As always the detail of the holographic recreation of Starfleet Academy surprised and amazed Drew. In this simulation it was a cool autumn afternoon, with a nice gentle breeze blowing in from the bay. Drew stood in full dress uniform on the stage, seated behind him were the instructors of the Hanson, and various members of the Academy staff. To the front of the stage, all stood smartly to attention were the nervous looking Cadets, now in officer’s uniforms, listening inventively to Drew’s speech.
“Lastly, all there is left for me to do now,” Drew said, concluding his speech, “is to wish each and every one of you the best of luck in your future carers, reach for the stars.”
There was a loud round of applause, Drew nodded his head in thanks, and then stepped back to talk to S’reena who had approached him with a small padd in her hand.
“Now the moment you have all been waiting for,” Drew called out into the microphone, “graduation!”
“Cadets Ardawen, Kiara Sienta and Nack, please approach the stage,” Drew said, reading the names of from his padd.
When the three officers were assembled, Drew shook each of their hands, and wished them all the very best of luck. Then with a loud round of applause, he stepped back to allow the instructors to approach the newly graduated officers.
OOC:
Congratulations to Ardawen, Kiara and Nack, full details of your new ranks and assignments will follow shortly. I would suggest keeping an email on the Personnel Officers board.

S'reena waited, holding a little back as her fellow instructors got up to congratulate the three graduees. While she was fully entitled to be here, for some reason she felt extremely uncomfortable. Especially since she had missed the previous graduation ceremony due to her court martial and being held in the brig prior to that.
The Romulan still felt the stares of her fellow instructors, one of them in particular. She knew Drew would take a while to give her his full trust again, but at least he wasn't making her feel miserable over it, and was trying to trust her. Many of the others were not so collegial, and others just avoided her or made it plain they were uncomfortable in her presence.
Once the instructors had passed the line of cadets, S'reena got up from her seat and walked towards them. "Congratulations on your graduation," she stated, "the three of you performed quite well on this training mission, and I know it wasn't an easy mission at that." She glanced at the Ferengi graduee. "I'll admit I never thought a Ferengi would graduate from the Academy, in the medical field at that, but I believe you will make an excellent doctor." Then she smiled. "I just hope you will have more willing patients than me in the future."
She glanced at the three graduees. "Any thoughts of where you want to go?" she asked them.

Kiara was beaming with happiness, she had finally completed her academy training, it hadn't been easy for her, she had so many barriers in her, especially since she had returned from become a joined trill.
She had not expected to graduate so early but smiled and walked up onstage to receive her promotion as her name was called, after Admiral Drew finished his speech the cadets when back to their seats to enjoy some leisure time, they was all busy talking when she noticed Commander Hope approach them. she smiled.
*Thank you Commander* She replied, *It's been an honor serving with a great crew. I just hope whatever ship i'm assigned to welcomes me as much as i've felt welcomed at the Academy, I'm also glad to see you doing better* she smiled and listens as the others said their thanks.

*Not really, i'll be happy with anywhere i'm assigned, i'm just pleased that i was able to complete my training finally.* She said with a smile a bit of happiness in her tone.

Brelev found a seat near the aisle just as the ceremony had begun. She'd been delayed by some administration work to do with a certain cadet, retaking her post on the Hanson and explaining why she had returned to the Hanson after not being formily released from the Station's doctor's care. All cases had ended in her favor, which was suitible given the fact she was now feeling substantially better then she had before. The treatment the Hanson medical crew settled on had done it's job well, Brelev was no longer achy or drowsy and neither where any of the other former patients.
Brelev had seen enough Graduation ceramonies to know when to applaud, be silent, and other things called upon for the instructers. She did her best to applaud equally for all the new officers, but was unable to hold back for cadet Nack. He was now one of very few ferengi's in StarFleet and also happened to be the only Ferengi CMO. Brelev had little doubt that he's obstacles regarding this issue where complete, however given his preformance in the mission she was also certain he would jump any such hurdles with ease.
Once the ceremony was complete Brelev made her way over to cadet Nack. "Well, Lieutenant, I may not have been your official instructer, but I can assure you I am just as fond of you as any other cadet I've had. I'm not sure If I can speak for everyone, but I know I would not hesitate to be under your care in an instant and I can only hope that your skill and bedside manner will when the skeptics over. Now I am certain you have a lot of people to visit with, so I'm not going to keep you long. Good Luck on your next assignment Doctor, I'll be keeping tabs on you."
Brelev gave the Ferengi one last hadnshake before making her own way to the buffet table, perhaps that last comment was risky, it was not that she planned on stalking the young doctor, but her own curiosity in inter-species relationships made his case difficult to pass up.

Brelev caught up with Nack before the end of the ceremony and congratulated him. She promised to keep in touch. Nack had appreciated her help. Salek was a great instructor, and Brelev only added to that experience.
After the ceremony, which was filled with a lot of high ranking officials expounding about their wisdom, Commander S'reena intercepted the group of former Cadets.
Nack saw the Romulan smile for the first time since he joined the Hanson. Now that he was a medical officer, perhaps people would have more respect for him... making up for his short stature.
As if she saw Nack notice the smile, she pulled it away quickly, showing a face that meant there was business to attend to.
"I was offered a position on the Vesuvius... and accepted it... so pending all the formalities, I should be transferring there relatively soon."

Daya stood in the back, watching as the newly graduated officers congradulate one another. He walked down the aisle as the crowd seemed to mingle together. When he reached Drew's side he tapped him on the shoulder and smiled as he turned around. "Commander Daya, reports as ordered. sorry i missed the last mission, i was completing the command training courses" Daya said with a big smile.

instead of going to his graduation Ardawen took his stuff and went right home, there would be to mutch people around at the graduation and he did not want to be there then.
carefully he walked trough the starbase when he walked over the academy grounds when he saw a big three.
He did not hesitated and put his backs on the ground and climbed in took his flute out of his pocket and began to play a happy song.
He was wondering what the future would bring him, but he would find out soon.

Beu-Pas stood near the back of the crowd wondering where her place was because she hadden done much during the mission. Her place, that was really a thought for her. What ship would be good for her? Being as misplaced as she was from all her peers.
