Stood nearest to Savin seeing him bow to the Captain she could see that he was in some pain. She reached inside her pocket grabbing out an empty hypospray and a small vial she would load it. "Lieutenant here is your dose of insulin." She pointed out and handed it to him so that he could inject the dosage.

“Miss Benson, am I allowed to speak with you? I feel that I would be able to add something to the conversation, if that’s acceptable. I understand if now is not…an opportune time for visitors. If that is true, I’ll leave you all be.”
She was still half awake the pained trial had made her lose much sleep the night prior. She smiled weakly all the same, "Please do?" She responded to his request.

After listening to what he had to say she noticed that it was once more time for the recess to end, and she had a desire to complete this so that the ship could be on its way. She looked at the Vulcan once more sleepless nights would be over soon she missed her family knowing that they were having difficulties with her father. The young doctor had too much on her mind as she thought back once more to the operation. Savin at first rejected the test she struggled to make sure that he pulled through. Somehow she managed to pull him back to reality nearly costing his life in the process. His pulse dropped wildly and she had to act quickly in order to bring it back to normal...

"Captain," Savin greeted the Aly. She noted that his voice was rougher than usual and he was very ill at ease. Aly wasn't sure what emotion was driving him but was determined to do her best for him. He had been through enough
"I am...grateful for your presence," he continued, he bowed very gingerly, Aly wondered if he was still in pain. His skin seemed paler than usual. She smiled. "I wouldn't miss seeing you get off for all the stars in the quadrant." She was also here to ensure that he got a fair hearing. Kara had been doing a good job from what she had seen.
"I just got a message staying that the Excalibur is ready to leave dock as soon as we are. I have no doubt you'll want to give the starbase engineer's work the once over before that though." Aly wasn't quite taking it for granted that Savin would be returned to active duty as part of her crew but for his sake she was determined to show every confidence in him.

The Andorian sighed, noting her condition. He did not want to do anything to make her more concerned, or even more tired. In fact, he thought for a few moments that he should leave her alone. Nevertheless, Andorians were a persistent race, and therefore, he did not such thing. Instead, he granted himself a few moments in which to speak as he had planned.
“I wanted you to know that you may come to me anytime that you feel it necessary. I am a scientist, and not legal consul. All the same, it is an offer that remains open to you. I assume that you are quite tired. You appear so. It would, therefore, be quite wrong of me to simply stay here and pester you about things. I simply want you to know that my services are available if you need…shall I say…professional testimony?”
He then smirked a bit, as if it was a necessary punctuation to the way that he had formulated the statement. Perhaps, in this case, it was exactly that.

Aly was fighting to keep her face neutral as the Admiral spoke. She really wasn't sure what the verdict was going to be and she was finding this process incredibly drawn out and draining and she wasn't even actively participating.
"... and in conclusion. I find Lieutenant Savin innocent of being a Romulan spy but guilty on the charge of striking a superior officer. He is sentenced to ten days in the Brig. However in light of the external and extenuating circumstances laid out at this hearing, time served prior to the hearing is taken into account and the prison is free go and return to active duty as soon as he had been medically cleared."
The admiral paused a moment and looked pointedly at Doctor Benson. This was supposed to be a simply hearing but this crew had made it far more complicated than needed. He would have to watch the Excalibur carefully. It was clear that they were going to be trouble. Especially that Captain; she was too young for the job and he had opposed her promotion but she was some how pulling it off. Maybe it was her XO and crew covering for her
Aly watched as the Admiral left the room. She felt that she didn't trust him but she couldn't put a finger on why. She walked over to her crewmen. She nodded to Savin.
"It's good to have you back Lieutenant."

Aly offered a hand to Doctor Benson. "Congratulations Doctor. I shall have to remember your skill with words when we next have a diplomatic mission.

OCC: That should be the beginning of the end for this mission.
