After insuring the station was cleared of Romulans, Assailant had been repaired as necessary. The Victory hadn't been fixed up yet, but Nika knew the crew could use some shore leave anyway. Her footsteps had taken her swiftly to the Victory's bridge, back through the now-bustling corridors. It was nice to see people again swarming around the ship. Abandoning it had been difficult, even though Nika admitted that it had been for the best.
As she stood in the turbolift she adjusted her uniform, finding the red of first officer a little uncomfortable, mostly since she had been in civilian clothes through necessity during most of the mission. Now that she was in the Starfleet uniform, despite the slight worry that she was now a target for intruders, she felt that she truly belonged in it.
The turbolift doors parted to admit Nika, who glanced around at the officers on the bridge. There weren't many here, given the fact that the ship wasn't going anywhere. “Marine Captain Nokomis,” Nika said, seeing the marine here, apparently still wary that there might still be need for her. “How are you?” Nika knew that the marine had taken a hit, a hit meant for Nika herself. Nika was very grateful to Nokomis for that, but she had suggested that Nokomis go down to sickbay and get herself fixed up. She still wasn't quite sure if Nokomis had taken the advice or not, but she hoped the other woman had.

Ralph Wigram had not yet graduated from the Academy. He was a man who had spent his life being almost an expert in amateur interests. However for the first time he had joined something which was going to be a career and not a phase in his cycle of personal interests.
His first post was a practical role in Starfleet. It had been deemed by the senior Instructors in the Academy that Ralph Wigram should have a relatively short tenure of training and than continue his course of training in actual Starfleet conditions with active vessels.
The first of these practical placements was on board the USS Victory a Nebula Class vessel which had a very fine reputation, especially for its senior staff and more importantly for its Captain. Ralph Wigram first heard about the Victory when Admiral Magellan who was than a Captain commanding the USS Victory.
Once he had heard about his transfer to active duty he was incredibly excited. he had to wear the very child like uniform of a cadet and he was given the acting Ensign rank. He was a little confused, he always thought Acing Ensigns wore the uniforms of full starfleet officers but with the acting Ensign insignia. But he had been stuck with his Cadets uniform but with the Acting Ensign insignia. He realized it was going to take a long time to get used to the oddities of Starfleet.
The route to the USS Victory was a full time job in itself. One station to another, using one shuttle to get to another shuttle which than took you to a runabout. But than after the long route of hopping from one shuttle to another the first site of Starbase Assailant came into view.
The shuttle entered the main docking area of the massive starbase, Wigram noticed there was damage to the station, he hoped nothing was going on just yet, he knew Starfleet life was fast but not that fast.
Than suddenly the USS Victory came into view...... It was beautiful. But than the shuttle turned away and docked with the starbase. Wigram got out of the vessel and was met by a large crewman.
Crewman: Welcome aboard- which ship are you reporting to?
Wigram: Acting Ensign Ralph Wigram to report as Chief Engineer to the USS Victory.
Wigram straightened up, he was not very tall so it made him just appear slightly taller but still short. So he walked directly to the USS Victory, he wanted to see his new Engine room as soon as possible, in fact it was his first ever Engine room. Eventually he came up to a large set of doors they opened.
Security Officer: Your identification and state your business.
Wigram: Acting Ensign Ralph Wigram, reporting for duty aboard USS Victory as Chief Engineer.
Security Officer: OK, go direct to the bride the First Officer is awaiting arrivals there.
Wigram: Thank you.
He was amazed how rude everybody had been so far, it appeared as if he was smaller than an officer, perhaps even less significant than a bolt holding one of the bulkheads together. He hoped his graduation would come soon, otherwise he might need to make sure people treated him with the basic level of respect expected in Starfleet.
Once in the turbo-lift he was imagining what his new First Officer was like. He knew she was a Firont, but that was about all. Than the turbo-lift doors opened, the bridge was a very ordinary bridge, very sensible in design. Than he noticed an older center chair, he went and looked underneath it, as he had often worried how they were held down, as he put his hand on it, it lean slightly to one side. He borrowed one of the tools which was on a nearby chair which was being used and than pushed it into the housing which the center chair sat in. He knocked it in and than pushed the chair in a complete circle and than took the tool out. It had just needed cleaning, too much grit in the housing. As he was doing this, he noticed aset of small highly polished boots next to him. He lept up.
Wigram: Ma'am... um sorry ... Acting Ensign Ralph Wigram reporting for duty as Chief Engineer aboard USS Victory, by order of Commodore ONE and Commodore Harrias of S47 Academy.
Cir'kem: Welcome aboard Ensign.

After speaking with his new First Officer, Wigram had to go and do all of the singing in duties. Firstly he made his way to the sickbay, where he had to be checked and data recorded.
Oddly Wigram always seemed to get along with Medical people, it must have been their education, but he was able to talk to them, usually far more than Counsellors. While on his way he made sure he had his mental layout of the vessel in good working order. At one point where he thought he had to turn left he realised there was a dead end, so he had to check a real schematic of the vessel.
Finally he arrived in sickbay, he was met by a very young looking Chief Medical Officer. He was quite an impresive person, he already had a sevice record which was quite enviable. He had served on the USS Hanson a fine vessel with an equally fine reputation.
Wigram: Dr Rogers- I am Acting Ensign Ralph Wigram the new Chief Engineer.
Rogers: Come for your checks
Wigram: Yes indeed, they always worry me, but might as well get it done as quickly as possible.
Rogers: Worry you? Why?
Wigram: Well i have found when you visit a Doctor they often find things wrong with you and concerns you than start worrying about.
The tests continued and Wigram grinned and bore the checks. By the end he felt quite cheerful.
Rogers: Thankyou- I think we will meet again at a staff meeting, we have yet for all of our staff to arrive.
Wigram: I would like that very much and hope to see you than.
Wigram walked through the doors of sickbay and made his way to Engineering, it was a site he had hoped for, for a long while.

The engineering of the USS Victory was rather old. Not overly modern and not quite what Ralph Wigram was used to. However to have ones own engineering was a great privilege and certainly a surprise for someone of his age and seniority.
As Wigram walked in he was approached by an older full Ensign, he looked rather unhappy and certainly quite uncomfortable. Wigram was not used to dealing with senior officers, especially when they would be junior to him in his own department.
Johns: May I ask who you are and what are you doing in this restricted area, all visitors to the vessel are to stick to the authorised routes.
Wigram: I am Acting Ensign Ralph Wigram the new Chief Engineer.
Johns: Oh, I did not know we had one assigned, are you sure?
Wigram: Very sure, who are you?
Johns: I am Ensign Johns deputy Chief Engineer.
Wigram: Would you be able to show me around the engineering, I will need you a lot, as I am not familiar with this design.
Johns: Yes of course, thankyou sir, though It is up to you if you want me to stay as deputy.
Wigram: Of course.
The tour of the engineering continued.

Nika was relieved when Nokomis had gone down to sickbay, entirely without objection. It made Nika feel more secure with her crew mates when she knew they would be willing to take care of themselves, rather than ignoring injuries long after the time has come for them to be healed. And speaking of sickbay and healing injuries, Nika knew that Ensign Rogers would probably be wanting to do a physical examination of everyone he hadn't done yet already, even though Nika had gotten one done by a different doctor not all that long ago. But Nika understood somewhat why doctors would want the records set up their own way.
Just now, though, Nika stayed on the bridge, in the first officer's chair, next to the empty captain's one. Sickbay, she had no doubt, would be crowded, and Nika felt it would be nice if someone would stay on the bridge to handle anything that came up. Nika soon noticed someone enter the bridge, and she stood up to greet him. He didn't seem to notice her, however, and instead seemed intent upon the Captain's chair. She watched bemused while he fiddled with it, finally deciding to remove it. He glanced up at her then, and, a little flustered, reported in. Nika nodded and welcomed him aboard, a little relieved that he had not in fact been a very obvious vandaliser seeking to steal the chair.
After he left Nika sat back down in the first officer's chair, ready to stand up again if anyone came to talk to her. It felt rather odd to be seated when someone else stood in front of her, which was why she stood up when she was talking to someone. She had been sitting just a short while when the turbolift doors opened again, and Nika twisted to see who it was.
“Lieutenant Bahri,” Nika greeted her, noticing that the Lieutenant had obviously gone down to sickbay and gotten herself healed.
“I would like to talk to you, Commander,” Sarina replied. “In private, if possible.”
“Of course,” Nika replied, then headed to the conference room. If Sarina was surprised by Nika choosing that instead of the empty Captain's ready room, she didn't say anything. The two entered, and both sat down. “What did you want to talk to me about?” Nika asked, after a few moments of silence.
“Commander, I'm not going to be serving on the Victory for the next mission,” Sarina said.
“Oh?”
“Yes. I'll be taking some time off, visiting my family.”
Nika nodded. “Understood.” She wasn't sure what else she could say to that, she would miss having Lieutenant Bahri on the ship a great deal, and only hoped that Sarina would return after she took the time off.
Sarina left, but Nika stayed in the conference room for a bit, thinking. So many people had left the Victory recently, and while some replacements had recently arrived, like the chief engineer and marine officer, Nika didn't really know them yet. Although hopefully, over time, some of that would be rectified.

Ralph Wigram had a full tour of the engineering area, but he was now unsure as to what the acting CO wanted. The ship was rough around the edges ad he could see what he was going to do, but he thought he should at least ask and get orders. The main body of the ship was in excellent condition, the older models were far stronger and could really be called workhorses, unlike the really modern vessels.
Wigram: Wigram to Commander Cir'Kem.
Cir'Ken: Yes Ensign?
Wigram: Do you have any specific orders for me?
Cir'Ken: Yes i have, could you please meet me on the bridge.
Wigram: On my way ma'am.
He quickly walked towards the exit of sickbay and made sure people knew he was going.
He walked through the doors and to the nearest main turbolift. Before long he wa son the bridge with the First Officer in front of him.

After talking to Ensign Wigram over the comm system, Nika left the conference room and returned to the first officer's chair and waited for the chief engineering officer to come by. She decided to just stay seated on the bridge for a while. It felt more awkward to keep bobbing up and down than to just stay seated for a while.
She studied a PADD with the status reports for the ship while she waited. The ship had been mostly repaired, at least physically. But a lot of the Victory's crew had left with the last two missions, and Nika knew that they would all be missed. The Victory, however, had just received two new senior staff members, and it was possible they would receive more, which was one reason the ship wasn't racing off on a new mission yet.
“Ensign,” she greeted him when she heard the footsteps enter the bridge. “The bridge was captured by enemy forces last mission, along with other parts of the ship, I'm not sure which ones. Would you mind checking for sabatoge?” Nika asked. She may be being too careful, but she would prefer to find that out than to find in the middle of a battle that the Victory couldn't fire, or any one of a million other options.

"Ariennye finally well of enough had given her men one hell of a furnral she spoke to each one them an comfort them to her own best ability.
"Then begain to work on the hardest task there was how to tell there family about the lost of there sons an daughters never an easy task for anyone.
"Of course ariennye had aslo rentun to duty it had been a whole week before she could return to duty.
"She was amaze that she manage to do what all she had done on mission she was with ah with herself .
She headed to the bridge to see the commander see just what all needed to be done to the ship.
"Ariennye for one would not mind talk to an officer sense all what she had of her men were under her in rank.
"It made her feel weird that her marines lower rank than she was that had not always been the was not always the case.
"There was one who had out rank her but he had died in the mission leaving her in charge.
But she felt more then ready for beging in charge sense Lieutenant Colonel davis had made sure was more than ready to take charge.
"She was forever greatful for what Lieutenant Colonel had done for her she hope to never let him down an from the looks of it she had done him proud .
"There was a smile on ariennye that would remain on her face all day.
"As captain ariennye enter on the bridge wearing one brillent smile then greeting the comander. " Ariennye spoke Comander Nikaila Cir'Kem sense i been in sickbay for a week i wondering if you give me briefing of what needs to be done to the ship so i can get my men on the job.
"Ariennye whisper if you need someone to talk to i am free anytime even all you need is someone to listen to you ariennye smiled warmly.

Nika was starting to get worried about Nokomis' health when she found out that the marine captain was finally starting to feel better and able to return to duty. Soon after that the marine herself showed up on the bridge, looking refreshed and ready for anything. Not that there was all that much that could be done at the moment, while the Victory waited for new crew.
Nika winced slightly, barely noticeably, at the use of her full name and rank, Nika would have known what Nokomis was talking about had the marine simply said Nika, or Cir'Kem. Still, Nika didn't say anything, since mentioning it would be rude and unnecessary. “I've suggested to engineering that they look for signs of sabotage left by the Romulans,” Nika updated the marine officer. “Do you think your officers would be able to help look for it?” Nika asked, leaving the actual decision in the hands of Nokomis, confident that the marine would know the capabilities of her people better than Nika did.
Nika then listened as Ariennye continued. “Thank you,” Nika replied softly, trying to let those two words convey the appreciation she felt for what Ariennye had just said, but she felt that she was being unsuccessful at it. “I appreciate it.” Nika smiled back at Ariennye. “But I have to admit,” Nika said, feeling that she should add something to try to form somewhat of a better connection between her and the other woman, and to give Ariennye a slight idea of what talking to Nika would really be like. “I'm much better at listening than I am at talking.”

"Which search lasted a good four days not to meation that disarming them now all what need to be done was fixing the ship.

Ralph Wigram had just dismissed all of the engineering teams. They were odd doing what they needed to. The ship was being repaired quite quickly, the bridge was back to 100% as were all vital systems, it was largley cosmetic work. The ship was ready to work.
Ralph Wigram thought he should inform the now non Acting Commanding Officer of the development.
Wigram: Wigram to Cir'kem
Cir'kem: Go ahead Ensign
Wigram: Ma'am the ship is ready to go when you need it to, it is largley cosmetic work know.
Cir'kem: You can say that again, there are quite a few black panels on this ship.
Wigram: At least we can get going on your command.
Cir'kem: Indeed Ensign- thankyou for the update- Cir'kem out.
It was time to start his tour of the teams to make sure they were doing their jobs. Ensigh Johns was standing at the Deputy Engineers console.
Wigram: Come on Johns lets go.
Johns: Where?
Wigram: We are going to make sure the teams are doing their jobs.
Johns: Shouldnt I...
Wigram: You will come with me, lets go.
They walked very quickly, Wigrams pace was unusually fast for a man of his height, it had been reminiscent of Bernard Shaws pace- walking "as if he had an appointment with himself and was late".
The first team was working well, they were scraping panels and re surfacing them.

“The turbo lift speed unencumbered towards the bridge of the mighty ship. Cmdr Matthew had served on The Victory-B And C Before so His Adjustments to being the ship New Chief of Operations once again will be a eazy one,All of his star fleet career he had served on board Star Ship’s as a Operations and command officer This new posting will just add to his service record’
“ Having just arrived on board moments ago the Senior commander first instincts were to meet the Captain, he was probably expected.
Once again James began to worry about his appearance, it was a bad habit (or maybe a good one) that he had whenever meeting important people.
“He also began to worry about his tone when speaking to the Captain, he didn't want to seem to monstrous as he often did, but that was mostly done by his 6'1, 175 body with which he towered over almost every crew member he passed on his was to the bridge.
“He had already noticed a few averted stairs from the crew . Tall and dark and although considered very handsome in human standards he carried a sinister, almost demonic aura with him were ever he went. Before another thought entered into his head the turbo lift came to a stop and the Doors slowly opened to reveal the Old Victory-c bridge He remembered .
“There in the center sat the Captain which James had heard so much about. Warring a slim smile the old Commander . approached the center chair with a military stride. Cmdr Matthew saluted the Captain. "Sir, Cmdr James Thomas Matthew reporting for duty sir.

As Ian started to land the shuttle in the Victory's shuttlebay, he remembered back when he was a cadet on the Hanson how he landed a shuttle with only one operation engine. Landing it with both engines operational seemed easy in comparison.
As soon as Ian had exited through the back of the shuttle, he looked around the shuttlebay and thought, 'Well, it's not an Intrepid class ship, but a Nebula would be an interesting ship.' He tried to straighten out his extremely messy hair, but it just went back into it's messed up position. He exited the shuttlebay and looked around the seemingly empty halls.

Nika had been told by both her marine officer and engineer that the ship was ready to move out and that most of the remaining repairs were cosmetic. And now Nika had heard that new crew was on its way. Nika wondered briefly what they would think of the ship, but she wasn't too worried. The engineering teams had done a good job of fixing it up under the direction of the new chief engineer.
The new crew arrived the next day, when Nika was sitting on the bridge. Nika was already a little smaller than humans, and when her new operations officer entered the bridge Nika immediately felt dwarfed, before she quickly recovered. She rose and saluted him back. “Welcome aboard,” she greeted him, and smiled. She was saved from having to think of anything else to say by the senior marine officer, Marine Captain Nokomis.
As Ariennye greeted Commander Matthew Nika glanced briefly down at the report and frowned. She didn't much like the idea that devices like the one described on the PADD had been scattered around the ship, but fortunately they weren't anymore, Nika desperately hoped.
“The ship should be leaving Starbase Assailant in an hour or two,” Nika suggested to Commander Matthew, leaving it up to him what to do with the time before the ship headed out on her mission.
Another message appeared subtly on Nika's PADD, informing her that the CNO's ship had requested permission to dock. Nika realized that all she needed to do was wait for him to come to the bridge to report, and for the counselor to arrive, and the ship could leave on its next mission.
Nika glanced back at Ariennye, who was waiting patiently for a response. “Did you save some of the devices?” Nika asked. “There will probably be people in Starfleet command, as well as our chief engineer, who may want to find out how they fully function.” Nika paused. “And thank you for finding them all.”

"Ariennye head off to get the devices an let engineering take look at them ariennye had left before commander matthew.
"She had her work cut out for her as she sign for the marine equipment an gear an weapons she had her marines getting the equipment on the ship an into there places.
sense an all there was no security she had her five other marines acting security she did want anyone to worry about security sense an all she had been security officer two ships
had finish signing for equipment an had headed off to her office where she begain to work on roster for her 5marines to work sercurity an other 5 to work as marines
she thought about all the ones had lost there lives on the mission she shook her head to clear it then got back to work finally finish with the new roster she head off back to the bridge
"Report once again this time was about roster she made changes to hoping the captain would not mind it.
"Her marines beging station as security an other as marines well theres only one way to find out an thats report.
"So she head back to captain the captain an reported waiting to see what the captain thought of this.
