History: After the Contract of Ardra was found to be a hoax, the people of Ventax II didn’t all go back to the peaceful utopians they were before. Many wanted to leave there planet some joining star fleet, some worked on private ships and others just floated around for a wile till they died or went home. Many of these floaters also ended up thieves trying to get enough credits to get home. The Federation Rehabilitation facilities were over run by six months, so a lot of the prisoners were sent to penal colonies.
Background: Zeno Clukara was born to a young couple who were both killed in a disaster in 2363 he was being watched by the people next door to where he lived. His parents were killed when a mass transport land ship derailed and obliterated the craft out of 749 people on board 11 survived. Shortly after Zeno was sent to an orphanage where he was raised by “the sisters of Ardra” he was a good boy, who almost always would do what was right, and if he didn’t he was quick to notice he was at fault and make it right. After the Contract of Ardra was found to be a hoax in 2367 the 15 year old Zeno left Ventax (with out permission) to go on an adventure. He was found in a market on
Keto-Enol with some food that a vagrant had claimed didn’t belonged to him, he was charged with theft and spent 2368-2372 at the penal colony Canamar. There he learned how to get work on a privateer’s ship, Zeno thought this sounded like his adventure he had been looking for. When the year 2373 roled around, Zeno was released from prison a different man, he was charged with murder the following year never caught (reward 10,000 Federation Credits) it was an accident,
The man was a partner but Zeno did shoot him, vaporizing him unintentionally. The daring Zeno Clukara, started woking for a pirate from earth Egor Stroven from the Russian contonent, aboard his ship Bobruisk BDK-98 (named for the earth vessel decommissioned in 1999) a Sydney class vessel. Zeno worked his way to first mate, in 2382 in an attempt to steal supplies from a federation ship near the demilitarized zone, Egor was killed and Zeno Clukara became Captain Zeno.
