Quickly engrossed in her work after the exit of two superiors, Aerial began searching for a way of removing the creature. Through her search in the computer, she found a college chemistry test from the early twenty-first century. It had the oxalic acid in one of the problems. The base it said she needed was aluminum hydroxide.
Though the computer probably had the answers to the test, she wanted to work it out herself. While working she was trying to apply it to the problem they had now on the sensors. S’reena was back now and asked her to report once more.
The lights went out and Aerial looked up surprised that the creatures had moved to the bridge. She wondered why they would move but decided to worry about that later. At the time, the creatures would have to be removed, promptly.
“The base best suited to neutralize their excessive acid would be an aluminum oxide. For every three moles of Acid they have we need to put one mole of the oxide on them”
The cadet looked hopefully at Commander Hope and waited for further instruction. She wanted greatly to study these new creatures, and hoped that without the effects of the sensors on them they would revert back to their previous state. The commander was angry with her and she was not hiding it. So she did not want to push her luck, if the creatures had to die to save the ship; that is how it would go.
Aerial turned and frowned at the panel as she worked to get the Aluminum hydroxide. It was a simple task, the molecule wasn’t complex.
“The base is ready to go.” She reported before long.

Wolf: Left the air vent when the admiral continued on his tour of the rest of the station and started to follow again this time he allowed a greater distance to beformed between him and the admiral, he didn't want the admiral to pick up on him again. Thats when he noticed another figure watching the admiral alittle to much. He watched the other figure for a few mins to make sure he wasn't just seeing things, No doubt about there was a female watching the admiral following his every move. Manora kept to the shadows as much as possible, following the human Fleeter and his gang of children around the station. She was waiting for her opportunity to strike, and she knew it had to be soon. She was a highly trained assassin, very good at her job and nothing of her past work could actually be traced back to her. Sure, there had been close calls, but nothing that'd stop her from doing her job. By now, she had noticed the human had another shadow, a little clumsy one so she didn't pay much attention to him. ~a child~ she thought with disdain ~he won't be a problem, I'll take him out if need be~
She shouldered her sniper rifle and continued to follow the party about, occasionally stopping to take readings and gauge the distance between her and her charge.Wolf: Watched her a little longer when he noticed the sniper rifle instantly he started to move to her postion. He was finding it hard to cover the distance between him and the sniper she had picked her location well. Manora gazed over her shoulder and frowned; the human's shadow was improving his skills rapidly. It didn't matter much, she'd be at her charge soon enough, she was closing distance faster than the shadow could keep up. Quickly, she moved beyond her charge without him ever noticing, then took up position ahead, taking careful aim.<Wolf> The shock of being shot sent her own aim askew, hitting the human admiral in the shoulder instead of his heart. Grinding her teeth, she reloaded new bullets into her rifle and took aim again. Her target was down, surrounded by people in uniforms. Scowling, she shifted position to take better aim, but her whole body was aching from the stun she received.<Wolf, you can kill her now. Drew's wounded and bleeding, nothing the medics can't cure...old fashioned bullet wound, just hurts like crazy> ooc: wolf finish the tags and we're done with this one. I have to gi in a few mins. Unles you get back on to finish this one

Wolf: Wolf saw the shot his heart sank he didn't have time to see how bad the admiral was hurt, He saw the sniper reloading for another shot and he was going to make sure she didn't get. "Lt Daya I need emergency beam out on my mark 2 straight to the brig" . The sniper was getting ready to aim in again on the admiral. I need to by my self a few more secounds. Wolf took the klingon knife that Lt daya had given him and aimed for the control panel behind the sniper and threw the knife it hits mark cause the panel to spark and short out. The sniper looked back to see what had happened, Closing the distance between them wolf ran as fast as he could and dove for the sniper grabbing her in a bear hug " Lt Daya now 2 to the brig"<Tag Daya>

OOC oh goodie, something for me to work with, i hope.
IC
Daya was standing at his station, doing what he does, when the power was cut and the lights went out, immediatly grabbing his flashlight, he turned it on and looked around.
"Jason, what's going on!" she snapped, tapping her combadge. "Engineering, are you registering a power failure? The bridge is out of power, nothing works except the tricorders we have on us."
Daya checked his tricorder, just to see, and like his commander said, they worked, and judging by the looks on his phaser, so did it. He kept that in mind for later use.
"All department heads, status!" Hope finally called. "All power has been lost to the bridge, it would appear. Cant tell you much more than that without power."
"If you don't find a way soon, life support will fail. Nothing else is working, we are trapped on the bridge."
To support her theory, she tried to pry one of the hatches open that led towards the ship's maze of jeffries tubes. The hatch wouldn't budge. "Yep, we are trapped here," she emphasized, gazing around at the remaining bridge crew. "Well snap to it people, we have work to do!"
"Stand back commander" Daya called out to her, pointing his phaser at the hatch. Changing the setting to max, he fired at the hatch, using the phaser like a torch, he cut a small hole in the hatch and started to crawl through it.
"I'll go talk with the engineers, be back shortly, hopefully through the door"
S'reena nodded at the security chief. "Take a sweep of the ship while you're at it," she ordered, "we can't be too certain. I don't like being sitting ducks. If necessary, get to aux control and reroute power to this bridge from there."
As he was crawling Runningwolf's voice came over his comm badge, "Lt Daya I need emergency beam out on my mark 2 straight to the brig"
"Can it wait?" he asked, already knowing the answer, and he crawled faster, reachig the end of the tube and popping out in engineering.
<tag CEO>
"Hey, can i borrow this?" He asked, pointing at a wall console. In a few second he had rerouted the controls from a transporter room to the wall console, and was waiting for Runningwolf's word. " Lt Daya now 2 to the brig" Daya hit the button and energized the two directly to the brig.
"Daya to brig, detain those two, NOW!" he yelled as he ran down the hall, hoping Wolf wouldnt be hurt when he got there. He skidded to halt as the door opened and he was glad to see Wolf sitting in a separter cell from the other person beamed up from the surface, neither of which hurt to badly.
"What happened?" Daya saked Wolf as he lowered the sheild to let him out.
<tag Wolf>
"Daya to transporter room 4, beam the admiral and Cadet Kane to sickbay, now"
<tag doctor>
"Lt Daya to Commander Hope, Wolf was just beamed aboard with an assassin, The admirals been hit, i'm bringing him up now"
S'reena bolted upright in her seat. "What!? Is he all right?" She exchanged curious glances with Fraugg and Reynolds. "'Get back to getting power back online. Tell Smith that's our priority. I'll be heading to sickbay."
"I understand, i'll head back to engineering right now, As soon as we get powre back Wolf and I will return to the bridge."
"lets go"

“Dinner sounds like an excellent idea,” Drew replied to the Administrator’s kind invitation, “my officers and I would be honoured to join you.”
“Wonderful,” Adrin replied, “I shall make the arrangements at once.”
Drew smiled politely, as the Administrator entered some commands into a console, presumably ordering the galley to prepare an elaborate meal. Taking this chance of peace and quiet, Drew took a look around the Operations Centre, it made the Hanson’s own bridge seem like a crewman’s quarters.
“An impressive structure don’t you agree Cadet?” Drew said to Kane, turning to face the young officer to be.
“Yes sir,” Kane answered somewhat nervously, for some reason not making direct eye contact with Drew.
“Is something bothering you Cadet?” Drew asked, moving closer so that Adrin may not over hear them.
“No sir,” Kane replied, “I am, I am just amazed at the size of this thing.”
Drew gave the Cadet a suspicious glance, and then deciding it was nothing, turned back to face the Administrator.
Suddenly Drew felt a tremendous pain in his left shoulder, crying out in shock and agony; he fell to the floor, clutching hold off his left arm, which was bleeding violently.
As the world around him started to fade into darkness, he became aware of people rushing around him, and then just as everything went dark, he felt the familiar tingle of a transporter beam, lifting him away.
OOC:
I’ll leave it to the Cadets accompanying me to write about arriving at the ship and transporting to sickbay, you have my permission to do what you like with Drew, short of killing him, I’ll work with whatever you give me.

OOC: Sorry about that Commander Hope didn't mean to do that. Thanks for fixing it for me. how on earth did you have power in that console...when everything else is powerless? "Well snap to it people, we have work to do!" Commander Hope ordered after she had discovered that they were trapped on the bridge. As of that moment they were alone. Jason made his way toward Cadet Fraugg's station and began to assist anyway he could. He saw that she was looking up base compounds. He was not sure if they had the bases to do the job, but that could easily be fixed with a replicator. “The base is ready to go.” She reported before long. "Aluminum hydroxide, wasn't that used to treat ulcers back in the twenty-first century?" Jason asked perplexed that the Cadet would use this base. <Tag Fraugg> It seemed that she was certain that the Aluminum hydroxide would do the trick, so Jason backed up her assessment. It of course would be up to Commander Hope to decide if they would use it. "Commander Hope, Cadet Fraugg's analysis tells us that the base she has chosen will do the trick," Jason reported to the first officer. "Well get on it then! What are you waiting for, get that thing off our hull!"Jason didn't really wait for the Commander's response as he heard a his alarm go off from his station. Jason ran towards his station and activated the transporters. "Commander my alarm has just informed me that Admiral Drew has been seriously injured, I transported him and his away team to Transporter Room 1," Jason reported angry that he could not transport the Admiral to sickbay. <Tag Everyone on the bridge>

Wolf: Was shocked at how strong the sniper was, She knew what he was trying to do and was doing everything she could to make him loose his grip, to the point she was kneeing him in his groin, Wolf ignored the pain waiting for the transporter to grab him, When he felt the transporting grab him , he started to think about the admiral and how he had failed his mission to protect him, he promised himself that he would join his spirit guide if the admiral was dead. Befor he knew it he was in the brig staring at the sniper in the adjoining cell. She didn't look happy she looked disappointed that she had been caught by him. Before he could say anything he heard her speak
" Your a fool poorly trained you didn't even know I was there until it was too late, not to mention you missed me with your knife if I had thrown it you would have been dead."
Wolf looked at her for a few secounds " I didn't miss if I had wanted you dead then you would be trust me on that, I wanted you alive because there's a certain Romulan Commander who is going to want to talk you and trust me dont let the starfleet uniform fool you she wont be nice" Wolf sat back for a moment studying her " Oh before I forget if my admiral is dead , listen very closely to me I promise you I will kill you and known on this ship will be able to stop me I wont care what happens to me so don't let my uniform fool you either"
Wolf looked up to see Lt Daya standing outside his cell it appeared he had been standing there for a few mins listening to the exchange he was having with the sniper, By his expression wolf could tell the Lt Daya was not happy about what he had just heard. " Sir she the sniper the one that shot the admiral, I dont know how bad the admiral was hit I failed sir I failed" <Tag Daya>

Max was not happy. Not at all. rirst it hadbeen the navigational computer systems, then something came along and started sucking the power. Most engineering ad bridge systems had backup power, so it wasn't a problem- yet. the chemical panel lights were still working, which he suposed was a good sign.
"Alright, could somebody find the source of the drain?" Max half ordered.
<anyone in engineering>
"thanks. Now, what's going on? explain it to me in simple terms. I've been out of touch, and I need our status. Quickly." Max ordered.

"Put him on the biobed!" Michael cried, rushing forward with a tricorder. It was too bad that Doc Brelev hadn't had the chance to return to the ship yet, but he had paged her about three times by now. Michael hoped she'd be back soon; he was a paediatrician, not a surgeon. While he could perform minor surgeries, serious injuries was not among his skills.
Elbowing his way through the small crowd, Michael finally found himself bending over the admiral's unconscious body. "Oh dear," he murmured, looking at the bloody mess. "Nurse get me the admiral's medical file, quickly! If you find his blood type so much the better. For now, give me two units of 0 negative!"
He nodded towards the nurse who'd had the sense of pressing down a bundle of cloth on the admiral's injury in an attempt to staunch the bleeding. "How did this happen!" he demanded, taking a quick scan among the crowd, finally spotting Cadet Kane. "You there, what happened!"
<Kane, give him a run-down on events, and keep on guard for the admiral's safety. if you think mike is harming him...do your job>
Michael listened only with half an ear to what the cadet was rambling about, trying to keep his attention on his patient. "Someone find me Doc Brelev!" he finally bellowed, interrupting the cadet's report. He set up the transfusion, continuously murmuring about how much blood he'd lost.
"What kind of injury is this," he wondered, "Nurse, help me get the projectile out. There's something embedded in the injury." Sweat forming on his brow, Michael worked furiously, trying to staunch the bleeding. "Nothing major was hit," he muttered, "no arteries, no veins. Lot of tissue damage. No he's not going to be happy when he comes to again."
Absentmindedly, the assistant CMO filled up another hypospray with tranquillizers and painkillers and shot the dosages home. Finally, Brelev walked in. "Ah there you are," Michael called, furiously waving her over. "What kept you! Admiral's been injured, I need your help."
<Brelev>
When Brelev took over, he took Kane by the sleeve and pulled him into the office. Then he tapped his combadge. "Sickbay to security. Did you get the perpetrator? I've an eye-witness here for questioning."

On the Station Brelev had Nurse Mitchel locate a map and they searched out the nearest hospital. Treking through the crowds was not easy, the station was packed, although mostly Klenix made up the population Brelev recougnised a few other species. Mitchel and her got a few strange looks, due partly to their facial features, partly to the fact Brelev was in a hoverchair.
The hospital was not as packed as the promenade, a small waiting room played host the the regular injuries, and an orderly was keeping things alm and organised. Rather then deal with communication error regarding written language, Nurse Mitchel spoke to the orderly on behalf of Brelev. "Excuse me, is there a doctor we could speak with? It's not exactly an emergancy, but two of our crewmembers, one you see here, have been injured by something we know nothing about."
The orderly looked down at Brelev and then back up at Nurse Mitchel. "Doctor Yerbruk is on his break, he would like the chance to meet you." she gestured down the hall to a small room. Mitchel guided the chair over.
Doctor Yerbruk was an aging Klenix who looked up at first bored, then again in great fasination. "StarFleet!" he exclaimed. "Medics! even better, what can I do for you?"
Nurse Mitchel explained the weapon that had been used and the effects it had, she then explained the two victims. Brelev meanwhile looked around the room, the Klenix seemed to have rather complex medical instruments, most likely because they did not have the technology to make them simpler, there was a full diagram of the male and female Klenix physiology as well as several smaller diagrams that displayed the other species that seemed to make up the Station community. Nurse Mitchel handed Brelev a PaDD. It was Doctor Yerbruk's reply. Basically he knew how to solve the problem on most humanoids, and would give them what they needed, but from what he knew about Bajorans, it ight not work so well on Jolim so she would probably need to recover on her own. Meanwhile he would take a moment to help her.
Brelev nodded and bit her lip, the answer was not as good as she had hopped but she would take what she could get. Nurse Mitchel guided Brelev into an examination room and Doctor Yebruk explained the procedure. He then set to work with Nurse Mitchel's assistance. "Alright, we are done. Stand up and for goodness sake answer that call.
Brelev smiled realising he could hear him, stood up and then understood what he was talking about, her commbadge was beeping. =A=Doctor Brelev here.=A=
=A= we need you back at the station, the Admiral and Cadet Kane have both been injured. Prepare for transport=A=
=A= Standby=A= Brelev looked over at Doctor Yebruk, "Thank you very much, I'd love to visit with you longer, but there is a medical emergancy back at my ship."
"Don't let me keep you, go." he replied.
=A= Energise=A= Brelev orderd, the examination room faded and the doors of sickbay appears. Brelev and Nurse Mitchel enterd with purpose.
"Ah there you are," Michael called, furiously waving her over. "What kept you! Admiral's been injured, I need your help."
Brelev did not bother to reply, Michael handed her the Admiral's file and then took Cadet Kane into the CMO office. Brelev scanned the file, and had one of the nurses breif her on the situation.
"An object imbedded in the wound, sounds like 21st century weaponry. we need to remove that now, it's most likely designed to do a great deal of damage once inside." She mutterd, and set to work.

Wolf: Looked at Lt Daya came to attention understood sir, " Sir she shot the admiral I was lucky to stop her from getting a secound round of, she was using sometime of old projectile weapon." Wolf reached into his pocket and pulled out the round this is what the weapon fired " Sir this is the type of ammo the weapon fired I was able to get one off of her in our struggle also sir I haven't had a chance to search her for other weapons you might want security do a search as soon as possible and also let them know she quick with her hands and feet very well trained and alot stronger then she looks"
Wolf: Looked at Lt Daya and could tell he was disappointed in him for his comments, I wonder how mad he's going to be if I have to end my own life because the admiral doesn't make, time for tha later. " Sir there's something else you should know I had to use your knife I wasn't able to get it back not enought time, Also I'm sorry you had to hear that early I will work on keeping my anger in check" Wolf was ready to head to engineering to help get power back on line he looked at the sniper in her cell, They exchanged a glance knowing full well what would happen if things didn't work out a silent challange. <Tag Daya>

Tommy Tagert Could remember going to transporter rm.3 and beaming down to what was suppose to be, a starbase. But when he awoke from what ever had hit him on the head he couldn't remember where he had ended up he knew that he didn't feel too bad, but he could smell dirt and his arms and legs couldn't move. The room was dark, lit only by one candle set over on some type of table, desk or counter, about waist high on a Terran. He wanted to ask the person in the corner why he was here and where here was, but as he was about to ask a bright light, from above the furniture he was lying on flashed awake, and for some reason he fell back into the deep sleep he was in before. Several times wile passing in and out of conciseness he could feel dripping on his neck from his chin, and sharp but passing pain in his hair. As soon as he woke up he was on the Hanson. in his room. Now he had a head ache, but still unable to move.
All he could utter before he passed out again was, " Commputer...help...uhh....."
(can any one tell me where I've been and where is my phaser. or even my com badge or my tricorder?)

“An impressive structure don’t you agree Cadet?” Drew said.
<I'm getting that feeling again.> “Yes sir,” Matti answered.
“Is something bothering you Cadet?” Drew asked, as he moved closer to Matti.
“No sir,” Kane replied, “I am, I am just amazed at the size of this thing.”
<He can't possably believe me. This feeling has never been so strong.>
<Where is it coming from?> Matti thought as he searched the area.
<There.> He spotted a shadow behind them and moved to block the admiral.
<!Wolf!> Matti thought out of instinct more than anything else hopeing that he saw what was going on also.
It wasn't soon enough. Almost instantly there was a shot and Matti's right arm was inflamed as he saw the admiral go down.
<He has to be ok. He has to be.> Matti thought as he checked the Admiral for wounds.
<It looks like a 20th century bullet wound. The Admiral is still alive. Good.>
Matti was glad it was only in an extremity not the torso. It would hurt for a while but that would be the extent of it if it was treated soon.
<!Wolf, you can kill her now. Drew's wounded and bleeding, nothing the medics can't cure...old fashioned bullet wound, just hurts like crazy.!>
As Matti looked down to see what he could do, a transporter beam locked on him ,the Admiral, and Veranda who was scared but still within a few feet of Matti.
"Put him on the biobed!" Michael cried, rushing forward with a tricorder.
Elbowing his way through the small crowd, Michael finally found himself bending over the admiral's unconscious body. "Oh dear," he murmured, looking at the bloody mess. "Well Sir, he got shot. I tried to protect him but I wasn't fast enough. We were about to go to a banquet with the Administrator when..." Matti replied getting interupted in the middle of telling the story.
"Someone find me Doc Brelev!" he finally bellowed, interrupting the cadet's report. He set up the transfusion, continuously murmuring about how much blood he'd lost.
"What kind of injury is this," he wondered, "Nurse, help me get the projectile out. There's something embedded in the injury." =^=Lt. Daya here, we got the perpetrator, go ahead and send the witness up to engineering=^=
"You had better get to engineering as soon as possable. I'm going to see what can be done to help the situation here." Doctor Hope said to Matti.
"Yes Sir." Matti replied as he headed out of sick bay.
On his way out the door, Michael stoped him and asked, "What happened to your arm?"
"I'm not sure. It is fine. I'll be ok." Matti said as he pulled open his sleave to look at hole in his arm.
As he noticed the hole on the other side of his arm where the bullet went through, Matti said, "I've seen worse holes in other people. This one doesn't seem that bad."
"It looks like your arm slowed down the bullet that went into the Admiral. If that bullet did that much damage after going through your arm, I'd hate to see what it would have done if it hadn't." Michael said half to himself.
"We are going to have to fix that up right now." The doctor said.
Matti suddenly didn't feel very well. The room started to go black and the ground seemed to be getting closer.
=^=Doctor Hope to Lt. Daya. There has been a change. If you want to speak to the eyewitness you will have to come here to see him.=^=

<Slight Back post>
"Doctor Hope, before you interegate the cadet to death, treat his injuries." Brelev carefully reminded the ship's pediatrician who had gotten so carried away with finding out what had happened to the Admiral he'd missed Cadet Kane's wounds. She then turned back to where she was fishing the object out of the Admiral's shoulder. "There, got it." she said triumphantly, dropping to object in a nearby tray. It was a small cylinder which seemed to have popped out some anchors once in the victim, this was why it was so difficult to get out. "Run a full diagnostic on that, I want to know why it caused so much damage."
she looked around and realised that all the Nurses where busy and Doctor Hope was still dealing with cadet Kane. =A= Computer activate the EMH=A=
"Please state the nature of the medical emergancy." the young, blond haired holoprogram quipped as it appeared. "Oh, that is not good. Did you..."
"Analyze this." Brelev orderd handing him the PaDD. He mummbled something about having better uses and headed to the back room.
"This wound is still bleeding heavily Doctor, I don't think he is coagulating naturally." The Nurse reported.
"Probably what that projectile was designed for. Easy enough for us to fix, Get me a Coagulative Activator and let's up the amount of Type O being fed into his system, the last thing we need is the Admiral to bleed to death." Brelev orderd, she looked down at her tricorder and realised that since they got the projectile out, things where looking up. "We seem to be over the worst of it, let's keep working people."

Michael had barely managed to catch the marine cadet before he struck the deck. Tiredly, he rubbed his eyes while with the other arm he continued to support the young man. Just then, S'reena came charging into sickbay, nearly tripping over the two men. Last minute, she noticed her husband crouching with the cadet in his arms, and a last second de-tour sent her stumbling as she wasn't too solid on her own feet just yet. "What happened?" she demanded, her tone that of 'I am in command here and I will tolerate no nonsense', as she assisted her husband in getting Kane onto a biobed. Quietly, Michael explained that the cadet had been on his way to engineering to explain events to the security chief when he suddenly seemed to have lost consciousness. A little abashed, he also admitted that because of the fuss over Drew, he had missed Kane's injury. "It seems the projectile recocheted off the cadet after striking him and then continued its way into Drew. The admiral is very fortunate, but please do drill it into him that he's got a family to care about, and next time he's to take a bit more security with him for protection?" S'reena made a sound that was a little short off a snort, then chuckled even though her eyes flashed angrily. Michael knew the anger wasn't directed at him, but flinched nonetheless. He knew what she could be like when she was angry, and at any time he'd rather be elsewhere when she was in this mood. "Him take more security? Hah, that'll be the day! He still thinks he's a young man, but I think it's time he learns the meaning of the word protection.......now you take care of that cadet." Michael nodded, and soon enough was finished treating the cadet's injury. Pressing a hypospray against Kane's throat, he injected a dosis of stimulants. "Easy now cadet," he said softly, as Kane stirred, "I want you to keep in a lying down position for the next few hours. Try to sleep a bit after Daya's been by to talk to you. And that's an order marine!" <Kane.......try me > Meanwhile, S'reena walked up to Brelev, who was hovering over the still unconscious admiral. "Wake him," she ordered, knowing full well the CMO would object, "I want him to tell me what he recalls. I know he's in a bad shape and by his pallor I can see he's lost a fair amound of blood. Yes and not just by his pallor, look at your uniform doctor." She waited impatiently until Brelev woke Drew up. "Glad to see you still among the living admiral," the Romulan chided her CO, "perhaps next time you will consider my advise on taking more security? What do you remember of what happened?" <Drew> ooc: Reynolds......how about you and Fraugg get that thing off our hull and get power back up?

Opening his eyes, Matti say the face of Dr. Hope. "Easy now cadet," he said softly, as Kane stirred, "I want you to keep in a lying down position for the next few hours. Try to sleep a bit after Daya's been by to talk to you. And that's an order marine!"
"Yes sir." He replied weakly.
As he got on the bed Matti noticed that Veranda sat herself in a chair next to the him.
"Hi, little one. How are you doing?" Matti asked her as she sat looking around the room.
"I was scared. Everything happened so fast. Nobody noticed me when we got her though, so I hid until you came out of the room. When you was dragged to the bed I didn't know if you were hurt or not." She replied with a start.
"I'm fine but the doctor wants me to stay here for awhile. I'm going to try to rest. Wake me up when I get a visitor. there are some people I need to talk to. Will you be ok for a while if I take a nap?" Matt stated to Veranda.
"I will be ok. No one bothers me if I stay quiet. I'll wake you up when they want to talk to you." Veranda stated.

" Sir there's something else you should know I had to use your knife I wasn't able to get it back not enought time, Also I'm sorry you had to hear that early I will work on keeping my anger in check"
"Dont worry about my knife, cadet i'll go fetch it later. And about that anger issue, it happens, just dont follow through with it and you'll be fine"
They walked at a normal pace as the headed towards engineering, until doctor Hopes voice interupted their walk
=^=Doctor Hope to Lt. Daya. There has been a change. If you want to speak to the eyewitness you will have to come here to see him.=^=
=^= on my way doctor=^= Turning to cadet wolf, he looked at him for a moment, thinking. "You can either come with me, or head to engineering and see what you can do there. Your choice"
<tag wolf>
Daya turned and headed to the nearest turbolife, pressing the call button, he was slightly irritated to have to wait for more then a second. When the doors opened he stepped in and called for sickbay's deck
He stepped into the hustle and bustle of sickbay, and immediatly noticed the admiral, bloody shoulder and all, practicall covered with nurses. 'lucky guy' he thought quickly, then saw cadet Kane, sleeping none the less, with a little girl sitting next to him. "Hello, who might you be?" he said, and noticed she seemd either scared or a little shy.
"my name is Leuitenant Daya, can i see Mattimeo?" he asked kindly, hoping she would respond.
<tag Veranda>
"Good to see your still alive, cadet." Daya said as Kane woke up. "What can you tell me?"

Brelev was continuing to carefully monitor Admiral Drew's vital signs when she was rudly approached by Commander Hope. She regarded the First officer as a very capable, intelligent but rather harsh individual and was hoping for a chance to one day see her in a new light. This was not that time.
"Wake him," she ordered, "You know very well I won't do that.." Brelev protested.
"I want him to tell me what he recalls. I know he's in a bad shape and by his pallor I can see he's lost a fair amound of blood. Yes and not just by his pallor, look at your uniform doctor." S'reena insisted.
Brelev looked down and saw her blood soaked tunic. "Then you do understand the peril he is in. Look, at this point the Admiral is comatose, this means he is not exerting himself, so the lack of available blood is not as great an issue as it would be if I did wake him."
"We all took a basic medical. Up the plasma in his system and he will be in stable enough hape to give me the information that I need, if something goes wrong, by neck on the line Doctor, not yours." S'reena argued.
"If something goes wrong the Admiral could suffer, permenantly." Brelev argued, adjusting her footing to stand more confident.
"I call that risk, wake him Doctor, that is a direct order."
Brelev relented, to be honest her protest was more about her standing up the the Romulan women then anything else. She took care to stay near while Commander Hope talked to the Admiral.

"Hello, who might you be?" Leuitenant Dayae said to Veranda.
Veranda looked up and noticed that someone was standing at the edge of the bed. She looked up at him and then looked down and lost her self in thought, ignoring him completely.
"My name is Leuitenant Daya, can i see Mattimeo?" he asked kindly.
Veranda leaned over and shook Matti awake. "You have a visitor." She said to him.
"Good to see your still alive, cadet." Daya said as Kane woke up. "What can you tell me?"
Matti relayed what had transpired on the station. Strugling to stay awake while telling what he knew Matti fell back asleep almost imediatly after the words got out of his mouth.
Veranda looked up and said, "He is sleeping again. I won't let you wake him up again. Go away and come back later."
She once again lost herself in her thoughts as she left them standing there.

Max grumbled. If nobody was going to tell him what had happened, the would have to find out. he typed a few commands into the computer, read what came up, and slammed it off.
"I didn't want to know THAT." he snapped. "do we have the power net mapped yet?" he charged the staff with instead. "I need that yesterday, if possible." a warrant officer came up to him with it.
"just finished sir. this is a comparative of what it should be and what it is now. there is a n agent that is interfering with our circuits. whatever it is, it's originating in the shuttlebay and it's spreading through power conduits. It seems to be most comfortable in an energy field- It's not feeding off of it, but it seems to use the energy to make it's home."
"interesting. Shut off the warp core in that case. I don't want it in there. Impulse engines should only be used for power generation by indirect heat methods. shut off the direct current."
"that will Cut power to the ship dramatically."
"Everybody should be in emergency areas by now. Batteries should be able to run the ship for the time being."
"2 hours at most."
"Plenty of time, If you ask me. We'll just have to be quick about our work." Max walked over to the center core console. he tapped a few buttons, and a rarely used set of controls lit up. Max worked these slowly until the core was of, and the only light in engineering was provided by chemical reactions in panels sitting above consoles, and the consoles themselves.
"now flush the power conduits." Max ordered the young man. "It's not hard at all. And all non essential power is already off. you have two hours to finish a 45 minute routine operation."
"In this case, it's not too routine." the officer said.
"The procedure is, the case isn't. but the procedure doesn't change."

Where am I? Drew thought to himself, as he slowly started to awaken, blinking rapidly as the bright lights above him temporarily blinded him. As his vision started to focus, he realised he must be in sickbay, he began aware that both S'reena and Brelev were on either side of his biobed, watching him carefully. The sight of red blood over Brelev's uniform gave him some cause for concern, but whatever pain killers the Doctor had used, seem to be working, the very fact that he was awake now meant that his injury wasn't that serious.
"Glad to see you still among the living admiral," S'reena said above him, "perhaps next time you will consider my advise on taking more security? What do you remember of what happened?"
"More security?" Drew said slowly, "you were the one who assigned a Cadet to tail me."
S'reena smiled briefly, despite her concern, "I should have known you would have spotted him."
Drew tried to speak, but momentarily couldn't find the energy, he waited a few seconds, and then with a deep breath tried again.
"I only remember being in the command centre," he said, still a slow pace, "I was looking around, then something hit from behind, that's all I can remember."
"We believe we have your attacker in custody, security is interviewing them now," S'reena replied, "and once Cadet Kane has been treated, he will be questioned also."
"Kane was injured?" Drew asked, panic and alarm in his voice, "how badly?"
"It's nothing to worry about Admiral," Brelev said, her tricorder checking his vital signs, "you really need to get some rest, you have lost a lot of blood, and your body is in shock."
Drew looked over at the Doctor, usually he resisted all attempts to keep him in sickbay, but he was already tiring quickly after just this brief conversation, at this point, not only was argument pointless, but he just didn't have the energy for it.
"Get back to the bridge S'reena," Drew said, "find out what is going, and put a stop to it before anyone else gets hurt."
S'reena nodded her head, went to talk to Michael briefly, then left sickbay. Drew watched her leave, and then feeling more sleepy, closed his eyes once again.
OOC: A shortie I know, but not much I can do from a hospital bed lol. Good work everyone on the posts made these last few days, I am very impressed, keep up the good work!

Crystal is walking in the base when she hears shots. She glances around, and sees most people doing what any sane person would do in this situation, move away from the sound of weaponry. But Crystal, as used to dealing with trouble as she is, figures the shots involve Starfleet, and therefore her. And she doesn't much care if other people think her insane, as long as they don't do anything stupid because of their impressions.
She readies her phaser in her hand and runs toward where her ears pinpointed the sounds as coming from. She arrives at the scene to see people dissolving into transporter beams. “What happened here?” she asks someone standing nearby. He gazes at her, looking a little frightened, and Crystal realizes she still has the phaser clutched in her hand. She puts it in her left hand and drops it to her side. It's still available easily enough if she needs it, but it seems like less of a threat to others.
“There was a shot, and then people transported out,” he replies, not being very helpful at all. Crystal has figured that out on her own. She sighs, and finds a mostly-isolated area, just to create a personal barrier, not because she thinks other people are actually likely to be eavesdropping on her. Or that it would matter if they did. She taps her commbadge. =/\=Shinsei to Tagert=/\= she says. =/\=Where are you now?=/\= she asks, but no one replies. =/\=Shinsei to Tagert=/\= Still no reply. Crystal makes a mental note to check up on him once she returns to the ship, but he is probably just sleeping in his quarters. She hopes he isn't injured or anything like that.
She taps her commbadge again. =/\=Shinsei to Arika, are you in the holodeck still?=/\= she asks, since she remembers that was where he had said he was going.
=/\=Aboard the Starbase? Good, I'll meet you there. There's been an incident.=/\=
Crystal heads towards the holodecks, and sees Arika waiting there. “On of the Starfleet crew has been shot. I'm not sure who, but I think it would be best if we headed back to the Hanson now.”
The two arrive back at the Hanson docking bay and enter the Hanson to find it rather dark, with only emergency lighting. “We should head to the bridge,” Crystal suggests.

S'reena cast one last concerned glance in Drew's direction, relieved to find him back asleep. She couldn't blame Brelev for not wanting to wake the admiral in such crucial stage, but it had to be done. While she was no medic, she was fully aware of the damage it could do, having been injured this bad herself a couple of times too.
After exchanging a brief conversation with Michael, the Romulan woman headed back to the bridge. "All hands, this is Commander Hope speaking. Shoreleave to the station has been recalled, everyone return to your stations! There will be a briefing in ten minutes, don't be late!"
It was about time everyone reported what they had found, and solutions were offered to the problems they were facing. With a grim look on her face, S'reena marched down to the briefing room, fully expecting every instructor and every cadet, save for the ones detained in sickbay, to attend.
<everyone, REPORT!>

Wolf: Looked at Lt Daya " Sir if its all the same to you I would like to go with you to sickbay and see how the Admiral and Cadet Kane are doing" Just as wolf was finished answering they heard the call to report to the briefing room. " I think our trip to sick bay might have to wait for now sir, It sounds like the Commander is going to want some answers right now" <Tag Daya>
