Mission to Trocana Prime Take 2

OOC - I was on camp so sorry for not posting

IC -
Trust left the bridge. So far no one had suspected he wasn't infected. Trust wanted to strike now while the commodore was in her ready room. Trust sent a secret message to numerous crew members from various departments. It had been a hard task to trust people but in the end there was a large enough group to do something.

Trust sent the message and soon 50 odd people were standing in cargo bay 3 listening to what Trust had to say.

"Ok this isn't technically mutany because the commodore is not herself. We are just taking control of the ship while there can be something done to fight the infections. You will each receive a phaser. Please do not set it to kill. We are only detaining the infected not killing them. If your life is in danger then use whatever you need to do to get out of the situation. But please only kill if you absolutely have no other choice. Once you have knocked out an infected crew member take them to the brig. Any questions?"

Trust waited a few seconds but no one said anything.

"Ok pair up with someone and grab phasers. Good luck."

Trust watched as the people started filing out of the cargo bay phasers in hand. There was one crew member left so Trust paired with him.

"Good luck ensign. Watch my back and I will watch yours. The infected are unlikely to be armed but if they catch wind of what we are up to then we must proceed with extra caution."

"Aye sir." Said the ensign.

"Ok first person to get is the commodore. Computer, locate Commodore TMar."

"Commodore TMar is in the captain's ready room."

Trust and the ensign walked as fast as they could without raising suspicion about what they were doing. They arrived outside the captain's ready room.

"Ok remember do not kill her. I will stun her and you will back me up."

"Yes sir."

Trust buzzed the door and waited for the commodore to grant him permission to enter.

"Dr. Spiegel!" Luke said as he walked through the doors of sickbay. Spiegel looked up. "Are you okay?" he asked. "No," said Luke. "Commander Brianon bit me! She's a vampire as is T'Mar!" Spiegel laughed openly. "And i'm sure they come form Transylvania as well". Luke threw Speigel a dirty look. "I keep getting urges to bite people but then i'm able to control them. I think I am part immune. Scan me if you think i'm joking!" Spiegel sighed and then scanned Luke. "You have an infection that is manipulating your behavioural engrams involuntarily. I believe you!"

[T'Mar]

(ot: Luke, could you alter your post. Or come with an explanation why you should be immune to the mental effects of being a vampire. If you read on other infested ships' boards, you can see that the vampires are all under mindcontroll. I do not see why you should not be!)

T'Mar was getting hungry again. She had noticed that Trust was getting suspicious. She wondered how much he knew about vampires. She had also gotten disturbing messages from vampires on other ships who were hunted down to be 'cured'. She had to either turn Trust No-one over to her side or eliminate him. She went to her readyroom and checked his whereabouts. She found him in one of the cargobays, accompanied by a group of crewmen and women. "So, already putting on a mutiny." She tapped her commbadge. "Commander Brianon, please check on Commander Trust No-one. I think you two need a little chat" T'Mar told her.
"Then I'll invite him to my quarters" Emelye replied. But by then Trust's band of mutineers had already set to work and were on their way to the commodore.

Emelye was in her quarters sipping from a wine glass. The liquid was a litlle too viscous to be wine.. She was trying to think up a way to detect quantum filaments before the ship ran into them again. The replicated blood was helping, but her hunder was growing and she found herself daydreaming. She was imagining sinking her teeth into Luke again. The soft flesh, the warm blood...

"Commander Brianon" Emelye jumped, startled by the captain's voice. "Pleas check on Commander Trust No-one. I think you two need a little chat"

"Yes sir" Emelye replied.

She tapped her badge. Her voice was sultry and alluring.

"Trust. I have something very important to ... discuss with you. Please, report to my quarters immediately."

Emelye sat back and allowed herself to fall back into her daydream as she awaited the Commander, but this time it wasn't Luke she was biting.

[T'Mar]

(Trust, could you avoid Brianon and start 'curing' those who are afflicted? We should end this mission in the coming days.

And to all: I'm going on a vacation on thursday and I'll be gone for more than a week. Afterwards, we'll start a new mission. I'm opening a new thread for mission ideas so we can work something out. When we've got some ideas, we'll work out a scheme how things should be played out: what and in what order. This will by no means rule out any creativity, it will just be a rough schematic for the sim.)

Trust didn't like this. He was about to detain the captain but now Emelye wanted to talk to him.

"Let's leave the commodore for now ensign. Let's get Emelye."

Trust and the ensign left the commodore's door and headed to Emelye's quarters. He knew this was a trap, the vampires were smart a little too smart. Trust buzzed the door.

"Come in commander."

Trust told the ensign to wait outside keeping a lookout. Trust entered Emelye's quarters.

"Hello commander how are you this evening?"

"I am good commander Brianon. Just doing the rounds fixing things. Nearly finished now."

"I see Mr No-One. Care for a drink?"

Trust looked over and saw a small ammount of red liquid in a glass. Was this blood? Trust flexed his muscles ready for the suprise Emelye had in store for him.

"No thank you I need to be getting back soon. But I need to do one thing."

Trust suddenly lunged for the commander. Emelye let out a high pitched screeched and jumped back. Trust drew his phaser and aimed.

"We need to help you Commander Brianon, you are infected with a virus."

"You lie. Get away from me."

"You leave me no choice then." Trust fired the phaser as Emelye jumped towards Trust's throat. The phaser hit the commander in the chest and she fell on the floor unconscious.

Trust picked up the limp body and left the commander's quarters. The ensign followed Trust to the brig where all the infected but the captain were being detained. A medical officer came up to Trust.

"Sir we should be getting the formula for the antidote in 2 hours. Starfleet is sending it to us. All we need to do is make it and give everyone a shot."

"Ok. Make it as fast as you can and give them the antidote right away. I will give you some strong crew members to hold them down."

"Yes sir."

Trust left the brig and went to see the captain. He hoped he could keep her from attacking anyone until the antidote was here.

OOC - Someone want to wrap it all up?

T'Mar sat in her readyroom believing that Emelye was taking care of Trust No-one at the moment. She felt hungry again and went to the replicator to order herself a large mug of fresh blood. It was too risky to go after the crew now. So She stood there with a huge pint of blood and was about to gulp it down her throat as Trust No-one overrided the door lock and barged in with a phaser. T'Mar turned to him. "What is the problem commander?"

Trust raised his phaser and shot T'Mar. (Trust, you could fill in something here if you like)

Later on T'Mar woke up in the brig and saw that Emelye occupied the cell opposite of her. "Guards! What is the meaning of this? Please release us!"

"I'm not letting you vampires out till you're cured" one of the guards answered. T'Mar realised that they had been found out and sat down on the bunk of her cell.

Half an hour later the doctor came in and injected her with an antidote and her craving for blood disappeared. Also the demon that commanded her disappeared. Later on she stated to Trust and some others who had worked to cure the aflicted: "I am quite grateful for you resolving this epidemic. If you had not acted soon, everyone would have become afflicted." She resumed her command the next day after Dr. Spiegel had made sure her unborn child was unharmed.
