door chimed.
Opening his eyes and rising to his feet Savot spoke, "Come in. Good day Commander Hope." He bowed his head politely when he saw his Science officer in the doorway and needlessly gestured with his right arm for her to enter.
"Captain, I hope I'm not intruding? If so, I do apologise...", S'reena began.
Savot tilted his head slightly an ever so slightly arched an eyebrow, "You cannot intrude where you have been invited Ms. Hope. Ergo, no apology is necessary. What can I do for you?"
Savot again lifted an eyebrow in slight internal amusement at her raised hand meant to pre-empt any concerned response on his part before she'd finished. "While we are often biased as to the extent of our own capabilities you are imminently more qualified to assess your personal situation than I, Commander, and as such if you come to me requesting a sparring match I conclude that you have considered all the relevant data and therefore have no need of any additional warning from me. My holding back during exercise would only serve to leave you vulnerable in an actual crisis thereby defying the very purpose of said exercise", he began.
Savot bowed his head slightly, "I value your trust and shall endeavor not to betray it. I believe unarmed combat would be a logical starting point as enemies can often deprive us of external weapons. If you care to sit I have 4.9 minutes remaining of my preparatory meditation at which point we can proceed to Holodeck 1." He pulled out the chair to his desk that was against the wall immediate to one's right upon entering the room, then resumed his previous seated posture.
It was unclear how much of the scene S'reena's familiar could translate to her mind, but the quarters were relatively simplistic overall. The aforementioned desk just to the right of the door held a standard console... and a pointy-eared bobblehead performing the vulcan hand salute off to the left of the desk's surface. That had been yet another of several questionable gifts from his friend Chester Delbridge. To the left of the entrace through a door-sized archway lay the bathroom which, while pristine, held nothing of interest.
The immediate entry area was empty aside from the workdesk, and it was clear Savot used this room for meditation and there was even enough room to perform some light exercise... most likely various martial arts katas. Across the room there was one other stand that held atop it a fairly substantial aquarium for his lone goldfish Alfred... another amusement-based gift from Mr. Delbridge when they both worked on Jupiter Station in Propulsion research. Atop the aquarium was a miniature stone fountain through which recycled water trickled down 5 tiers of rock before dripping into the fishtank itself thereby providing both Alfred with non-stagnant living conditions and Savot with an aural meditation focus.
Through another archway further to the right was his bedroom but that wasn't plainly visible from the entrance. Precisely 4.9 minutes later Savot rose to his feet again, "Please forgive the delay. Shall we proceed?"

Blaze accept what was needed to be she felt no need cause a conflict she accepted the screening by Colonel k’ratak.
Then she was stun by the words that Commander had said but did not show It hiding It well. Yes ma'am I will be sure not to let you down ma'am.
Blaze thought to herself I will be running drills with security and your marines, I will be in complete charge of the drills.”
Did I just hear right or was that my Imagination getting away with me?Then being dismissed.
Blaze exit the commander office an Realize that she was Indeed In charge of the of the drills.
"Blaze was not sure what was going on with the Colonel an the Commander she was sure that what ever It was It was none of her business.
" Blaze however she hope that what was going on between the two I hope that things work out for the two of them.
Blaze headed down to Security Office walking In she thought about the events of the day shaking her head In disbelief.
She Decided she did not want to know what happen today that she would focus on getting things prepare for training drills for the marines an security.
"An knowing It would be a good way rid of the stress of the day as well getting her mind off of what ever happen today.
"She began to work on a special program that will like being back In starfleet training grounds.
"She plan to add It to the holodeck Program In case she felt the need random drills just keep everyone on there toes.
She also wanted to get the crew ready for any problem that came there way
she wanted to beef up security an the marines on protocols, 'An find all the weak points on the ship an make them stronger.
She plan to update security system an the database an weapon system just make things run smoother on the ship.
As soon as she was done with writing up the a new holodeck program for the training drills.
She began to work updating the security database so there will be no need for the screenings.
She went through the all security an marine file familiarizing herself with all members she will be drilling.
Also familiarizing herself with the star ship plans of USS EL SALVADOR-B.
Decided that It would be best to take the tour of the ship an studying the all the weak points on the USS EL SALVADOR-B. She held the copy of USS EL SALVADOR-B star ship plans she mark all of all the weak points on the ship.
An then heading back to the Security Office to make a new roster for the security an marines to rotate them for shifts an then plan to have meeting with Colonel.
Then heading to the nearest turbo lift entering on the turbo lift she "Sighing" an rub her the back of her neck "Computer Bridge
She exit the turbo lift she then headed toward the tactical station She ran some diagnostic on the tactical station.
Then once done with that she put In new gel packs seeing that were needing new gel packs for the tactical station.
Then adding new programs that will make the tactical station run smoother blaze thought to herself I will have to test the weapon system later.
For now I think the security an tactical as well as marines will be please with the tactical station. Rubbing the back her neck yet again "sighing"
Thinking to herself yet again now for to load the new holodeck program for the training drills for tactical an security, marines. I will do have the drill done for tomorrow today I just need to get everything In order.
Blaze decided that she needed to make another meeting with marines an the security sense she was planing on making a tactical department an aerospace fleet department.
Seeing that would be good for hazard team she plan to make serrate security an tactical an marine.
An using some of the Navigation an marines for a aerospace fleet department so that way there be more security spread out In all weak points.
she also needed to talk with captain an commander about making a hazard team which would require Medical, Navigation, Marine, Security, Science, Engineering .
she finally finish up with making reports an appointments for the meetings for all departments she was off duty but still content on working.
Knowing It would not be a good Idea sense she still needed to meet the rest of the crew she then headed off the bridge taking the turbo lift.
she exit the turbo lift an headed off down the corridors heading towards the transporter room an ask the transporter chief to transport her to ds9.
Transporter chief telported her to ds9 soon found herself on ds9 she exit the transporter she was greeted by one of the members of ds9.
They decided to give her the tour of ds9 she raised a brow as how friendly the crew were but still went through all the routine protocols.
which she did not mind sense she herself was security officer she had high hopes to talk with chief of security of ds9.
But she knew that would have to wait she need to find the crew of USS EL SALVADOR-B.
she needed to get know them so that way USS EL SALVADOR-B will work like well oil machine.
If they all know each other they would know what to expect from each other as much she enjoy the tour of ds9 the ds9 officer your not enjoying the tour so what Is on your mind ensign?
Blaze "Was I that obvious?" The trill officer "no you were not that obvious In fact you hide yourself rather well she smiled at blaze so tell me what Is on your mind ensign?
Blaze shook her head amusement "Well If you must know I am trying to find the crew of USS EL SALVADOR-B so might get to know them sense I am a new crew member of USS EL SALVADOR-B.
The trill officer look at blaze "Your not much of a talker are you? Blaze look at the trill officer "no I am not my mouth tends to get me In trouble".
The trill officer well now "I see why you don't like to talk much you remind me of my Klingon friend of mine" he to Is not much for talk I would be lucky to get words out of him.
She chuckle out loud well I guess sense you looking for your crew I will assist you with the search of them. But later I hope we could spend some time together If you are not busy that Is?
Blaze well I am not one for social events but suppose I could sense I have been off duty for hours I will have to first spend time with the crew of USS EL SALVADOR-B. then I will then see about spending time with you If It Is not to late that Is.
The trill officer Come by anytime you want I am on R.R for week so am good to go oh an by the way your crew Is over there she point them out.
Blaze look where she was pointed at she smiled thank you she headed over where the crew was at.

Firestorm was just in conversation with Michael, who had joined him for a stroll on the starbase, when a young female walked over to them. "I really don't get what she wants with the Founder," Michael complained, "he's nice and he's proven trustworthy, and the kids adore him but really...does he have to live with us?"
"Merrow, I'm sure the captain will assign him a space of his own once he's settled?" The Sivaoan physician stared down on his Human counterpart. "Besides, he won't be there at all times will he. He'll probably be tucked away in some lab all day."
Michael shrugged, glancing over at the approaching woman. "Oh hello," he greeted, "care to join us?"
[Blaze]
Firestorm flicked his long tail in bemusement. "Greetings," he added, rolling the 'r' in a purring fashion. "Doctor Firestorm to Ennien," he introduced himself, "I'm a doctor aboard the USS El-Salvador. My companion here is doctor Michael Hope. His wife is Commander S'reena Hope, the chief of science."
[Blaze]
The Sivaoan flicked his ears back as he gestured to a seat, almost vacating his own. "So...are you a flygirl, a gunner, or an engineer?"
[Blaze]
"Ahh.." Firestorm lifted his glass of milk in his paw and drank it down in one gulp, then wiped the remains off his whiskers. "Care for anything to drink, Ensign Dawson? We're heading back to the ship soon. Perhaps, while we're at it, we can tend to your physical? Presuming you have your medical records with you?"

I have read up on all of you all are fine Officer it will be pleasure to serve with you taking seat next to the doctors.
" I would be a gunner no I am fine but thank you for asking I do happen to have my medical records with me.
I might as well get the physical out of the way It will be one less thing on my list of things to do I still have quit bit of crew I still need to see.
I will be heading back after I keep a promise to trill officer here on ds9 I believe she might be the chief science officer here ds9.
To be honest I am not sure how I got Into this mess Blaze chuckle to herself I think the trill might find Klingon's more social then me.

Joint post between Commodore Savot and Commander S'reena Hope. Posted in two parts as it was rather massive.
OLD: Through another archway further to the right was his bedroom but that wasn't plainly visible from the entrance. Precisely 4.9 minutes later Savot rose to his feet again, "Please forgive the delay. Shall we proceed?"
NEW:
S'reena had found the indicated seat and had sat down, waiting patiently. Auric had found the goldfish and peered at it with interest, but made no move to go after it. The Romulan nodded upon hearing her captain speak. “That would be...nice,” she answered, not sure what would be appropriate. “I haven't got anything specific in mind,” she clarified as they walked off, “you are the expert...”
After sealing his quarters Savot led the way to Holodeck 1, hands clasped behind him, "Expertise is a relative concept. Though I've indeed practiced numerous forms of physical combat for over 50 years there are many older than myself whose expertise far exceeds my own." At the computer, he selected a random wooded clearing from the holographic environments since actual enemies were unlikely to assault them on a convenient padded mat. The hydraulic drone of the opening holodeck doors allowed them entry, "After you Commander."
“Fifty years?” Despite her blindness, S'reena's eyes widened a little in surprise. “You didn't strike me as someone being over fifty,” she chuckled, as she walked onto the holodeck. “What are we facing? I smell wood and I hear birds. She walked around a little, but didn't stray too far before returning to the Vulcan's side. “With facing, of course I meant what is our surrounding like?”
Savot gave a slight bow of his head in confirmation, "I am 53 years of age actually." He paused, letting S'reena 'observe' their setting, "It is a dry wooded area, similar to that of Earth's Yosemite National Park. Our current location is a clearing approximately 30 square meters bordered by trees and large stones. No actual fauna have been simulated, merely the ambient sounds they would make so as to necessitate the focussing of your hearing and other senses amidst potentially distracting stimuli."
“Perhaps learn to fight later, when I get the hang of it without distractions,” the Romulan agreed. “53? You claim to have been fighting since you were a toddler?” She shook her head in wonder. “I wouldn't dream of letting Jayvee or Jeisen pick up a weapon right now. They'd only hurt themselves.” Slowly, she stretched her muscles a little, then turned to face Savot with Auric's assistance. “I can't judge my strength at the moment, because I can't judge distance. Auric is untrained, it is a learning experience for her too. She won't attack you, because I told her not to. For now, she'll observe.” S'reena paused, looking apologetic. “I have no desire to hurt you.”
"I merely began learning the forms during my toddler years; I did not partake of actual combat and formal weapon practice wasn't permitted until the completion of my kahs-wan trial", Savot explained as he did some stretching of his own. He then nodded at her other statements and raised an eyebrow in amusement, "An attitude that no doubt serves you well with superior officers." Referring to her lack of desire to harm him. "I selected the environment with the intention of exercising both you and Auric as well. In time she will likely be capable of alerting you differently to the proximity of natural obstacles versus the proximity of an opponent, and when this has been achieved your confidence of motion will vastly increase putting you on equal footing with whoever you face. For the moment I shall restrict my actions to defending your attacks, so you needn't restrain yourself", Savot finished with a nod, then circled 5 paces to his right and adopting a neutral stance.
S'reena listened to his steps, took a few breaths, then stepped out with her right foot, putting strength in a punch with her left fist, followed by stepping forward with her other foot to succeed with a punch of her right fist. She felt him deflect her punches, which gave her a fair idea of his proximity since she knew the extend of her own reach. Smiling slightly, she stepped out again, feinted with her right arm to follow with a swing of her left.
Savot was a scientist even in exercise. As S'reena moved, he noted the distance of her stride as well as the placement of weight on the balls of her feet or her heels to note where her balance was at each juncture. He deflected her initial blows with slight, simple movements using no more energy than was necessary. The Vulcan lightly gripped her right wrist on its first punch then entered a crouch sliding his right foot forward along the ground and turning upon his left. He spun under her extended right arm, his back moving just in front of her knees, and released her wrist as he made to stand. He gave an inner nod at her adaptive abilities as she immediately threw a right feint, which the act of dodging then put him into range of her follow-up left swing necessitating a block. Her follow through attacks had them once again facing each other, now in close proximity.
Smiling, the Romulan paused to listen, while Auric gave an approving chirp, followed by one of warning. S'reena stepped back, then spun and lashed out with her foot, landing slightly off balance, but recovering quick enough.
Savot saw the smile on his officer's face and took that to be a reasonably good sign that she didn't feel the session was being merely a waste of time. Pushing off on the ball of his left foot he sent himself backwards just enough to exceed the foot's range before stopping himself on the ball of his right foot and throwing himself into a jump diagonally off to his 3 o'clock landing in a roll back to his feet. The maneuver had bypassed the more easily followed sounds of footsteps so as to make S'reena either hear his landing well enough to gauge his new position, or Auric need to 'transmit' distance and placement more so than she'd yet become used to, or a combination of the two. Upon returning to his feet Savot remained unmoving until Hope had discerned his location.
“Clever,” S'reena murmured, as she listened in utter concentration. She turned left and right, keeping her arms up in a guarded position. She took a few small steps one way, then changed her mind and went into the other direction. Auric's chirps in different intonations directed her. Then, she jumped...
Internally, the captain congratulated both S'reena and Auric as he watched the Romulan intuit his location more and more precisely. Her shifting of weight before taking flight would've given Savot sufficient time to evade, but instead he chose to allow the impact since grappling was yet another dimension of fighting Hope could come across in the field. He shifted his own weight and turned slightly leading with his left shoulder so that as her pounce landed they would both be carried to the ground into a roll, her back hitting the dirt first and their combined moment continuing to turn them until one or the other stopped the roll or they reached the boundary of their clearing and impacted with a tree trunk.
Breath was knocked from her lungs as she impacted the dirt and he landed on top of her. Since she couldn't see where they were going, she let their momentum carry them towards the edge of the clearing until a small bush stopped them. She didn't dare reach out to force a halt, lest she break something. A little dizzy, she climbed to her feet, holding out a hand to help the captain up if he desired assistance. “That was fun,” she commented dryly, before sweeping his feet from under him with a grin on her face. It earned her an approving warble from Auric and she chuckled.

Savot had popped back to his feet fairly easily after they'd come to a stop, and he was about to reply to her statement when he saw the sweep. As he fell, he moved his arms to his sides and opened his hands to absorb the impact of the fall and as soon as he hit the ground his legs had already assumed a scissor position and struck at the backs of her knees. He then tossed his legs over his head to propel himself into a backwards roll to stand upon his feet again. Not bothering to dust himself off he now reached a hand down towards her, "Indeed."
She accepted the assistance, withdrawing her hand as soon a she stood. “You've a sneaky streak to you too,” she observed, “how...unexpected.” She stepped back one pace, before launching in a more rapid attack sequence. She knew he'd tell her if she was about to hurt him, and she was gaining confidence. So long as she knew where he was standing, or crouching, she could direct her attacks. She didn't expect to land any strikes, as he had the advantage that he could see her coming and he had the tactical insight. Either way, she was getting a good work-out.
Savot bowed his head accepting her compliment, then arched a brow, "On the contrary, surprise and misdirection are logical implements to use in combat. And at present we're not utilizing any rule set in which such tactics would render us disqualified." He ended up finishing his sentence amidst a flurry of resumed attacks and he fell into a defensive dance, constantly calculating where her body could move next given her current point of balance and the extensions of her arms and legs, thereby plotting his own movements to prepare for those while leaving himself sufficient opportunity to revise to counter feints. Over time he almost imperceptibly increased the speed of his defenses noting with satisfaction that her own strikes became likewise enhanced.
Panting for breath, S'reena paused. “Perhaps it's time to reverse the roles?” she queried, as she straightened and pulled her hair from her face. “I must admit, I haven't had this much fun in a long time.”
Savot paused as S'reena did, though he kept an amused eye out for any sweep-esque moves like before, "I'm pleased you're enjoying yourself Commander. I, too, find it quite agreeable to face a non-holographic partner. When you are ready...?" He paused allowing her to prepare defensively before going on the offensive himself. Keeping his arms raised for his own defense just in case he stepped forward with his left foot before spinning on it noisily in the dirt and bringing his right leg around in a sweeping kick, then planting his right foot and continuing his turn upon that one to lash out with a back-kick with his left leg. His turn completed, he was once again facing her at approximately 1 meter's distance.
“Ready,” she replied, listening to his steps and Auric's warbles. She deflected the first kick with her arm and nearly managed to catch his foot before it threw her off balance. She scowled in annoyance, then motioned for him to try again. Defending was much harder than being in the offensive, and now she certainly needed to relearn her focus. “Again,” she told him, bringing her arms up before her, putting her feet slightly apart with her left foot slightly put backwards, putting her weight on it.
Savot nodded, noting S'reena's likely irritation but her determination to temper her areas of weakness, and he began again. The same 2-kick combination at the same timing was performed again, though with a slightly less apparent grinding of his feet in the dirt this time. The physical timing required of her defense would be identical this time, but her sensory input would be lessened just a tiny bit.
This time, she did catch his foot and gave it a firm shove. “Don't go easy on me,” she grated irritably as she stepped forward in a defensive strike. “My hearing is as good as yours.”
He arched an eyebrow as he regained his footing, "Indeed. Most likely far superior to my own, hence my making my foot movements less audible because I knew you were capable of picking them out of the ambient background noise. Rest assured, Commander I have the utmost respect for you and would not patronize you." Savot entered the kicking motions again, same basic style but faster this time. He finished every pair of kicks by moving to one side or another and performing the same kicks but at varying sides of her and alternated the speed of each pair, faster one time, slower the next 2, then thrice even faster than the first, allowing no discernible pattern to set in. He did the same with his footfalls in the dirt, making them noticeably audible once, then barely evident at all the next, back and forth also defying pattern.
Several times, the kicks connected and the Romulan was sent flying back into the dirt. Other times, she sent her opponent sprawling as she deflected them. Determination was set on her face as Auric tried to direct her. The little gold learned fast, but to see with the creature's aid was something else entirely. The last combination sent her flying again and she remained lying down, arms spread out. Sand coated her damp hair and clothes when she sat up, breathing hard. “i think that's enough,” she said after a long silence, “Michael might wonder what I've been doing. I feel...bruised all over.” Yet she grinned. “Last time I came home looking like this, he accused me of brawling with fellow officers. But that was a few years ago, before...” She fell silent, not wanting to be reminded of that one terrible day.
Savot deftly rolled to his feet each time S'reena skillfully deflected his blows, and internally he was very pleased on her behalf upon her successes. He approached her at the end as she was laying down, and knelt beside her though not crowding her as she sat up. "I thank you for practicing with me Commander, your company is most agreeable. Though indeed I don't wish to provoke the ire of your family due to any physical abrasions." His eyes softened at her trailed-off story and he let the silence hang for a moment, "If I can be assured safety from your family's vengeance I'm certainly willing to continue exercises of this nature should you so desire."
Again, she grinned, giving her face a slightly devilish look. “Michael will just have to suck it up. He'd rather you be my sparring partner than anyone else. I'm sure you noticed he can get a little jealous? The rant he had at Daen, it was almost amusing if not flattering.” She winced as she got to her feet. “Yes, definitely sporting a few bruises here...” she concluded. As she straightened, Auric winged in and landed on Savot's shoulder instead of hers. “Auric seems to appreciate your efforts too,” she added.
Savot rose as S'reena did, tilted his head and arching a brow as he did so, "Indeed? I fear I've had little contact with Dr. Hope and as such have not noticed his propensity for jealousy. However, it would seem none involved were adversely affected by his rant." The captain leaned his head to the side as Auric landed upon his shoulder, closing his eyes as he gave a slight head bow before opening them again, acknowledging and expressing gratitude for the creature's apparent acceptance of him, "It was my pleasure to be of service to you both."
“I shall be looking forward to our next session,” S'reena promised, “now, I just need a shower and a good massage. I'm going to be very sore in the morning. I'm sure you have no such troubles...” She smiled as Auric claimed her usual perch. “Thank you sir, for an instructive afternoon.”

As the trill officer was telling the doctor about a certain member of USS EL SALVADOR-B was very much like there Klingon friend of there's.Blaze of course was standing right behind her with a raise brow.
The doctor smiled an tried to warn the trill about the Officer behind her who seem to have a rather amusing look upon her face. The trill finally taking hint. she behind me isn't s she? turning around with a smile on her facing blaze.

She sat on the bridge for the better part of thirty minutes before her annoyance began to fade away, she began to feel that simply allowing k’ratak to walk away would be a defeat for her. It would seem to confirm Admiral Jenkins suspicion that she was not suited for the job.
She looked down at the padd in her hand, the official letter of resignation she had downloaded from the computer as soon as K’ratak had sent it to her, and the Captain. Taking a deep breath she stood and turned to the young ensign who had the unfortunate duty of sitting on the bridge while in dock. “Well Ensign your in charge.”
It took her only a few minutes to get to K’rataks quarters, she pressed the buzzer and hardly waited for a reply before entering and throwing the Padd down on the table in front of him.
“I don’t like you K’ratak.. but I respect you enough not to let you shame yourself by taking the cowards way out.. It would be a stain on your honour you would carry with you and pass on to your sons.’
She stepped forward. “Resigning to answer a higher calling is honourable.. Resigning to save another’s life is honourable.. but resigning because your Commanding Officer is a big meanie is not.. I have perhaps cracked the whip a little to hard in the past but you must understand I have gone from Counsellor to the one who is looked upon to lead the crew when the Captain can’t.. I will make mistakes this I know.”
She raised her hands to stop him replying. “I don’t ask for your love and adoration, I don’t ask for your friendship, I don’t even ask you to respect me as a person.. but I will demand you respect my role.. I can not allow anybody to undermine me or my authority with the junior and senior staff.. as I would never do to Savot you should never to me.”
With another deep breath she added. “I promise to listen to any problem you have with my orders if you speak them at the right time and place.. I can’t promise to differ to your opinion and I expect once my mind is made up you will realise it is made up for good.. that is the best I can offer you, it is all I am allowed to offer you.. Now get your ugly Klingon behind back to work before I change my mind.”

He was a little shocked to see Jackson enter his quarters before he had a chance to answer the buzz. It appeared to him she got his resignation in some ways he thought that matter was closed. He was about to ask her to leave when she started going off again. This time he kept his anger in check and payed her the respect due her position. He was listening to what she had to say. He was more impressed then he showed the fact she came all the way down here to talk to him.
He kept quite and listened when she was finished he thought for a moment more. The for the first time very calmly he laughed. Not in away to be mean or disrespectful more of a suprise.
" Commander Jackson it took great courage to come here to my quarters, even more so to talk to me the way you just did. Its not easy coming to terms with events where your actions might have been wrong. It took me writting my letter to realize some of the things I did were out of line and disrespectful
I will stay on 3 conditions I know you might find this out of line but at least here them out. The 1st condition is very simple stop trying so hard, you were appointed to this position because Commador Savot saw something in you. You don't have to work so hard let the counselor part help find your way. Case in point you came and talked to me most Commanders would not have. 2nd condition and this is a personal one you think you understand klingon honor I would say there is more to learn then you think. While you may say I would dishonor myself I say I did what was best for the ship and its crew. Senior officers going at each other is dishonorable for that I'm sorry. I will follow your orders commander as long as they are sound and just.
3rd thing laugh once in awhile it would kill you to appear human, people are willing to follow you any where if you make yourself approachable. If you are willing to listen and let people be heard even if they don't agree with your orders they will follow. I will bring my problems to you at the right time and place. Please remember though I'm klingon sometimes I'm quick to react slow to understand and I will work on it.
"If you can live with that then I can obey your orders" as he pause to laugh again "and get my klingon but back to work the ball is in your court Commander"

Raising her eyebrow ever so slightly Stacey responded. “K’ratak I try hard because I must, Commodore Savot may trust me but even he has superiors of this I can not say anymore.”
Sitting down at his desk she looked to the resignation letter and then back to K’ratak, “Well perhaps my understanding of Klingon honour may be slightly off.. but I do know quitting the field isn’t kindly looked upon, you had many other steps to choose from quitting is the easiest.. but perhaps one day you will explain in depth your honour system.”
With a pause and a deep breath she added. “As for my orders being sound and just sometimes and just sometimes they may not appear to be so to you.. you will have to trust that they are.. Sometimes I can’t tell you why I need you to do something, just as sometimes a Captain can’t even tell his first officer.. these times you must trust that they know what they are doing.’
No standing she grinned and knocked the table. “As for appearing Human there was no need to be insulting, it is well known Betazoids are better looking, as for laughing Colonel well frankly I haven’t had much to laugh about you and Starfleet were not making things easy for me.. but I may remind you that it was I who started a food fight not long ago.”
She picked up the Padd and held it for a while. “As for this I never saw it, neither did the Captain. And since we never saw it you never resigned, hence forth your terms are agreed too with the modifications I made out, so I would say the ball is out of my court and it is time for you to get back to… whatever the it is you marines commanders do all day, well I think that was sentimental enough you can forget a hug.”
She turned to leave his quarters but before she left she added. “And Colonel your letter.. Nobody Compares you to Colonel Wolf.. he was ten times more annoying!” she laughed to herself as she left his quarters and made her way back to the bridge.
Once alone in the turbolift she tapped her comm.. badge. “Captain, when you receive a letter from Colonel K’ratak, Disregard it he has changed his mind.”

Nodding his head in agreement with here. " I believe Commander we have a understanding and know our roles. I still believe you to hard on your self but I'm a marine and not a counselor" with a slight grin" as for what Marine Col do well thats all hush and secert stuff" Grinning even wider.
" I will contact our new ensign and set up the training you ordered, Oh by the way Commander I can understand why you don't want to hug me after all. The Klingon male is a little to much for most woman to handle" This time he laughted out loud " But even we klingons know when to leave well enough alone. Now if you excuse I need to change for duty"
He watched her leave and hope she would relaxe alittle, for a counselor she's not very good at handling the pressure she puts on her self. Heading to his desk he opened a com channel to Ensign Dawson " Ensign Dawson it would seem you will be stuck working with me after all. If you are up to this challange I suggest we meet to go over some of the new training that has come out. I suggest your office in 10 mins after wards we will run the drills you desire" <Tag Dawson>
