Awake, or maybe not...
Strings of dreams and thoughts slip by, but nothing seems to stick in the mind...
Slowly things appear more sharply and a more steady image forms.
Captain Vassiliou stands firm on the bridge, with a huge plasma gun in his hand. He is flanked by several officers.
Jabez tries to stand up and after a few attempts he succeeds. What, who, why...Jabez can't remember..
The bridge looks like a complete chaos and there are all sorts of systems he can't recognize.
"That'll show them. We are invincible. Kill all the survivors; leave no witnesses", Captain Vassiliou ordered.
Jabez turns to the viewscreen and sees a vessel, but can't make out the configuration. As he tries to remember anything about the vessel a plasma burst appears on the screen, destroying the vessel completely.
Vassiliou turns to Jabez and looks at him in an inquisitive way.
"The shock was to great for you crewman?"
A Crewman, is that what I am Jabez pondered. He completely forgot to respond to the Captain.
"Bring him to the medunit. If Med 1 can't patch him up, we have meat for dinner", the Captain laughed.
OOC: Let's try a Alternative Universe Mission. What has happened? Do we still exist in normal space? How did we or part of the crew end up here? Your imagination is the limit!

--- Ok, I know I've gone, but I just couldn't resist. Feel free to delete this post if you want. ---
Q2 smashed a few targets with his blaster, disintegrating the women that had not been killed in the recent battle that the USS Devastator had won. He turned and walked to the office adjacent to the shooting range, his own. He tapped his commbadge, a antique Starfleet design with a plaser across it.
=/\= Commander Lla, bring me a cask of Romulan Ale. And open a comm link to the Olympia, we'll check on Vassiliou's progress. =/\=
An affirmative response came over the comm, and a few minutes later, the Commander came into the room with the requested cask, which he smashed down onto the table. He then manipulated the controls on the computer before Q2, and opened a comm to the Olympia. Captain Vassiliou appeared on the small screen, blood on his uniform.
"Vassiliou. What glorious news do you have for me?"
The Captain nodded in deference to Q2.
"Vice Admiral Q2, a pleasure to he..."
Q2 cut him off brusquely.
"Cut to the chase, how was your battle?"
"A glorious and brutal battle. The survivors were all killed, no witnesses. They know we shall never lose."
"Great! They will be destroyed." And he closed the comm channel.
Vice Admiral Q2 marched to the bridge of his Sovereign class refit, and ordered a course change.
"To the closest enemy. We will continue this!"

Down in sickbay, or what Jabez presumed must pass for sickbay around here, there was no sign of Max Sulla. Not even Daya Kheen, the old doctor. In fact, there were very few staff at all, just two nurses and an EMH.
"Xenexian hearing...slightly better...more sensitive than humans," Jabez managed to say, "plasma explosion gave me a headache...just need some rest."
"Alright, go to your quarters and get some sleep, be back on duty in the morning crewman."
Jabez got half-way to his quarters when he realised his quarters would be in a different place. He had no idea what was going on, how he had got here, or even where here was, but he had established that he was now a crewman. And crewmen didn't have first officer's quarters. Jabez therefore checked noone was around before calling up a display on a panel and finding his quarters assignment. They were a lot further from the bridge than the first officer's, and would take a few minutes to get to from where he was.
Ten minutes later Jabez finally made it to his quarters. It didn't help that the ship design was significantly different from that which he was used to. This design seemed far more geared towards combat than anything else, and come his morning shift he dreaded the sight of engineering, no doubt as neglected as sickbay.
For now, he had no intention of sleeping as the doctor had suggested. He felt fine, but confused, and that was what required attention. The obvious answer was that he had been transported into an alternate universe where he was a crewman and Spiro was the captain. They were at war with someone, and tactically more advanced than Jabez was used to, but other than that, pretty much everything was a mystery to him. The questions that now faced the ex-commander were how did he get here, and could he get back.
According to the information he had managed to pull up, the Federation were at war with a Romulan-Klingon alliance force. This was clearly not the mirror universe, of so many tales. The Federation was very much in tact, and winning the war by some way. The Cardassians on the other hand were nowhere to be found.
After several hours of studying enough information to bluff his way through, and trying to figure out how he had got here, Jabez decided sleep would be the prudent option. He was expected in engineering early the next morning, and would most likely have to figure out a whole new setup.

As Soto opened his eyes, he found himself to be a passenger on board a small transportvessel.
The ship's pilot shortly looked at him but didn't say a word. Soto, still somewhat dizzy from the experience, was confused but couldn't set himself to asking questions.
The ship halted. A few seconds passed, before space in front of them started to wave. It made Soto feel even more sick to his stomach. The only words that came to his mind were: "We're not in Kansas anymore".
Slowly the shape of a gigantic starship appeared. It was a perfect crossover between a Warbird and an old Klingon D-7, but it was clearly more heavily armed than both designs put together. Heck even a squadron of both types, wouldn't even match the weaponsarsenal Soto saw in front of him.
The small transport set course for the ship's bow, which opened up to let the ship in. A few minutes later the ship was docked inside.
The hatch opened up and guards came walking in.
"Please Commodore, follow us quickly"
Soto, still half sedated, made his way out the transport, not quite unlike a drunk man would.
The guards escorted Soto to the ship's War-Room.
As the doors opened a massive room made itself visible. On the opposite side of the room a chair was faced towards the wall, which was a gigantic starmap.
"Please enter Commodore, our time here is limited", a voice said from the chair.

My head was spinning as I awoke from my deep sleep. I remembered nothing. I looked around as my vision started to return. I was in a small room about 6 by 6 foot. There was a single light hanging from the ceiling. I waited for what seemed like 40 minutes when the door opened and a guard walked in. "Where am I?" I asked. "There will be time fo that later. Please come with me." I walked ahead of the guard not really knowing where I was going. Everytime I made a mistake the guard poked me with his weapon. "How am I supposed to know where I am going buddy? I don't even know where I am." I said angrily. "Just keep walking you will eventually get there." OOC - I hope this is what i was suposed to post cause im a bit confused about this one

Once Soto had made it into the large chamber, nothing was said, as if we were waiting for another player.
Some thirty seconds past, before the same door that Soto came through opened again. To his surprise Trust No-One stood in the door-opening.
The clearly agitated ensign walked in. His face cleared up something as he saw a familiar face.
"Commodore, what's happening here?", the ensign asked.
Soto lifted his shoulders. "Guess we're about to find out."
Together they made way for the character sitting in the chair opposite of them.
Once they were in a few meters from the chair, it swirled dramaticaly to reveal the person in it. To Soto's surprise it revealed the face of Romulan Ambassador Relak.
In their own timeline Soto knew the Ambassador only from intelligence reports. He was one of the old hardliners within the Romulan Empire. He headed a militaristic faction who strongly opposed any societal and political ties with other species.
"I can see your surprised face, commodore Soto, but I'm not quite the one you know as me."
In an attempt to quickly regain himself, Soto asked:"Why have you brought us here Relak?"

The Romulan pushed on a few buttons on his chair and the room darkened. A projection appeared on the wall.
"The Romulan-Klingon Alliance are explorers in our time", Relak began.
"Both our timelines aren't that different, in fact they were almost the same with one important exception: In our time the Romulans have left Vulcan ages ago because of the violence that was there. Vulcans in our timeline have never accepted the path to enlightenment via the banning of emotions."
The slides with numerous atrocaties and cultural developments went by and Relak proved to be quite a storyteller. Trust No-One and Soto followed his story with evergrowing interest.
"And then the Vulcans came into contact with the humans. They were astonished by the human's capability to wage war even against their own species. Together they later formed an alliance, the Federation as you know it. However their goal never was peaceful exploring or anything. The goal of the Federation is to continualy expand and subject other races for their greater glory. Their ships are under order to boldly blow things up where no-one has blown stuff up before, to use an analogy from one of their great Captains."
OK, who wants to add to this?

A small and pokey engineering was the setting for Jabez’ work shift. He found himself to hold a menial position, what was known as a ‘systems doctor’. It was his job to find and repair faults in any system across the ship. Working from a small console near the warp core, Jabez kept up the appearance of running diagnostics whilst attempting to learn more about his current situation.
A simple starmap showed him a great deal. A good deal of the Beta Quadrant was controlled by the Romulan-Klingon alliance, whilst the Federation held almost the entire Alpha Quadrant, including where Cardassian and Ferengi space should be. They were even beginning to encroach into the Gamma Quadrant.
The Olympia it seemed was a Federation warship, freelancing around the border. The war seemed to consist of large numbers of vessels patrolling the border, attacking any vessels they may come across. Gradually the better ships would sweep their way into enemy territory, pushing back their opponents. This seemed to be intermingled with occasional full attacks involving fleets, which Jabez guessed probably happened every time one side managed to build enough ships to consist a fleet.
In addition to his learning, Jabez had also remembered some incidents which may help his return. In investigating the cloaking device they had retrieved on the last mission, he and Max had hooked it up to the Heisenburg Compensators, through the transporter system. They had then gathered most of the senior staff together for a test, attempting to conceal the console in the transporter room. He reasoned from this remembering that the attempt had failed, and in fact resulted in his transportation here. But what about the rest of the crew? Commodore Soto, Dr Sulla, and Ensign No-One had all been there, and so it was reasonable to presume that they were in this universe too now. Spiro on the other hand was still on the real Olympia, and hopefully working on a way to get back.
Concealing it as a ship-wide search for power spikes, Jabez engaged a search for the name 'Soto'. If he could find the others, he thought, things could be made a lot easier for them all.

While listening to Relak's story I looked around in a daze. I slowly felt my knees getting weaker. Sweat fell off my brow and i became disorientated
"I think I need to sit down for a bit."
I collapsed into a nearby chair feeling very hot and then my eyes rolled back into my skull and I fell unconscious. I woke up in the sickbay with a slight headache.
"How long was I out for?" I asked.
"For about 2 hours. It can be a shock when you don't know what's going on. Just rest and it will all make sense."
"Yeah thanks." I looked around trying to make sense of all this. I lay back thinking about all that had gone on.
"Can I have some water please?" I asked.
"Sure," the doctor fetched a glass of water, "Here you go."
"Thanks." I sipped the water and coughed as my dry throat moistened.

The doors to the sickbay hissed open and Soto immediately walked to Trust No-one.
"Feeling any better?"
"I'm ok now, sir. All of a sudden it just all got blank on me", the ensign responded.
"Well you missed the best part of it all. It appears that our ending up here, was somewhat planned. We were brought here by the Romulan/Klingon alliance with a purpose, although Relak didn't tell what it was yet." Soto could see that the ensign still had trouble following his story, due to his sickness. He decided to keep it short.
"They have found a way to travel through different dimensions, but the technology is far from perfected. Somehow it probably interacted with the cloakingshield we were testing. Relak told me that they managed to bring everyone safe into their universe, but since the patterns were disrupted only we ended up where we should be. He doesn't know how or where the others entered exactly, but since they do have a failsafe in place that locks the patterns to shipconfigurations, he was sure that they should be on a ship not far from here"
Trust No-one did his best to listen to the Commodore's words, but they just didn't reach his brain the way they should. As Soto noticed this he told the ensign to get some rest, and let the docters keep an eye on him.
He himself could do with some rest as well, and he decided to ask his host for a meal and quarters.
OFF: Spiro and Max you still there?

::Soto was in his quarters. A loud klang sounded. Far less pleasant than the sound he was used to::
Soto: Come in.
::The door opened, and a large, broad-chested male came in. His skin was brown, with slight ridges on his forehead, and thin orange hair. He wore a Command uniform, and the rank of Leiutenant::
Un-indentified Visitor: A Lethean....interesting. Are your abilities intact?
Soto: No, I was born on Fereginar. My abilities were removed.
Un-indentified Visitor: Ferengi, interesting species. They're ways brought strange ideas to this Federation. Fortunately, our Federation left them be.
Soto: Our Federation???
::In response, the still-unidentified removed his uniform jacket. Underneath was a Starfleet uniform; gold uniform, with rank of Commander::
Visitor: I am Commander DanTrek. I am from your universe.
Soto: How did you get here? How long ago? Judging by your uniform, you've been here a while. My crew that arrived here hold the rank of crewman
DanTrek: Indeed I have. I arrived here due to an experiment they ran.I was a Chief Engineer in our universe before then, by the way. I was a crewman too, when I first arrived. But, there was something about me they liked. Don't ask me what it was, because I'm not sure myself. Anyway, after about a year I was given the rank of Ensign. I was in what we call the Operations department. To blend in, I started acting like everyone else. They liked it so much, they transferred me to Command after two years here. I was basically made a task-master. A few months ago I was promoted to Lieutenant.
Soto: You mentioned an experiment. I was told about that. What is the reason for it? Was it actually an accident, like I was told?
DanTrek: No. It was planned deliberately, but they don't want you to know this. One of their best Engineers was placed on your vessel, as a crewman, to make sure your cloaking device malfunctioned.
Soto: What was the reason?
DanTrek: I don't know, they refuse to tell me. Possibly because they didn't want me leaking information to other 'test subjects.' I've been forbidden contact with any of you. I'm not supposed to even be here.
::DanTrek's tricorder beeped. He removed from the holster and checked in::
DanTrek: They discovered I'm here. I put traps in the computer so they wouldn't find me right away. But they've run out. I must go.
::DanTrek replaced the AU uniform::
DanTrek: Tell no one I was here.
::He left the room and sneaked down the hall::

After Soto had rested, Relak had send for him.
Still thinking about the strange visitor Soto had had, he followed the escort to Relak's office.
"I trust you've rested well, Commodore. Now for the big question that undoubtly has been troubeling your mind: why did we bring you here?"
"Well don't keep me in the dark anymore Relak", Soto said somewhat agitated.
"We have been perfecting our dimensional technology for years but as you have noticed it still is unstable. Our sworn enemies are winning this war, and we need to ensure our peoples safety. We need your help to turn the tides in this war."
"Why us Relak. As you probably know your dimension is far more advanced in warfare, and transportertechnology than ours. Surely we can't be of any help to your war-effort?"
Relak nodded to the guard standing by the door. "Bring in our lieutenant" As the doors opened Soto immediately recognized the face; it was the man he'd spoken with in his quarters.
The lieutenant looked surprised to see the commodore here.
Relak's expression became more cynical. "I guess you already know each other."
Not knowing what to say, both nodded to each other.
Relak continued:"You should have known better lieutenant. We keep track of everybody's movement around here."
As Relak seated himself again he pauzed in his story to look at their faces. Undoubtly he was enjoying this part of the conversation.
"We didn't want to bother you with this, Commodore. But yes, more subjects have been retrieved from your dimension in the past. They were testsubjects, most of whom were of little value. However occasionaly there have been assets, such as the lieutenant here. We will return him and all the others to your dimension as a reward of your assistance."
"You say it like I've already agreed, Relak. But I don't even know what I should be doing to help you."
"You must agree Commodore, or you and your crew are stuck here as well. And what we need is simple; we need your insights to the Federation and their tactics. Furthermore we need you to accomodate diplomatic contact with them. Our scientists have predicted that the balance in this war can be restored by one single act... We need the head of Captain Spiro."

After the name 'Soto' turned up a few thousand results, he tried first the slightly rarer name Trust No-One, then Lethean bio signs. The search turned up one of each in the same location. The bad news was, this location was on the other side of the border. Not far from here, but in Romulan-Klingon space. Still no sign, however of Dr Sulla, and no word from their Spiro.
Crewman Jabez transferred the coordinates of his crewmates to a PADD and headed down to the shuttlebay. Expecting only a minimal bay, with space distribution favoured toward tactical systems, he was surprised to find a massive bay, twice the size of their own. The reason for the size soon became evident as Jabez approached the nearest vessel. It was a one man fighter, and the bay was filled with them.
He approached the panel, trying to act as a systems doctor might, so as not to arouse suspicion from the security contingent and number of pilots wandering around. The Xenexian pulled up stats on the fighter, and did his best to learn as much of it's operation in as short a time as he could. Some of the more vital points joined the coordinates on his PADD, and he made his way to a fighter nearest to the bay doors. He feigned interest in the engine systems before stepping to the other end of the craft and opening up the cockpit. Obviously this was a regular activity for engineers, as the security officers continued to ignore him. A pilot had engaged him in some friendly conversation on the way over, wondering about what needed attention, but Jabez had thought quickly and been able to bluff his way through.
He climbed into the cockpit and fired up the engines. This attracted a little attention, and so he stepped out and faked running some scans on the engine systems at the back before returning to the cockpit. His mental countdown reached 6...5...4 and he closed the cockpit. This was sure to make the personnel attending the fighter squadrons suspicious, but in just a couple of seconds the time delay program he had entered into the main panel would kick in and open the main doors.
As a couple of security men made their way slowly over, and several others watched, Jabez waited for the doors to begin opening before raising the craft and heading slowly towards the exit. A number of security personnel now broke into a run in an attempt to reach him, and pilots watched on. A couple were heading for their craft, pulling on gloves whilst keeping one eye on the renegade engineer. The security contingent was getting ever closer, and so Jabez had to take his chances with the half-open door. He slipped the fighter deftly under, and hit warp before the Olympia could react.
Altering course to direct himself towards the Commodore's location, he noted four identical craft following, although some way behind. Still getting used to the controls, he fired a phaser shot into nowhere, and raised and dropped shields before finally managing to accelerate to the small craft's top speed of warp six. Fortunately the Olympia herself was not in pursuit, and so it was extremely unlikely that he would now be caught.
Jabez crossed the border with no trouble, although passing a rather damaged sensor array, ensuring that one side would most likely now know exactly where he was, if only he could tell which. He made it safe, in fact, to a light year away from his destination coordinates, where he was accosted by a small bird of prey.
Despite receiving disruptor fire, he did not raise shields, but hailed the vessel in hopes that they would have a little more compassion than Captain Spiro had displayed upon Jabez' arrival in this universe. His hail was answered, and a Klingon face filled his viewscreen. Jabez negotiated a surrender, on terms that he be taken to the vessel he was aiming for, and maneouvered to dock in the pokey shuttlebay at the rear of the Klingon vessel.
It was odd to be greeted by a mixed crew of both Romulans and Klingons, but considering the circumstances, he would far rather be here than on the Federation vessel. He was escorted to the bridge, where he was greeted by the same Klingon he had talked to earlier.
"My name is Captain Morthag, and this is my ship, the IKRS K'ortha. What is your purpose here?"
"I am Crewman Jabez, of the Federation starship Olympia. I have gathered some information which I feel you may find valuable, and wish to be taken to Relak to negotiate." The captain's expression told Jabez that he had once more managed to bluff his way through, and the name he had picked up from information on his crewmates location was indeed a valuable one.
"Very well. We will take you to Relak's ship to negotiate your defection."
In just a couple of minutes, they had arrived at a large ship, armed to the teeth, and with the design of a clever mix between some of each of the two species' designs. Once beamed aboard, Jabez was taken, flanked by a contingent of both Klingons and Romulans, to the bridge. There he was introduced to Relak's first officer, and told to enter the captain's office, near the bridge. He entered just in time to hear the last couple of sentences spoken between Soto and the man who must be Relak. So, they needed to kill Captain Spiro...

Captain Spiro Vassiliou. One of the most sinister men in the Federation.....and one of the most hated by the Alliance. He and the Olympia had destroyed many Alliance vessels. DanTrek, in his years in the AU, had gotten to know the reputation of Spiro well. This vessel had had several encounters with the Olympia, a few times barely escaping in one piece.
Knowing about DanTrek's previous experience as an Engineer, Relak reassigned him to a Strategic Operations position. His job was to find the most effective way of infiltrating the Olympia, and getting to Captain Spiro. Despite his time in this Universe, his Starfleet training hadn't been overtaken at all. He still detested the practice of killing to obtain your goals
But he also knew the consequences of failing to cooperate. He had observed the punishment many times, and even given such orders himself on a number of occasions. He would be thrown in the brig, and their chances of returning to their own Universe would be gone forever.
Then he thought of something. He approached Relak.
DanTrek: Sir, I know of a way to effectively capture Spiro.
Relak: Go on.
DanTrek We'll have to infiltrate the Olympia. Obtain Tactical information needed for a battle with them. Phaser frequencies, Shield frequencies, etc.
Relak: A bold plan. The party would have to be small, though.
DanTrek: Very small. One person, in fact. It's the easiest way to avoid notice
Relak: And who do you recommend for this mission?
DanTrek: Me, sir. I was a Chief Engineer in my own Universe
Relak: I thought you would say that. Very well, Lt. The assignment is yours. Start working on a way to get yourself aboard.
DanTrek: Aye, sir.

::DanTrek was on course for the Olympia. He was in a small, Invasion-class raider, under cloak. This small class of vessel had been built for one purpose: Infiltration. It housed one of the most advanced cloaking devices ever constructed. It had only one small phaser array for weapons, to reduce the size of the vessel. It was no bigger than an escape pod. But unlike an escape pod, it could go Warp 8. He recalled his mission briefing::
Relak: Now remember, Lt, you are avoid detection at all costs. They must not realize who you are, who you're from, or what you're planning.
DanTrek: Yes, sir. They will not know who I am, under after I have completed my task.
::Another Officer came in. He handed Relak a Federation uniform, and a small device::
Relak: Here is your uniform. It will help you blend in. I want you to brew a mutiny against Spiro among his own crew. That way, there's a chance you can have him killed without doing it yourself. ::he held up the device:: This will plant biographical information and service records into their computer. They just had a set of Officers transfer in. They won't know you don't belong there.
DanTrek: A cunning plan.
Relak: It is. Good luck, Lt.
::So there he was, speeding towards the Olympia at high warp, wearing the uniform of an Ensign. He was almost to it. He set auto-navigation on the ship to tail the Olympia by 100,000 kilometers. Close enough for transporter range, far enough that they wouldn't notice::
::He transported aboard with a small amount of baggage, so he appeared like a transferree He was in a junction of a Jeffries tube, although here it was known as just 'the Tubes.' He planted the device on the panel in the Junction.
Device: Download complete
::He removed the device. He disabled the security sensors in that area, then destroyed the device with the Federation plasma pistol he had been given. He re-activated the sensors::
DanTrek: Well, so far so good.
::He accessed ship's schematics and studied them for a while to get his bearings. He left the Tubes and entered a corridor. He had to get quarters on the Olympia. He went to the Office of the First Officer, a Commander Wolfe::
Wolfe: What is it you want, Ensign.
DanTrek: Sir, I haven't been assigned quarters yet.
Wolfe: We'll have to find you some then, Ensign....?
DanTrek: Batai. I just transferred in.
Wolfe: One moment.
::Wolfe worked the console for a moment::
Wolfe: Alright, Ensign. You're assigned to Bunk 12 Barracks 2A, on Deck 5.
DanTrek: Thank you, sir.
::He left the Office and proceeded to his assigned Barracks. It was a large room, containing about 50 bunk-beds. He went down the line until he found:
Bunk 12: Ensign Batai
He sat down on his bunk. Well, he had made it this far without a problem. Now he would have to see how well the rest went.

I walked around this "sub space ship" I gathered from the various explainations. I looked at its design and saw it was pretty much llike ours. Interesting I thought. It all gradually fell into place but it stil made my head hurt.
"Kill Spiro?" I said to myself. "But for what purpose? To win this war. Did we have the right to interfere even though we were held hostage. Is this the right side we are on. How could we trust this man who claims he is what he is?"
All these thoughts went around in my head and I had to sit down to comprehend it all.
"I guess we have to do it or we won't be able to get home."
These thoughts about killing a man we knew nothing of in this alternate space made me think if what we were doing was right.
I finally came to the conlusion that the captain knew best and I shouldn't question him especially in this kind of circumstance. All I could do was wait.

(OOC: Sorry for not posting sooner. I've been a little busy lately)
::DanTrek soon recieved his assignment. He was in Engineering, scrubbing plasma conduits! But this work to his advantage, as it would be easy to complain about such menial labor. He was working along side another man from his barracks; a human by the name of Richten::
DanTrek: Why must we do such menial labor. We have the technology, why not have Computer systems do this?!
Richten: That's what I've been wondering.....for the last 4 months they've made me do this.
DanTrek: 4 months???
Richten: 4 months....day in, day out. Nothing else. Sometimes I just want to kill Captain Spiro.
::This was the attitude DanTrek was looking for. Now he just had to cultivate it::
DanTrek: Let's make an uprising, then. Start a mutiny.
Richten: Batai, do you have any idea what that will get us? Prison!
DanTrek: Not if we take over the ship entirely.
Richten: Ya know, I know quite a few people that would love to do just that.
---------------A few hours later, in the Barracks-------------
::Everyone in their barracks was soaking up what Richten and DanTrek had to say.....and agreeing::
Richten: We've lived under the control of Captain Tyrant long enough. I say we take this ship by force!
Crewmen: Down with Spiro!
DanTrek: What we need to do is recruit others into our movement. Talk to anyone you work with, convince to join us. But remember, let no word of this reach a Taskmaster.
::After the meeting, DanTrek snuck to a communications array. He adjusted the frequency to match the background noise produced by the Olympia::
DanTrek: =/\= DanTrek to Alliance. I've started the movement. Give me 12 hours, then move in and commence attacking the Olympia =/\=
(OOC: Sorry. I realize my idea limited group involvement in the mission, so I added that last part to put you guys back in the story-line)

The plan was take out select Bridge Crew Officers, and make it look like accidents. Then, when the Alliance engaged the Olympia, Casualties would come, allowing for more replacements. They had recruited all the Relief Officers
::On the Bridge, Raiden, one of their recruits, was setting the plan into motion. He put a few commands into an Engineering station, and two consoles across the room exploded::
Spiro: What the heck happened?
Raifen: A power overload, sir.
Spiro: Get two repairmen up here.
----------Meanwhile, down near the plasma conduits---------
::DanTrek and Richten were scrubbing the conduits::
DanTrek (whispering): Raiden should have blown out those consoles by now
::Almost in response, a Supervisor came to them::
Supervisor: You two, repair work is needed on the Bridge. Move!
Richten (whispering to DanTrek): Nice timing.
::They were taken to the Bridge. They began work on the comsole. Raiden was good; this would take quite a while to repair::
Spiro: Ensign Batai, how long till they're fixed?
DanTrek: At least an hour, sir. ::The Alliance was due to attack in two hours::
Spiro: Get moving then, and work quickly!
DanTrek: Yes, sir.
::Richten and DanTrek took longer than needed on purpose. Fortunately, no one on the Bridge knew enough about repair work to know how long it should take. They had only 10 minutes before the attack when they finished::
Richten: The repairs are completed, sir.
Spiro: Good. Stay on the bridge in case something else goes wrong. But keep out of the way.
Richten: Yes, sir.
----------A few minutes later------------
Tactical Officer: Sir, an Alliance ship is crossing the border! They headed straight for us!
Spiro: Battle stations.

Soto had seen the preparations made on Relak's ship. These guys meant business.
Soto also had seen the worried look of Mr. Trust No-one, and immediately understood what the young lieutenant was contemplating about.
He himself too had no desire to be an accomplish to murder. To prevent this from occuring he had offered Relak the assistance of Jabez and Trust No-one. Relak first didn't want to hear of it, but Soto had convinced him that Jabez had gathered most valuable tactical data about the Federation ship Olympia. And Mr. Trust No-one was needed to put that data to good use.
Afterwards he had instructed the commander to prevent the assasination of captain Spiro and to make sure they got home in the process.
However Soto wasn't completely ignorant to the need to place captain Spiro out of command. He was sure the commander would come up with a way to make it all work out.
For himself nothing more remained to be done but to stay close to Relak and make sure he wouldn't suspect a thing.

"I've got it!"
"Commander?"
Jabez and Trust No-one had been trying to come up with a plan to prevent the assasination of Captain Spiro, and still remove him from power. Commodore Soto had stayed with Relak, while the engineer and helmsman retired to quarters.
"The Olympia crew only know me as a crewman, and don't know you at all. According to my service record, I've only been there for a couple of months. We could easily pass as secret police of some kind, we'll find out if they have any kind of Section 31 over here."
"Of course, we go in there, arrest Spiro on some made up charge and remove him."
"An excellent plan gentlemen," Soto said, alerting them to his arrival at the door.
"And you will then deliver him to us, I presume?"
"As long as you return us to our universe, Relak."
"Alright, get what information you need from our computers and replicate some appropriate clothing. When you're ready to go we have a stolen shuttle that you can use," Relak confirmed.
"Thank you, my officers will retrieve Captain Vassiliou. You just concentrate on sending us home," Soto told Relak, turning to leave.
"Uh...one thing. We have an operative on the Olympia. I'll prepare a message for you to take to him, we're maintaining radio silence with him."
Relak followed Soto from the room, and Jabez and Trust No-one turned to a computer panel on the wall to start bringing up any information they could about any Federation secret police organisations.

::They had 4 movement members on the Bridge when the Alliance vessel arrived. But it wasn't Relak's ship. It in fact it appeared to be almost Federation. The ship approached and suddenly two Officers beamed aboard::
Visitor #1: Captain Spiro....
Spiro: The Secret Task Force....
::DanTrek recognized the STF Officer though. It was Soto!! He was wearing a Federation uniform. DanTrek transmitted a telepathic message to all Movement members Alliance forces have bordered. Cease plan. Then to the ones on the Bridge Get ready in case Spiro resists
Soto: I am Agent Soto of the STF. Captain Spiro, I hereby place you under arrest.

Captain Spiro was somewhat stunned at the sight of the STF operative, but quickly regained himself.
"By what right do you think you can take me into custody? I am the Federation's most capable soldier."
Soto turned on his most aggressive face: "You dare to challenge my orders captain? If you must know you have been charged with treason and planning an assasination against Admiral Q2. Now come with us immediately before I get angry"
Spiro took some time to let his eyes roll across the bridge. He saw that several bridge officers were ready to join him in battle, however he could also see some of them were hesitating and others who couldn't care less.
It was a standoff. Seconds passed by as the two men were looking straight into each others' eyes....
Meanwhile on Relak's ship.. Relak was walking around the bridge quite agitated. They had remained cloaked and were about 200.000 kilometers off the Olympia's port bow.
"It's taking too long", he said. "Soto should have killed Spiro by now. We wait for another minute, then we will decloak and take our chances with the Olympia. Prepare all systems!"

Whilst Commodore Soto had delivered the charges and arrested Spiro, Jabez had stood mainly completely still. From his position at the front of the bridge, he could see everyone, his sunglasses allowing his eyes to roam freely across the room without anyone ever knowing where he was looking. Several personnel appeared to be against Spiro, while others were clearly on his side and creeping ever closer to their weapons.
Silence. Jabez quickly typed out a message and sent it to Trust on the ship they had arrived in. Should this get ugly, they would need to get out and dock back aboard Relak's ship as soon as possible. Just as he sent the message, Jabez spotted a man at the back of the bridge draw a weapon. Jabez whipped out his own and stunned the man just as a phaser burst flew over Soto's shoulder. The Commodore and Captain Vassiliou seemed completely oblivious as they continued their silent staring contest.
"This is now on wide setting," Jabez said loudly, tapping a couple of buttons on his phaser. "Any more trouble and I will stun the entire bridge. By the time you wake up, we will be long gone."
Spiro seemed more agitated at the prospect of being taken off unconscious, and leaving his entire bridge crew in a similar state. The commitment of the STF officers also seemed to shake him, that Jabez was willing to stun his colleague to get the job done, and that Soto seemed completely undaunted at the prospect.
"Very well, he finally relented. "I will go with you, but only to prove my innocence and have you killed for this treachery."
Commodore Soto shook his head slowly. "Defiant to the last. Three to beam up," he said, replacing his sunglasses before seeing blue.
"Welcome back," Trust greeted them from the helm console, not looking up. He tapped a few controls and placed a containment field around Spiro.
"Back to Relak's ship, we have a prisoner to deliver."
"You know, I really like this STF gear. Can we make it standard bridge uniform when we get back?"
Pre-occupied by their apparent success, the three officers did not notice Spiro draw a small PADD-like device from his pocket and type out a message.

These fools think they can out smart me. Spiro thought to himself. If I can just modify this a little, it will send a signal to all friendly ships they will follow this call and come and save me. He kept thinking. Spiro kept fiddeling about with this device. *2 mins later* "There, Done" Spiro whispered. He waited and waited to get a response from the device, he did not even know if it was acctually transmitting, untill a small light started to flash on it. It indicated that 2 friendly ships were on there way and would arrive in a day.

Trust beamed the three aboard the ship.
“Welcome back.” Trust said, not looking up from the console. "I see you successfully extracted Mr. Spiro. Well done." He immediately put a containment field around Spiro.
“That should hold him until we arrive at Relak’s ship. Then finally we can go home. This whole alternate space thing hurts my head.”
Trust looked back down to the console. He busied himself getting the ship ready to head back to Relak’s ship. He set the course and pushed a few buttons. The readings told him that they would be arriving in a day or so.
“Sir we will arrive in about one day. No enemy ships detected ahead of us. Rear sensors detect nothing. It should be smooth sailing from here. Well done everyone.”
Trust leaned back in his chair monitoring the read outs. He relaxed a little knowing that he would finally get to go home. He had enough of conspiracies and reverse wars, he just wanted to go back to his regular job.
