Sam sat at the back of the shuttle, decoding the other data they had also received. They hadn’t just managed to get information on species 8472, but they also had other important tactical information as well. She felt a pain in her arm and look over at it a noticed that she must of cut when they were battling with the Borg on the way back to the shuttle. She looked it for a second, it was nothing much and then returned to her analysis of the data.
The ship shook and Samantha moved to the front of the shuttle. She looked at Felix for an answer and as he began to tell her. She noticed the Borg ship come around for another shot. They knew they had the data and wanted to stop them from returning with it. Samantha took her station. Robert was frantically doing evasive maneuvers trying to stop the ship from being hit and trying to get to the nearest vessel. The shuttle was knocked from side to side.
“Engines are going down,” reported Felix. Samantha knew that system was vital and began to re-route the power from another system.
“Re-routing power from replicators,” she informed. She felt another few shouts and she ship seem to be flying very unevenly as the port engines went down. Robert tried his best to condensate and Samantha increased the power to starboard engines. But it seemed they’d never reach the closed starship. Then she saw one of the ships out of the window giving them cover. After a few minutes they made to the shuttle doors of one of the vessels.
=/\= Requesting permission to dock =/\= Robert asked.
=/\= Permission granted =/\= came the response and the shuttle enter the bay and docked.
OFF: Sorry, I haven’t post for the last few days, I have been ill.

=/\= Welcome back Robert. The Jefferson would probably be best Commander. But with this kind of battle, just make it to any ship that you can. Vreenak out. =/\=
Having replied to the Navigation officer, he lookd down at his armrest console which was flashing at him. {Captain, I recommend attacking from separate sides of the ship, forming a triangular pattern. I believe if all 3 sections target and destroy the same system, but in 3 different locations, it will take either take the Borg longer to repair the affected system or they will have to use more of their resources to repair it at their usual rate. Thereby giving the away team more unhindered time. Awaiting instructions. Savot out.} Vreenak read the message again, and then forwarded it to Steven Smith, and sent a short message to both of them.
{Affirmative. Engage in 3.} With that, he passed instructions to the helm of each section, and the other two ships, detailing which side to attack from, and the coordinates to attack. With the instructinos received, the five ships started to move around the cube, with the main section of the El Salvador going 'below' the cube, spiralling rapidly away from it. As they moved away, he noticed on the sensor display that Commander Agalacticae had managed to dock in the tertiary section of the El Salvador along with Lieutenant Commander Savot.
As the El Salvador changed direction quickly, spinning to face the cube again, the inertial dampners could be heard groaning slightly with the strain, and then they raced back towards the cube, ready for the attack.

oO A rough ride – seems more like a decent beating Oo Agalacticae thought to himself while he was busy adjusting power and trying to maneuver the shuttle. Just like he feared the Borg decided to go for the shuttle to attempt to get their hands on the data from the planet. Robert’s fingers moved frantically over the navigational controls as he tried to avoid the Borg Cube’s attacks – actually it was more like a maneuvering in between the phaser beams directed at them. Agalacticae started with standard evasive maneuvers but as the Borg adapted with every move the shuttle took they soon had figured out into which direction to point their attack. Every time they were getting close to predicting Robert’s next move he got a reminder to change his course of action – the shuttle shaking by the blast directed at them they experienced an immense power loss forcing Lt. Parker to reroute powers from the replicators to the engines.
Compensating for the power failure and running out of options Agalacticae tried a last maneuver consisting of a small dive followed by a loop after which he engaged the engines to maximal output. Just when he was about to engage the thrusters the only sound that came from the shuttle was a diminishing sound, signaling the failure of the engines, leaving them dead in space. Only moments after the main screen was darkened by the hull of the El Salvador’s tertiary section, offering them to dock – an invitation most welcomed.
With the last power Lt. Parker and Salvali could squeeze from the engines, Robert managed to get the shuttle safely into docking bay. The heavy doors of the docking bay only barely managed to close, before the ship turned starboard and the noise and light of a flashing phaser beam could be experienced through the small cleft back between the doors of the docking bay.
Everyone exited the shuttle as fast as possible as smoke was developing inside it. Coughing and heavily breathing Agalacticae addressed his crew on the way to the bridge.
Agalacticae: “Listen up everyone. Lt. T’San I want you to escort Tal Lyra to safe quarters, while the rest of us will be heading for the bridge to assist Lt. Commander Savot. The Borg now that we are holding the data and will make this section of the El Sal their primary target! We need the best officers available on this vessel and as far as I am concerned – if we won’t make it with you aboard Lt. Salvali and Lt. Parker we won’t make it all! Please take your positions as soon as we arrive on the bridge!”

OFF: Details the docking of the planet mission shuttle with the El-Sal's tertiary section, then comes up to date with Captain Vreenak's post. Nothing new, basically just getting into attack position.
Savot received confirmation of his plan from Captain Vreenak, and the helmsman began to move the tertiary section into place. Suddenly the Ops officer chimed in.
"Sir! I've got Commander Agalacticae's shuttle on sensors. It appears we're the closest ship, but he's having a rough ride. Too many more hits and there won't be an away team to pick up.", the young Lieutenant informed.
Savot looked to the helm, "Helm, take us towards the shuttle in a serpentine pattern. Tactical, moderate power to phasers, target the weapons that are bearing on the shuttle. Try and distract them. We'll need as much time as we can get."
Both stations rushed to comply, phaser fire streaming out from the ship, trying to pose a greater immediate threat than the shuttlecraft. Savot addressed the tactical officer again, "Lt, extend the shields to encompass the shuttle so they can dock without us taking direct fire from the Borg."
Savot tapped out another message on his command console, then transmitted it to the shuttle.
{Commander Agalacticae, this is Lt. Commander Savot on board the tertiary hull. We are preparing to cover your docking attempt. We will extend the shields around your shuttle, then head out of weapons range to allow for a controlled docking. You will however have to manuever just as we manuever, to avoid getting left outside the shields. I will set up a direct link between our helm and yours, so you will know exactly when we move. I trust your pilotting skills are up to the task.}
The female ensign turned to Savot. "Commander, link initiated, shuttle in range."
Savot nodded his understanding. "Tactical, extend the shields, helm begin an evasive retreat." As he finished his orders the ship soared over the shuttlecraft, taking the brunt of a laser hit originally intended for the small craft.
"Commander Savot, the shuttle is adhering to our manuevers, retreating.", the tertiary hull of the El Salvador B rushed away from the battefield, and within seconds was out of weapons range. "Tractoring the shuttle in now sir...... Docking complete. Shuttle is secure."
Savot nodded approvingly and tapped his commbadge, =/\= Excellent pilotting Commander, if you are able, I would appreciate your presence on the bridge. It is your choice whether to assume the helm or to relieve me of command, as you are of higher rank. =/\=
=/\= I'll be right up Mr. Savot =/\= Commander Agalacticae smiled, feeling the relaxation of post-adrenaline rush after being in direct fire from the Borg cube. It was indescribably good to be back on the El Salvador, even a piece of her. He rushed for the turbolift and shot towards the bridge.
"Helm, have we re-entered weapons range yet?", Savot inquired from the command chair.
"Not yet sir, ETA 40 seconds.", Savot acknowledged the helmsman, then tapped out a report of the current events to Captain Vreenak, including the ETA of his arrival back into the battlefield. Just as he concluded his report Commander Agalacticae stepped out of the turbolift.
Savot rose from the command chair...

"I need it now lt.!" Aral hissed through gritted teeth.
She spared a glance at him, "A few moments sir!"
"We arn't going to be ignored for much longer, Henderson, they're going to figure out what we're doing." He leaned against the wall, the rifle raised.
"I'm almost in, sir, just a minute!" she said urgently.
Jordon came into veiw after a moment of loud footsteps. "Lt. Cmdr. Gibson! There's a few borg coming out of their alcoves a little whilst away, and more are joining them in this direction!"
"We better- argh!" Aral jumped up and turned to the wall, the borg beside where he was leaning was getting out of its alcove.
It activated a razor on its arm and made its way toward one of the officers, who used the butt of her rifle to slam its arm aside and jab it in the gut, Aral moved behind it and twisted its neck.
"Use that technique! Groups of 2, one attack another twist!" The words sound grotesque, but they had to develop some sort of defence. "Matthews, and I will protect Henderson. Fire your rifles as a last resort we dont want them to adjust quickly." The borg were approuching fast, and they got into somewhat of a formation.
"I'm in!" Henderson shouted, "I have to find the relevent information now!"
The borg clashed with the officers and the battle began.
Aral reached down to his side and pulled out the sword Strife had given him. Then he noticed the rust running up and down the blade. The blade was worthless. What did Strife do now? He thrust the sword back into its sheath and took out his rifle.
Aral looked and saw a borg taking hold of one of Arals security team. The officers partner was on the floor. He ran towards them and swung the rifle at the borg and twisting its neck. He picked up the fallen officer and brought him back toward Henderson with him, suddenly he felt something peirce his leg. He twisted to see a sharp spike protruding from his upper leg. The borg on the floor beside him was moving his arm. He yelled in pain and dropped the young officer next to him. He stood up again and pulled the officer to his feet and he tried best he could to bring them both toward Henderson.
"Henderson!" Aral staggered over the lt. who held a pad in her hand, and sat the officer against the wall.
"I've found it, i'm downloading it now!" she cried. "I've got it!"
Aral tapped his combadge, "Gibson to any ship, "Beam us out!"

>Aral tapped his combadge, "Gibson to any ship, "Beam us out!"
Hears Aral's hail over his combadge.
"Transporter lock on the Away team's location on the Borg vessel and beam the over immediately. You're only going to have a few seconds to beam them over. On my mark beam them aboard." T'Ale says.
"Aye sir." The Lt. in the transporter room says.
"Lt." T'Ale says to the Ops officer." Lower shields for a few seconds then bring them back online in multible frequency on my mark. Helm - keep with the evasive manuevers."
"Aye sir." They both say.
"On my mark - Lower shields. Transporter beam them over now."
"Aye sir."
Transporter beams lock on the Away Team and beams them to the Transporter room.
Just as they are beamed over the shields are re-established and the ship fires on the Borg vessel with a rephased phasers.

OCC: Sorry people for not posting. I had some serious studying to do, but now I’m back and I’m ready to do my job.
Mike was at his station just waiting for the probe to be ready so he could launch it. Time was precious and the Borg were hitting them hard. As soon as he heard that the away team was on board the cube he addressed Cmdr. T’Ale: “Sir, just to remind you that it will take a few minutes until the probe destroys the cube, if it gets to it. We need to initiate it as soon as possible.” “Noted. We will deploy it as soon as the team beams back. It would be unreasonable to begin destroying the cube while our people are still on it.” Mike nodded as his commbadge sounded. =/\= Tomora to Lt. Pasek. =/\= =/\= Pasek here. =/\= =/\= Sir the probe is ready for launch. =/\= =/\= Excellent. Now get to the bridge, we need all the help we can get. Pasek out. =/\= “Cmdr., the probe is ready.” “Good. Make the necessary preparations and coordinate the action with tactical.” Mike made a few steps to tactical and addressed the crewman standing at it. “I will need a hole in their shields for a second or two to get the probe in. Could you target that weak spot in the aft shields so I can get inside.” “Well we’ll have to be in position for that shot but I think I can manage it.” “Excellent! Commander,”, Mike said addressing T’Ale again, “when the probe passes the shields the ships will have to distract Borg’s attention long enough for the probe to do it’s job. The probability for success would be bigger if all three ships were to hit the cube hard simultaneously.” “We’ll do all we can, Mr. Pasek.”, said T’Ale. Minutes seemed like hours to Mike while he awaited the return of the team. He even begun doubting his plan. What if it doesn’t work? Not only will he disappoint his crew, they’ll be in some big trouble trying to get rid of the cube. Even though he had a lot to do, since the ship was under constant attack by the cube, he couldn’t keep his mind away from those disturbing thoughts. After a few minutes the operations officer reported to T’Ale: “Sir, the away team is back.” “Good. Mister Pasek, you are clear to initiate your plan.” “Aye, Cmdr.”, said Mike and addressed the tactical officer, “Are we ready?” The tactical officer worked with the helm to get an appropriate approach for the shot while Mike launched the probe. Maybe it would look less suspicious if it flew around for a while instead of going straight from the Jefferson to the cube. It could look like a piece of technology going out of control. The Jefferson made a right turn and the cube was now in front of it. The set course took the Jefferson next to the cube and the probe was on a course directly towards it. Tactical opened fire and, luckily, the cube’s shields fell for a second in the aft section. Mike put the probe into fast forward and it managed to enter just in the nick of time. A Borg phasor shot almost hit it in the process of firing at the Jefferson, but luckily neither the probe nor the Jefferson were hit. “I’m in, Cmdr.”, said Mike preparing to guide the probe through the landing procedure and activation. “Take us away.”, said T’Ale and the Jefferson flew away leaving the cube of its port side. Mike took the remote control of the probe and landed it on the cube. He activated the docking clamps and activated the oscillator. “The probe is activated.”, said Mike very happy, “Estimated time to cube destruction: 7 minutes.” He continued monitoring the data coming from the probe and the cube’s structural integrity. He waited and waited, not knowing exactly how long it will take the probe to start effecting the cube. Three minutes into the probe’s activation the cube’s structural integrity started falling. Mike was overwhelmed with joy. “Sir, cube’s structural integrity is at 90 %. It’s working!”, he said and continued monitoring the data. The integrity continued dropping, 87%, 85%, 83%, 80%, but as it dropped below 75% things started going down hill. The Borg realized what was going on and initiated a countermeasure. “Cmdr., the Borg are rerouting extra power to the structural integrity field. It’ll take a bit longer for the probe to destroy it.” “Understood. Can you increase the power of the oscillations?” Mike did exactly what the cmdr. proposed but the results weren’t very good: “I increased it but it won’t be enough. At this point I can’t even guarantee destruction, only that I can lower the structural integrity to 15 %. That is as much as I can muster.”, Mike said somewhat disappointed with himself.

Commander Agalacticae was storming to the bridge in close pursuit by both Lt. Salvali and Lt. Parker. Robert had never experienced a Prometheus vessel in multi-vector mode and was amazed by the technical finesse it must have required to construct a ship like this. Entering the bridge Lt. Commander Savot rose from the command chair looking curiously into Commander Agalacticae’s direction. Robert knew what that look was about as he now was the highest ranking officer present. Reviewing the situation in an instant Agalacticae only nodded into Savot’s direction with a smile.
Agalacticae: “Proceed Lt. Cmdr. Savot. Requesting permission to take the Helm”
Savot: “Permission granted, Commander”
Only seconds after their brief conversation Savot was busy again directing all stations like a conductor in a symphony, with one important difference - Savot stayed calm. Robert felt that keeping Savot in charge was the best thing to do, as he just had returned from the planet unable to follow the recent events in orbit and there certainly was no time for a briefing on battle strategies while in combat. Experiencing the effectiveness on the bridge Agalacticae was confident that he had made the right decision.
As soon as Robert had taken the Helm he took the vessel into an extensive evasive maneuver as the Borg Cube tried to focus their attack on them. Piloting the third section of the El Salvador was a pleasure in itself, as it was designed for combat. The immense maneuverability of a vessel of that size would make any pilot’s heart jump with joy. Taking a look at the main screen Robert wasn’t sure though that this was why his heart was jumping – the Borg cube grew bigger on the screen leaving no doubt that it was trying to close on them.
Taking a sharp turn followed by a half rotation diving below the Jefferson Robert saw a small probe leaving the Jefferson heading for the Borg Cube. Wondering was their plan was he waited for orders from Lt. Cmdr. Savot.

Magellan glared at the readouts he was reciving from the fleet. The Ironduke was crippled, the Victory had taken a hammering, her shields were down to only 6% and she venting plasma heavily. To the port side the three sections of the El Salvador flitted about, distracting and harrying the cube but with every minute they too were getting hit more and more. The most intact vessel was the Jefferson, the sovereign class vessel was still close to the Borg cube and that closeness meant that the borg were having difficulty bringing their weapons to bear on the ship. The bridge shuddered as an explosion tore through the hull several decks down. Then a soft whine filled the air and three borg appeared on the bridge. Magellan reached beneath his console to grab a phaser. T'Ale had already tackled the first of them, she grabbed its mechanical arm and with her vulcan strength was able to keep its tubules away from herself. The Ops officer was quickly at her side pulling out wires and connectors from the side of the borgs head. The second drone had alreadysunk its tubules in to the science officer who squirmed as his face turned an ashen grey. Magellan stood and aimed his phaser, the blast struck and killed the borg but left him open to the third borg, he tried to bring the weapon round but found it blocked by a grasping claw. A second arm came up grabbing his phaser and crushing it. Magellan scrabbled to break free but was quickly over powered, in his weakened state he was even less of a match, he could feel his symbionts sense of panic and terror rising, it fought with his consciousness, trying to break through, break his control and take over all his functions depite the fact that even with Lin in control Magellan was gone. The borg grabbed the admiral by the collar hoisting him up to eye level, teh blinking red tracer light shone directly in to Magellans own which he closed and prepared for the searing pain of the tubules as they pierced his skin, the tiny nano machines making a mockery of his body and his whole life and career in starfleet. There was a loud zzzap and a sizzle followed by the stench of ozone, Magellan opened his eyes to see the borg collapse at his feet. "You save my life I save yours" Strife grinned by teh conn a lowered phaser in her hand. "ACK Thankyou" Magellan coughed straightening his uniform and glancing around the bridge. Everyone else apart from teh science officer and a repair crewman were okay. T' Ale was already back in full flow. "Tactical full phaser spread zero elevation. Cavit, get back at the helm, plot a circular route about the cube then lay in a course away from the cube so that we can bring our torpedos to bear." Cavit nodded and took her seat. "I ve got reports of borg on all decks but they are contained and I ve remodulated our shields" the ops officer announced. "The away team reports they are aboard and getting the device to sickbay for the Commodore. I m requesting a download from teh El Salvador to get the software." "Very good" Magellan replied " As soon as we have it all in one place get to work on Loskene." Magellan slumped into his seat, he could feel Lins hold on him relinquish slightly as the symbiont realised the current danger had relented. Magellan mused that it would all be well and good saving Loskene but they were still locked in a combat with the borg. he looked down at the latest figures from teh El Sal and saw that the integrity of the cube had fallen to 15%, it was an amazing feat of engineering but he realised only too well that it wasnt enough. They were still all doomed to die, barring a miracle, this was it.

The Borg started appearing all over the bridge. Mike pulled out his phasor and aimed it at the drone that went for Cmdr. T’Ale, but it seems that this is not going to be his day. Mike missed but luckily the Ops officer helping the commander in time. Things continued going down hill fast for Mike as he felt a sting and a sharp, cold pain in hi neck. A drone came from behind him and stuck his assimilation tubes in his neck. The last thing he saw was Admiral Magellan firing and killing the drone. Mike fell to the floor and with his last atoms of strength he tapped his combadge and whispered: “Pasek….. Medical… emergency….” After those words Mike passed out. The medical team got to the bridge in a few seconds and took both Mike and the injured crewman to sickbay where the doctor started the procedure to remove the nanoprobes. Mike was completely unaware that he was in sickbay but his worst nightmare was coming true. In his head he started hearing the voice of the Borg: “YOU’RE ARE NOW BORG. YOUR DESIGNATION IS 3 OF 12. YOU WILL SERVE OUR CAUSE.” “No, no… must resist…” “RESISTANCE IS FUTILE. YOU ARE NOW BORG. YOUR DESIGNATION IS 3 OF 12. COMPLY.” “No, no…”, Mike tried to resist but as moments passed he felt more and more a part of the Borg. He started hearing more and more info, other drones designations, location of cubes, engineering specs etc. The doctors tried their best to cure him. The sickbay became very busy, with the crewman and Mike being worked on. They could see Mike sweating and twisting and turning but they didn’t exactly now how bad was it. Suddenly he just whispered: “6237….” It was a miracle enough for him to be moving at all and whispering was very surprising. But after that number Mike suddenly got very still and just lay there. The next moment a spider-star shaped mechanical device appeared on the left side of Mike’s neck, just below the jaw.

As the tertiary hull of the El Salvador danced and dodged around the cube, harrowing it as often as possible with every weapon they could throw, Lt. Savali at Ops spun around to face Savot.
"Sir, I'm getting a request from the Jefferson. They've got the away team aboard with the device to heal Commodore Loskene. They need the data from Commander Agalacticae's team to run it."
Savot addressed Lt's Parker and Savali, "Prepare to transmit your data. Use the most recent Starfleet encryption code listed." He turned to face the Navigator, "Commander Agalacticae, bring us as close to the Jefferson as you can. I wish to keep the transmission duration as short as possible to avoid interception by the Borg."
"Understood", came the reply from the Commander as their section of El Salvador B rushed towards the Jefferson. Suddenly a diagram of the tertiary hull's transmitter popped up on his screen, showing him which part of the hull to point towards the Jefferson. Robert grinned, 'Leave it to Savot to count every single meter.' As Lt. Parker and Lt. Savali signalled their readiness to transmit, he dove under the Jefferson, throwing the ship into a barrel roll to bring the transmitter as close as possible to the Sovereign class vessel.
"Data transmitted sir. Jefferson confirms receiving. They're working on the Commodore as we speak.", came the triumphant report from the young Lieutenants.
"Excellent work, all of you. Helm, bring us back into position for the triangular attack pattern. The away team is off the cube, but it remains an effective strategy. Signal our status to the primary and secondary hulls.", before he could say anything else the science officer yelled out in horror.
"Sir! I'm reading several Borg lifesigns onboard the Jefferson! They're all over the place, some were even on the bridge.", the young ensign sounded terrified.
"Control yourself Ensign. The Jefferson is manned by trained Starfleet personnel, they will do their duty. The best course of action for us to take is to work to destroy the cube. Inform Captain Vreenak and Commander Smith of the situation. Inform them we are continuing attack patterns until instructed otherwise.", Savot's calm assurance seemed to quell the science officer's fear for the moment as Lt. Savali signalled the other sections of the El Salvador B, and they continued their game of cat and mouse with the cube.

"Computer read, and perform all the tasks in this PADD!" Aral shoved the PADD into a opening in the side of the specialized replicator.
A science officer named Tomora was assisting Aral in the hurried frenzy to help the captain.
The replicator buzzed and made strange sounds, things kept appearing and dissapearing in the opening, A good sign... hopefully.
"Lt. Cmdr." Tomora called his attention. "We're receiving the data Cmdr. Agalacticae, Lt. Savali, and Lt. Parker collected on the planet!"
"Transfer it into the PADD. The replicator will take it."
"Yes, sir."
A nurse finally convinced Aral sit down to treat his leg as Tomora performed the task. Suddenly he retched as he spotted Pasek, borg implants beginning to sprout up on his face and arms. Aral pulled himself off the bed, and looked at Mike.
"Good god." he whispered. He turned away, he couldn't look anymore and he couldn't do anything but hope the nurses knew what to do.
"Sir! Its ready." The ship shook as she said this.
Aral went over to her, a large device about the double the size of a basketball had appeared in the replicator. It was green and grey, Borg-like colors, and was partly hallowed out with a opening on the side.
Tomora and Aral picked up the device and made their way over to commodore Loskene, who, even in his 8472 form, looked extremely pained.
The doctor broke off from what he was doing to assist. They slipped the object under the commodore's head.
Tomora consulted the onsole with the huge database of information on the object and then activated it.
Borg tubulars inserted from the object into Loskenes head, and his face contorted. Aral watched in pain as the commodore's face changed expression every few moments. Suddenly it all stopped and he lay still.
The doctor scanned him, "Its still working. I don't know how long this will take, or exactly what its doing."
Aral sighed, as the ship shook again, the lights flickered but still the object didn't alter its actions. He glanced at Mike, and clenched his fists.
"God damn the borg." But at the same time he wondered what the hell the commodore would have done without them.... but than again no one knew if this worked.

She got into sick bayand found Gibson standing in front of Dr Tmara with her sword and it pulsed again ... she under stood gibson hafd feeling for her... the sword was pulsing
suddenly the rusted sword turned into a large fanged sword the handle was still beat up but the blade grew in with and length
Tetsusaiga transformed ... only love could make it do that gibson took one swipe ... and all 20 borg where oblidgrated in one swing

Mike didn’t feel anything. He didn’t know that Borg implants started popping up all over his body, didn’t know what the doctors were doing or that Lt. Cmdr. Gibson watched him, feeling furious at the Borg for doing this to his crewmate and, somehow he felt, his friend. Mike wasn’t aware of any of that, the only thing he knew was that he was still alive and that he could hear the voice of the Borg in his head. The strange thing was that he still had his memories and feelings. The Borg didn’t erase it yet, he thought. But the feeling of all those drones, voices and information was so overwhelming that he couldn’t believe his own thoughts. Simultaneously, he could see a nebula that was being explored in the gamma quadrant and a binary pulsar in the alpha quadrant. He could feel the console that one of the drones was working on and touching on one of the cubes and the pain of the drone that was being shot by a Klingon on a vessel near Qo’nos. He could find answers to any question but the strange thing was that the answers came so quickly that they were there instantly after he asked the question so it seemed like he knew them his whole life, like they were common knowledge to him. He felt like he had thousands of eyes, ears, noses and hands all over the galaxy and yet only one mind. He could travel thousands of light-years merely by thinking about it and wishing it. He felt like he was a god. He could also see the shield frequencies of every cube, the schematics of every transporter, the specs of every weapon and phasor bank. Even though he wasn’t completely assimilated he felt what it meant to be a Borg.
OCC: This is a short post and it brings nothing important, but I just had inspiration. ;D Somewhat artistic, don't you think...

The Jefferson had retreated out of the battle for the moment, preferring to remain steady and relatively safe during the operation of Commodore Loskene. The loss was major, and swift. That ship had been distracting the Borg Cube, which had been attempting to hit the ship which was moving fast and close to the cube. With all the remaining ship taking heavy damage, including the Iron Duke, which had been disabled only minutes after joining the battle, and was floating slowly away from the cube, it's phasers lashing out from it's maximum range. The three sections of the El Salvador were for the most part undamaged, their speed and manoeuverability resulting in most hits only glancing off the shields. Vreenak frowned at the cube.
"What is your achilles heel? What is it?" He thought out loud as the three sections came in and out at the cube again, causing little damage, but taking some in return. He thought of the Jefferson, and then sent an order out to the other two sections.
{Move in close to the cube, moving around quickly. Provide constant fire over the cube, and lets try to simply cut the hull away. Within their shields it will directly harm the ship, and their weapons will have difficulty damaging us.}
The tactic was not original, having been used by the Maquis for years, but Vreenak didn't care, so long as it worked. The less deft Victory would not be able to emulate the move, and it would take a heavy beating with the new tactic. With the shields already low, and the ship all but out of the battle, Vreenak sent a short order for it to stand down, but almost instanteously the reply came back from Jeff Walker, as the Nebula class vessel shot past the cube, it's phasers whipping at the large borg ship. Smiling in spite of himself, Vreenak watched as more of the cube was cut away, drones pouring out of the gap left. Surely the battle was theirs now...

"Please inform the bridge in any changes to either of them, doctor." Aral asked.
The doctor nodded silently turning to assist the nurses with Mike and the others that were injured.
Aral took one last glance at Mike and the commodore before walking briskly out of the room. ******************************************** "Mind catching me up to speed, Commander." Aral said, relieving the current officer on bridge duty.
"The device Pasek designed weakened the ship considerably, but not enough for us to take them out, when we backed out of the battle we left a bad situation." T'ale replied as she tapped on the console beside her.
"Are we going back in?" he asked.
Magellen turned around, "Depends, hows Loskene?"
"The information the mission to the planet and the mision to the cube aquired was correct as far as we can tell. The device we created is still working, but we don't know what its doing, borg technology is advanced. So far there is no change in the commodore that we can detect."
"Your call Commander T'ale." Magellen said, looking at her.
She paused for several moments, "Lets go."
As Strife pulled them back into the fight, Aral commented, "Doesn't look like they need us."
The borg cube was in bad shape, the out layer of it was mostly blown up, "One of those modified torpedo's in just the right spot......"

Agalacticae was piloting the gamma section of the El Salvador around the Cube, giving them the opportunity to hit them every now and then, destabilizing it further. The El Sal’s sections were like a swarm of mosquitoes buzzing around the Borg. The battle seemed to turn in favor of the federation starships but with the other vessels so badly damaged it wasn’t sure whether they all would make it. And even loosing only one of our ships would be a prize too high.
Reviewing the tremendous work by Michael Pasek on the device he had sent to the cube Robert turned to Savot.
Agalacticae: “Savot, can we find out which frequency the device constructed by Mr. Pasek is emitting?”
Savot looked somewhat bewildered at the Commander at the Helm as this hardly was the time to satisfy one’s curiosity. Nonetheless Savot granted the request and nodded into Salvali’s direction.
Salvali: “It’s 5578 Herz, Commander”
Agalacticae started smiling, posing another request to Savot.
Agalacticae: “As we have the gamma section of the El Salvador we also have the main navigational deflector dish, right?”
The question of course was only a rhetorical one as Savot suddenly understood the Commander’s requests.
Savot: “Bridge to Engineering. Lt. Parker, can you synchronize the navigational deflector output to a single frequency?”
Samantha: “Should only take a few seconds, sir!”
Savot: “Commander Agalacticae, break formation and move away form the cube and prepare on a long run directly heading for the cube”
Robert had already broken formation some time before Savot’s order and transmitted their plan to the other ships. Waiting for Lt. Parker’s mark, Savot gave orders to turn around.
Agalacticae: “With pleasure”
Agalacticae turned around the vessel heading directly to the center of the Cube.
Savot: “Maximize navigational deflector output at 5578 Herz”
Nothing seemed to happen, the deflector beam being invisible. Still flying directly towards the Cube, the small particles emitted by the navigation deflectors hit the Cube tirelessly.
Closing on their target, the Borg Cube started to direct its attacks towards them, shaking the gamma section of the El Sal heavily.
Savot: “Shield status?”
Salvali: “Shields at 56%”
Savot: “Cube integrity?” Salvali: “Unchanged – it does not seem to affect them”
Time had come for a tough decision. They knew that the frequency was right and that it had to work – it was only a matter of time. Time they did not have with their shields integrity deteriorating. Just in a game of poker with two opponents facing each other bluffing – who would have the stomach to keep going. It was a all or nothing call.
Savot looked into Agalacticae’s direction. As their eyes met they determination in the two officer’s hearts seem to reinforce itself, both being willing to “play their hand” to the bitter end – at least to safe the rest of the ships.
Savot: “Keep our heading, increase speed by ¼”
As they started to move faster towards the Cube, the rest of the ships tried to distract the Cube as much as possible, apparently without great effect. With no opportunity to do evasive maneuvers, on order to keep the navigational deflector beam focused on the cube, they were an easy target and yet another blast shook the ship.
Salvali: “Shields down to 38%”
Savot: “Steady. Lt. Parker, try to increase deflector output as much as you can!”
Lt. Parker worked intensely at her console, unable to tell them whether she actually managed to increase the output or not.
Salvali: “Their Cube’s integrity is falling, Commander”
The excitement and relief in Salvali’s voice gave new comfort to the whole crew, still making it a matter of time, which of the two vessels would break apart first.
Savot: “Hold on to something”
Once again the ship shook and reports about damaged decks arrived to the bridge, when the Borg Cube’s integrity reached its critical point and stood still for a moment.
“What’s happening?” an ensign asked in a mixture of panic and excitement.
Before anyone could answer the Borg Cube lost the rest of its integrity and split into pieces, scattering into every direction.

Steven recieved the message from the Captain to move in close the Cube.
His section of the El Sal moved in close and began pounding away at the Cube. Virtually all of the short scored direct hits.
The Borg fired back, and hit Steve's section. Panels exploded and went flying on the Bridge. Steve looked around, but everyone was ok, and still on their feet.
With every phaser blast that Steve's section made, more of the Borg Cube was crumbling away. Surely it would be long before it was destroyed.
Steven was not prepared to let up. He was determined to win this battle.

--Sickbay Victory-C-- After beeing installed on the Victory Sam and Julliet were doing the final touches on the anti-borg weapons. "So that was it." Sam said and rubbed his head "Headack again?" Julliet asked and moved behind Sam and began massaging him. "Yes, a headsplitting one this time." Sam replied and injeceted a potion in him. "Oh please don't stop." "I don't want to bother you, but you need to go to Magellan to show him the data." Julliet said "Oh yeah I go directly." sam said and stood-up. "I'll be back asap."
--Capt. ready room-- The door rang. "Enter." Magellan said "Sir, here are the results of our study." Sam said and handed over a padd. "Very good." Magellan said while he read the padd. "Sir any new orders for us?" Sam asked
OFF: tag Magellan, please tell me what I can do.

Mike started coming around. He opened his eyes and saw the doctor standing over him. “How are you feeling? Can you remember your name?” Mike was overwhelmed with happiness. He wasn’t assimilated, he wasn’t a part of the Borg and he was still his old self. Being so happy he felt he needed a good joke. That’s the one thing that made him who he is and one thing that will always make him completely different from the Borg. He just looked at the doctor, smiled and answered the question: “My designation is 3 of 12.” The doctor looked at him totally petrified and Mike just started laughing like mad. The doc looked him somewhat angry: “You should know better than that. What if some patient heard you, he or she would be scared and believe you me that is not good for recovery.” These words stuck Mike like lightning. What about the cube and the whole battle? He started getting up wanting to get to the bridge but as he tried to stand on his feet he just tripped and almost fell. It was a good thing that the doctor didn’t go far away so he caught him. “What the hell were you thinking!? You were almost assimilated and now you want to go somewhere?” “I need to speak to Cmdr. T’Ale.”, Mike said trying to get to his feet, “It is an emergency… The comm system! Where’s my combadge?” “Take it easy.”, said the doc tapping his commbadge. =/\= Sickbay to the bridge. =/\= =/\= T’Ale here. =/\= Mike didn’t want to wait for the doctor to explain the situation instead he just yelled so T’Ale could hear him. =/\= Cmdr., I found out what's the shield frequency of the cube. It’s 6237. We can easily destroy…. =/\= =/\= Take it easy Mr. Pasek. The cube is destroyed, you do not need to worry. I suggest you let the doctor take care of you, we will inform you about all that has happened when you get out of sickbay. T’Ale out. =/\= Mike was relieved that the ship was safe even though his invention didn’t do its job well enough. As he sat back on the bio bed he glanced across sickbay and saw Comm. Loskene lying on a bio bed on the far side of the room. “How is the Comm.?”, he asked clearly worried. “Actually, we don’t know.”, said the doc, “The device is doing something to him but we can’t tell is it making any difference.” Sadness could be seen clearly on Mike’s face. He somehow felt that it was his fault, even though he knew he couldn’t change anything or help him in any way. He just lay back on the bed thinking about all the bad things that the Borg caused on this ship. “I don’t want you to worry.”, the doc tried to reassure him, “I won’t let anything happen to him.” “I’m glad. And what about me?” “Well, we managed to remove all the implants except one. I don’t know why but the nanoprobes made and implant that was connected to the optical nerve in your left eye in such a way that if we removed it you would lose 75% of sight in that eye. Since it doesn’t do you any harm, we left it there.” “Thank you doctor.” “I’ll fill out a report.”, said the doc and went on his way. Mike stayed there, just lying on the bed staring at the ceiling, thinking about everything that happened.

The corners of Aral's mouth looked like they were touching his ears as he heard Mike's voice over the Com., full of his usual energy.
Aral though he saw a miniscule grin on T'ale's calm face as she convinced Mike that everything was all right.
His console brought him back to reality yet the smile was still present on his face, "Hail coming in from the Victory... and Captain Vreenak as well."
Magellan quickly replied, "Conference mo- sorry, Your job Commander." He grinned.
"That’s fine, Admiral, continue Mr. Gibson."
The view screen was split into two parts, with the officers in them (with the exception of Vreenak of course, who simply decreased the arching of his eyebrows ever so slightly) despite the scenes of needed repairs surrounding them.
"Congratulations." T’Ale said.
"Thank you commander," Vreenak nodded, "Mr. Agalacticae decided the best way to take advantage of your Science officers device."
"Very brilliant, indeed...," Riker said, "Admiral, when will you be returning?"
Magellan smiled, "I will contact you when I am ready to beam aboard, Commander."
"Yes, sir.... And how is the commodore?"
Vreenak asked, "Was any of the information the missions acquired useful?"
"The device we created seems to be doing something, we just don't know what, since we can't do anything else to help him, its the best we've got." Aral commented even though he really didn't have the seniority to do so.
T’Ale nodded, "We should make the final decisions about the planet, as in what they're going to do."
"We should send a transmission to Starfleet, the new techniques, equipment, weapons, and personnel defense discoveries should useful." Magellan said.
"Although we should deal with the planet first." Vreenak said bluntly.
Magellan grinned, "Of course."

The strange chamber, which looked like a bathtub placed vertically, emitted a soft green glow. The doctor wore a visor to protect his eyes from the radiation.
T'Ale walked into sickbay and the doctor approached her.
Doctor: Sorry, you can't come in unless you wear these.
T'Ale put the visor on and followed the doctor into the next room.
T'Ale: What is his status.
Doctor: I'm not seeing any improvement...
T'Ale: But surely...
Doctor: It could just take a while, he is not yet out of the coma.
T'Ale: You are probably right.
Doctor: Hm. Borg technology. It is wonderful...if not evil.
A monitor began to beep and the doctor rushed toward it.
T'Ale: What is it doctor?
Doctor: I'm reading activity in his frontal lobe. He is coming out of the coma... Now to see if it has worked.
The Doctor activated a console and it began to scan Loskene's body...
Doctor: I'm picking up a 5% increase in cell activity. It appears to be working...although slowly.
T'Ale: Good to hear. Once the commodore is better, we should destroy the chamber.
Doctor: What? Why?!
T'Ale: The Borg could track the device here...
Doctor: Maybe Mr. Pasek could do something to inhibit the Borg trying to find it...
Color began to return to Loskene's skin.
Doctor: He still needs time... A few days at most...
T'Ale: Understood. I'll be on the bridge.

------After the destruction of the cube-----
After the cube has been destroyed Felix could feel relifed as was everyone else on the bridge , everyone was feeling relifed, well thank god we took out that cube he thought to himself , i never liked the borg but now i dont like them even more.
The systems of this part of the El Sal took alot of beeting as the other ships of the fleet have also , it iwll take some tome to repair the damage he thought. While he was thinking about it he heard Savot call out :
"Stand down red alert"
He felt so glad when he heard these words , it meant that finally the battle was over and there were no more borg ships in the vicinity. He took a look at the damage reports comming in from all decks , there was alot of damage to the shields , propolsion system to the weapons systems , main deflector took some beeting also.
Shortly after a hail came thru:
"Capt. Vreenak to all parts of the El Sal prepare for docking."
"Aye sir", Savot said
"Cmdr. Aglaticae prepare for docking sequence"
"Preparing for docking sequence."
And after a few moments the ship shook from the bump of the docking sequence and the El Sal was back in one pice again.
After the docking was complete Felix went to Savot and said:
"Permission to beam over to the Victory"
"Permission granted lt."
And he went off the bridge to the transporter room , transporter room 3 he said to the turbolift. And after a few moments the lift came to a stop. And he went out of it and walked towards the transporter room 3 . While passing the deck towards the transporter room he could see damged conduits , consoles flashing , bulkheads damaged.
Shortly after he arrived to the transporter room. There he found lt. T'San and Duchek awaiting to beem off back to the Vic.
"Beem us over to the Victory chief."
"Yes sir."
And he stood on the transporter pad.
"Energizeezing."
And he could see the transporter room of the El Sal slowly disappearing and the familiar transporter room of the Victory appearing.
--------On the Vic transporter room 2-----------
"Welcome back sirs ": the ensign operating the tranposrter said.
Felix:"Thank you ensign."
He said as the walked out of the transporter room. Felix went left towards the turbolift to get to the bridge and they went to the armory to leavethe weapons there.
After a few moments the turbolift finally stoped on the bridge , and once he entered everyone turned to see who it is when they saw it was him they resumed their current duties.
He approached the officer sitting at the ops station and took it over , once he did he started examining the systems and checking damage reports which were comming in, and forwarding them to proper personel which were in charge of repairs.
