In the interests of preventing a mutiny, we should probably try to get a proper mission started, since I don't want everyone getting bored, lol.
As you know, I'm really busy just now, so I'd appreciate some help with the mission this time. I've spoken to Bema about some ideas I've had, but I haven't had a chance to work them into a fully formed mission idea yet. I might decide to leave them for a later mission, so if anyone has any preference or idea for what to do next, please post your suggestions here so we can talk about it collectively. Alternatively, if you have a fairly complete idea for a mission and would prefer to keep it as a surprise, you can mail me and we can discuss how it might work. I don't think we've had many full missions on the BT that were run by someone other than me (at least not many that were successfully completed anyway), so this could be good training for some of you
If necessary though, I'll try to come up with something original to occupy us for the next month or so.

Perhaps we should do exactly that: a mutiny mission? A minority among the crew <NPC's> rebel against Starfleet regs and conquer the bridge taking the senior staff hostage? Or something similar. It could at least get the creative juices flowing. ;D
Just my two cents of input.

I quite like that idea, especially since a couple of us could then be dumped planet-side as a result. The difficulty is in coming up with a convincing reason for such a mutiny, though. Anyone got any ideas about how this could happen? And no slurs about my personal hygiene, please

Well there could be a crewmember who was passed up for promotion to bridge officer or something and he/she and his/her friends are now banding togeter for revenge? They aim to take the bridge, keep the senior staff hostage and demand that something's being done about this 'obvious maltreatment' of beforementioned officer?
You for example could've misread a physical report and decided the said crewmember wasn't fit for bridge duty yet and you promoted someone a little more junior than the person instead? Or DM or Saberwyn could've...

I've just had an idea that could set up my plans for the next mission quite nicely.
How about we receive a Starfleet distress signal from just outside Federation space? When we arrive, we discover a stranded runabout that suffered a systems failure during some routine charting mission. We bring them aboard and tractor the runabout into our hanger. Before long, these new crew members could start acting very strangely and eventually attempt to take over the ship. We can take it wherever we want from there.
Sound acceptable?
