As many of you will now be aware, Section 47 is about to change its in-sim direction, and embark on a new Section mission that will bring our fleet into closer cooperation. The in-sim catalyst? The explosion of the Betreka Nebula, a gas cloud not far from Starbase 47, which spins it clear of its planetary orbit...
Our official starting date for the new Site Mission, accompanied by a new Section 47 Mission Statement (in character), is 1st March.

While some of our ships are putting the final touches to their current assignments, a new thread will be opened on Starbase 47, on which all crews currently assigned to: the USS El Salvador, the USS Enzio and the USS Raven will post their actions and reactions to the new events.
The shared mission thread will continue until such time that we feel comfortable enough to branch out on new assignments conducted again by our individual ships, with potential for much closer cooperation between separate vessels' crews as we begin to explore the unknown.

Our official starting date for the new Site Mission, accompanied by a new Section 47 Mission Statement (in character), is 1st March.
The synopsis for the new mission:
Starbase 47 is dislocated from its orbit by the explosion of the Betreka Nebula and sent hurtling at tremendous velocity a fair way across the galaxy - all of Section 47's Fleet (excepting the Era vessel USS Excalibur) were docked at or near the base at the time, and in the latter's case were swept along in the same direction and at the same speed as the Starbase. Once in the new region of space, Starbase 47 having taken heavy damage, the shaken starship crews and base staff set about contingency operations, ascertaining what has happened to the base and how far they have come, before they turn their eyes to what lies out there in this new mysterious darkness and vacuum, this unexplored region of the galaxy.
